United States Postal Service in other cities:
At least 3 days no delivery or pickup! This also isnt the first time weve had this issue! We are a business that relies on timely pickups and deliveries. I have watched the postal system fall apart for the last decade, covid or no covid! Called the customer service line and option 1 for missed delivery gives the exact same response as option 2 greater than 3 days, blames COVID and tells me a actual customer service person cant help me either. You need help, privatize some help from outside the government... Its clear to anybody who runs a business of any size yours is failing miserably and you need help before you drag down the rest of us with you.
I would give it a zero. The worst post office I have ever been to. Most of them also have a bad attitude. No Customer Service Skills at all. Dont bother phoning unless you want to be on hold and then no one is going to answer anyway. I go to Kettering where they are very professional, polite and friendly.I feel the people who have given this post office 5 stars are not general users of THIS post office. Ive lived here for 15 years and its always been the same ALWAYS. With COVID going around, no-one wants to wait in a line of 10-15 people for an enormous amount of time, while they work at a snails pace. So disrespectful of peoples time.
USPS guy stole my Amazon Basics package (small, and has amazon written all over it). Called in Thursday to see if they could bring it back, they say theyll call me tomorrow when they find it. Submit email late Friday, since I received no response. Sent email Saturday, again no response. Sent last email Tuesday and Wednesday, and I am finally told that:I may drive to the post office to pick up my Amazon package they stole from me only if I pay 5$.This didnt even need to be a problem.. Deliver my package back to me, or at least let me pick it up without charging me because your people are incompetent at apparently every level.
I received a notice of an important letter having not been delivered..., that I could pick it up at the post office ( no time or date was mentioned on the USPS form). I drove to the post office, where a Black mate with a poor affect explained to me with all great disinterest that my letter wasnt there. I requested redelivery and the letter did not arrive the next day. 2 days in I called the post office. EVERYONE was to busy to answer the phone ..., my wait time was to be between 44 minutes and 106 minutes. I hung up and filed this comment. The USPS sucks.
Like most people have already wrote, this is probably the worst post office for mail delivery/pickup. On multiple occasions in the 10 months of living in the area we have had our scheduled packages not picked up. There is no communication between carriers and the people actually working in the post office. Ive had multiple times of scheduling a package online and them not picking up for 2-3 days after the scheduled pickup date, it go so bad that our carrier left a note in our post office to leave a note in the mail box if I had something that needed picked up, then we have other carriers that substitute when she is out that say schedule online but if I do schedule online, they dont pick up either, complete BS if you want to do any type of online sales. No wonder amazon delivers most of their packages themselves now because usps is a joke. I literally have to babysit to see if they actually did their job if I want anything picked up.
Avoid. I happened to be in this area, and had important packages to ship. Arrived at office at 8:30 am, not open. Went inside, stood there with 4 other people for about 35 minutes. One of the customers went to their back door and banged on it no less than 4 x in 10 minute intervals to no avail. Finally an employee came out and said someone called off and they could not open for a while. She offered to take our packages but that was it. Found out one of my packages had insufficient postage and is now potentially lost as it is not showing tracking information. Very frustrating.
For anyone trying to get a hold of them on the phone: I asked the desk clerk who told me they dont really care about the phone because there is no accountability. I then had a supervisor tell me that they often just dont answer the phone because they arent around or are too busy. Why do you have a phone if no one is going to answer it? Youd think that if it rings for 5 minutes straight someone might get sick of it ringing and answer it. (I actually tried this).I avoid this post office at all costs. Thank God stuff can be done from home now. You can hardly go in and not have to wait in line behind 10 people and the workers seem to have no regard for just getting up and going on break with 10+ people in line. They move with no sense of urgency and certainly arent the friendliest bunch. You certainly can never get through to them on the phone. It either rings or is busy. I wish there was a negative star rating. Also, semi related, I routinely get other peoples mail in my mailbox. Ive had 4 in the last week. Makes me wonder how much of my mail isnt getting to me.Update a year later: I just called and let the phone ring for literally 3 minutes and no answer. Again, WORST POST OFFICE EVER.Next update: I have a package out for delivery today. I go to meet the mailman at my mailbox. He drives off without leaving my package. I chase him down and ask if he has a package for me and his response is Sir, I dont know. Youre just going to have to wait until tomorrow. and just drives off. I chase him down and and ask him again to which he says, I dont know what boxes I have with me and drives off. At the 3rd set of mailboxes I ask him to at least check the 4 boxes I can see to which he tell me he doesnt have anything for my street. Um, didnt you just tell me you dont know what you have with you? I try and call the post office and surprise - the line is continuously busy. Why is there not a negative rating option for this post office?
