Went to this restaurant b/c it was close to my hotel. Big mistake. Ordered chicken fried rice. Go to fill out my receipt (paid w/ debit card), she tells me that i dont have to sign. Excuse me? Idk what her intentions were but I give a tip separately. What I received wasnt what I ordered. Save your $. Wasted $15.
Horrible experience. The old lady that runs this place is incredibly rude. The food was ok but based on the service I would never go back. She couldn’t give me an itemized receipt (for work) and scolded me for asking for one. I asked for a drink and she old had warm bottles, I asked for a cup of ice (staying at a hotel) and she told me no. My ticket $16 but she decided to give herself a $3 tip on a takeout order. Unbelievable.
My experience here was once in a lifetime.Ping (the owner) doesnt treat you like a customer, so dont go in there thinking she will. She treats you like a real friend. She says whatever comes first to her mind, which means anything you do, she will express her thoughts about it.As far as customer service goes, it all depends on how YOU are as a person. If you go in there annoyed, you will most likely have a bad experience. But if you go in there happy, you will be treated with love. She only has 2 employees. Her and her husband. She cooks everything herself in the back with REAL ingredients. As far as the food tastes, you can tell there is a lot less oil in it, and the shrimp are real, large sized shrimp. It tastes amazing, and i really enjoyed it.She is somewhat impatient, since she is the cook, hostess, waiter, and pretty much anything else the resturant needs, she tries to get you to go a little faster so that she can cook the food, so you wont have to wait long. Other than that, she is an amazing person. The dining room is closed for the pandemic, but she does allow you to sit in the dining room to order. No masks or temperature checks are required, you just cant eat in.When picking up, i suggest you dont take too long to pickup. While she was cooking our food we overheard her leave a voicemail threatening to send some guys number to the police for not picking up his food. But he called back stating he has some emergency and hed pay her double next time he came. She is just vert dufferent from many resturants, and thats what i truly love about yum yummy. She doesnt strive to make you happy, she treats you like she feels you should be treated. When we went to pay, i put a $5 tip on the receipt for her, she crossed it off, and wrote 2 on it instead. It was the most surprising thing i have EVER seen someone do. And even after that, she gave us some fortune cookies, stating that she never gives them out.I really loved this place, and would come everyday just to talk to ping, but her food is definitely a plus!
This counts the second time my family and I have stopped on our drive between Michigan and Tennessee. Both times the food is excellent. Yum Yummy is right off 75 and is delicious. This time I got almond chicken and my son got beef fried rice. The chicken was great, tender and flavorful, but the fried rice blew our socks off. My son says its like the wizard of oz, totally magical! I dont know how they prepare the beef but it had a wonderful complexity of flavor and the vegetables were perfection. Im trying to eat healthy which is why we chose yum yummy but this is not a health food compromise. Unfortunately the egg rolls werent at the same level so my husband wishes hed just eaten the fried rice. I mean, come on, who makes delicious fried rice! This place is great!
I consider this place to have the best take-out Chinese food in the area. Generous portions, delicious food, and reasonably priced. I love their beef dishes. They are happy to spice up your dish too if you want to kick things up a notch. It never seems to be very busy when we have stopped by. The menu online may not be 100% accurate on price (sometimes off by a dollar or two) and they only accept debit card transactions (no credit cards). Neither of those things bother me because the food is totally worth it.
Best Chinese food in the land. The restaurant is owned and ran by just one older couple, so please remember to offer your patience and kindness as they handle your business. The food is made with fresh ingredients from scratch and the portions are very generous. My favorite is Mo Po Tofu; when they say spicy they mean it! The woman, who cooks, also has very generously given us extra soups, cookies, etc for free on several occasions. Again, treat them with respect while you are in their establishment and you will be rewarded with great food and service.
