Absolutely horrible place. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! My mother was sent here originally to recover from a broken ankle, but had a stroke during or right after her surgery. I tried to tell everyone this and no one would listen to me, not at the hospital or at Widows Home. I called this facility every day, multiple times a day and could not get ahold of anyone until I forced them to send my mother to the hospital. She had an acute stroke. This place should be shut down. I dont understand how they are so highly rated elsewhere. The facility is dirty and smells awful. My mother was put in a room with a broken call button and they acted like she was lying about it. They were rude to her about changing her as well. She was only treated like a human being after I forced their hand. Reaction time is critical for a stroke, everyone knows that, and now my mother can barely talk!!! These people should be ashamed!!!

I’ve worked here a lot and some of the black nurses bully the white aides around. I get a lot of racist vibes going here . So unfortunately I won’t be returning

My mother in law has been there a couple of times after being hospitalized. They wont get her to the bathroom before she messes herself, then wait hours to help her after she messes herself. Theyre no help to her if she wants to get up and move around. (Her primary stay has been for rehabilitation). She comes out worse than when she went in.

My mother was transferred there after falling for rehab. She really needed a new hip, but medicaid isnt helping. The care she got during rehab, convinced me that this was a good place for her to stay. She has dementia- and they dont segregate the dementia/alzheimers patients- so its a more normal environment. She seems to be doing well, the staff is very helpful, the place is clean, and Ive been very happy with the care shes received.

My moms been at the Widows Home for a year this month. She has Alzheimers, and I transferred her here from Woodglen; best thing I could have done. Much cleaner and nicer place all the way around. The staff seem much happier here, a big plus. The food is much better, the place is cleaner, and theres more sunlight. There is a smaller mixed population, and the residents who are able seem to look out for each other. Mom seems happier and fits in well. Id highly recommend the Widows Home.

The physical therapist here is extremely rude, interrupting other workers, and not being considerate to the residents of Widows Home. Despite this being a location primarily for rehab, would not recommend.

Dont let your loved one stay here. The Widows Administration and Doctors dont listen to their patients. The nursing staff complains about answering call lights. The facility reaks of urine. Widows discharged my mother after 5pm. The facility told my father he had 1 hour to collect her things. He basically had to carry my double amputee mother out with her belongings with no help from staff. My mother arrived at this facility by transport she should have left the same way. Lastly the Director of Nursing prefers to be called PooNanny. When i asked for her name thats what her response was.......

This place is horrible I would not want anybodys family member to stay here. My husbands mother has been living there for almost a year. They visited her today on mothers day and she need to use the restroom and they called for a nurse 3 times, then my husband had to go find some one that didnt help. Finally a nurse did show up after a half hour to 45 minutes. Please do not send your loved ones here we are in the process of moving her but its hard due to her income.

If not for WIDOWS home. My mother would not be here today. She was transferred from Kettering. They took poor care of her and she was fading fast. I am so pleased with WIDOWS love them all.mom will be 89 soon. And thank to everyone there at WIDOWS I have nothing but love for them all
