There is zero customer support. No way, NO WAY to talk to a human. When I tried to sign up for their on line service the only thing achieved was UPS getting access to my Amazon account after I was told I could sign in through them. The I couldnt get on the UPS site to make changes to my delivery. Changes that would have cost me between $6.00 and $15.00.
They’re pushing their work onto the USPS not only making it harder for them but an inconvenience to the customer.. arrived at the post office to see if my package was even there bc I had no idea they were dropping it at the PO.. get there for the clerk to tell me they charge if I pick up a day early! Are you serious?!! Gtfoh.. do your job UPS!!
I paid for second day air on truck parts because I needed them asap then they got delayed and I called ups customer service twice and they just said its delayed well YEAH!!! Its delayed its not here obviously. I couldnt have been more nice im not a super aggressive guy but I waited for 30 mins to talk to the supervisor just for him to tell me it is also delayed and he cant refund my money for paying for 2nd day air even though it will be 5 days later... I highly suggest going with another shipper after this fiasco.
This is by far the worst package delivery experience I’ve ever had... two times in a row. Let me first express that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with a REAL PERSON for customer service which was incredible frustrating when trying to deal with these situations. I was not home to sign for the first package so the driver left an info notice on my door for it to be delivered the next day. I checked the box stating that they could drop it off at a neighbors house and gave the address. Instead they dropped it off at mine and then the package was stolen and even upon my request, they didn’t help compensate me for my medication which was in the package meaning I had to purchase it without insurance coverage. For the second package, it took me forever to get a hold of a customer service rep to ensure a pickup time for me to collect my package. After doing so, I arrived at this customer center where they told me that the driver with my package was late and I would have to come back after the holiday weekend to collect it. Takes me over an hour to get here seeing as I don’t own a vehicle and had to make the trip twice. I’m not amused.
I have had a package that I ordered on the 3rd of November be In Transit for 4 weeks now. I was supposed to receive it on the 3rd and its now the 10th. Keep getting texts saying Departed USPS Destination Facility Akron Ohio. If I could just freaking drive there and pick it up myself instead of having to wait that would be great..... It arrived at USPS akron ohio on November 7th... WHAT THE HECK ARE WE DOING PEOPLE?! I would give 0 stars if it was an option.
Ive always received excellent service at industrial parkway location!! Even though theres just one guy there, he has always been friendly and helpful! Sometimes I bring several boxes and hell go in the back and find a single large box to put the smaller boxes in to save money on shipping!! I dont know how he keeps such a cheerful disposition but he does everything with a smile!!One day I plan to get his name!? He is truly an Angel!! Thanks for everything you do!! I truly appreciate it!!☺️.
I was dropping some textbook rentals off to be shipped back to Amazon. I had the printing labels already printed off, all the UPS worker at the counter had to do was tape the correct shipping label to the box with the book inside.I was only able to ship one book at first, because they had only one box but no more boxes or envelopes to purchase to ship the other book, so I had to go down the street to U-Haul to by a small box for the other book. Not the biggest deal but was slightly tedious. When I came back to ship the remaining book, I noticed the worker had made a mistake and taped the wrong shipping label to the box for the book earlier before I left to U-Haul.I had to contact Amazon customer service to inquire about what to do. Everything worked out okay in the end and I wasnt going to be charged for the rentals not being returned on time thanks to Amazon, but I had to spend over an hour of my time sorting out the mess going back and forth with Amazon customer service and getting some info from the UPS worker at the desk.The whole ordeal was much more trouble than it was worth and it was all caused by a UPS worker at the front desk who couldnt do something as simple as making sure he was taped the correct shipping label to the package. What was supposed to be a short, sweet, and simple task turned into an absurd amount of trouble.To make matters worse, the worker tried to downplay his mistake as no big deal and refused to own up and take any amount of real responsibility. This was my first and will be my last time using this UPS center to ship a package. Theres plenty of drop-offs centers around the area to bother with this one. I figured Id go to this one since it was closest to me, but will gladly go a little out of my way in the future to a different one.
Whoever the drivers are on my route are the laziest people Ive ever come across. They constantly deliver my packages to the neighbors house instead of mine. If they do actually attempt delivery to the correct house they leave infonotices on my door when Im home and the garage door is open with 2 cars in the garage or driveway. Every single time a package is coming from UPS, I have an issue with it. The drivers just dont want to walk down the driveway and deliver my packages. We live about 500 feet from the street and they will use their discretion as they call it if they choose to walk down the driveway and deliver my package that day or not. Now when I receive an exception because of an emergency situation or severe weather, I expect there to be some type of bad weather or something going on outside, not that the driver just didnt want to walk down the driveway! If I receive an exception because of the weather I expect NOBODY in my delivery area to be receiving their packages! I have had to find drivers in other neighborhoods and chase them down to get my packages because they didnt even attempt delivery when Im sitting at home. And this isnt something that has happened a couple times. It happens every single time something is delivered from UPS. It is a complete joke the way they operate. Total joke of a branch...
The service here is excellent. Every time I go in, the Customer service is outstanding. I ship a lot of packages to my nieces because their parents are in the Navy, and, sometimes I need to return things from online purchases. I never worry about it with UPS, and I have never had a problem with anything in all of the years I have dropped things off here.
Its good to know when you are getting a delivery, except for the times when the window is like waiting for a cable installer. Sometimes its in the am, sometimes after 5......but its good at least get my package by driving to the other side of town. I guess the hub is the better part of the entire business.
They have delivered 2 out of two packages to the wrong address in the last week, Takes me hours to speak with a rep, have a claim form sent, fill it out and send back, meanwhile, they changed the zip code on my package during the delivery process and delayed delivery only to change it to someone elses address. They are the worst! I havent gotten my first package yet and that was suppose to be delivered a week ago! Thanks UPS
