Positive: The location was perfect, area was nice, and the front desk staff was friendly. Negative: Our shower was filthy, had built up mildew and mold. We were offered two other rooms throughout our stay and the showers were equally disgusting. They did clean our shower, but it was still unacceptable. We purchased cleaning supplies and cleaned it.
Nicest, thoughtful staff ever!!Had to stay at the handicapped room for a few days because I broke my ankle while moving from Ohio to Tahoe 😁Everything was super clean. The room is xtra large with a separate large sitting room.Thank you Wyndham. We totally appreciate your hospitality

Positive: We stayed in this hotel often when it was Cambria. We were a little uncertain that it might have changed when Wyndham took it over. But it is still pretty much the same. Spacious and clean rooms. Those are the important things. Negative: The person at the desk said breakfast was a sack grab and go breakfast. But as we checked out, we saw that it was a continental breakfast. We would have liked to know that ahead of time.
Positive: Clean, seemed to be a newer hotel Negative: Tv in exercise room did not wot, nor did the monitors on the treadmills. Clock wAs broken and no water in hot tub. The breakfast was terrible, wife has gluten-free diet. There was a hard orange she could eat

Hotel is beautiful on the outside and inside. We stayed here for our wedding and the photographer was able to get great shots. Only complaints were the showers not having legit doors or the glass not being down farther. Water was all over the bathroom floor afterwards due to our height. The breakfast was disappointing as well. Limited options and not much to fill my pregnant sister up. We drove to a nearby Panera. We also smelled what was something like an electrical fire in our room and when we called down to the front desk they said maintenance would be up but it took him a while. The smell dissipated but it made us nervous and once maintenance came he just said it could be anything and took the phone out/unplugged the lamp near the smell.
Horrible customer service! Horrible management. I reserved a room through a 3rd party website 5 months in advance. Arrived at the hotel and they were booked full. We received the worst room they had. Looked nothing like the pictures. The management literally stood at the front desk and argued with me in front of other guest! Will never stay here again. Advertising a tower suite and giving you a room from the 70s with a plastic shower chair in the tub!!
Positive: Neat and clean. Negative: One of the beds was broken and tilting and unusable, no water pressure in the shower. (Hopefully these will be repaired after we reported the issues). Wish the breakfast would include plain yogurt.
Positive: Location, bed slept very well, plenty of pillows. Negative: Although my room was non-smoking, I could smell the residue of past cigarette smoke. Coffee in lobby was NOT good.

I booked this room for two days and was not informed that the room was cleaned “by request only” due to short staff. Staff must really be short because apparently my sheets were not changed from the last guest, because i found a long piece of blonde hair in my bed. Lastly, my room was on the first floor and water is leaking into the room from the rain (near the heater). When I called the front desk, there was no apology but when I told her I wouldn’t be leaving a good review, she replied (politely), “That’s fine.” Staff was very friendly, but this place definitely needs some work. I almost don’t want to get back into my unmade bed.
We found a mushroom growing by our toilet when we woke up Saturday (May 7th) morning. IT wasnt there when we went to bed, what kind of mushrooms grow 3 overnight... probably not the healthy kind... Stay away from this place.

Surprisingly empty, very clean, terrific staff, good location, with a couple restaurants in walking distance, and lots of suburban stores nearby and close to the interstate, about 25 minutes from downtown Cleveland. Negative: The hot tub wasnt working and the pool a bit cold but otherwise, everything was terrific.

Yeah, its ok. We stayed there twice in under 10 days and actual got assigned the same room both times. Located around several decent restaurants and a Costco, its a good location. However, the absolute underwhelming Breakfast of Amazing Disappointment really sucked hardcore. How can you put so little effort into it? Well, congrats you excelled at it.

Weve stayed many times and had a great experience. This last stay, not so much. $250ea for 2 queen rooms. The carpet in one had been cut out and half replaced. There was a giant redish stain on the floor. The couch had so many stains, we put a blanket on it to sit down.The second room nothing worked. Coffee machine. Nothing for the breakfast except for a muffin. To bad,its a nice convenient location for us.Probably wont be back.
Not terrible, but not a great value for the cost. Convenient location close to restaurants and shops. Beds are comfortable and room was clean. Bathroom was standard, but toilet paper and tissues were rough. TVs are on the smaller side and unable to connect to streaming services. Our room was located at the back of the building, close to loading docks which were loud. It was fine I guess, but I wouldnt stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and the hotel staff were very Friendly and helpful. They are the only hotel that has ever texted me asking of there was anything they could do to improve our stay and asking us if we needed anything. I advised we needed a couple of things to replenish the room while we were out and they took care of it immediately. The pool was nice. The bathrooms are very roomy. The beds were comfortable. 10/10 I would definitely stay here again. We said when we travel, we will look for the cambria brand from now on.

