One star for hospitality. So, I recently screwed my foot and currently walk on a crutch.Me and my fiancé parked at the Home entrance of Walmart because we needed to grab a few things. It was about 10:30PM, but we knew wed be quick, regardless of me being on a crutch.So, were walking out at 10:55, and the registers are closed near the home section, so we have to use the ones near the food and produce. Thats no biggie, whatever. We checkout. So then, we proceed to crutch over to the side where we parked, (the OPPOSITE side of the store), and some guy was wheeling carts out of the doors. He looked at us and said ,These doors are closed. You need to use the other exit. Which again, is across the store.We were both dumbfounded, as Im struggling to go anywhere at this point and we had just walked all the way over. So then we had to waddle back to the other side to leave.I dont know, maybe Im just being petty, but Its not like Walmart was even closed yet. And we were LEAVING.Please do better.
This is a pretty good joint. Not quite the biggest walmart I seen in USA but its not one of the small ones. My family has worked here an they got this cool as ice employee named AL been workin there forever. Never had a problem with any other employees here over the decade I came here.They havent done that stupid receipt check on me in forever. Man that was so insulting.If there is anything i can say to change : when I left ohio/usa for 2 years an had to come back here you now only have 2 basic flavors of the walmart fresh made loaves of bread. Some of the best bread in town was made here so im horrified to see the everything bread go.keep up the good work guys; an give AL a raise hes so human an personable.
It is 9:45AM and I literally just called Walmart three times to speak with an associate but nobody picked up the phone. I tried three different departments and let my phone ring more than 30 times each call but nothing. Well, I guess things havent changed, if youve ever shopped inside a Walmart, hearing phones ringing off the hook in empty departments or associates standing around looking bored is pretty standard Walmart customer service. I guess I shouldnt be surprised anymore.
This is Walmart on the intersection of nether and sawmill road. This store is big but it won’t have auto center compared to other Walmart. It has all departments except auto. This store from inside looks big as you can see all departments from one place. You will get whatever you need as it’s spacious especially deli and vegetables. This store will suffice all your needs at Walmart.
I think it is an epidemic because all of the Walmarts we have visited lately they are all dirty shelves in disarray. And if you are looking for something nine times out of 10 youre not going to find it, for this company to be as large as they are and the money that they take in you would think that even though there is a shipping problem that their stores would be in orderly condition. Most of the employees that were there act like they dont know their job and when you come inside most of them are standing around talking to one another, so thats what you have to look forward to. This used to be a favorite place of ours but not anymore.
Had to run in and get a few things for my college son. Out of the 8 things I brought to the checkout, 6 of them were more than the price the shelf or rack said. What in the world ! Wont be going there any more because I dont know what the prices are until I have already bought them. Dont really like Walmart anyway.
Helpful staff and a well organized store. I assume you all understand what Wal-Mart provides. This is my favorite Walmart. Period. The more than just helpful but Special staff goes above and beyond consistently. I always look forward to going. Often had items in stock other Wal-Mart stores and retailers did not. 5 stars.
Location scams hard.. advertises sales online then cancels but offers product same day at higher rate. What a joke Walmart is.. happens all the time with their Walmart+ deals as well.. its a scam overselling their stock and holding customers money for 5 to 7 business days while refunds go through..Update: here we are two months later, tried to buy a foreman grill and the sticker says 14.96.. rings up $20.96. Website says 16.96.. they just make up their own prices willy nilly and dont honor their own in store sticker prices even with visible proof
Sat by the locked razor case ringing the press for employee button for about 10 minutes. I then decided to look for a worker. I ended up finding one only a few aisles down and asked if he could unlock it and get one of the razors for me. He then replied, I dont have the key, youll have to go to customer service. Instead of paging someone, grabbing somebody that does have the keys or anything, thats what he says. I awkwardly walked away and asked one of the people in the pharmacy aisle as I was walking to customer service. He started out saying the same thing as the last guy I asked help from, but instead he did get up and say he was going to get someone who could unlock the case. So I walked back to the case and after about another 10 minutes a man came and got out the razor I needed. That was the only thing I came into the store for and I was in the store, because of Walmart and its employees, for a half an hour. Theres simply just never a reason to go to a Walmart anymore.
I won’t go in this Walmart again. Black guy working in electronics at 945am this morning was a complete d bag to me. I asked him a simple question where is the Ethernet cords at. He said K16. I go over to K16 and I didn’t notice until I got over their that the cords were locked in a case. So two Walmart associates walk by and he happened to be one of them and i say “excuse me can one of you please help me get something out of the case”. The guy say “I’m walking over their why did you ask her?” In an extremely rude way. Like I understand if you hate your job but if it’s that bad that you need to disrespect people don’t work their. I will be calling the corporate office also
This is a strange Walmart. Its the first time I see such dirty walls in the cubicles and such a rude, old male janitor. He tried to command women and did not want to allow the child to go to the toilet. A man needs to be reminded that discipline is needed in the army, and in civilian life, you need to understand the needs of people.
