After 4 years of lower back pain I found Dr.Brooks and his team at Westerville Chiropractic. After my first session i felt relief! Our entire family has seen Dr. Brooks and his staff for five years now. He is excellent with children- our daughter used to be terrified of Chiropractors. The plan of care began with X-rays and consultation, and in the following weeks, was followed by a combination of physical therapies and chiropractic adjustments during each visit. I have been receiving treatment at Westerville Chiropractic for the past three years. I initially went to see Dr. Brooks for my cervical and shoulder pain issues due to motor vehicle accident. From my first visit to the office I have found the staff to be highly professional, friendly, helpful and understandable. It was my first time seeking chiropractic care as well as physical therapy. From the day one I have received professional and quality medical services.Dr. Robert Brooks and his entire team are wonderful to work with when getting adjustments and receiving physical therapy.They all are listen well to any pain concerns I have and offer suggestions on what I can do at home to speed up my recovery. Dr.Brooks and his staff are amazing. I went in with neck and back pain and after just a couple of visits I fealt a significant reduction in pain. After explaining why I was having issues he put me on a plan and now I am almost completely pain free. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Over several months after delivering my daughter I was having sharp pains in my lower back/hip area. After I realized it wasnt going away on its own, I decided to start checking out chiropractors.My main criteria was that it was close to work due to my available hours, but Im so blessed I stumbled upon Westerville Chiropractic, Dr. Brooks and his team! I was very impressed by the response time (within an hour of sending an email on a Sunday!) and even more impressed by the overall care that Ive received.They got me in the following day for X-rays and the day after that I was able to get the overall analysis, proposed treatment plan and costs thoroughly explained to me.Getting adjusted is definitely one of the best decisions I have made for myself and my overall health. I noticed less pain within a couple of adjustments and am now nearing the end of my treatment. I feel 100% better than I did even before my pregnancy.My future definitely includes visits! A huge thanks goes out to the staff for the hospitality and to Dr. Brooks for getting me back aligned!
I decided to go to Westerville Chiropractic because I was having terrible pain in my lower back. There was so much pain that it would wake me up at night. Dr. Brooks and his staff have been very kind and caring to me. Dr. Brooks put me on a weekly treatment schedule, which included decompression of my lower back. I want to state that within just a few weeks, I was able to sleep on my back without pain. I would like to recommend anyone, who is experiencing constant pain, to Westerville Chiropractic. Dr. Brooks is the best! I’ve found that combining a massage with an adjustment gives me the most benefit. Westerville Chiropractic has Massage Therapists on staff, plus complete therapy solutions. I tend to be someone who hates appointments and/or commitments that last too long. The great thing about WESTERVILLE Chiropractic is that they guide you toward optimum benefits, but if you’re me and don’t want to spend the time for all that’s necessary to achieve, they’ll still work with you.
I have been a patient at Westerville Chiropractic since May of 2014 (so almost 2 years). I was initially referred to Dr. Brooks office by my primary care physician after being involved in an automobile accident. When I called to schedule my first appointment I was informed of the intake process and when I arrived everything went as I was told it would. I was examined and evaluated, a follow up appointment was scheduled to review the the findings of that exam and evaluation and a treatment plan was then discussed and at my decision scheduled. I recently read a review by the spouse of a potential new patient written about a month ago and was shocked! The only free or complimentary massage I am aware of is one that is offered by certificate only given in the office for patients to give to other patients they refer (coincidentally, I was in the office the same time as this couple and their children - and I must say that the behavior exhibited and language used was profane, rude and disruptive to the treatment of other patients in the office at the time). At no time have I ever felt pressured or coerced to engage in any treatment at this practice. In fact, I have always felt welcomed and cared for a great deal. After my accident treatment plan was completed, I decided to continue as a patient and Dr. Brooks has been able to help me improve other health conditions as well (chronic sinusitis, migraine headaches, stress reduction, insomnia, increased range of motion and flexibility - which has contributed to my increased success in weight loss). Additionally, my daughters became patients and are adjusted regularly as a result of my positive experience - they too have had excellent care and results (ages 24 and 9 - started at 23 and 8). My family and I have been made to feel as though we are extended family at this practice. The office staff is friendly, professional and always available to answer questions and help. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in pain, especially those looking to address that pain without adding the negative side effects of strong pain medications that can lead to other health issues. I decided to take a risk and invest in my body by going to Dr.Brooks for neck and back pain from playing sports. My overall experience with Dr.Brooks was not very good at all. He is very unprofessional and doesn’t seem to be very charismatic about what is going on with each individual. It seems as if he’s just trying to get as many clients in and out as he can which I understand but he should put some effort and time into each person. He was very unorganized 95% of my appointments even after he explained to me that if I scheduled out that I would be in and out and get every thing done in a decent time. I would have to wait 15-20 mins after the physical therapy that I had to do for him to even come out to finally adjust me. Meanwhile there’s people going to the front desk constantly asking where he is and that they’re running late with having to wait so long. It got to the point where the other chiropractor would have to adjust me half the time because he would have us waiting entirely too long to come out and do his job. How is another chiropractor even adjusting me and he has seen no xrays and really doesn’t know exactly what’s going on with my body? I will say he did a good job but it should never get to that point. I will also say there was a point and time where I was feeling good through the process but a few weeks after I decided not to go back due to how unprofessional everything was I was feeling 10x worse and the pain went from something that was off and on into a constant and even worse pain where i started to have back spasms and all types of other problems that I didn’t have before . If anything I backtracked by going to this place. The physical therapist and front desk lady were good though but that’s about it