Unbelievable! I had an ebay order sent to me. I get updates for the progress of delivery from usps. The package was supposed to be delivered to my home by 8pm. Next thing I know is the progress states they attempted to deliver but customer stated the item is to be held at the post office and they posted a notice. Well, that is all a bold-faced LIE! They never attempted to deliver and if they did, they wouldve left the package just like the rest of my mail was delivered that same day along with a package from amazon. And in no way did I ask for the package to be held at the post office. Why would I do that when I asked for the package to be sent to my home. It all makes absolutely no sense. This is their incompetence. The letter carrier clearly f&%&(@ up and is trying to blame the customer! Unethical. They cant be trusted. Pathetic.
Their customer service skills are pathetic. Verbally make it know that they dont want to help you. They had a package for me available to pickup Friday evening. I went Saturday morning to pick it up. Keep in mind it needed a signature, this was not a cheap package. Wait in line for over a half hr (this happens every time I go). Got up to the counter to pick up my package and the lady goes to the back to get it, doesnt come back for another half hour..passes the job off to a supervisor and the supervisor took another 20 minutes in the back before she finally came back empty handed. Tried to get me to sign the form anyways and they will redeliver the package when its found. Sounded like a scam so they could steel my package. If they didnt already steel it. The supervisor took down my number and sent me on my way. I went back before they closed. Waited another half hour and again they still cant find my package..this time she conveniently gave me their phone number as if I couldnt just google it...they dont answer that phone... Now they are closed tomorrow and I work overtime every weekday so I cant pick up my package for another week...very disappointed. How do you tell someone they can pick up their package and then lose it before they get there, and then be rude to your customer. You should be sincere and apologetic to the customer because you as a company lost or stole their merchandise.
Ive never had a magical experience at a post office. There are one or two staff members that I look forward to seeing when I come here because they are very pleasant when they take care of my packages. The other employees seem very unhappy/stressed and it reflects in the way they speak to people. I gave 4 stars as I am usually in and out within 20 minutes but the experience varies.
Spent the entire day off deciding to forgo any plans while waiting for a package set to be delivered today. Going out to pick up groceries tonight I find a slip for attempted delivery in my mailbox after the delivery driver made no actual attempt to see if anyone was home to receive the package. At least make an effort to properly do your job before claiming you did so falsely! It is no small wonder to see why this location is so poorly rated given multiple similar incidents and poor service.
I have nothing but problems since my mail delivery was transferred to this office. I get other peoples mail. I dont receive my mail. They cant find packages that I have paid for 2 delivery 5 days later. They delivered a bundle of mail a week into a two day hold, with the hold firm and dates wrapped around it with a rubber band. When I went in to complain the managers response was We dont have to hold your mail. They then gave me a bundle of mail that was held for me and I had 7 other peoples mail, no of which was even my street and a couple pieces that werent even my zip code. Bunch of idiots with terrible customer service that care nothing about doing their job.
Went to pay my post office box payment... there were about 20 people ahead of me. The line was basically through the door. There was only 1 person working at the counter. Its December 9th. You should have more than 1 person working. The self serve kiosk was out of order. And I had been unable to pay online for some reason. And also for some reason I was not able to just make a payment over the phone. Absolutely absurd. If you can use another post office I would definitely recommend doing so.
ZERO STARS - CLOSE THIS LOCATION! This office is understaffed for a business. They cant seem to understand that peak hours should have more workers. They never answer the phone and you get a busy signal or it just keeps ringing. This is either due to mismanagement or incompetence. It is no wonder they should be closed and let the civilian sector take over. It burns me every time I have to use them to have anything shipped to me. This location is horrible! They said my package couldnt be delivered undeliverable as addressed but when I called the address was correct. They sent the package back and I was told they couldnt do anything about it. I had to talk to company I ordered from. COME ON!