This is terrible so many workers yet have to wait at the customer service for 30 minutes for me to get a money order because someone is on brake and the rest of them dont know how to do it yet asked them to have a supervisor come do it for me and guess what 20 minuts waiting there and nobody even came it was only like 3 people at customer service and a girl that was working there talking about she only there for returns and nothing else and Im yea why is so she gon go ahead and tell me she dont even work there this place is total trash honestly what is all these 200 employees doing on the shift making tictocs in the back or whats up
Its Walmart, theres always some good people watching but the prices have gone so high lately. I used to be able to get out under $300. These days its $500 or $600 minimum. I generally shop here for animal food/treats/litter and bulk food buys. Doubling up on pricing is not a good way to keep people coming back. 🤔 Especially when your earnings keep going up and we have to do our own checkout and bagging!
Went there to get hair clippers...waited 6 minutes after hitting help button...looked around for an actual worker...couldnt find one....left then there was homie the homeless sitting right out front of the exit...this store is turning into trash...columbus has turned into trash...Im shopping at Target from now on.
Went here yesterday for some Christmas shopping. With my items in cart, I went to self checkout, being the only option anymore. I asked how to get a gift receipt and was told I needed a cashier to check me out for it and to go to a lane with a cashier. Is that a joke? They had 1 Lane open, 1, as in uno, single, solo...1 Lane. Many people with groceries in that one lane. I placed my items on the nearest shelf and walked out. Either have employees to check people out, or give me the ability to make my own gift receipt as a Walmart cashier when Im checking myself out. Ridiculous how Walmart is consistently terrible regardless of where you go. I hadnt been to a Walmart in years because the one near me is terrible, but figured Id give this one a shot. Considering all Walmarts are consistent, Id say the problem is terrible training and upper management to allow stores to be run like this. No more for me, there are plenty of options to shop at to be able to avoid this disaster of a company. I wish they would focus on rebranding themselves as a reputable company, but the focus instead is on how to remove employees to increase the dollar. Customer service holds no value to Walmart
I would have to say the experience last night was the worst that I have experienced at any store. The whole reason for going there is to take back an item that was bought there about 3 days ago and it was bad. Called and talked to a manager who stated that we only had to bring the item to Customer Service and would receive a refund.When getting to the service area, there was about 10 people in line and only 2 employees working. When we got to the counter and explained what we wanted to do and what we were told (as it was all written down), the clerk refused and said that he could not refund without a receipt. The sign which I pointed out to him stated refund with or without receipt within 90 days would be approved. We ask to speak with a manager on duty. After explaining it to the manager, a cash refund was given.Then we went to the electronic department as we were told that that is where we could purchase a rechargeable battery. The clerk there had no idea what we were talking about and kept giving us regular batteries, even after he was showed what I was looking for.Was going to buy a DVD player but the experience so far was so bad that I just threw my hands in the air and left. Never would I step into another Walmat. Change your training!
This location has issues with curbside pick up, delivery, and stocking. Overall Customer service is lower than poor. Store management is questionable. A few good hard workers in this location, but its over shadowed by the bad attitude of department managers. If you want or have to shop at Walmart, avoid this one.
Waited in line 25 minutes for a return. Then told me I hadnt used the card that I actually used. But then ran the credit and it was returned onto the card she told me I hadnt used. Finished the transaction and walked away. Didnt know if she was finished. They dont say may I help you, thank you....nothing curious. Very hard to communicate with employees because of broken English.The store was a mess.
I’ve come to this particular Walmart for a decade, the clientele have changed completely and so the mood and care within. It’s certainly changed dramatically. But the staff are the same and they work hard to be helpful. HOWEVER this particular store the person in charge of re stocking shelves should be fired. For years it’s taken sometimes months before they get things back on shelves and it’s always that way. So all in all of day it’s not a great Walmart unfortunately.
This is a very clean Walmart! This place has a large selection and variety of all the different things I want. Although Im finding more and more often that grocery stores these days are limiting the amount of cashiers at a register and just using the automated ones which I find very inconvenient! I do not blame the low paid employees who work there! I blame the people who own the companies!
