United States Postal Service in other cities:
When someone shows up to put in a hold mail request a crucial thing to make sure they understand is gee idk..... The option of holding mail for AN INDIVIDUAL does not exist at this post office and if you live with anyone their mail will be withheld as well. The official USPS website does allow this option but this specific post office has their own set of rules. *** So: if you need to put a hold on your mail EVERYONEs mail will be on hold. God forbid you clearly communicate with people when they visit here without being condescending. Why is that so hard?
Shocked and disappointed to see so many one star reviews. There are absolutely zero problems with this post office. They have been nothing but helpful and friendly! My packages and mail ALWAYS come on time. Our mail carrier is the friendliest one they have, and he gives our dogs treats :)
Interesting to read the negative reviews. Weve been in Loveland for 2 1/2 years and have lived all over the country. Generally our experience with USPS has been positive, but this office is terrible in terms of attitude.I always approach people in customer service cheerfully with a happy greeting as I know their job stinks a lot of the time. There seems to be no breaking through to these guys, particularly the younger guy who often wears a ball cap. He will not crack a smile and has no interest in small talk.Today we had several packages to ship for Christmas and no interest in dealing with the grumpiness, particularly when it is so busy and the grumpiness was likely to be on steroids. Instead we went to Milford and the ladies there were wonderful. It would be easy to be in a bah-humbug mood working at the post office this time of year, what with the long lines, impatient people and so on. We made mention how refreshing it was to encounter someone working at the P.O. that could actually laugh and smile. Oh, and the terminal went down mid-transaction, so she asked us about our family (even though we had never met before) to pass the time while the system rebooted. Wow.BTW, when we told the agent how much we enjoyed her cheery disposition (and how much we didnt enjoy the Loveland experience), she hung her head and told us she has been hearing that for 20 years. Sounds like changes in Loveland are long overdue.
This place has a ton of terrible reviews. I reluctantly went in to mail out a letter, only because it was close to work. But when i arrived I was greeted immediately by Josh who was so happy and upbeat and extremely helpful as he walked me through a process I’d not been through before. He also helped the gentleman behind me who was in the process of getting some passport documents together. His coworker was friendly and attentive as well. Thanks for making it painless!
Whoever the man is that picks up the phone here, (I assume hes in charge, like a manager?) exhibits excellent customer service and professionalism.I had a package coming that was missing parts of my address. And this person tolerated my many phone calls (which Im sure were annoying) with the upmost kindness and did everything he could to be helpful. And I was able to pickup my package! All during this pandemic too! Im sure he was busy, but still was polite and committed to great service. Five stars.
The large man at the customer counter is plain RUDE - I hope he reads this and takes a hard look at himself and realizes he is a prime example of a Horrible Attitude & Horrible Customer Service.I shipped a package with a tracking number to CA - 2 days later it was delivered to me. I dropped it back in the mail with clearly noted on the package shipped to return address Well.... it was again delivered back to me. So I took the package to the Loveland Post Office and asked Mr. Rude if there was something that could be done to resend the package to the correct address. He said yes - I needed to by another $4.06 stamp and resend it. I was clearly shocked - It was the postal service in the wrong. He said he didnt care and my only option was to by the stamp again. I turned and walked out.**For anyone reading this - I took the same package to Sharonville Post office - and without question - The nice Customer Service apologized for the inconvenience of the the mis-delivered package and without question put a new replacement stamp.Loveland - Get with it and get rid of Mr. Rude - I told my associates of my horrible experience with Mr.Rude - And with no surprise - They knew exactly whom I was talking about.!
