So as most know usps is not the best postal service, so Ill list the reasons why I like them and why I dont.Like-they are cheapDislike-they rush-they dont care about complaints-they ruin packages-one time they will get you ship media mail sec0nd they wont-they do not offer refunds to people when its their fault
Good customer service.let me forewarn you that new self-service postage machine is not for tall people. they need to consider providing a chair to sit there to enter the data. I struggle with that machine for almost 10 minutes on Sunday the lady behind me was a foot shorter than me she saw the problem. even though I was touching the screen correctly, I was hitting it at the wrong angle because Im tall. therefore; she had to assist me in completing the details so I could mail my package.so dont get frustrated ask them to give you a chair🤗Chapter 2. So I just left the post office at this location with much dismay I still have my package in my hand that I tried to mail. this is about 10 days after the above forementioned encounter took place with me and the Machine.So I just left the post office at this location with much sadness I still have my package in my hand that I tried to mail. The self serve machine did not respond whether I smiled at it, looked at it, pushed every button that was around it did not respond. All it gave me was a blank screen. I even got down to an under 5 foot 5 person and try to enter my information. Without Avail. I left the post office not disgruntled but my package still in hand must wait for another day before it can be on its way. The end
We went to this location for the first time Dec.16, so about a week before Christmas. A self-service kiosk allows you to buy stamps and ship packages and its right inside the door. Very convenient. More helpful was the elf standing by the machine helping customers. She was efficient and friendly. How often do you get to say that about a USPS person? Im tempted to drive there for all my postal needs, even when the office for my city is under a mile away and this location is about six miles from me.
If I could give this location no stars I would. I live on a main road and the postal service refuses to deliver packages. I have to go and pick them up. My packages require no signiture or payment, but they keep saying they attempted delivery and it is held at the carrier facility. I have an infant and order things to be delivered for a reason. Both packages that were to be delivered in the last week. I was home all day when they stated they attempted delivery. They never attempted and are pure lazy. This is a joke of a facility. I will never order packages if I find out it is getting shipped with USPS. Now I know why people talk so bad about USPS. This company needs to get themselves together and actually do their job!
A month ago, I signed a form to hold my mail because I went for vacation. Today, I went to this post office to pickup my mail and No one at this post office (southland) can tell me where my mail is... The mail man at the front desk was rude and disrespectfully towards me when I tried to asked a question. The worse post Office services
Always have had problems in the time i have lived near this post office. Whether its the carrier delivering mail / packages that needs to be signed for and sign it themselves (whats the purpose of paying for signature if they sign it?! I think thats fraud forging my signature! )Then if i do a hold mail like recently, usually you can pick it up there or have it delivered on a date. Well the dates i chose to be held the 1 day it was held the next day stuff got delivered then the next day it was held when you only have 1 HOLD MAIL!I will say most problems are with the carriers I have had but 99.9% of the time if i ever need to go to this post office for anything i dread it because the line is almost to the door all the time but really it may just be that busy, either way its not fun.Another package i have to call and wait on hold for today was a game controller that the ebay seller told me the address he shipped to which was accurate with my address. So why is it tracking says delivered to original sender and in the history says there was an issue with address? I think people need to start being fired or reprimanded.
Just went to the post office on Smith road and they have lines on the floor to keep six feet apart. Then you have the two geniuses that work there standing right next to each other behind the counter. Im forced to be within one foot of the person next to me so I can pay for my purchase. Then theres no way to get ahold of anybody to report the stupidity.
I have been going to this post office for years. Never had an issue and always friendly kind service. Its quick, easy and pleasant! Glad its close to home! Keep up the good work!!
We had some issues with some very important packages that were supposed to be forwarded to our new address and our new home post office. Mr. Richard Hill is the supervisor my husband and I spoke with. He went through great lengths to help us with our packages and all our mail needs and said he would take it upon himself to make sure our mail started going to the correct place. Thanks so much to the staff and especially MR.RICHARD HILL AT the Middleburg Hts.. Post office for all the effort , patients, and time, taken to help us. MR. RICHARD HILL deserves the very best for all his effort & we would like to say Thank you so very much for your kindness and helpfulness.( We need more people in the world like him!) Kudos to him and all he does. What a great role model and example to the other staff.Mr. & Mrs. Karl and AnnMarie Penkal.
Literally the best post office Ive been to, every employee I talked to there was polite, warm, and efficient. I may have lucked out since I came at an especially deserted time, but I wanted to give them all kudos for excellent customer service.
I was home all day long and have a letter waiting for me that cannot be redelivered that I have to sign for that I have to now run to Smith road to try to get back. You could have knocked on the door you could have rung the doorbell, Im sitting at the kitchen table. This makes absolutely zero sense.
10 people in line and one person working the counter. This is a busy post office. Please do something to resolve this situation. Yesterday there were 11 in line and 2 employees. Its been like this for months....
Ive never had a bad experience myself. I have a small home business and come here often. Lauren always greats me even if she isnt the one to help. The other 2 guys thats I regularly see are always nice and helpful.
This is my home post office and overall I find it better than most. It serves a large area, so it may get busy at times, but that is no different than other locations. The phone number that Google lists currently is the correct number.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Im missing 2 packages which made it just fine until they got to this office. Ive been calling for days and the literal answer from the rude woman on the phone was I cant do anything for you, call back another time. Seriously?! How about taking a name and number or anything at all. And I go in person to try to solve this and the man at the counter was even worse. Completely rude and had to make such snarky comments about what I should be doing instead of seemingly bothering him. These people are less than helpful, and being a manager in customer service I would be embarrassed to have employees treating people this way. If there really is a supervisor at this location I hope they pay attention to their employees and address the problem.
Worst Post Office ever. Missing packages, I sent out. Missing packages that did not get delivered to me, you call them and they dont care, Their mangers are a joke. So lazy
Best location, hands down. I live in a different city, yet return to this location. I went last week with my kids, and there was barely a line and the staff was so sweet. The woman who took care of us even have my little ones some Christmas suckers ❤
Fire everyone, get new staff. After driving there because I could get no help over the phone, they gave me 2 of 3 packages and told me the third wasnt there. I called back after and some RUDE WOMAN told me they dont have to mail me my stuff, it was a privilege??? My tracking info said it was at their facility too. Its YOUR JOB, now Im setting here without a vehicle because of this...
Well I don’t understand why I get 2nd notice on a certified mail when I didn’t get a first notice or even a knock on the door! My mailman sees me in my recliner everyday!
Actually it was nice to get in ,get exactly what shipping was needed by the experts in this post office .The appearance was clean and the day was nice .
I go to this one cause its the closest one to me, yet I wish I didnt have to. Theyre extremely rude and make you feel that youre bothering them. Some of the workers arent this way and I dont mind those ones, but it seems that the majority are.
Employees are rude and work at one pace-slow no matter how many people are in line. I agree that they feel like you are bothering them.
I got my passport photo at this location, the wait was a bit longer than I was anticipating.
Apparently they cant assist you when the doors are unlocked and youre inside because theyre closed. if youre closed, lock the door and dont let people in.

