Completely failed and worthless enterprise. Even the normal day to day delivery is apparently too much for them to achieve in a competent and timely manner. Ordered a package over a week ago, it gets to the local facility three days late, and they promptly ship it off to Cincinnati the day before it’s supposedly delivered! Tracking just says missent - guess you’re just out of luck. Try to call for info and big shock...they also can’t figure out how to operate a phone effectively. There are several private businesses that could do a much better job, it’s time for this archaic business to finally lay down and die....and I don’t want to hear about ‘challenges during COVID’...there are countless numbers of us that still have to do our jobs properly regardless of the current environment.Polish up your resume, USPS.
Lazy mailman works at this location i had 2 packages that i was supposed to be delivered to me this week, however I got a notification on my phone that a delivery attempt happened today but USPS couldnt complete it. I have camera system and I checked the footage on both occasions there was no mailman that even drove by my house. If you dont want to attempt a delivery dont lie and say that you attempted a delivery but couldnt complete. These lazy mailmen are the reason why USPS is going under and they will make you go out of business if you dont replace them.
I live in an apartment complex and they are always putting the wrong packages in our boxes. In 2 weeks they have lost 2 of my packages. Ive gotten other peoples mail, and because Im a decent human being, I bring it to the correct person. Unfortunately I havent been as lucky for the person who got my package to bring it to me. And of course it happens on a weekend after closing hours, so I wouldnt be able to get someone here to open the boxes until Monday. By then my package will be gone.
Just leaving this review for Joe at the front desk. Ive sent over a dozen packages through this place and every time I am there he is in a great mood and super helpful. He goes above and beyond to help customers out and is always pleasant to work with. Keep up the good work!
I have reported on numerous occasions that I am not receiving all of my mail & nothing is being done. I was told to get informed delivery & Ive done that. I havent received a call back, ever, when filing complaints! I have pieces being sent back as not deliverable, address doesnt exist.Someone has also taken it upon themselves to put our change of address in as whole house move which is not how it was indicated on my form. So now im getting tax documents & other important information sent to my home for people who havent lived with me in years! They filled out their change of address forms with me & turned them in with me, yet Im still getting their mail! And for the love stop stealing my coupons! I havent gotten any of those in about a year!
Was supposed to have a package delivered Friday according to the tracking number. It shows delivered on Friday at 5 pm. I called Saturday morning and was told my package was there and would be delivered today. Nope. Still dont have my package. I guess Ill actually have to go to the post office myself on Monday to find my package myself.
Every time I end up with the same grouch. The tall bald guy, who acts like youre wasting his time when he is in fact supposed to be doing his job. I feel like such a burden, paying to send a package out. Its like his life is so horrible that he feels the need to ruin your day also. Any time I have a question he acts like Im supposed to know, like Im the one working at the post office. Ive seen him give attitude and be disrespectful to others as well. Im not sure how long this man has worked here and how he is still working here. I shouldnt have to dread going to the post office because of this. I would hate to have to take my money else where because of one of your employees, though its looking like that will be the only problem solver.
Its never fun to wait in line at a post office, but the folks here are ALWAYS nice and helpful. The kiosks onsite also make it convenient to mail small packages and purchase stamps. I just called to schedule a passport appointment; the call was answered in a couple of rings, and the gentleman gave me complete information, including where to get my photo nearby. Great service - sorry others havent had the same experience.
What an absolute joke! Paid for priority shipping and they failed to deliver. First clerk had no idea what a tracking number is. Passed it off to Sheri whos ultimate response was, you should use UPS. Well guess what, thats exactly what Im going to do. I highly recommend you do the same! Its because of employees like these, that the USPS is failing and is nothing more than a burden to tax payers!
This post office is so great! I called to check on the delivery of package I am tracking. Bruce checked on my package and said that a sub was on my delivery route today, so it might get delivered later than normal. I told him that was okay as long as it made it today since it is a gift for tomorrow. He told me that if for some reason it ends up still at the post office tonight, that he will be in my neighborhood tonight and will deliver it himself! Talk about going above and beyond! Thanks Bruce!
Ive done lots of different transactions here ranging from simple mail to overseas packages and my passport. I have never had an issue. You should ignore the raters who have bad attitudes. The post office is underfunded, under staffed, and managed by Congress. That should tell you to cut your local counter clerks some slack.
Its agencies like this that give the Government a bad reputation! I mailed a package two day priority on 12/7 and paid extra for insurance! First of all, the receipt said expected delivery Friday, 12/11, so thats already more than 2 days. When I went to track the package online, it sat in the main Columbus office for 2 days! It left there on Thursday, 12/10. So, why am I paying for expedited delivery? I tried to call USPS, but according to the automated system, customer service is unavailable. I tried calling the Hilliard post office but they dont answer their phones! Im done with the post office for packages. FedEx or UPS from now on!
All of the workers have been helpful and courteous, but wat check out for one in particular. The taller bald man (I think his name is Steve) tried to pull a fast one on me the other day. A package I sent was .1 oz shy of the next price up. He placed a pen, a piece of paper, the label, and his finger on the scale to try and bump it up. I decided not to say anything unless it actually tipped the scale. To his dismay, it did not, and he swiftly completed the shipment after that, but not without throwing judgmental looks at me while doing it.
I went here earlier today and I believe I had a man named Joe help me. He was very knowledgeable, quick, and polite. I have no idea if the negative reviews here are petty or not, but even if they all are justifiable, I have very certain it wasnt because of who helped me today. I will definitely be back. :)
Yesterday (1/8/18) my carrier used force to stuff a relatively large box into my mailbox and I had to use a plier to yank it out! Not only that, there were someone elses mails in there as well, and this has happened to me number of times and also to my neighbors. Not sure what kind of people they are hiring now days or types of training they are (not) getting...I have no confidence.
While waiting for a registered letter one of the employees stated they had it in there hand and was going to forward to us in Florida. A week later spoke to another employee and they said we do not have it. Few days later it shows up in Florida. Took one month to make it to our post office. They tell you they will call you back and never do. And they take the phone off the hook if you try to get to them. One month for a letter to make it from Ohio to Florida. Terrible customer service!
Poor customer service. ATTENTION to tall bald guy! Needed something mailed which i never do since everything is online so i have no idea what all the little different shipping methods and procedures are. gave him the letter and before i got the chance to say i needed it expressed shipped he had already just thrown a stamp on it and was about to send me on my way without asking how soon i needed it. skip the big tall bald guy because when i said by the way i need it there tomorrow he looked like it was his first day on the job with how he freaked out and started sweating over this little issue. this is why we dont use usps at work. the window next to me the poor lady just didnt understand what papers or labels she needed for her box and the guy working treated her like a child with the tone of his questions. terrible.
Not sure if it is me, or that they had a bad day, but of the three clerks on staff, Joe was the only one who was helpful. The bald guy gave me an unsettling look and the blond lady quickly put up her next window sign when I was up next for help. I would keep Joe and put the other two in the back.
Paid for 2 day priority mail on 2/1. Mailman picked up at our home on 2/2, today is 2/9 and it still has not reached my son at WVU! Post office phone number is busy all day long!! Finally got a hold of Melody at the post office and got poor, very poor customer service!!
The best service I was mailing something today and there was a very wonderful lady her name is Cryan she has a lovely smiley face was so patient with me I know it tooks ti me to finish international shipping but she keep for taking time she gave me many options and was so helpful I really appreciate her and would llike to thank all of these locations teamThank you

