The go to place for buying construction material. I like the helpful people who work with unloading my scrap. I especially recommend buying sheet metal or any metal for your home projects. United lets me look thru the yard and that saves me $ money.
Absolutely love this place. Jeff and his boys are real good down to earth people.
Please post hours. Consider sharing helpful tips and even basic rates maybe. This listing can be better than an old fashion yellow pages display ad... and probably not as expensive...however you need to use it more effectively. Just sharing some advice, no offence intended. Have a better day!
Staff was extremely nice and courteous, willing to have a conversation, of your into it. prices are comparable to other scrap yards if not a bit better.

2022-08-24I have been going to United for at least 25 years. Like his father before him, he can be a little temperamental but always honest and fair. A little more room to move back in the yard would be a beautiful thing, but. . .

2022-05-11Ripped me off. My fault for not knowing better. Owner was rude as he usually is. Told him I had pumps in with my steel scrap. Asked to have them weighed separately. .yelled just go to the scale. Weighed it all together. His guys emptied my truck. Weighed again. Empty. Wont be back

2021-04-21I been to this place quite often and everytime I come he always makes me wait almost an hour no matter if its to pay me or weigh my stuff. I been dealing with customers at my job for a long time and he def doesnt know how to treat his customers right. I went last month and there wasnt no customers there and he threw a fit and started crying because one of his employees wasnt working the crane correctly. Like omg Jeff learn to dont stress to easily

2019-07-04My family and I have been dealing with Jeff and United Salvage family for over 50 years. It is always a pleasure taking a load to them. It never feels like a chore since the staff are beyond hustling to help out. I always know that I am getting a fair price for any load with them!

2021-01-07Best Scrap prices at the present time. Jeff the Owner is a really good guy. What I like about him is hes Real . He has his shortcomings as we all do but Ive seen alot of growth and change in this man over years as he has learned to deal with the constant change associated with the scrap metal industry and puts his heart n soul into his business A+++

2019-05-12Family owned business that has been there forever and Jeff the owner is on a first-name basis with all of the regulars. I also like the fact that they let you purchase things out of the yard and pay by the pound. Supporting small businesses is what is going to make this country great again!

2021-08-03These people are terrible they take your scrap and then they dont want to pay you they let homeless people throw rocks and break peoples windshields. I will go to any other scrap yard then them. They are rude and have bad attitudes.
