Love the short course for beginners and nicely maintained. Booked online and arrived on time but was told Im LATE. Should be there 20min before my tee time. 1st: this policy is not listed ANYWHERE. 2nd: even my clinic doesnt require that much prep time!They had already let a group of 3 with later tee time start before us, so , we had to wait.Then only we were HARRASED multiple times to move it along. It was so bad that the couple behind us started calling out the employee and asked him where should they go? The other team had not cleared the hole yet. Employees response was they canny hit that far so should start hitting. WHAT?! Thats that most dangerous and irresponsible response ever.We just wanted a fun, relaxing activity on a beautiful day BUT the 1 employee completely ruined our time there. We did make some new friends though.
If youre looking for a no-pressure place to go after work, this is it. Check ahead for best days and times so you dont get caught behind league play. Staff is great. You can even book your tee time online!
Excellent small beginner 9 hole course. Somewhat of a busy course but fun. Even let my 12 yr old play. Women kids welcome and you are easily able to walk the course.
Wilson is an executive course which takes us about 1.5hrs to get through on a weekday with average speed of play. The course is great for all skill levels.
Great course and very fun to play. People running the place are nice at first but are very rude to young people playing there first time.
Good course for working on iron play
I just came as a spectator, but I had a blast! It was mostly fun to hear echoes of golfers cursing and clubs slamming off of the green. Nice course. Pretty small, but good for a quick game or families with kids that are getting started.
Fun short course. If you want to play 9 quick holes, this is the place. Not busy at all. Greens were a lot quicker than I expected.
Tried to get in a quick 9 before it started raining. Didnt even make it to the first green when a heavy rainfall began. The rain left the course unplayable. Asked for a rain check and was denied. This is the first time this has happened to me at this course. Do not play this course if there is a chance of rain.
Over all average par 3 course, over priced golf carts and no discount fees online...if you call they will tell you no carts out after 7, when they are open until 9...I have never seen a 2 man round take 2 hours riding on a course why can carts still not go out at 7 do the old retired workers have better things to do? They always seem angry when you call to ask course info or how busy they are. If you have the time drive elsewhere and pay the same amount for a full 9 hole course!!
This is a perfect golf course for beginners like myself. Holes are short and the golf course is well maintained. Good if you want to get a quick 9 holes in.
Beginners course. Gets really busy and slow at times because of that. Aside from that, its a fun executive course. None of the holes are all that memorable, but none of them really suck either. Im always tempted to skip over to the Raymond Memorial course that runs parallel to the 4th and 5th holes...
If I had known it was only 9 holes and six of them were par threes I wouldnt have wasted one of the last warmest day of the year playing there.
Nice Little course. Hole 6 is a par 4 and the longest distance at just around 350yrds with water on both sides. Holes 1, 4, 6 are par 4 the rest are par3. The longest Par 3 is either 3 or 5, but still in the 150-170 range.Anyone ever get permission to fish in the two ponds? I have seen some nice size fish in there.
This course is an okay beginner course. They over book then they come around telling people that they have to play a scramble. They are unproffessional and rude to come around and push people because they overbooked the course. I would give zero stars if I could. The fairways are dirt and the course is poorly maintained so it is also hard to find balls that arent white.
Wilson Road Golf Course is a fantastic beginner course. Well kept, and beautiful surroundings.Even as I improve as a player, I enjoy going to Wilson for the price and ease to get through a quick 9 holes.
Very personable staff. Too bad my fellow golfers didnt understand basic basic rules ( like if youre a 3 some and youre spraying shots everywhere but straight ask the 2 some behind you if theyd like to play through). smh...
Got there and asked if they took walk-ons? “Yes we do but next time make a tee time.” So which is it yes or no? Don’t be passive aggressive about. Then while standing on the first tee box the sky opens up and pours. I walk back inside and ask for a rain check. Sorry we don’t do rain checks because of the new Covid policy. I just made a donation to Columbus parks and rec dept. I wonder if I can count this as a right off. Either way highly doubtful I’ll ever golf there again possible even all the Columbus courses are on my list now.
Ive been playing at Wilson for a couple years now and really enjoy it. There are only three par 4s and the rest are par 3s. Greens are typically fast and well maintained. It has never taken more than an hour and half to walk the course. The only bad thing right now is goose poop in the fairways.
Wilson Road is an awesome place to play a quick round of golf. Only $12 to walk 9 holes! NOTE: If you are looking to play a full sized course, Raymond Memorial is a great option.

Took my 8 year old grandson, perfect tees for a beginner. Great greens, perfect course for a quick nine holes friendly staff.
Nice executive 9 hole golf course. The greens and tees are watered, but the fairways are not. The. Greens have good contours
Nice executive course with a mix of par threes and par fours. Staff is usually retirees who are very nice and jovial, into what they do. All in all a great place to learn the game of golf.
Simple course that is perfect for less skilled players. Staff is excellent. Just wish they would let two play together instead of adding one or two more players.

Course is well maintained and bunkers are actually sand, not concrete. Only downfall is that it plays slow, but thats because its busy.
Nice course, decent prices, usually an available tee time if I call 24 hours in advance.
Friendly staff that take great care of this course. Great place to play with children also. My 9 year old loves this course.
For a public par 30 course it’s not bad. The staff is pretty nice and it’s a good course to practice on your short irons.
Decent par 3 course. This is where people go to learn how to play so dont be surprised if you get stuck behind slower groups.
Its a nice par 3 course. Prices have gone up quite a bit the last couple years to $14.50 for a round unfortunately, but it plays well.

This course doesnt offer a whole lot, but you cant beat the price for what you get. Rounds of golf are cheap even when you get a cart too. Be sure to stock up on drinks before you start though.
This course is garbage. You would be better going and growing your money away. Always over crowded and overpriced. If I could put half a star I would. Go to blues creek Marysville instead.

Short coarse but not bad. If you want 5 star service, go pay 5 star prices. This is a great little coarse for the cost.

The dude that works there is horrible. How anyone would want to deal with someone like that is beyond me. Get rid of the staff so golfers want to come

2022-03-08Get to use every club in your bag on this 9-hole executive par 3 course. Incredibly well maintained, friendly staff and volunteers. Pace moves well. Mix of people sharpening skills, casual and beginning golfers.

2022-06-25First time to play this course. It has a nice layout of holes, great place to work on par 3 holes as course has 6. The tee boxes and greens were very competitive, well maintained. Definitely will be back.

2022-06-29I love the golf course! So pretty and very well priced! But disappointingly the man at the pro shop was extremely rude and had extreme attitude. If that man wasn’t there I would consider returning, but as long as he’s there I will not be back at Wilson Road golf course.

2022-06-27Horrible experience. Customer service was extremely rude. Asked have you ever plays gold before? lied about pricing over the phone. Yelling at us in the office for renting too many sets of clubs when they knew how many was coming. Forced us to make one person pay instead of splitting up the check for each person playing. Got mad at us for not being 15 minutes early when they didnt even tell us to. Great first experience with Golf.

2021-05-22Nice beginner course, still challenging but all holes are par 3 or 4 and for an inexperienced golfer is a great place to start. 9 holes and they offer golf carts and bag carts for a small rental fee. Had a really nice time. I will 100% be going back to this course

Sometimes slow play, but that’s expected on par 3 courses where you often get newer players who aren’t ready for a full length course. The staff is friendly (including their starter - who knew starters could be friendly!?) Great for a quick 9 after work in the evenings.

2021-07-13Good muni pitch and putt. The course still demands a little bit of management on the par 4s.I like being able to grab the first tee time and be done by 8. Plenty of balls up for grabs in the water hazards.
