Where do I begin? Under staffed and under qualified. From all of the changes they made where the customer has to do everything themselves like the self checkouts and the scan and goes. First, no reason for a person with a full cart to go through either one of those. Staff should limit the amount of items allowed for those. Its like an Express check out. Second, you can afford to pay workers almost $18 an hour? Im still waiting for my check for all the work I have to do when Im buying groceries. Where are all of the workers? Now onto the whole pick up and delivery departmemt... how do you even tie your own shoes? Scan the item on the list , put it in the bin. You scanned items that were apparently shopped for but they somehow didnt make it with the rest of my order. 3 times in one week, they botched up my grocery orders.. that whole store is a failing business. Its pathetic. Then when you call, nobody answers the phone. Ive called while I was there and watched them ignore it. Whos in charge anymore?
Place is all over the place and never anyone around to help you. Prices high on some things. You have to always check yourself out and always something rings up higher. Then you have to have someone come fix it. Which again takes time. Not all older people want to deal with checking themselves out
I go here regularly for curbside pickup of groceries. It is super convenient and the folks that work here are always kind and pleasant. The only reason they lose a star is because sometimes items I want are out of stock. However, substitutions are usually better than what I originally order. If they are out of something, usually you get the same item in a bigger size for the same price.They finally finished moving things around inside and it looks nice again. In the past this store looked empty inside, but now it is nice. Plenty of self checkout lanes too.
Seems like more times than not I go to shop here and they have no people running registers they expect you to go through the self-checkout from now on I will check to see if theres anybody at the registers and if not Ill take my business to Giant eagle or another store where they have at least two registers open with people to scan and bag your food or whatever you buy
Staff helpful and assisted me in creating a workaround when I realized my credit card from cash were in my other pants. Thank youI found the item that I went there for. It was normally$105 but it was on sale for $30 off. But even better I found a unmarked store special normally $189 for $59. I never knew until a week ago that an unmarked store specials existed.
Scheduled an appt at the Automotive section of store. Debbie who waited on me, did an outstanding job making sure my tires arrived, checking that they were the size I needed and scheduling an appointment for service. This lady needs an xmas bonus!!! Happy holidays Debbie!
I have to use an electric cart. There were 2 at the entrance that were not yet charged. A shopper using one was exiting and the attendant gave it to me saying it was charged. It died in the middle of the store. I had to gather my groceries and my cane and maneuver my way to the front of the store to get a regular cart. Had I been able to find an employee I am sure that person would have offered to help. But, there was no one. Checkout was another disappointment. There was one attended register with a long line. The rest were self-check. I do not get a discount for self check-out, nor do I get paid. I definitely did not have a good customer experience at WalMart and wont be going back anytime soon.
I found curtains I liked but could only find that pattern in 84 length and I needed 63. So I asked an associate if they could check other Walmarts to see if they had that pattern in the size I wanted. She said, you can check on your smartphone so I went to Service Desk and was told I can call other stores but they will not answer the call. I can give you the phone numbers Seriously, if they dont answer another store calling, why in the F@#$ would they answer me? I just cannot believe they cant/wont check store inventory for a customer, I guess they are completely going Self-service!!
You will leave here feeling that you just you paid Wal-Mart for the privilege of doing a cashiers job with the 25 minutes it took to wait, scan, and bag all the things you bought by yourself.Saturday afternoon and only 2 cashiers checking out customers. Store being re-set and most checkout lanes are self-serve. You will be behind: People that dont know how to scan; People that dont move too fast; People that have never been cashiers; People that are alone and have to scan/bag solo. Try going late at night to avoid the crowds and you will be relegated to one corral of express, self check-outs and you will be putting your items on the floor since they dont have space for more than two bags next to the scanner.Wal-Mart used to impress upon its employees to get the customer checked-out of the store as quickly as humanly possible. They used to know that the check-out experience is the LAST experience a customer will have of your store and you should try and make it a good one. They used to value cashiers that can quickly and efficiently get the customers through and out of the store after they are done shopping.Unfortunately, none of that is valued anymore.
