David Sabitina is hands down the easiest car sales person Ive ever worked with. He was super friendly, no pressure, followed through with everything he said he would, and followed up with the sale to make sure I was satisfied. I bought from VanDevere in the past and went to other car dealerships after, but I came back to VanDevere after not getting the same level of service they offered. With how crazy the car market is right now, they didnt charge me over MSR and even gave me a $1,000 REBATE!!!! Everyone I dealt with was super nice. They all seem to really get along with each other and AL took my disabled son around to visit different people while I signed with finance department. Thanks AL, and I I hope you had a happy birthday ( it was his birthday, and his fellow employees sang happy birthday, which just made the whole experience feel even more like youre part of the family). I highly recommend Corey Watson if you are in the market to purchase a new or used car! Yesterday, we purchased a 2022 Kia Sportage! Hats off to Corey and Rocky, who worked tirelessly to help us with the search and purchase. Car sales are not what they once were! They worked hard for us over the past several months. Had an excellent experience working with the salesman Ben on getting a new lease for a 2022 Forte GT. Him and his team are more than happy to discuss negotiations with you and hear you out, and will come back with what works best for both parties as a business standpoint. Don’t expect some crazy deal but know you will be heard. I walked out very happy and comfortable with a brand new vehicle and without feeling like I overpaid for anything (which means a lot in todays market).I cannot speak for other employees as I have not met or spoke to them but with Ben you can walk in with the expectation that he will be fully transparent with you at the start. Just be diligent as with any dealership and ASK QUESTIONS so that you fully are aware of everything there is to know about your potential deal.Also, in the northern Ohio area I have experience with past vehicles with other dealerships and have to say this place knocks it out of the part when it comes to politeness and professionalism.

Nico at VanDevere is as knowledgable about the vehicles on the lot than anyone that Ive done business with in the past. He made the car buying process easy and convenient. He had a firm understanding of my needs and wants and I never felt pressured to make a decision that I was not totally comfortable with. Above all, he seems to be a good, honest and polite person that I felt I could trust when making a major purchase. I wouldnt recommend this dealership to anyone. Horrible company experience & business eithics. If youre dealing with data breaches & identity theft impacting your credit. *Please do research* & take your time in the car buying process. I felt rushed to make decisions, from a very pushy salesman hungry for his commission. To make matters worse they tied my car payment in with credit acceptance. One of thee absolute worse finance companies to do business with. What a complete remorseful decision I made. I will never buy anything from them EVER! Buyers who can relate to my circumstances. Please be cautious, research, & do your due diligence towards looking out for yourself in every way. Im strong in knowing that what theyve emitted towards me will come back around.

My husband spoke with Nico at Vandevere when we were looking for a new vehicle. He had come highly recommended by some friends of ours. My husband spoke so highly of him. Mike Santimarino was my service advisor today, and he went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me with my issue! Hes very knowleadgable about cars, and also has very good customer service skills! Hes been my service advisor several times before, and hes always provided top notch service, each time Ive taken my car in to the shop! Nico Curtis was awesome to work with, he found the exact car I wanted, and kept me updated thru the (long) process of delivery... Vandevere kia recently did a buyback deal with me. I had never done such a thing before. I ended up with a 2022 Kia Soul LX. Salesman Nico Curtis was very professional, and answered all my concerns and questions. He did a great job. I am very pleased with my new vehicle.
I traded in a new Kia soul for a different color at the end of summer and they sent me a notice a couple months later that I was due for a service check. Me thinking because the car was new they just wanted to make sure everything was running well and was a complimentary service... You know... Because I just spent $30,000 there .... No... Oh no... Service check means oil change which they charged me $65 for ... Complete scam. I felt very taken advantage of. Then they continued to harass me months later about coming in again.... Absolutely not. Just left me with very bad feelings about the place... I wont be taking my car there.
Patrick sold me my new 2022 Kia Sorento and I couldn’t be happier! He was extremely knowledgeable about all the specs about the vehicle. I special ordered it and he kept me posted on its location and ETA. He was very professional; and the transition from my old sportage (which he sold me also) to my new sorento was seamless and took only an hour! I go to Patrick every time I get a new car! He’s a very personable salesman!
First experience was in early May with them telling us a car was on lot and available that wasn’t. We drove an hour for no reason when they could’ve just communicated on the phone like a normal business. They were apologetic and told us they’d call us when 2023s were ready to order. We were fine with that, knowing ordering one meant a 3-9 month wait no matter when the orders opened up. So they called us this week, scheduled us for an appointment today to order an actual 2023. We get here only for us to, again, have taken the time to drive out here and be told whatever they called us for isn’t even possible. The weird way the manger described how they miscommunicated this was annoying and patronizing. Every associate we met in person was SO NICE, but it simply doesn’t excuse the poor management and miscommunication here. Apologies aren’t enough at this point. I’m turned off by the whole experience, will never bother with this dealership ever again.

