I love this place. Ive been living out of one of these for a year now in secret and I couldnt ask for more. Though, the toilet doesnt work. Not their fault, I literally just put a broken toilet on the ground.
Never in my life will I ever go back to this uhaul location. I am disgusted with the poor customer service I’ve received from both the staff and manager. On December 4th I reserved a truck online and picked it up at 4pm. I dropped off the truck right under their orange tent and out the key in the box. The number on the van was DC 1614 T. This location is claiming I never dropped off the truck and that the system is showing I had a different truck starting with a 3 assigned to me. My paper work matched the number on the truck, that’s SOMETHING I ALWAYS CHECK BEFORE PULLING OUT THE PARKING LOT. Now they do not want to refund me my money that’s owed and have been giving me the run around. I even went to the location in person and walked them over to the truck I had used showed them the paper work so they can see, they still refused to give me the deposit that’s owed. Today December 16th I called again because no one has returned my call. And they gave me the same run around and stating that they have been busy. I do not give a damn how busy you guys are. As someone with experience of managing for years, I know that their supervisor could’ve took 20 mins of his time and looked at the cameras instead of giving the me run around like they have. I advised the lady that they have until 2pm tomorrow to call me with a resolution if not I will be at the location tomorrow and I promise you there will be a huge scene that will be caused. I will also assure you file a police report before arriving. I had plans on using this company to move to another state but I will prefer to over pay with another company. I will no longer be a uhaul company. I hope the manager Maurice contacts me tomorrow like they said they would if he doesn’t want to scandal happening at this store tomorrow.
They sold me a hitch receiver that was damaged and missing parts, must have been returned by someone and they just repacked it as new. Then when I returned it the guy was very rude and refused to check his computer to see if other locations had one. Then to top it off they tried refusing the return if I didn’t give them my phone number. Bunch of kids work there and have no idea what they are doing, nor do they have any manners. Don’t waste your time

This specific location is very unprofessional. The front desk people are rude, lazy, and not helpful. If I could rate this location a zero I would. They don’t load any dollies or other equipment you pay extra for prior to you picking up the u-haul vehicle’s so, make sure you you tell them you are missing that before you drive off the lot.
THE WORST PLACE TO RENT FROM. RENTED ME A LEMON THAT WOULDNT LOCK AND WOULDNT REFUND ME! Very unprofessional and could care less about their customers. Go to Budget, Penske or anyone but UHAUL

Rented a couple of storage unit from this facility for about a year. The staff was always very friendly. Scott really impressed us. The only thing that keeps it from getting 5 stars from me is I was consistently picking up screws and nails in the parking lot around both of the units I rented.
Got my u-haul from here forgot the young man name but he was really nice and help ful to me i will definitely go back here again
Ive had occasion to rent trucks from this location twice, and both times Ive been very happy. The vehicles are clean and in good repair. Service is prompt and the staff is professional and courteous. Manager Maurice is knowledgeable and very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to rent moving equipment.
WORST RENTAL CAR SERVICE EVER!!! They can’t get the rental fee clear, rude front desk, ignorant stuff, broken gas gauge, charge extra without explanation when we make changes from one-way to in town rental, horrible customer service who would hang up on people in the middle of conversation or transferring calls, pass the buck around and no one is taking the responsibility to solve the problems! Would never use this company’s product again. Strongly don’t recommend them: they won’t help you solve problems if you ever run into one!
I cane here to rent a truck. The store is clean and they do offer supplies in case you need them. The employees are friendly and they know their business.
My girl and I used the U-Box service to send 5 units from Colorado to Ohio for a job move. It was hard enough searching for a home while wondering what to do with our stuff. The fact we could store what we had until we needed it was an amazing option.The day we came to pick up our U-Box’s, Maurice (the general manager) went out of his way on his day off to ensure we could keep our loading schedule on track by coming to to store to handle the forklift himself. He also accommodated another trailer so we could get everything unloaded in one day, with fewer trips. I’m extremely appreciative of his assistance as well as his staff. Great service all around!
Got the wrong truck. Ended up costing me Triple. So watch that contract. If they can give you something that cost more than they will
I am giving Alease 5 stars for all of her help today over the phone. Not only was she professional and polite- she went out of her way to make sure i got the unit to fit my needs
Not only was the location clean, it was super simple and fast to pick up a scheduled vehicle for personal use. While I wasnt the one who drove said rented van, the driver told me it drove a lot better than what they expected. We rented the 9 Cargo Van. It was more than enough for what we needed to move. Overall, I recommend everyone check out U-Haul the next time they have moving needs.
Didnt have the furniture pads or dolly we asked and paid for. Then had the audacity to charge us $5 for the tiniest bit of missing gas.
Worst management ever. A guy name scoot isn’t aware of what his employee doing and how to explain contract to customer clearly. Long story short he wasn’t as friendly as he should be plus he needs to learn how treat people with respect and dignity. I told him that his employee didn’t explain the contract he responded rudely that I I read it. I can’t give 0 customer services because the guy who helped was very nice and friendly.