This place is awful . I shop here all the time. Theyre always out of everything, never anyone to help customer service is awful as well. I bought pork chops 2 days later I took them back . They were so spoiled put them in a bag that rode in the bed of my truck on the way 20 miles back to the store . Im done here .
Had a pickup time for 10:00-11:00 With a newborn baby that time slot was selected around our schedule.Unfortunately we waited for more than hr for our order. After calling the store several times they did not care and I was told they could not speed up the process. Mind you, they started preparing my order at 8:00 and only had about 20 items to collect.After calling the pickup line 3 times they told me for 45 min they were collecting the last couple items on my list. I will never use their pickup again because their customer service is horrible and they don’t pay attention to your given time slot.I was told they had too many scheduled for a 10:00 pickup, if that’s the case they shouldn’t allow you to select that time. They could care less about your schedule and why your time slot was selected.
Waited ten minutes on hold to ask if an item was in stock. Associate finally answered and was rude, wouldnt check, then hung up on me with a freaking GROWL! What kind of Walmart are they running that someone growls at you on the phone when asking about having a $200 item in stock to buy and they mention is a 40 minute drive?
Despite being short staffed as all businesses seem to be since the start of the pandemic, the chardon Walmart continues to provide outstanding customer service. The store is clean and organized and the staff does their very best to help you out. A little plea to our chardon residents, please be kind to the employees!! Remember, no one is choosing to run short staffed, especially the employees that are there. A little kindness and a Thank You goes a long way :)
Have to say it was not my best day shopping here. Very limited supply of dog food and none in any bag size that I needed. Breads.....where did they all go??? Paper products????? Not to mention everything has been moved around helter skelter. Spent more time trying to find what I needed then coming up empty handed because some shipments have been delayed due to the fact (as told by an employee) because of the new transformation of the store they are getting delayed stick in. Had to go elsewhere but at least I know where to find what I need at the other stores and they had enough of what i needed😔
Awful visit today. They are going through a reorganization of the entire store. Unorganized and very confusing to locate items. Staff was rude, almost got run into and over 3 different times. No apologies and no attempt to warn of their coming around a corner or isle. Completely uniformed too. Trying to locate items, I asked several different employees for assistance and I was told they didnt know or was told to go look in a isle that was incorrect. Frustrating.
Helpful staff & great selection, but three items rang up higher than they were marked on the shelf. We bought two of one item marked $.97 & they each rang up at $4.97! $8 difference right there. The other two items rang up higher but not nearly as much. Recommend price-checking each item as you check out.
Very dissatisfied with my experience at this walmart. I worked a long day at work and needed to grab a few things to grab before I went home, I needed a new garbage can. Found the isle and looked for a few minutes and found one that was labeled for $15 and decided that was the one I was going with. I even checked the label that was under it to make sure it was the right one and it fit the one I chose perfectly. I got to the self checkout and scanned the garbage can and it ended up being $50 so I walked all the way back across the store to grab a different one and found the one that I was sure was the $15 one, as it wasnt quite as nice but it would still do. I then walked all the way back up to the registers and scanned the can and it rang up as $20. I work in retail and understand that they are going through a renovation but your customers are the #1 priority and you do what is most convenient for the customers and make sure that the labels match the product. I saw multiple things throughout the store that werent labeled or were labeled incorrectly and couldnt find a price scanner or even an associate to help me find prices anywhere in sight. I will never return to this walmart and encourage you not to either if you are looking for things that you may need help with.
Very empty, poor selection. I let both my boys pick new fishing rods and one was 19.99 and had a bar code the other was 13.88 but was missing its tag when I got to the register the teen working said she would just scan the one with the tag and I explained that the one without the tag was listed on the shelf for $13.88 and she said so you dont want both rods? I said I did so she called her 20 something manager over and explained the situation and the manager told her to scan the one with the tag and I said no and explained that it was $6.11 less and I was not donating to Walmart and asked her to please go look at the shelf and get whatever set of numbers she needs to charge me the correct amount. She then pulls out her personal phone and looks it up on the web and just over rode the price of the first sku and did not even enter the correct number. Its sad that this is your quality of help and work.
