This location sucks, Point Blank. They lost a package that had tracking and insurance on it. The worst part, I sent my package to pick up because they dont deliver when Im home and I had to sign for it. They found the package on the truck even though it was marked for pickup. Waited over 30 minutes, left and had to turn around a few minutes later because they found it. While I was in there a lot of other people left angry. They were all trying to pick up their mailbox keys, but this location ran out of the locks and could not get keys. They were unable to give estimated time of arrival, and since theyre only open from 10 to 3 or two, almost no one can get off of work to get there everyday to check the if theyre in. There Lobby is Tiny and unappealing. Im willing to drive to other locations
Lost my package and unprofessional staff members, they don’t even know how to do their jobs. Also had another package coming in today but after waiting all day they drop off mails but for package “ Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery LocationGROVE CITY,OH ” there was no attempt to deliver.
They tried to deliver product that needed a signature. They left a slip on the door to authorize delivery without signature. We signed to have delivered and it was never re- delivered. After this, we called and scheduled for a day we would be home. Product never came so we looked on line. Instead of dropping off on the SPECIFIC date requested they tried 2 days before and marked it as client refused and our product was sent back. This product is coming from overseas and we will now not get this for months! Looking at all the horrible reviews for this place u would think they would get it together! No wonder the US Postal Service is going under!
I had a very expensive package being delivered and was home all day and waiting/watching for it to be dropped off. My lazy mail person decided to say I wasnt home without attempting to deliver the package. I was on hold for 50 mins waiting to even speak to a customer service representative. i always have issues with this service their rudness and laziness. Their hours changed so if I would of known he wasnt going to attempt I would of went to pick it up. The following day after signing for the package he didnt bring the package with him so three extra days I had to wait for a redeliver even after signing the paper and the same day it should of been delivered I went online requested a redeliver for the next day. Why bother having that if you wont have the package with you at all times.
My family has a pet reptile. The office has told me that their policy is to not deliver live insects to our home - that they are held for pick up. But they consistently deliver them, leaving them in the heat or cold. The shipments each cost me $25. Not only will I NEVER ship packages through USPS while we are here, I’ll have to stop doing business with companies that do.
Our mail and that of the neighbors is constantly being mishandled. On more than one occasion, we received more meant for others than our own (5 pieces !). On another, their tracking system reflected that a pkg was delivered when it wasnt.... Until it appeared several weeks later !?And opening a Case Number with some national phone bank is pointless. The cases are closedwith no notice to the Caller / me , no explanation for the problem, no outline for improvement and certainly NO APOLOGY ! And calling the local number, it rings on - unanswered. You dont even get voice mail.I hate the way the current Federal Government is screwing with USPS funding. But I find it increasing difficult to defend them if these problems are pervasive.
Order a package last Friday, it was supposed to be delivered today. They didn’t load it on there carriers vehicle because “there was too many packages” and the work said he didn’t want to look for it. Now im waiting on a package that I ordered so I’d specifically have today. I will file a complaint with BBB and USPS corporate for the unprofessional attitude I was given on the phone by this worker. Perhaps a lazy worker(s) is the reason this location has a low review rating and reputation.
This is the absolute worst post office I have ever been visited. The customer service is horrible and their true lobby hours are 10 to 3pm, not 10 to 5pm. Our tax money is being spent for this office to be open to pick up packages during the time of day that most Americans are at work...does this make sense at all? Who is the idiot post master general at this location? You should have some common sense. You serve us....and have unrealistic hours is outrageous.
Carrier missed Amazon guaranteed delivery time and put into the tracking that the delivery address was inaccessible and that the package was available for pickup at the post office. They never even tried to deliver it. I went to the post office to pick it up... it wasnt there, it was still on the truck.
My guaranteed delivery was not delivered or slip even left because I guess someone parked to close to my mail box...heaven forbid they have to get out...too lazy to even leave a slip..had to find out through email...I really wish amazon would’ve never started using snail mail! Then when you go to the post office to get help they look at you like you’re stupid or something....ugh!! Always choose any option other than Usps
Horrible customer service. I got a notice that my daughter’s medicine couldn’t be delivered, and that I needed to pick it up at the branch. When I went in, the employee would not even search for it, and would only tell me to give the carrier another day or two to make delivery.
Over the past several months, mail has been delivered to wrong address and we have received mail from other residents. Today a package was delivered to the neighbor across the street. When I called the post office, the individual stated we have a new mail person. I explained, if the mail person can not read an address, then they shouldnt be delivering mail. Very fustrating.
Constantly posting updates that they couldn’t deliver the package due to no access to the drive and not delivering our packages. I got two packages today that they delivered and like 3 other ones, they marked ‘no access to drive’. They’re just too lazy to bring all the packages with them.
I was in need to speak to someone at the local site and when i called their number, it just kept ringing like the line was busy. A package was attempted to be delivered but I was home all day. No such attempt was made. Attempted several times over a span of an hour. This is ridiculous. How can these standards be accepted?
Google, LOBBY HOURS M-F ARE 10AM TO 3PM! And yes, I suggested an edit. And cant post photo for proof of edit. The folks at this location are awesome, but I totally agree with other reviewers, these hours are terrible for us 9 to 5-ers that dont work (but do live) close. Why not move package pickup to Stringtown location a mile away, where there *are* more friendly hours?
Letter carriers lie, say they try to deliver packages when they never even came to house, said they left notice and where to get package...again was lie never came to house. I am home all day and watched this guy go to Mailbox and keep walking. I hate grove City mail carriers, they do not care about houses on Robin Street!
THESE ARE THE MOST INCOMPETENT PEOPLE IVE EVER DEALTWITH IVE HAD MANY PACKAGES DELIVERED TO MY ADDRESS BY UPS AND FEDEX NEVER A PROBLEM BUT WHEN USPS DELIVERS THERES ALWAYS A PROBLEM NO WONDER PEOPLE PREFER FEDEX AND UPS OVER THESE IGNORANT USPS CARRIERS IN GROVE CITY