I have had several terrible experiences with this Walmart within the last year. A few times I came to pick up groceries for my mother and I sat in the designated area and waited nearly and hour for her 3 or 4 bags of things that she ordered the day before. This happened with my own order as well this summer when I ordered a pool for pick up and a few other things to fill up the price needed. I waited an hour for the things to come out and then when it was finally brought to me there was no pool! I didn’t get a single notification that they sold out of the pools despite me having reserved one for pick up otherwise I would have canceled my order. This is very poor notification and planning on Walmart’s part.Most recently, as in this last weekend, my partner and I made a grocery order to be delivered to the house, two blocks from the Walmart center itself. We placed the order Saturday evening for it to be delivered Sunday from 12-1. Well it’s Monday at 7:30 am and the groceries still haven’t arrived. There is no reason why the delivery is delayed and there is no estimated time the delivery will be made. The app says to check back for updates… they must have a different definition of update from the normal citizen. I do not suggest ordering grocery delivery from them ever.My experience inside the store hasn’t been great either. There’s hardly a person to be found for help. It smells bad inside and I have accidentally bought things that were broken inside the packaging and they don’t simply refund you for your damaged purchase. You have have the refund in the form of a Walmart gift card. What if I don’t want to buy it from there again? My mother at this point has boycotted Walmart in favor of Winco because everything is self check-out and honestly I’m with her on that. Sometimes it’s better to have a cashier.It’s safe to say I will be taking my shopping yo Fred Meyer from now on. This is ridiculous.
Horrible! Go with Whole Foods, Kroger, or basically any other store. We ordered grocery delivery. An hour and a half after groceries were supposed to be delivered, still no groceries. Called the store and they refused to help. Told us to call help line, which is useless and likely non US based, and they told us that they could not get in contact with the store so there is nothing they could do. The order included frozen items, including an ice cream birthday cake, which could not have survived this long unfrozen. Just flat refusal to even tell us or help us when we could expect our order. We are done with them. Will be ordering from Whole Foods or Kroger from now on. Learned our lesson. Hopefully this can help others avoid headaches.
I waited for 30 minutes, after multiple pages for customer service, after I had to track an employee down on the other side of the store multiple times to actually make the page, to the Sporting Goods counter before finally getting some help. Customer Service scores a 0. This is not the first time either. Step it up Walmart. Sam Walton is rolling in his grave.
Most check outs are self Scan. Area is to small to ring up a cart full of items but wait is to long for the 2 or 3 non self Scan registers. Store has moved to online pick up which is great but employee have these carts in aisles and there is hardly any room for all the customers to shop and be socially distant. . I also had a few items ring up at the incorrect price. Customer service was nice and took care of the pricing issue but these three issues have now been the norm for this store. Their customer service team is only thing keeping this from being a 1 star review.
So tired of going in here and product is out of stock. The employees will look at you and tell you that they’re too busy to check the back-stock for a product. It’s ridiculous. Don’t trust the website saying “in stock” because theyre too good to check the backroom for you and the shelves are empty.
Called several times after instructed by app to call. The person to come to the vehicle was perfect. It was the front customer service staff, that hung up on me twice. Manager Michael was never available to discuss the issues and substitutions were not notified until pick up. Horrible staff . If I could leave a negative review of 0 zero stars I would.
Found everything! Thank you! But please stock your shoes! And boots! And more english speaking persons. No one in appropriate positions knew english. And all clothing booths closed a half hour early! And the non english speaking lady said it was closed! That was just as the person speaking perfect english said it didnt close for a half hour!
Always disappointed with online ordering. Many missing/out of stock items, only to go into the store and find them immediately. I mean they said they were out of Walmart brand waterbottles and offered no replacement, went inside and the isle was fully stocked, 3 palettes of waterbottles. Employees are too lazy to carry the water. Other items missing like sweet potatoes, found those as well on my trip inside. Basically your online order will get most of it if youre lucky but good luck figuring out what they missed or screwed up and plan to have to head inside anyway when they surely disappoint. Never had a 100% correct order.
Highly upset that I purchased some tomatoes from here, and though I admit it was my fault for not looking at them, but they was spoiled when I bought them. I got home and was putting the groceries away when I noticed them being molded on the bottom. What makes it worse is how many more was there left that same way, and why wasnt anyone working there checking them?! I will definitely be taking more time to thoroughly look at ALL of my items before placing them in the cart before I randomly trust picking them up and just purchasing them.
This place is all right, not the best Walmart in town, but it’s relatively clean. It’s just some of the staff in the building that don’t really care about their jobs. Only compared to other Walmarts, customer service is number one so I just don’t get it at this Walmart. I compare this Walmart to the one on sawmill with the lack of customer service from their employees. You’re representing Walmart, not yourself, some of the employees just need to be happier or find a different position.
Very disappointed in this location. I have been shopping here since they opened. I understand with the pandemic things have been difficult. However, there are MANY items I have gone in for, rather early in the day or later, and they NEVER have. Products have been hard to reach (Im short and can not reach top shelf in back). I had asked an associate if they were out of a product told me yes without looking. This has been going on for months now. I now will just drive to the one in Powell. Not to mention the cleanliness of the store has gone down as well. That WAS the only Walmart Id shop at.. its to bad.
