Worldwide Equipment in other cities:
I guarantee you will come out disappointed. Part was charged way above normal price and I was charged three hours labor for replacing tractor protection valve which normally takes 30 minutes to fix. As if that was not enough it took them the whole day to replace the part. It was double loss for me - overcharged and lost a whole days work. Every customer that I saw was complaining of one thing or another but most of all being kept for a long time for something simple. Something else- you can’t even talk to the mechanic fixing your truck incase you want to explain something. In the worst scenario buy the part and get it fixed elsewhere.
BEWARE! Im not sure if the mechanics have no idea what theyre doing or its their motto to rob people, either way its unacceptable. We had our truck in multiple times this year for the same issue and they claimed it was an injector after claiming it was a sensor which they put in wrong. Gas fumes were awful. How do you put injectors in wrong when this is your specialty? This equates to more time and money gone. Thats one story I can tell you out of many. They take days to diagnose issues because they seem to let your truck sit forever. Theyre very notorious for finding another issue that has to be fixed prior to them even addressing the issue you came in for. Their diagnostic fees change considerably especially if you decide not to have them repair the issue. Apparently its not a big deal how they treat their customers because its a non-issue that they leave people feeling ripped off. We will never bring any of our trucks back to this facility. Weve found a place that is trustworthy and doesnt have a 400% markup.
Incompetent people had my truck for 3 weeks got it back running worse than when I took it in and cost me $30,000. They said they would try to get some of the cost covered but they didnt. Had to take truck to another dealer who was able to fix this places screw up and did it under warranty
Charlie the service manager and Ashley the service advisor were awesome! In fact everyone I came in contact with was friendly and helpful. I was on a time crunch and they got me in and out in less than a couple of hours. Made my delivery on time thanks to their efforts. Thank you Worldwide Equipment!!!
I brought my truck for a transmission oil leak and after 4 days it got fixed but after traveling 1400 miles the whole bottom of the truck covered with oil. Instead of fixing it they made it even worse AND THEY DONT WANNA BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT. There is a company call The Service Company down the road and they offer much more quality service and inexpensive. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS.
Do not recommend repairing your trucks here. Way to over priced priced and problematic. They cant fix anything properly, the truck broke down after it got done getting fixed. Not once but multiple times and the service desk employees are rude and unprofessional. This place only cares about money and nothing more.
I have older equipment & live in the Dytn area ( Dayton) I took my Volvo in for a right rear tail lamp issue & air leak , the lead mechanic named Charlie( if youre an owner op RUN ) world wide kept my tractor 3 days & never worked on my tractor till I told them on that 3rd day get it it done or I want the work order & Ill pay what hrs thats in it !! They attempted to finish the work that Friday evening & the issues werent fixed as I reported ($630 job) & I waited an hour to speak to the head mechanic whom was only concerned about his Friday night 😐 Ithe shop couldnt make a new work order unless he approved it ! I pulled my tractor & it was fixed by ELW TRUCKING of Columbus Ohio & it was done that Monday for $110
As a dealer calling another dealer, I was super impressed with the professional courtesy. Unfortunately my customer cancelled the order, I had to in turn cancel. Dave in parts was very pleasant despite the cancelled sale. I would highly recommend the parts department here.
Worst dealer in dayton. Took my truck there for easy repair and it take them hours to get an over priced estimate to me. Tell me I can wait on my truck and Im waiting for hours and hours. Service manager is rude and just wants to take you’re money and argue. Will never take any of my other trucks here
Hi guys this is volvo is really dangerous i fixing my truck this volvo Dayton Ohio after fix my truck driving only 900 miles and my truck broken againThis is volvo fixed no good and this guys don’t want fixed bed job just take money and send me offMeneger and front desk do rude i have bed experience with this guys
Went in to get my apu fixed, guy made it obvious he didnt want to service my truck, they let it sit for an hour gave me some bs about all the parts i needed (which was a lie) and charged me over $200 for labor. My apu was fixed at another location and it did not need any of the parts this shop told me. DONT TRUST THIS PLACE!
Called for an estimate and a lady named Julie was unbelievably rude and lied multiple times on the phone...she then proceeded to tell me it was none of my business how much they charge for appraisals....are you serious?...if Im going to pay for it then it absolutely is my business how much you charge me!!!...stay away from this place...unbelieveable.
My company has recently started partnering with Worldwide Equipment and I cannot say enough good things. In the last 3 months, we have sent a third of our trucks over for miscellaneous repairs. Theyre always quick to get our fleet in for diagnostics and their communication is top notch. David, Charlie, Ashley & the rest of the service team are a high value asset. Thank you for everything thus far!