2021-12-14This post office has the best service that I have ever seen. I went in to send 2 international packages and Jonathan was extremely helpful. He made sure all my ducks were in a row. Not only that but one guy needed a change of address for someone on his phone, I saw another postal worker talk to the person on the phone to solve the issue then on top of that another postal worker helped a lady with finding a larger box for free. This is hands down the best place to handle all your mail needs. I don’t know if it’s possible but everyone working today at least deserves a raise.

2022-03-12The entire staff is helpful and ive never had a single issue in plenty of trips here . Shoutout to Jonathon who is usually stuck helping me and is very friendly and polite. My only complaint with this usps is that when it get mildly busy the line can block the doors of the main entrance and some customers have no awareness that theyre in the way of other people trying to enter post office.

2022-06-07I manage a Condominium Association where this post office is responsible for the maintenance of the community mailboxes. One of the mailboxes has been broken for over a week now and the staff (Jennifer to be exact) at this location has been absolutely no help in getting it repaired. She has been extremely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful.

2021-11-04I mailed out a package a couple months ago and wrote down the wrong tracking number and threw out the receipt. Caryn, whom is always courteous and efficient, was nothing but helpful trying to locate it. Eventually Sheri took the reins and not only found my mistake but also the old receipt! Together they saved me over $100.00. Joe who works there is also always pleasant. As a whole, this post office is an ideal stop.

2022-03-16Today, March 16, 2022, there were 6 people standing in line in front of me at 2:07 PM. Luckily, Jennifer opened the side door to help customers that just needed receipts for packages that already had postage on.Jennifer has helped customers that just needed receipts to lighten the burden of the sales associates that worked at the counter.I was going to use a self-service kiosk, but one person was using the kiosk and it took him forever because he was not familiar with the self-service kiosk.Jennifer is simply amazing and she is extremely courteous and helpful, too.Thank goodness the tall bald guy was no longer working at this post office. Sales asscoates named: Joe and Mondel are very courteous and professional, too. They know their products very well.My only complain is I keep on getting someone else’s mail because there is this house that has the same house number ad mine even though this house is on a different street. This has been going on since 1997!Is it that difficult for the delivery person to read the house number “and” the street name before he/she puts the mails inside the mailboxes? Really?

2020-01-07I visit this post office 3-5 times every week. They are very helpful and work as fast as they can. In my many many visits Ive never seen them short or rude with a customer - even though there have been customers that are deserving of it. Only time I dread going in is during the days leading up to Christmas when the hoards of unprepared shippers are clogging up the system. Even then the staff at this location are helpful and try to make certain that everyone gets their needs met.

2021-06-10I have never ever received such appalling service from anyone. My mail is constantly being delivered to the wrong address. I have complained multiple times but nothing is ever done about it. Can neve get through on the phone, wont return a call or follow up on theft related issues.

2020-12-21Absolutely terrible display of professionalism. If you aren’t completely prepared, you are treated poorly. I have also had many packages not delivered to my house, once in their possession, they will update tracking status to delivered and it’s simply just not. Disappointed, it’s Christmas, I’ve lost many gifts. 2 just today we’re never delivered. I went outside 5 minutes after the status was updated.

2020-07-06The self service kiosk did not work on Saturday 4 July so I purchased postage online with drop off on Sunday. Unfortunately the package drop off is locked. What do you do? There is no other way to “drop off” packages by 11:59pm on the day you buy postage. This location has a lot of problems besides this issue, for example, the contractors working mail delivery are inadequate and deliver my mail to my neighbors. Major reform of this USPS location is needed.
