The food was delicious and our waitress was very attentive and sweet. The homemade BBQ sauce was so good that we had to buy some for home.
Do not eat here unless you want to wait almost 2 hours for your food. We called almost a week in advanced for a party of 15 so they knew we were coming and even called the day of to confirm. Half our party received our mostly cold food, finished, and left before the other half received their food. Two had to leave and not even get their food. The food was very poorly made. One half of my sandwich didnt even have meat in it. One person ordered a beer, they brought half a draft beer and said thats all thats left and promptly walked away and didnt ask if he wanted something else. Cannot remember the last time service was this terrible.
Great selection of beers, and a great variety of food for a local restaurant. Their flatbread pizzas are great, amd they have cabbage rolls, which Im a sucker for and you cant find in many places. I like their long bar and mood lighting. Overall a nice place to eat and drink

Good burgers, sandwiches, and fries. The waitress service was great, she was very attentive. Prices are a tad high in my opinion. Only reason it wasnt 5 stars is my family including young teens were seated very close to the bar where guys were cursing and acting a fool. It wasnt very busy so I feel we should or could have been seated on the other side of the wall. I do recommend the food!!
We were traveling back to Pennsylvania and needed a place for dinner we found Zalenskis. When we pulled into the parking lot we were concerned that it might not be a good place to eat based on the exterior. Since it was open and we are dealing with all this covid 19 stuff we went in.To our surprise the inside is much nicer than the outside. It was very clean, the food was really good and Damien our server was awesome.
Great food! Some different and delicious sandwiches along with entrees. Their wings are superb with a lot of flavors. The 1822 is very HOT 🔥. Rumor has it they have one hotter but you have to ask. 😳
Food is okay. Service is less to be desired. The waitress apologized every time she came to our table. They werent even terribly busy.

This place has gone so far down hill since Ive been in high school. The owner doesnt know if this should be a bar or a restaurant and as such the service and food are terrible. Anything fried tastes like it was made in year old grease. The bartenders are the only acceptable part of this establishment but unfortunately not enough for me to come back.
Been here twice. Food was average. It tasted good but was cold both times. Waitress was less than personable and attentive. One of the worst bloody Marys Ive ever had. They do sell Hightower beer though. Thats always a plus.
I had one of the most genuine waitress. She was quick, and kept our drinks filled at all times. She offered us the appetizers that she thought wed like and they were delicious! Im giving this restaurant 4 stars just because of the service and appetizers. The pasta I ordered was a tad chewy but other than that Ill be coming back and hopefully that waitress is working!(I think her name was Medena)
We had a good meal here, the menu was pretty good and the staff was friendly. Waited a little longer than I wouldve liked for our meal considering they arent busy but we may have just caught them opening up. We all left full and enjoyed the food, draft beer menu was great.
I found it very relaxing and enjoyable. Service was excellent as was the food. I would recommend to everyone. Reasonably priced also . Thank You Zalenskis for a meal well prepared tonight and very excellent service from the Host whom seated me and the waitress whom took my order and served me. Bravo well done.
Haven’t ate here in years but I recently was in town so I stopped in for a bite to eat. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo came out cold and it was terrible! My bud got wings and they barely had enough sauce wasn’t too good either. It definitely wasn’t as good as it use to be!
Food is overpriced (except on mediocre wing night) and set up in odd way too. The entire building used to be a neighborhood store, and it in a way still looks like it. The food is not only inconsistent by the dish, its inconsistent by the day. Never know what youll get here. That said I know people that really like it. For the record though, I think they just have poor taste.
I enjoyed my visit and dinner very much. The owner is very nice and talks to the customers. Lots of different daft beer and the food is above ordinary, even the fries were better. If I lived close, Id eat here often.
They are a nice friendly with good food a place you can take your family and get something good to eat the service is fast the food is fresh and they have a nighttime bar you can enjoy at night or whenever really but I give 5 stars

