Informed Delivery said package to be delivered Jan. 2. Then informed it was delivered. (Small package that should be in mailbox). Same info Jan. 6 and then was delivered. A couple years ago, tracking stated package at Huber Heights post office. I called 5 days later and they then delivered it. Not sure why packages arent delivered soon after arrival...and would post that they were when they have not been delivered.
Im a mass shipper and recently moved into the area. This post office has been more then welcoming with great staff, and also provided solutions to handle the Christmas influx of packages that expedited the process for both me and them. The Counter staff, workers, and supervisor have all been more then helpful.
They wont give my mail there people wont even deliver the mai to my house im not very happy with them
Im missing packages that say delivered. Amazon orders arrive a week late with two day shipping. Im missing mail that is coming from one state over. I could have walked to the next state and picked up my check faster than they can get it to me. My rent never made it to my landlord. It goes on and on. Who do I call to report this post office? I want my mail and I want to know that when I send out my bills that theyll reach their destination. This post office is ruining my credit. I shouldnt have to send my payments out a month in advance to hope they make it in time.
This post office is ridiculous and I plan to file a formal complaint. Since we moved to Huber we have had nothing but issues with our mail, weve been through at least 4 mail carriers in 6 months so they never get used to a route. The office itself is constantly understaffed, often having a line of 5+ people waiting. We frequently have mail scheduled to be delivered that doesnt come, and when I go in and wait through their lines they just get an attitude, throw their hands up and have no solutions. The employees are unhelpful, frustrated, and often rude. I would just like my mail to be delivered when it is supposed to be delivered. Thats it. This place needs to major help.
I wish I could give no stars, but not a choice. My packages are never being delivered to me! That is unexceptionable. But no one does nothing. Time after Time it says my package is in my box only to go out there and it is not . Lost again, delivered to wrong address, or whatever they do with it! Im so tired of this and nothing gets done. I wait on the phone for an hour to only be disconnected. Just what is going on?? Why cant anyone there just do your job the right way??? All you have to do is put it in the right box!!! Is that so hard? I am missing so many things that I have ordered. I know its been delivered to wrong address and whoever gets my stuff keeps it. My God, shame on you!! Shame on you for not doing your job and shame on you for keeping things that are not yours!! I get the wrong mail daily. I take it to the proper address no matter what it is. I figure, its not mine. Why cant others see that? Why can the post office do their job?? Unexceptable!!
If I could put 0 stars I would! This is, without a doubt, the absolute, WORST place I have ever had to deal with. I am not just comparing post offices, I am comparing every business I have ever had to come in contact with. I had one envelope to mail that couldnt be machined according to my mail man. It took me THREE visits, the first two I left after a half hour of waiting and the final visit took 25 minutes and thats only because I was the third person to walk in the door when it first opened. Why arent there more people to work at the front counter when the line is literally out the door? My second visit there were 2 clerks working and the line just kept growing and growing. Even though this line was so long, one clerk decided it was time for her lunch break and closed down her register and left one guy to handle it all. That is when I walked out. I would rather drive 10-15 minutes each way than deal with these idiots and this post office is less than a mile from my house.Additionally, I also agree with the other comments that when/if you ever get to the counter to get your mail sent out, the clerks are rude, unfriendly, and just seem irritated by the fact that they are there. I dont blame them for this. I would too if I had to work for such a poorly ran business! I hope the right people read this and do something about it but Im sure they wont because Ive been here for 4 years and its only gotten worse. I cant wait to move away so I never have to mail anything out of this post office again!
This is absolutely the worst post office Ive ever delt with. At least once a week, I get someone elses mail. They have lost numerous packages of mine. Tracking will say out for delivery, but never delivered. Neighbors are regularly knocking on my door to give me misdelivered mail. Trying to resolve any issues in person will get you nowhere. They have been basically robbing me (and probably a lot of other people) from all the missing packages over the years. Something is very wrong at this location. Never had issues like this at past addresses/offices.
While the waits may be long at times, Ive always received excellent service and I feel thats what matters most. Sometimes I have the incorrect postage on my package and theyre polite and helpful with correcting it.
By far the worst post office location Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The counter employees are incredibly rude and seemingly jaded with every word they utter towards you. Slow would be an upgrade for the pace they work, I recently had to go in to ask for a supervisor after being told my elderly mother was shouted at by an employee of the branch only to be told myself to leave or I would have the police called on me after merely asking for an explanation. I absolutely refuse to do any business with this failing entity moving forward.
Im surprised at all of the very negative comments on here. I have lived here for 8+ years and have never had anyone at the Huber P.O. be rude to me. They are usually polite and professional behind the counter. My only real complaint is that there is ALWAYS a line to wait in for service even though there is usually 2 people working behind the counter. I have an excellent mailman and he is always willing to stop and answer my questions and he is very helpful.
I’m not sure of why so many negative comments myself but I’ve been using this post office for several years and have pretty always had really good service. They’re friendly, lines can be long but the self service stuff is great. And sending packages there can be quite a bit cheaper than UPS (over $20) one Christmas.
The postal service delivers my mail every day. Theyre overworked, understaffed, and underpaid. They deserve better than we give them.
