Let me start off by saying I’m so sorry someone has ever experienced something bad here…I struggle with sever panic attacks and these doctors are so genuine and make you feel comfortable. Every time I am in (sorry doctor 😂) Dr Giralsi is truly the best. He walks in and doesn’t judge that I’ve been there just two days ago for the same reason. He just walks in with a smile. These type of doctors are the ones that help us in many ways. So I wanted to say thank you, thank you for understanding me.

Ehh. I’ve been here one to many times in the past year. It’s always a long wait and the staff is never overly accommodating or eager to help. I have experienced patients being horrible to nurses though and I know their job isn’t easy.I was at Lake West Emergency room a few weeks ago and the standard of care was amazing compared to UH Geauga.

I took my dad in the day after Thanksgiving and though the wait time was extremely long, he received excellent care. Every person we came in contact with was kind, positive and knowledgeable. Thank you for going above and beyond for my father.

The staff here are amazing. 2 surgery’s done here with Dr. Jacob petrosky who is absolutely AMAZING and so sweet and caring. Whenever I’ve had issues and ended up going to the ER Dr.Mason and Dr.Zimmerman have been so sweet and helpful. The staff here are nice and helpful and really take the time to listen to you and the concerns you have and they go out of their way to help you. Very pleased. Keep up the good work . :)

The emergency room was good to enter.Communication is very poor. I would of had a hose go thru my mouth to my stomach if I did what they wanted on a whim. Thank God I didnt because what they thought was the problem was not. Checking out, The nurse was extremely rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. They would of got at least a two or three stars if the nurse wasnt so rude on the way out. I was told to eat and wait to see how the stomach took the digestion. And then the nurse didnt know that and was very akward at the end.Overall most the staff was polite and helpful. Just got wierd at the end.

Avoid this ER!!! Nurses are extremely rude & unsympathetic. You sit in the waiting area before even being helped by the triage nurse for over an hour. Once you’ve been checked by the triage nurse you sit back in the waiting room for 2 more hours! They do not care about their patients that are in pain & waiting to be seen by a doctor!!!

Was unhappy they didnt put a port in me, instead came in every hour and took blood while I am on blood thinners and a phobia of needles. By the second night I was crying mentally exhausted. Ended up every bruised and sore from all the drawn blood. IV alarm kept going off and I didnt get much sleep. Also before I could get checked into a room they brought me a dinner menu & told me to call it in but I was hooked up to equipment and couldnt reach the phone so I missed dinner and hadnt eaten anything that day because of tests. No one had been in to check on me and I didnt want to use my emergency button for that. My morning nurse was very nice though and took time to explain things to me and went over everything she did. Compassionate and kind. Third morning I got a room mate, an elderly women crying in pain the whole time. Very stressful so I pushed to get released early. Pharmacy rep who came to explain my medications before I checked out was very nice as well.

My husband received excellent care from all the staff especially Paramedics Tom & Lee. Very skilled and kind guys. I would definitely recommend this ER.

Staff was very pleasant and professional. Dr. Piscatelli was very informative and the nurse, Tyler, was extremely helpful. Even the receptionist was very courteous and brought my wife and I beverages because the vending machine was out of order.

My husband was in this hospital and they would go hours before checking on him. Then his dinner came so he never got to finish his dinner, while he was using the restroom and the lady took it.