This place is very dated, holes in ceiling from an apparent water break or leak. An ungodly odor walking through the door. Upon ordering they were out of basically everything, their grilled corn on the cob was corn soaked in water all day and placed on a grill for 2 minutes 1 side for a char. Their salad was horrible, watered down lettuce with 3 tomatoes, 4 pieces of cucumber and 4 croutons, my fiancees soup was cold and nasty, my chicken parmesan was cold in the middle of the pasta and cold pieces of chicken with a ton of cheese to cover the mistakes. The waitress smelled like 2 packs of cigarettes, played on her cell phone instead of doing anything constructive like clean. Definitely will not be back...
I went to get dinner, specialty night for wings, not advertised as the price was eat in. We had a nice waitress, and our daughter was the hostess that night. Place for teens to go, not for families, really noisy, not clean. I will not return.
Was there for a funeral luncheon. Food and service were on par.
Got a fish dinner, fish was not done on the inside, very fishy tasting, & the outside was so hard theres no way you could actually chew it. Couldnt eat it... Told the server, she didnt offer to replace it with something else or take it off the bill or do anything else to fix it. Plus prices were not listed on menu so we were kinda surprised when we got our bill & saw what it came to. Despite it being a family restaurant there was no kids menu, not that we saw anyway... And the time we were there prior to this, there was a bucket on the floor beside the tables catching water as it dripped from a leak in the ceiling. Still gave it another shot after that, but wont be going back again after this last time.
Terrible! The waitresses are sloppy & slow. Food took over 45 min and was soggy. No fresh ingredients. The management is rude and drinks on the job. This place will never see another penny from us. Thank goodness we dont live in the area.
Only thing good here was the waitress was nice...the Tomato Basil soup tasted like the chef spilled a tub of salt in it...sodium overload! Roasted potatos were dripping with grease...the salad was the one good food item!

My son and I stopped on a Saturday evening for dinner. Service is good and our burgers were decent. Atmosphere is ok but a bit dated. I would go again.

Breakfast was terrible. Hash browns came uncooked (requested crunchy - not uncooked). After getting a replacement - came soaked in greece as if intentional. Server made excuse the cook was slammed - not.

To put it simply, I wouldnt take my dog here to eat. Food sucks, service sucks more, and the owner/management is the worst of all. Dont waste your time.Note to future employees: Glenn Zalenski is a crook and will get you out after 2 months. His favorite excuse is that he thinks youre stealing money or food and based on your response, he will either keep or fire you. He doesnt like to pay into taxes.

All the negative reviews are very true and id say that isnt the half of it! I worked there and the owner is very rude, the staff hates working for Mr. Z, the kitchen is very unsanitary, I am shocked this place is still open.

2022-02-21Food is OK, we had wedding soup that had no salt and baked chicken that was overly salty, but the pasta and salad were better. Staff seemed to be very nice and were quick to take empty dishes away. Building needs updated badly, stained and missing ceiling tiles, stained carpeting. We ate here a few years ago and again recently, nothing has changed.

2022-04-12Great service, 5-stars. And although it took a while, the food was very good. All 7 of us were pleasantly surprised and commented on the quality of the food. We were there for lunch and they offered both lunch and breakfast options. The restaurants exterior isnt very inviting and the interior is somewhat cavernous and feels more like a large bar, not a restaurant, however it was still enjoyable and again, the food was great! If I find myself back in Wintersville, Ohio, I will definitely make it a point to come back.

2021-03-13First time eating here. Got the meatballs marinara. From scratch meatballs, sauce, and pasta! Perfectly cooked and size of meal. I like the atmosphere and the staff is good. Would highly recommend. Im coming back to try other things.Update. Went again for the crayfish and sausage pasta dish. Rich and just as good as the previous dish.

2021-09-08Attended a banquet there so I cant comment on the restaurant, but the food was very good for a buffet, and Mr. Zalenski was very attentive and accommodating. Bar has a good selection of draft beers and liquor.

2020-09-01Had a bridal shower there during the covid problem. Everything was wonderful. They handled the food, the seating and serving carefully and according to health protocols. I never had to worry about a thing. The food was wonderful and a few of the guests with special requests were treated with kindness and given what they needed quickly. I would not hesitate to have any function there.