I have been going to see Dr Brooks for about three months now. I had zero curve in my neck and experienced horrible headaches daily and could barely turn my neck, within a few weeks my headaches were gone and Im able to turn my head again like normal. I am halfway through my physical therapy and i am feeling so much better! Dr.Brooks and all of the staff are great! I am so glad I made the decision to come here.
Went here being skeptical about my first experience with a Chiropractor. But was put at ease with the detailed explanation on my condition. And now i am glad that i have fewer headaches and back pain issues stemming from bad posture. Looking forward to getting this over with soon and Dr Brooks has been great along with all the staff there.
Dr. Brooks is awesome! He is very personable, professional and best of all he gets results. When I first started going to him my right ankle was in constant pain due to a severely tilted pelvis, and I could not walk without my orthotics. After a few sessions of treatment with Dr. Brooks, not only is my ankle pain free, but I have not worn my orthotics in weeks. The facility is clean, organized and operates very efficiently. The team of employees are very friendly, and they make everyone feel welcome and at ease. His assistant Ashley is very knowledgeable and conducts herself in an extremely professional manner. Dr. Dennis has been very helpful with weight management issues. This is an outstanding practice, and I will recommend Westerville Chiropractic to all of my family and friends!
I’m so happy I found this practice. I knew from the moment I walked in for my appointment that I would absolutely be coming back. When I initially set up an appointment, I didn’t have any extraordinary pain only a slight discomfort with my body. I honestly wanted to be adjusted for an overall wellness purpose. However, I realized that I had been ignoring a problem that occurred in an accident years ago. I had pain, but after several years I was accustomed to it. After a month of treatment so far, I feel so much better and I’m excited to continue this journey along with increasing the benefits it’s had on my body and mind. I was instantly hooked by the staff. They are super friendly, genuine and extremely helpful. Everything is very neat, organized and clean. I would highly recommend going to Westerville Chiropractic to any one, not just to the people that are in pain.
Terrible experience. I had been in a ton of pain for being 9 1/2 months pregnant. I looked up reviews on this place before I bought a the groupon. He had fantastic reviews. While being there you could tell they were disorganized and in a hurry. Prior to my visit, I called to make sure they had experience with third trimester patients and could accommodate my needs. They said yes. When I went to the back room they told me they did not have a pregnancy pillow. (Which was okay but limited the ability to fix me) The chiropractor laid me on my side to adjust my hip but slammed his whole body on the side of my belly. I got a jolt of pain and wanted to rush out of there. I went up to the front desk and he asked the secretary of I was cash or insurance. When she replied insurance then all of the sudden he wanted to make another appointment to see me that following Monday. I definitely decided just to eat the 50 bucks and never return.
My experience with Westerville Chiropractic was excellent! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and encouraging. After just a couple visits, I felt reenergized, was sleeping much better, and felt vast improvements with my mobility and flexibility. Not only did I feel much better, I also saw physical evidence that my body was improving; I was shown x-rays (at the beginning and end of my 24-week plan) so that I could see what exactly was causing my pain and how my body really did change over the course of my therapy.I am thankful for the Westerville Chiropractic team and look forward to returning to them for maintenance and any other physical pain I may have in the future. I was involved in a car accident and referred to Dr. Brooks for treatment. The entire staff was welcoming at my first appointment. My needs for recovery have been explained throughout treatments. The office offers therapy and chiropractic treatments, so it is one stop shopping on the road to recovery. Appointments are at convenient times, and everyone is very timely to get me in and out.
I was in a car accident where I was hurt and had soft tissue injuries, among a few other things. I started seeing Dr. Brooks who was amazing from hello!! He was so kind and caring at every appointment. His staff and the office make it a really warm and friendly place to get chiropractic care. He helped me so much to feel like myself again. Day 1 I Walked in with a lot of pain in the right side of my hip. It hurt to walk, bend over and sit. After the 12th therapy session ( going 3 days a week) I am now pain free. Dr. Brooks and his crew are very professional with a very welcoming and clean environment.
I went to westerville Chiropractic for the first time last week and want people to know what a wonderful experience I had. The front desk personnal are so friendly and very helpful. Dr. Brooks is a great doctor, I saw him twice last week and twice this week and I am feeling much better already. I was also able to get a massage and what a difference in how I feel. I am so happy I found this Chiropractic center and Dr. Brooks because I am on the road to recovery.
So I moved to work from home and did not have a proper set up so... I had pain. We began working immeiatly to fix my issues. The staff is friendly, I would say the mix of therapy and adjustments help me move better, sleep better and adapt to work from home much faster than expected. I would recommend the team. After suffering an injury to my neck and having severe nerve pain, seeing Dr. Brooks and Dr. Dennis at Westerville Chiropractic changed my life around. I had a herniated disc and a bulge in the cervical vertebrae that was pushing on nerves and sending pain through my head. They took care of me, better than I expected. Within around 3 months of treatment I was back on my feet without pain, the doctors at Westerville Chiropractic are professionals and experts in their field and I would highly suggest anyone to seek their help if having any spinal issues, or if you just need an adjustment. I wish I could give them 6 stars out of 5.

