I love my new home at Windsor Place Apartments. The management staff has been great from the moment I toured the complex until I moved in. The buildings and grounds are well cared for. I would recommend anyone looking for low maintenance living in a great community to check it out. It is a hidden gem in Mentor on the Lake!
One of the nicest apartment complexes I have ever lived in! The office and maintenance staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The apartment itself is very spacious with a HUGE living room by most apartment standards. Carpet and apartment was very clean when we moved in.
I am moving to Ohio to start a new job. In what could have been a stressful time locating an apartment, Nikki made me feel at home right away. Nikki is a rare find; funny, cheerful, and she knows what she is talking about. I wish I would have decided on the spot to sign a lease and not wasted a day shopping around. I am looking forward to moving into Windsor Place! Thanks again, Nikki!
I love Nikki in the leasing office. She has been the most helpful. She is so kind. She makes you feel like you have known her your entire life. I needed window measurements for our windows and she measured themfor me so I would have them before we moved it!!
Just moved in this weekend to my first home away from my parents. The office staff has been so responsive to my questions and the process was not only professionally done, but also smooth and easy. There was a small issue with the shower diverter, but I emailed them and they fixed within 24 hours of the email, just shows how great they are with responding and acting on everything. Highly recommend

Have lived here for 18 years! Finally bought a house, that is the only reason we are leaving. Management is great and so attentive, especially Tracy. Tom the maintence/does everything man is terrific too!! They are always there when you need a repair or help with something. Highly recommend this place, hard to find a place like this anymore.
Nikki is awesome. She is so sweet and energetic. Any positive adjective I could add, it would definitely have Nikkis name attached. Love this place and looking forward to calling it our home.
Nikki is the best! I met with seven other properties and no one was as friendly and helpful as Nikki. She interacted in a professional, friendly manner with current residents and answered all of my questions with ease.
Ive been looking for nice apartments after I sell my home. I was excited about the list of amenities until I saw the requirement for cats; Must Be Declawed. No decent person would ever require the painful and traumatizing amputation of part of a cats claws (its literally the same as chopping off your fingers at the first knuckle). That request is inhumane and to value your stuff (isnt that what the deposit and extra fees are for?) over the quality of life of an animal is thoughtless. I would never stay here.
Nickie is Awsome!!!!! I was In the area looking at another complex I didn’t like while driving through the neighborhood I spotted Winsor Place. I was a walk in client Nickie Welcome me offered me many options for a unit. Any questions she knew all answers or anything I requested she went further up to accommodate me. I’ve been to several complex’s over the years Never experience so much Welcome nor great energy such as Nickie’s.
We went to Windsor Aparments yesterday to tour the facility and sign a lease. Nikki was wonderful and so very helpful. We enjoyed our experience and we are very excited for our future at Windsor.
Apartment is beautiful and spacious. Staff is incredible and helpful always. Maintenance is right there whenever you need them for something. All in all 5 stars.
We have lived here for nearly a year now and we couldnt be happier! We have a 2 bedroom which is more than spacious and clean. Couldnt ask for better care from the staff and maintenance as well!
On top of the fact that the apartments are pricey it would be one thing if they lease include it something they dont include anything you have to pay for electric gas and water and sewer m

2021-07-31Lived here for 1 year. 6.2020 through 6.2021. I thought it was pretty decent for the most part.Pros: The rooms were big and ample closet space. Close to the water and shopping. They have upgraded some of the grounds there so it feels nicer. It is fairly quiet and safe. Maintenance always addressed issues in a timely manner. Office staff were nice. Fairly clean. Third Floor has a Vaulted Ceiling in the Living and Dining Room.Cons: What I didnt like was the lack of parking at night. There arent that many spaces for the amount of parking spaces. Often, I had to go around a few times to find one. I think they should assign at least one parking space per apartment. Also, I didnt like that you had to run the water for like 10 minutes before it became warm. How are we supposed to conserve water? Not a lot of cabinet space and they stick so it was a struggle to open them. Dated appliances. The trims are dark wood, which also dates the place. You have to pay a service fee to pay your rent online. They charge for water & sewer separately in addition to gas and electricity.