Upon arrival the entrance was clean. The young lady checking us in was very kind. We got our key card and thinking there was a breakfast for $199 King room we where told no because Monday thru Friday they have servers, but not weekends. Then we got to the room... it looked clean until I went to open the refrigerator door and grabbed this wonderful washcloth full of dirt and.....? Then after I turned the light on, in the sitting area, where the couch is, there was a white trail across the carpet. 🙅♀️🤦♀️ If I can see, so can the cleaning crew!

Very nice and open floor plan, we got a king size room and it was laid out with a second room with a 2nd tv and the bed was fantastic and it came with 6 pillows and 2 smaller pillows. The experience was great! The customer service was great! I really wish the pool and the hot tub was open but due to covid they were closed. There gym was open so my husband and I spent about an hour in there. Each machine had a tv on it but I couldnt figure out how to operate it. They had wipes to wipe down the things we used. Overall, I had a good experience and would stay there again.
As soon as we walked in, the front desk staff informed us the pool was booked. No hello how are you. Just so you know, the pool is booked. My husband looked at me and ask, how about tomorrow? The woman at the desk briskly asked if we were staying two nights. When we said we here not, she informed us there was nothing before checkout. She was also sort 9f dismissive when she asked if we had used the deal because we booked under a discounted rate. Maybe she was having an off day, but it was sort of rude.The room itself was ok. The pillows were soft, the bed not as much. But the really weird thing was the shower. It was the whole side of the bathroom, which was nice. But there was a half glass wall near the shower head and that was it. It probably makes for easy cleaning, but it makes for a cold shower because there is no door. Youre just standing sort of exposed. If youve got kids with you, they arent able to use the bathroom while you are in there unless your family is very comfortable with seeing each other naked. I took a picture it was so odd.
Lets say 3.5 stars. We stayed at the Cambria because it was highly rated and supposedly had a great breakfast (not included). It was our first night away in a while, so we were hoping for a quiet night out together. Unfortunately there was a large group of children booked there the same night. I get it, not the hotels fault, I cant hold that against them. There were a number of minor issues with noise and thin walls/ceilings, but I cant fully blame the hotel for that either. The issues we did have were that there were a number of people walking around without masks on, even while they were speaking to staff at the front desk. I would also expect that hotel staff would require children to be supervised after a certain hour. Pool time had to be scheduled at the front desk, and all slots were full. Had we known about this ahead of check in we would have reserved a spot. We also didnt find out until check in that the breakfast was no longer available (shut down due to Covid). Honestly, the rooms were clean and nice, but not any nicer than what I would expect from a slightly lower cost option. I would stay here again, but only if I found a better rate on the room, and after Covid is over.

Just came home from a weekend staying at the Cambria. This is the hotel we try to stay at because it is located by family and just a great location. Upon arriving we were told of the Covid rules which I understand and are happy to follow. The restaurant is closed there is no breakfast, the bar is closed no jacuzzi and to swim in the pool you must make reservations. The part which I don’t understand is why am I paying the same price or higher as I was when all of these amenities were all open? There is no daily housecleaning but no price adjustment? I understand the need to keep hotel guest and your staff safe, but I think you need to adjust your prices! The staff are always very friendly but that is the extent, just when you check in, nothing special after that, just a room to stay in.
Absolutely delightful. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. All the amenities you could need.But the best part was the staff. At every turn they were so nice and accommodating. Tina at the front desk really impressed me and set such a nice mood for our stay. We also enjoyed Kelly at the bar, and the nice lady with brown curly hair who take care of our breakfast Saturday morning. She was more than happy to go above and beyond and get us everything we needed, without us even needing to ask. Just a really nice stay.
Great great great!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived with our 4 little kids the first thing we noticed was remote for tv did not work. I called the front desk and was told they would let someone know I hung up and said well...i dont think they will handle it any time soon. I was wrong.. less than 5 minutes later maintenance came to the door. Brought extra batteries and a back up remote. Remote not working was not a big deal but I was impressed with how quickly they responded to something so small. When we first came in the room my 4 yr old said whats that smell? My 6 year old said it is amazing!! Room smelled fresh and clean. Looked very clean also. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good and had a nice selection. We didnt make it to the pool unfortunately because one of the kids came down ill during our stay. Plenty of parking and restaurants in walking distance. We will def. stay there again if we are in the area.