Very accommodating! Everyone was pleasant and nice, and wanted to know if there was anything extra that I may need. Then room was extremely clean! Bed was very comfortable, and enjoyed staying there for 4 days and 4 nights. Ive stayed with them in the past, and will stay with them again in the future
Walmart in Chardon has the worst customer service I have experienced. I was left on hold for 45 minutes before I decided to hang up and try calling again. When I called back the ringer ran for 5 minutes and nobody answered. Customer service closes at 8 and I called them at 7:30. I recommend shopping at Giant Eagle or Aldis
This is a very large and basic Walmart. Not much more to say. If you have been to any Walmart, youve basically been here. Large selection, unhelpful staff, not always stocked properly, still a one-stop shop. It is a Walmart, the largest Ive been in, but a Walmart none the less. Taken to calling this one the good Walmart.
Good but nothing really interested me. They didnt have the games i wanted, most of the movies were either super hero or corny. The music selection was poor and the books were some of the worst books I can find. Good store just bad selections of items. Great place to buy tcg cards though.
My wife and I placed an grocery order on-line for curbside pickup. My order was ready for pickup 2 hours late. I arrived on-site and had to wait 15 minutes before an opening occurred in the designated parking area. They had 15 parking spaces, all full. Once we got a spot we waited and waited and waited (around 2 more hours). After calling corporate and the store manager we finally got our groceries. There was no sense of urgency to take care of all the waiting customers. It is the last time we will do curbside pickup. Since this is the only time we have done curbside pickup, they may have better service on other days. My guess is they are either trying to handle too many curbside pickup customers per hour or they had insufficien workers. On the bright side, the food was fine.
Store is well stocked. if you go in the morning be prepared to check yourself out as they dont staff their store properly. Head cashier is extremely rude as I was walking out stopped and asked me for my receipt when she watched me check out completely Im fairly disappointed as I drive out here to avoid the Eastlake Walmart. Definitely not coming back
When it comes to Walmart’s they can greatly vary in customer service, cleanliness, and accessibility. This Walmart always keeps things well stocked and the store is always well kept. Only reason for 4 stars rather than 5, is the lack of use of the self check outs. I understand the lack of cashiers, but even after having many new self checkouts installed they don’t seem to be using more than a third of them which can cause things to back up occasionally
Hate to do this, but my experience with pickup order last night leads me to wanting to warn people.My pickup slot was from 7-8. Got an email at 7:04 that it was still in progress, thats fine, it sometimes takes a while. Got an email at8:45 that there was a substitution, cool. Wandered over to the store around that time and bought some other stuff I hadnt ordered while I waited. Could have totally bought my whole order in that time, but didnt want to bother them with trying to cancel my order. Went home (since its like a two minute drive) to wait some more because I saw they were super busy and remodeling so I was fine with being patient. Got the text that my groceries were ready at 9:59. Followed the check-in link, as the text suggested, though then it immediately disappeared and didnt actually have a check in button one either the app or the site. Arrived and called the pickup number 12 times to no answer. Called the main store number and it rang for five minutes and then hung up. Went inside to find customer service. The main store number finally answered while I was in line for customer service. I was informed that pickup was closed. Not that that information is anywhere relevant that I could have seen it before then. Still dont know when pickup closes, but Im assuming 10. Was put on hold. 5+ minutes later somebody picked up to say I see youre on hold, are you waiting for anyone?At which point, despite not even really needing the groceries right this instant, I was crying to the person on the phone just because of how frustrating they had made the experience. They got me to a manager who could cancel the order so I can hopefully get my freaking money back. If not, youll hear from me even more. And also in the process ended up yelling at an employee and I feel terrible about that because I know its not their faul their stores system is broken. But it is SOMEONES fault that my order got pushed to the point where the pickup system wasnt even open anymore and no one ever contacted me to let me know what was going on, and it was impossible for me to contact them to ask what was going on. This is why Im leaving this review, so maybe this information will get back to the person whose fault it is, rather than the poor, underpaid employees who had to deal with me last night and for whom I feel very sorry.tl;dr: DO NOT order pickup after about 3 in the afternoon. You will hate your life.