Optician in Vision Center was so prompt, courteous, and helpful! She put the lenses back into the frames of my prescription eyeglasses with no waiting!!I so dreaded dealing w often busy optical centers. However, my allergies demanded I take a break from the contact lenses. I appreciate the quick fix!!
Walmart is fine. Inexpensive and convenient but heavily infested with slovenly, inarticulate women riding aggressively on electric carts, madly screeching children of unknown origin and other types of undesirables. Their app has no damn idea what any of their products are or where they might be located, so you may as well delete that thing.
I will not be using Walmart’s order pick up anymore. Walked up to a women that worked there and was sitting next to the check in counter and asked to check in to pick up my order and she very rudely told me she didn’t know and just walked away. Didn’t offer to help me or get someone to help me. At least 5 employees walked by me and said nothing to me. After waiting at least 5 minutes after checking in and ringing the bell someone finally acknowledged me. Will be taking my money to a store with better customer service.
I know the purpose of chain stores is that they should all be the same, but I swear this walmart is worse than the rest. Their garden center is almost nonexistent and their party supplies are incredibly lacking, which are just about the only things I go to walmart for...
It had some of what I was looking for. I specifically went in to get a carton of jumbo eggs. They were completely sold out so I ended up getting a carton of large eggs. The extra large eggs were also sold out in the 12 packs. I was able to get distilled water, though I had to buy the baby department distilled water as the regular was sold out. I also picked up a 2 pack of ballpoint pens. The checkout was relatively quick. I used one of the self checkout registers.
I got scammed by walmart at 2700 bethel rd Columbus Ohio after arriving in Columbus as international student. I bought or I thought I bought a brand new Hisense TV as it was displayed in the box. However, after opening the box in my home I was shocked that what I bought was not new nor in a good condition as I found that the screen was broken. I tried returning the TV but once more I was shocked again to find out that the product I bought was different than the TV that I wanted to buy and different than what was displayed in the box, the box was for Hisense TV while the actual TV was a broken westinghouse TV. I also tried contacting customer service but they kept ignoring me and are not trying to find a solution for my issue!!! THIS IS THE WORST STORE!!!
IF I could give this store less than one store.... TRUST ME I WOULD. They NEVER pick up the phones. They NEVER have things in stock. The managers are NEVER available when you need them. I have to use for delivery through the Walmart app because it’s closer to me. But EVERY order that I have placed with this store has had a problem. This is ridiculous. There is not a good look, WalMart. It makes no sense that the service that is supposed to be provided by your management team and associates are less than below average.
Every time I come to this store, which is rarely, the staff, well let’s be honest, they suck at customer service. Anytime you ask for help or ask a question they seem bothered and not friendly. These are simple questions like asking for a dressing room or removing a security seal for the makeup that is now all locked so it’s impossible to buy anything in that area without asking. The only good experiences I’ve had here were in the electronics department. Those associates were friendly and helpful, and present!.. all the other departments either have no one around at all or it’s an unpleasant experience. It’s WalMart so I guess I shouldn’t expect any better and this review probably won’t make a difference, but I’ve already spent time typing this so might as well submit it 😬
Horrible customer service from the CSR and his manager and then when I wanted to report them I was given the run around. The number I called I waited on the phone for a half hour and someone only to pick the phone up and hang up on me then I called back and no one answered. I will not return to that Walmart. Customer service at mostly all Walmart is horrible.😫😑🤔
Customer service in, not only this Walmart, but every Walmart I go to is atrocious! I remember when customer service was a priority in Walmart, now the associates try to avoid you anyway they ca . If you are able to get an associates attention long enough to help you, the either cant understand what you are saying, or the arent aware of where the products are, even if its their own department. Even the department managers are this way. There are very few exceptions, but they are hard to find. They dont try to look it up, or try to help you find what youre looking for. My wife was just at the Bethel store and asked three people where to find a particular item. Two associates told her that they didnt know, and one associate told her the wrong location. I looked it up from home on the Walmart app and told her where it was from home! The associates couldnt do it from the store because they didnt want to! This is a big reason why Walmart is losing so many customers! Imo, Walmart needs to rethink the way their associates treat the customers! It all comes down to incompetent management!
Always busy Always under staffed . You know because Walmart doesnt make enough eye roll. What staff they do have are friendly considering the horror they face daily. The customers at this location oddly the worst. You will get run over in the parking lot. Someone may fight you over the last roll of paper towels. You will get COVID. Go anywhere else.