Same experience as many others have had on here - probably time to start naming names. The desk associates name is Patrick, and has to be one of the rudest customer service people Ive ever encountered. Not everybody loves their job, but nobodys forcing you to deal with customers directly. I showed up at 5:31, as he was helping another customer, and all I wanted to do was simply drop off a pre labeled package that was ready to go prepaid all of that. instead of just accepting the package or calmly saying come back later he shouts were closer from behind the desk multiple times and fails answer my question as to whether he would even just take it because it was prelabeled. Then, when he came out from the back to lock the door, I asked nicely can you accept the package because its pretty late when Im ready to go. He throws up his hands and said, where were you 10 minutes ago? When I said excuse me oh, he just threw up his hands again and said where were you 10 minutes ago? Still didnt actually answer the question, and no he didnt take the package. The post office close at 5:30, I get it, I would have accepted a very nice we can accept that after hours. What I did not need was the absolutely rude and confrontational response. I live in Loveland but will drive to any other post office from now on.
Lets see, where to begin. Any packages being delivered by this branch has a 50-50 chance of being lost. The delivery people put mail into whatever mailboxes they feel like that day. Things sent by you routinely take much longer than expected to reach their destination. Oh, and when your package goes missing, good luck getting your money back. The USPS will basically look up your tracking number and whatever status the delivery person put is the final say. Whats that? Your package wasnt at your front door/porch? Well the delivery person said they left it there so F you. I guess you have to order again. That is a very interesting way to get more sales, Ill give them that. Bottom line, Id only trust them with spam mail. But since I dont send that, Ill stick with using other branches. Or better yet, other companies like UPS.I just wanted to add that going inside is an alright experience. Yeah, they can be a little slow at times but thats almost always due to customers who wont shut up and not the employees. I do agree the employees can be a little rude but whatever. Im there to buy stamps/money orders/mail something, not make friends with the staff. Besides, if I knew my employer was becoming obsolete and will probably be forced to close in a decade or so Id be pretty upset too.
This is literally the worst post office I have ever been to. I go to Maineville even though we live in Loveland. The desk associates are the rudest I have ever experienced. Both of the older men with grey hair are so rude..... I don’t need a 10 minute lecture on why they can’t tape my package label on when they have tape sitting on the counter. I ended up taking my package and letting them know I’d never come back. It’s sad that no matter how much we complain this still continues. If you don’t enjoy your job, FIND A DIFFERENT ONE GRUMPY MAN!!
If I could give zero stars I would.First off, when I was living at my old apartment we NEVER got our mail. I called once, only to be told their system was down and theyd have to call me back. When I never got a return call, I called back. They transferred me to the driver, who rudely told me that because I didnt pick up my mail quick enough (Im out of town often, but for no more than 2-3 days at a time) that he decided to stop delivering it! My W-2 was even returned and marked undeliverable because this guy took it upon himself to decide I couldnt have my mail. Now Im at a new address (with a WONDERFUL delivery driver, might I add), but today I had a new problem. We went into the physical post office to mail a 1oz. jar of powder. The very rude, very lazy fat guy working (around 9:30 on Feb. 14) told us he couldnt mail it because its flammable. This is completely false as the company I buy these powders from ships using ONLY USPS (I know this because plenty of their customers have requested access to UPS or Fedex thanks to youre terrible services). Literally, every day, all day USPS is shipping and delivering this product all around the country. And Canada. And overseas. I needed to get this in the mail today and this man has now messed up my schedule thanks to his lazy AWFUL customer service skills. Id recommend training your staff better. Or, better yet, firing those who dont want to do anything other than sit on their behind all day.
Tried MULTIPLE times to get packages delivered. When I went to the post office in person to inquire as to where they were the postal employee recognized me from being there the previous day and literally starts saying “where’s the package”. I really am amazed that it operates in this day & age in that matter. On the other hand, when I’d had enough and asked for the supervisor, I was able to obtain one of my packages...I guess that’s a plus?