This is my local Walmart that I visit most often. Compared with other nearby Walmart locations this one is usually cleaner, with a better selection. Overall pretty good for a Walmart. Employees are generally helpful and friendly. Haven’t really had negative experiences here. Used the order online/ pickup in store option a few times and that was pretty quick and efficient to use.
The store was clean and well stocked, which is saying something, but the people were exceptional! They were kind, friendly, helpful, jovial and more than willing to put themselves out for you. I was beyond surprised by how many fit that description. Not just one employee, but 4 or 5! To me thats priceless! I would highly recommend this store.
I like Tapps. This is a popular hang out for locals. They have multiple tvs to watch the game on and a nice deck. The burgers and BBQ are really good. They have a house maple BBQ that is very good. The steaks are also very good. I have been here several times and always find everyone to be very friendly and fries and onion rings are the best!
The chicken I picked up had a messed up bar code and instead of taking the time to type the number in they told me to go to customer service, I paid for my other items and went over there. The line was very long so I walked up to an employee at the self checkout explained the situation and that I no longer wanted it and they said take it back then.
Very disappointed in the checkout system talk to Chris the team leader and he explain that they are in the process of closing down six more lines for check out. There was only one cashier open at The time I was checking out. After the people in line was complaining they finally got another person to help check us out. Very poor service you guys are going downhill!
::::::::BUYER BEWARE:::::::: If you need to get tire work done, drive the extra miles or pay the extra money to go somewhere else.I recently had 2 tires replaced, when I got home I could hear one of them leaking. I called to bring it back in so they could stop the leak.After 4+hrs, the mechanics solution was to have me drive to auto zone and buy my own valve stem and they would replace the one they broke. Free of charge he had the nerve to say.I said, put a plastic one in and be done with it.Himself, the manger and another mechanic then came out of the garage and told me my tire was fixed.I checked the psi before leaving the parking lot to see that they had merely filled my tire to 40psi (10lbs over the manufacturer recommendation on the door.)They could have killed me, and eventually they will be responsible for the serious injury of someone.Trust this 1 star review, if you take your business here insert your horror story after mine.
Nice for one stop shopping. Got hinting license then picked up food storage containers and dinner for the evening. Shelves were organized and stocked. Items were for the most part in their correct locations. All around store was clean. Only issue was had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come to sports to get license.
Walmart is kinda known for being kind of a dirty kind of place -- Clearly visible dirt everywhere, trash left on shelves, all that stuff. This particular Walmart is not that bad compared to the average Walmart cleanliness wise. Occassionally there will be some poorly maintained shelves, which is pretty normal, but I dont feel like total trash going here, which is nice. I like this Walmart, go here.
Let me start by saying this used to be my favorit walmart around. Last night I drove the extra mile because Walmart online stated they had in stock 2 items I wanted. Got there and the first employee I ran into states he is new and didnt know how to use the scanner to see stock or location. I told him I can give a barcode and he got mad and said he was new. I stated its okay and if he could help me find another employee he then stated that there should be workers in the back of the store. When I asked him to walk with me to find them he looked at my like I was crazy. I then went to another employee myself and asked for help and went through the whole product information. She stated she isnt familiar with the store and items. She stated to find someone more seasoned. I then found a older lady that argued with me that the one product Jolly Rancher blue rasberry drink mix powder was candy and not a drink. I then about had it at this point but I drove 25 minutes to this location. I went to customer service and they did not know or care to help me find this item. I asked to speak to a manager and she stated they dont have one on shift. I know that a retail store would never not have a manger working. She stated I can call in the morning and ask to speak with a manager. Long story short I placed a online order with that same location for pick up. I now have the two items 4 employees couldnt help me more help me find workers that knew where the the product was. Wow
So I has everything I need but the customer service is terrible I walk in and go to customer service to ask a question and the lady who is back there is rude and just trying to push me out with out even question meI wish they had nicer cashiers like the Walmart in mentor or middlefeild
I called yesterday (4-17-19) to see if this store had box fan in stock. The first call I placed on hold only to hear two employees complaining about another always calling off. Then we they heard me say Excuse. I was hung up on. So since I had an actually question I called back. I was transferred to the deli, electronic, and finally I asked to speak with a manager. It took a manager 14 min to pick up my call. 14 min! Assistant Manager Nate gave an excuse as to why I had to hold for a total of 28 min to find out if they had fans or not but when I got there it was dirty and associates were chatting and not helpful at all. The customer service at this store is awful. I put the fan back on the shelf and bought it else where. I wont ever return.