Kinda shady situation. I called the night before to check stock on a new Kia Forte and confirm price. Said they had multiple in stock. Guy even texted me the next morning to ask if I was coming in to look at the new fortes. I get there and of course there’s not a single new forte there. They start hounding me on other more expensive cars to buy I had no interest in. Very shady they will say whatever to get you to the dealer. I’m never shopping there again I can’t trust their salesmen.
This place is a great affordable place to buy a car. That being said, the reason I rated them low is because they dont negotiate prices, not even for regulars. They lowball your trade in. If anything on your car breaks, theyre going to find an excuse to say its not under warranty. My wifes brakes went out and started squeaking in the first 3 months (new car, not used), and they said its normal wear and tear for the brakes to only last a few months and its not covered under the so-called comprehensive 1 year warranty. Im also disappointed because Ive spent over $75,000 here, and theyre not even willing to charge me less than MSRP. Im on my fourth car and they want to charge me over MSRP by $1,000, when I offered to buy a brand new car, paid in full with cash. They are great for a one-time sale, but dont become a repeat customer. Oh and one last thing. Theyve upgraded to synthetic oil only. Even if your car manual says to use conventional or semisynthetic oil, theyre still going to force you to upgrade to the premium oil change, and tell you youll void your warranty even though youre going by the book. (Thereby changing the warranty requirements as they go and getting extra $20 from every customer, every oil change, regardless of your original warranty terms in the manual.) Even though, when they were using semi synthetic oil they make you come back every 75,000 mi, now that they use full synthetic, they still want you to come back every 75,000 mi. So basically they are charging you more money more often for service that your car doesnt even call for. The service department is slow. They are taking 6 days to put on a tire. I called Midas and they said they could have it done in 45 minutes. Needless to say, I wont be buying cars here anymore. I wish I didnt have to go here for service, but they make you get pre-approval to go elsewhere. Of the four cars I bought here, three head issues within the first few thousand miles, and of course, they said, it was wear and tear and not covered by the warranty.
None of the cars they showed me on the website were actually available to see or test drive in person. They wanted me to put 500$ down to hold a new car thats not arriving for a month, keep in mind that means I couldnt even test drive it. I wanted to lease but was told prices were higher than buying which makes no sense. We drove 45 minutes to waste two hours of our time here.
Unethical, misleading, dishonest advertising! They have advertising on their website(also seen a commercial) For vehicles w a low monthly payment and zero down plus tax title reg. The vehicle i asked about was a 2022 Forte for $209/month zero down plus tax, title, reg. I couldnt get a quote(total out the door #) w/out coming in to the dealership. I made the appointment came in and was given a quote so far above the advertised price it made my head spin. $270/month w 2160 down was the quote, and when i asked why it was so much higher than the advertised price, he said well this one is $1,000 more and it just comes out that much higher? I didnt come in for any other car other than the avertised one and they knew that and the quote still should not have been that much higher anyway. Just as a comparison i leasesd a 2019 Subaru outback for $229/month and $995 down plus tax title reg and the out the door cost was $1685.
If you want to get the runaround go there. I realize times are tough but they are selling everything $3000 above msrp without any trade and $1000 above msrp with a trade. This just tells me that the are cheating you $2000 on the trade. Other dealers are sellin at msrp. Kia’s are not that greatNot all dealers are doing this. This is nothing but price gouging!
We bought a used car there and were told it had newer brakes only to discover the next day it was making a clunking noise. They refused to fix it or make it right saying it wasnt a safety issue covered in their 120 point inspection. How is a clunking brake noise not something you fix before selling a car? Very disappointed they didnt want to make it right!!!