Purchased used truck up there from their fleet. Very very impressed with manager there Maurice. Was up there about half hour and watched him non stop run every aspect of that place sometimes taking 2 calls at once while delegating what to do with multiple employees that also came up to him asking questions about stuff. He was non stop multi tasking. That place very lucky to have a guy like him running place. Outstanding work ethic.

If I could I would give them no stars. They canceled on me 5 minutes before my reservation, claiming it was unsafe to drive, but you should have back up trucks for situations like that. No one tried to call around and get me a truck, instead Crissie/cristie told me to come the next day, until my brother called and was told we could get it in the evening. These ladies are competent and professional! I was unable to take my car bike rack off, and they quickly found the tools they needed and got the job done and get my trailer hitched. I have been to many uhauls, and its nice to get service from someone who is good with tools and has mechanical know-how. The were also accommodating of my late drop off time.
Excellent manager, Maurice Hoyett, worked very hard and gave us a good truck and haul equipment for a cross country move. Personally supervised and helped with the hitching process. Cheap , efficient, good service. We had no trouble moving 2500 miles. No complaints.
Very clean and neat. This place has a wide variety of storage spaces. The inside is secured via keycard so its pretty safe and well lit although the lights only light in the hallways on your way to your storage unit. One minor drawback is the lights only stay on for a short time. So if you are in your unit for any length of time, you will be in the dark before you finish. You need to stop what your doing and walk down the hall to trip the light before continuing what your doing such as moving your stuff in.
Received exactly what I reserved, staff was kind and professional. Price was definitely more affordable than other options in town.
I rented a 10ft truck with dolly for pick up the day after thanksgiving. The staff was friendly, efficient and picking it up/ check in was effortless and above all quick! Drop off was even faster i was in and out in no time at all. Billing was exactly what they said it would be. I will absolutely recommend them to anyone else needing these services and would go back to use them in the future in a heartbeat! Happy holiday guys, you have a customer for life!
Came in to get some moving boxes, had to wait a little but it was worth it! They had exactly what I needed, saved me the run around going to grocery stores trying to track down normal sized boxes!!
This facility was clean. You can drive in to unload your car. Friendly staff. Also has handicapped storage units.

We were helping our friend with moving, and when we brought the U-Haul back, they could not resist to cheat us. We got the truck with the tank filled by half, and we refueled the truck and returned it with the tank filled by half, but they asserted that it was slightly more than half, a couple of gallons more and they will change us $9 and if we noticed that the tank was filled by half, we should call someone and let them know. We did not argue with them about these $9 among other expenses, but we will let other people know that this U-Haul franchise cheats costumers and hopefully this review will help them too.
I will never use Uhaul again, since the average person does not rent trucks on a regular basis. I should be able to use the website to return the truck without having to create an account just another way to get extra money, also the extension for the messages they constantly send you is not monitored so they are not getting those messages anyway.
Had to file a report due to loack of knowledgeable employees. I got some certificates!
This uhaul dealer has a responsibility to ensure that the contracts they are asking you to sign are legitimate and factually correct. This didnt happen. I got ripped off at this location. Was charged an extra 50 miles that I didnt drive. I failed to check the mileage before I left which I admit. The issue failed to be resolved and only myself taking responsibility. Both parties involved, manning up and taking responsibility would have been the minimum but this uhaul deal simply stuck it to me. Try a better location...
We ran into hard times and lost everything in our storage facility every single thing birth certificates everything Christmas trees everything we werent able to get the stuff out like I said everybody has hard times and I dont know where all the baby pictures are my wifes baby pictures our whole family history is gone

Uhaul on Brookpark was nice and great customer service.
This location refused to follow state law, that extends drivers licenses until July 1, 2021. I was told that my license was expired even though the Ohio BMV clearly states that it is still valid. And the person who refused to follow state law was rude about how the BMV had now been open for a few months so I could have got it renewed. I tried to tell him I wasnt interested in his opinion as it doesnt expire until July 1st and was irrelevant. Go elsewhere, these guys dont know what they are doing.