I found Westerville Chiropractic last year (2012) when I bought a Groupon for three one-hour massages. The Groupon included an optional consultation and x-rays, which I decided to do because of intense, persistent pain in my right hip.Dr. Brooks met with me to go over my x-rays, which revealed that my pelvis was out of alignment. He outlined several treatment options as well as different payment options as I did not have health insurance at that time. I did NOT feel pressured to make an immediate decision about treatment.I did decide to begin treatment at Westerville Chiropractic and could not be happier. First, my massage therapist, Maureen, is one of the best I have ever worked with. In addition to massage, I receive adjustments, most often from Dr. Sutton. Dr. Sutton is extremely personable, compassionate, and always offers words of encouragement and additional stretches and exercises to do at home to help the healing process. Finally, the ladies that run the front desk are always pleasant and upbeat and NEVER act like they are too busy to help you. I’ve seen and heard them make each patient feel like they are the most important person in the whole place. And they smile. Customer service like theirs is difficult to come by these days. Kudos to them!Last October, I would have said my pain was present 100 percent of the time at a 6 or 7 on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest). Now, I would describe it as being present maybe 30 to 40 percent of the time at about a 2 on a scale of 1-10. I feel so much better, and I am so happy I found these folks. I highly recommend Dr. Brooks and Co. at Westerville Chiropractic!
I gotta say I use to have a solid very good chiropractor but then I moved. Because i had a solid very good chiropractor i can tell all yall taking your first step into getting your back popped this guy is a scam. His very scary x rays and fast talking (what do we call sales people? we call them fast talkers) about how youll get arthritis and this and that is snake oil. Theres so many reviews on here about how you can see the improvement on the later x-rays. You could get that in two visits from a regular chiropractor but they dont need x-rays to scare you. If you have something out of alignment it sometimes is but often isnt a long standing thing. You have to exercise and use good posture but you dont have to pay this guy 15 hundred dollars for six months of care to get in alignment. A good chiropractor will get you into alignment in the first two visits and tell you how to stay that way. A doctors office should feel like a doctors office not a pyramid scheme
My experience at Westerville Chiropractic and Physical Therapy has been wonderful! Both my mother and grandmother ended up being bedridden and I am determined not to let that happen to me. When I first saw Dr. Brooks, I had been having difficulties with my lower back, and found out there were issues with my 4th lumbar vertebra. (Coincidentally, this was the same place my mothers issues were.) After about 3 months of treatment with Dr. Brooks, I no longer have the difficulties I had been having, and my spine is almost in alignment. I am confident I wont end up in a wheelchair, and that is an amazing feeling!
Dr. Brooks, Dr. Harris and the chiropractic team at Westerville Chiropractic are knowledgeable, thorough, personable, professional and extremely organized. Drs. Brooks and Puskarich are two of the most knowledgeable and personable Chiropractors Ive encountered. Their spinal adjustments and care recommendations are spot on. There is also a concerned and attentive staff to make sure that the results of your care optimized.
I got a coupon in a local magazine for Westerville Chiropractic that offered a free exam, x-rays and massage, so I decided to check it out. The office appears to be very modern and the equipment seems very good, but I did not get that great of a feeling whilst there. Dr. Brooks may be perfectly right in everything he said about my condition (my neck curves the wrong way), but I couldnt help feeling like he was more of a salesman than a doctor. When I was there he was very quick to explain everything and build a case as to why I needed many sessions of adjustments along with therapy, etc. It was definitely not very personable- I didnt get the impression he was concerned for me, but more for making the sale.What made me decide not to go back was the coupon scam. When I went in for my free massage, somehow it had not been scheduled (even though I definitely scheduled it with the front desk person). There was no apology or anything. The person was actually rather snippy. So, I rescheduled it. I called the morning of the day I was supposed to go in for the massage just to make sure it had actually been scheduled this time, and the person said yes. When I arrived, I was greeted with the explanation that the person who was supposed to be doing my massage was not in that day, so no massage again. Really? I asked why someone had told me everything was fine that morning, and then I come in to find out that there was no masseuse on the schedule for that day, and received no explanation. It gave me the impression that unless you sign up for multiple adjustments and therapy, youre not getting your free massage. I can understand something going wrong with the schedule once, but not twice, especially when you call to confirm. Fishy...
This place has a wonderful atmosphere, great people, and solid therapy. I went in over the course of the past several months for neck/upper back pain. After said time I went from having ~10% of the curvature in my neck to almost 32%! I can easily say the quality of my life has gone up drastically which is why I opted to continue to work with them over the next year to hopefully get up to 42! Highly recommend. :)