Been doing the curbside pickup, so thats what this review is based off of. This is certainly one of the better Walmart locations and the staff for pickup is always really nice and friendly. Unfortunately, it is often the case that our order will not have every item nor substitution, and many times when we place an order it is for a specific item- so it can be frustrating and a big bummer when this happens. That being said, I think thats more of a Walmart.com issue than this location.
Too many turn overs of employees and they give the wrong info on products. Today they had one product for $1.84, 3.58 and then 4.58. Then they over charged me and I was the one who figured , who figured out for them and had to go through the receipt and show them, then they said your right. The pharmacy is great ! Great employee and very help, with all your needs and the in store employees, are far and few between. Some dont know where items are. So I shop at 2 different Walmarts. Britton Pkwy and Bethel and Sawmill. Sawmill is very accommodating and helpful.Thank you for reading.
I stopped in for oil filer and oil for my daughters car. This is the worst automotive section at any Walmart in Central Ohio. None of the filters were in numerical order. This was the case for not only air filters but also oil filters. The filters were also not in the places the shelf marker indicated they would be. A complete mess.
We were pleasantly surprised by our visit today. As many masks as we usually see at Kroger. Employees all seemed to be following guidelines on distancing, masks, and cleaning. Store was tidy if a little barren from the shortages that have been hitting everyone. Overall, we got (most of) what we wanted without too much hassle or unnecessary exposures. In a bind, I guess Walmart will do!
This may be biased because I am not a fan of Walmart. I find the customer service at this location lacking. I also find their selection of food often disappointing, especially the quality of their produce. HOWEVER, I honestly do not shop there often so that may not be the norm.
I always thought because of this walmart being on Bethel Road that this store would be in better shape, cleaner, and have more availability of items...that is def not the case. Most of the employees were stuck up and not sure why but I always felt like every step I took or move I made I had this feeling like you do in a haunted mansion and the picture of the old mans eyes follow you around...I did come across one employee who was amazing and Im sorry I forgot his name but he worked in the electronics department. He was very helpful, polite and answered every question I had..because of how I made to feel, uncomfortable, like my kind didnt belong I will NEVER be returning to this location EVER AGAIN. Whats even sadder about the whole experience I was complaining about it to my friend as we were walking out and another lady in front of us heard our conversation and agreed with us..in my opinion I dont care if you are white, black, brown, purple, have 3 eyes, 2 toes, drive a Mercedes or a old Honda Accord, make 150k a year, or 20k a year...we should ALL Be TREATED WITH THE UPMOST RESPECT POINT BLANK PERIOD. If I could give zero stars I would..ATTENTION WALMART EMPLOYEES OF BETHEL ROAD HOW ABOUT YOU TRY TO SMILE, NOD, SAY HI to someone walking by or in your line you never know it might actually make someones day along with yours ..smiles are infectious and can make a HUGE difference in one persons day
Their grocery pickup is exceptional. I feel like they try very hard to find good subs, and they are very courteous and upbeat when they put stuff into your car. My only regret is that they give me a code word every week (i think they do some kind of morale booster where if enough customers write the code word they get a small pizza party or somerhing) but I never get the emails from Wal-Mart corporate to fill the survey. Ive dealt with Wal-Mart corporate to try and correct this but the emails will not go through. But, this location and the people are excellent.
If you going to have people work out on the floors, THEY SHOULD UNDERSTAND ENGLISH!! Every time I need help looking for something they look at me like Im the stupid one and say I dont know or dont understand. If Walmart wants me to use self checkout then I want employee discount and a pay check because you gotta wait forever for someone to come help you when the machine needs a supervisor.😠😡😠
This location is much smaller than 99% of the locations that Ive visited. They have a little of everything, but not nearly as many options. Overall, the staff has been super friendly and I have been greeted joyfully every time Ive visited. If not for the location size my review would be much different
I was discriminated against by a manager ! she even said we come into the returns and exchanges to much ... the Asian or Chinese manager really needs to watch her mouth and how she talks to people I’m suprised someone hasn’t popped her a good one learn how to treat people the year just started she said that we have probably already used up our returns with out a receipt to with out even taking my id yet ... I will be calling corporate
Great prices and they had total control over the Black Friday sales rush. Not a bad experience at all considering I usually avoid all the holiday madness. More registers than normal were open to handle the overflow and the employees were very helpful finding what was on the ads and where to find it all. Not at all your typical Walmart shopping trip. Very surprised.
Why is only one entrance open? I do not understand logic on how this is helping anything in the pandemic. It honestly makes me walk clear thru store and spend more time getting the one item needed. I work in healthcare and know the precautions needed, and this one doesnot make any sense to helping. Please open both entrance. Sure keep your one way shopping and mask.