I had to give one star in order to write a review, but in reality they would get zero or negative stars. The people that work there are rude and must be extremely unhappy. I am a small business owner and frequently go there to send packages. I went there today with already labeled items, while it was raining and trying to juggle my 18 month old and 10 packages through the door. I got there at 5:31, which was right at closing time, but there was still a customer at the counter. All I needed them to do was take and scan my packages and print a receipt for me, 30 seconds tops it wouldve taken them.. Instead the man that is always working and always unpleasant slammed the door in my face.. I had to drive during rush hour to the fields ertel location because they are open until 6, I got there right at closing time but they were nice as can be. Please Loveland post office, is it so hard to smile? Or to be decent human beings and take an extra minute out of your day to help me when you see a woman with a baby and a few packages to send at the end of the day? Poor poor customer service, I will never be back there.
Wanted to pick a package up 1 day early from the post office in Loveland, Ohio, saving the carrier from having to deliver it... The gross, always rude employee was going to charge $14.10 just to find it in the back even with a tracking number provided. How can they lose money every year by charging customers for an early pick up? Your ever efficient U.S. Post Office at work!
After seeing all of the bad reviews I wanted to say that I have had excellent service at the Loveland post office over the years. I have had a box there for more than 20 years and the service has been excellent. I also have had excellent service when I put our home mail service on hold. Rarely they will not deliver all of the accumulated mail the day that we return, but usually they do. Delays at the window seem to be related to a limited number of people working, which is probably something beyond the control of the people at the desk.
Extremely rude and disrespectful supervisor. An employee took photos for our passport. The passport agency rejected the photos and wouldn’t accept them. They sent them back saying the quality was too poor. I had paid to expedite my passport and the delay resulted in me not receiving it expedited. I went into the post office to get new photos and instead of apologizing they argued with me insisting they couldn’t possibly have taken subpar photos even though I showed them the letter from the passport office saying just that. (The photos were bad for the record.) They were so incredibly rude and condescending in their manner of speaking with me. If they were a private business instead of a government entity, they would be out of business with such poor customer service.
Sunday I expected a package. The description said it couldnt be delivered and a note was left yet I was at home all day, no knocking on door, no note, nothing. Tried to call post office on Monday, no one answered.Had to get Amazon to get through to them. Then today I was expected a package. Description says it was left on front porch. It wasnt. Previously had a package marked delivered but it never was; supposedly it was delivered elsewhere yet post office never got it back. Had to get a replacement item. Have had other problems, too.
Showed up 15 min late for my passport appointment. Anticipated not being able to get it done due to being so late. When I arrived, There were no employees present at the counter and another person’s passport application was laying all over the counter unattended. I went to another counter to fill out a check. As I was going through my paperwork, two employees arrived at the counter and the customer whose paperwork was all over the counter walked in.Long-haired, bearded employee approached me and stood there, seemingly irritated by my presence. I said, “I’m late for my appointment. I hope that’s not a problem.” His response, “Oh, it’s a problem.” The other employee, a larger man in suspenders, then pointed to the other customer, calling her a problem as well, as she too was late.I was late. I get it. But what a bunch of rude people. Based on the overall ratings for this place I’m surprised leadership hasn’t taken measures to improve. Maybe leadership, or lack there of, is the problem. Avoid this place!
No matter how much you work with the Loveland OH post office, nothing is done right. I had them hold my mail for vacation. We returned a week early. We kept requesting for them to stop the hold and deliver our mail. We requested online three times. I finally called the post office and they said yep, its still on hold and sitting here. Absurd! They keep putting my mail in the wrong mailboxes. Some neighbors are kind enough to return it (like we do theirs) but one other neighbor never does. In this day and age of identity theft, this is also unacceptable and a huge concern. The postal workers get PAID for supposedly doing their job? How difficult can it be to deliver mail correctly???
HORRIBLE customer service! The employees at this post office offer the worst customer service I have ever seen at any place in the world. Its truly incredible...how they still have a job boggles the mind. The employees should be fired, but more importantly, the manager of this location should be fired. I often drive to USPS in Maineville or just go to UPS to avoid going to the Loveland branch.