First of all, with calling several times a day it took 5 days before someone came to the phone then I was placed on hold for 20 minutes before being hung up on. Another 6 days to get through again and I was simply calling to check on some hold mail and the person who claimed to be a manager told me they werent able to do that. I explained that I had just done it 3 weeks prior with no issues then she became very rude and told me she cannot help me at all I would have to contact the person who sent the mail. I obviously already tried that or else I wouldnt have wasted my time for 2 weeks trying to get a hold of someone here. I have never been spoken to so rudely by a government employee.
Let me start by saying that the afternoon-shift workers are normally bearable, but I had the absolute worst experience with their evening-shift workers. The only attendant available was a total ass to me and my family. First off, they would not let us use the tape supplied for their priority mail shipping, even though our package was priority mail. Secondly, my package was 1 oz too heavy, and in the past, I was able to purchase the difference up to the next shipping weight. This time, they would not let me. I ship packages via eBay on a weekly basis, and I will now be taking my business to the Alpha post office. They take a little longer, but at least I feel like an actual customer as opposed to an impedance on their already droll day.
Every time I have to go to a USPS I wonder why we havent privatized or just closed them all. All I needed was to return something to Amazon. The original packaging was gone. I went to this post office and picked out a package from the stand and took the return label to the desk. Was told I couldnt use that package with the label I had. I went and got a different one. The guy rudely told me that I had to tape the label to the package.Well, no fricken duh. I said, yes, can I use some tape please. He told me no, if he gave me any tape to use he would have to charge me extra for priority shipping. I just walked out. Meanwhile, at FedEx, they have free tape just sitting out for anyone to use and the nice people at the desk will actually tape the label on for you if you dont already have it done, no charge, no hassle, no angry USPS employee whos upset youre bothering him during his 8 hour coffee break.
I have actually been having the hardest time with my mail courier. My mother was in ICU back and forth for a year & they kept saying we didnt live there, house was vacant, etc. If we dont live there, I will put in a move of address form! Then with the tornados again, the mail person kept messing with the delivery of my mail. Weve been getting mail everyday and now I get a notice from one of my memberships that I no longer live there!!! Unbelievable! This is NOT UP TO THEM to decide and get in the way of delivering your mail! Im beyond infuriated with these people! I also have businesses and this mail person took it upon themselves to let others in my neighborhood know about them, my neighbor told me the mail person talked about one of my businesses with her Dad! I was under the impression our mail was private but apparently not!
The service at this post office is absolutely horrendous. Nobody ever picks up the phone. When they finally pick up, which is rare, somebody usually just lays the phone down and walks away when placing you on hold. I have been calling all morning to get through about our business not receiving any mail for FOUR DAYS. Yes, four days. Somebody FINALLY answered the phone and when he placed me on hold, he came back, said hello and when I responded he just hung up. I have now been calling for the past 10 mins to get back through. Not a single employee there knows their left hand from their right. I have never seen such terrible customer service in my life. If I could rate them 0 stars, I would in a heartbeat. The only reason I gave them 1 is simply because I had to to post this review.
Only mildly helpful. Wasnt sure how to ship a glass bottle of olive oil. Asked for help and was told theres some stuff over there you can try. Chose a box that only half seemed to work and was very expensive. After my frustration was showing and putting my husband on speaker phone to try to help me did they decide to provide help in obtaining a decent useful box. When I tried to pay, they wouldnt let me use my credit card because it didnt have a signature, even if it said Check ID. I offered my ID instead. But was told I either had to sign my card there or pay with debit or cash. I should have unwrapped my item and walked out. Whats the point of signing the card in front of the person when I could have some random persons card? Mickey Mouse would have been a good signature. Wish I had thought of that earlier.
Ive been coming to this office for two years and while there is often a wait, have never had a discourteous experience. Today there was a line out the door with a single staff member whom Id never worked with before. Ive sent many packages overseas from this location and have never been told the things she said today -- she said she wouldnt help me because I didnt have the custom form filled out (I had to get it from her and had always received it directly from the staff with instructions), and she would not tape the box for me. Period. That was that. I was turned away after standing in line for 20 min. I really needed to mail this *today*. I will go out of my way to not use this location ever again. This person did not have even the most basic customer service skills.