2022-01-25I delivered my package to the Reynoldsburg post office. Why did Reynoldsburg post office send my package to the Grove City USPS on Dartmoor Road. The establishment is temporarily CLOSED and there is no update of when they would be open. My package is just sitting indefinitely since January 18. I know the post office have been operating on low staffing level but why not deliver my package back to post office that it originally came from. The postal service need to do better.

2022-04-19I live in an apartment so we have our mailboxes all together and they have to be unlocked with a key. I constantly get other people’s mail. I also have packages that tracking shows delivered to a parcel locker. The mailman either doesn’t leave the key at all or he leaves the wrong one. Worst service ever!!!!

2021-11-06The middle-aged girl with short, brown hair that works here is quite possibly the rudest, meanest person I have ever encountered in my life. And she is rude literally every single time I stop by. There are not even *rare* occasions she decides to be a decent human. I am so stunned by how rude she is that I will now be going to the Post Office that is further away every time instead. This is my *first time* ever leaving a Google review so please understand that I had to be very, very moved to feel the urge to write a review like this. Wow. Still stunned at how someone could be like this to other people all the time and still have a job.

2021-05-19I wish I could give them 0 stars. This facility has lost a certified letter sent by the IRS to my Mother. They lost a package of my daughters for a week before it was finally delivered. And I have to contact them to track it down. Missing mail send May 3rd and an international envelope mailed airmail priority. Visiting the manager tomorrow about the last two issues. Terrible delivery issues and we are stuck with them.

2021-06-15Say they deliver something but does not get deliver. The mail drivers are very rude will throw your stuff. I have a ring doorbell so it catches all of that. They even broke my mail box shoving a big package instead of just leaving it on the front steps. Now I have to take the time and money to go buy a new mail box. Thanks!

2021-02-09No delivery for unclear drive when driveway was clear and flat. No notification until the day after supposed attempted delivery. Now I can’t get through on the phone to schedule a pick up or redelivery. Phone rang fine before they opened at 10. Now it’s constantly busy. Lazy staff not willing to do there jobs! It’s ridiculous.

2018-12-30*Edit Zero Stars*A Christmas present from my brother was supposed to be delivered 12/21/18. I arrive home to a ‘we will REDELIVER to you’ notice. None of the boxes checked as to why they couldn’t deliver my package either.I fill out the reverse side and tape it back inside the mailbox so it drapes over the opening. Saturday comes, mail in box but notice still there. No package. Monday I go to their office, closed at noon due to Christmas Eve. Nothing posted anywhere about adjusted hours. No one answers the phone at this location to inquire about the package and the QR code on the notice isn’t tied to a package. since I work past 3 throughout the week I can’t make it into the office during regular hours. The next day available to me was 12/29/18. The office opens 10 minutes late at 9:10am. Their excuse was under staffed...how many people does it take to unlock a door??? They take my note and attempt locate my package. After 20 minutes, I assume the person is the manager of the facility says he can not locate the package and asks for my phone number to call me back. Mid way through Saturday I receive a text from my brother saying the package was returned to sender. Complete incompetence at this location- needs new management! The manager never contacted me either. He also implied the package was attempted to be redelivered... I have security cameras, no usps person entered my property.

2020-04-09EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED. (0 stars if I could) A package was supposed to be delivered 6 days ago. There was no note left saying to pick it up, nothing. I spend 30 min on hold, getting no where with the automated robot. I finally get to a place where an actual person can call me back when I’m next in line. And hour and a half later, Cynthia is kind enough to open a case investigation! Apparently, delivery was denied, stating, “no access”. Which... there was. And a note was not left to explain that. Redelivery was not even attempted. Very disappointed by this service. The only good thing about it was how helpful Cynthia was.

2020-07-29I never in my life thought I would be leaving a review about a post office location but here we are folks. This is the worst location. They do not deliver my packages and leave pre-written slips in my mailbox saying they cannot deliver them because of some sort of access issues so every time I get a package I have to go to this location to pick it up. I live in a neighborhood, in a house, and my front door is maybe 15-20 feet from the mailbox. I have talked to multiple people at this location and have been told someone would contact me and no one has. Horrible.

2018-03-10Really wish I could give a zero! They have lost multiple packages of mine and when I have called to find out where they are they give me the run around and in the end Im out quite a bit of money for their negligence. I dont typically leave bad reviews but today one of my neighbors brought us mail that was left in her mailbox, in this mail was my daughters birth certificate and new insurance cards. This is beyond ridiculous! Theres no reason they are so careless when delivering mail, after all it is their job!