This post office is aweful. I waited in line for 2 hours for a book of stamps. When I finally made it to the counter I was treated with an utter lack of respect as if I personally had made their day horrible. There were 30 people in line and 2 registers, while employees were hanging out in the back. Following that one of the cashiers randomly disappeared. Worst Post Office Ive ever been to, I will not be returning.
I didnt even know a US Post office could BE this bad. Packages that are supposedly out for delivery when tracked online dont show up at the door until three days later, sometimes mangled and covered in tape. And forget actually going to the post office to figure out where your package is. Always understaffed at the most inappropriate times (1 worker at 5pm when everyone is getting off of work, really?). The staff they DO have is generally apathetic and completely lacking any sense of urgency to help the line of customers extending to the door. And theyre often out of stamps. How is a post office out of stamps??
I was supposed to get my amazon package yesterday and it never came. So I tracked it this morning and it said it was delivered and signed by Bailey. Well I’m not Bailey and I never got my package. I was home all day and when I left for maybe 20 minutes, my husband was here. It was never delivered. Seriously tired of the HH post office Branch
Never had a problem until they changed mail persons...now for the second time i have mail that cant be delivered due to a blocked receptacle....i live in a house with a mailbox on the porch i think someone is just to damn lazy because they forgot to deliver it in the first place, If this keeps happening i will report to the Post Master General until someone gets fired. That 2 day delay cost my business 380 dollars, How about someone pays me for lost wages.
Mail gets delivered later and later. The other day it was after 6pm when the mail came. And today I got mail and a package, which looked like it had been thrown on the front steps as it was teetering on the edge, which were for two other addresses. I am not the mail person and should not have to deliver other peoples mail. One was next door but the other was on a different street.
Have held my package on a 2nd day air shipment for almost a week now, cant call in, all I get is a busy signal, the few times Ive gotten thru all it does it ring and then turns into a busy signal. Pathetic, postage is paid in advance but they dont care about you or your money, they do whatever they want, Ive lived at our current address for 6 years, today I got yet another piece of mail for people that used to live here, weve done a change of address, weve marked it does not live here and STILL does not live here and put it back in the mail. We get our Tuesday advos normally on a Thursday if at all, I get important mail, weeks after I should, I got 2 bank statements the other day from separate months on the same day. Worst post office Ive ever had to use. No one feels sorry for the post office closing when you treat your customers this way, your salary is paid through our taxes, then on top of that we pay to ship the mail, and yet you dont care one bit.... Id rather pay more and use UPS or even FedEx... It honestly makes me want to move to another city just so I dont have to deal with this, very frustrating (and yes, Ive called numerous times, Ive even visited and all I get is attitude, and I must be misplacing my mail, what a joke)
I agree with others that this is the worst post office I have ever been to and Ive lived in 7 different States! Firstmost, the employees indifference towards customers is amazing. They literally couldnt care less about customers and its almost that they are slowing things down like some kind of silent protest. There have been times they dont even make eye contact during your entire visit and their monotonic voice as they say May I help whos next proves they are just waiting out the time until their retirement. Dont even try to ask for a receipt. I have been told repeatedly by different employees that they dont issue receipts unless you are insuring your packages. I get the strong feeling that if a customer had a heart-attack while waiting in line, they wouldnt even so much as pick up the phone for 911. Myself, being a government employee, am disgusted in their behavior and management. Its always refreshing to be treated like an inconvenience instead of a customer.
Today the staff at the Huber Heights post office went above and beyond to help me. Whilst practicing mindlessness, I had dropped off two pieces of mail in the box outside the building, only to realize that I had forgotten to put stamps on them! Even worse, it didn’t dawn on me until I got home! I called the branch and they said they would be sorted by 5:30 and to come in then. When I arrived the staff was extremely helpful and knew right away about my letters. I am so grateful for the effort it took to separate them and set aside for me. Now my bills won’t be late 🙂
The only reason this is 1 star is the fact I cant put zero. Every time I have been to this post office I have waited more than a half hour. I have lived in my home for 5 years and still get the previous 5 homeowners mail. If you try to call this branch the phone is busy, I dont care what time, its busy. I recently moved and put in a change of address, about 10% of my mail gets forwarded. I literally go by the old house to get my mail. This post office is a prime example why the post office has financial issues, they suck
Ordered something from Amazon, paying for 2 day shipping. Track the package on its route. Its out on delivery from this post office by 9am on the day it is to arrive and by 7pm it states that it couldnt be delivered due to wrong address. Check the info with Amazon, correct address. Go up to the post office the next day. They have the package....check the address on the label....correct address. I had gotten my regular mail that day so it looks to me that someone was being lazy and didnt want to come back to deliver. The guy at the post office offered no excuse nor any apologies. This isnt the first issue Ive had with this office either.
I do not like this place. I just moved to Ohio so my direct deposit has not set in yet because info not have bank account here in Ohio. I get my checks mailed. For the convenience of me I asked previously before could they hold my mail on a Thursday so I can pick it up on Friday. My mailman route does not get to me till around 230 and I have to be at work at that time. I have been doing that for a month. They check my id and they give it to me. Today on October the 10th; Rick ( station manager) told me that we cannot do that. He went on his rant to tell me that people pay 500 to be able to do that and Im not an acception. I have been doing this for a month with no problems. So now for some reason my check was not in the mail Friday, today is Saturday, my bank closes at 12. I now have to wait till Monday to cash my check because I know my mail man will be here on time for me to cash it. Thank you Rick for the inconvience.