Ive requested something to be mailed to me 3 times now since it has never made it to my mailbox. In addition, Ive had other mail that Ive been expecting not make it to my mailbox. Ive never had issues getting mail anywhere Ive lived up until now that I live in Loveland. Ive talked to multiple carriers since there always seems to be someone new on my route, one carrier suggested the company send me mail via FedEx. So yeah, dont trust that your important mail will make it to you. I have very little confidence in this post office branch.
They “misdelivered” a package to the person who lives across from us. Or so the tracking history says. Person who lives across from us doesn’t have the package, this post office isn’t taking accountability and just handing it off to whoever. Really angry about this. Lost my confidence in this post office and now I’m nervous about who has been getting ANY of my mail and answers the question why I haven’t been receiving billing statements (luckily I stay on top of my bills either way) and why other pieces of mail haven’t shown up. And I’m worried about any future packages. I usually shop small and will be requesting whoever I buy from to use UPS or Fedex.
Does anybody know? Is it true? Can we not drop off wedding invitations/save the date cards and have them hand-stamp it Loveland Ohio? I dropped off some today and the man behind the counter said they stopped doing that a long time ago. Well....then why was the stamp readily available - right next to him on the counter? He said if he got to it, and...if he didnt have to help a customer he would. I said then just give it back to me and Ill bring it some other time. He said no hed figure it out. Yuck, made me feel horrible and really tarnished a special life event by his indifference and lies.
Many mistakes by this post office. From not delivering mail to returning mail to the sender including on important documents for no reason. Not to mention the attitude of the staff who obviously dislikes working with customers and shows it with a rather unpleasant attitude. For no reason either as I was just buying stamps and dropping off letters to be mailed.
Absolutely amazing. I tracked a usps packaged that is listed as delivered. I pulled up my security cameras and the mail truck pulled up to my address and the person never got out of the vehicle. He did stop long enough to mark the package as delivered. I called the PO and spoke to Steven. He is amazingly rude and condescending. He will cut you off midway through your sentence and has a horrible attitude. This is my third run-in with this post office and each time it gets worst.
I have stopped having packages delivered to my apartment because they have lost about 80% of my packages. So instead of dealing with the constant mind-numbing headache that is my route driver, I have it delivered to my parents house, they are on a different route entirely. And then dealing with anyone at the branch just zaps any sort of sunshine from your soul. I dread going in to this location. Opening my mailbox when I still had packages delivered to my apartment was like Schrodingers cat.... Is it there, is it not? I will not know until I open it and it almost always left me disappointed.
My regular carrier is fantastic. When Not my regular carrier I get mail for an entirely different street name.Packages always track then say attempted delivery. Cameras say BS.I always pay extra for fedex or Ups if I really want sometjing.Wonder why Amazon uses NOT THE POST OFFICE.
I cannot believe William Lasier Jr. still has his job. He was rude and unhelpful to one of my employees dropping off a bulk mailer. Every other post office she went to was very helpful. William said he rejects the mailers without reason and rolled the cart out into the parking lot for her to load into her car. 8 heavy boxes!!! What a complete unprofessional loser!
We took an appointment for new passport application two weeks in advance. I didnt face any problem whatsoever in applying passport for my 3 months old daughter. Staff was patient and helpful. I couldnt make photocopies of some of the required documents, but the post office staff was kind enough to do it for me.
If I could give no stars, I would. They are the most inept post office I have ever dealt with. Heaven forbid a package comes to you with the wrong zip code. You will never see it again. No one will take a few seconds to look at the address and give it the correct zip so it can be delivered to you. Buffoons.
I got waited on this morning but the employee could use some training on customer service techniques. He didnt respond to a cheery good morning. Didnt say thank you or respond to my have a good day or the customers before me. His attitude and chip on the shoulder needs to be dealt with.
I have not received any mail in over a week. When I went to the post office and spoke with the supervisor she said she would check with our carrier but offered not other follow up. This was three days ago and still not mail, I am expecting very time sensitive and important items, what can I do to make them find and deliver my mail?
