Dont come here if youre cheap, these arent the cheesesteaks for you. If you want the tastiest sandwich in the city, made with the freshest ingredients, cooked by the coolest crew this might be your spot. Damn good sides, desserts and drinks too if u have room. I cannot recommend Warios enough.THAT PASTRAMI SPECIAL IS TO DIE FOR
This is absolutely the only place in Ohio where you can get a real Philly cheesesteak, and their cold cut and roast pork sandwiches are just as good! Warios has achieved the Philly sub trifecta! Get the cheesesteak Warios way with house made whiz, American cheese, and provolone. They also have killer, extra crispy, smashed potatoes. If you want the real Philly experience, this is the place to go!
Wario’s is a spectacular hidden gem in the open. Right next to nationwide arena, one sandwich will hold you over for an entire game. The staff is super friendly and during great weather has a nice outdoor area. The fries are so well made, seasoning, sauce, quality, everything about them is fantastic. Now the sandwiches… these will fill you up and you’ll enjoy it all the way through, I got the cheesesteak Wario’s Way and it’s one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to get back here to try more sandwiches, but I the cheesesteak is definitely the staple of the restaurant. I would recommend this spot to anybody. Also I love the look of their Merch and will be grabbing a hat when they’re back in stock.
After months of drooling at pics of these cheesesteaks I was happy that it lived up to the expectation. The Warios way cheesesteak seems like the only way to go. Super fresh, flavorful, cheesy, and overall a great sub. Its a large sub with a generous amount of meat cheese (if you choose warios way). I cant wait to try more subs on their menu. The price is pretty hefty but worth it.
Amazing local joint. I have tried all of their sticks each one is a unique experience! Ingredients always taste freshly prepared. The steak is a fantastic representation of a cheese steak. My personal favorites are probably the cold cut and the chicken cutlet just because they are so unique. Definitely a must try for visiting Columbus!
This place is amazing! These are some of the best sandwiches in the City, and the freshly baked cookies are the perfect finishing touch. Also highly recommend the Meatball Sandwich that’s only offered on Sundays. The authenticity in their bread (rolls), ingredients, and flavors are reminiscent of what you’d experience in Philadelphia. The staff members are friendly and always genuinely appreciative as well.
When youre nowhere near Philly and crave a good cheese steak sandwich this is a good option. I like the Warios way mix of 3 cheeses. In Philly I normally get just Wiz. Bread was good, the meat could have been a bit more tender. The spuds were great. There are a few parking spots on the alley in front.
Wario’s has got to be my favorite restaurant I’ve ever visited sandwich place or not. The small menu is perfectly crafted as are the weekly specials(although a bit pricey, always worth it). Top quality, locally sourced ingredients go into each one of their massive subs. If you haven’t tried it yet, you must.
Im in the Columbus area for work and Warios was a recommended place to eat. Having lived in the Philadelphia area for 20+ years, Im always willing to try someone elses take on a cheesesteak and see how it compares to the Pats King and Ginos from Philly. While it doesnt top Pats or Ginos, it was definitely in the top 5 of cheesesteaks that Ive had. I got The Steak, without onion, and it was excellent! I would compare it to the same taste and texture as Tony Lukes in Philly, which is my #2 favorite restaurant to get a cheesesteak. If youre in the area or would like to try a cheesesteak, I would highly recommend getting one from Warios!
An unexpected gem hiding in what appears to be an office building. I have had their food several times before but had never visited, so I was surprised to find a simple walk-up window with a few tables lining the hallway. There was an outside order window, but it was closed.Apparently, they are so popular that they run out of food frequently, but we arrived early in the evening. We ordered the same thing we always get: the Steak, Warios Way and an order of house spuds. The sandwich is similar to a Philly cheesesteak, but on a long, skinny semolina-seeded roll. The spuds are chunks of potato that appear to have been cooked and then smashed and deep fried. After finally seeing a menu, I have vowed to one day try some of the other items, but my usual is just SO good!I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
This place is incredible. I’ve tried nearly the whole menu and have ZERO negative feedback. Tried the chicken cutlet most recently…wow. Amazing. The guy who always works the window is super friendly and always seems genuinely grateful that you’ve come to eat their food.