Very rude staff! Would not recommend! Employee encouraged us to cancel our reservation (after we paid for it online through their official website) because we did not want to repay for it with a mayor credit card (which is what they wanted us to do & then get a refund a couple days later) but why accept our debit card payment to begin with? And then try to switch payment method last minute? It’s like were paying for the room twice (at the moment) because of their lack of organization. This place is basically a mess. Very unorganized! Avoid at all costs! Worst customer service I’ve gotten ever.
Rooms were amazingly clean. I felt very comfortable in my room. Beds were actually conformable. Refrigerator and microwave in the room. I never heard nose from other rooms or the hallway. Staff was kind and friendly. Pool was nice. Very reasonable priced. Also they had church on Sunday! That was an awesome treat!

Checked in today into the jacuzzi room and the cleanliness of the room was horrible. Some type of red stains and spots on the bed sheets, mattress very stained. The floor was completely wet with red liquid of some sort all on the carpet.My money was refunded because there were no other jacuzzi rooms available.I can’t believe they gave me a room like that in the first place .
The pool is extremely small. The food in the bar is ridiculously expensive. The rooms appear clean. They ran out of towels. What hotel runs out of towels???? The customer service is poor! Ive stayed at lesser hotels and had much better experiences. I will not return. Also the hot tub doesnt appear to work correctly.

