I never write public reviews.This Business needs to be Reviewed!I have been talking with Melissa at YALCARS Youngstown since November 29th 2021I entered into the Purchase Of the 2012 (white) Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged.Arrangements were made and we were paying their list price and had a cashiers check for the full amount, we were scheduled to pick the car up last Saturday at 12.The salesperson Melissa knew we were driving 3 hours to pick up the car.I emailed Melissa when we were an hour from her and we were on schedule and will be there at 12.Melissa calls us 20 minutes later to say that they needed to change the spark plugs so they needed us to come back Monday.We explain that we are already in Youngstown.So she says that she will see if they can get it done.She calls us back and says they will try to have ready by 4They close at 3 but will stay late for us.Then a little before 4 the sales manager Russ calls us and says the fuel filter needs changed and parts will not be in til next week.We returned home 7 hours in the car on Saturday and no car.Russ apologized and reassured me that they can deliver the car to us, at no charge to us, that week as soon as car is ready.As of today December 18, 2021 we have not heard from one person at YALCARS.Melissa knew that my Husband and my Loan Officer worked hard to buy this car for me as a Christmas Surprise and she totally disrespected all involved.I repaid the loan at my bank and cancelled the insurance I put on the car and paid interest on the loan and a week of I insurance I had put on a car we never closed on.The lack of respect this Dealer has shown me is very telling of what they are like to deal with buying a car.By FAR The Shadiest Car Transaction I have Ever Had buying a car!Buyer Beware !
We drove 6 hours total to buy a vehicle and put a $500 deposit down over the phone to hold the vehicle for a day. When we got there the vehicle smelled awful like smoke and the tires were totally bald. The manager, Russell Hardenburgh, would not give the deposit back. There was nothing in the description about a smoke smell and the tires were supposed to be in good condition. I do not recommend this place and was VERY disappointed by the customer service.
DONT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!This was the worst car buying experience Ive ever had. From day one...the conversations were brushed over with my concerns. An oil drip that was detected before purchase, was explained to me to be happening only because the car had been sitting. Lie, and they knew it...I didnt. I purchased the $300 warranty to get the car repaired and the warranty was never honored. I asked for a refund of the warranty, since I dont live in Youngstown and only a shop of the companies choosing in that area was suggested to do the work, the refund never came and the 90 day timeframe was approaching.Initially, I too thought I had made a decent purchase and that the staff were up right, not the case. I dealt with weeks of expected return calls that never came, and wrestled with timing chain issues that should have never been.I dont recommend this company and its shiny fleet to anyone.BUYER BEWEAR.
This car dealership will take all your money then make endless excuses as to why they have not responded to you yet. You have managers going on vacations without properly informing people on their next steps. Inconsistent business with lack of care for their customers. Don’t even invest your time in this dealership!!! There are better ones that WONT steal your money and will EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE with you. Two things this dealership DOES NOT DO!
A true no haggle-no hassle dealership! Five stars goes to customer service, and to sales rep Marco for wonderful communication, and positive attitude throughout the whole car buying process. If you know what youre looking for, and youre on a budget, this may be the place to find a deal. They offer free Carfax on every car, and base their pricing on what the Carfax value is estimated at. Keep in mind, carfax prices are high end Kelley Blue Book prices.Danielle was quite helpful and accommodating, and they helped me get the car I wanted.The only major issue with the car was the rear shocks are bad and clunky, which she was up front about in email. I fortunately DIY so it was something I was willing to put the work in for.Would go again! Docking a star unfortunately for their attitude toward getting a credit pre-approval before setting up an appointment to look at a car. Definitely look at it first, any dealer will want to kinda hide any cosmetic faults on a used car.
They sold me a car before the banks approved my app. Didn’t like the car. Only had it for 3 days. Told the dealership the check engine light, Epc and check battery will come on. They tried for so long to tell me “no I’m crazy they won’t come on” but here is 5 days later the check engine come on. Tell me I can’t swop the car out for something in the same price rang or I would have to pay the principal on the car the banks didn’t approve so i have to pay $8967 I put 3500$ down the car was 8897$. The “made up interest”was 21% so now the car 11900$. Got a warranty on the car but can’t use it for 10 days, like tf. Don’t go here. Bad sales people. No car fax given to me. Only good thing is people will have a conversation with you while you’re waiting.
This is a very small dealership and they dont have extra sales services like airport pick up. The price is non-negotiable. Okay, I understood not to expect extras before I got there. They werent that friendly on the phone either.I flew in from NC and got a $75 uber ride to the dealership only to find that they have failed to disclose to me that the 2005 4runner that I came for had a bad rust damage. I opened the rear driver-side door to put my brief case in before the test drive and there it was. I didnt have to check the underbody to see the condition for the rest of the vehicle. They could have saved me the whole day of air travel and uber rideS.I walked out.I should have been more careful which is how iusually am but I ignored all the bad signs.Dont do what I did. Dont trust the photos from this dealership. Dont trust their No hassle, no haggle policy.
Best experience Ive ever had when buying a vehicle. No pressure and the convenience of having a vehicle delivered to your house or place where you reside was awesome. The actual transaction of buying the vehicle was so fast it took less than 30 minutes. I give them 5 stars for their car buying process and for their workers that show such class when delivering a car.
