The carrier I unfortunately have WILL NOT get out of her truck to deliver packages. Nor will she leave a message saying her laziness requires the package to be picked up at the local office. My package was here for almost a week without my knowledge.
Yeah, they are pretty horrid and rude. I’ve hesitated to review, but today was my last straw. I am not sure where the USPS finds its employees, but it certainly is a special place, where those with no people skills or an ounce of motivation hang out. Why the two stars? Because our home delivery person out of this post office is the most lovely, hardworking person I’ve seen employed by the USPS. I actually feel sorry for her. There IS one employee in this P.O. that is somewhat helpful, as well, but those are about the only positive comments I can muster.One of my ongoing issues here is their constant shaking of my packages that are books (which I sell on eBay) and the accusatory tones and looks that I get about media mail. I could care less if the packages are opened...because they ARE media mail, but, darn if they are so untrustworthy, they are rude about it. I would suggest trying to stay away from the woman I encountered today - short curly gray hair, bug eyes. They typically aren’t overly friendly here, but, boy, she took the cake. Rude as they come at the P.O., and that’s saying something! Also, forget calling here...it would be like trying to win the lottery to get helpful assistance.When my media packages have been opened, funny how things end up destroyed, missing, etc. Also, prior to our current deliverer, we had a few lazy people that would not drop off packages (long driveway). I’d see them at the mail box for a bit and then undeliverable statuses show up on the app/online. God knows how lazy they were prior to the app days! Upon perusing reviews, it doesn’t seem any of the local post offices are customer-oriented in the least. I wonder if it is a Summit/Stark County management issue - where I grew up, the P.O. experiences were not so unpleasant.
I was shipping a large number of packages today and the staff at this post office were extremely helpful!! Paul and Amy were great! Thanks!!