I was in an auto accident in May. I requested an appointment, as a new patient, via their online portal on Memorial Day. They called me the VERY next day and got me in that same day. My treatment plan was 3x per week for about 3 months. They worked with my ever changing schedule to make it work for me :) I am now happy to report that I am on a plan of 1x per week. There is only one word for this office and the entire staff...AMAZING!!!!
Dr. Brooks and his staff did a wonderful job at identifying the problem and developing a program that fits for my situation. Very much looks at the big picture with initial treatment and ongoing care to keep the problem from returning.

Not only did they lie to us on the phone just to get us in the door, but then they lied straight to my face about what they promised they would do for us over the phone! This place is a complete quack! I will be calling the insurance company as well as the state board! And also just in case any patient is reading this, they are not legally allowed to charge you payment upfront! They have a contractual obligation with the insurance company to send your claim in first, then bill you the lower negotiated amount per their contract! I would stay clear of this office!! There are other ethical places available!
My teenage son was ill and in a lot of pain. In addition, he had Scoliosis. Now, his back is straight and hes all better! Highly recommend!

Came in with pain in right shoulder blade, Dr. Brooks helped get rid of the pain and is helping to fix some of the other issues I was having. I couldnt be happier and I feel so much better!!

I called them twice over a week ago, left a message with my contact information, and also emailed them through their website with my contact information. I never heard anything back. Please dont go and buy their Groupon with the expectation that you will be able to get a hold of them to use it. Based on my experience, they wont answer their phone and wont contact you back.
So far so good. I was having trouble turning my neck it had gotten pretty bad, and now I have no pain on most days and feel more able to move freely.

2022-03-16I was referred by a friend to the office after I had extreme back pain that left me barely able to stand up or walk. Due to the exceptional operations of the office I was able to get in that day and was immediately started on a treatment plan. After only a few visits a majority of the pain was gone and with ongoing treatment my back continues to get better. The office is very well run, is very clean and I’ve never waited more than a few minutes to see the chiropractor. It is a little more expensive but you absolutely get what you pay for with attentive care from the entire staff. Definitely recommend!