Fantastic! I had the Steak Sandwich for carryout. The sandwich traveled very well, it was a 30 minute drive home. Bread held up, just popped it in the oven for a few minutes and it tasted great! It was difficult deciding on which sandwich to get. The guy who greeted me at the window was very welcoming! Cant wait to go back.
This place is a must!! The vegetable mix (not sure the proper name) relish that is on some of the sandwiches...oh there are no words!!! I could eat it by the bowl full!!! So delicious 😋!! My sidekick had the steak..Warios way...I couldnt stop eating his sandwich lol. This place is fantastic!! Hats off to you. Make sure to top that fantastic sandwiche off with a yummy stuffed cookie!! Hope to visit Ohio for Warios again! Much love from The Texas crew!
2 and a half our drive down to Columbus just for Warios. Well worth it, and well be doing it again quite a few times Im sure. We got the cheesesteak warios way and the chicken cutlet with house spuds. Everything was perfect, you can tell the folks at Warios use quality ingredients. The rolls themselves are simple amazing.
If youre looking for a hefty sammich that is different from the rest and worth every penny, look no further. The team over there is phenomenal, and it reflects in the food. There is no bad item on the menu (ive tried all of them), and many of the people I know say that the steak can compete with Philly. Thats saying something... 10/10 would recommend!
Food purchased....The Steak - no onions, The Cold Cut, Chicken Cutlet, Wario Spuds, and a quart of their homemade house giardiniera for home. Amazing. Portions are large, staff are nice and music is good if you eat onsite (outside only on the weekends.) Dont forget to check out their special and anyone wanting to make their own giardiniera, just ask for the recipe. Winning!
I had the chicken cutlet sandwich a few months ago (trying to be healthy-ish). This could totally be the correct flavor profile and perhaps its just not my thing. But most of what I tasted was just horseradish or spicy mustard or something. The sandwich had such unique toppings, I was hoping to taste them a bit more. I really liked that the sandwich lasted me two meals for the price, but the heartburn I got was so intense, combined with the horseradish taste, I couldnt finish my second lap. I really want to like this place - maybe next time Ill order a cheesesteak and split it with someone to be safe.
A must-visit local spot! It doesnt get any better than their weekend specials, but Ive never had a disappointing meal. The steak, pork, and chicken are all delicious (and Im sure the cold-cut is, too). Friendly staff and a crew that is involved and supportive in the local community.
I cant overstate enough how great this place is. My wife and I were down in Columbus from out of town. We had the steak done the Wario Way, the cold cut, and an order of house spuds. The steak sandwich is the best Ive ever had. The Wario Way adds two extra cheeses, which is fantastic. The cold cut is unlike anything Ive ever had before. The house giardiniera and tomato butter adds so much flavor to an already loaded sandwich. The house spuds were also addicting, so much flavor. We cant wait to go back and try their other sandwiches when we come back in town.
Wow, I was very impressed with the food here! I saw the rave reviews online when I was passing through and knew we had to stop here. My family of 5 shared 2 sandwiches: chicken cutlet and the Wario’s way cheesesteak with a side of spuds. I know I already said wow, but wow! The flavor was so unexpected!! The chicken cutlet was similar to chicken parmesean, but to the next level. There were layers of thin crispy chicken, with a beautiful herb flavor in the chicken breading, some wonderful tomato sauce spread and broccoli rabe. The potato spuds were soft but crispy, salty and cheese and so good! They were served with a side of dipping sauce that tasted like caramelized onion - again, wow! The cheesesteak was my husbands favorite. So much beef, cheese, and onions. It was so good. My children ages 1, 8, and 14 loved it all. I loved that we all shared the food and had the chance to try it all. The flavors were so good and the herb additions made everything taste so fresh. It took about 15 minutes to get our food, it was not too busy and it was easy to get parking during lunch on a Friday. I will be back!!
