Why is it so impossible to reach customer service? I have been on the phone for 10 minutes trying every option just to speak to a human and I still can’t find the right option to connect me to customer service. I’ve been receiving for peoples mail at my new address and have written return to sender on every piece of mail and yet they leave it in my mailbox and just stuff my mail on top of it. I have never had such difficulties trying to reach customer service at any other company.
You wont leave my $20 package at my house but leave a TV box on the front porch all day. No notice on the door that you attempted delivery and nothing in the mail box, good thing the merchant sent me a notice that you didnt deliver and that my package was at the post office.Oh, you are only open when most people are at work? Guess I wont get my package till Saturday now. Why did I pay for two day shipping?
Was planning to have a package available from Amazon today, and it arrived at Holland Post Office in time. We waited at home all day...no one came to deliver. We checked the tracking today and it says that the carrier tried to deliver and now the package is stuck inside the post office and we cannot pick it up until today. I wish Amazon would use a better delivery service...this is unfortunately the norm here.Edit: so its the next day and they decided to deliver everything to my house again today and left it by the entrance to my covered porch. So if it had rained, they couldnt have brought it onto the covered porch...just 3 steps away. Other packages that were supposed to arrive today were put up on the porch, but not the items that were supposed to arrive that led me to leave this review.
Went to this PO to get postage for 120 booklets. Both ladies behind the counter, Michelle and Donna were pleasant and helpful. After purchasing the postage we began putting the postage on the booklets. At this time the PO was not very busy so Michelle came out to putting the postage on the booklets. I know the PO gets hammered a lot but on this day these two ladies were outstanding.
Would give it zero stars if I could. When I submit hold mail requests on the USPS website, my carrier rarely holds my mail. I called the post office to try to correct this, and customer service suggested I come in to fill out hold mail requests. First, that is not at all convenient, and second, why allow hold mail requests online if you wont fulfill them?!?! On another occasion, the carrier would not deliver a package that required a signature. Instead, she left a notice in my box that I had to come to the post office to pick it up. I was home when she delivered the mail, and she did not even make an attempt to come to the door to get a signature.
Worst post office ever. Ive been here twice and waited at least 20 minutes for the one cranky person behind the counter to work through the 10-person line with no sense of urgency whatsoever. Then theres the fact that Amazon has the unfortunate relationship with USPS, which means at least half my packages have to touch this facility. And every single time, without fail, they scan my packages as On the front porch or in the mailbox then deliver them the next day, if Im lucky. And Id go pick them up myself, if I could get a hold of anyone there, but instead they never answer their phone, even after 20 minutes of letting it ring. This place needs to be shut down or have a more competent office take over.
Packages read delivered at mailbox but then this post office says that just means it is out for delivery and to wait another day. Then I get that nice pink slip that I have to visit the post office because my driveway isnt clear but how they lie to Amazon is that it is delivered at mailbox. Call to find out about the package and the phone rings and rings. No one answers. On a normal day, our mail carrier cant figure out the difference between 2014 and 2007. This is the worst post office I have ever experienced.
Zero stars, they dont know where my package is. It was supposed to be delivered on Saturday but I got a text stating the receptacle was blocked and had to schedule to delivery method/time. I went online and stated I want to hold it for pickup. Came to the post office on Monday at 11:30am and the lady told me she doesnt know where it is. How do you lose a package? Isnt that the entire point of a tracking number? I even have a confirmation # for the hold request but still nothing.
Very poor upkeep (see pictures below) and unfriendly staff. Not a single please, thanks, or anything of the sort. Every display was very disorganized.
When you dont know anything they will help you.
I dont think they try too hard in checking if someone is home for a delivery. If the door bell doesnt ring, knock on the door. Maybe try that before having us defeat the purpose by travelling to the post office in times like these. Thanks.
