If I could give zero stars I would. They constantly deliver the wrong mail to my place and must recently returned a package I ordered because the street address was incorrect but they have delivered plenty of other stuff to the same address listed on the shipping invoice without issue. Please hire competent people that are able to read basic things like shipping labels and street addresses.
This place screws up consistently. Lies about packages. Says they leave notices for pickups when they don’t, always losing or mis-delivering packages. Oh and don’t even think about asking for help with anything, they won’t get off their rear ends to look for anything. Whatever it says on their screen is what it is. No wonder the postal service is losing money.
Friendly helpful staff. No wheelchair access. Funny how that is when all downtown buisneses have to have wheelchair access and handicapped bathrooms. Thus 4stars. Shameful. There is a sign on the drop box at the street to call a number if you are wheelchair bound. I guess they will Come out to serve you.
My issue is not with the staff and/or how Im treated. I am angry about having my sent mail returned to me because the address is not whats in the computer. I recently sent a letter to the Alliance Community Pantry at 215 E. Market Street, Alliance Ohio 66401. It was returned to me even though the pantry is at that address because the Alliance pantry has a P.O.Box. A living human would know that theres an alternative address and would see that it was delivered. This is another reason the PO is in trouble.
The carrier is an idiot! If he’s not tearing off the door of the mailbox and throwing it into the street, he’s leaving it open so all our mail blows into the storm drain ditch behind it! It’s a mailbox, not some mystical device! I’m sick of soaking wet mail! Very poor service which is why the postal service is in such trouble
There’s always an issue every time I have a package delivered by them. If they say your package will be there on a certain day add 4+ days to that, if it even comes at all.
Terrible. Every time I order something it goes to the wrong house and it ends up being a hassle. This is the 4th time it’s happened and I already talked to the mail man but it still continues to happen.
Loses my stuff and lies all the time. I clear my steps of snow and they refuse delivery. They deliver to the East address instead of mine and they are rude about everything. Hate living here and forced to deal with their crap.
Tell my wife that the hold was removed then go in and wait 15 minutes to have another girl tell me that if I dont move my box to the road or get po box our mail will be returned havent received certain bills now just got letter that our payment was late we had no idea this postal service in alliance is a joke if I could give 0 stars i would just a disgrace to the United states

Mail is being delivered to the wrong building at Parkway Manor apartments your mail carriers need to pay attention we used to have a good one wish he could come back
Packages and mail sit there for days on end before they scan them to put them into Transit.
Well Im located at MHS and I just had an awful experience with a fat blond headed girl who was extremely rude. You need to fire her.

2022-04-23I am a weekly customer of the post office. In the past year I’ve seen postal workers retire and not replaced. The workers they have are great but are extremely stressed with long lines and no help. I feel sorry for them.

2018-05-04Judging this particular post office compared to others and not competitors......its okay. Neat historical building and they keep it clean. The employees could have better customer service skills. Seems like they let you stand there for quite a while before even acknowledging you. The postmaster is always glad to help when they have to fetch him or if you call over which Ive now had to do twice. He is knowledgeable and actually seems to care about helping with problems. The 2 times Ive had to come into the place the women working the desk seem to have a better than thou attitude and rarely any answers if you have more than a basic question. Typical for government employees I suppose but still not very desirable from a consumer standpoint.Its mail though..... So opinions dont really matter. You drop it off at any location and youre paying for the behind the scenes work anyways.

2021-08-23I checked my mail and nothing okay guess nothing for today, 15 minutes ago my neighbor knocked on my door and handed me a letter from SSA…why? BECAUSE YOU PUT MY MAIL IN THE WRONG MAIL BOX! I assume your carrier can read? Now I’m sure why I never received an electric bill for 2 months. Pay attention to what you’re doing.

2021-07-15Forced to move mail box to the road due to the postal carrier being afraid. Seems like the staff are not able to perform the duties required and everybody else has to suffer. If you cant handle being a post carrier, just quit, the people dont have time for your nonsense.

2020-06-24Apparently there is specific individual at this post office that doesn’t like dogs. She only delivers our mail on Saturday’s. We have two other reoccurring carriers that say our dogs are dogs. Never complain or worry. The Saturday carrier is not suited for this career and now we have to move our mailbox just to satisfy her.I would recommend the post master actually give a damn and come to our home and show more empathy for the citizens that pay her bills.We moved the mailbox as close to the road as the city allows. You owe us $200 for materials and $150 for labor.

2020-12-29The post office held a package for me yesterday due to dogs in the area and not being able to deliver to my porch. I called and spoke to Cliff a supervisor about it because I currently have COVID and he took the time to personally drive my package over himself and put it on the porch so the mail carrier didnt risk getting attacked and I recieved my package.

2019-03-25Wow! I had the same carrier for years and he was excellent!!! He retired and since then I get these young carriers that just want to collect a pay check! And I had trouble with them walking on the grass and making a path that I had to reseed. Really? Use the walk, thats what its for. I also can absolutely not get my held mail delivered on the day which I want it delivered. Because no one really cares. Whatever happened to pride in what you do? No matter what your station in life, be proud of your work. No one seems to have it anymore. Its sad because this is why our Alliance postoffice has such a very low rating! But sadly, at least for some of the carriers (too many obviously) its true! The people that work inside the post office get the wrap but its not their fault. They couldnt be nicer or more helpful. Kudos to them!!! Its really someone at the top that is at fault for not demanding better service from the carriers. Make them rise to the bar! Dont let them lower it even more.

2016-12-18Exceptionally helpful in getting me my package that I needed delivered that day immediately. Made special exceptions for me, due to my own negligence. Even if you think that you have cleared snow or ice make sure to throw salt down every day!!! It was my fault my package wasnt delivered on time but you have to stop and think these workers are out in those conditions whereas we just have to step outside for a few moments to handle the problem and ensure safety for everyone