After months of reading about Warios and seeing videos on YouTube, we finally were able to come up this past Saturday 11/13. It was very cold outside however we saw a ton of people presumably locals waiting to order, so we knew it had to be worth the wait and it definitely was.I ordered the Steak Warios way, my wife the Vegetarian Sandwich, and we split an order of house spuds add cheese whiz. Everything was incredible, and worth the 1.5 hour drive from Dayton.I dont typically eat vegetarian items however I tried the veggie that my wife ordered and it was phenomenal! Steak sandwich among the best if not hands down the best, and the spuds with the Warios sauce and cheese whiz was incredible!Highly recommend, excellent job all!!
Ive walked past this place for years and never stop to visit. Im glad I decided to visit before the most recent Crew match because this place is delish! The portion size for the price is amazing. The range of sandwiches is great, but make sure you follow them on social media for daily specials. Definitely will be coming back for future matches!
The cheese steak is great. You must try it. But what put them in a whole other class for me was their customer service. I accidentally forgot to order a sandwich without onions because my husband is allergic. I remembered practically as they were handing me my order and without missing a beat they remade his sandwich. That’s a level of service that you don’t see very often and I’m extremely grateful and will certainly be back again and again. Thank you!
Wow! Now this is an awesome cheese steak! The meat and onions are cooked perfectly, there is SO much cheese whiz (house made!) and with Warios Way, you get even more cheese. Which obviously means you should get it. The bread is also impressive, tasty, and sturdy enough to hold this massive delicious sandwich together! Like the foundation of a home!Theres some tables to sit at, but theres no dine in option. So keep in mind youre taking this to go. Its a big sandwich, so plan on sharing, or even better, be hungry! But whatever you do, dont miss this place!
Hit and miss. My wife and I got the Cold Cut and the Warios Way Steak so we could try both. The Warios Way Steak was probably the best cheese steak you can get in Columbus. Truly an outstanding sandwich. The Cold Cut had great ingredients that were overpowered by an excess of rosemary. It tasted like a rosemary and bread sandwich. Neither of us could finish our halves. We couldnt taste the meat or cheese at all.Maybe we got a bad batch, but rosemary is like putting bacon on something. Nice in moderation but can overpower all of your other flavors easily. The giardinera was outstanding, I just wish I couldve tasted it without having to scrape it off.Spuds were good. But again, borderline too much rosemary. Let your fresh ingredients sing.
First time having Warios. Brandon Dennis brought in 3 sandwiches sliced them up and the place was going crazy. So 12/7 the sales team at Dennis Hyundai decided we needed more than a sample. Jumped in a car and ordered 8 🥪. The gentleman said it will be about 10-15 minutes. Sure enough he handed me 2 bags that were pretty heavy. Drove back to Morse Rd. all you heard was sounds of ooohs and awwws. This place is awesome. You dont feel full and bogged down after eating as much as these giant subs you can handle. They are top notch. You have to try it. You will not regret it.
Love this place. I try to make it over on most Wednesdays to take advantage of the free Wario-way upgrade. Honestly the best cheesesteak I have ever had. The blend of flavors between the onions, cheese, meat, and bread is phenomenal. One of the best parts of working nearby in the Arena District.
Best sandwiches in Columbus, hands down. From the cheesesteak to the cold cut (that Ghirardelli!), and the always creative and delicious weekly specials, you really cant go wrong. Just be sure to have nothing physical planned for the rest of the day, and preferably time for a nap. It can be a bit of a wait during the lunch rush, but its always worth it.
First off, their sandwiches are really good!So are their cookies! If you havent tried one, they are great! The guy that usually works the register is cool AF...But I do have one big problem...One of my friends went in and tried to get lettuce and tomato on his sandwich and they wouldnt put it on it for him. They said they couldnt do that to such a great sandwich... Now, whether or not you think lettuce and tomato belong on a cheese steak is irrelevant and youre completely missing the point. If youre paying for your food, you should get it made the way YOU want it. Especially at $15. To tell someone you just wont put a certain topping on a sandwich is absolutely ridiculous. I think thats just a terrible look for their business and I certainly hope they reevaluate that insane decision/policy.