Every other week Im either getting others mail or others are bringing my mail from the other side of the block. Had an incident where I got a notification that my package was delivered at mailbox and it clearly was not. Within 5 mins I cruised the neighborhood and found the carrier to which she had an excuse that said. Well i delivered it. I said no you clearly did not! She came back to the house 5 mins later with my package that was still on the truck! How do you make something as delivered and its still on the truck! This P.O service is absolutely horrible and lately the carriers they have hired seem to be fresh off the street and dont care! Fed up with this carp and am about to show up in person at it!
I had a package that was supposed to be delivered yesterday and received a notification at 7:02pm via text that it was attempted and a notice was left. I was sitting on my porch at the time, so no, you didnt attempt anything. Of course, it was after they closed, so after waiting on hold with the USPS call center for literally 46 minutes, I scheduled to go pick it up today. A few weeks ago I had a friendly neighbor bring over a package that was supposed to come to me, but instead went to her. She has the same address numbers, but a completely different street. WHAT IS GOING ON OVER THERE? I never had this problem in Kettering or Englewood.
VERY difficult to get someone on the phone. The line is either always busy or it rings without an answer. When I finally was able to reach someone to tell them about a package I never received, she took my name & tracking number & told me to call back the next day. She explained there are only two phone lines & they are understaffed. Unfortunately, Ive been calling for 3 days straight and still cant speak reach anyone. I will have to physically drive to the office. Hopefully, they can help me.***UPDATE:*** I physically went to the post office today and had a horrible wait. There was a female employee who waited on (chatted with) ONE person while the other 2 men together waited on the 10 people ahead of me. When it was my turn a guy named Tim tried to be as helpful as he could & I felt like he went the extra mile to serve me. Kudos to Tim. When I left the counter the female employee was on her 2nd customer since I had been there who was telling her all about the photos contained in the packages she was sending to her family members. The employee stood apt at attention listening to all the details of the story. There were 5 people waiting in line.
Only one package delivered when two were out for delivery. I EVEN DROVE HER DOWN AND STOPPED HER AFTER SHE DIDNT DROP IT OFF. Then I got an e-mail notice saying I wasnt at the door and a notice was left. There was no notice, and I drove after her and asked her to look in the back of the truck. She did a quick glance and said she didnt have it. Post office is closed on Sundays so I wont be able to get my package till Monday.
Sent a package to OH from AZ via USPS 2 day Priority (includes delivery confirmation). It was Out for Delivery one day, then suddenly Delayed for 13 days with no updates. IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone on the phone and I tried multiple times per day. Finally spoke with someone who said they would have the carrier follow up, 5 days and still no follow up. And theres no options for me to recontact them since they dont answer their phones. They know I cant come in person, so they dont care about lost packages.
Doesnt answer the phone At all.... Ive been waiting for an exspensive package I paid for the fastest delivery when I track it says out for delivery for three days now... but delivery unknown and your supposed to sign for it. The lady who does my neighborhood drives right by my box even if the post is up for outgoing mail. Ive watched her drive by two days in a row, is my package in her vehicle and she just doesnt give a crap?? I wouldnt know since the phone doesnt get answered.
Pretty confident they stole my package. I bought an expensive camera from my friend and he shipped it to me and it had a delivery confirmation date and time. The package never made it to my door. Every package I get from UPS or FedEx actually is on my door when the status says delivered. They did give me a number to call if I expect foul play and I will be calling it.
Went in because they claimed my address was invalid (It wasnt). Requested my item be redelivered with my suddenly now valid address and they said it would be delivered as expected. Next day I get another notification stating my address is invalid again, despite me having mail delivered and having my address checked by the lady working the counter. This time I ask for my package to be held so I can pick it up, that way I ACTUALLY get the damn thing, thirty minutes later my tracking informs me it is in a totally different state and being returned to sender, I despise USPS, and if there had been an option for any other delivery service, I would have chosen it.
Piss poor customer service. Our mail was sent back to this Post Office and the Manager made a personal decision to send the mail back to original senders a day early, when we had 10 days to retrieve. 10 days is the policy, why the hell is a manager making a decision to send mail back any sooner???? No wonder the USPS is going under! We plan to pursue all actions to ensure of accountability for damages. PISS POOR!