I was using one of their electric scooters because of my recent knee replacement and it died on me. A very nice and polite young man in the Pet Department went up front and brought me back a fully charged scooter. He also returned the other one. Before that, he helped me look for a certain kind of dog food. I just wish I had no gotten his name so I could mention it here.
Left this store today after seeing a large portion of the shoppers there with no facial coverings. The signage at the door clearly states a face covering must be worn, but clearly Management doesnt care enough about their employees or other shoppers there to enforce it. This used to be our go to store even though we live a county away, we will no longer be back.
3 human cashiers at 1pm on a Sunday. Packed store full of customers, isles full of employees facing and fronting, in the way of shoppers. Alot of customers were noticably upset because the employees didnt have a care in the world they were in the way of everyone. The online pick up shoppers are always rude, and in the way. Customer service has gone down hill because of this. The self check out is supposed to be for people with a few items trying to get in and out and the customer has now become a free worker for walmart. We are forced to bring big cart loads through due to lack of cashiers.
Shopping experience was ok and they have good variety of things. However, use caution with food items and check to make sure they are good and not expired. The one problem I have is the incredibly slow check outs. The folks here are very friendly but just slow so expect to wait a while to check out. Otherwise not bad but not great either.
Chardon Walmart is closed! And they are closed tomorrow so their employees can be with their friends, families or spend it anyway they wish. Cudos Chardon Walmart!!!!! I only shopped there before if ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY, but got some respect for you now. Merry Christmas.
Went here to buy tires. Price was good. Quality of the product seems good (time will tell). The service was so excruciatingly slow, I almost told them to shove it! Listen up Walmart, this is a huge problem in an otherwise well run store. I see this as piss poor management of the service department. I will NOT have tires done again here.
This is by far the cleanest, most well stocked and organized Walmart I have ever been to. I have been in Walmart stores in many different cities and in other states, and my local Walmart is neat and clean. This store must have Mrs. Clean on duty 24/7. Kudos to the staff & employees.
There is too much walking for me to be comfortable since I have to use a cane. I am glad that they have a few benches near the doors but someplace to sit on or near the sales floor would be helpful. While I know what I want is on the Electronics section, sometimes shopping on the web is more attractive.
Walmart is Walmart. Not good but not a bad place to go. The real reason why I am writing this review is because of the exceptional service I received from the young man pushing carts. I believe his name is berry or Brandon, I don’t remember. It was a super windy night this Halloween and I had a ton of stuff in my cart. A gust of wind knocked my cart over and he ran over to help me. I didn’t even have to lay a finger. Great to see chivalry is not dead in young men these days.
Its a typical Walmart. F.Y.I. Chardon Walmart has stuck out to me from other Walmarts because its not out of the norm for this Walmart to be out of stock of the type of things that everyone needs & buys. For example, theres been times when this Walmart has completely been out of water or milk. They are the only store that Ive ever seen with so many basic items out of stock!
I know everybody and their brother shops here. But. This location is always out of stock on everything you need in the food department but has 30 curved tvs right in the middle blocking your way so you have to look at them. Not dirty or unappealing. Customers and staff are nice. Still end up shopping here after Aldi.
Can anybody please explain the logic behind having the garden center doors closed off so nobody can come in or out! That means everyone has to go through the store and walk around. Basically if they do have a sickness its sure to pass to everyone because they are walking through that whole store! It would seem that all the store owners are ignorant. This is just one of the things that make no sense. Common sense people come on.
This location has almost everything we need in stock at all times however the recent relocation of everything is quite frustrating As everything has been moved to a completely different side of the store they have chemicals next to food, None of the aisles have been properly re labelled labelled, And it is a constant mess.