I live in an allotment. The mail continuously is put in the wrong mailboxes. A package I ordered said delivered, however it wasnt. I called the Uniontown Post Office numerous times, no one ever answered. I drove to the office asked why no one answers, I was told the employees were told not to answer the phone. The employees could care less if you receive your mail or deliveries. I waited an hour to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor told me to call back with the tracking #. I did what she told me, however she said unfortunately the tracking system wasnt working. Ive yet to receive my package. It is shameful this service is acceptable by the establishment of the executive branch of the Government of the United States
Repeatedly says they cannot deliver due to animal interference. This has been several different packages, on several different occasions. I didnt realize that having dogs inside a locked house or completely fenced in back yard (while Im home, by the way) would be considered animal interference. I guess the delivery person cant be bothered to leave a package or a note at the front door since its such a long walk.
The lady working everyday is quick and nice. Im a regular here.
I am only giving this a one star review because there is no option for me to leave ZERO stars. Being a co-owner in a local small business, I depend on receiving my bills and other mail in my OWN mail box. I also have found, over the past couple weeks, that the local mail carrier has begun putting the whole shopping plazas mail in our own designated mail box....Kind of like them figuring, or assuming, that we will disperse it where it needs to go. We have enough to do with our own business, and do not have time to do the mail carriers job as well, especially if I am not being paid to do so. I also tried to call this post office and try to rectify the situation. That was a joke. After every call that I placed, there was never any answer. The phone rang for so long, that it automatically disconnected itself!! I just typed out this entire email, and tried calling again, to no prevail. Its getting bad when you cant even depend on the UNITED STATES Postal Services anymore....Highly dissatisfied. I would really appreciate some solutions from somebody.
The boss at this facility need some classes in customer service.This guy talks to people with the most disrespect I have ever encountered. Complete jerk.
The driver will not deliver my packages even though the driveway is plowed. I havent even received a pink slip saying the second package delivery was attempted. I found this information online. When I called in, a lady told me that the packages were on the truck to be delivered yesterday, but I still have not received one that was supposed to be here 3 days ago and one that was supposed to be here 2 days ago. She said to call back if they were still not delivered, so I have to call again in the morning. I need to be able to rely on timely deliveries. We get our neighbors mail and they get ours all the time, too. Its also strange to me that the mail never comes at remotely the same time each day. Sometimes it will be around noon, but other days itll be 6 p.m. (or anytime in-between).
Not sure whats going on with delivery in Uniontown...My mail was opened and $250.00 worth of gift cards that I bought were loose in the mailbox. I cant count how many times Ive received my neighbors mail. Heres a new one...flag was up to send out mail, mail was received that day but outgoing mail wasnt taken!
Went in to get a passport photo taken and to submit my application. They submitted a blurry photo and wouldn’t retake it so now I have to expedite the services on a photo. CVS did it with no problem in one take and their machine tells you if it’s gonna pass or not. Lady was nice but ya never again.
The only time people want to write a review is when they need to complain about something. I have been going to this post office for over 10 years. The ladies that work there are friendly, helpful and kind. I have seen people treat them so rude and they still manage to keep their composure and give them good customer service. Im willing to bet every bad review is by someone who thinks the world needs to bend over backwards for them and they have made plenty a scene at this location. Im sure Ive seen a few of them myself and have apologized to the employees for them because its embarrassing for people to treat others that way. In 40 years, this post office has always had the friendliest employees and Im glad they are in my neighborhood. Dont listen to the people who have nothing better to do than complain. Im sure this isnt the first bad review theyve given.
This is the best post office I have ever used. I frequent this post office often, as the North Canton post office is closed. I have to say, even when the NC was in business, I preferred Uniontown. They are fast, knowledgeable, the office is clean and professionally run. I mail packages monthly because my family lives out of state. I have mailed from Akron, Canton, and NC(when open) and the packages always arrive soonest via Uniontown. This just happened Christmas 2018. Packages that were mailed from Akron(mailed there out of convenience because of work) and Uniontown, both priority. The packages mailed from Akron arrived one entire week later. Unbelievable!!! I also got my passport through this post office. They were so nice and helpful. AND I received it quickly!!!! Anyone who frequents post offices, would know from the moment they entered Uniontown Post Office, it should be ranked number one.
I give this office a negative- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Where does my mail go you may ask... surely not my mailbox. Everyone elses is in my box but not mine. Packages that say they were delivered but in fact are not on my doorstep. A bill from october was JUST left at my neighbors houseHere this last few years ive thought maybe my mail lady just hates me... but after reading some of the comments i realize its by far the WORST POST OFFICE IN THE STATE!!!!!!! I trust the u.s. postal service to get me my stuff properly...i find this to be unexcused. This office needs to get there stuff in order. Ugh
HORRIBLE!!!! I wish i could go thru a different post office. I would drive to Cleveland, they are that bad. Lose packages or randomly drop them off at houses and mark them as delivered. Time sensitive items, late, all the time. Throw my mail in my yard. Rude when i went there to get stamps. STAMPS!Who do i call that will take care of this, Im new to the area and from what i hear, this is nothing new. They are flat out, the WORST. If you hate your job, them leave. Avoid at all cost. Go to Hartville or North Canton. And use UPS and FED EX as much as possible.
Have yet to have a decent experience at this location. I get it, its a post office and the work is mundane but being incredibly rude doesnt help. There is one lady in particular who claims she is in management that I purposely avoid just so I dont have to deal with her. Unpleasant is an understatement.
Im not sure why there are so many bad reviews on here for the Uniontown post office.. I always have a really good experience with them. The staff are always extremely pleasant and helpful when I go in there, or when I call with questions they genuinely take the time to help solve the issue and dont act like Im wasting their time. I am happy to have this as my post office!
I get great service here. The Uniontown Ohio USPS staff is friendly and helpful. They keep the service line moving while at the same time treat each customer with respect and helpfulness.
I had a package that was supposed to be delivered to me according to tracking and it never came even though it said it was delivered. I called the post office right before closing on Sat. and spoke with a gentleman named Doug. He told me he would look into it and call me back. I hung up feeling he would probably forget about me. To my surprise, he called me back and said he hadnt located it yet, but he would keep looking and get back to me on Tues. because Mon. was a holiday. The package showed up in my mailbox on Tues. Doug followed up with me on Wed. giving me a call and saying he personally delivered it to my mailbox and that it had been delivered to the wrong house by my carrier. The post office should be so proud of this kind, caring man!!! Great job, Doug!!!!
This is a very sad example of hard earned tax dollars going to waste! The staff are very rude & try getting a package delivered on time. Not at this post office or from the staff. The postal carriers are decent people. Sadly they have to work with the staff at the post office.
Made an appointment and drove 6 hours from my law school to get here only to be called the morning of my appointment canceling it. I guess making an appointment means nothing. The man was very rude and short with me on the phone
I have called and called many times about my mail and how they won’t deliver stuff to my door!!! I never get anything that don’t fit in my mail box!!!! I have been off work from a surgery and my work has tried to send me paperwork that I had to sign for never once did they attempted to deliver to my door my driveway is big enough for semi can turn around literally in it. Now I have again been calling and calling to find out why and no answer!!! This is driving me crazy I need to know what my work is sending me!!!
Most pleasant post office experience! I usually dread the post office but I went to this location for the first time and it couldnt have been a smoother experience. Amy was extremely helpful and kind!
Im not happy with Uniontown Postoffice, this makes 3 times I have mailed my bills out last month and none of them has made there destination .I use to mail the letters in the blue box an was not getting delivered ,so I started mailing them inside and here we go again . I know I mailed them there on same date its been over month an still not made destination .I almost think they are throwing the mail away ...now I have a couple hundred dollars in bills that were mailed from Uniontown an NO ONE has received them I want to know what the hell is going on with my mail Uniontown !
The ladies that work behind the counter are always so kind and helpful. Im at the post office several times a week and its always a great experience. It appropriately has a small town feel and I love it.
I always have a great experience at this post office. All of the workers are kind and knowledgeable. I’m there several times a week and never had any issues.
Went in to pick up a package and the man working at the counter was very rude and argumentative towards everyone in line. He told a man speaking with him to calm down despite him being the one escalating the situation. Not a pleasant experience whatsoever.
Zero stars, I’ve been there twice and the man with a beard is the rudest employee I’ve ever come across. When I need to go to the post office I go to the next town.
Terrible service!! mailed a legal size envelope and it never showed up at the recipient. gave me a phone# to call that wont accept messages or answer the phone.... cost me double to fix this all because of negligence.
They never have things arrive in the right spot, they deliver to different houses and to neighbors and even on different streets, they are not reliable as well as they dont know what they are doing and they are lazy. It always gets to the uniontown ohio post office but unfortunatly never makes it to the house.
The staff was EXTREMELY RUDE except one lady when i had a pakage lost. I was so blown away that someone could say i cant help you ¬ follow that with if you call back at 8am, there will be someone who can...... Just really pisspoor customer service.
I have literally never seen such a rude person working in customer service. Completely unprofessional and uncalled for behavior. Disrespectful language to customers. It wasnt even directed at me but I was appalled.
Tracking said they tried to deliver, unable because of unlocated access to delivery. Its my business, right in Green Shopping Center, where I was,and open, during delivery attempt. Tried the automated call to tell them, they cant understand the spelling of my last name. 😡
Older women with glasses always very helpful with odd shaped packages,she made some very good suggestion s best way to ship.