Hands down my favorite restaurant in Toledo.Run by an older Chinese/Taiwanese couple (Romeo and Juliet!) , Ping makes an excellent stir fry while “ the man” takes orders and serves drinks. It may not sound like it, but it is truly a unique experience with a surprising amount of customer loyalty, for those of us that are fine with getting a curry when we ordered Sichuan (because it was a good remedy for the flu), or not being allowed sweet and sour(because she heard about our blood sugar problems) or getting a fresh boa bun (Amazing!) or Mandarin doughnut without milk (why do people eat this!).Menu is more of a suggestion than a hard an fast rule, you get what you get and you don’t throw a fit, will vary based ingredient access. Pings makes a homemade sauce that will vary in heat based on freshness of sauce and how hot the peppers from her garden were.Devout Christian and will happily talk about it along with the latest Chinese communist party “news” - bet you didn’t know the Dali Lama drinks his tea out of the skulls of his enemies, did ya, but the CCP knows. Also made us watch part of the CCP 100th anniversary parade on YouTube (although YouTube is banned in China so…)Ping recently became a US Citizen, had to show everyone the picture of her waving goodbye to the Chinese flag, it was great.Yep, you get to know the owners REALLY well if you become a regular, and they get to know you well too. Expect a call if you don’t show up on your normal day to check to make sure everything is okay.Could not recommend more highly. Also refuses tips, so I find the best thing to do is drop money on the floor, if she finds it before you leave the parking lot, she will run after you, beware!
Great food! I ordered for the first time a couple weeks back. I had the chicken vegetables, general tso chicken, two egg rolls, and it came with white rice. The chicken and vegetables were cooked perfectly. The rice was great too. I even considered asking how they cook their rice because it was so fluffy and good. Portion sizes were large. Only negative was the containers used can bend a little (maybe because the portions are so big, or maybe it knocked over while I was driving it home?) so need to be careful transporting it (it comes in a bag though so no sauce leaked out of the bag). I will be going here again, and would definitely recommend this food to family and friends.
The food is good and the owners of this place are amazing! i ordered at 9 because i thought they closed at 10. turns out they closed at 9 but they were insistent on taking my order and i’m so glad they did because the food is so good. the owners were so kind and sweet. definitely will order from here again!
I called in a large order that included 4 meals, and a few sides. The lady on the phone was super funny and very helpful on how hot her food was. This was very different style from what I’m used too. I became so Americanized with the fried Chinese that when I got mine home to eat I was confused. I kept an opened mind because of the reviews. Sure enough it was super good! I really like now that it’s not fired, I don’t feel so guilty. My daughter on the other hand got sweet n sour chicken and wasn’t as happy because it wasn’t fried. She said, it tasted good but she’s such a skinny little thing she’s not worried about the extra fat :). These are very large meals!! One order can feed two grown men! I will have food for days. I did use a credit card and there were no issues. These owners were nice, funny, and I will go back!
Wow, what an amazing place! Wonderful food and great service. The owner steers you in the right direction of what to order. She took all of the orders and cooked all of the food. The crab rangoons are real crab and delicious. Everything is from scratch including sauces. There is a slight wait but she is back there making all of the food fresh to order. The wait is really not bad for what you get. She is also very modest and doesn’t want you to tip. Also they don’t charge enough for what you get. We are from out of state and will definitely be back!!
I had the chicken fried rice which was very tasty. There were plenty of vegetables all of which were fresh. The chicken breast was also of good quality. The portion was huge and the price was extremely reasonable. They were very accommodating and were able to tailor the amount of spice that I wanted for my dish to my specific request. I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. While the inside of the restaurant was not much to look at, the food more than made up for that. I plan on returning for another visit in the near future. This is excellent Chinese food at a very reasonable price.Update:I had returned to the area and decided to visit a second time. The food was every bit as fresh and tasty as my first visit. I had requested to the chef, Ping, for a modification to my meal, which was cashew chicken. She was more than happy to adjust it. My experience both times has been delightful. I find the food quality high, the portions large and the price very reasonable.
My wife and I stopped by for a quick bite while doing errands - The owners are great, food was made fresh to order from scratch which was pretty amazing for the price. Ive never had from scratch egg drop soup before, game changer. Egg rolls wrapped to order - Excellent value, delicious food.
Awful experience with both customer service and food. Food tastes like mall food court Chinese food with a bunch of chili’s dumped on it. Furthermore, customer service was awful as the lady at the counter was rude, especially when we mentioned that the prices did not reflect prices on their website and printed menus. Would not recommend
Hidden Perrysburg Treasure,Excellent food and very nice husband and wife owners. Food is fresh and cooked without cutting corners. They dont charge enough for what you receive. The owners go out of their way to make the order as you like it.Not fast food but good food, many selections from menu.