2022-07-27I wont take my truck anywhere else, starting from the guys upfront Derek, David, Ashley to service manager, parts manager, techs, everyone is professional and friendly, they understand that the truck driver time costs money, so they act accordingly! They’ll always find correct solution for my truck issues. Thanks!

2022-07-06Today is 7/6/22. I dropped my truck yesterday to fix coolent leaks and batteries issues. Then they told me theyll check it today and tell me the estimate. Then they didnt call me all day. I called them in the morning and they promised me to give me an estimate is soon. after I called 3 times to DEREK. I came by myself to the shop. still they dont have it and he blamed to the parts. I never see like this before so here is my terrible experience because if takes 2 days just for an estimate I dont know how long gonna take for parts and repairs. This is extremely unprofessional. If less 1 star absolutely they deserves

2022-05-17I brought my truck in for a heater hose they put the hose on and put Red antifreeze freeze ... Im not making them re evacuate the system. And put my Green antifreeze in... they said its no big deal.. except it could clog up my cooling system.. I do not recommend this place for anything...by the way Ive been here 4 1/2 hours for a 8 inch heater hose... still waiting.. and they tried to tell me well its a older truck... Its almost like theyre trying to blame me for their screw up.. now they are going to evacuate the system after arguing with the service manager Charlie..NOT TODAY .. CHUCK...!

2021-06-28Takes you at least a day to get in. Overpriced 159$ an hour. As soon as you drop your truck, they have 2 hours diagnostic fee applied. Also invoice will be starting from 1500$ and up. To replace clutch master cylinder, hose and slave cylinder is 3075$. That will give you pricing estimate. Good luck, other than that. Cold ac, free wifi, great customer service, clean restroom and shower.

2022-06-27Went to the shop with check engine light on and trailer was not sending signals to the trailer first they said it needs software update which cost $750. Once that part it done they said there is an issue with power cord which cost $319 to fix after wasting whole day and $1345.62 the problem is still there.Im amazed they are certified by Mack to work on there trucks

2022-01-19I can now fully understand why people are leaving terrible reviews on this place. Their customer service in the service department is non existent. I had an 8 am appointment that they made every excuse not to get my truck in for a PM. I get being busy but I called and set up an appointment with them. I am still waiting on them as we speak. Then find out they broke a bolt of on one of my filters and dont tell me until 7 hours later. I get the PM takes 3 hours to complete but I got the truck here at 8 am and you didnt look or start the job around 1145 after I complained to a manager. It is now 3 pm and my truck still isnt complete. I will never bring my truck back here again. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere too.

2022-05-24They are the only ones that had a part in stock and took care of us by sending it overnight to us in Chicago. Great staff and look forward to dealing with them again

2021-10-08In simple words PUT FIRE IN YOUR TRUCK BUT DON’T TAKE TO THEM. I’m getting a lawyer & going behind them for every single penny paid, they gave me a quote for $ 3085 to do everything that was on the dash & my turbo wasn’t working, was supposed to get truck back in 1 &1/2 days & got back in 8 days & nothing has been done to the truck except for the abs light is off from the dash. Check engine light was showing 1 code which was due to regen failure & now has 3 different codes. Ended up paying $ 5900& loosing 1 week. They wanna charge you $159 hour labor & then don’t wanna give the names of technicians who worked on my truck, but 100% I’m taking them to court.
