United States Postal Service in other cities:
I hate to rag on the post office because I love to use their service, but my experience today, December 10th, 2012, two weeks before Christmas, was unacceptable. There was a line out the door, one person working, and the self postage machine was out of order. Triple whammy. I was one of 3 customers who turned around and left to find another shipping option.
Literally never answer the phone. On top of that the line is always busy and when its not and im wasting my time calling only to be finally left with, not a messaging system like a regular business, but a loud one tone beep that continues until you hang up.Ridiculous.This place isnt even worthy of one star.As for the fake Excellent reviews by Google Users.HA give me a break.Do your job instead of standing around. Yes this time of year is busy compared to your usual Standing Around watching paint dry but the rest of the world manages to work through it I think USPS can too.
At the moment, I wish I could give no stars! I have been waiting on an important package, it gets delivered to the wrong address. Etc. Etc. (Too irritated to write). Right now Im being told that they are looking for my package, as my husband calls and calls, trying to get information.

2022-03-02An old, and bit hidden away, Post Office that has one advantage over other similarly old branches like Norwood - it has a self-service machine. These should be mandatory at each facility.

2021-02-13If you have the ability to go somewhere else, please I’m begging you, do not waste your time or energy. The staff is condescending. The manager apparently made budget cuts for general priority mail labels + tape so you’re forced to go somewhere else or buy it from them. When I went to get my receipt they automatically selected print when I went to go select email (my email address was on file) and then said they’re locked so they can’t undo it.I should’ve just waited until Monday to go to the location by my house. DO NOT GO HERE.

2017-07-30Although there are some negative reviews from about a year ago, it seems like this location has made some changes to fix the issues. The staff members are all nice (not overly gushy so that it seems insincere), and they make an effort to move the line quickly. It seems on average to take less than 2 minutes to move each customer through the line, and thats way better than most post offices!

2020-01-28Best USPS location in Cincinnati. They are open until 6:30 PM, they are staffed appropriately, every postal clerk is courteous, kind and knowledgeable. There are a large number of rental post office boxes available, an automated package postage system, and an excellent supply of Priority Mail and Express Mail shipping containers. If you are masochistic and prefer rude treatment with a healthy wait, try the Walnut Hills USPS on Kemper Road instead.

2018-06-29I really like my post office. People are always friendly and willing to help. I never have had a problem with the personnel. I have been using this post office for over 30 years. Sometimes the lines are long but I dont mind waiting. I am sure most people hate waiting in line because they think their lives are too important to wait.

2016-09-04No place to fill out change of address form, missing details like pens, long lines and few employees. I went on a Thursday afternoon and the line was still slow. It is worth going to a different post office that is further away. You will still save time.Feedback for this post office: hire one or two more for the front desk. Have attached pens where the forms are. Make sure labels for forms match (some of the bins dont match the for ). Put Change of Address form at the tables.

2021-07-08I am not able to connect to a living person at the post office. I need to report that I haven’t gotten my mail recently, and I can’t get through. What is Louis DeJoy doing?

2019-01-31Just met the nicest employee, working a kiosk in the lobby. Saving people the wait in line. Super friendly and helpful, I think his name was Sadrac? Fastest and easiest post office trip I’ve made.

2018-07-17I just moved to this area and my mail was not delivered at all until 2 months after I moved in. Then some of it was sliced into. My Christmas cards came with slices in the envelopes. I tried calling the number to report it but the call wait time was between 1 hour and 9 min.” and 1 hour and 10 min”.

2018-04-28I was here today at 1:27 and was standing by the door getting my cc out of my purse, As I tried to open the door a large man ran over and locked it and pointed to the closed sign. I understand wanting to go home but Ive never seen such poor lazy service in my life. It was exactly 1:29 and I had my cc and packages in my hand.