2022-03-22I used recycled cardboard to package a 16 x 20 wooden frame with a plastic cover, and custom artwork. I purchased packaging tape and inquired about a ballpark price to ship from Cleveland to New Orleans. After securing my artwork with bubble wrap and taping the cardboard, I ended paying $23.90 for a 24 x 20 x 3 package with added insurance + signature requirement on delivery.Pros:* Richard, and the other workers at the counters, were very helpful and professional in answering any questions that I had.* The prices were less expensive than what I had googled...$24 vs. and estimated $50.Cons:* This location closes at 5:30pm and will get super busy after 5pm.Conclusion: My experience was pleasant and I will return.Update March 2022: This post office is still a good location to go to. I am still a little sore about having paid $163 to mail a box of supplies to Vietnam and having the box returned to me. I am good now and know the jooks (workarounds) for getting stuff over there. Long story short, I started creating the 228 label art (aka slaps) this year and it is great. The USPS will ship them in bulk to your house for free. I have shared a few of my pieces for your viewing pleasure. #blackwellsketches

2022-03-02Usually the self kiosk box isn’t locked because it’s too full and I’m able to mail out my packages at my convenience! Unlike other POST OFFICES THAT NEVER check their self service box for days and it’s always full!However, I went to close it and it seems busted and broken! It’s stuck open, broken and jammed. Luckily my packages were thin enough to slip through the opening into the basket in the back and I was able to reach back far enough to do so! Hopefully this will get fixed soon.

2022-06-05I would give this less if I could. I am home all day 99.9% of the time I WFH and here, yet again ...I get a stciky saying no recipient home pick up at post office. Why is it ok to lie..lie..lie.. Did they try to knock.NO.....Did they try to buzz my door....NO.... Its not ok to lie and say noone is home and leave a sticky. This goes along with the governmental system of LIES.... Terrible service my goodness. Just terrible. I cant even get a redelivery as it says its not my address.. SMH..;-(

2021-07-15Incompetent workers, say theyve pulled my package before its supposed to get sent back to the company and I say Ill be there in a half hour. Get their and the person I spoke to is gone and other staff cant find it. Call back the next day to see if the person I spoke to is in and they can verify what happened to me. Lady claims I never called and after I assert I did, she claims the guy didnt what he said. Doesnt offer to find him and ask and frankly I have no idea if my package is getting sent back or lost somewhere at their office. Lady also preceded to be rude and give me attitude simply for me asking several questions to clarify how what the man I spoke to who said he would pull it but their system said otherwise.

2021-07-13Even though the Post Office is severely understaffed, the clerk today was incredible.He was friendly, patient, and efficient. He was working by himself with a line (literally) to the door, but he never once lost his composure.Great overall. Thank you for your hard work, guys.

2022-01-11Richard at the counter is extremely rude and sarcastic. I have had him be rude to myself previously and then today I saw him belittle and laugh at a elderly man who was not confrontational at all. There is no reason to treat others so disrespectfully and out right mean.

2021-12-20I used the 24 hour kiosk at 8:19pm on Sunday. The kiosk worked greated but the package drop off box was locked so I was not able to actually drop off the package that I had paid for postage on. What is the purpose of being open 24 hours if I cannot drop off my package??I would give this location 0 stars if it was possible.

2021-11-05Just curious is it common practice for your mail carriers to look through peoples windows before knocking on someones door? Cause my mailman has done this several times in the 4 years living here. Very invasive and unprofessional. All to leave a certified letter notification, ridiculous!

2022-01-09Terrible. Too many times they loose packages and letters dropped off on site. Calling results in will put in a request and nothing happens. Dont use this location - they are incompetent.