Leased a 2021 Kia Seltos from Vandevere last week! Spoke to Justin Griffith (Sales Manager) prior to coming into the dealership. Justin was AMAZING! Very honest and forthright on cost and scenarios (downpayment, monthly investment, etc.) John Eskidge was our Salesperson, also AMAZING took really good care of us during our visit, really cared about our needs and wants in a new car. And Finally John Vandevere (finance manager) was fantastic during the dreaded signing process. From Beginning to End, our experience with Vandevere Kia was EXCEPTIONAL (every employee took time to say hi and made sure we were taken care of) and would recommend these guys every time!
I leased a new 2022 Telluride from them last fall. They sold me all the extended warranties and coverages and told me I was covered for everything. My dog ate one of the electronic fobs that controls most of the car.I called then went in to get a replacement but was told they would not replace it. Claim I didnt have it in writing CANT TRUST THEM, never again.
I had an absolutely fantastic visit with the staff. Out of all the dealerships Ive dealt with, this location provides the service how it should be. From day one of car shopping, Mike Robinson made the experience feel very homely. With pure honesty and straightforward answers, he helped my process of buying a new car a pleasant one. From the initial paperwork through financing, this location is the place to go. Just ask for Mike!
My car broke down in North Carolina two days after they serviced it and told me it was good to go. Its a 2018 and had about 20,000 miles on it so theres no reason that it shouldve happened other than fault of Vandevere. The dealership in NC took five weeks to fix it. Vandevere (Jerry) gave me a rental car and forgot I had it and then when I was trying to figure out how to get my car back to me, they decided all of a sudden that they wanted it back the two days later. Ive been racking up expenses already and now had to pay for a $400 flight this weekend to get my car back so I can get to work on Monday since Ill no longer have the rental. Being that they insisted on having the car back on Friday and threatened to report it as missing if it wasnt (Jerry - service guy & Bruce - boss of service guy) and us flying down, we had to return it Thursday night after work. Since the service department closes at 6 they (Jeff Douglas - sales manager) tried to refuse taking back the rental. I told him he could either take the key or I was gonna leave it with the key in it because Id be in NC getting my car. As soon as I pulled out my camera to show me handing the key over to him he completely flipped and leaving it with him was totally fine. Just to be safe since they obviously arent concerned with keeping anyones business I called bruce and sent him the video to let him know that his car (that he forgot existed for 5 weeks) was returned. As soon as I get my car back to Ohio Ill be selling it so I dont have to work with them any longer and buying myself a new car from somewhere else. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.
We all know buying a car is a terrible experience. It takes forever but it is one of the necessary evils we all have to live through sometimes. However, Nico at Vandevere Kia made the process as painless as possible.He was helpful and knowledgeable and very quick to get back to me with any and all questions I had while we waited for my Sportage to arrive. He worked with me on my concerns and in the end was able to get me the exact deal I wanted.The day of signing, once the car delivered, my husband and I spent about 3 hours at the dealership. Not how you’d typically want to spend a Monday evening but Nico actually made it enjoyable. The time went fast and he is very personable and friendly to chat with while working on the paperwork. My husband wasn’t even cranky spending all that time there. Richard in Finance was also very nice to work with.If you’re in the market for a new car, I would definitely suggest you go talk to Nico!
When I think about having to purchase a car, all sorts of questions and fears of getting taken advantage of come to mind. But talking with Nico immediately eased my mind. He is thorough, patient with your questions, ready to help you even when you change your mind, but more importantly, when you work with Nico you can truly see that he is on your side! From trying to get you that deal, to paying attention to the little things you like and doing all he can to get you there, throughout the process you feel like hes got your back. More importantly, he does get you the good deal! I have not experienced this before when buying a car and this is why I will tell everyone I know: If you are needing a ride and need to trust your sales partner, Nico is the man!