Exquisite quality. Treated like a VIP as soon as we checked in; as a Choice Privilege member we received a free drink coupon to use at the Bar. Restaurant and Bar served amazing food, with great flavors and choice of drinks. Indoor pool and sauna looked inviting, but we did not try that. 24 hour fitness room and guest laundry area on site. Great amenities, friendly and very helpful staff. Our Accessible King Suite was the embodiment of comfort and luxury. I would highly recommend to anyone. As a side note, it does appear to be kid friendly. Many families were seen here. No complaints.
Front desk check in clerk Lisa was accomodating and got me situated. ROOMS ARE REALLY NICE. CLEAN AND EVERYTHING IS SEALED ie. Room door remote control , till you open it. Work out room 24/7. No compliment breakfast however.
We came in late and they were so nice. The woman behind the front desk covered a drink at the bar and breakfast for both of us. The room was very clean, split living area was comfy and the bed was just amazing. Super king size, all the needed channels. Very comfy. Will come again.
Staff and services were great. Room was wonderful and had character, felt cozy. I arrived and was notified that I was the guest of the day and received a voucher for a free meal and also received a free drink for being a choice rewards member. Very good experience and will definitely be returning.
This is a very nice hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly, the facilities were clean and very nice. The room itself was equally nice. It was large with two televisions, plenty of seating (which most hotels lack), a comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom with a large shower. I give this hotel five stars. Its nice, its clean and its quiet. Even though I believe it deserves five stars, there are two things that I would like to see changed. #1) Take the carpet out of the room. Vacuuming carpet does not make it clean. We had stayed in a new hotel just a few nights ago that did not have carpet in the room. It had a beautiful tiled floor and it made the room feel and look cleaner and fresher. Tile floors can be kept much cleaner than a carpeted floor and they dont hold odors. #2) Include a free breakfast in the price of the room. They charge $9.95 per person for a small breakfast buffet. There were not many people taking advantage of it. They should add a few dollars to the room prices and provide a free breakfast.One last thing...the hotel is located in a nice area. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice hotel.
Many reviewers complain about the extra fee for breakfast. However, there are advantages: breakfast room is not crowded with pushy guests and screaming kids. The food quality is (not much but still) somewhat better in a regular choice branded hotels.HOWEVER, you really win if you notice that well hidden breakfast order card on your table. You can get a custom-made omelet at no extra cost, and they are quite good. Again, the order card is well hidden and very few people realize it is there.
This place is very nice, very clean and also very quiet. I stayed there on a recent trip to Ohio. I had the flu, and if you have to lay in a hotel bed for a few days, I was pleased it was at a great hotel. The room was a big suite, and although I had expected a much nicer, and more comfortable bed, for a short stay this place is worth it.
Stayed here for a girls weekend. Loved the hotel, its clean and smells good. The rooms have a great layout and the beds are very comfortable. Theres a bar and a very nice patio with a fire pit. Its right behind Bar 145, I was worried about the noise from the live band, it was very loud outside, but no worries couldnt hear a thing. The only reason for 4 stars is breakfast is not included, and the rooms are on the pricey side so they could include a breakfast. They do have a full service restaurant with room service.
Extremely nice hotel and friendly people. The damn Covid restrictions are the main issue we had. Required to schedule a window to use the pool (hot tub was closed) and it was almost impossible to get an extra wash cloth.
Stayed here for a wedding. Hotel is super modern and the rooms have a great layout with separate bedroom and living room areas. Everything also seemed pretty clean and they have a nice pool and gym. Only complaint is breakfast is not included.
The customer service with Tina is horrible. Anyone traveling from out of state please be careful! She then realized how horrible she treated us that she attempted to call us to invite us back to the hotel. Too late. Yuck. I would never treat anyone the way Tina treated us. It’s an embarrassment to the hotel business. Out of state corporate travel but this hotel probably doesn’t want the business. P.S. the hotel was very empty they’re probably doing very bad with business with customer service like that. To Paul the GM, please train Tina or she’ll kill your business!!!
Very pleasant check-in with a choice between two floors. The room was amazing to say the least and was very clean. I did go to the in house bar for my free drink with check-in and had a decent experience, the food and drink were a little on the pricey side with most sandwiches being around $13-$16 and cocktails running about the same. The only snag so to speak is when I went to check out there was no one at the desk so I waited a good ten minutes until someone appeared from the back. Overall I would definitely stay again
Great place to stay. Wonderful staff, very nice and accommodating. Food in the restaurant/bar is actually good but, at times, could take a while before you receive your food. But, i absolutely love this hotel!! It was just nice to be there and be comfortable in a great environment.
This Hotel is centrally located in Avon, Ohio with great dining and shopping options. The rooms are clean with firm mattresses. The amenities, dining, in the hotel are closed due to the pandemic. The pool is open but guests must schedule their time in advance for use.
This is our second time staying here over the last two years. Its a great stopping point when we drive from MA to IL. The hotel is new, clean and very nice. Everyone room is a suite that features a great bathroom, and sitting area. There is a small fridge, coffee machine and microwave. Toiletries are bath and body brand. The gym is impressive. The pool is clean. They serve breakfast and have a take away pantry shop for quick grabs. If you sign up for their rewards program, you receive a coupon for a free drink that can be used at their lobby bar or the grab and go pantry. The staff at the front desk are always extremely friendly and helpful. There are a decent number of dining options around the hotel for dinner, and there is a Starbucks on your way back to the highway when you depart!
Very friendly front desk staff, however, Black mold was all over the A/C unit in our room discovered 1 hour after we checked in (half hour after we put our baby to sleep for the night). Brought it to the attention of mngmnt but the hotel was full so they couldnt switch us rooms nor did they offer any kind of credit/refund. They had a cleaning lady come into our room the next day who wiped it off leaving black mold smear marks across the vent cover. Not a good situation whatsoever especially with a baby in the room.
This is a great hotel, we came to Ohio to check out schools for my son, and when we arrived in the city of Avon it was breathtaking, so beautiful. The hotel is amazingly big and beautiful as well. The staff was great so helpful and friendly everything you would want from a hotel experience and more. I really loved the fact that they had this great way of greeting guests and the detox water (lemon water) was so refreshing. The room exceeded our expectations and was so comfortable and we really just enjoyed our stay there. My only regret was we had to leave as our business in Ohio was over. I hope that there will be more of these hotels on the west coast. Another great amenity is that you didnt have to pay to park your car at the hotel you are staying at I find that to be so ridiculous when hotels know you have to get to the hotel somehow. Thank You so much Cambria Team for such a great experience and I do hope other hotels could be more like you, and we would definitely stay at any of your hotels when we travel again. If I could give a higher rating than a five I would this hotel is amazing.

Hotel was nice and clean. Lots of retail close by for shopping or food. Indoor pool and a nice small gym with treadmill, elliptical and weights. Breakfast was not included. $10 per head breakfast, which is a small buffet style which is usually included with other choice hotels.
Positive: It was SO quiet! No noise from the hallway, adjacent doors, etc... That alone sets it apart from other similarly priced hotels.

