Made an appointment for my passport to a week in advance to come to the appointment and find out they dont have a clerk and I shouldve gotten a call once I made an appointment...I received no call, no voice-mail, no text nor email...now I have to make a new appointment at a new location delaying the process
This my first review I have had to leave for any place, but I called at 11 am and the lady was rude. It is only the beginning of the day, I cant imagine what the person is like at the end of the shift. I have been and still in the customer service industry. You represent your agency and make or break the image of your company. Im not looking for a firing but Im hoping these calls are recorded and the employee is either retrained or reminded of how to behave. Maybe I am young and dont know anything, thats why I am calling for information so no need to be abrupt and rude with a customer. No you are welcome, good bye or do you need anything else just a quick abrupt hang up. Thanks for screwing up my mood for the rest of the day.
The ultimate worst post office ever. I called earlier and was placed on hold before getting my question out then placed on hold for about 5 minutes wasnt thanked for being on hold rep sounded as if she was agitated which I shouldnt be able to hear through her tone. This specific location always says they attempted to deliver a package and leave notices yet they never actually come nor leave notices. Thats the worse type of profession to display. To get these results every time is horrible. Do better.

This place is a joke..they delivered my package to the wrong address. Marked it as delivered. THEN made the excuse that it was delivered correctly. Taking no responsibility for their mistake.If it was delivered correctly, it would be in the mailbox... unless the carrier left the box open after.. but then it wouldnt have been locked. So it was not delivered. They need a new carrier who knows how to read numbers.... and maybe street names. Though that may be asking too much.... last time they misdelivered 50 lbs of dog food...Horrible carrier on our route and horrible customer service at the building. Wouldnt be surprised if they kept packages as dishonest was they are there.
Laziest workers ever. Showed up at 3:05 to apply for a passport. The worker told me he stops doing passports at 3:00. I asked why and he said because it’s towards the end of the day and it takes time away from other customers. I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER THERE.
Terrible, horrific customer service. The place is NEVER stocked with supplies. There’s a light skinned younger girl that works behind the counter, and she never even stands up. She sits on a chair her entire shift. She’s rude, ghetto, and unhelpful. I don’t even know how she has a job!! The worst post office in all of northeastern Ohio!!!!!
The woman that answered the phone was SO RUDE. I asked her a simple question and she responded with, Well I dont know either. I wish I wouldve asked her name because the lack of customer service etiquette was ASTONISHING. The only information I have was that she was an older black woman that was answering phones at 12:54pm on Tuesday March 29th. As a GOVERNMENT BUSINESS you need to retrain her on how to respectfully and professional deal with guests. Ending a phone call with OKAY, Is NOT OKAY. I am just so disgusted with the service i received. If you need information or plan to go to a postal office any time soon, AVOID THIS ONE AT ALL COSTS.
I wish I could give zero stars for this 55th street location that features inside mail thieves posing as postal workers who steal checks after scanning them. They also rifle through mailboxes. May their deeds see the light of justice.
This is one of the most unprofessional, inefficient post offices I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. I have asked over 6 times to have my packages held and not delivered. They continue to deliver packages to my front door, in view of any passersby and as a result I have had very expensive items stolen.
I was explaining that I was receiving my mail to the teller(Tell) and his response was its Donald Trump fault .Im not into politics and dont like poor customer service people are allowed to do and say anything and still have a job ....SMH
I had a package that says out for delivery I was waiting when I got home from work it was my phone case that was supposed to be in my hands I never got it I had ask the carrier she dont know where it is if yall say it was out for delivery please do it dont have me waiting for it if anything happens to my 2nd case that be in hoping tomorrow Ill be mad its a glass marble case
Terrible service. When I called to check the status of my package the women had a very nasty attitude and they took forever to deliver my package when I only live mins away from the post office 😒😤
Sometimes theyre helpful. The problem is theyre hardly open on time. And they open at 8 a.m. and I came at 9 and they closed up It screws up my hold day when they open late! But the people behind the counter are very helpful!
I have never met a more rude and disrespectful person as I did at this post office on E. 55th in Cleveland, OhioI stood in line and watched... her demeanor was condescending cold... the clerk never greeted customers and only barked at them.... I am sick that these are the kind of people that are hired...If the post office continues to employ such people I would not be surprised if it went completely under.
THIS IS A HORRIBLE LOCATION, THEY CONTINUE TO LEAVE YOUR MAIL EVERYWHERE BUT IN THE MAILBOX, EVERY TIME I HAVE PERSONAL INFORMATION BEING MAILED TO MY HOUSE THE MAILMAN START PLACING THE MAIL ON MY DOOR WHICH LEAVE ME TO BELIEVE THAT HE IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE DRUG USERS THATS IN THE BUILDING I LIVE IN, I HAVE HAD ITEMS STOLE BECAUSE THE LACK OF RESPONSIBILITY OF THIS POSTAL SERVICE LOCATION. MY IDENTIFICATION HAS BEEN STOLEN SEVERAL TIMES. I CONTACTED MANAGEMENT AT THE POSTAL SERVICE, SERVING THIS COMMUNITY SEVERAL TIMES CONCERNING THIS MATTER AND IT STILL OCCURS, WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOUR MAILMEN ILLEGALLY RING YOUR BELL AND LEAVE YOUR MAIL ON YOUR DOOR OPPOSE TO IN THE MAIL ROOM? I DONT LIKE THE SERVICE OR TREATMENT FROM THESE CARRIERS, WHOS FRIENDS WITH YOUR ATTACKERS, BUT YOU HAVE TO LIKE IN ORDER TO POST.
Non existent customer service here. 5 customers standing waiting for an employee to actually work the counter. Can hear numerous people yelling and laughing in the back. Total joke.
TERRRRRIBLE! I had a package that needed to be signed in order to be left. THE MAIL CARRIER signed MY NAME and left my package on the porch!