This place is great. Im staying at a hotel across the street and the other reviews convinced me to try it. I walked in with the intention of ordering take out. The reviews said the place had some good stuff in the authentic Chinese section, so I asked the woman for the lamb with sliced bread soup. She said, No, that is not for take out.I kept looking at the Chinese specialties section and she told me to look on the other pages. I asked if I could get the lamb to eat there and she said yes if I really wanted.I asked if it was good, and she said, people in China like it. I dont know if you will. Well, that sounded like a challenge to me.The sliced bread was homemade and sliced thin. It was almost like chewy noodles. It had great flavor and texture. Ginger and just on the spicy side because I asked for it hot.The owners talked to me for a while. Once they realized that I loved their dish, I had won them over. If Im back in the area I will defiantly return.
Very rude and impatient!I have tried this restaurant many times only because it’s location is convenient. They can barely communicate and even after trying to work with the language barrier they have the Audacity to be rude, raising their voice in annoyance because the customer is asking questions about what’s being ordered? Can you imagine? You’re supposed to cross your fingers and hope they got it right. This is not the first time I’ve had this same experience at this place. However, it is the last time for me. They don’t deserve my business!
This little restaurant is owned by a cute older couple who are just darling. The ingredients are fresh and crisp. The fried rice is piled high with the beef, shrimp, chicken or pork along with the veggies. The beef and broccoli has a delicious sauce and white rice on the side. The lo mein is pretty good the noodle or fried rice ratio to ingredients is a little off but both are good tasting. There isnt a fryer so its much healthier and i had an egg roll it was delicious along with a sweet sauce.. I really do love the place so try it out and enjoy the food and the couple who own it
I tried to call to place an order for pick-up and wasn’t expecting to get yelled at for trying to order a soup and a seaweed salad. I was completely unaware that they no longer serve it as it’s still on all of their online menus. I decided to take my business to Tea Tree in Levis Commons where they treated me kindly (and served great soup/seaweed salad). If you’re considering ordering here, I hope this review spares you from being chewed out by whoever answers their phones.
Lady was extremely rude. There was nobody in the restaurant, I just wanted a cup of soup and she legit told me to go somewhere else because she doesnt have time. Then we see her watering plants after we went to Panera. In a covid-19 world their business must be booming of theyre turning away customers.
The owners passionate about the freshness of their food, so dont go there if youre looking for mediocre Chinese food. They make everything from scratch so it takes a little bit of time, but still not a long wait.My husband ordered egg drop soup, I got wonton soup, and we shared some egg rolls. It was all so good, the wontons reminded me of the dumplings I used to eat when I lived in China. Looking forward to going to try other dishes.
This was the best Chinese meal weve ever had! The vegetables were fresh, the meat was tender, the sauces were unique and very, very good.Because of all the Independence Day activities going on, we had the restaurant to ourselves. The owners talked to us through the whole meal, which delighted us. They are very friendly and very interesting.I cant recommend this restaurant strongly enough!
The old lady always talked to us, even when we were eating. Went there with a foreigner, she didn’t even ask what food he likes, gave him the sweet sour beef. Seriously??? After eating, took unreasonable tips and said “I am saving money for you”. No credit card, only cash.Food sucks, service sucks, people even worse.
Amazing food and amazing service. Very friendly staff. My wife and I had the Kung Pow Chicken and the General Tso’s Chicken. Both were excellent. The pot stickers were really good as well. The lady and man that worked there were funny and friendly. Will definitely be going back again. Favorite Chinese food ever!
Delicious food, friendly proprietors. No MSG upon request. Sauces are savory, not too sweet. Food is excellently prepared. My kids said it was the best Lo Mein they have ever had. Chicken & veggies had plenty of vegetables. Szechuan chicken can be prepared to any spice heat level; I recommend medium for a good heat that still allows the flavor to shine through. Owners were very nice to our children. Family friendly atmosphere.