Most of our mail is not our mail. Someone else’s with a clearly different address. Today I went out to get our mail, as there was a package that I knew was delivered. Noticed it wasn’t on my front porch so I went to the mailbox and there was a box that was shoved in our mailbox that was obviously too big and the package was destroyed. Also, because nothing else could fit in the mailbox, our other mail was thrown on the ground. They always fail to do their job, which is just plain laziness. Read the address, make sure it’s the right mail, if it’s too big, bring it up to the front door.
ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH! The worst postal office ever. Unbelievable how many lies this place gets caught in. The amount of lost packages and no answers is just mind blowing. I have friends that work for the postal service and I feel bad for them because it is such a third world ran company. Has zero respect for its customers and does not value a single soul. If it was possible I would petition to get the postal service out of my city. I would go as far as paying for a seperate box through an independent company and go to them to get the mail. I would rather send a Harry Potter owl after my packages and have more faith and comfort than I would in the USPS. I would actually pay for them to completely stop delivering to my house and I would pay 25 dollars a week for Amazon to deliver to my house by drone!
We drop off many packages daily and have never ran into an issue. The staff, especially Michelle, are always kind, especially dealing with the insane amount of packages that we bring in daily at the last minute. My business is very appreciative. Thank you.
I love this Post Office, It seems to function completly different than rest of the post office system in the country, They deliver , I mean they make an effort to make a quick delivery. I saw one morning while tracking an Important package, arrived at this post office at 7:29Am and was sorted and delivered at my home before 9:30. While the rest of the postal system kicked that package arround from Dayton to Cincnati to Michigan and then to this post office for 4 days. Staff is so friendly you might think they are here to serve you and only you.
Ordered a hoody from an ebay seller from Holland 2 weeks ago. It arrived to this facility 8 days ago. It was supposed to be here yesterday. It was not.I live an hour away. Im half tempted to drive and get it myself Monday. Whoever is in charge should probably pack it up and move on to another field. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but when 40 other people are having similar issues...
Hard working clerks. Go out of their way to make sure you get your mail. They are very essential workers! Delays are expected in this time of the covid-19. Be patient.
At least twice a week my mail gets to delivered to one of my neighbors. If my calm chocolate lab is ever outside she refuses delivery claiming a dangerous dog. Very incompetent location.
This branch is terrible at delivering. Ive had to go to the post office to pick up so many packages and mail due to the laziness of the delivery person not wanting to get out of their vehicle to take it up to my doorstep. Wish I could just have another branch do it.
Always slow as molasses inside the building to ship a package out , pick up a package they didnt leave at doorstep or buy stamps etc. Long lines and not even a radio playing in there. You can hear everyone breathing in that place. Probably why they are so slow, the workers probably fall asleep from boredom. The delivery service isnt the same either anymore since Randy retired. Gosh we miss him so much.
Multiple lost packages, experienced delays with mail that took nearly a month to be delivered (twice) and one of those envelopes was torn open with missing mail when it was delivered. If you have the choice, pick FedEx or UPS for your delivery service.
I had a delivery from amazon. The message on my phone said that the product was undeliverable due to mailbox too full. Considering that there were only 2 pieces of mail in my box, that is so not true. Also since when dont they take a package to the porch?? When my package did come, it was too large to put in the box anyways.
I went to the post office for a delivery the customer who ordered food asked me to go to the back dock door where he is I came across Jamie Isaac she was very rude Cocky told me I needed to turn my vehicle off and that I have no reason to be here and was cussing at her coworker for getting his lunch delivered I feel that she needs to be fired and Attitude check
Drive through mail box was over flowing full and I had t stuff in more. This was 2:30ish . I.regretted it almost immediately stopped in a parking lot and tried to call the office mng. I let it ring for a very long time. No answer. The last pick up was supposed to be 1:00. Tried calling next a.m.. Still no answer. This service is nothing to be proud of , should be ashamed.
Always slow in the office with very long lines. my mail is always delivered late if its delivered at all. This is post office is why USPS is dying and people are using FedEx or UPS instead.