Great rooms and staff. Its clean, well appointed, there are plenty of amenities. Among them, a bar open until midnight, an indoor pool, and more.This is a great place for wheelchair bound folks.
Clean room. Plentiful amenities, courteous staff. Cambria Hotel is well worth the money. About a 50 minute drive from Cedar Point, you pay almost 100 bucks less a night than comparable hotels near the park which I consider a good trade-off. You have to pay separately for access to the breakfast bar but it is more than worth it. There are plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance from the hotel as well! The only complaint was that the hot tub was out of order. For the cheap price of an overnight stay Cambria Hotel is excellent and I sincerely doubt you will be disappointed. The myriad good reviews are not wrong.
I had accidentally booked this hotel for a month in advance and didnt realize it until I arrived. The front desk was really helpful with helping me with this problem and I was even able to switch to a better room. The room was a really good size, really clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel is in a great location, theres literally places to eat and shop right outside. They have a nice clean heated pool and a hot tub. When it comes to the staff, from the greeters to houskeeping everyone Ive met is really nice and polite. The rooms have a pretty modern design, and theyre really cute too. The only thing i wasnt too fond of is how dim the bathroom lights are haha.
Great place..Antique stores are amazing!The Melt Bar and Grilled is in the grounds, so good! The only issue is lack of internet TV and TV sizes for our small suite.
Not sure how old this place is, but it seems pretty new. Beds are very comfortable. I havent eaten at the in house restaurant, but it smells GREAT. All employees I have spoken with have been very polite and helpful, even added an extra night to my reservation within about a minute, which included reseting my room key. If work brings me back to the Avon area, Ill definitely be staying here again.
This was by far the best experience weve ever had at a hotel. The staff was extremely friendly!!! The room was fantastic! The pool and exercise rooms were Amazing! Thank you for such an amazing time! We will only stay at Cambria hotels for now.
So far I give this hotel 5 stars. We have yet to stay the night but I am hopeful the 5 star rating will continue until we check out. We ended up here after a reservation at another hotel in town fell through after we found a bed bug under the mattress while inspecting at check in. Needless to say we were NOT staying there! We came here and the staff was nice enough to allow us to see and inspect the room before finalizing our payment at check in (just Incase) after what had just happened. Knock on wood, we haven’t seen anything here, and they threw in an extra drink voucher for us!
Nice size room, beds were perfect, clean bathroom with open shower, EXTREMELY friendly desk clerks were very accommodating, several close restaurants of all kinds and price points, Costco, Menards, Lowes, Home Depot and Walmart nearby.
No warm breakfast yet. Restaurant is still closed.

Very nice hotel need to offer complementare breakfast. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Internet was not working and cords were broken for Internet plug ins. Gym was very nice all equipment was working and towels for workout was nice need spray bottles for cleaning equipment when done.

Loved staying at this hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful! I enjoyed their breakfast. The hotel was super clean and it felt like the place was brand new/remodeled. You can tell by the smell.
Clean and very comfortable. The beds were so nice you couldnt feel the person next you move or get out. Pool was very warm hot tub just right too.

Good event staff for our private party in a conference room, nice hotel rooms. Until we were moved to a smaller handicap room because the animals on the 4th floor wouldnt stop running up and down the hall at 1am, and the management wouldnt do anything about it. Thats cool though, Ill just move this bathing chair out of the shower and try not to stumble over it when Im done. I hope the dozen+ guests they allowed to pile into a room or two (not that they stayed in their rooms, the hallway being a common area/rec room), that verbally abused anybody who asked them to keep it down have a great night. Since that seems to be the hotels priority.Update- I added stars for the excellent customer service regarding the 2am relocation the next morning.
My wife and I really like this place.It is just the right distance from home for us to hit on the way West and then on the way back home when we are taking a leisurely road trip in that direction.It is quite comfortable, good food, and we usually play some billiards before retiring.Like the fresh baked cookies, too.
Nice place, very friendly staff. Location is a bit out of the way and you definitely need a car to get to civilisation. Couple of restaurants nearby but one is a Melt which is not good. I stayed for work so dont have a view on the pricing.

This hotel was so nice! Staff was super sweet and helpful. Room was really clean and really nice!! The outside patio is great on a nice night. I wish all hotels were like this! Honestly, one of the best places I have ever stayed!!!!
Everything there was nice. The place was clean, the room was spacious, the soaps/shampoos good quality, and the hotel bars food was good. I stay at hotels often, and this was definitely upper echelon, particularly for the price. If the price point stays the same, Ill definitely stay there again next time Im in the area.
I had a great stay! The rooms are nice and clean 🧽.The staff are nice 👍🏽. But the only thing is that the breakfast is 10.00...but the other hotels have free breakfast! But over all it’s great

Stayed here overnight after a work event. The staff was friendly, and the bar served a fantastic Manhattan! Room was clean and comfortable, just wish that the breakfast was included. Still a great value for the money!
Staff is exceptional and the hotel is extremely clean and accommodating. The pool/hot tub, 24 hour coffee bar, restaurant, room service, workout room (very nice), and business center/lobby with fireplace are all nice perks!