2022-03-06Reserved a truck 5 days ahead of time & wasn’t ready when I arrived at the exact time of reservation. A heads up call would have been nice, instead they offered me the size under stating it would be only a foot smaller. It was not it was much smaller & ending up taking me two trips for all my stuff & then I was charged for all the extra mileage. On top of the extra gas I had to put back in the uhaul.

2022-07-13I used a Ubox for my move. The Parma Uhaul facility allowed a couple days to access the Ubox incase I needed to pack more or take something out. I realized the day after the Ubox access deadline that I had packed away something I needed. I drove to the Parma Uhaul location 1 hour before they opened and flagged someone down to ask about accessing my stuff. They allowed me to get my things and even helped with tightening the ropes inside the box. Turns out the nice man that helped us was actually the owners son. The owner showed up shortly after and they were so helpful and accommodating to my needs. Excellent customer service!

2022-02-26I went their to pick up a truck and they told me that they don’t have anything available but there are 8 trucks outside, anyways I made an online pick by mobile and I was able to get it. They have the worst customer service that I ever seen by Uhaul.

2022-06-05Made a reservation they didnt have the vehicle and told me I had to wait for one to become available. The website says the reservation is GUARANTEED. They said Oh the website finesses people Sounds to me like they just sold off my reservation or dont know what they are doing. Either way they wasted my time and I will rent elsewhere from now on.

2022-06-22Caused a problem with my account by not putting in the correct information on my order, making it so I cant add the order to my account online. Every time I call I immediately get put on hold and then they never pick the phone back up.

2021-07-30Went to this store to buy boxes and reserve a truck but witnessed a gentlemen being disrespected by the two young employees behind the counter who basically told the man it was his own fault that a storage unit he RESERVED online was not available because he did not make the reservation in person and they gave it away to someone else who got there first. In the 21st century, a company based on making reservations, according to the employee, will let reserved units get double booked and its just who ever gets there first wins the unit. DOESNT matter you made a reservation and may have driven from who knows where to store your stuff, your unit might not be there when you get there according to the unhelpful employees who would not even accommodate the gentleman in finding another unit at their location or at another location. Again, the computer system apparently cant do that either, or more likely, the lazy employee didnt want to.The lack of any empathy for the mans situation was apparent and the way they treated him for an issue that was in no fault his own was unacceptable. In fact, they almost looked like they enjoyed not helping him(and being from retail when I was young, that is totally a thing). I ended up leaving without my boxes and no reservation because a place like that does not deserve my business.

2021-02-08I find it highly infuriating and unacceptable that I received a non-sanitized U-haul truck from U-Haul Self-Storage of Parma during a global PANDEMIC. My mother and her friend were the ones who drove it across the country for me and I was horrified when they informed me of the state in which they drove over 2,000 miles in. They themselves had to clean it as they drove and found more and more FILTH left through out the cabin. They found a can of opened beans in the glove box, they had to wipe down the inside of the cabin, the windows and dashboard, and there was trash behind the passenger seat. I paid a lot of money to rent the truck, in addition, I paid for safemove, and trusted that it would be SAFE. This company couldnt even be bothered to ensure it was inspected and properly sanitized. I am leaving this review in awe of the carelessness of this company and highly recommend anyone who takes COVID19 and the pandemic seriously, to avoid renting from U-haul.

2019-02-23Kudos to Scott Clark Jr. of U-Haul Parma, Ohio. He not only found me the right trailer for hauling a Motorcycle, but scheduled it purposely before the snow fell...during the time I was in there he was missing a personal family obligation to cover for a sick coworker that didnt make it in to work that day.U-Haul Parma was there for me...ask for Scott! 😊