Im only giving them 1 star because they wont allow me to give them 0 stars. One word describes this office, incompetent. On 2 different occasions they have lost my packages or gave them to the wrong address. Worst post office I have ever dealt with in my life.
Terrible. Couldnt locate a package that I had the slip for. Was supposed to call back with information regarding where it went and no one knew anything. My carrier is a nice guy, I like him. Is the postal office that needs to get it together.
Never had a bad experience here and Ive been using this branch since it opened, so I dont understand the large number of one star reviews here. Most of the employees Ive encountered over the years have been pleasant and helpful. My only complaint is the self service postage machine seems to be out of service a lot.
This is worst post office ever. The mail man keep returning one peice of mail back to sender. I spoke with TWO supervisors to figure out why the mail man kept sending the one piece of mail back and no one could answer the question. Finally I called back and apparently a supervisor gave the phone to the manager and she promised me she would figure out why the mail man she has known for years kept sending my mail back. But never called back. Sad case. Sad service.
Im told I need more tape on a box I was shipping that I pre paid. It then went over 1 oz and they wanted to charge me an extra 5 dollars. Lady was seriously incompetent.
If you have the choice to use this post office or a pigeon, go with the latter. I was told theyre too busy to get a package from the back for me, and used the same excuse when I mentioned that I had been on hold for 10 minutes earlier in the morning. Also asked me if Id checked my mailbox for it, as if I hadnt thought of it myself. 10/10 do not recommend.
I paid for priority mail and my bf was home all day and they still didnt ring my doorbell. This is not the first time I have filed a complaint for this!!!
I signed up for informed delivery for my PO Box & still no answer to complete the process! I was told their informed delivery computer was down twice!
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A MAILBOX KEY FOR A MONTH. I HAVE TO GO TO POST OFFICE DAILY TO PICK UP MAIL AND THAT IS NOT EASY FOR ME BECAUSE I DONT GET OFF WORK UNTIL THEY CLOSE. THEY TOOK MY $20 FOR KEY BUT WONT GIVE ME A KEY. IVE LOST MAIL, GOTTEN BILLS THAT WERE LATE.