The service at this post office is terrible. The lady working the service desk is very rude and not willing to help. Terrible service, terrible attitudes. I wish I could give less than 1 star.
Rude. Not helpful, dont go out of their way to help you with customer service. 2 bad experiences in a row. Drive the extra mile or two somewhere else.

They get our mail wrong all the time, they deliver our packages to every house on the street except ours, we have called and complained eight different times, whoever is in charge is an idiot and the staff is very rude and slow, they all need replaced!

2022-05-19I went last week with my husband to get a passport. They would do my husbands but not mine because it had to be renewed even though I had all the stuff for it. The lady was so rude the entire time for us. My parents went the week after and they would help renew theres. Horrible! you dont treat people that way. Than she tried to be nice at the end but it was too late. Will never go there again

2021-12-31Had to go into the post office today for an issue/scam that requiredadditional time to write a letter. I had called yesterday out of breath, in a panic, right before closing when something seemed wrong about an Amazon order. Both times, John was very patient and kind (and so was the other employee in the post office today). We have had great deliverers, too. Thank you for the assistance and good service!

2021-11-16Waited five minutes for someone to come to the counter. Older gentleman with his shirt untucked was the employee to help me. I was simply trying to ask if I could leave my name off of the package I was sending but put the address on. He was super defensive and said he wasn’t going to argue with me and kept interrupting. Rude for absolutely no reason. Unfortunate that some people are that unhappy with their jobs

2021-12-12The temp carrier on my route always leaves us the neighbors mail and we never get our own mail. Who knows where it goes! Today for Amazon Sunday she left my 2 Target orders God knows where as they show delivered yet I never got my packages.

2021-03-18I left work 20min early to get work letters mailed. Traffic was bad and I arrived 3min before 5pm. I walked in the lobby and the older teller was in lobby and said, were closed sorry. I go to my car and check my phone, it was still 4:57. I went back inside the lobby and knocked on window and showed the guys that it was now 4:58 and not 5. They both shrugged their shoulders like OH WELL. They didnt care, so lazy. They sure move fast when its closing time! Nothing will get done im sure. BTW the lady that works in there is always so pleasant!

2021-03-24I absolutely love this post office. They are friendly and get the job done. The younger man who works there is the most knowledgeable post man I’ve ever met when it comes to Prince and professional wrestling. Next time you’re in just ask him about the Black Scorpion. He’s always reaDy to help!!

2020-10-15Uniontown Ohio post office is always the worst experience. Every time I walk in there is a huge line and one postmaster at the counter to help people. The staff is also very rude especially an older woman that is often there with short grey hair. She is too outspoken and is always looking at you weird when you mail a package, like it’s not packaged right or hmmm...what do you have in here. Just overall ridiculous experience and I hate going but it’s literally right next door to my home.

2021-01-20The older guy was non discriminatoryly blatantly rude to all customers. I asked a question about the break down of package costs and if i had any other options and his reply was just...do you want to mail it or not. Unbelievable! I hear the post office pays pretty well so Im sure there are plenty other people who would appreciate his job much more than he does.