Amazing sandwiches. Dont be turned away by the price because its 100% worth it. These guys are doing it right, using local ingredients where they can, and it really comes together in to something special that youre probably not going to find outside of Philadelphia. You wont leave hungry, and lighter eaters could probably save the second half for a snack later.I had the roast pork and it really blew me away. There was so much more flavor than I anticipated coming from the pork jus and broccoli rabe. The pork was sliced thin and tender. I also had some house spuds, which are like a smashed and fried potato. I thought they were great, but I know some people complain that they are heavy on the herbs.Ill absolutely be returning.
Fantastic cheesesteaks. Very friendly staff. The quality of the food is top notch. Delicious bread and good cheeses. Some people have comnented that their food is expensive. I think for the quality and quantity it is reasonably priced. You get what you pay for. The sandwiches can be split between two people. Ill be back!
Take out place just across street from the arena. Solid food but arena-like prices. Steak sandwich was good but definitely upgrade to the Warios Way with extra cheese. The cold cut was also tasty with their own sauce. Portions are large so maybe splitting a sandwich would make more economical. This place is fine if you are in a hurry and just want to pick up some solid food. Would be legendary after a night at the bars but they close early 7.
Solid Philly cheese steak and sandwich place. The potatoes dont disappoint, and the beef is well cooked and flavorful. The crispy chicken is seasoned and breaded and fried well, and each is served with the right, balanced toppings by default. Slight warning on Warios way on a sandwich: its maybe too much cheese!
So far Ive only had the cheesesteak twice and its delicious. I just wish I could order halves, because I wouldve tried everything by now if I could. I cant justify saving half a sandwich for later. This has stopped me from visiting more frequently. Still go, just bring a friend or an appetite.
I was in Columbus only for a night. I was out for a walk around lunch time and passed Warios and thought I’d give it a shot, thank god I did…….I had the cold cut sandwich, it’s been 2 weeks and I can’t stop thinking about it! It was the best sandwich that I’d ever had. I can’t wait to get back to Columbus and have another, I’m also excited about trying the others on the menu but the cold cut sandwich is amazing!!I live in Texas and as I write this I’m tempted to hop in my car and race to ohio.
I recently discovered Wario’s and I am in love! Their Steak Sandwich is to die for! The bread is the right amount of crisp and soft, the steak is cooked perfectly and the cheese sauce with onions is heavenly! One sandwich is 4 meals for me, no joke!! I highly recommend. These guys have gained a customer for life!
Ive made my way through the cheesesteak warios way, the cold cut and the chicken cutlet. All were very good. Im not a huge fan of all the salad they put on the cold cut, but I would say that has been my favorite so far. Next time Ill order it without the pickled veggies on top. All were good, and very big!
My first Warios Steak sandwich and spuds made its way north to Cleveland last night thanks to Jarrett. It traveled well and did not disappoint. The steak was plentiful and had great flavor. The onions and cheese and bread all complimented the sandwich, and the spuds were more than just a tasty side. My wife was born in Philli and she said this was the best cheesesteak she has ever had. I have to agree. I forgot....the long hot on the sandwich was the icing on the cake. Cant wait to try The Cold Cut AND the Roasted Pork. Well done and best of luck. (sorry, no pics.....the sandwich is all gone.)
This place was recommended to my wife and and we thought we would give it a try. We travel every December to Philly for a weekend filled with trying different restaurants with one of our highlights being a Philly cheese steak. Warios is the real deal. Huge filled cheese steaks with homemade Wiz!! Fantastic! We will definitely be back!!
This place is outside so find a place to eat. Now with that said, the sandwiches are massive. I was starved when we went and could not finish my sandwich. I wanted the chicken but they were out. Instead I got the pork and was a little worried due to the listed toppings. Do fear the toppings, it just made for an excellent sandwich.