Cheap in price but not in space or quality. One of my favorite hotels. The staff always seem to go out of its way to help. Breakfast is good even when they charge $10/ea for the buffet. Bar area has a nice sitting area with a firetable for smokers just past all the glass deck area, if you smoke. Hottub as well as an indoor pool to relax in after you hit the on site gym.The hottub room is so well priced and the living room is spacious. 3 LCD TVs so even if you cant agree on a show with your spouse you can just choose another TV. And the big glass shower is awesome!!The Melt makes great drinks and the grilled cheeses are on steroids. Share the same parking lot so all you have to do is walk from your room.Everything is inreal close proximity for shopping (Duluth Trading, World Market, strip mall...), eating (Barry Bagels-Breakfast, Longhorn - Dinner...etc. and some nightlife (Main Event, Dave and Busters).Cleveland Zoo, Hard Rock, Walburgers, Jack Casino is close and the Stadiums.
We stay in the Cleveland area about once a year and everytime I look for hotels the Cambria pops up but it was a little more expensive than the others so I didnt pay much attention well this time around everything else was booked so I paid the extra money for the Cambria and let me tell you I will be going back every year now Staff is great rooms are awesome full bar in the lobby (and they know how to make an old fashioned) restaurant in the lobby three restaurants in an ice cream shop in the parking lot its everything you could want we got there late and didnt experience everything they had to offer but we will get there early next year. Dont let a few extra dollars deter you give it a shot and youll be happy like I was!
Nice modern hotel. Very open common area on the first floor with full service bar, pool table, lounge area, computers, fireplace to name a few. Even a little store area to buy a snackI like the room set up; one king bed, a desk w/ office chair in the middle and a couch with a chase lounge. Two televisions and a small area to prepare drinks and food.. microwave and refrigerator, coffee maker too! They certainly thought of all the comforts of home!I do think its a little pricey, luckily I got the room for $116 + tax.
Excellent hotel. I booked my King Suite for $75.00 a night. The rooms were on par with Marriott and Hilton. Breakfast was pay, but it was delicious. I strongly recommend this place, and intend on staying again.

Staff is horrible. They treat their customers with disgust. They like to degrade their customers. It’s a horrible approach to customer service. Please stay away!!!! Hotel looks disgusting and dirty. Every thing was great. But the hot tub was not working and the bar was closed. I go to hotels just for those two things most of the time.

We were thrilled to discover the Cambria Hotel when we relocated to the area. Wed stayed at other local hotels in the area in the past and had bad experiences. The Cambria Hotel was new, clean, and the staff were helpful and pleasant. We had family come into town for a wedding and shower this was the only hotel I recommended!

Great hotel with all the amenities that you need plus a hot tub and a pool. However, breakfast is not provided and you paid $10 to get the same breakfast the other hotels give you for free. The rooms were really nice and it was a wrong with money
Room was very nice. We had a suite. The shower floor was dirty. It was very black from being dirty. On our way out we stopped at the bar for a drink and waited for about 10 minutes. The bartender was trying to make drinks for two customers. Took an awful lot of time. It looked like he wasnt sure how to bartend. After 10 min of no acknowledgement we left.
Comfortable, clean, quiet and spacious. I can understand why the place has such wonderful ratings. Never stayed at Cambria before, but they will be at the top of my list of places to stay in the future.
King size bed was very comfortable with nice pillows. Very quiet on third floor. Hotel bar had a few different craft beers in bottles (mostly Great Lakes and Fat Heads) and Head Hunter IPA on draught. Fire pits on patios were great!
We were visiting an out-of-town friend and stopped by for some drinks and some dinner in their bar/ restaurant. This was at 6 or 7 p.m. and they had already been out of one of their specials. We ordered some substitution and all of our plates were pretty unspectacular. The bartender was friendly and gave us our drinks no problem. We were just not very satisfied with the food. I would have rather gone to Piccolos or eating ice cream at Mitchells.
The hotel was clean. The staff was amazing. We went on a night that there was NO other room available in the hotel at all. We ran into a problem with the room, they fixed it the best they could and when we went to check out in the morning we were told our room was free!!!! We will stay there again without a doubt! Highly recommend this hotel. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is just because of the problem we had.
Clean .No pool no warnings Of pool failure. Family get together for the holliday.We picked this place for a pool for kids. free style breakfast buffett 10 each. But it was clean and quite. I would have expected a break of some kind.
First, the good:-The breakfast buffet is pretty good. $10 is a bit much for 6 daily items, but at least they taste good.-The pool/hot tub are open til midnight-Beds and pillows are very comfortable-Free cookies and coffeeNow, the bad:-There are no vending machines NONE. To make things worse, a 20 oz bottle of coke costs $3!!! We went out and got a 12 pack of Pepsi for $4.-We stayed here for a week and the ice machine was broke every day we were here.-Room service was very noisy on some days. Theyd keep the lock out on the door so they didnt have to unlock it each time they went back to their cart. I know, because I watched through the peep hole. It was SO ANNOYING. I could hear it for an hour on the days they were noisy.The clock in the pool, like the ice machine, was broken every day we were here. How hard is it to set it up? It was impossible to keep track of time.For $200 a night a Suite, I expected more. Having no vending machines anywhere really ticked me off though. Stop trying to rip off customers,