I have been frustrated with the post office since we moved to Beavercreek. I just had the final straw. Our mail person refuses to get out of his truck and tries to shove books and packages in our mailbox across the street. My daughter gets a book every month, he folds them in half to make them fit the mailbox, hard back books!! I recieved 3 package the other day and they were all shoved in the box and one sitting on top of the open lid of the mail box. It just happened to be medication in a box that said pharmacy. The box was half open and the medication was tampered with. I am disabled with a toddler, I cant go to the location to speak to someone. They do not answer the phone. I am beyond piss.
Wish I could give them a lower rating.Twice this year Ive requested HOLD MAIL and received a confirmation number. Each time, mail was delivered to my front porch. Today is one day after end date; no mail except for one package partially stuffed in mailbox.Post office was to deliver my HOLD MAIL yesterday. Today Im going to Beavercreek post office to recover my mail. Postal service has long been irresponsible with no accountability, no competition.Ill be happy as a coon in a cornfield when postal service (LOL) is put out of business by a responsible delivery service. I believe thats in the works.
I have lived all over this country both inner city and rural but have lived in Beaver Creek for the last 5 years and have defenitly found Beaver Creek post office to be the absolute WORST! Those of you that have contacted them about a problem already know they give you a conformation number for a reference when you call. Well I have found 7 of them they have given me. I am the only person that lives in my apartment and I still receive mail that doesnt belong to me and even went as far to put my name on the mailbox. I leave a not on it usually and put it back in the box but my neighbors have gotten to the point they tell me they just through it out. This makes me wonder if Im getting everything that is sent to me. Ive even received mail that has been mailed to an entirely different street address 4 blocks from where I live. Im afraid to order anything on line anymore because they dont even have the curtesy to knock on the door when leaving a package and my letter carrier never delivers the same time every day and that means he or she will come usually any time between 10:00AM and as late sometimes as 4:30 PM. So I wont dare have prescription medication delivered that could even save me money. Even putting a red flag on the box is no guarantee my outgoing mail will be picked up either. I have had paid bills set in the box up to 72 hours with the red flag out before they decide to pick up my mail. Im really beginning to think that Beaver Creek mail carriers take there civil service exam orally because very few of them can read or care to. When the time comes I can afford to move from here it will be for only one reason and thats because of the postal service in Beaver Creek, They are the absolute worst in the country and really do give the USPS a bad name. I d almost bet you could replace every darn one of them with nothing but 11 and 12 year old students and they would run circles around them and probably even out preform them by 200%. I miss the old days when letter carriers could be looked up to by most everyone and like Police officers could be trusted to do the job to the best of his or her ability. Now, forget it, Beaver Creek trash collectors take more pride in the job they do.
Lazy and incompetent. We came to fix an address on our order (2818, supposed to be 2819) all of the other information was correct (street, zip code, name of person) and they sent it back to the sender. Everywhere else i have lived has figured those kind of mistakes out and left the mail, but not here. We have three other packages coming and walked in to the office to fix it and they cant get their process fixed to help us. Spent 30inutes here coordinating what should be an easy fix. This is ridiculous
My carrier in Woodhaven delivers by truck to a mailbox at the curb. When a package is delivered it requires the postal worker to exit the truck, walk up to the door (about 50 feet) and deliver the package. If there is any way humanly possible to stuff the package into the box, the carrier does so - even to the point of deforming a box too wide to make it fit and at times damaging my mailbox which I have to repair. The latest tactic to avoid walking up to the door is to claim they couldnt gain access to the front door. A total fabrication. There is a 4 + wide swath between 2 trucks in the driveway and a clear paved walkway to the door once past the trucks. Porch lights are on 24/7 so - well lighted. This is the last straw... In the future I will use virtually any other carrier given the opportunity.