I stopped in there yesterday with my friend Bill K. for lunch. He is friend to the owner. We had their Ribeye Steak Sub. It was OUTSTANDING!!We also had their House Spuds with their special Wario’s sauce. Also OUTSTANDING!!We got a tour of the place and they have such a friendly and talented staff. The owner knows how to create the perfect work environment which means happy employees and the best food they can make. This place is probably the best kept secret in Columbus, Ohio. You had better check them out soon cause there business is starting to really take off!So stop soon, you will be glad you did!!Jeff
I would go broke if this place were easier for me to get to. I have tried the steak and the cold cut, both of which are out amazing. There is a perfect bread to meat to topping ratio that most sandwich shops cant master and the flavor combination of both sandwiches were perfect! Definitely going back to try more soon.
I dont know where to start, this place is just amazing. The food is wonderful and the staff is so kind and appreciative for your business. We went with 2 friends, between the 4 of us we got 2 Steaks - Warios Way, a Chicken Cutlet, a Cold Cut, and an order of the House Spuds. The steaks were spectacularly cheesy - melting in your mouth, the cold cut smelled amazing with the freshly made giardiniera, and the chicken cutlet exploded with flavor from the tomato butter! The house spuds were the perfect mixture of crispy outsides and soft, buttery potato goodness covered in rosemary and parmesan cheese. The sandwiches are huge and wont leave you hungry. It can be difficult to decide so Id highly recommend choosing 2 and splitting them with a friend. You wont be disappointed.
This place is insane. Guy who runs it and the staff are incredibly friendly. The cold cut is out of this world and the cheesesteak is the best in Columbus. The homemade whiz, fresh cut and cooked ribeye- YUM! The bread is also perfect. Ive recommended to countless friends the last week and have been frequenting since I had my first sandwich. Get there now!!
Learned about Wario’s on Reddit a month back and my wife and I made the trip from Delaware to grab a Saturday lunch. It was worth it. The cold cut was excellent and the pork sandwich was great. We shared the spuds with Wario’s sauce and they were spot on. Staff are super friendly as well. The place is LEGIT and I’m looking forward to our next trip to downtown Columbus to try more from Wario’s.
Ordered the cheesesteak and a roast pork. The sandwiches are literally as big as your arm. More important is the quality of ingredients and bread. We are lucky to have a sandwich shop like this here. It rivals anything youll find in the Northeast. Everyone needs to give this place a try. You wont be disappointed!!!
Wow! Would have given Warios Beef and Pork 6 stars if it was an option. Tried The Cold Cut, The Steak Warios Way and the House spuds. Love the house whiz. The guys working there were super friendly! This will definitely my place to grab a bite to eat before Blue Jackets and concerts in the arena district!
Great cheese steak sandwich. Got mine warios way and some smashed fried potatoes. Great quality ingredients and it tastes great. Best cheese steak by far that Ive had in Columbus and its not even close. I am mad that Ive walked by this place so many times over the years - glad I finally found it.Stop by, you wont be disappointed.
What else can I say but WOW! Based on the 4.9 rating, i had high expectations and Warios surpassed all of them. I got the Wario Spuds and they were delicious. The potatoes were smashed, crisp fingerlings, which was unexpected, covered in all the chessesteak goodness. The portion was enormous as well, so make sure you bring help if you plan to order this! Sooooo good. I will definitely be back.
Here it is, the morning after I ate their cheesesteak and I still cant stop thinking about it.Best. Cheesesteak. Ever.Youre probably thinking, wow $15 is a lot for a sandwich ($17 if you get it Warios way). Under normal circumstances youd be right. In this situation, the price is 1000000000000% worth it.I also tried their cold cut sandwich and it was delectable as well. It is now my mission to try everything on their menu.If youve been wanting to try this place, do it, its amazing.