They are a bunch of inbred thieves. They have stolen 3 packages from me and counting. And this last one was a medical suit for a surgery I had. I HATE this place and they KNOW they have a thief working for them and have still done nothing.

Terrible I park in the same spot every day and I finally get my mail 2 days later because the driver puts mailbox blocked starting to get ridiculous.
The staff is friendly for the most part. They always seem understaffed though. I felt bad for the one lady behind the counter who had a massive line to help.

2018-05-03Stopped in at the United States Post Office in Huber Heights because using the UPS stores they charge you a surcharge up to $8 for mailing u.s. postal flat rate boxes. That is ridiculous but UPS Store needs to make money off the US Postal Service to. Best time to come here is midday its totally empty in there and the staff is very friendly. They also have self-service so you can do your flat rate boxes are other mailing needs without having to wait in line. Check out the pictures.

2022-02-09This is the ABSOLUTE WORST POST OFFICE IVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. IF AT ALL POSSIBLE DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. I WAS FIRCED TO SEND A STANDARD BIRTHDAY CARD CERTIFIED MAIL AT A COST OF $5 BECAUSE IT Wasnt just paper. The clerk yelled at me and said she cant help how other clerks price items. Ummmm.......

2021-03-04They always try their best to get people in and out. I’ve had minor problems with them, which are about the same issues I have had with DHL, FedEx or UPS so no biggie. They are understaffed, under appreciated, overworked and don’t get enough credit. This location always seems a bit backed up but not their fault (usually unprepared customers).

2021-04-03I dont know why this post office is rated low. People are complaining about their home mail, but this should only be for the actual post office. Ive mailed out several packages from here over the past few months and the front desk personnel are always friendly and helpful when I go in. The line moves fairly quickly as well even when it looks intimidating. I have no complaints about this place whatsoever. My home mail has consistently come around 5pm and my post man is awesome!

2021-02-13Horrible always confirm that your shipper has other shipping options available never use the USPS for anything. So many times I have packages schedule for delivery and it never shows up and they never update the tracking history so you know where your package is at. These people probably can’t even walk and chew gum at the same time

2020-04-19I went here yesterday to mail almost 50 certified letters for my work. The place was pretty busy the whole time and unfortunately I had to take up a significant amount of time getting all of these letters entered in and mailed. I felt really bad about taking up so much time, but the whole time the employee working with me was super nice and very patient. I didnt catch his name for sure, but I believe someone may have called him Jose? Just wanted to give him a shout out for being so nice!

2020-07-16They have managed to completely screw up my mail. Tried numerous times to use hold mail as we are frequently away for days. Still delivering.So got a PO Box and requested temporary forwarding.Now my mail being returned to sender as invalid address. Completely messed upmy address invalid.
