I am completely disheartened by the level of service that was and continues to be rendered by the carriers from the Strongsville location. I have constantly found the mail of others in my box all while awaiting vital mail that was neither delivered to me nor returned to the sender. Mistakes happen but when the mistake becomes continuous it would appear to reflect negatively on the selection of employees. It is my hope that issue be resolved immediately.
I did not receive a package I had ordered which was of great importance. I called FedEx who told me that I had to contact the local post office (they transferred it to USPS). When I called the Strongsville store, I told Michael what the box contained and he immediately took action - found that the box had been misdelivered and contacted my local postman who was able to retrieve the box and deliver it right away. I did not expect such immediate action and feared the worst. Thank you so much to Michael who worked so diligently to find it and to my local postman for going back and retrieving it.
Package dropped off and the workers didnt scan it... its been a few days and the package never was scanned in or shipped, now Im out $400 and cant use the USPS insurance because they claim I never dropped off package. Just stick to UPS and FedEx and ALWAYS have your packaged scanned with receipt never trust to just drop off.
You would think the postman would start assuming that people have HD security cameras around their house, mailbox and street, so when they claim to have delivered something or attempted delivery while never being on the entire street, let alone at the house- and the video shows a different story, they would stop the story telling and do their job.Nothing changes, just more excuses, new driver, new route. etc. The main problem is they are flat out dishonest about delivery and no one cares. If I could cancel mail delivery all together I would do it tomorrow.
Say what you will about the Post Office...its the one old school entity that still remains in my life. The employees at this post office are the best. They care about their customers and their job and will go the extra yard to prove it. We all have bad days and make mistakes in our daily routine. Chuck is one of the folks wed like to personally thank for his one on one service when we had slight problems with shipping. Thanks for being above the stereotypical mundane rhetoric and showing us the reality of good professional caring service.
So yesterday, the person delivering my mail took a package I received and instead of walking it up to the house, like every other decent delivery person ever has, he just left this big box on my tree lawn. Next to the garbage since it was garbage day. Can you guess what happened?? Thats right, the garbage men took the package and now im stuck trying to figure out what to do and who is going to pay for this!Im so angry and frustrated with the USPS right now, words cant even begin to describe it.
Constantly missing mail, getting the neighbors mail and the employees inside are clueless and rude. They didnt even know how to send a package to an APO. Packages even those we should have to sign for are just left somewhere in the front of the house. Somewhere being anywhere from the mailbox, next to the mailbox,in the ditch, placed in the middle of the driveway, next to the garage, on the front walk, and rarely on the front step. My favorite is left in the rain in the driveway, in a puddle. We often find mail (envelopes, flyers, postcards, etc. next to our box too.I have never experienced mail service so poor as I do here.
Constantly receive the wrong mail. I just received an Amazon delivery meant for someone on the street I live off of that now I am responsible for delivering. This happens all the time! I have called to complain numerous times and am tired of their pointless excuses. If I could leave zero stars I certainly would.
Horrible customer service, was put on hold several times for over 20 minutes each, after giving up, I called back the next day. The person that answered the phone was rude and I asked if she had a second to help me with some questions to which she replied let me put you on hold.I was then put on hold and another female answered the phone 5 minutes later with an attitude. Telling me that even though my package was forwarded to a different address in the SAME city, it has to get sent back to the processing center and it will be a 7-10 day delay. I will never use USPS AGAIN.
Anyone complaining about this post office should take a quick drive to visit the bridge troll that works at the brunswick USPS office. I drive out of my way when I require a stop at the post office (which is not often), but I do. I would rather make an extra 10 minute trip than have to see that crabby troll at the Brunswick’s office face for a millisecond.
Not only have i not gotten any of my mail in the last year but no one here seems to know whats going on. When you come here to ask for help you be greeted with hate, disappointment and the feeling that your in the wrong. Iv been there 10 time in the last year and no one knows how to help me.P.S. if you are referred to the 1800-ask-usps and after getting off the phone with a Indian person that gave you a confirmation number to continue your case in problem. And says theyll get back to you. Just give up hope right there and then. I have 2 confirmation numbers from different places and its been over a month since iv got those.
Unbelievable. Got to the location at 2:10 on a Saturday. I didnt realize they closed at 2pm...mainly because I didnt read the sign, but also because the doors were open and there were still people in line. I assumed they were going to finish helping those in line before closing. When I was the last one still here, the two women closed the slide down door. As the doors were coming down, I said something and the one woman stated that they closed at 2 pm. It was 2:10 at this point. I mentioned that I figured they were taking everyone still in line ...and she said No Mam..we closed at 2 Im a little confused as to why and how that really just happened. Whatever happened to Customer Service? ;-(
This location dont pickup when Scheduled and now is refusing to even pickup small packages at all.. So did the USPS stop shipping packages? Im sure I just have a bad postman but this is ridiculous. If I could give a zero I would, service does not match the price paid for a service we dont get!
They need to hire more people. The wait is ridiculous. I phoned in a tracking number because I did not get something I ordered. I was put on hold over five minutes. I hung up and called back and was told they would call me back when they had time. One person working and too much to do!!
THEY DELIVERED TO WRONG BUSINESS TWO TIMES IN A ROW I WAS ABLE TO RECOVERY FIRST PACKAGE 2ND PACKAGE THEY SHOW GPS SCAN TO WRONG BUSINESS THIS BUSINESS CALLS US WHEN IT HAPPENS SO WE CAN GET OUR PACKAGE. HOWEVER THIS TIME EVEN THOUGH IT SHOWS THEY SCANNED IT THERE IT WAS NOT DELIVERED THERE THE POST OFFICE CLAIMS IT WAS THEFT. I TALKED TO CONSUMER AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR USPS AND THEY SAID THAT SINCE THEY SHOW A GPS SCAN TO WRONG ADDRESS IT IS THE STRONGSVILLE POST OFFICE FAULT FOR LOSING THE PACKAGE. ITS NOW BEEN OVER 2 MONTHS AND STRONGSVILLE POST OFFICE HAS DONE NOTHING TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION SO IM AM STILL OUT 205.50. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE MANAGERS END IN STRONGSVILLE.
This is the worst post office district I have ever been in. The worst is having your mail forwarded. One time they never did it and the next time I could not get it changed back. They will tell me everything is set and it is not. Then the mail carriers dont take my mail and give me the wrong mail often.