Huge and amazing sandwiches! I weighed mine the first tome and it was nearly 2lbs, lol.Big fan of the cold cut, the lettuce/peppers/cauliflower topping they got going on inside that thing is crunchy, spicy and fantastic. The pork with au jus is also stellar. The cookies are great as well but also humongous. One day Ill try the salads. Arrive hungry. Its a lot of food so dont be afraid to ask for it to be cut in thirds or fourths so you can have some now, some later and then maybe the last bit tomorrow. Its just as good the next day!A great, friendly, local business that needs your support. Check them out! :)
100% recommend this spot and will be back once I’m out of my food coma! I ordered 1 of each sandwich (2 of some) on the menu to make into a sampler tray for a friends bday (they do have catering options but I was on too short of notice). WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! It was honestly the best way to do it because we got to try every sandwich and they were all amazing! It felt like I walked out of there with 30 lbs of food across 10 sammies and some potatoes. I was expecting to end up with a bunch of leftovers but the subs were such a hit I had just enough for lunch the next day! My faves were probably the Wario’s Way steak or the chicken cutlet. I thought the pork was bangin too. I would eat any of them again honestly. Loved it and thank you Wario’s for throwing together my ridiculous order! 🥰
If you want the best sandwich in Columbus... THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. Cheesesteak is the best I have ever had. House spuds with Wario sauce is super tasty. Chef is the nicest guy and knows exactly how to please any customer. Cant say enough good things about this place 5/5
This place is sublime. I cannot express in words how amazing their Steak Warios Way was. Ultimately, cheesteak fanatics need to visit this walk-up in the arena district. A word of caution: their subs are huge. So be prepared for your lunch to also turn into dinner. Maybe split it with a friend. Either way, if youre a fan of food, sandwiches, cheesteaks, or melt-in-your-mouth steak, just go. Thank me later.
If you live in the Columbus Metro area, you have got to get downtown to try this place! Ive eaten cheesesteaks in Philly and Warios beats those! Every single bite was better than one before it! And everyone was so friendly and professional. We were well taken care of during our brief wait. Definitely will be coming back!
Tried Warios for the first time today and...wow. So delicious! The bread, the meat, the sweet caramelized onions, and that homemade cheese sauce...yes. All day. I also got the spuds which were so good too! Crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, amazing herb and parmesan flavor. And that Warios sauce for dipping...so so so great. The service was super friendly and fast as well! Enter the Marconi building and Warios is the first stall on the right with the red wall. I was confused for a second at first but ended up finding it.The prices were so great for the huge amount of food I got and the great quality. Will definitely return and recommend this place to anyone in the area.
This is my first review, will edit next time I go. My partner and I got 2 The Steak Warios Way and an order of Warios Spuds.Wow, we ate half of our sandwiches and a bit of the spuds. It was so good though. Definitely wanted a nap after enjoying that with a beer in the sun on the weekend. (We took them home, dont think they sell booze there for dine-in at the patio area.)Was a bit pricey, but definitely lots of food and definitely a unique experience that makes it worthwhile. When we shows up, there were people standing around, they were waiting on their order. With no line to set up an order, we did so, and joined the party of people waiting. They had the orders coming out rather quickly, we didnt get to wait very long, maybe long enough to finish a drink if you are thirsty 5/10 mins.Well definitely be back, but will be ordering half of what we did that time.Oh, one thing is that the canopy above their ordering window place has the old business name on it... It doesnt say Warios so heads up on that Id you get confused.
Disappointed. I ordered the steak sandwich (traditional, not warios way) and it was ok but I wouldnt recommend it or order it again. Sadly there was not 8 oz of beef on the sandwich as the menu claimed, only like four maybe five and what little beef was on the sandwich was completely drowned out by the cheese whiz sauce. Now dont get me wrong the cheese whiz was good but there was way way too much of it and it drowned out any and all flavor of the beef. Also hardly any onion, but the couple of bites I did get with onion flavor in it was good as the onions were cooked very well. The bread was ok but lacked the flavor I was expecting from a seeded semolina roll and there was way too much of it as most of the sandwich was bread and cheese whiz. This sandwich was not worth $15, even if it was $10 I still would have been disappointed. The service was good though. Maybe I shoulda had the chicken or pork instead...
