Reason for the four star its fast food but the am e4 lia Wendys do have to sa yo one of the better establishments asked 4 no salt on fries and they got it right first time along with only extra onions on the triple which was moist and also Hot!!Good job amelia Wendys well go back there for sure
Would never go to this location ever again. Waited for 47 mins behind 1 person who only ordered a frosty and he waited like 20 mins! Was plenty of staff their so no reason it should have been this.fkn bad AND didnt even give us what we ordered but was too fkn hungry ate it anyways. Was def thee worst ff experience ive eber had anywhere in my life.
Honestly for the most part the food is good and the service average.Unfortunately, I will miss eating from this Wendy’s, where I have, for years, purchased food approximately once every week or two.Recently, I arrived and made an effort to order one large fry and one bacon classic without the drink, which is a standard for me.After several attempts to do so, my bill became over $40 and I pulled around to the window to clarify. All they exclaimed at the window was that my bill was 46.00 ish(sorry don’t exactly remember the exact amount). As such, I advised I would be into get this resolved and pulled off to the side to enter the building and resolve what I thought was a simple issue and pay for mu sandwich with fries, and move forward.Door was locked, which was fine, so I walked to the drive up window and was immediately advised of my aggressiveness and threats by the personnel, of which, I never have, will, or am as such have done.Subsequently, I simply left and went to Hardee’s where I enjoyed my order.I did call Wendy’s to express my concerns and I will be honest, they simply listened and put me over to their local franchise owner.Three days later the owner contacted me, however, his concern was how he could “make this right” I want to be very clear, I am just a simple truck driver. Nothing more. I took the next few days to test the same circumstances at a variety of other local franchise fast food locations, nothing even close to these issues, they were all polite, understanding and caring.Don’t care, simply won’t go back to Wendy’s in the local area where he owns several apparently. I say this to you, sir, the owner.Its not about the money, just the respect and service. Unfortunately I am not convinced the local Wendy’s franchise holder for Amelia, Ohio and others in area they hold, is upstanding, understanding or active in resolving concerns.Each gets their say this is my little say. Other than, his phone call fell on deaf ears, at that point, it was already a failed experience.My name is Mark Ross, and I am not afraid to let you know or hide behind a computer screen or phone.
Ive been here twice this is my last time the first time I ordered 3 number 6 spicy chicken meal I said spicy chicken meal 3 times when we got home it was 3 triple cheese burgers I called and told them but it was to late to go back and we were going out of town today 9/16/2021 I went in ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwiches we did get that meal but the sandwichs had nothing on them just bread and chicken ill stick with burger King..
It is probably the best Wendys around. The drive through is fast and the employees are polite. Tyler in the drive through has always been very polite. The food has always been fresh and has gotten to me in a reasonable amount of time. Ive never had any issue with the restaurants cleanliness. It overall a great fast food restaurant. Especially in the Amelia area.
The food is always consistently good. There is usually a wait time. (7min-15min) My last visit was almost 25min wait, so I tried to order online while I waited. The app would not let me check out. It kept saying that they were out of chicken nuggets. But when I got to the speaker, I realized that the app was incorrect.
Nice Wendys, drive thru usually fairly quick. Will say that the fries seem like they are hardly ever salted when I go. I think its gotten better more recently but I started getting nuggets so I can dip the fries in the sauce something since they are non/under salted a lot.
I am not sure what is going on with local Wendys stores, but I have tried to visit two stores recently where they were closed because of no staff or staff walked out. Could it be pandemic, poor management, salary? Its a shame because I have always preferred Wendys over other fast food restaurants.
Had to wait in drive-thru for quite a while. Apparently all of the Wendys feels they have to lock their doors and keep people out, even ones who just want to do to-go orders. If they want to close the dining rooms, fine. Rope it off so all that people can do is to-go. Walking in is always faster than the drive-thru, closing the inside just makes the drive-thru even worse.With that, my food is always hot, fresh and the order is never messed up, unlike the eastgate location that is nothing but a hot mess.
Healthier appearing food than most, friendly staff, efficient order taking and delivery, fair price to portion ratio, delicious food. I could live on Frostees (and the machine is never broken - LOL). Im a former fast food junkie, age 74. Wendys and one other more expensive place that does not serve beef....are the only ones I choose now. They just seem cleaner, nicer and have a healthier feel and appearance to their food, store and staff.
Sat in line at the pickup window waiting, and when they came back, they apologized and infomes us their CC machine was down, and they were only accepting cash orders that night. Found out after leaving thatvour account was charged, but didnt get our order. On top of that the bank has suspected fraud, and shut down my card...😤
Sometimes the food here is the best fast food you can get. And sometimes it tastes like its been sitting out for 6 days. Sometimes you roll up and get the food immediately and sometimes you have a little bit of the weight but usually when you have to wait the food is pretty good. This place is really hit-or-miss. You could have a great experience or you could have an absolutely awful experience.
Place isnt too bad but not always the cleanest plus its fast food. Their food makes me feel like garbage, will most likely make just about anyone obese, and has given me food poisoning before. Hate is a very strong word so I give it two stars. The pluses would be the staff which are friendly and its not a filthy habitat. Just not great by any means besides the staff.
They continually get my order wrong. I quit going several months ago because my sandwich had mayo and tomato on it which is asked for it without these items. I was given a credit, went back, it too was incorrect. But, I went again a couple weeks later only to have the same issue. I thought, after a few months, maybe they have new employees and will get my order correct this time. Nope, same problem. In the bright side, at least they served me the wrong sandwich and an order of extremely greasy fries fast and with a smile.
I just waited from 9pm till 9:38pm for 4 items! Then when I got to the window FINALLY, I heard a girl say she needed my grilled chicken because she bumped it on the screen. So they made me pull forward and wait another 15 minutes because of their mess up! 3 cars behind me got their order and drove off while I sat there waiting on something that shouldve already been done. Ill give 2 stars cause at least the sandwich was hot but thats it! A 40 minute wait for 4 items is UNCALLED FOR! I would suggest going inside to get your food, you might get it faster.
Popped over for a quick bite and there was a huge drivethru line, so I went inside expecting it to be faster. As it turns out that was not the case, as the cashier, Brandon, was too busy talking to a friend of his. As I waited, a line of about 6 more customers grew behind me and nobody else was sent to the front to assist with the business. I was second in line and still waited about 10-15 minutes for one burger and one potato.
