Worst. Post office. Ever.Service could not be slower inside the building. Mail mysteriously goes missing on a regular basis. Mail rarely makes it to its destination... some mail arrives open, gets left in the rain, they NEVER take my outgoing mail🙄13 people were indicted for stealing and dumping mail, cashing other people’s checks etc. Its a disgrace all the way around.Also, be sure to take your own tape— they leave some tape out for people to use, then when you use it- it doubles the price of whatever you’re shipping. Watch out for that. Crooks.
This is my last straw with this office - I no longer use them to ship, but unfortunately they deliver my mail. Beyond the rude staff and stolen packages, I continue to have mail destroyed because my postman shoves them into my mailbox to the point that they’re jammed and can’t get them out without cutting open the packages. This time, they decided not even to deliver it! “Delivery attempt made” email from Amazon, yet there was no attempt! Nothing left at the door, in my mail box etc. AND I’ve been home all day! Straight laziness and not the slightest bit of curtesy from anyone at this office in the unfortunate 7 years I’ve had to work with them. Glad I get to pick it up now outside of my busy work schedule - love when our hard earned dollars go to a job that I end up having to do!
Postal operators inside have always been very professional ,accurate & friendly...Post Office always looks & smells clean. From what Ive seen in line, every person is important & given the time according to their needs. My Post Office is the East Livingston Branch...The mailman is friendly as well__always responds to a greeting...Im happy we still have mail delivered...Sun, snow, sleth or rain the mail is always delivered __better than the Pony Express. Thanks for doing an excellent job!
Worst service ive ever recieved. Went in to have a key made for our apartment mailbox after moving and they said it would be ready the next thursday. When i went to pick it up they said the paper never got pulled for the key to be made and the only person that makes keys was going on vacation the next week so it would be two more weeks before we got the key. I had already recieved multiple packages that were delivered and bills and they actwd like it was my fault and no problem that i had no way of getting my packages then after i expressed my frustration with the male clerk that this was not ok he proceeded to call the mailman and have all the mail taken out of the mailbox held at the poat office until my fiance who is out of town comes and gets it which he did not give consent for them to remove our mail in the first place. We will be taking any legal action we can against this post office and are contacting the main postal service to get this resolved hopefully ending some jobs.
I wonder who is the hiring manager for this place? What qualities and professionalism do they look for when hiring? They need to go back to training themselves. The one who lacks professionalism cannot hiring someone who has professionalism. I get it that we have Bills to pay and mouths to feed, but a little decency would go a long way.
Terrible rude people who just try to embarrass you or make you feel like an idiot even when youre trying to ask a simple question. This place has always been awful. Before I even approached the counter the lady looked at me as if she didnt like me. Through trying to explain my situation to her she continued to interject while raising her voice as if I was being difficult until my fiance had to cut in to stop her which caused her to FINALLY listen. Honestly the other patrons were staring at us. Im in complete shock at the disrespect and attitude of the staff.In the end nothing was our fault since their courier marked a package as delivered when it wasnt so now I have no clue where my package is and neither do they.Edit: my package was lost, never delivered, never returned to Amazon. Can this place finally fire some people and hire those that will actually do their job?
Expect long lines and a shortage of people working the counter. Usually the self-service kiosk is of no use, if you have a package to ship, because then door to the bin is jammed (probably because they never empty it). They yell at you that you can just leave a parcel at the counter if you just paid the postage at the kiosk, so you still have to stand in line. Not to mention their reputation at this branch of losing mail.
Place got busy really quick and only 2 clerks working. No problem for me with service, however, Im a little disturbed by some new policies and the response that i received from the clerk. I wrote fragile on both packages on every side of my packages in BOLD BLACK SHARPIE, The clerk asks me if have anything fragile in the boxes, i said I have marked every panel on the packages fragile, so yes there is fragile items in the package. The clerk goes on to tell me that if i want special handling for my packages then i would have to purchase fragile stickers at an additional cost of $9.00 EACH because for me to just write it on the box the handlers wont look or read it. I was like are you effn kidding me!!? I was in a crunch so I paid for 2 stickers. My total was $137 for 2 boxes and a small package. It would have been cheaper at UPS and they would not have charged me $18 bucks for fragile stickers. No more packages will I be sending via USPS..
Dont expect service with a smile. Youll be lucky if the tellers dont argue over who has to take the next person in line. Ive heard them tell customers to go use the automated machine after theyve stood in a long line. They routinely mark something as delivered for tracking purposes while it sits on a truck for another day or two, and I give my neighbors their mail on a weekly basis. The place needs a complete staffing and morale overhaul.
Fast and friendly service. I didn’t get her name, but a young Black lady (Dee maybe?) with cornrows served me with a smile and was patient while I looked for change so I didn’t have to swipe my card for .71 cent for postage. She was very kind to all of her customers. There was an older white lady who wasn’t as friendly with her customers but that wasn’t my experience thankfully.
I visited the post office today and the lady behind the counter was extremely rude to all of the customers who checked out with her she’s a light skin women I couldn’t get her full name but the last letters of her name ended in “evyn” She yelled at a few elderly people and it broke my heart the way she talked to them . No one is forcing anyone to work in customer service it’s a choice and for you to sit there and speak to people in that tone is disgusting , People should be able to ask questions and send/receive mail without being yelled at . I strongly feel that job isn’t a right fit for her and her horrible attitude would never recommend this location to anyone and probably will never be here again
Our mail is always delivered late. Worst case was receiving our Valentines stuff on St. Patricks Day. Whenever Im expecting a package, it always says that it has been delivered when I track it, but I never received a box, slip, or even a knock on the door. When I call about it they tell me it was delivered and I have to sit on the phone with them for at least 1/2 an hour (on a good day) until someone even begins to actually help me.
I have lived in the area for 2 years now. I do a decent amount of shopping via internet and receive approx. 10 packages per year. I have not successfully received 1 package from this post office. Every time i have to call and figure out where my package is. In two different instances, my package was delivered to the wrong address (not even on the same street). Most of the time, the driver is too lazy to even attempt to deliver the package. I dont even receive the notices he claims he leave for me. Its funny, because he seems to be able to successfully deliver my junk mail. Please use trusted private delivery companies such as UPS and FedEx because if you use this post office for anything other than free boxes, then youd be an idiot (like me).
It used to be a very nice place, there are two African-American females that work in there now,they are very ghetto and their attitude is really poor. I walked up to the cash register when it was my turn and asked the lady if she could seal my envelope for me so I wouldnt have to lick the top. And she said with a very nasty attitude you need to check and make sure you have everything in there and No I will not seal it.. So good luck to everyone else.
I cant believe this branch is still open. Total disregard for the customers...the laziest bunch of morons working Ive ever seen. 15-20 people in line and 1 clerk at the counter....unbelievable! The mail is never put into the boxes on time, you hear them laughing and goofing off in the back, and the attitude is we can care less. No other branch that Ive been to comes even close to the inefficiency and rude behavior of this location. No wonder why more and more people are turning away from using US Mail.
I try to be a good citizen and utilize our government services whenever reasonable and possible. However, I quiiiiiittttt on alllllll things USPS related!!! No direct number to my post office thats literally 1.5 miles down the street, and three days of 50 min hold time and THE WORST IVR/AVR Ive ever been forced to use!!! THEYYYYYYY SUCCCCKKKK!!! This is why theyre losing customers and closing locations!!!
I mailed a package on 12/31/2013 to Morganton NC 28655 with tracking and came back after winter break and checked on my package today 1/7/2014 and it was delivered to Grand Rapids, Ohio 43522 on Jan 2. I also see postmen delivering mail in the dark with flashlights. What is the problem with the post office. Get and manager that knows what he is doing. It is unacceptable for a package to be delivered to the wrong location. I mail things sold on Ebay and cant have it delivered to the wrong place or then I get negative feedback.
Ordered a large leather item which was literally rammed into my small apt complex mailbox .. couldnt shove it back in the mail hut and had to wiggle and pull out it!Mailman couldve walk 100ft to my front porch and left it! Item now bears creases in it! 😠😢 Thank you so much for ruining my birthday gift!!
Always understaffed so theres a long wait. When I put mail on hold and request it be delivered when I return from vacation it doesnt get delivered and I have to drive here to get it and ask them to tell the mailman to start delivering my mail again.Very ghetto and rundown feel in and around the place.
I went in and was greeted by the clerk. He answered my question and gave me the information I needed to fill out. As I was filling out the paperwork, he continued to help other customers with the same friendly attitude. Was very pleased as this was my very first time coming into this post office!!