Exceptional customer service!I called customer service with a question about a delay on my package. The UPS app said it would be delivered between a certain time frame, and it was past that time frame. I expected it to be, since there was a delay on my package. The representative new exactly how to handle my questions, and immediately messaged the Akron UPS customer center and made sure a supervisor would reach out to me in a timely manner.The supervisor called me within he next 15 minutes and let me know she had spoken to the driver with my package, and that he was about 10 minutes away. He showed up, knocked on the door and made sure we got the package personally.If I have any other hang ups or questions in the future. I will definitely do business this is the center that I work with in the future
I will NEVER use UPS again. It’s monday and I’m still waiting on a package that was supposed to be delivered FRIDAY. It was my children’s new swing set for Easter that never came.. when I spoke to Marylyn, the store manager, she was extremely rude and couldn’t tell me why my package was on a trailer that wouldn’t be unlocked until Monday, when it was supposed to be at my door on Friday. It’s now 2pm on Monday and the tracking status hasn’t changed on my package since Friday morning. UPS also marked my address as a business so they wouldn’t deliver to me on a Friday anyways Is what I was told with no answer as to how or why it happened or if it could be fixed. This place is a joke.
The drivers around here are a joke, they could not figure out that my physical address was also my apartment number?! The numbers are prominently displayed outside in a visible well lit area and the building number is on the side in six foot tall digits!!! This lazy and or stupid driver doesn’t want to get out of their truck and now I have to go out of my way to go pick up my package when it’s THEIR JOB to deliver it!
I received several emails that stated my package would be delivered on a certain date and still no package . Then I call and get run around by some foreign speaking person that has no idea of where my package was or when its gonna be delivered.The next time I order or ship something I will use FEDEX they keep their delivery dates and times as promised
Your drivers continually drop off my neighbors packages on my porch. My neighbor is the unit in the back. Im fed up of having to take the packages over to my neighbor and completing your deliveries. Are your drivers illiterate or just plain lazy knowing Ill complete the job? Can I get a cut of their paychecks? My house number is in 3 high numbers near my doorbell yet the packages are still left on my porch. Do I need to paint 1 tall numbers on my welcome mat?
I paid for one-day delivery, which my phone was supposed to be here on Friday. And it wasnt because I wasnt at home. They left me a message saying that the phone will be delivered next week Monday by 1:00 p.m. So I did not go out this time just to wait for my phone to be here and it wasnt either. I called the place and they told me that they out it in the other post office near Kent. So I had to pick it up myself. Its like I understand the first time I did not get my package, how about the second time? If a company does not learn from any mistakes that they made, then what kind of costumer service can we expect from them? I do not recommend this UPS store.
If I could give it zero stars I would. They emailed me saying my package would be delivered by 9pm on 11/10/2018. So I called then at 9:20 pm wondering why I havent received it and their like yeah sorry there was a problem with your delivery but she wouldnt specify WHAT KIND of problem so she transferred me and the guy says hes not sure why I got a garaunteed delivery email because they dont even deliver on saturdays.
I miss a delivery to my house, so I called and asked if I could pick it up later at their Hub location. The woman on the phone told me to be at their hub location just before 7 PM. It is currently 8:33 PM and I havent received my package..... not only did they tell me it would only be a 15 minute wait when I first got here, but never suggested I return home or wait for a second delivery the next day. I am very disappointed with the lack of communication and how I was treated as a customer. Ruined my plans for dinner and pretty much my whole day.
A company that I deal with regularly sent a very important package using UPS overnight shipping on Friday in order for me to have it on Saturday, this is not something new, this company has sent packages to me on Fridays using overnight shipping for me to have on Saturdays so I know it can be done. This time however UPS doesnt deliver my highly important package and informs me that it will be delivered on Monday and that the package is not able to be picked up even though it is sitting 5 mins. from my location. They wouldnt do absolutely nothing to help me in this matter even after I explained to them the importance of having this package TODAY (Saturday). This blows my mind that they have my package that was sent and paid additional for using their overnight shipping it gets 5 mins. from my location and they will not allow me to get my package. I even offered to pay any additional fee that there may have been if it was released to me today and I was told NO and that I have to wait until Monday. This does me no good and really puts my business in a negative situation with a very important client. Not happy with UPS and their customer service reps.
Paid for Next Day Air, it was sent out on a Friday (in the AM) and tracking and customer service stated that I wont receive package till Monday. This is why I typically use FedEx, they do everything they can to get you your package delivered as promised. Unfortunately, the vendor I ordered from has an exclusivity agreement with UPS.
Waited all day for a package that was out for delivery and required a signiture. Package did not arrive. Tried to track the package via their website. Website kept shutting down. Called customer service at 7:35 PM. Got an answering machine. Asking me for my tracking #. Whenever I repeatedly stated my tracking# the computer continually repeated back a diferent tracking #. Terrible customer service. Or should I say no customer service!
Multiple times now Ive not had my packages delivered to my door. Yes I live in an apartment building the apartment number is on my door and the package way am I expected to take my packages up to my apartment. Door to door means you the ups takes my packages to the address on the label not just to the front door of the apartment building.
I got 2 day shipping that was supposed to be delivered on Friday. They left a note saying the package was undeliverable because there was no suitable spot to put the package, which is funny because Ive bought things that came in a 3x2x1 box that cost over $200 that I never needed to sign for (with this current package costing only $20).Because I did not have time to pickup from the UPS customer store, I now have to wait until Monday for my package and put off my plans for another week. If I wouldve known they would have done this, I would have just paid the extra few dollars to go to the parts store.