Had a tremendous experience at Kia VanDevere in Akron. Originally had plans of driving off with a new Telluride but was convinced to go with something more accommodating of my situation. A short while later, I drove off in a brand new 2022 Kia K5 and I couldn’t be happier. I worked with a gentleman named Patrick and he was top notch, professional and worked with me on getting the deal that worked best for me. I would highly recommend Kia VanDevere and the folks there will work to no end to make you a happy customer.

Sam Shue, the salesperson was wonderful. I was desperate for a car as I had been told that morning by my mechanic I would need a new car very shortly due to a badly rusted frame. Found 2 in my price range in summit, portage and medina. Sam was very patient, kind, understanding with this senior. I however had difficulty with the dealership itself. didnt like the row of men in black watching the area and the sales people. My tires were 8 hours old when I came in there and I basically lost them as they gave me finally after some discussion 500 in trade. Tires were 400. I didnt like at all being greatly pressured to finance through them. Price was 1500 above blue book and they said they used another system. It is a sellers market and they knew I was desperate. Too long signing papers to get out. Pressure to buy ex t ra vehicle protection. although happy with Sam, not the process or their system. I needed a car .they knew it a n d I got slammed . Didnt leave happy.
Even with bad credit, Ronnie Brown was able to get me into a 2015 Kia Rio with only 27,000 miles on it. Im really grateful that I came here as opposed to the other Kia dealerships. They worked hard to get me into something newer that was safe and reliable. Thank you Vandevere!!
Had a great experience with our salesman Dave. He was very knowledgeable and didnt pressure us at all. All the salesmen were nice and there were a lot of them.Now, when it came time to go to finance, there were 2 guys, 2! They were selling tons of cars but dropping the ball when it came to actually purchasing these cars! We waited over 3 hours to even get to finance. 3 hours! This is not accepable! The gentlemen behind the counter said we were next....an hour and a half later, we were next.My father purchased a car there 3 weeks ago and went through the same thing. This must be normal for them.So, if you have 5-6 hours to buy a car, this is the dealership for you!!
In October 2021, I bought out my Kia Stinger lease. The finance manager that I dealt with, Mike Kendren, was completely unprofessional. After he pitched his 3 warranty packages, I kindly told him that I was buying out my lease to resell to a 3rd party for a profit and that I didnt need any warranties because I would only have the Stinger for about 30 days. He became extremely hostile, shuffling papers that I needed to sign and had an extreme attitude (most likely because he wasnt making an extra commission off of the $6,000 warranty packages). He became extremely short tempered and barely said anything further (he was extremely talkative when he was pitching his warranties). He also never told me to call Kia financing to tell them that I bought out my lease and to cancel auto-pay. This caused an additional $500 to be taken from my checking account and I have to wait 75 days for Kia to refund me for my overpayment. I have been a loyal lease customer for 6 years (3 years with an Optima, 3 years with a Stinger) and I was going to re-lease a Telluride after my Stinger sold but I will never return to Vandevere Kia after my poor treatment.
Not honest. I communicated as clearly as possible that I wanted a specific vehicle. They said they have one. Went to the dealership to pick it up. Nothing there. I understand the current issue of chips and shortage of vehicles because of it. But, they did not mention it until I went there. Wasted my time and ruined my day.
Patrick was great. He was patient and willing to show me multiple vehicles until I found what was right for me. He was relaxed and professional and didn’t try to push a vehicle on me that didn’t fit my needs just to make a sale. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The entire experience was low to no pressure and easy.

This is my first time getting a new vehicle on my own. I looked on their website and saw a lot of vehicles available that I was interested in. Got a call from a representative answering all of my questions about a specific Kia Seltos they had listed and the rep even went into details about a special they had that week about leasing. I drove all the way from Lakewood expecting to come back with a new leased vehicle. 1. They didn’t even have the specific vehicle available listed online on the lot or available. 2. When I asked what cars on the lot are available to lease the nice salesman sadly said “none.” 3. It would take 3-6 months if I was interested in ordering one…. I 100% got tricked into coming here and it was a waste of my time. Terrible first time experience
I purchased a Truck that was listed on Cargurus.com. My sales Rep. Patrick made sure I had everything I needed to make an informed decision. Because I was over 10 hours away and couldnt see the Truck in person. He sent me videos and still photos at every angle I requested. Once we made an agreement. I flew there to get the Truck and they picked me up from the Airport. Everyone at the dealership was very welcoming. Overall it was a great experience. Thanks Vandevere. And Thanks again Patrick!