I tried this place a few weeks back and I had to come back and write a review! I finally ventured out with my special needs daughter, which we rarely do, I got to the counter and realized I had forgotten my wallet at home. I was really disappointed. I told them Id be back but before I got to the car they offered me a sandwich. It meant so much to me because I never get out the house and what couldve turned into a horrible experience was made great! Funny ending is that I actually had my wallet with me the whole time 🤦🏽♀️so I was able to pay, but the fact that the offer was given made my heart melt! So, a very special thank you from this Momma ❤ my family will be back
This is the best sandwich shop in Columbus right now! Chefs attention to details from the bread to each ingredient of the sandwich is unparalleled. Had both the cheesesteak (get it Warios way!) and the cold cut sandwich (add the hot peppers) - will absolutely be back for both!
Ok,I gave 5 stars in anticipation of wonderful food, but I didn’t get any!!!! I arrived at 3:45 to a “sold out” sign!☹️ How early should I go or are ALL items sold out early? Can anyone tell me if this is the usual. I just thought I was avoiding the “lunch bunch” that works in the area.UPDATE: picked up a beef steak and a chicken cutlet sandwich and spuds today. Wow! Excellent! Huge sandwich’s and potato servings. Tender beef, tasty chicken and delicious fixings on both. I’ll be trying the other sandwichs. Also, friendly and fast service.
The food is delicious. I had the Roasted Pork sandwich and Wario Spuds. Was split between the pork and steak, but if the steak is anything similar to the pork itll be delicious. The Spuds are delicious as well, Wario Spuds are a pile of fingerling potatoes, cheese, steak, caramelized onions, and whole roasted garlic cloves. Would recommend.
I got the steak, warios way with extra crispy bread and the falafel sandwich and let me tell you what magic is. That ‘cheese whiz’ made with real cheese is next level creamy, flavorful, heaven. The ribeye cooked to resemble Philly cheesesteak style meat melts in your mouth and the caramelized onion adds that little sweetness that just made my year. Now onto the vegetarian option, Their falafel sandwich takes the cake for best falafel I’ve ever had and Rivals the ribeye, having a completely different flavor palette but I can’t get enough of either. Great food!!!
My first visit, Im just not sure, but I think this type of cold cuts sandwich must be an acquired taste (3 thin lizzy pieces of meat, some cheese and whatever ingredients in the middle, for that price... 4 Real...No sir/maam, you have to be kidding (give me Jimmy Johns, Jersey Mike) sorry but you need to rethink this sandwich before I buy another (like I said, acquired taste... I threw more than half away)...👎👎👎
I got the Steak to go. Tastes great, very large, goocld bread, meat, and cheese. Id like to comment on the packaging, they use heavy duty aluminum foil that kept my sandwich warm the whole ride home and didnt let any cheese wiz leak out. Its a little expensive though
Terrific cheesesteak without leaving Columbus. The ribeye beef is the best. The onions were caramelized perfectly. We got our sandwich with provelone cheese and got their wiz on the side. My wife hates the jar cheese. There was a guy standing near us that heard us discussing why wiz is do good. He told us they make their own wiz and it was really good. My wife loved their wizardly cheese concoction. Their Wario wiz and other sauce take the terrific cheesesteak to new levels of yumminess. They use a baguette type bread and toast it up. The staff are super nice and helpful.Definitely a great gem to test for yourself.
I now know that I have only been consuming tourist cheesesteaks when visiting the east coast because this is how cheesesteak should be done. Warios Beef and Pork hits all of the right marks and its located in Columbus, Ohio! Tender steak with rich homemade cheese sauce and provolone on the Warios way has won my heart. Upgrade your order by paying for extra pork jus with the Roast Pork. This will completely elevate your experience; and do not leave without an order of the Wario Spuds. You just need to order one of everything and share with a friend or two. This is an experience that I wont soon forget and I cant wait to have more. I wish these folks all of the success!!
