Best customer service Ive ever received Mike and Josh are outstanding. My daughter got a car thru them and a few months later I purchased a mini van . I highly recommend giving ZOMBIE JOHNS a try . I walked in the door a customer and left as a friend.
We got a GREAT deal from real people!Weve done business with a larger credit recovery type car dealer ship just down the road from this place (JD) in the past as well as other budget lots. WE SHOULDVE GONE HERE FIRST! The guys here were honest, no pressure, and set me up with something I wouldnt have chosen otherwise because this was BETTER than what I wouldve chosen. They also included a really great warranty, which was a literally a few extra dollars a month, but will be worth it if i should need it. Stop in in person to this place. Its not fancy, you will be tempted to just drive right by it, but really, its a diamond in the rough and you wont be sorry.
I bought my last car from Zombie Johns and was so pleased with the deal, service and how helpful Les is by making the deal work for me!!! Called and told car was available. Submitted credit application after phone call ( as I was told after credit approval I could put a down payment and have the car held) and told dealership I was going to fly in and pick up car. Next day follow up as I hadn’t heard from them and low and behold they sold the car after telling me it was available and after submitting my credit application. Low life dealership!! Don’t waste your time. Below response is a fabrication. If someone else was interested I should have been told and gladly would have submitted a deposit to hold the vehicle. Credit app was given less than 3 hours after speaking on the phone as I was at work and again had I been informed of the actual situation I would have submitted instantly and given a deposit. Was told multiple times car was available even though someone else was in the process of purchasing the vehicle. Terrible business ethics.
Today I drove away in my new truck, 2012 Silverado. I’m happy with the truck and how clean it is for a pre owed truck. After searching for awhile and and tons of frustration I came across this truck. One last attempt before I gave up and Gerry worked it out. He worked for me not against me and was nothing but transparent and honest the whole time. He did his absolute best for my situation and I couldn’t be happier. I recommend them and will do business with them again.
Andrew took great care of me. My unreasonable circumstances didnt stop their sales staff and they worked diligently with my situation and got me in a car and back on the road again. They have really good coustumer service, however I got a car from them paying 280 a month plus insurance, haven’t even had it for 6 months and it’s alreay falling apart. The day after I got it, the check engine light came on, they told me it was fully serviced however the rear end is about to fall apart. I told them the same week I got my car that the tie rod and ball joint in the back we’re really bad. They told me to bring it back so they could take care of it, they had my car for an entire week! And they didn’t get it fixed at all, when I picked it up they told me they fixed it, I just needed to get new tires in the back now, cool. But as I continued to drive my car I noticed the problem wasn’t gone. Which is really upsetting considering I’m paying all this money for it and pretty soon it’ll be broken down, because I have no money to get it fixed.
I got an 08 Ford Explorer (very clean) at a great price. Mike was very nice and easy to work with. I will recommend to friends and family to go see Mike. I will be back for my next vehicle. Thanks Mike, from Zombie Johns.

Go anywhere else. Cars fall apart not long after buying them. Yes my daughter gave you 5 stars the day she got the car( as any teenager getting her very first car would do cause theyre so excited) then it started breaking down over and over. And she did contact you weeks ago, and your answer was for her to come in and you will sell her a more reliable car and give her not even half of what we paid for this car. Thats real good business there. If you really want to help you can drop off a new battery, brake lines, rotors, and pads. Yes it needs all that from a car after not even 2 months from purchasing. And thats after the dry rotted tires that were replaced. Thats right, selling a car on a lot with dry rotted tires.( o, but you check all the cars out before selling them).
Les and Dustin gave me exactly what I wanted from a car dealer, they didnt try too-hard to sell, they didnt try to push inventory, and they didnt make the deal seem better than what it was even when I gave them the opportunity. Overall this is a good place to deal with and I recommend if youre in the market for a used car with 30-150k miles.
After several days at numerous car lots and totally exhausted from a search .. we gave the guys a Zombie Johns in North Canton a chance and life became easy.. They were very helpful and fast.. dropped off all the paperwork last night.. they called today with with an approval . Very painless process from start to finish.. we drove off in a great car and my wife is very happy... thanks again you guys!!
Worst car lot experience ever. These guys are crooks. Bait and switch. My girlfriend wanted a vehicle from them priced at $6,700 she had a trade in plus cash down for a total of $1,500. Also a 690 credit score with proof of income. They told her the only way to finance her was to up the vehicle price to over $10,000 which is illegal. Steer clear of these criminals.
Our family bought our 2nd car from Mike in June! Called this week because my son wanted to see about refinancing without a cosigner (he bought his car last year) and Mike was able to steer us in the right direction on how to do this! Mike always goes above and beyond even when its been a year and 1/2 after purchase of the car!!!!!

I was checking out a 2010 Buick Enclave these numb nuts had advertised for 8271.00 claiming it had low mileage on the odometer: 87483 to be precise.. Their problem, I did a government vehicle history report and the actual miles are 157,971 miles. You better do your homework people or charlatan used car dealers are going to take you for a ride. I will contact them to see if they will correct this or report them to the prosecutors office.*UPDATE-- The owner changed the odometer on craigslist to reflect what I had found on the government vehicle report site, but hes an arrogant disrespectful, obnoxious, confrontational, punk with very poor character. He had the option to simply come back and inform me and you all that he corrected the problem and request that I remove the bad review, but his deviant acumen simply prohibited this from coming to fruition. Instead he came back to attack my review of his obvious screw up with contempt and insults. I doubt he will remove his review to save his foolish rump from further embarrassment. His poor english could be a major contributor to his emotional dysfunction. If you would like an example of how obnoxious this creep is, scroll down at a couple of bad reviews hes gotten and that should serve as that microcosm of how he deals with adversity.