I had a great experience this weekend at VanDevere KIA. The staff, and most especially the sales agent I worked with, Nico, were all very friendly and accommodating. This was my first time purchasing a vehicle so I spent a few months doing research on the model I was interested in. By the time I went to visit VanDevere I pretty much knew exactly what the car was worth and what I would be willing to pay for it. Nico was very kind, knowledgable, and seemed genuinely interested in helping me making a decision that was right for me. When we spoke about pricing I asked to see an itemized list of fees and was very happy to see that there werent any hidden surprises. He was very upfront and honest throughout the entire buying process, which I appreciated. Buying a car is typically very stressful but I walked away from the experience feeling very confident that I received a great deal on a high quality vehicle I will keep for years to come. Highly recommend!
BEWARE! Generally I have had a good experience here, however I refered my dad here to buy a vehicle, he bought a used vehicle with a warranty 2 weeks into him owning the car the lights dont always turn on. This was not disclosed at time of purchase. $11000 for a vehicle you still have to repair. we were told this isnt covered because he didnt buy the proper coverage for it to be fixed without being charged. The sales team who sold it to us gave us a number to call and the number is just a general receptionist which starts to make you feel like they just gave you a number so you would leave. I will never purchase another vehicle from this place and will warn anyone that I am able to, to never purchase a vehicle from this place its a rip off waiting to happen.
I went to the dealership with a specific price range in mind and two vehicles I was trying to decide between. Alec helped me to get exactly what I wanted in a vehicle I didn’t even know they made. I purchased my 2018 Kia Sportage in May of 2021 and the sales experience was a serviceable, if exhausting one. This was the first auto I’ve ever purchased from a dealership and as a new parent, I wanted something reliable and with a decent warranty so I wouldn’t have to spend a lot of time under the hood. After several hours of waiting I was taken to the back room and talked into all the bells and whistles as well (Extended Warranty, Gap insurance, the works.) This was with the understanding that the “Vandevere Lifetime Warranty” only covered the drive train, and the “Extended Warranty” was much more expansive in the things it covered.Well lo and behold 3 months and less than 1000 miles later, the check engine light comes on and the vehicle loudly excalims “There’s an issue with the Engine Control System.” You’d think I wouldn’t still need an OBD2 reader on a car that runs self diagnostics but all the UVO app told me was to bring it into the dealership. I ran my own code read and it was alerting to a “Malfunctioning Intake Manifold Runner Control.” Still, I took it to Vendevere’s Service Center and was told that it was going to take several hours to diagnose the issue. I was also told that there would be a $135 diagnostic fee, but “not to worry, that will almost certainly come down to a $50 deductible since you’ve got the extended warranty!” Five hours later I get the call I was already expecting.. “Unfortunately, this part isn’t covered by your extended warranty. It’ll be $770.00 to replace the part.” Now, I’m not an ace mechanic by any stretch, but even a cursory Google search would tell you that $700 for an MRC replacement, especially on a vehicle where it’s basically sitting on top of the engine block! Is absolutely insane. I’ll be able to buy the part for less than $200 and install it myself in about 10 minutes without removing anything else from the engine. Anyone with a socket wrench could do this repair.I totally get that a dealership is going to charge more than your Average Joe garage. That’s not what has me so livid. It’s the fact that I was sold a bill of goods by a what I hoped wasn’t a sleazy company. But the way they sold me on the extended warranty was misleading under the best of circumstances. Vandevere SEEMED different but it turns out they’re just as shady as all the other dealerships. Well, I’ve learned my lesson. My first experience with a place like Vandevere will sadly also be my last. If you’ve made it this far, thank you dear reader. And I implore you to learn from my mistake. DO NOT TRUST VANDEVERE AND DO NOT GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY! It’s not worth the paper it’s printed on.
I honestly wish i could give 0 stars, there was 1 caring individual in the entire place and he did everything he could for us. Yet others including management failed to ensure a vehicle was saved for our multiple hour trip even after a deposit was offered. We were constantly told it was yet it had been sold all along while active on every platform. When confronting our complaints it was as if no care was given because regardless their profit was made. Do not recommend!
Dave is amazing! My wife and I bought a car from Dave right before Covid hit - he was professional and honest! He was able to get us the car we wanted at a price we could afford so we definitely knew dave was our guy. Went in to look at a carnival (website said they had some in stock) but they were sold out. Dave said he would call us when another came in. The NEXT business day Dave called and said they got one in. Needless to say, that night I was driving my new Carnival home. I can’t recommend Dave (or Van Devere) highly enough!