Honestly, zero stars would be more appropriate. The man at the front today who “helped” me was rude and inconsiderate. He had no customer service skills and was extremely condescending. Avoid this location like the plague. It will be worth it to me to go the few extra minutes to the Fields Ertel location. At least there I was treated with kindness and respect.
Some of the worst customer service available. Gentleman who has worked here for years needs to not be in customer service.Witnessed afore mentioned gentleman watch a woman struggle with the copying machine yesterday. Customer was 80+ and with a cane. He never stepped in to help (even after I started to assist).Only use the automated machine at this location. Go to Symmes location if you need to interact with a human.
The Loveland Post office is SOOOOOO lazy they did not want to deliver my Amazon Prime product because they did not want to deliver on a Sunday as agreed. They put the address as undeliverable when I have had over $1500 worth of merchandise from Amazon delivered at this very address sine December. This is why no one wants to deal with the post office any longer. Pathetic Service.
Worst customer service ever. The sighs of derision really cement their pure contempt for customers. Slow and lazy as well. Maybe under the for profit model, the USPS could make more money if they fired these rude people who are the face of USPS. Ill take my business to UPS and FedEx.
The man that works there most of the time is very unfriendly and no one is customer service oriented. He snips at you and makes you feel like an idiot before you can get any words out. I wish this was just one bad experience but its multiple. I will be going out of my way to not use this location from now on.
Quite often we get mail for someone else and it makes me wonder how many others get our mail...or we don’t get the package that states that it out for delivery that day, and I have also experienced the Poor, Cold Customer Service when I have had to go into the post office...No Greeting and No Thank You.
Very rude, nasty, lazy people.Black woman who is fairly new is the worst dropped off 9 eBay labeled packages today 11.30 at night and no tracking info. She is always that way and has a problem with white people I believe.Sad are tax dollars pay for this. Will be going to Milford or Symmes from now on.

2022-05-10I needed assistance at the USPS in Loveland, Ohio.I spoke with the Postmaster General, I did not get her name. She was the most friendly, helpful, professional and intelligent person and treated me with the utmost respect. She resolved my problem within minutes. Many times it would be more convenient for me to go to other post offices to drop off my mail or buy stamps. But I always drive to my Loveland Post office. Now I know why..Thank you Loveland Postmaster General..

2022-06-18I had written a not so nice review a few years back, that I just deleted.I believe now, like most business in a small town, all it took was to meet and get to know the workers. I can’t say enough about the service I receive everytime I go in to mail a package. The staff are always friendly and helpful and often go above to help with an issue. Josh has been fabulous ever since I got to know him. He is an excellent and knowledgeable also very nice and attentive employee , all of them are super capable and a pleasure to work with.

2022-03-28We moved to Loveland less than a year ago & this was the first time I’ve been to a post office… ever. I showed up on my lunch break around 12:30pm on a Monday and there were two employees, one was helping another woman and I was greeted when I came in by the other. All I needed to do was drop off a package that had a prepaid label already taped to it. He scanned it, gave me a receipt and I was on my way. He was helpful & I appreciated his kindness!

2022-05-16Opened letters! It’s graduation season, my daughter is a senior, and we have family from all over that could not attend her graduation, so cards have been sent. She received 3 cards in the last week that were opened enough to take out money and checks that were sent and then taped back up. USPS….. DO BETTER! This is ridiculous!

2022-07-18New staff is great and friendly compared to the years past where they had extremely rude and unhelpful people working. I really love seeing Josh there. They still have one older woman who has no idea what she is doing though, I try to avoid going when she is there.