2022-06-11After living here for about a year, I give this property a 3 out of 5 (READ UPDATE BELOW). Very quiet community, local library a few blocks away, police station down the street, beach park with awesome views of the lake, and shopping/restaurants nearby. The office staff and maintenance guys are friendly and dependable with taking care of any residential needs.For the HIGH PRICE, the units need to be updated (appliances, better storage, etc). The hot water is SLOW for showers & handwashing. There is NO clubhouse, balcony, fitness center, or pool. The washer and dryers available for RENT need to be better maintained. It’s NOT fair to charge rental fees for stuff that doesn’t work consistently. I can write a book on wet clothes after attempting to dry them for hours.There is a FREE car wash for residents.This property WOULD NOT be my first choice for living in Lake County, but it’s the BETTER choice for apartments in Mentor on the Lake. Of course, this is my honest opinion based on experience. The BEST choice is to buy a home and not be stuck living in high-priced apartments.UPDATE: I dropped the rating to 2 stars because our electric bill here has been ridiculous. We have had electrical issues in our unit (blinking lights, an old meter). An electrician who came out to check the issues a few weeks ago agreed with my concerns.

2021-07-01My husband and I lived here for 5 years and we had no issues. Anytime we called for a service request, it was completed in a timely manner. The office would call after the service request was completed just to make sure we were taken care of, which was very nice. There was the occasional annoying neighbor, but thats to be expected in apartment living. We wouldve probably stayed longer if they had three bedroom apartments, but with our growing family we needed more space. I do recommend these to anyone who needs a 2 bedroom.

2022-06-04I hated the lack of ventilation in the bathroom it was always mildew and moldy in there I’m pretty sure it vented to nothing.

2020-02-14I moved here about a week ago and I have to say that I am very impressed with my entire experience. When I first applied for an apartment at Windsor Place the staff was friendly and professional. Responses to questions online were prompt. The apartments are absolutely beautiful. I am thoroughly enjoying the space in my apartment. The building is clean. The apartment is clean. About 99% of the time I feel like Im living in a space bubble because its so quiet, which is perfect for me because I work from home. The neighborhood is also great! Ive lived in apartments in both NYC and the Cleveland area. I have to say Windsor Place is by far the best apartment complex Ive lived in. I highly recommend it! Five stars!

2018-11-01My experience with Windsor Apartments has been an absolutely amazing!!! As a recent college graduate, I was nervous taking this huge step in choosing my future home. As soon as I left my tour of the apartment complex, I knew I found the right place to call my home. Tracey was absolutely incredible to work with and was so helpful throughout the whole process. Tracey and Nikki do an amazing job taking care of any situations that come up and they make sure it gets taken care as soon as possible. The apartment complex is always super clean and well taken care of. Tom from maintaince was super helpful with taking care of my dish washer when it broke and replaced my dishwasher within a few days (Tracey made sure I was aware before signing that the appliances were older and that if anything should happen, they will be replaced right away). I came from an apartment that was anything but helpful with a shady property manager. I am so grateful for having an amazing property manager like Tracey, and I so happy to call Windsor my first home!

2020-05-06Lived here for three years. Its a quiet place, though you do hear your neighbors slam doors and stomp on the stairs on occasion. Its to be expected, though...it IS an apartment after all.Management is great. Ive only had two maintenance issues in three years, but both were fixed quickly and with minimum life disruption. Plus management is really good at keeping you aware of any and everything going on with the complex.

2020-08-01All of the staff Ive come into contact with have been really friendly and communicative! Tracey and Jayne are always wonderful to see and work with especially, and any time Ive had a maintenance problem its been easy to get fixed. I was especially appreciative of both Brandon and Brad yesterday. They were both very quick, efficient, professional, and thorough. Brandon fixed our stove burner in addition to what he came here for, even though I had forgotten to ask for a ticket regarding it, and Brad wore shoe coverings inside and when I asked what had gone wrong with the AC he humored me and explained in detail, where I’m sure some other people would not have. They both wore masks, which I’m sure they had to do but which I appreciated all the same, and Brandon very politely didn’t mention that my cat, unbeknownst to me, had taken a dump on the rug in the room in which he needed to work. So all around great staff \/ (•◡•) /

2018-12-08First let me start off by saying how amazing Nikki is she is very friendly and always ready to help. She is such a sweetheart I absolutely love Nikki for being so kind and always helping me with anything I need . I am so glad I just renewed my lease and that is all thanks to Nikki for her wonderful service, like you can truly tell that she loves her job. Tom the Maintnence guy is awesome everytime I have a problem in my apartment he is very quick with fixing the problems. I definitely encourage anybody looking for apartments to definitely come in and grab one of these awesome apartments