As someone who has worked in sales I can understand the pressure when with a client and she wasn’t selling me on anything, but helping me with everything. Go to her if you are looking for a new vehicle! She will get you what you want and need.
Dave was awesome to work with. He was to the point and didnt try to talk me into anything. It was comfortable and he was very knowledgeable about the kia that I bought. Dave spent quality time walking us through the details and got us the best deal he could, he definitely went the extra mile for us.
We purchased a used, 2018 Jeep Compass on a Saturday. The cars mechanical system started glitching 4 days later making it inoperable. Upon calling Vandevere, I was instructed to tow the car to a Jeep dealership (out of pocket) to see if theyd fix it. The Vandevere team sold me a dysfunctional car and let me figure out a solution on my own. Just know that if something goes wrong with car you buy, theyll do nothing to make it right.
We had been thinking about purchasing a vehicle for a while and had heard really great things about Vandevere. We live about an hour+ away and we were not disappointed! We were able to make an appointment, meet with a sales rep right away who really took time to listen to our needs and we left with a great vehicle! Everyone was very friendly and answered all of my questions! Highly recommend!
The day I walked into VanDevere Kia in March 2021 I was excited about getting a new car and trading in my existing lease. We were able to come to an agreement for the trade in and I was able to leave feeling confident about my decision. It was not until 1 month later I knew there was an issue when I began receiving collection calls for my old 2018 Kia that I was pass due on my account. I explained to them that I no longer had the car and it should have been paid off by the dealer. I called and spoke to the sales manager Justin who at first was very helpful and seemed as if he wanted to assist in resolving the issue. He promised me that I would receive a call from them to explain the situation and how it could be resolved. I have NOT HEARD 1 word from them since that time. I have even called back requesting a call from Justin and have not heard anything from them or anyone at VanDevere Kia. I have been on the phone now several times with KMF to resolve this issue myself. KMF informed me that VanDevere has been in contact with them only regarding the Title not about why the account has still 2 months later not been paid off and closed. Its sad that you invest so much time at a dealership and money the day you decide to purchase a new car and the response and customer service is so horrible. I feel very dissatisfied with the service that I have received and it is sad that they do not really care about the customer unless you are in front of them handing over a check. I would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. Customers beware.
I recently traded in my Forte for a sportage. The experience was great, the staff was very nice they offered snacks and drinks while I waited. My salesman Mike Robinson was very professional and explained every detail about the vehicle and financing options. I couldnt be happier. Thanks again.

I bought a car here Monday. I am very happy with the car, the price, and the service. The only thing I could say I didn’t like was that they wait until after the paperwork is done between the bank and the sales person to give you the final paperwork that includes an offer for an extended warranty. They expect you to pay for the warranty with cash and I am just not the person to have an extra $2,000-5,000 in cash just sitting in my bank account. I ended up passing on it, but would have considered the extended mechanical warranty if it was added into my loan. Other than that, 👍🏻👍🏻.

David was extremely helpful. I dread going to look for a new car, but thats not the case anymore. Sometimes it feels salesmen can be pushy, but not the sales people at VanDevere. They made us feel welcome, and worked with us to find a new to us van. We found our new dealership we will be using from now on.
I had been searching for a Kia Telluride for a few months. Patrick Scofield at VanDevere Kia was great to work with. He was very prompt to answer all of my questions. VanDevere offered a good price compared to many other dealers that I had contacted. So much so that I drove from NC to OH to buy the car.Patrick was able to make the process very smooth as we were able to get a bunch of the legwork done the day before driving up to OH. Also, the dealership was very mindful of the Covid guidelines so there were no concerns there while we were at the dealership going through the buying process.I would definitely recommend Patrick and VanDevere if you are in the market for a car.

Little late but drove by them the other day and remembered my experience and feel its still worth noting. I went looking for a car, the issue was my trade in at the time wasnt there. We had an appointment but were not really high on the priority list. When we went out to look at the car, the sales woman did not bring the keys and acted annoyed when we asked to see inside. At no point was a test drive even brought up. It is safe to say they lost the sale and I went to VW
I went in not know exactly what to expect, being it was my first time buying a brand new car. Amy Fisher was knowledgeable and was able to work with the price range that was reasonable for me. A great car buying experience. We had an appointment and our salesman met us in the parking lot. He greeted us and made us feel welcome. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle we were looking at and made the experience really simple. We left with the vehicle, and for one of the few times ever buying a car, felt like we got a good deal. The employees treat you like family and our salesman, Patrick Scofield, was amazing. I was looking for a new car, as my 2002 was on its last leg. Knowing my credit score had taken a dump after being laid off for almost 3 years from full-time work and getting a divorce, I was very hesitant to look for a new car. Id also not had a car payment for almost 15 years, as Id always been able to save and pay cash for my vehicles. I also had never thought about purchasing a Kia. However, I went to VanDevere and they worked with me. I said what price I could pay per month, and although what kept coming back with from the lenders was more than I had stated, they kept working until I got the price I wanted to pay. (I then turned around and had my vehicle refinanced through my insurance company for a lower rate and monthly payment.) The sales experience was a good one. It took a lot longer than I thought it would, but everyone was friendly and worked with me. I also appreciate the extended VanDevere warranty, car wash service and that they will honor any oil change coupon. The car wash is especially nice since I spend more on car washes per month than I do on 4 oil changes a year. I have recommended the dealership to others. Car buying isnt a painless experience, but the staff made it sting a little less than I expected. Thank you.