I was appalled at how dirty and unorganized this store was. I had to interrupt a sales person who was on a personal phone call to ask where to find my item. He said if we have that its two aisles down or you have to get it online I WILL NOT GO TO THE CHARDON STORE AGAIN
Ive been a customer here, along with my husband, for several years. Our oldest just had his first eye exam for glasses today. They were so good with him during his first official exam and visit. All of the staff here are friendly and knowledgeable from the moment of the actual eye exam to end when picking out the right frames or contact lenses. Love the staff here!
In short, empty shelves. This isnt a new thing and its pre-pandemic. To make it worse, the company wont let you ship an item to the store because the item is out. You have to drive to another store or pay shipping. Food: empty water, yogurt decimated and scattered. Milk? Good luck.This store has a long history of being understaffed; it can be a ghost town at times. Just dont put your eggs all in one basket if you shop here. Theyll probably be out of them.The newest addition of curbside pickup is a microcosm of the overall problem. Its not unusual for my orders to be made up of up to a third substitutions or canceled items. This is a chronic inventory problem.
Had everything I needed. Rotisserie chicken ready for dinner, lots of fruit and veggies. Less a start for 1000 fruit flies and only some of the self check out kiosks working. Doesnt save time to have some cash only. Hardly anyone has cash. They dont need 2 kiosks just for them.
My boys didnt love the air hockey table I bought them for Christmas. I was terrified of returning the super large item that I ordered online to Walmart. Instead I only had to wait in line 2 minutes and the return took less than 60 seconds!! I was amazed. My boys are even happier with their new guns.PSA- Avoid the Subway inside. Its very slow and they messed up a turkey sub with mayo😕
I will not shop here again. There is a huge drinking straw display by the register. Walmart treats their employees like trash and most of the low quality items in the store are made in China including the drinking straws. If you want to make it political then I will take my cash somewhere else.
This is the WORST grocery pickup in the area of NE Ohio. Weve ordered from at least 6-7 other stores in the region (Middlefield, Ashtabula, Madison, Cortland, Boardman, to name several) and probably another 10 throughout the US. This is the ONLY one weve ever had pickups delayed at, TWICE in the last year. Both times over an hour late. Ridiculous. Corporate needs to fix this place badly.Inside its not bad, cleaner than some others Ive been to, but its still a Walmart. Wish I could afford shopping at heinens!
The customer service today was interesting..I had a small return as the associate was returning my money she found that she was short a few cent she asked the lady next to her for money for her drawer and this lady actually stood there talking to her friend that was leaving literally like there were no customer there..not impressed..
Decent Supercenter Walmart in downtown Chardon. Youll find all the items youd expect to find at Walmart ranging from clothing and yard care to a full grocery selection. Beware though, the staff that fulfill in-store pickup orders are roaming the aisle and always in the way (and pretty rude about it). Also, though they may carry a lot of groceries, many are consistently out of stock so you may not be able to get what you want.
Hard-working employees & assistant managers, clean, stocked. This Walmart draws folks far & wide. Self-service has the newest tech to check out your items. Be patient in lines, dont litter in parking lot, & please, take a second & thank an associate. Oh what would we do without this Walmart?!?!
Honestly this is by far one of the best Walmarts Ive ever been to. I seriously avoided the chain for many years based on reputation but after moving to the Chardon area gave this one a chance. The staff actually tries to keep the store tidy and stocked and the majority of the cashiers are very efficient and friendly. This is not a typical Walmart. In a good way.
Its a nice store but Im tired of hearing the cashiers say how bad they have it. I dont care when or what time you go there the store employees are complaining. Fabric section never has a worker. After waiting several minutes to get someone to call a worker i had wait for her 20 minutes to get a new scanner. Wouldnt you know she can back with another broken scanner. After waiting another 15 minutes i left without what i drove 40 minutes to come get. And went home with nothing. And dont get me started on the 40 checkout lines but only 2 are open. Self check out is a nightmare.
This place has everything. Much better than the Mentor location. Store is usually neat and clean and well stocked. Groceries and deli are always fresh. The optical department is the cheapest eye exam in the area. But, beware pulling into the parking lot, you may damage or lose your car completely with the millions of chuck holes everywhere.
