Best to avoid the park at night. Attracts a sketchy crowd of young adults who are bored and looking for trouble. Have been harassed a few times here by panhandlers that dont want to hear the word no. Most of time during the day this is a excellent place to take a break or wait for your bus. Just be aware of your surroundings.

Its really a remarkable thing to honor heroes of the past erecting their statues. However, it also appears that people pay little attention to them. This place is nice overall with a great view around.