We drove 2 1/2 hours to check out this dealership because of their online prices we found. I’m not a fan of car shopping because I have had the pest history with them but we were very impressed with the up-front approach and customer service.Our salesman Ronnie Brown met us at the door, was polite, well spoken, and up front about pricing and features on the various vehicles along with the positive and negative about the different models we looked at. We were also very impressed with their sales manager Mack who took the time to explain how the differ options worked and took the time to do a price comparison which was a huge factor in our final decision.We ended up talking home a completely different car than we went to look at but I would recommend this dealership to any friends that were looking in that area.
I just want to say my overall experience at this dealership was great. Kenny Richardson helped me out the most and made the process as smooth as possible. I’ve been looking for a car for about 6 months and every other dealership I went to I could tell the salesman was not for my best interest, they just were more focused on trying to get a sale, but it was different with Kenny. He took his time and explained to me everything that I needed to know and what would get me exactly to what amount I wanted to pay for my vehicle. Crystal is awesome! She sold me my 2020 Kia Telluride. She gave me top notch service as soon as I walked in. I will be definitely asking for her when I purchase a car for my son. She is wonderful! Takes her time and very knowledgeable. Her shift was over and she stayed to make sure everything was completed properly for me. She went over all the features of the car with me and setup my app on my phone. She even reached out after I purchased the car, to see if everything was going good. Took my 4 year old Sportage in for service because the check engine light was on. Told me it was spark plugs but didn’t have them in stock. Guaranteed it would be done the next day and didn’t give me a rental car. Took 3 days to get my car. They didn’t fix the problem, car broke down 2 days later. They wouldn’t even make the towing arrangements for me to take the car in for another service
I have always had positive experiences coming here. Buying my car back in the beginning of 2019 was a hassle free process. It takes awhile, but thats anywhere really. Cody made sure I was comfortable and was easy to talk to. I will consider coming back here in a couple years when Im ready to upgrade my whip.
Patrick is a theft, had to give one star so I can leave a review but deserves 0. Im a veteran and came in on Saturday before Memorial Day to lease a Forte with $1000 down. His best offer was $210 a month. Went to Ken Ganley KIA and got the same for $154 a month with $641 down! Go to Ken Ganley KIA.

Leased a 2020 forte. Nothing but issues. Car pulls left and right. Engine sounds like it has a knock on start up. Once warmed I hear plastic in the engine compartment rattling. Transmission has a whining noise. Brought it more than once for issues I’m experiencing I get “oh that’s normal” “there’s nothing we can find with it” pretty sure I got a lemon. Well I’m ready to drop it back off after 7 months of having it and throwing the keys right across the show room floor. Even my sales guy hasn’t even bothered to get in touched with me since I walked out of the lot that day! NEVER again!

I purchased a 2012 Kia Optima. My sales representative was Michael Robinson. He was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the car. He made the buying experience as quick and efficient as possible. He also provided a brief tour of the dealership pointing out the various services that they provide and the amenities of the customer waiting area.I have also visited the dealership for a scheduled oil change. That whole process was efficient as well.

I was in a car accident and my car needed to be repaired. We called and spoke with Sue on the phone and she was super helpful and friendly. I was able to bring my car in the same day and get a rental in the same day. I met with Shane who was the gentleman working on my car and he was so great and helpful. A car repair that was suppose to take 2 weeks ended getting done in 5 days. Service was great and working with Shane and Sue made the experience even better.