I can’t not explain enough how thankful I am for zombie johns of Akron! I look for a car for so long I was beginning to feel hopeless and was ready to give up. I checked out a couple of their cars on craigslist and was going to call but I thought, maybe I should check their reviews foremost. Glad I did. The owner or owners have a lot of contempt for their unhappy customers or even prospective customers. I read in one of the bad reviews, where the owners response was to call the customer an idiot and in another one he called that person ignorant. In another response, he maliciously disclosed that the customers car was repossessed. WOW! The ease at which this companys employees appear to have at unleashing their contempt for negative reviews instead of offering compassion through humility wreaks the stench of the type of vindictiveness youd think youd only find on social media sites such as facebook and twitter trolls. Im giving them this one star hoping they will amend their approach to those of us who have paid THEIR bills and who could have paid their bills. We are the consumers where if not for us, they would NOT have a means by which to make a living. They should think twice before thumbing their noses at us .... ever.

I put in a credit app. They pulled my credit with a hard inquiry. But never called me about the car to let me know if I was approved or wasn’t.

If I could give no stars I would we bought a car from here we didnt even have it a week and it started overheated of course we bought the extended warranty that apparently doesnt cover what is wrong with the car so now we have to put 500 dollars into a car we only had a week when I called of course there is nothing they can do even though its supposed to go through a safety inspection prior to being sold if it would of been done then maybe they would of caught the leaking of fluids and we wouldnt have got screwed over just stay away from this place

2020-06-19I have to say this is one of the best experiences that I have had with a car lot. The car is actually as good as it was in the pics. I had issues with my bank and couldn’t get all my money out and Mike went above and beyond to help me.I paid for the warranty just like anybody should do if you have the money to do it. However, the cars are not junk like at other dealers but it’s better safe than sorry.I don’t see how anybody can give this place a negative review. You are buying a used car. You can’t expect it to be perfect.Thank you guys for the great car and all your help!

2019-04-01If you’re looking for a car to buy outright. You could have a good experience. If you need to finance, run away and don’t look back. It’s a $5000 finance charge, and the company they finance through is criminal. The guy that sold me my car apparently was fired, or left. I left a negative review and they called to get me to take it down. They explained how to remove the warranty the salesman added without my knowledge and I removed it not knowing still how much pain would come from this transaction.The company they finance through does all they can to try and repo your car and then sell it at next to nothing. I’m paying over triple the value of the car because the shady inner workings of the two companies. I thought removing the warranty would help, but until I was being sued, I had no idea what all was lying in the shadows being revealed. Like the $5000 finance charge. Great finding out I could’ve bought a brand new car for what I paid for a used car.

2020-08-02I was in need of a cheap work truck quick. Andrew was a huge help getting me the Dakota I bought. 8 months and 25,000 miles later the truck is still running good. 2018-08-25We absolutely love Zombie Johns! We purchased a mini van last year(which we absolutely love) and when my step son started looking at buying a newer car we brought him here. The staff members are all friendly and welcoming. They get you in nice quality cars without ripping you off. We feel like were buying from family.

2019-11-06Andrew was a great salesman honest real polite gave me a great deal! Mike was able to keep me in my payment range and get me a really great low interest rate at a great price very polite down to earth. all in all the experience was great they were able to get me financed in something that I wanted and that I can afford at a decent payment just a bunch of great guys. Even a golden retriever that was there was a very awesome dog if you go there you got to play with the dog and FedEx the experience I had while I was there was wonderful thanks again zombie Johns for helping me get what I want to drive at a decent price two thumbs up!!

2017-07-05Great staff. Very friendly. Not too pushy. They can definitely help you finance a vehicle if you have a decent down payment. But... They should do a good once over the vehicles before selling them. Ive had my 04 Ford Taurus six months now. Of course, a 14 year old car in Ohio will have some under body rust but damn... A few days ago we got hit with a heavy rain. I was on my way to work and had to drive trough a partially flooded lane due to traffic in the lane next to me. No sooner than I started going through the water I had water shooting through the front passenger side floor like a geyser. The entire floor board literally blew out but its actually a good thing. With the floor board gone the frame was exposed and to no surprise at that point, the frame has an almost 2in hole in it with about a 3/4 inch crack on both sides of that hole. Not saying these guys are bad guys or they run a bad business but they should definitely have these cars checked out more thoroughly before selling. Had that floor board not blown out like that I never wouldve known about how badly damaged the frame was and that couldve had a seriously bad if not fatal outcome for me. Great customer service though.

2018-09-02Okay so just started rebuilding my credit and couldnt get typical financing but was desperately in need of a good car. So I went to zombie Johns in Akron. Not only did they have A+ customer service but they were also able to find me great financing to go with a great 2014 Hyundai accent. Which had low miles. Thanks again Zombie Johns.