2022-02-13I used to get migraines almost every day and had to deal with allergies year round. After seeing Dr. Brooks and taking care of the root cause of the migraines and allergies, I have been feeling so much better! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 The office is clean and everyone at the office is super friendly. 2021-09-05I cannot say enough positive things about Westerville Chiropractic! Not only do patients benefit from Dr. Brooks years of knowledge and experience in chiropractic care, but we also have access to in-house physical therapy and massage, among other things. The doctors and staff are all knowledgeable, caring professionals who are very patient and kind while guiding you through a personally-prescribed process to help you get free of that pain!I chose to go to Westerville Chiropractic on a friends recommendation. After 25 years of worsening and more frequent painful sciatica episodes, I suffered the mother of all episodes the day before a weeks vacation at the beach. When I returned, I was in so much pain and could hardly sit, walk or bend over. Westerville Chiropractic was able to get me in very quickly. After a brief consultation and x-ray, I learned I had three compressed discs in my lower back. Dr. Brooks was confident I could benefit from the therapies he could provide and assured me I could be pain-free without surgery. I was skeptical but was desperate for some relief, so I took him at his word. It has taken a couple of months of treatment, but I AM NOW PAIN-FREE -- without surgery or drugs!!! I plan to maintain my pain-free life by doing the recommended maintenance visits.I am also enjoying the benefits of the Brain-Tap technology recently made available through Westerville Chiropractic. I am always on the lookout for natural health solutions and was eager to try this unique way to lower my stress and my blood pressure. The quick and easy in-house scan revealed that, in some key areas, stress was having its way with me. The results correlated closely with my lack of energy in the middle of the day, chronic brain frog and inability to stay focused.The Brain-Tap program has so many different modules to choose from, encompassing a wide range of health and lifestyle-related topics. The modules run from about 10 minutes up to 25 or 30 minutes. I only listen a couple of times a day, sometimes only once a day, but in only a few weeks, I feel so much more relaxed, energetic and focused. I am currently listening to programs centered on achieving better health and already notice a change in my mindset and motivation to make better choices to support that goal. I am hooked and eager to explore as many of the modules as I can!Westerville Chiropractic and Brain-Tap have both become an important and necessary part of my arsenal of natural health solutions!

2021-01-19Awesome chiropractic office in Westerville! Randomly woke up one day with debilitating back pain - I could hardly walk for two days. Decided to schedule my first visit. Amy is so helpful & she got me in immediately! I’m self pay & she made me aware of any fees initially & once I met Dr. Brooks he did a thorough examination & also broke down the fees for me with a step by step plan. They also offer financing which is nice if needed!John is very helpful as well at each appointment. Dr. Brooks is very trustworthy & I am so happy I found this great team! I was nervous because I’m 25 & had never been to a chiropractor before. I had nothing to worry about though, as each appointment has been better than the last.Call them & schedule an appointment - this is truly exceptional care & I am so happy I found this amazing team of professionals!

2021-03-15I had a bad chiropractic experience in the past, which left me nervous about visiting one ever again. But after continued hip pain and a snowboarding collision that gave me whiplash and neck pain, I knew it was time to go. I was recommended by a friend and deciding to visit Dr. Brooks is the best decision I’ve made! It has been life changing. My neck no longer hurts and my hip pain is lessening every week. I am also sleeping better, less stressed, and overall less tense. I’d recommend Dr. Brooks and Westerville Chiropractic to anyone looking for chiropractic services!

2021-11-10Just like the other 1 star review, I would give zero if I could. I called before even making an appointment and asked if they took my insurance and I was told yes. Dr.Brooks told me that my insurance doesn’t cover much, wouldn’t give me details, and then told me it would be $1,350 for treatment. I called my insurance, and they said that they do cover the services and that I was lied to. Dr.Brooks also talked to me like a car salesman when giving me the price and payment options. He gave me three different prices before settling on one. I never received a bill, and cancelled all of my appointments but it’s still reporting on my credit that I owe $1,350. I paid the $50 for my initial x-rays and adjustment, so I don’t understand why I’m to pay for services I never received. He also tried to sell me a headset for $700 after I told him I couldn’t afford the treatment.