Dave the short salesman is a liar. My husband and I got a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan from them and while we like the vehicle every time we called to schedule an oil change we were told it want time yet. Now that it is time I’m told I don’t have pre-paid service. Let me say that it is never the cost of the oil change we have no problem paying for an oil change we have a problem being LIED to it is the principal that when we were purchasing this vehicle was told we had pre-paid service for the oil changes for 3 years. An average of 6 oil changes for the next three years. If purchasing from them I suggest you get EVERYTHING YOUR SALESMAN TELLS YOU IN WRITING. Will not be returning and will be reporting them to the better business bureau.
Bought a 2018 Titan Midnight off these guys a few months ago.. Initially the experience was great. Nice and friendly atmosphere, no pressure.. But it went south as soon as I left the dealership.. The salesman Corey Watson made a promise that they would take care of 2 things on the truck the following week after I bought it. #1 They would repair or replace the 8 rip on the tonneau cover, and replace the cup holder that was spray painted with bed liner... After no response for a week I tried calling, texting and emailing him.. nothing for 2 weeks. He was avoiding me as if I was no longer a customer to him.. Finally he picked up one day.. Told me that he NEVER said or promised me anything and completely denied that he had even mentioned it. He also accused me of lying about it when that was something he clearly promised to me before I left the lot. I mentioned it more than once before I left and each time he gave me assurance.. The call led to him yelling and screaming at me with a very angry voice and also threatened to fight me at one point.. I never in my life had an experience like that with someone, let alone a salesman. This person was supposed to be upholding the values and integrity of VanDevere.. Obviously that was not the case. I was bullied into letting this matter go.. Instead of offering a resolution I was treated horribly. AVOID THIS PLACE.

We have purchased now 3 Kias from there and i couldnt be more happier , both my parents purchased theirs and i just recently purchased mine with the help of Rich as my salesman , and he did a amazing job , the service dept is great , always the friendliest of faces and willing to help in anyway they can. Their financial team is also amazing Mike Brown was our guy and he was amazing , working with us and explaining everything!i would and will recommend this place to everyone i know looking for a car !
I purchased a 2017 Kia Rio from VanDevere Kia in Akron. The salesman that assisted me was Steve and Steve was very helpful and made my first buying experience easy and comfortable. I am very grateful to have had such a wonderful experience with VanDevere Kia and I appreciate the honesty of all of their wonderful staff. I am loving my new car and will definitely be returning for servicing and to purchase another vehicle in the distant future.
Ellery was awesome. He was able to help me get the car I wanted and keep it in my budget. He walked me through the whole process and contacted me a couple days later to see how I was enjoying my new car. I would highly recommend Van Devere and Ellery for your car buying experience.

2022-06-27I am finally getting around to doing a review after purchasing a car about a month ago! Let me tell you as a first time buyer, buying a car on my own I was NERVOUS. Well David Figueroa put all my nerves to ease and was amazing!! He worked well with me, answered all my questions and made sure I got in the car I wanted. I never once felt pressured to buy and I felt right at home, honestly he’s the type of guy you’d want to go grab a beer with. When looking for a new/used car go to Vandevere and ask for David he’s awesome and he’ll be sure to hook you up. Love my ‘17 Kia Sportage!!

No matter what question I had, they took the time to make sure I was informed. From Mack, to Nico, and everyone I encountered... It was refreshing to see straight honesty and genuine care. 2022-03-22Bought my 2022 Kia Soul in January of 2022, my first brand new car and my first time buying from a dealership. the sales experience was everything I could’ve wanted. Mike Robinson as well as the finance department made sure I knew everything I needed to know about my new car, the loan process, warranty info etc. not only was the sales experience amazing, I had an easy time dealing with the collision center. i got in an accident less than 2 months after I bought the car (not my fault but that’s not the point lol), I had it towed right to the dealership for body work. Not only were they fast getting me my car back, they did an impeccable job with the work itself. You can’t tell anyone ever hit it, it drives just like the day I took it home, and they detailed the inside and out which was a nice surprise. Highly recommend vandevere for any new car buyers!!! I included a picture from the day I bought it, and they say I picked it up from the body shop.

2021-10-22Overall, excellent car buying experience from VanDevere Kia. I worked with David Figueroa and Richard Glidden in Finance, and these guys did an awesome job working with me to secure a brand new 2022 Kia K5 GT-Line, while utilizing the positive equity trading in my old vehicle. I drove 2 hours from PA to get this car and these guys made it happen for me all within the same evening, they stayed until 10:30 p.m. to finalize all the paperwork and made sure I was leaving with the car that same night. I was originally anticipating waiting until mid-November and then David called me about this car being available and I jumped right on the opportunity. 2022-02-23VanDevere is an awesome dealership who really handled and took care of my needs professionally and completely. Dave Sabitina was great in handling my purchase from start to finish and kept things very transparent, quick and simple. He had a car coming in that I wanted, and he gave me a very competitive price on it. I gave him a deposit, the car came in the next day and picked it up a couple days later. I couldnt be happier with the experience I had and would recommend VanDevere to anyone searching for an automobile.