Brand new building recently built. Hospitable and friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Indoor pool and Jacuzzi. Lots of delicious eateries walking distance. You have to try the local ice cream shop Mitchells. Home made.
I am particular about the cleanliness of my hotel rooms. At one point last night after having a bout of food poisoning I slept on my hotel bathroom floor that is how clean this hotel room was.

If youre ever in need of a hotel in the Avon area definitely come to the cambric hotel. Weve stayed here multiple times for work and every time it was great. They are clean and friendly every time. Tonight I met a guy named Eric that was working the bar and he was extremely friendly, helpful and was a people person. On multiple occasions he would engage in conversation and ask everyones name which was nice. I didnt catch the front counter workers names but they were also great!
Booked through Priceline specifically a king suite with whirlpool upon checking in I asked the front desk customer service representative to make sure we were placed in the correct room we booked she proceeded to tell me none were available and if I wanted a room with a whirlpool Ive should have booked weeks in advance and should have known better Really

Great hotel. Stayed a few days for a Cleveland wedding. Spacious rooms, ample parking, good food adjacent to the hotel. Cleveland just a 15 minute trip down the expressway. Great Wolfgang Puck coffee on their coffee bar. Never had it before. He doesnt puck around with hiscoffee.
Super clean quiet and 1 1/2 yrs old ! Best deal in town for what u get. Book online to get better rate I got king bed for 2 on Sunday night $115 w tax would stay here again. Restaurant in hotel and in parking lot for great burgers I suggest the restaurant next door.
This place is so new and beautiful. The only thing I didnt like was how short my stay was. Its very well setup, very clean, upscale fixtures. Just a wonderful experience.

This is a nice new hotel, still has the new hotel smell to it! Nice friendly staff spacious rooms, decent wifi and nice selection of channels. Restaurant food has been very good(only had dinner not breakfast).

Excellent stay. Top notch dramatic modern decor. On site bar with free coupon for free drink upon check in. On site lite restaurant with 2 or 3 independent restaurants sharing same parking lot. Onsite gym, pool, hot tub for guest use....wifi has no password at the time of this posting. Convienentlly located 1/2 mile off I-90 for easy in and out

Very bad customer service, the front desk lady was very unprofessional and rude. Also I asked for their names to file a complaint and they gave out fake names. Worst hotel I’ve ever been to, I’ve never had problems with any hotels that I’ve been to. Front desk lady wasn’t wearing a mask as well, she was also cussing at me while there where other people and kids at the hotel. I well never stay at this hotel again and will definitely not recommend for anyone to stay.
The rooms were nice and the service was pretty good.. had breakfast there most mornings of my stay and it was not bad.. just wish the bar would stay open until 2..
Nice hotel conveniently located near highways to Cleveland and Oberlin (my destination).The staff are sincerely friendly and helpful.Rooms are clean, up to date, and spacious.Plenty of shopping and dining close by.
This is a nice hotel, however, our stay in room 304 left me with very little sleep. There was a knocking noise every 3 -4 minutes that just barely woke me up at first but then a loud knock in the middle of the night woke me up and then I was unable to fall back asleep because of the knocking. My husband was able to sleep though it, otherwise I would have requested to change rooms. At check out, upon mentioning the reason that I didnt get much sleep, the response was sorry, I will have maintenance look at it.