STAY AWAY !!!!!!I called to place a order for pick up and a man was taking my order and was being extremely rude , then I went to pick up my order, I sent my boy friend In because I didn’t feel comfortable. A lady was helping him and was being rude as well and the man he took my order over the phone was cooking in the back and being rude to my bf as well. The mess up my order and it was poorly portioned and the food tasted like it was setting out under a warmer for a while, it was so bad I couldn’t eat it . DONT GO HERE STAY AWAY
Terrible and awful experience. Service is so bad how they can got 4.5 scores. 1.The woman owner didnt give us time to see the menu cause shes so busy. 2 she forced us both to order noodles cause shell convenient to cook two at a time. 3 the noodle comes likely with the leftover vegetables. 4 its not the worst. When we want the check she roar at us cause she is still busy. She want to customers always wait her. So ridiculous. Oh and when we got the check. She forced us to give her tips. terrible experience in the united state.
Been here 5 times and never had a bad meal. The owners run the entire place alone so they can get overwhelmed if big orders come in. Ping is the cook and will try to give you what she thinks you want but can easily be talked out of it. Shes a fiesty, spitfire lady and they both work insanely hard when you watch them in the kitchen. Take them with a grain of salt, their sweet and salty personalities is part of the charm!
Nothing we ordered was good to us. Perhaps it is more traditional. The crab rangoon tasted sour. The sweet and sour pork/chicken is the meat and a bunch of broccoli and mushrooms in a watery sauce, no red sweet and sour sauce, not breaded pieces of chicken. The egg rolls werent tasty to us. The sesame chicken was also pieces of chicken in a different watery sauce, not breaded. We didnt care for it.
This used to be our go to Chinese restaurant. The food is good, but after too many issues with the owners we will be taking our business elsewhere. The woman complains if you use a credit card to pay for your food and tries to charge you extra for using a card. When we tried to use our bank card instead of our rewards card to appease her she actually asked us for our pin number because she didnt want to run it as a credit. No food is worth the hassle.
Delicious, authentic, food! Amazing taste and quality. BEST restaurant in Perrysburg.Staff is also extremely kind and fun! It is also very clean and family friendly. 100% recommend!UPDATE: Today we made our now usual stop at Yum Yummy to enjoy dinner. The staff was pleasant as usual, but unfortunately there was quite the churlish couple of costumers there as well. They were cavilling at everything possible.First, that she was too warm (although still wearing her long sweater indoors?), that she wanted a straw (quite a childish request for someone who was presumably an adult), and then finally, she had found a stray hair in her meal. The cook and waiter, who is a bald man, handled this well, and immediately offered to cook her yet another dish, and to take if off the bill. This costumer was ungrateful and reluctant, then deciding to blame the long, red, hair (very similar to her own), on the bald waiter. This costumer was yelling, making puerile arguements, and even then even told them to shut up as if she were a child. After cutting the price of the meal for these ill-mannered people, they continued to scream in the face of the managers incongruously, until asked to leave.I firmly believe the managers treated the situation correctly, and appropriately put their foot down when needed. After, they expressed condolences to us, giving us discounts and complementary items to take home, along with our still delicious and authentic meal. This is a wonderful, 5-star, eatery with very kind and responsible staff. We love it here, and am sure you would too!
I have a new favorite place to go for Chinese food. The typical heavy, syrupy-sweet, generally-cheap-tasting staples of most Chinese restaurants are replaced by some incredibly finely-crafted, made-to-order sauces and marinades that fit the dishes perfectly. The missus had the Beef with Broccoli, and I havent had that high-quality of beef at a Chinese restaurant in...ever. It was most, tender, and perfectly cooked.I copped-out on originality to try the General Tsos Chicken. I mean, its kind of a go-to for me, and if it sucks, the entire place tends to.Well, it turns out Ive never had *good* General Tsos before. And this? This was great. I ordered it spicy, and instead of painful, it was just another level of flavor added to an already-complex profile. I had to force myself to stop eating it, to get a to-go box just so I could enjoy it later. If I had a complaint at all, it was only that there were mushrooms in it, but thats a personal preference, and even they were tasty. The entire dish is hands-down the best Chinese food Ive ever had, and I look forward to coming back to Yum Yummy (and their wonderfully warm customer service) for a long, long time.
I was visiting the area on business. This place was right across the street from my hotel and I was tired so I thought I would try it. The food was decent and not why I gave it the rating that I did. The owner was miserable. I pulled out a credit card to pay, as they say they take credit cards, but she read me the riot act because “credit cards cost her money”. She literally wanted me to go to an ATM to get cash because she’s a small business and can’t afford credit card fees. Needless to say I didn’t leave to go to an ATM and use my credit card but I would never go back. If you don’t want to take credit cards make it a cash only business. At least that way I know walking in the door what I need versus going in and getting berated because I wanted to use a payment method they said they except.