Yea, so I read all of the previous reviews and hoped they were a bit exaggerated. Surprise, theyre not! Waited all day for my package to arrive. It did not. According to the tracker, it had been out for delivery since 8:52 am, and then at 7:20pm, the tracking system said they attempted delivery, but since no one answered, they left a notice. No deliverer, no notice, no package, but all LIES. Terrible, just tetrible. SmhUPDATE four months later... literally have been waiting on two packages. Waited until 8:00pm, since tracking stated they were both out for delivery early in the morning, just to not receive my things and also to receive an email from the seller stating there was a failed attempt at delivery. This HAS to be illegal. You guys are lying to people and its not right. #Epicfail
The mail carriers are liars they say they left a notice twice on my door both times I was home no one came to my door.... I get a notice that my package is at the post office so I go to get it they cant find it, so again I hear the supervisor has to call me when they find out where it is. This isnt the first time they have done this. Why should I be afraid to have things shipped to me? And what is wrong with this post office? Also try to call this place its a JOKE
The lady at the desk was very rude and not helpful at all. I wanted to get a post office box she said I needed to show them the title of my car proof of insurance and my lease.I have never been asked to show any of those things to get a post office box before I dont know what that lady was smoking I went to the Fairborn post office and got one without a problem.
Absolute horrible service, they act as if they dont care whether you get your mail or not. My package shows departed from 1 city thats 40 mins away and 18 hours later it still hasnt arrive? Oh, but wait it has arrived but these lazy people at the beavercreek post office dont scan items correctly so they dont get sent with carrier that morning and then your told you have to wait because theyre not gonna go look for it in a bin.......
This usps is a joke! So dirty inside, and unorganized! This location never answers their phone, and they only half-heartedly deliver packages. No concern if it’s timely, and good luck picking it up if you miss delivery, as I said, disorganized, messy, and hardly an employee that wants to earn the salary they’re paid. A shining example of how we put up with substandard services from our government. Use UPS or FedEx or any other service for parcels. Pay your bills online.
This post offices is a joke. They constantly loose my packages and never give me my mail. When you try to call no one ever answers and even trying to go by there does nothing .They just dont care. Ive even had this post offices loose medication and all they do is shrug there shoulders. I end up having to call the 800 number to get anything done.
We have received about 6 inches of snow the last few days. I have not shoveled the snow from in front of my mailbox in the 4 years Ive lived in our current house. The mailman rang our doorbell this afternoon and informed me that he has been holding our mail because there was too much snow in front of our mailbox, and he thought wed, get the hint when we didnt receive mail for a few days. So much for the whole, neither rain, sleet, nor snow thing I guess. I guess it was too much to ask for the jerk to put a note in the mailbox asking us to clear away the snow, he had to withhold the delivery of our mail and come to the door and be an ass in person. This isnt the first time our carrier has been rude. Weve also had horrible experiences in person at the Beavercreek location. I tried several times to call, and was never able to get through.
After calling several times to beavercreek post office and letting phone ring many times with no answer, I drove over to beavercreek post office stood in line for quite awhile (1 person working counter) to ask a question how I could obtain a passport. I was told they no longer had this option at this location. I told post office worker (she was very polite) it was on their website and that I tried to call and received no answer. She told me they didnt bother taking it off their website. The post office appearance outside was very unkempt. Landscaping very much in need of some TLC. Very disappointed in this post office.
Not customer service oriented AT ALL! They lost a package of mine and after days of trying to find someone to help me I finally reached someone who was checking it out and would get back to me the next day. Well the next day I called back to see what she found out and she informed me that she was busy and had 52 other things to do and did not have time and would call me later----well still no call and its now close of business day. Very disappointed and have never had such a problem getting help. Also was put on hold one time for 30 minutes and had to hang up and try back again.
If I could give them negative stars I would. I had to take my wifes wedding ring to ship it back to our jeweler in California for repairs. Due to the fact that UPS nor FEDEX will shop anything over $10,000 I was forced to ship with USPS. I took the ring to the Beavercreek post office after calling for 2 hours and getting no answer. They lost my wifes ring and were useless to help find it. When I went in the lady was very rude and made it seem like it wasnt a big deal at all. It took several days to even get someone to call me to let me know that they were working on it. I found out later that it was scanned but never actually put into the bag of item that are insured for over 10k. It was a nightmare and I wish I would never have to deal with them ever again...but they are the closest postoffice to me. Even when I have gone into mail simple things they always seem to act like they are put out and have the worst customer service. I have never been treated well here. If you can go somewhere else. WORST PLACE EVER! PLus it has a terrible odor.
The supervisor Cassandra was extremely rude when I called asking about a P.O. box. She left me on hold for 10 minutes and I had to call back 4 different times to get an answer. Then she starts getting an attitude and yelling at my girlfriend for stating she left me on hold. Extremely unprofessional, get another job.