2022-03-10Normal, good, all is well USPS okay. Slightly understaffed leading to longer wait times however for the most part friendly and knowledgeable and tried to get the job done

2021-09-08I just had an encounter with a Mr Hodges who is a carrier. He was very rude and nasty. He was on a phone call while filling the mailboxes but he and the person he was talking to were very loud. When the Mgmt staff asked him to turn it down he said I can just leave this here and you can do it yourself.

2021-07-15I came in there today and the black window supervisor was extremely rude and disrespectful towards me and even threatened to call the police because I said a swear word. I plan to file a complaint. She needs to lose her damn job. She speaks to people like they are stupid and can’t understand anything. Unacceptable!!!!!!!

2020-05-21I wish I could send less than 1. Your location cant even deliver a package to my apartment and have it held here. How hard is it to deliver at my apartment? You just set the package inside the first door or in the lobby with the mailboxes. I get an email about a delivery attempt made at 12:30 at 4:40. I didnt know there was an attempt. How about better communication?

2018-08-21Well, I would give 0 stars if I could. I was outside my place yesterday (Monday) and I saw the USPS truck do a drive by not stooping at my place or any of the neighbors. My package was supposed to be delivered Saturday. I see the status update on their tracking Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery Location. We attempted to deliver your package at 5:49 pm on August 20, 2018 but could not access the delivery location. We will redeliver on the next business day. Total misinformation. I call the post office and spoke with a women. She checked tracking and said the driver could not find the key to my place and it will be delivered today. 100% lie.I explained her that I was right in front of my place and the van did not even attempt delivery and moreover I dont have any Key for delivery and she goes like can I help you with anything else. It is a perishable that was supposed to be delivered 3 days ago and still getting delivered and the people at the post office do not have any responsibility.

2020-12-15Rude, unprofessional and poor customer service. You would never get this type of service in the suburbs or other states. They are not helping the cause for keeping postal services alive. I will no longer use the USPS, Id rather pay a little more and use FedEx or UPS. Unfortunate that the lack of service further disenfranchises communities of color. Just sad.....

2019-01-24If I did not have to give stars i swear I wouldnt! These people delivered my package WET! The manager did nothing about it, didnt even want to come to the phone to speak with me and claimed that his carrier delivered it without a problem. These people think because they deliver in the neighborhoods they deliver in, its ok to treat us like trash! I then spoke with a representative who did nothing but say they couldnt do anything about it because i didnt have insurance. I really hate this post office and their customer service! They didnt even apologize. I HATE everything about this damn place!

2016-05-19On March 21, 2016 at 2 pm I came into this location for a certified mail delivery. I told the teller that I needed proof of the certified letter. Which is a green confirmation card. I needed that green card to file with probate court. It is proof that my letter was sent. It is for legal purposes. The teller explained I should get it in the mail in a week a few weeks at most depending on when the letter was received and signed for. Today is May 19, 2016 I got a call from the folks who received the certified mail. I asked her why I never got the green card. She explained that is a post office issue. Im glad I kept the receipt because the lady who did my transaction did it incorrectly. She was probably poorly trained because she was very nice. But she never charged me for the green card. Today I was able to get an electronic print off which may or may not be legal. If its not legal Im in danger of losing my property. This is unacceptable. I dont blame the workers. I blame the folks who trained them. I cant get mad at folks if they didnt know the policies.