This place is horrible and the woman who owns this place needs to learn how to be respectful to her customers instead of yelling at them or making them do things because of what she wants. Also, food isnt that great. Theres literally HUNDREDS of good Chinese restaurants in the Toledo area, so avoid this one if you dont want to have to deal with crazy.
I travelled from Canada to Perrysburg, OH for my sons soccer tournament saw the sign for the restaurant across the street from the hotel. My husband loves Chinese food and instantly looked up its rating, he was pleased and off we went. Only to be met by a hugely disappointing racist couple (the owners), especially the woman. A man greeted us and offered us some menus as we explained that we would like to order takeout. As we were looking through the menu out popped this women from the kitchen stating loudly we only make authentic Chinese food, nothing fried or deep fired and (pointing at me) your people called the police because they didnt...blah blah I tuned her out at that point because I was completely floored...”my people” I replied…”these are my people”, I said pointing to my husband and two young girls. I was thinking I am a Canadian woman of Caribbean heritage...my people? What? As she was trying to explain herself I had no idea what she was saying I was still in shock…Honestly I don’t know what happened between her comment and us trying to order from the menu, we were about to order, a basic Chinese food item…fried rice only for her to come again from where she was to say that they don’t have any…what at 6:00 pm in the evening, the place closes at 11:00 pm and no fried rice of any sort…I can see the man was trying to say to the ignorant woman they can make it, then she changed her mind and said she would make some fresh for us….so the gentleman that was there as we walked in must have left with old stale fried rice! During all this my husband was talking to the man actually being quite sarcastic with them and teasing about the “authenticity” of the Chinese food as they readily point out very blatantly in our face stating the mentioned she had received in the local paper and that the food is very good…tooting their own horn. But forgetting to mention their subtly and blatant racist ways. Why didn’t we just leave, I guess the Canadian in us was too strong and I felt so sorry for them, they were so unaware of what they were doing, it seemed so natural for them…I need to all find all listings online of this restaurant to warn people especially “African Americans” and black people from all walks of life STAY FAR AWAY from this place. Then to top it off, once she found out we were Canadian she said Ooops...I gave you too much she thought we were locals...I am not making this up and she was not joking. Really that is how you treat your out of town guess? Yum Yummy is Yuck Yucky!!!
Panda Express??? Wing Wok??? Are you serious....? This place is Hands down THE greatest Chinese food Ive ever had. My order would have cost me $60 easily at any China House. Fed my family of five with tons of food left over for $45. And she helped me carry it out to my car.
The lady is super nice. The guy is very friendly. The food is good because it is real and fresh. It is not like Panda or a buffet in terms of quality. You can tell it is higher quality because they talk about their culture every time they have you pay, and they talk about their love for making their type of food.It is very similar to having two asian grandparents making you food, so if you have asian grandparents who love to cook for you, you will find this oddly familiar. The Ma Po Tofu extra spicy is their spiciest dish. The Ma Po Tofu is still good but since its Tofu it doesnt retain as much flavor as the Szechuan Fish.Their Szechuan Fish extra spicy is their 2nd spiciest dish but it has way more flavor than Ma Po Tofu. This dish features one of the best fish I have ever eaten. Usually, fish is dry and most people dont cook it right. If you love fish, you have probably come to accept that no one knows how to cook it. Youll be pleased to find out that Yum Yummy knows how to cook fish. However, it is like $14 making it one of their most expensive dish, but its worth it.Their specialty is spicy food, but they also have sweet and gentle foods for people who cant handle spicy things.Their location on Fremont Pike actually caught on fire and was down for a bit, but they were back open and everything in like 2 weeks. On top of that, they bounced back so much so that it looked like the fire never happened.I work across the street at Holiday Inn and I go their for dinner like almost every week. Sometimes twice a week.
Best of mom and pop! Owners were super friendly and the food... OMG so delicious and absolutely authentic!I had the beef noodle soup on the back of the menu (pic in uploads)... Omg the flavor was so incredibly rich and velvety! And to add I am Asian... I hope that provides prospective of why Im so happy when I find delicously superb Authentic Asain food.