If you’re going to redirect traffic going into your store, you need to put up clear signs. We tried going inside but apparently that was the exit. I looked before I tried to go in and did not see any exit only signs or signs pointing to an entrance. The other door appeared to be roped off. The customers who were leaving were old so they got angry that we went in the exit but we honestly didn’t know. So thanks for making a big deal out of it and making us feel dumb when you are the ones with horrible signage. It’s not exactly intuitive to go all the way around a bunch of caution tape and gates. This is a hard time for everyone and you need to make it as easy as possible on your customers to conform to your new guidelines. Will never be returning to this Walmart or any other Walmart.
The employee Jessie was extremely condescending, and while denying me a service called me honey. Learn how to be polite and professional. Walmarts central costumer service already heard about this. Manager is not owning up to it so Im warning people about both your bratty attitudes. This is not how people behave at their JOBS.
My least favorite location. They dont have much as far as selection. Sawmill and Britton Parkway are much much better.Ive never had problems with staff, even the Arab ones. In fact, the gentleman who greets me frequently at the door is always nice to me. Always. And Im pretty sure hes Arab. The women are just as nice. I dont mind that they dont speak perfect English or dont understand everything. Theyre trying to make an honest living like everyone else. Also, learning is a process.
The Walmart on bethel is actually very good its relatively small in size and selection for a Walmart supercenter but it is well stocked and the lines are short the customer service helpful the place clean and organized. It is one of the better Walmarts in the Columbus area.
All in one products stores. Quality of fresh vegetables and fruits very good. Children stuff available from toys to clothes. House items, clothes, electronic all available at very competitive and reasonable price. Please watch out for clearance sale price. In short all products available at a very reasonable price. Not to Miss out Store.
The price is right for shopping and have mostly everything you need at Williamstown location clean neat and organized. You can shop for food and get home Goods. Excellent place for buying One hundred dollars will furnish your studio apartment when you shop in the clearance departments.
I am Very impressed with Walmart pickup and home delivery options. There app is very easy to use. Online/phone customer service is great. There is no hassle to place and receive orders. I highly recommend trying this option.One star only because there is no option for no star!! I can never find everything at this Walmart. Its always out or the veggies Are old for the most of the time. Only come here because its near by but now I am always having to make an other stop. Customer service at return section is horrible. They are very rude. They don’t care about there customers at all. Worst customer service ever. They never have a smile on there face.
Never really have any issues at this Walmart.. The staff is usually very friendly, but lately alot of them dont seem to speak English very well but hey its whatever! 🙂 Been going here for years though and I love that I know where everything is! I get in & I get out..And thats all that matters to me anymore 😃
Shopping here is the standard Walmart shopping experience. I will say that the staff is a little more diverse than other area Walmarts Ive visited, but I actually noticed 3 employees smiling in different areas of the store, so they appear less dead inside compared to the employees at other stores.
This particular visit was not a pleasant one. It seems that the cashier assist at the self check out lane thought I need some kind of special approval before I could use my card and spend my money to make a purchase at this particular location. She actually had to come swipe her ID and put info in so I could use my money to pay for items I wanted. Wonder who she thought I was.
Store is laid out well, fairly clean, quick to find what you need. But the self checkout registers are the slowest Ive seen so far! It took me a solid 6 minutes to check out 4 items - every scan took 10 seconds to register, another 20 to recognize that I had put my item in a bag, and searching for tomatos in the system was painful as each tap stalled the screen for 5 seconds. These things were either bogged down beyond reasonable levels, or the software behind them is just that bad! Line for the self checkout backed up a ton because nobody could get through their stuff quickly here.
I shopped at a very slow time of the day because I wanted to buy a television and wanted the input of a person in that department. The electronics guy was tied up with an old man trying to make his phone work. I finally gave up and selected a TV. At the checkout the cashier could not find the bar and sent me to the service desk. They found the barcode and sent me back to the cashier. Since I lost my place in line I announced that I was next. One cashier graciously took care of me as soon as she was done with her current customer. I have had pretty good luck at this store. Today I had a couple of minor frustrations. No big deal.
It is one of the smaller Walmarts In the Columbus Ohio area. And about 1/3 of the employees do not speak English or at least they act like they don’t.It is clean none of the employees really seem to smile or say hello or greet you maybe it’s because they don’t speak English or That’s just not their cultural custom.It is in a nice strip mall although they do shut down almost all of the registers and force you to do self-pay self check out which I hate, Because they don’t give you a break on the price
They have a lot of stuff and the prices are usually reasonable. For me their biggest problem is that they never staff enough cashiers. Checkout lines are always long and slow moving. This seems to be a deliberate corporate policy to force customers to self-checkout and bag their own groceries. Every Walmart I go to has this problem no matter what time of day it is. Always allow some extra time for your checkout even when youre not in a hurry or you will be very frustrated with your experience. Both Kroger and Meijer have become more price competitive than they were in the past and have improved their produce section quality. Where I shop has become more about who is close by when I decide to go shopping and who has the brands I want and who has them on sale. In my experience the recent improvements in the price and quality of all the major superstores means there is no longer a clear superior to choose for most shopping. If your only factor is price then Walmart may still be your best choice. However, if you include quality, taste, durability, style, brand, or any other factors then you still need to shop around.