The cold cut is just like a sangwhich (yes. SANG) you get from a mom and pop joint in a little Italy or Italiano neighborhood. The bread, cheese, meats, everything is fantastic and authentic. The employees were friendly with personality, which is awesome. LMK if you want to franchise. I’m down 😉
This isn’t some Elon Musk fake Wario SNL skit. This is some real authentic Wario ware. It’s the real deal. They were very kind and accommodating. My cousin was very pleased. “That’s a big hoagie” he said. I nodded politely. “That’s a big hoagie.” He said again. Over and over he said it. “That’s a big hoagie.” These sandwiches won’t crash the cryptocurrency market. These steak sandwiches will make you say “that’s a big hoagie, Waaaario.” VIRTUAL CURRENCY IS A BUBBLE DON’T INVEST. DON’T.
I was gonna make a funny joke like “haha Wario funny name” and then I look at the pictures and I’m like “dang I’ve never been here and don’t plan to go but those are some really good looking sandwiches”. Can’t give an actually review of the food or anything but just keep making good looking food I guess.

2022-08-07First time trying Warios! We stopped here before a concert for a quick bite to eat. The menu is easy to follow and the choices have a decent variety. I ordered the Cold Cut and my husband ordered the Wario Steak sub. We waited maybe 10-15 for our food to be ready. The subs are massive. 😵💫 I couldnt even eat half of mine in one sitting lol. The toppings were great on the Cold Cut and I liked the cheese. My husband loved his steak sub. 🤤 I got to try my friends potato thingies and they were an interesting take on a potato option from a food place. 🥔Overall, I give 4/5 because I wish there was an option to order half a sub and the prices are definitely steep. You do get a lot of food, but Id like to have gotten less food and spent less. 🤷🏻♀️

2022-06-27Best food Ive had in Columbus. Super friendly staff took my order and was just as excited for me to try the sandwich as I was! Fast, fresh and hot. I did a Warios Way steak sandwich and it was perfect. The bread was chewy yet crusty, the meat was perfect and the onions were sweet. Cannot wait to go back after church on Sundays. Thanks yall.

2022-05-22Please come here. This place has great people and incredibly indulgent food. The subs were great, but please look at the pictures I attached of the potatoes... Crispy, salty, creamy, decadent roasted potatoes! They even let me show a before and after picture of them! This place is amazing and is worth every penny.

2021-12-30They hit the mark on the Philly cheese sandwich. Best I have had in Columbus. Would recommend having the sandwich the Wario way as they add more cheese to an already great sandwich. The falafel sandwich is worth a try but is a little dry at times, ask for extra sauce.

2022-03-06Literal hole in the wall, with the best cheese steak Ive ever had.Discovered this place on our way to the first Crew game at Lower.com field. So glad we tried it out and have been back several times since. Even took a buddy here (also for a Crew game) who lives out in Hilliard, and he loved it so much that he wanted to bring his wife back the next day.Ive only ever had The Steak, but when you have something that good on the menu, the rest essentially becomes filler. Also have only ever had it Warios Way, as you should every single time. The potatoes that you can get as a side are great too. But generally Ill split one sandwich with someone (the high price is actually a decent value), and by the time youre done with it theres usually not room for much else.Absolute must-try type of place. You will not in any way be disappointed.

2022-04-23The wife and I were up in Columbus , OH for the day and decided that Warios is a must try. The food was hot and fresh and very delicious. I definitely recommend the steak “Warios style”. If you are ever in the downtown Columbus area, check them out !

2022-07-26Yo if you guys are visiting Columbus or in the city in general for whatever event, this is the place. Employees are fantastic, service is quick and consistent but most importantly the cheesesteak my guy….the warios way cheesesteak, you gotta get it. It’s as east coast as an east coast cheesesteak. It’s very good, the wario spuds are also very good. For the people working there you’re doing the good work, destroying the competition, keep it up.GET YOU A CHEESESTEAK

2022-05-02The sandwich I got was huge and good!! Just not as good as I was expecting, i might just have to go back and try a different sandwich. I didn’t really like the broccoli on it. The cookie was super good!

2022-04-02Got the Wario way cheese steak. Flavor was good but the roll was not what I am used to for a cheese steak. The service was fast and we sat at the tables by the window. There is no indoor seating.