Hotel is great, location is easy to get to where I am training and amenities are nice. Gym is quiet, decent equipment. Food is pretty generic for dinner but overall great place.

Loved the Cambria, all the staff were fantastic. Was here for training, great place to eat, loved the tacos, and the craft beers were fantastic also. Location was central and easy to find.
While the stay was okay, they charged $500+ damages to my family which we did not do. After hours on the phone and rude customer service we were refunded the money, but not a single apology. Mistakes happen, but not owning up to mistakes is unacceptable.
The location was easy to get to and close to main roads. The room was amazingly clean and spacious. Their breakfast buffet was tasty. The hotel was overall very clean.

Nice property kind of weak in the people department. I had an issue with my reservation being cancelled arbitrarily. Then today I had strangers enter my room when I had already extended my stay by a day.
Real friendly staff the house keeping went out of their way with extra towels , clean facility. It was only 3 years old and theres a bar on the 1st floor with outdoor seating.

I was starting a new position in Avon Lake so the location was great. The desk staff was helpful and guiding me toward restaurants. The rooms were clean and at that time new. All in all, a great experience.

2022-04-01Positive: Everything was modern, updated, and clean. The room was spacious, with a separate sitting area and sleeping area. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Negative: I did not like that the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner did not smell great, and were in large bottles on the shower wall, to share with other guests, rather than the typical new individual size bottles that are normally provided at hotels.

2022-03-20Positive: Hotel staff was nice. Unexpected free ¿grab and go¿ breakfast. Children enjoyed the small but nice pool. Negative: For a suite, the TV in the ¿living room¿ was really small. Certainly not a deal breaker, but if you want to relax and watch a movie, you¿ll be disappointed. Couch didn¿t feel the cleanest.

2022-06-15Positive: Very neat and clean. I would definitely stay there again. Negative: The faucet on the hot tub was loose. Looks like they tried to glue it back on and it didnt hold. Also, it took forever to fill the hot tub up.

2022-05-24The staff was amazing, the pool area was nice. The room appeared very clean. Unfortunately, they did have bed bugs. The staff did accommodate us by drying our bags with high heat to make sure we didnt take anything home. Had they not had bed bugs I would stay again.

2022-08-15The rooms here are super nice. I especially liked the well designed shower with the high-flow showerhead. You could wash a moose in that thing.The mattress was nice and firm, and the pillows werent so soft that they envelop your head and heat up your ears. Our room was equipped with a fridge.Theres a small gym with some dumbbells and the typical cardio equipment. Not much to offer for serious lifters.The pool seemed to be closed or something while we were there. That may have been a pandemic thing.Breakfast is scant. There was some cereal and yogurt. But the coffee was actually excellent. Its a bit of a drive to get breakfast from here.

2022-06-19Positive: The beds are great! Rooms and common areas are clean, fridge and microwavetoo. Patio area outside in back could use attention but was nice for eating takeout instead of in room. Negative: It was full that night so they put someone on the top(4th) for above us at 10 pm who paced loudly doing who knows what for over an hour, then did the same thing at 7. If I check in early I would ask to be put on the top floor, bc the floors are creaky!

2022-03-12Stayed one night kept telling me I had a credit card on file that wasn’t mine. The breakfast bar was horrible not hot breakfast as advertised and people in room next to us were super loud tried calling front desk no answer just ringing. Hot tub was broke and there breakfast was better during the pandemic than it is now at least it was hot and fresh then. Now they wanna give you teddy grahams and apple sauce and no flavor cereal. Will not be staying again in the future

2022-07-29This is supposed to be a higher quality hotel and we paid a premium rate for the room. The lobby and seating areas were nice, but our room had a broken door to the bathroom (wouldnt shut), a broken closet door that made it hard to get in and out of the bed, and a couch that was broken. There were other minor issues like frayed towels. Generally, it did not seem well maintained. I made a list to turn in at the front desk as we checked out. There was no apology for the condition of the room. The desk staff just nodded as if she had heard this type of issue before. Clearly, this was not a well kept hotel.

2022-04-03Next to a lot of places, and the building and rooms are really nice. Nice workout room and good breakfast... The pool is nice... The only thing tho is that the hot tub is apparently closed for good (at least thats what they said when I was staying here)

2022-03-29A great stay with the kids. The hot tub doesnt work anymore, which was a bummer, but everything else was beyond expectations. We even booked an extra night because we enjoyed ourselves so much.