I went in to dine in the owner rolled her eyes as she had to make a big order for carry out. She was not happy to Serve us like it was a big inconvenience so i just dropped chop and left. It seems like most of Chinese service Sucks but this place tops it. But there is a good buffet across the street.
Amazing food. Amazing service. I am a Chinese and this is officially my favorite place to eat. My American friends love this place too. I am from Bowling green and I will be graduating next week, I cannot believe this is the first time I eat here. Please come try the food. You won’t regret it!
They take Visa and MC, but when I handed her my Amazon card, she refused to take it. She said they refuse to accept any credit card that says Rewards on it. When I told her that she has taken my card many times in the past she didnt believe me. She said I had to pay an additional $4 for me meal if I wanted to use a Rewards Card. When I told her I wasnt going to do that she told me she didnt care if I come to her restaurant anymore. Probably the rudest little old lady ever.
Whined about a late order at 9:10pm when it clearly says theyre open until 10pm. When i asked them about being open until 10 they said they had to drive 10 miles away. boohoo everybody drives to work. Most more than that. They do not have a website or a menu online. We aquired a menu from our hotel across the street. After we ordered and im waiting inside to pick up my food I went to hand them my credit card and she gave me some line about not accepting my rewards card which i will not list here. I thohght she was joking. then when she persisted I asked what their minimum credit card purchase was. She went on to tell me a sob story about how they would need to pay 500$ a month. She took my card and swiped it. Then proceded to tell me I owed her 3.50$ after I blanked out the grautity box. She took the pen and crossed out my line and added in 3.50$ on gratuity on her own and retotalled. I left and disputed with the credit card company. the food was good but nothing resembling the Chineese food we ordered. GOOD LUCK ORDERING HERE. Common busibess sense is, its not worth pissing off your customers over 2-3% of a 26$ order. Thats insane. I understand maybe a 5$ minimum. I told her to get Square, she showed me her computer. WHATEVER!
I wish I could give this place a -2 star rating. Rude owner, terrible service, forced us to change our order, told us to finish our food quickly, and resisted giving takeaway boxes. She was very racist as well. We will never go there again. Worst restaurant experience of my entire life.
Dont like to drop this card but I tried to go in and get some biang biang noodles, they look at me and tell me no Im better off with beef lo mein that people like me cant handle the spice and would refuse to do carryout. Was looking forward to authentic flat noodles as a newcomer to the area but will never go back again.
There were so many things wrong with restaurant I dont even know where to begin. First off all, when I tried to order a side appetizer the woman working (the old woman who apparently has terrorized many people before) scoffed at us and gave us a dirty look for only ordering a side dish. Then when I tried to pay the man working (probably her husband) couldnt figure out how to work the computer so asked if I had cash. When I said no, the same horrible woman came out and started yelling at me about how I cant use a credit card to order something that was only $3.99 and that it would cost her money? How does that make any sense?! Oh and when my brother asked to use the restroom she goes, You just came in here to use the bathroom didnt you?The entire restaurant was empty and I can tell why; we ended up leaving and not buying anything which is the womans fault for being so rude and intolerable to us.DO NOT eat here unless you want to get yelled at by a lady who thinks she knows what shes saying but clearly doesnt.
We went out of our way to stop here on our way down south because I remembered stopping here before and loving it. This is fresh made food with fresh ingredients. I noticed a few complaints about having to wait for food, but the wait is because its being made. You can here them cooking it in the back. We were the only ones here and both of the owners were quite cordial and friendly. We ordered small egg drop and hot & sour soups first. They were generous for small sizes and wonderfully fresh. Dont expect the thickened stuff here. The soup is fresh and fairly light. I love the oil on top too. It adds a nice flavor. We also had the beef and broccoli. It was amazing! The sauce was downright heavenly. The beef tasted fresh and the broccoli and other veggies were fresh and well prepared. It was a nice sized portion. The food tasted like homemade (because it was!) and we really loved it.Oh, and most amazing was the price. We paid just over $15 (plus a tip) for the two soups, one entree, and a pot of tea. Thats amazing for fresh, tasty food! I really wish this place was in our area. Highly recommended.