Searched for my previous negative review if this one isnt posted i will contact the BBB. Within the first two weeks I had to replaced all four brakes and rotors, Front left wheel bearing, Right Rear tire was cut it now needs a four wheel alignment and it required 3 days at the local dealership to have three recalls corrected. So far $4000.00 added to the price of the car since I drove it off the lot. I bought it sight unseen counted on the honesty of the dealership. So there you go.The warranty I purchased covered nothing.
Great dealership and loved the weekend hours. We are very pleased with our purchase. Only complaint is I wish they would have checked the headlight, it was a pain to fix that night and think it should have been done before handing the car over. It would have been a cheap fix and Im sure they had the tool needed. Regardless we would definitely return for future cars.
I have no idea where you people bought your car? M ayb on Mars?? My experience buying a used car at the Youngstown dealership was horrific. My saleswoman was Carol Stickel. The Toyota Avalon I bought was not serviced in any way shape or form. They didnt even fill the washer fluid!!!!!None of the fluids were topped off. No oil change was performed on the car. They sent me home with absolutely no refrigerant in the coolant bottle. BONE DRY !!!!!!!! I could have overheated as I drove all the way back to Cleveland!!!!!!!! Then the Air conditioning wasnt working. But Carol said on my first visit there among many, That she had to cool the vehicle down with the AC so I could test drive it. I could not tell if the air worked right or not. I wanted to believe it did cuz I liked the car so much and I was really excited. Carol deceived me it turns out and once they had my money, they could care less if I had ac or not. Thats just the way it is with used cars they said to me. No car prep at all. No car detailing inside or out. I would never buy a car again from these people. It was only after I threatened to take them to court that they addressed the AC issue. They have nice vehicles no doubt. but their service is a joke. And they really dont care. Make sure if you buy a car from them that you check everything and I mean everything. I highly doubt theyll leave this review on their site because its the gosh darn truth of what happened. BuyerBEWARE !!!!!!!!!! This all happened on June !0th, 2020.
They dont even deserve the one star! I have never been to a car lot & the salesman not come outside until going to 2 of the 3 locations of Yalcars. The salesmen were not helpful and didnt even attempt to do their job. Even though I found a car I love I do not want to buy it due to the service I experienced.
It was a true pleasure to deal with Yal cars. I bought a vehicle 2 years ago and still running great. I called the other day and was informed they give a returning customer discount which I was not expecting. I sent my nephew for a VW and they helped him out. Definitely a satisfied customer. Will be back soon!
My car buying experience could not have been easier, the staff was great and did not pressure me at all, once I made my decision I was driving home almost instantly. I did my homework before I came in and at the end I felt like I was taking advantage of them because of the great deal I got. Definitely a happy customer and I will be back!!
Jim and the team at Yalcars provided excellent service for my car buying experience. I bought the car out of state over the phone. Jim answered my questions in professional manner. If he didnt know the answer he tried to find out and would soon respond back to me with a answer. He told me that I would not be disappointed with my vehicle and he was right! Misleading and dishonest people. I gotten a 2010 dodge challenger From y’all cars in Austintown, Ohio in November 2019. I was very excited of course & went with my whole family for it becoming my dream car and my first car to make payments on. Carlo Told me & my family multiple times I have bumper-to-bumper coverage. So I left with no worries thinking every word was in good faith. In March the some lights came on & I ended up getting a car diagnostic & what happen needed a wheel bearing, Tire rod & rotors which came up to over 1000 dollars. I called the company that handles my warranty & I ended up being not covered and eventually paying out of pocket. At this time I’m calling yalcars to resolve situation & gotten the run around. Carlo Was either on vacation, sick leave , not in the office or on lunch . As the Manager it was more of the same. I’ve been calling from March 2020 to July 2020 & have not gotten ANYTHING resolved. They will listen to my voicemail before picking up the phone & as of 7/6/2020 I just go to voicemail now. It is imperative that you add me onFacebook Before you buy or make payments from yalcars and my name is Tommy Butler. If someone responds to this review and call me a lair or it’s a misunderstanding. I will SHOW YOU how they have been acting the past 5 months & have to listen yourself to where I was “ Miss lead“ In this situation . Now I have enough saved for a lawyer after waiting to resolve the situation I have no choice but to proceed with civil mattersAs of July 6, 2020No one has called me back until after I left the google review. Bumper-to-bumper on the warranty Was said and I can prove that easy. Worst experience ever. Jacob at the front desk does not have good customer service. Bearly spoke with us, told us by appointment and will check if a sales associate is available. Then proceed to call the bank and discuss his financial details. While the bank representative is on hold, Jacob walks which gave us time to see all the horrible reviews. The bank representative is speaker phone the whole time, and keeps repeating Jacob. Are you there? Not only bad customer service for us but bad customer service towards the bank as well. Yalsuck.
