Valvoline Instant Oil Change in other cities:
I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else to get my oil changed. The technicians are extremely passionate about their professions. I dont know much about engines however the technicians explained everything with such detail that I felt confident the entire time I was there. An added bonus is that you get to sit in your car the entire time. I had a great conversation with Eddie while the other friendly people worked on my car. I recommend this place to everyone. Make sure you go to their website and print off a coupon before you stop in!
I have been going here for years and consistently get above-average service that is quick and professional. Today I went in for my AC to be recharged. The manager was off-duty, but he came out on this almost 100 degree day and performed the service himself on my car so I wouldnt have to wait and that his staff wouldnt be rushed to finish the other customers. Always good service and never a problem. Highly recommended!!!
They were awesome!! Maddy was great and her customer service skills were outstanding!! They closed right after we pulled in, but they had no problem servicing my BMW. They even went above and beyond by running an extra 2 quarts of oil through the engine when I asked. I will definitely be going back for any other automotive needs!! Again Maddy was awesome!!
After getting an oil change oil was leaking on my driveway. I took it in and there was no accountability or honesty about what they clearly did. I took it to midas and they diagnosed what happened and oil was leaking all over the engine. It costed $1000 to repair. Valvoline could clearly care less. Their employees seem under trained and rushed
This location today 2/15/2020 did an oil change on my cousins car. When he went in he had a minor leak from his valve cover gasket which we knew about. When he came home he had a huge leak from what looks to be the oil pan which was not there prior to the oil change and his oil pan is dented with the black pain on it peeled off. Took the car back and they said that its not there fault and it has to go to a service center and refused to reimburse anything if we take it to a shop. I will never go to this or any other location due to poor service and will be filing legal actions due to damages to the oil pan.
Great, fast service! I went there to have my wiper blades replaced, and I received excellent service. After installing the blades, the staff had me test to see if it was working properly. During this they noticed that one of the blades was not working properly, so they replaced it a no extra cost and even came over to me and explained that it was a factory defect. So, not only was their service great, but the staff was friendly and competent. I will return here for my future car ailments!
This location offers quick and professional service. I was blown away how nice the employees were and will now recommend this place to everyone. They did not try to up sell me on anything and they were just honest people. They offered to give the higher quality products at the same price because it was better for my vehicle. Will now make this my first stop for any future needs.
This is likely to be the least helpful review you will read, as I have never been to a quick oil change place in all my 56 years and have no other quick-change experience to compare it to. Up till now I have changed every drop of oil in all my 43 cars myself -- not because I am cheap, its because I didnt trust these places. I am please to say that I was impressed by the professionalism I saw today, and I will use them again. The only negative part of the experience was all the up-selling one is subjected to. That is likely unavoidable due to the low price advertised for the basic service, and you cant fault them for needing to make money. I feel sorry for people that do not have the knowledge or experience to know if they need Upgraded Oil, Tire Rotation, Transmission Flush, or Fuel Injector Cleaner. How do those people know what to say No (often), when to say Yes (rarely), still walk out satisfied with the experience and confident they have chosen properly according to their budget and their car?
Pulled up with one customer infront of me at 12:50, one employee told me it wouldnt take more than 10 minutes. I was on my lunch break (ending at 1:30), and didnt pull out of the garage until 1:55. There were 4 employees working at the time and it didnt seem as if any of them had a clue what they were doing except for one of them. I probably could have had a quicker oil change going to a damn mechanic. Dont call a business instant oil change if it takes an hour to change someones oil; first and last time I will go to a Valvoline instant oil change.
Everything was great until I pulled away and noticed my car making an odd sound. I proceeded to keep driving in hope this sound would go away. I finally pulled over to see what the problem was and it was my skid plate scraping along the ground. I returned to the Valvoline and they apologized and said they would fix it Asap. They fixed it and were very nice about it, but it made me extremely irritated I had to wait 20 minutes for them to fasten two bolts in.
First a conventional oil change is $38.99, not $39.99, and they change the oil filter for free. They also check your tire pressure, tire tread depth, all the fluids in your car, your battery, your serpentine belt, and all your lights to see if you have a bulb out. No other oil change place will do that. The service is exceptional, one of the best Ive seen from other oil change places.
Went for an oil change, instead they drained the transmission fluid and never changed oil. We drove away, after about 15 miles the engine raced, gears slipped and transmission was clearly damaged. They admit the event, paid for another service station to change oil, but accept no further responsibility. They damaged my car and I am on my own. Beyond disappointing.

2018-04-22Oil change and routine service was great, but I had a taillight out and they said they could fix it. The guy had a heck of a time getting the plastic cover off but was able to replace it. Once I got home, I saw that he had chipped part of the cover and did not inform me. So Im going to pay an extra $60 to replace, which isnt a huge amount, but the fact that he didnt tell me was wrong. Will not be doing business with them again.

2021-03-02Best service you can get! Used to go to Jiffy Lube and tried Valvolline one day and could not believe how quick, thorough, friendly and efficient they are. My favorite part is you Dont even have to get out of your car. Just pull in and a team of mechanics immediately start working on your car. I LOVE them and will never go anywhere else again.

2021-10-25I got here at 8am when it says they are open but haven’t been helped for the first 15 minutes. I work 3rd shift from 11pm-7am. I go to work coming prepared and ready to do the job on time. Can these people not do the same? I’m just trying to get an oil change and go to bed. Do better Powell Valvoline!

2020-10-10I decided to have them flush my radiator and fill it up with fresh fluid. This was supposed to be a quick operation and they ended up removing the drain plug instead of just loosening it. They then lost the plug and it took an hour and a half to complete the service instead of the 20ish minutes I was told. The guys were polite and tried to fix the problem, and things can happen - they ended up doing the job and I have no hard feelings against them. We all make mistakes! The issue is that they made me miss an important professional appointment (I couldn’t leave with an empty radiator!) and told me I’d get a 50i% off coupon for my next oil change by email as a way to apologize. It’s been almost two months and I never got the coupon, which is very disappointing. That’s the part of the process they had control over - making it right - and someone dropped the ball. I’ve been to Valvoline for oil changes and other maintenance needs on my two cars for the past six years, and I think it’s time to try a competitor.

2020-09-04Car problems stress me out majorly and the guys at this location made this super low stress for me!! They showed me the cost breakdown so I could see exactly what I was paying for, they were efficient, and they communicated throughout the whole process (which only took about 20 minutes for battery replacement and oil change).