We had a great experience. The people were very friendly and willing to answer questions. This was our first time there, so they explained that they served authentic Chinese food; no Msg, no deep fried meat and lower sugar. Big difference from the deep fried, sticky-sweet dishes were used to.My wife enjoyed her lo mein and my Gen. Tsos chicken was the best Ive ever had. It wasnt deep fried, for starters. And the sauce. The sauce was amazing! I ordered it spicy (but only 4 out of 10 because he said nobody else can compete with their level of spiciness! And it had quite kick for 4/10. I probably wouldnt go any higher than 5 or 6. Lol, and I would definitely step up slowly.) Aside from the heat, the sauce had great flavor. It was a little sweet, but I dont think from sugar; something natural, Im sure. It had a nice, complex flavor. I didnt do a chemical analysis so Im not sure what else was in there, but it was good!We are definitely going back soon.
Jerk lady chased us to car demanding tip when she honestly didnt deserve a penny. She about climbed through drivers side window yelling at us that she would call the cops. My sister and i were from out of town, visiting the hotel across the street. Will NEVER return if in the area
I walked in today for lunch to place a carry out order and there was no one in the restaurant the only person work I was an older gentleman who was talking on the phone I said I wanted to place to carry out order he handed me a menu walked away and never came back I left. I wont be going back

2022-07-27Great food, with fresh-tasting ingredients and quality product. And the service and attentiveness by the owner was absolutely fantastic! She welcomed us in and accommodated us in every way. The food was excellent, and very tasty. Pot stickers were fantastic, so was the Hunan pork and the sweet and sour chicken. Absolutely wonderful dinner!

2022-04-01If I could marry this place I would. This is the best food I’ve ever tasted and puts your common Chinese restaurants too shame. When they say it’s fresh it tastes like they picked it behind the store! The portions are large also. The lady in the front was so sweet 😍 I will be a permanent customer

2022-03-09This place is exceptional! I have loved this style of cooking for a very long time and this small business out does everyplace I have ever tried. The quality is worth the drive and the quantity is over the top! My husband usually tolerates it for me, but this time he actually enjoyed it! To pass up this mom and pop restaurant, one would be missing a chance to experience authentic Chinese cuisine.

2022-04-13Food is always awesome and quick here. I love that they have healthier options. Veggies are always SO FRESH and tons of flavor! The woman who checks you out, I presume she is the owner, does a heck of a job, place is clean and she is always so friendly! I always am happier with the food I get here vs any other Chinese place in town. My favorite lo mein ever and you get a lot of it! She wouldn’t let me leave a tip, she just told me to come back. Which we will as my husband and I love the style of cooking. Also… you can order an order of a dozen crab Rangoon here and they are outstanding and so is the sauce. I’ve tried many of the different dishes here — they’ve all been amazing. This is a true ma and pop show and it’s absolutely worth it.

2022-04-01When I walked in a singular older Chinese woman in the restaurant and she greeted me and said you tell me your order I cook it for you, I knew that I was about to have the best Chinese food of my life. And it was. The sweet and sour pork was phenomenal. While she was a little hard to understand, she was very sweet and seemed very excited to talk to me. Understand that there is a very intense cultural barrier. All in all, bless this woman, bless this restaurant, Im so glad I decided to stop in on my way to Indiana from Cleveland.

2022-04-28Let me just say, you are in for an experience just picking up your to go order. The owner is so incredibly kind and sweet, but also very outgoing. Her food was delicious and fresh. She was concerned that I got spicy lo mein, because it was my first time there and honestly, it was intense, but that was some of the best lo mein I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back and get some healthy Chinese food!! Portions are very generous.

2022-08-14A small restaurant with fantastic food and super friendly folks. Had the pork fried rice and it was amazing, especially the pork in it. Got take out and one order is a lot of food for a good price, going to make great leftovers! The mixed veggies as well includes a much larger veriety of veggies than your typical mixed veggies really loved the veriety in the meal.I was staying in the area at one of the hotels, its within walking distance from a good handful of them, and an easy drive from the rest. Highly recommend if youre staying in the area, wish I had a Yum Yummy back home!

2022-07-16One of the best Chinese restaurants I ever had. Owner was so very friendly and kept us in conversation since we were the only ones there. She really gets to know her customers when she can. We were passing through but will definitely go back again if we ever come through Toledo again.