We got 3 small frosties through the drive thru today. Two of the 3 frosties had fries in them. I called Wendys and the Manager told me it wasnt possible. Unbelievable!I asked for his supervisors name and contact info. and he said he didnt have any for her, Tam is what he said her name was. He then hung up on me....I swear I cant make up stuff this good.An unbelievable experience.
My husband and I dont eat fast food very often but when we do, we usually prefered Wendys over other fast food restaurants. Unfortunately, their service in the last couple of years have gone way down hill. In just the past 6 months we have gone through Wendys drive through 3 times and all 3 times, one of our orders have been wrong. We have received a diet soda when a regular soda was ordered, tartar sauce on a fish sandwich when we ordered no tartar sauce, and the worse was getting a completely different sandwich, ordered chicken but received hamburger. This is disappointing but what really bothers me is how the management handles our complaint. They are rude and uncaring. They gave us a credit for our next visit but it is not worth it! I will not be returning until Wendys improves the training of their employees and management on the running of their business and customer service.
I just went there tonight to get a horrible service through the drive through. I had bought for 6 people so it came out to be $26. I had asked to sweet and sour sauce. The lady was rude and charged me .60 for 2 more even though I had ordered 2 chicken sandwiches. It didnt bug me that she charged me but the way she said it was very rude and said Its gonna be more did I still want them.
This Wendys Amelia, Ohio location has been great since it opened. No other Fast Food Burger joint in our area can come close to the quality of their food and the taste is far superior than their competition. Whether you get the Wendys single or the chicken sandwich its always hot, fresh, & tasty.
This Wendys is conveniently located in front of the Kroger shopping center/ strip mall. It is a very nice building with nice, friendly customer service. The parking lot/ drive through is a little wack. You have to drive around the building to get in line, then go around it again to get back out. Other than that, its great.
Not what they used to be thats for sure and thats not just this Wendys thats any Wendys. Theyve raised the prices on everything over the years made the portions smaller including the size of their patties. Nothings ever fresh and you rarely get what you actually asked for. Young and experienced staff always takes forever getting your food prepared and delivered. They do however have some good menu ideas, when the menu item is actually made fresh. I like how they switched their fries to Homestyle fries, a few years ago, but again, fries are supposed to be served hot. Cant go wrong with the junior bacon cheeseburger but I would order 2. I used to order one but like I said, everything is child size portions now.
I have to say service was exceptional. I have to give this Wendys a five star rating just for the soul fact that there was one drive through worker with an amazing rear end. I mean Id put that rear end on a lift and make sure the seals are still tight even though I just checked last week. But they forgot extra queso on my baked potato only downside
I rarely complain and I know this is a fast food restaurant but this was really bad. I ordered a doublestack and it wasnt even put together when I opened the wrapper, it look like it was thrown together, there was one single onion that looked like the saddest onion ever. The bun was so hard I couldnt even eat it. Its not that big of a deal and you didnt lose a customer it was just not good.
Used the drive through last night. Ordered food for my family, when we got home i noticed didnt make my wifes jr bacon cheese burgers, they didnt even put them on the receipt. I know i ordered them because i changed from 1 to 2. I drove back to get the burgers, i didnt complain, i didnt even bring it up. I just drove through again and ordered 2 jr bacon cheese burgers. When i got home we found that they didnt put bacon on either sandwich. Theres too many options in the area for me to have to deal with mistakes like this.
Worst drive thru in Amelia. They leave their customers waiting in drive through line for almost 35 min every night. I am currently at 25 min in line and haven’t placed order yet. Horrible place and not fast food! They are doing 1 car at a time update I’m at 30 min and waiting to just place an order! Stay away from this place!
I was given a gift card for food. When I arrived, there was a sign on the door that said cash only. I walked inside anyway to confirm. The manager told me that their internet was down. Without their internet, they couldnt accept any type of cards. Since I didnt have cash, only cards, I left without buying anything. The next day, I visited another location to use my gift card. Again, no Internet! I get the impression that either they employ incompetent IT people or they didnt pay their bill. Either way, very inconvenient. I may just notify the person who purchased the card, so they can get a refund. Its pointless to have a gift card from any business, if they dont maintain the technology to honor it.
Oof, this place is not vegetarian friendly. My wife and I ordered breakfast and made a number of simple changes to accommodate for the menus limited alternatives (even paid extra to do so). Not a single item in our order was correct, except for the drinks.What a waste of time and money...
Good food, but when you go inside you can hear how some of the managers snap at their employees. Its loud in there and the teenagers and even one manager, Wendy, yell and scream and jump around. You can hear them when you go through the drive thru via the window as well. I dont want to listen to all that. I just want my food.
Only 3 stars this visit.Ordered 4 ribs, pulled pork sandwich and rib tips.The ribs we great as always! The pulled pork was not up to par, very dry.The rib tips were like chewing DRY jerky! Horrible tips. I gave them to my dogs they were so tough. Sorry Elis, but these were bad. We will be back, I wont order tips again though.
Could not hear the drive through attendant through the speaker. Asked for a mango tea. Instead of telling me they were out of mango syrup she gave me a strawberry lemonade at the window and told me that was what I ordered. Lemonade and tea do not sound remotely the same. I am certain I did not ask for lemonade. Then she said, This is what you asked for. Whatever! She then complained to her manager about Me! No class, no customer service skills, disrespectful window attendant.
Wow just went thru drive thru had a simple order so I thought I just wanted the biggie bag told them for the sandwich I wanted a bacon jr so I get home I got some chicken mayonnaise sandwich with fries that looked like and tasted like they were left over from last week and something that was suppose to look like chicken nuggets and a flat Dr pepper smh does anyone there pay attention to there job 😡😠
Service was super fast the consistancy of the order was way off ended up paying too much for our order which i didnt feel the need to complain about but I can imagine people being ok with wrong orders happens alot more than those who arent overall would have to say this place needs some work.
There was something wrong with their registers so it took us like 45 minutes to order food I know it wasnt their fault and the guy was very nice to us they were just very stressed out over the registers as well Wendys needs to fix their computers so that their speed of services at Point.