Absolute worst service I’ve ever encountered. Lazy all the way around. I’ve had issues for years with my mail arriving to my address at all. I wish I could be this miserable at a job and still keep it somehow
New self serve kiosks never work - always frozen & tapping the screen doesnt work. I have been to two post offices today. On my way to the third.
They are the worst place ever! Im SO GLAD I moved my office out of Holland, but now Im only getting about 1/2 of my mail forwarded. Im missing checks and Income Tax notices....its BEYOND RIDICULOUS!
I live in Spencer Township, Ohio and whoever delivers the mail to us is LAZY. We get piles of mail that do not belong to us and seldom see the mail we are supposed to be getting.

Can never get a hold of anyone...why do they have a phone if no one is going to answer it...got a notification that my package was delivered, but have no package, so no idea what is going on ...waiting on a call back from the 800 number lets see how that goes.

I have been living in same house for 8 year and they still mess my mail up most of my mail get sent back for wrong address because they dont do there jobs i order 2 thing off eBay one got delivered and other one sent back to post office and i didnt get a call letter nothing and this not first time this has happen get it together Holland office
Front desk lady was very rude with zero knowledge of customer resolution.
Small and never crowded and worth the couple of miles I drive to get there. Can be home again before I reached the head of the line in the bigger post offices
Horrible, I called 15 times in one day and still got NO answer!!! Repeatdly I have gotten other peoples packages and they have gotten mine!!

2022-03-09Took a package into have an associate do the refusal for me since I was unfamiliar with the process. Said I would be good no need to use return shipping since it was never opened. Was re delivered to my porch two days later.

2022-02-02If I could make below 1 star, I would. Very rude altogether up to management. We dont work for yous, you guys actually work for customers and you cannot blame customers for an unsuccessful job choices. There is should be upper management audit for this place, and ASAP.

2021-11-24I run a business and I can safely say the postmaster here is the worse postmaster in the US. She literally hung up on me while trying to hash out issues I have been having. Her name is Jaime and she is one of the worse people I have ever dealt with at USPS. I miss my Toledo office, and I will be opening a PO Box there just because my trust in this lady is 0.

2022-03-31I’d rate the customer service zero if I could. Went the other day and the lady was unbelievably rude and unhelpful. We all left and went elsewhere it was that bad. They need to rehire people that actually know what customer service is instead of having a person just shouting marching orders at everyone.

2021-04-30Their drivers do not care at all about their customers. Ive had them leave high value packages sitting outside the building my business is in multiple times, despite the business being open. Take your business to UPS or FedEx. Id even rather use DHL than deal with this ever again.

2021-02-25The WORST usps in the entire Toledo area. My delivery driver refuses to accept my packages. I brought it to officemax which accepts USPS and they tell me that driver is rude and will do anything to get out of doing her job. Apparently she knows the ins and outs of the postal services rules and has enough tenure to not get any disciple. Wish this was a reality at my job or any other job. Would be nice to skirt under doing my job by saying it’s not my job all day.

2021-10-12I wish it was possible to give 0 stars I came to drop off several packages at 8 am I know the post office opens at 830. Both mail chutes were jammed and I could hear employees in the back. I knocked on the door and could hear employees stating they were not coming to see what I wanted another employee was repeating my sayin hello and laughing. Customer service here is horrible!!!

2020-06-04Worst post office in Toledo area. I would give zero stars if I could. Extremely lazy mail deliverer.Have waited by the window for my package, watched the truck go past, only to have it marked, delivery attempted, not home.Complete liar. Never came to my door.When I called the office, the manager claimed that it had been marked incorrectly and would be delivered the next day, then changed it to something else. This happened twice. Delivery person just doesnt want to get out to deliver package.Ive also had items that are way too big shoved into my mailbox, destroying other mail or compromising the package itself. I live in a condo and my mailbox is on the opposite side from my place. She drives right past me and it would take her about 20 seconds to bring it to my door. Simple laziness.When I attempted to file a complaint with the postmaster, they pretended not to understand my complaint, I played phone tag with the postmaster generals complsint office for three weeks, and finally gave up. Im sure this was their goal. I finally complained to the couple places I order from often. They must get a lot of complaints because the no longer use the USPS.