2021-02-13Ordered a few items through Amazon and they were “out for delivery” all day. Waited and waited and waited. Checked the status at 5:30 and it said “attempted to deliver” however we have a ring camera and noted there was absolutely no attempt to deliver. My husband called at 5:36 and the nasty man that answered and said they PUT OUR ITEMS ON THE WRONG TRUCK and proceeded to be nasty with my husband and tell him “we updated the status at 5:07 and you should’ve called before we closed at 5:30” implying that it’s HIS fault. Um no. Maybe you should be sure to put the correct items on the correct trucks and not blatantly lied and say you “attempted delivery,” when you clearly didn’t. HOW would we 1. Have known that you did that in the first place 2. Managed to catch YOUR error and make it to the post office in 20 minutes to pick up our package. I’m sorry but I’m pretty sure that was your job. Someone needs to teach these delivery drivers to put the correct packages on the correct trucks, deliver the packages to the correct address (have had this issue MANY times) and teach that ignorant “clerk” at the front to watch his mouth and learn a little something about customer service.**EDIT**Not only have they still not delivered our packages but they actually had the nerve to change the delivery status from yesterday. It now says our driveway was inaccessible which is a blatant lie. I want MY mail...NOW.

2021-11-23Waited all day for package to be delivered, postman stopped, put mail in mailbox and went on. He stopped and backup, thought he was going to deliver my package, wrong, he started going forward again and went on. Then USPS tracking tells me @ 7:31 tried to deliver. NO one came to my house @ that time. Security camera shows me that! Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery Location LIAR LIAR

2021-06-24The worst in store USPS experience ever. If I wanted to know the USPS policies I would have read them. How hard is to apply some tape and creat a label. You are a government organization that is meant to help people and make it sound very difficult to provide some very simple services that your private competitors offer. Once again not sure what I pay taxes for and think this location should be shut down and stop wasting tax payer dollars as the location and people that work their are virtually useless. Also, 1 star is generous, that’s because they don’t allow zero or negative stars.

2021-06-185 different times they decide to not just drop my package off at the door of my apartment. There was also a key in the receptical meaning there was definitely room for a package. For no rhyme or reason they just decide to not leave it. An exact package was delivered and left inside my complex no problem several times. They are wildly inconsistent, and Im tired of thinking I have something to look forward to at home waiting for me just to have to be required to walk into their office to pick up the package. Ive put up with this inconsistency for years. Im finally leaving a review.I have never had this issue in any other city other than Loveland.

2021-06-28I had a very bad experience with the postal worker with long platinum hair and facial hair. I arrived at what I believed to be under the wire at 5:28. The doors were still open and when I entered there were two postal workers behind the desk. The one w long hair gruffly asked me what time I had, and I said 5:28. He says, Its 5:31, in a very domineering voice, then asks me what I want. I assume, under the circumstances I should be leaving, and Im getting two signals from him. I felt really uncomfortable, which was his intention. I told him I need my letter delivered as quickly as possible but Ill come back tomorrow. Then left for the lobby where I stopped at the stamp machine.I was surprised to find hed followed me into the lobby and as I was looking over the machine he asked what do I want to do, and not pleasantly, not in a neutral tone, but overbearingly.I hadnt asked for his help at all at any time when I was there.I wasnt pressuring him, I wasnt rude, but Im a woman, not unattractive and not young. Would he treat a man like this?I told him thank you but I didnt expect special treatment and he point blank said sarcastically, YES YOU DID BECAUSE YOU KNEW YOU CAME IN AT 5:31. Come with me Ill take care of it, in a very dominate and rude manner.Out of discomfort, I immediately left the building to return to my car for a few moments. Assuming hed be back to his work I reentered the lobby to use the machine and he was still there waiting and watching me!I told him firmly I didnt need his help and he finally left the lobby. I didnt want to be anywhere near this guy. I never spoke loudly or rudely. He had an issue, he should be professional, tell me, the customer the PO is closed; the door should be locked at 5:30.When I left he shouldnt have followed me into the lobby, he shouldnt be challenging me, insinuating Im lying about what I thought the time was, or speaking to me. Im positive if Id been a man hed have behaved differently. Its like he got off on the situation. I hope not to see him in the PO again and you take this review seriously. Go to Symmes.