I tried calling this facility multiple times and it was either constantly busy or would continually ring. I finally spoke to someone regarding my issue and she then placed me on hold, for another 10 minutes once I described what my tracking number showed. She did not ask me my name or tracking number and put me on hold not knowing what she was even supposed to be looking for. All I wanted to know is if it was there and if I could pick it up. Absolutely ridiculous customer service. Something needs to change. Its apparent that many people have this issue.
Total Idiots and/or incompetent management. Clyde is useless. They repeatedly return mail to the sender, even though its addressed 100% correctly. Theyve marked my office address as closed and stopped delivery (Its not) costing thousand of dollars and hours. Theyve left me on hold on the phone for over 30 minutes, trying to resolve their incompetence. etc, etc, etc. By far the WORST Post Office I have ever dealt with.
The worst Post Office Ive ever been. Rude and unprofessional. Very slow and unhelpful. Almost impossible to reach supervisor by phone. Slow lady in glasses with long dark hair not even trying to be helpful and nice. Looks tired and annoyed by the customers all the time.Avoid at any cost.
I didn’t get a package, went to the Beavercreek office and spoke with someone at the counter. She took my information and that was a week ago. Have not heard back. Talked with my neighbors and the business that sent the package. They have not received it. I would at least like to hear from someone with USPS.
If I could give the a no star I would package arrived at 45401 facility at 7:00 am on the 15th left that destination at 8:00 pm. Said was out to destination at 7:00 am 16th postal lady did not deliver call the beavercreek office lady said that had not received it yet? No wonder people would rather send packages FedEx or UPS. They keep this up and soon there will be no USPS.
We have days where no mail is delivered and one time went 3 days straight with no delivery. Every time you try to call the line is busy and you cant get through. Also get things returned to us that says undeliverable because of wrong address but it is the correct address and when I send it out again it magically gets delivered.
I called the office 4 times every 30mins or so, each time the phone either kept ringing with no answer, or it would just be busy. Finally after waiting 2 hours, i got an answer.I wanted my package to be held so that i can pick it up at their offices, because i was going to be away from home. The guy on the phone immediately sighs and raises his voice to tell me that that is actually a very difficult thing to do. I then proceeded to apologize to him for making his job difficult, but that it would be a waste for them to have to drive by my house and spend time trying to get hold of me when im not there. He then sighs audibly and asks me for my tracking number. Then after reading my number to him, he tells me that i cant pick up my package because it has not arrived. But at the same time i was looking at my tracking info, where it told me that it had arrived and that it had already been on a trip this morning to deliver it to me. I then told him this, and he got very agitated and told me that i was wrong, and then i repeated myself. Then he reread the numbers to me and found that he had made a mistake on the number. Then found the same tracking info that i had.We finally got down to me being able to come in and pick it up tomorrow, and he abruptly hung up on me.I understand that his job isnt fun and probably doesnt pay well. But i cannot help but be disgusted by his total lack of respect or even simple human courtesy. I would definitely not recommend taking your business there.
As soon as I got here there was a long line of people waiting to have stuff shipped. 5 minutes later the only person working at the desk says, I have something i have to do. Itll only be a few minutes. and walks away for 15 minutes as the line gets longer and longer without her seeming to care.
The postal carriers at this facility are lazy tell me why Ive been here for six months and still return mail is vacant. Do they not realize how many people would love to have a good job and that would do the job properly accurately and deliver peoples mail in a timely fashion without skipping peoples homes to avoid doing the work sad sad sad please Fire youre lazy postal workers.
I wish I could leave zero stars. The worst experience. I have never been so frustrated and helpless with trying to get ahold of someone. The number on google is not their personal number to the location. If you call that number, expect to be on hold for 45-60 min. I found the actual store number and it doesn’t work. I will drive farther and spend more money just so I don’t have to deal with them ever again.
I called today to make an appointment today to have my daughters passport processed. The phone was answered promptly. Vicky was very courteous and thorough in explaining exactly what we would need to have at the appointment. She also explained how to obtain the DS11 form that needs to be filled out prior to the appointment. So we will come prepared with the DS11 form, my daughters birth certificate, drivers license + copies of the front and back of it and the check for the U.S. Department of State.Kudos to Vicky!