BUYER BEWARE. Bought SUV and when I took to mechanic to have inspected it had many many engine issues. When brought to managers attention I never received a phone call. When returning to dealership manager never came out of office. Had salesperson be a go between. What a coward. They do not back their product after only 2 months and less than 1,000 miles. If manager is not owner he she should be fired for customer service alone. Should of known better when finance manager took my SUV for ride and said dashboard lights were not working as they have been for me the 7yrs I owned and I found fuse was pulled out. Which I pushed back in. I traded a perfectly good running Escalade(which sold in a quickly) for a piece of cramp Infiniti QX 56. Only good note was Carol the salesperson was great throughout everything.
The sales representative was nice but the man Jacob at the front desk followed me to my car and asked for a hug very weird made me feel very uncomfortable. He said his back was hurting and he had to get surgery . The pain didnt stop him from following me . Its to bad they have a nice business but he is going to run people off.
I would like to give carol 10 stars she was the best sales person i have a dealt with !! i have bought and traded a lot cars. and this was the best customer service ever by far. it means a lot when you like they are really trying to get a great deal.. super great hospitality..great job Carol... p.s thanks for the pepsi
This is such a fantastic group of people at Yalcars. The owner personally helped me get into a beautiful vehicle that I never thought possible with low affordable payments.You could immediately tell they werent out just to get the money. They truly want to see you satisfied.Thank you Yalcars!
Said they would send parts, cv axles and power seat module. recieved the cv axles for the truck but been almost 2 months and still no seat module and nobody will reply now when i ask about the power seat module. piss poor buisness practice. not to mention the truck had recap tires one it. I had reviewed them once already they contacted me told me to remove the review and they would send the parts well only got half the parts. so here we are again.
This is probably one of the worst dealerships I have ever visited. Let me start by telling you about my experience visiting this junk lot. I went to look at a Cadillac ATS and was greeted by Duane. He has me sit at his desk in what is probably the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in. I filled out a form while he gets the car ready. He was gone quite a while so I can only assume the battery was dead. Once he comes back in he hands me the keys and tells me I have 20 mins and he wont be coming with me. I thought thats cool because usually you are accompanied by a sales man. However once I got in the vehicle it had absolutely no gas. So now I have to sit and wait another 20 mins while he takes it to the gas station (WHAT AN INCONVENIENCE). Finally hes back and hands me the keys again. Now keep in mind the car had been running for at least a half hour so it should be blasting me with heat right? Nope! The drivers side is blowing ice cold air while the passenger side is hot. I drove it about 5 mins and couldnt take it anymore. I walk in and tell him this and he checks with his manager. His manager informs me that since the car is on sale that I would have to pay to have it fixed. Now keep in mind this car is over 10 THOUSAND dollars. I am not expecting it to be perfect since obviously it is used, but NO HEAT COME ON! The owner would NOT work with me at all on fixing it even though I was ready to buy it that day. I will be sure to tell everyone I know NEVER deal with this place EVER. NO GAS AND BROKEN CARS!
Sorry about that. I meant to give these guys 4 stars. They were kind and courteous in all of our interactions. I contacted you about a Chevy Cruze probably 4 or 5 weeks ago but unfortunately the Cruze model is not large enough for my Boyfriend to see properly (hes rather tall). So that had nothing to do with YAL Cars at all. Certainly not their fault.
The car I had placed a “non refundable hold” on was NOT what was advertised. After leaving a deposit for what was advertised and what I was promised, that is not what I was presented with.I ran my credit with the company because the dealership told me the car I was looking at online was in pristine condition, minus a few cosmetic flaws. I drove 400+ miles to Youngstown, Ohio to do business with this car dealership and upon arriving, the vehicle had a dead battery, water damage in the top left A-Pillar, the trunk would not open, and the suspension would not function.After respectfully asking for a refund, I was told that they would not issue one.Save yourself a headache and search elsewhere.*Edit: Uploading validation from your sales representative who agreed with my frustrations. No false statements here, just another shotty dealership trying to create better PR.
What a worthless place did not know what kind of truck do they have I was told it was a stick shift they brought it out it was an automatic underneath those rest of your than one I have and it was liking fluent was told I couldnt take it for a test drive because it needed a safety inspection not recommended for someone who actually wants a vehicle
I bought Nissan Path Finder yesterday,engine lights on,abs on,underneath full rust,rear brakes all rust,passenger side front suspension broken,totally cheated by these people.I can’t ask anything to them because I bought this without any loan ;full payment.On second day this car break down,really cheating people.Normaly Nissan cars have some warning lights on,that I think but this really got bad experience from NO HAGGLE NO HASSLE company.They didn’t doing any maintenance,(that doing other used car dealers) before sale their inventories.I Just buy car on 9 th September 2020 and on 10 th is it breakdown and in workshop now,no warranty.
Terrible place, the lady in finance and sales named Carol, she is ignorant , disrespectful and even worse a liar!!!! She tried to privately send the bank text messages telling them what to do an how to handle loans! She accidently sent it to my phone and lost our business, she is a crook!!!!!!
Wasted a couple of hours to drive up to look at a car here...let me tell you, the pictures online look nothing like the car...car had 4 different brands of tires, 2 different colored calipers, car had rust on both sides, front bumper had cracks and peeling, large bubble on one tire, rims were gouged, front bumper did not line up with the driver panel, window tint has covered in bubbles...yet not a single thing was mentioned to me, and the pictures obviously did not show these flaws (minus front bumper) mind you I didnt see the inside nor drive it...but saw enough to steer away.