2022-04-05The clerks in this postal service are very unprofessional and very rude! They do more talking to each other than the customers. I have know problem waiting in line at the post office, because I know how hacked it can get. Spike the fact that this one particular clerk, the way she address me as I was done with my transactions. She told me as I precede to leave her station. she replies huh huh!! Instead of saying have a good day like she did the Caucasian lady? I will not be returning to this post office again! So sad that we as customers, has to go through this. Also another lady mention this postal service has bad customer service!

2020-11-10I appreciate the later hours this location has. Everything was clean and well organized. Also Tamara was very professional and friendly. I needed to mail a lot of packages and she provided me with much needed information. I will be using this location in the future.

2021-06-25Today 4/23/21 my passport appointment was at 11:30 am. I got there @ 11:30 they won’t help me because I didn’t get there 15 minutes early to fill out the application. The lady who was there with the box braids, fake gray eyes, light-skinned she was soo rude, mean, obnoxious, loud and lack of professionalism. I was so angry and I asked to see a manager but she went around and came back told me the manager is not there, she left. Which I didn’t think that was true.

2019-11-15I brought a package that Id boxed myself to ship to California. The clerk suggested it would be cheaper to use on of their Prepaid boxes instead. She got the box, put my package inside of it, sealed it up and saved me $5. There was no reason for her to do this except to provide good customer service. This particular station gets a bad reviews but Im there frequently and have either no problems or good experiences like this last visit.

2019-01-02Most of the time service is okay. But there have been several times where Ive had to take other tenants there mail because it was in my box. Which I always find concerning when it happens because our addresses and street names are completely different. So it leaves me to wonder how much of my expected mail has gone into someone elses box.So now, if place and order online I set up text and email alerts for everything.

2019-05-14Tracking for packages going through this post office is never updated. I never know if my packages are going to arrive or not, or when.Non-delivery slips are not responded to, and not trackable online.Ive lost $100 worth of packages through this post office so far (international shipments) - these packages are not trackable on the USPS website, but they are able to pull up tracking for them internally, but will not furnish me copies, instead directing me to the website which, as stated previously, does not take tracking numbers for packages originating out of country. I pointed this out, but they didnt care and essentially told me to piss off.In-person customer service is dismissive, non-sympathetic, and gets very defensive if you imply that your packages are being lost or mishandled.In short, its a typical incompetant USPS post office.