I did a change of address over 2 weeks ago, still havent received mail at my new address or confirmation of the change. When i called the post office they were so unhelpful. Now i have to take my kids in there to figure out whats going on because their line has been ringing busy for over an hour. Smh
The Alpha Post Office in beavercreek is what I use to ship whenever I can. The main Beavercreek post office is a mess. I end up waiting an hour every time I come in. And its not the amount of people necessarily that makes it take so long, its that the workers pace themselves at snail speed and everything seems so disorganized.
My biggest complaint is mail service..mail in wrong mailbox....fear we do not receive all of our mail. Happens to others in our neighborhood. It would help if you used the same carrier so they would be familiar with the area.....this is ridiculous....need better service.
Terrible customer service Ive contacted them on multiple occasions and get talked to like trash given some generic answer and put on hold went to retrieve a package that was scanned as at that location told it wasnt there so I went there and made them go look for it and wow miraculously it was there they just didnt care to look

2022-04-08Lost my package. Called and it won’t even ring through. It’s just some weird noice. So I called the big office so they could tell them to call Me. For a month they would cancel my request on my missing mail and not contact me. It would be marked down as resolved in the computer the six or seven times I called. Had to make a formal complaint with USPS to even get it resolved in the Beavercreek office still never contacted me

2022-04-18The clerk behind the desk went out of her way to make sure I had a bad experience today. Despite the fact that I disguised my priority box she claimed she identified it and could not ship my prepaid shipping in it.Guarantee the box does not arrive on a postage due state or return to me. Congratulations, for having the worst customer service Ive ever experienced.

2019-07-13A nice sized post office with clearly marked entrance and exit. I visited in a Saturday around 11a - and there was a bit of a line for the counter. Luckily for me, I just needed to drop off a package. This location also has PO Boxes and flat rate boxes. Friendly staff, too!

2021-12-23The USPS Office in Beavercreek, Ohio is a nice-sized and fairly clean Post Office. They have inside mail boxes you can rent also. This place seems so short-staffed every time I go there and therefore, I have a very long wait most of the time at that Post Office. Overall, the staff there I deal with are decent for the most part except for one lady with a rude attitude. They better realize, without us customers buying/sending stuff using their services, theyd be out of a job.

2022-02-15Id just like the simple things in life, like you know, my mail to be delivered.. That would be fantastic. Seeing how, important documents and stuff. Sigh. I guess wanting your mail is too much to ask for

2021-10-21Unfortunately, I left my package to be mailed in the lobby of the post office the day it was closed, this past Columbus Day; it was a return to a store; the store has not received it nor has the store received anything indicating the package had been scanned at the post office, we are assuming the package was stolen from the lobby. I had an uneasy feeling about leaving the package there, should have followed my gut; though there were many other packages left in the lobby. I have no way of proving I left the package there.

2021-12-22I would give zero if I could. Treated my husband like trash because he was suppose to have a QR code but there was nothing in his paperwork saying that. It said to bring the label and have it printed had to go to another post office because they refused to help him.

2021-02-20I have never had any issues with this post office. Each time I go, I always get a friendly employee who is knowledgeable in the area I inquire about. The lines move at a decent pace and I have never waited in line for more than 30 minutes (and that was during Christmas time frame when it was high traffic). Thank you for all that you do because this job is a thankless one, that folks are always complaining about.

2020-07-02I like this post office. Its always busy, but thats because a lot of folks dont know how to use the online services or self service kiosk. The workers are always kind, even at the end of the day, and even after a line of crabby customers. They have helped me find a number of packages that were stuck in Cincinnati and Im grateful for their patience. My mailman is fantastic and always picks up our scheduled pickups on time, and he hides our packages!

2020-08-12Present clerks are poorly trained on the services offered by the postal service as well as lacking in customer service skills at the Beavercreek branch. On a recent visit I was told by 2 different clerks that I could not purchase insurance for a package that already had postage. After I explained I had been doing so for quite sometime there was no effort to ask me how or check with supervisor. I was dismissed like I did not know what I was talking about. The following day I went to a branch I knew would provide good service, purchased my insurance and reported the incident.