Worst walmart in Columbus! Avoid this location as much as you can! I just went to return something, they let a lady cut in front of me, then I waited another 20 minutes. Finally someone else came to help, but SHE TOOK PEOPLE FROM THE END OF THE LINE..NOT THE FRONT! I had to speak up or she would have continued to do so! RIDICULOUS!
This store is busy and a bit Crowded in ours presentation of product. And staff seem agitated. Perhaps this is seasonal... But the greeter shared that Wal-Mart doesnt care what we think and seemed willing to continue speaking in this vein as I walked into the store to Shop. Ive had better experiences in this store.
With the current shortage of healthcare supplies and some food items, the staff at this Walmart was busy filling shelves and helping customers find products. No inflated prices. So happy that when a crisis arises there are so many good people in our world. Thanks Walmart.
At midnight, only 1 cashier open. Self checkout lanes closed as well. So a line of 12 people, some with completely full carts. I have 2 items. Does the manager not notice this? Have another cashier come and at least run register to help get the customers through and then go back to whatever the other cashier was doing while still just keeping the 1 lane open.
Guy in electronics was helpful. Only reason Im not giving this location 1 star. I often forget why I dont shop here so I go back. No problem finding what I need. When I get to the checkout I remember why I detest shopping here. 30 people waiting to check out and one lane open. Self checkout closed... I work long days and can only shop late like 10pm. Stood in line for 20 min and it never moved. They opened another line so I moved. Guy said lane was closed. Im done with this location. Good bye Wal-Mart, its been real.
I wanted to ask a single question. Do you carry live bait? !00 plus rings later I get the front desk who transfers me to sporting goods. 60 plus rings later.....hung up on me. Called back. 50 plus rings no answer. Called back and pushed 2 for electronics. 4 rings and an answer. Not their department but yes we have live bait. You guys should pay attention because this is awful customer service. Staff your stores you jerks.
I typically love this Walmart and go here constantly. However last night my daughter and I were in the pet section and she went to the fish tank like most kids do and literally almost every single tank had dead fish in it. Im not talking about just one or two, theyre were a few that the filters stopped working and the filters were completely full with dead fish sucked into them. 1 of the filters even had a full fish skeleton on it clearly telling me that they have not been cleaned in a long time. I am so disgusted by the actions of Walmart and the fact that my daughter had to be subjected to this she is only 10 and she is very traumatized. I took pictures and hope to have the fish properly taken care of if I let people know whats going on.
Terrible customer service. Went in to buy a food saver FM2000 which states online $40.00 “price for in-store purchase only”. It was in stock at bethel road location. So I went found the item which was market at$80.00 in store. I figured hey, must be a typo so I went to the service desk. They lady there was super nice and was going to do a price adjustment and had to wait for her manager. We waited 5 minutes he arrived, scanned the item and said he couldn’t do anything because he shows $80. I proceeded to show him the Walmart website stating the above. He radioed his manager saying it was a “pretty large markdown “ to witch the manager radioed back they will not authorize the mark down. My biggest complaint is one the manager apparently didn’t have time to speak with me. Apparently to busy trying to make budget by not honoring their advertisements. And two do not put up an add saying in store price only, have me drive to the store then tell me no we are not going to sell you this product at the advertised price
Walmart is Walmart. Great for cheap buys. This one is the worst for long lines in check out. WORST. 40 people looking to check out and they will never open more than 1-2 checkout lanes out of the 15 available. There is 6 self check out, but thats only for smaller total purchases. I will say thank goodness at least they added self check out. Before that, it was painful to wait in the longest line ever, everytime I went. I started to go elsewhere, if driving by entrance, I could see it was crowded. Not worth that time for some cheap wine and ice cream
Years ago when this location opened, it was close to home shopping center with fair prices, and friendly environment.However, over the years this location just getting worse and worse. That would be nice to go there and see associates that can talk English and when you ask them question , you dont get the look that they have no idea what you talking about, or dealing with some of the most rudest male workers ( whom talk Arabic), that makes shopping at this location less and less welcoming.
Wal-Marts are to average folks like cheese for mice. They are terrible for you but you judt cant get much better for a lot of things. Unfortunately there is often a mismatch between what the website says is in stock, and what is actually in stock. Its really annoying to try and order online for pickup and then your order is canceled. I have never ONCE gotten ANY Wal-Mart to fulfill an online pickup order.