2022-03-26I visited this location last week to renew my passport, they were very helpful and patient with us at the counter. Very professional even when nasty costumers where yelling at them. My mail always comes on time.

2022-08-08Very dissatisfied with the mail hold service.I had my mail on hold in Feb/March then again in June 2022 and for both times my children’s subscription books were either stolen or thrown out…but either way did not ever reach us. When I inquired at the post office, i was rudely told “what’s there is there”

2021-12-07Do yourself a favor and either head to Berea or Middleburg post office. They don’t scan any packages or track any eBay items. (Have dropped of many items and no initial tracking until they are reach a different location). Plus being a North-sider doesn’t mean I get mail delivered to my mail box till either 6-7pm. Keep up the good job.

2021-09-15Ive had a P.O. box here for a couple of years and have never had any problems with recieving, shipping, ordering free supplies, or any of the employees. In fact, I run an online sales business and use the USPS almost exclusively because of their rates and efficiency - even during the pandemic. I have to wait in line at least once a week and always have a good experience with whomevers working the counter. MUCH better experience at this location than previous locations Ive had to deal with. THANK YOU STRONGSVILLE POST OFFICE!!

2020-12-17I dropped off mails week ago and they still not scanned it or any processing thats showed up in the system. Called to the post office talk to the lady there, she was very rude and said we have a lot of packages and it’s out of our control, everything is behind and I asked her that It had been a week already and my packages still not scanned at least it show up you guys have received my packages? then she responded, we never scanned the packages we just send them out to downtown facility. I hope they won’t claim that I never dropped off my packages.

2022-02-28The last three times I went out of town I completed a mail hold and received confirmations from the post office. All three times the mail wasnt held as promised. Has this service been discontinued?

2016-10-07While all shipping companies/organizations have their issues, this particular post office has always been a pleasant experience for me.The folks at the desk have always been very friendly and helpful. I think this USPS is one of the best ones around, frankly. Ive had some bad experiences at nearby post offices, but never here.Dont let the bad reviews get you down!