2022-01-08Very friendly staff. Food is always hot and fresh! Food is made after ordering which ensures it to be hot. Lobby is open during daytime hours so the wait time for food is pretty quick. Longer wait time in the evening due to lack of staff. Its best to place a mobile order if you would like less wait time after checking in at drive thru.

2022-06-13The drive thru was a long wait but that’s understandable with being short staffed. The nuggets were not fresh tasting and even though I had good service at the window the other employee was rude to the guy employee telling him to remake my order after the car in front of me accidentally took it.

2022-05-23Visited durring the dinner rush, there were only 4 employees were working during this time. The person I assumed to be the manager on duty was both making the food and taking orders for the drive-thru. The other three employees I observed spent a considerable amount of time waiting on her to make the food.My wife stayed in the car in the drive-thru line, I got out and went inside after we had waited in the drive-thru line and not moved at all for almost 10 minutes. By the time I walked out with 2 sandwiches, 2 fries and a frosty; 18 minutes had elapsed since I had entered the store. I got back in the car and my wife was still 3 cars back from the speaker.My working theory is that the store was drastically understaffed. If fast food companies started to pay their employees a fair wage for the incredibly unfair working conditions they have to put up with, then management could staff the stores appropriately and the service wouldnt be so atrocious. I know this will raise prices which are already way too high for the product delivered, but at some point owners will have to sacrifice SOME of the exorbitant profits or decide the business model isnt viable for sustained success.

2022-06-24Highly ticked off right now. Went thru the drive thru in Amelia. I knew i should have checked my order but was in a hurry. Ordered a #10 asiago chicken bacon ranch grilled chicken mayo only and a bacon cheddar chicken sandwich. What I got was a bacon cheddar hamburger, and a hard flat piece of breaded chicken with lettuce tomato and mayo. Plus cold old fries.

2022-07-03We had a big group going there to dine- in and they apparently kick the AC on high so that you don’t wanna sit inside we also had a baby in the group with us it is very uncomfortable even to sit inside. I understand it is very hot outside so you dress for the weather but don’t expect to sit inside freezing very disappointed

2018-02-09Clean clean and clean. Has a fireplace in sitting area which makes a comfort feel. Inside service is slower than outside. Drive thru service is very fast ...no matter how backed up they are... quick...that is why many come here ...for the fast efficient service. Orders have always been perfect in and out. Excellent quaility for price. Superb chili.

2019-10-21The entry/exit is a nightmare! The entrance is past the drive thru so you have to circle the whole building to get in line, then you have to merge with other people trying to get to the drive they to get out. Costumer service was good, quick to take order and get food out. The burger was made slightly wrong, didn’t take special request and just made normally. But food was fresh.