2022-04-02Ive done a lot of shipping at this particular location in the past, mostly work related (ups red/ over-night shipping). The workers are always friendly and know what theyre doing.Theres a man there in particular who is always really great. I think he has been with the company for most (if not all) of the time Ive shipped there. I always associate UPS with him because of how nice he is. Give that man a bonus or something.

2022-05-17Staff is great, John is a super helpful guy. Its a little confusing to park, pulling through the gates seems odd. Often you will see costumers parking in the employee area not knowing to pull into the gated area. Get to know your local UPS driver, majority of the drivers service the same area daily. They are the first responders of delivery! UPS seems to go the extra mile, more friendly.

2022-05-25Ups just left our package under a tree a half mile from our house. This was a heart device for my older sister. Shame on that driver he could of called me.

2021-11-03Good luck dealing with their local Onboarding department and/or their Corporate HR. They claimed that I was hired, but they would not return my emails or phone calls for more than a week (since I was supposed to begin employment) regarding documentation required (I dont have my original social security card, which most employers dont even need and the SSA stated thats its extremely easy for employers to verify online). Assuming I was hired, I turned down two other opportunities. What a waste of time!

2021-06-18Got a phone call about a pkg that could not be delivered to a PO Box. Evidently the company it came from didnt code it correctly for delivery. The 2 very nice helpful gentlemen at the counter were able to get my pkg for me because all I had was the name of the person that called and no tracking information for this particular pkg. Excellent help!!! Thanks!!

2021-10-28Worst customer service support. All I kept getting was “your package is in transit” from the representative. Even though it is showing that it’s at a facility in Akron….I wanted to pick up my package because it is LATE but the representative was acting annoyed I even called. You all need to do better…..especially before the holidays.

2021-11-28I have been waiting on a package now for days. It just says package in transit and has been there for days and days. Had a gift for someone but us now late and still want the package but who knows when it will get here. Should stay open on Sundays to stay caught up on deliveries