I actually requested $20 from the ring your self line and left it by mistake. Got in my car to leave and was almost to the corner. Rain back in and Gayle who was on the west end if the store. Had seen my mistake and turn it into customer service. Thank God she monitors her area!! Please give her bravo Zulu for an outstanding job!!! Gayle
The usual walmart experience with the added bonus of at least 30 minutes in the check-out line...all cashiers were 65+ years old and must be lonely folk since they seemed to have the burning desire to talk to each customer at length; however they cant seem to talk and check-out at the same time.
Wal-Mart sucks no matter which location you shop at. I only visit Wal-Mart as a last resort only. Ive had very few good experiences at a Wal-Mart and when I do, its usually one Employee that makes your day.Wal-Mart is a snaky money hungry conglomerate that is closing all of these beautiful small businesses. I will only shop at Wal-Mart as a last resort only. It will never be my first choice. 30 Registers and only 2 open.Long lines, Rude and strange Employees, and horrible prices on most stuff.
You know the prices are the best but Im so tired of there not being any checkouts available. I hate self checkout something always doesnt ring up right and you have to go find someone to fix it. Its nothing but a hassel anymore. I spend too much there I want someone to check it out and bag it up. Im tired by the time I get out if there. Is it too much to ask to have someone check me out?
So disappointed in walmart in general these days. Pricing, selection all good! But an hour wait to check out. Had 4 items today and only 4 lanes open with carts running back into the isle. No 20 items or less isles open. Needless to say I put everything back and left. They need some competition again - thats the only way customer service ever returns!!
Among the worser Wal-Marts. Shelves always missing items you want. You never see employees because no one works there. Prices arent that competitive, and becoming even less so. Wal-Mart counters this by getting rid of name brand products and replacing it with their own lines. Id say a good 5-10% of name brands have been replaced in the last year or so. Not a problem with basics like salt, sugar, pasta etc. But things like meat, cheese, chips, anything that requires flavor to enjoy, Great Value just tastes terrible.
I sat in your grocery pickup for 2 hours before receiving my groceries and they couldn’t find a substitute for chicken, ham, or cheese. Tried to call the store and just got put on an endless hold. Online chat gave me a $10 refund for the inconvenience. Save yourself the hassle and just go somewhere else.
Deli department terrible, had to weight no help in deli but there was help in bakery but I was ignored so I continued shopping came back still no one in deli so I asked for help at bakery they got me help but girl was giving me an impression like I was putting her out. The same thing happened the time before but I just did with out. So I will keep my shopping at Giant Eagle.

2022-03-27Very disappointed, Walmart has changed their pet department location and now shares an isle with laundry detergent and cleaners, this is not safe! I wont buy any of my pets extras from here unless they change it.

2021-06-20Its Walmart, what would you expect. Good groceries though. Not enough sportswear for larger people, very disappointing. Very busy, the store is in the middle of remodeling. Only two checkout lanes were open and was very busy and a lot of the self-checkout lane lights were broken, making it look as if the lanes were closed.

2022-03-28Truth be told, Ive been to the steelyard Walmart and they had less items locked up for security than this Walmart does.The staff here looks overworked and exhausted but mainly from the angry customers. Good God I have been in Walmarts all over the country, this Walmart had customers who had no issues pushing carts into you, or rolling over feet, or even apologize when they do it.The customers of Chardon made this experience horrible, while the staff is doing their best to keep everyone happy. No store can handle every customer being a Karen!

2022-02-20This store might be just as bad as steel yards in cleveland over aggressive with the people that follow you but they only follow the people that are not stealing and just let the people that are do what they want. This property would of served better for a new high school or education complex sad that it has gone this way but everyone needs a wal- mart in there life right?

2022-06-03Online says they have stuff in stock, then you get there and its not in stock.. They like to take your money by letting you order products for pick up and then not really have to stuff. Place is a scam

2022-06-22Long lines and employees not very helpful.Edit: went back to this store for a store only item that wasnt in stocks near me. Three young gentlemen were very helpful with my purchase (lawn mower) and loaded in the trailer for me as I am on crutches. Price online showed different than in store and manager quickly resolved the issue. Much improved from last review/last year.