2022-03-16Everyone here made buying a car a great experience. Very nice and professional. The transaction was quick and easy. We had already picked out the 2013 Ford Escape online and Russ made sure it was there and ready for us. The process was smooth and we had the car we wanted within an hour. Thank you!!

2022-06-06My experience at YALCARS was wonderful! I had a great experience purchasing my first vehicle. The dealership had a fantastic selection of cars to choose from. Yigit was very helpful and responsive, which made the process easy and delightful! Everyone who works there was very pleasant and willing to work with us. I would definitely rate Yigit and YALCARS 16 stars if I could!

2022-05-21I recommend never purchase vehicle from here! Drove 3 hour’s to pick up vehicle .. appointment was at noon .. I didnt see the person I had appointment with for an hour and a half after I got there and my vehicle wasn’t even there… finally test drove the vehicle and lifted up hood and had loose car part on top of engine.. payed $10,000 for vehicle and now have to put another $2,000 into it because they sold it to me with blown u-joints and a blown transmission transfer case.. and that’s paying for used parts! .The staff Justin , Jacob . and manager Russel are no good.. but I will pray for them..

2022-05-23Extremely shady atmosphere. Purchased a car - got home and guess what? Just like other reviews - the engine light come on! Its clear they remove the engine light faults for your test drive as many reviews show! They will increase the price of the car from the listing too! Beware of your credit score as these guys run over 15 checks which has a huge impact! SCAM!

2022-06-05Very nice customer service... However... Just sent us off the lot with the gas on E... Barely made it home... Also had it for a day and the change oil light came on... It just seems like basic stuff a dealer should take care of before we drive off the lot... Especially for a van over $25,000... Couldnt even give us a tank of gas

2022-07-17I’m not one to write bad reviews but we went there to look at a car that i was told didn’t have any imperfections. test drive the car and luckily i brought my boyfriend who knows way more about cars and brought up how beat the car was. I initially thought Ross was quite rude and condescending, and when i was making an appointment with him he just didn’t seem interested like you should with a potential customer. then when we returned from the test drive and my boyfriend brought up the problems with it he didn’t have anything to say, guessing he knew we weren’t going to buy it once we got a good look at it. he just clicked around on his computer as we spoke and said “mhm”. i told him i would keep in touch and he just handed me his business car and said “have a good day.” extremely rude and as someone who works at a car dealership i know that this is not how you treat customers when you’re trying to sell a car. luckily i had another appointment that day with some amazing people at nissan streetsboro and bought a car that was around the same price and in wayyyy better condition. no shady salespeople either. just isn’t how you treat people when you’re trying to make a sale! don’t recommend buying a car from here as it seems shady anyway, at least not from ross as i thought he was rude.

2021-11-17I co-signed on a car from here. This company promised a great car with a great warranty. They were very convincing and promised us satisfaction. I knew it was sketchy but we gave them a try. I normally just buy new but my husband wanted an Audi. The check engine light turned on right after purchasing while driving home. Since, the car quickly declined and deteriorated. I do not recommend this place to anyone. We have already sold the car purchased from here and lost money on this entire situation with this company. If you’re seeking a used car, go someplace with certified used at a reputable dealership.