I understand why they lock up makeup. What I don’t understand is why it takes me 15 minutes to find someone who is able to unlock the makeup. And now they have to walk me over to a check out machine and scan it/place it in the bag for me. If having someone steal a $7 piece of makeup is that big of a deal, at least have someone stationed at makeup. I was once told that someone is always told to be stationed at makeup from 8-4, and never have I ever seen anyone stationed there.
Its another Walmart alright. That being said it feels like its worse than it was just 6 months ago. I did go at night but many shelves I went to seemed empty and there were various packages with no items or half the items in them. Maybe someone stole them? Also maybe a new recruit was being trained but the cashiers seemed really slow. Half the lines were replaced with scan pay and go or self checkout so I wouldnt be surprised if the staff are just slow since Walmart seems to be investing less and less in people working there. Overall it was meh.Side note, customer service is slow but I think thats typical. My last experience with them wasnt great though, not very helpful.
The workers are not helpful. I found this thermometer online at $32 and it shows the store has it. I didnt bother to order online just went ahead and went there. The store only has a similar make at $42. When I asked the worker with the screen print of $32 make in stock, he refused to look for it for me and told me they dont have it. I could have ordered online and picked up later. But I was sick and had no energy to go back for that. So I bought the $42 make. The store should improve your service. Will not go back to this Walmart.

2022-06-29A nice walmart, employees were lovely. No available mobility scooters at a time where they werent very busy - - found two around the store, one had been abandoned due to mechanical issues and the other was dead. Not the end of the world for me because I can use crutches, but for someone else it could have sucked.

2022-06-07It was rough shopping trip for me. There are only 2 working scooters at this location. They were in use tonight. The cashier checked someone out who didnt have money to pay so we were waiting while she ran to an ATM, just not the one in the Walmart. They didnt have a cart person to collect carts from parking lot. On positive note, they did have everything on my list.

2022-04-27First time going in this store. Was shopping for makeup and body wash. While trying to find out what foundation was best to use. I had 3 workers coming by 👀 me as i shop. I hate when i go into a store and you cant even shop with out people thinking your stealing. They have their cameras to watch. So why in the world they keep coming by me to watch me.

2022-04-17I don’t normally leave negative reviews but this store refused to price match an item to their own website’s prices for no reason. Per their corporate policy, the item was in stock and not on any special (Black Friday, etc) but they still said no. We ordered the item for store pickup to get the lower price but had to come back and make an additional trip. Bad service for zero reason and against corporate policy.

2022-04-07I come here frequently since I live near by. I use Grocery pick up often here and the wait times vary. Pick up orders are usually correct. If theres a wrong item refunds are easily processed on the app. Experiences with customer service also vary when doing grocery pickup; depending on employees, some are rude and some are nice.Customer service tends to be most poor when in-store. I had picked up photos from the photo center in which they messed up: I ordered matte pictures but was given glossy. I asked for them to be redone but the employees didnt seem to know how to fix the problem.I had another visit at the electronics where I patiently waited for help and the two black male employees at the counter were just chatting it up for 5 minutes straight and just ignored me until when I gave up and walked away they called out and said wait were almost done! wait what do you even need help with? then asked someone else to assist me. I dont get why work in customer service if youre not going to assist? this couldve easily been done within seconds when I first came up to the desk.

2022-06-30I hate this Walmart. They barely have banana pudding. Some stuff is scarce. Oh and undercover cops following me the whole trip in the store. Started to get a little annoying. Had to tell them to stop following me cause Im black. I have a job. I have money. I dont steal. Simple. But otherwise I get some food cheap.

2022-05-19I’m always lenient and accurate when it comes to leaving reviews. Let me say this is the worst Walmart I’ve ever been too. No one ever answers the phone, never. I have to go there because no one answers. we will no longer order groceries because every single time before, they have always messed up the order, and lied about stuff being out of stock. We always find it ourselves after they say it’s out. It’s like dealing with stoned middle schoolers here, I’m completely baffled with how bad the customer service is here. I’ve never had a worse experience in my life. Trust me, save ur time going somewhere else. The management is literally on another planet, and not one single employee that I’ve encountered is legitimate or professional. Beyond frustrating!

2022-04-19Fine, I got what I needed, but for one thing I wish it were easier to see the available stock at a particular store location. I want to stop by and physically check it out, *not* necessarily buy online. In my case, for example, a web search indicated that hook-style walking canes were available. That mustve been online only, because at the store I could find only handle-style canes. Then, for another thing, I settled for one, but when I tried to check out I found it was lacking a bar code, so I had to walk back to find one with a bar code. Walking hurts sometimes ya know, but Im*not* going to use any motorized cart. Thats the point of a cane.
