We rented a Uhaul to move a fridge. The manager there was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that even though I reserved an appliance dolly online, they did not have one to give me. They were able to give me a standard dolly -- which was helpful(ish) but the reason I reserved an appliance dolly because I needed one to move an appliance.
Literally the worst storage facility I have ever used. I signed a contract that for a facility that was supposed to have to have extended hours and 24 hour service. I tried to go one night after work and they were closed and there was no way to get in. I went a day their office workers were there and they said they hadn’t installed security yet and the extended hours were unavailable! The only time I can go is late at night or on the weekend. I wouldn’t have gotten the unit had I known they wouldn’t be open when I could go. I call about this issue and the manager said there was nothing he could do. Then my husband called on the weekend and they told us they were open until 10 pm. I showed up at 7:05 and they were closed with no way in again! Apparently they added security but there was no way in except with a card which they didn’t provide or tell my husband about. They also made us buy their lock for the unit, we lost the key..our fault and my husband told them that as well and they said they had a specific locksmith to use. So I went to the unit, the office had been right next to the unit. Apparently they moved the office to the other side of the building that has no access to it from that side of the building or the units. So I had to walk all the way around this building to the other side to get the the office for them to tell me there is no locksmith they use I will need to find one. Again we were told the wrong thing! Lastly, I was told Inwiuld get an email for the bill which I never got. So, I was charged a late fee and only knew to pay it because they sent me a late bill email and paper bill. We were in the middle of moving and Incoildnt keep track of anything let alone the billing date which is why I was waiting for the email bill. This was the worst experience I ever had. Completely disorganized and not conducive to actually using it for short term storage.
I was initially going to give them 4 stars, but then one of my references called and asked why she got a U-Haul Invoice for me sent to her? I received one as well stating that my June 3rd payment was not received and it was late. I informed them that I would be out prior to the 3rd. I moved out of the storage area on June 2, 2019. Now you would think before they sent out the invoice with late fees that they would first check to see if the locker was emptied and swept out - which mine was. Cant say the same for when we moved in. They needed to sweep out. In addition, the card that they gave us to get into the building was under someone elses name and each time we entered our unit, the alarm would go off. 24 hour access as long as once you get there at night, you call the Help number and someone gives you codes to put in. That to me is not 24 hour access. The storage units are very very small. We had a round coffee table, 3 piece sectional and rocker recliner - the locker is suppose to hold a 1 bedroom apt. Thank heavens we didnt have anything else cause there was no room for anything else. I asked for a 10x5x5 and I think we literally got a 5x5x10, but since I am only 63 we werent able to stack to the 10 mark. Will never use again!
I wish I could give negative stars. First everything was okay, then once we received the truck it was at a quarter tank. We went back in to tell them, and they did give a supposed 30.00 dollar credit. Had we not noticed who knows what would have happened. When we returned the truck, the said we had went 36 miles, which is impossible. Also, we noticed they didnt honor the 30.00 dollar credit. Now back to the mileage. 36 miles was joke and a half. I even used gps to verify. From the uhaul location to the house we were moving from was 5.5 miles. From that house to the one we moved to was 3.2 miles. From the new house to uhaul was 1.8. Mind you we filled the tank back over what we got it which was on the corner from the new house. 36 miles, I think not. When telling them these facts, they said they would take care of it. All they did was apply the 30 dollar credit which was originally stated. After looking at the final bill they still charged for the 36 miles that we didnt drive. I am beyond disappointed in this company and everything that happened. Needless to say I will not be returning, nor will anyone I know or come in contact with.

2022-07-09It was an overall pleasant experience. The person who rented us the truck was careful to give very clear instructions and patiently provided clarification when asked. It was greatly appreciated to be able to make an informed decision as we went with a larger truck than wed initially thought was needed, which paid off later. Either way, very much felt I got my moneys worth, was treated with respect, knew exactly what I was getting into with no nest surprises or any bull$h!÷ where things were seeing on me with zero warning or my tacit approval. Will definitely return in the future when the time is right as businesses that operate in a straightforward, honest manner and seem to simply do so as if thats just the only way theyd CONSIDER operating are leaps and bounds above even competition with attractive offers on the face of things that turn out to be thieves who dont consist other people as anything but idiots to be exploited.

2022-07-28DONT GO HERE ! You will wait in line forever, if you have issues and call them they will have you on hold for hours. They are super busy and don’t have enough representatives to meet to service customers.I had to stand in line for 30 minsCalled them immediately placed me on hold and waited for 2 hours to speak to someone after the over charged my account!Hate this place will never go there again!

2022-05-29This is our second time coming after hours and our access card is not working. The office is closed and we have our 26 foot truck here and cannot access our storage for our move. I don’t recommend this location. We even called the after hours number and no success. Frustrating because we have to spend another 40cent a mile to bring our uHaul back once they open. And 3 kids at home. Have to pay a babysitter again. 😬

2022-08-05Got the job done in one solid load. Wasnt happy about the half tank instead of full tank policy. Service was friendly and explained any questions I had in full.

2021-08-29I got the truck form this female associate and returned it to the same associate . She is in the attached photo. I drove a total of 10 miles. When I went to fill up the tank I had to put in 6.5 gallons. I explained this to the female worker. I told her that I must not have received the truck on full and she told me it was full when I received it. I told her it was full on The Gas gage. I explained to her on most cars the gas gage needle goes past full so it is tough to tell. She just said we don’t pro rate. I didn’t idle the truck when I had it. I drove the 10 miles but then had to add 6.5 gallons of gas. so I got less than 2 miles a gallon? The math just doesn’t add up. Unless you want to get nickeled and dimed I wouldn’t go to this uhaul.

2022-05-25I picked up 3 U-Haul Boxes on 05/25/2022 going to Redding California and the lady that she was loading the trailer was acting like a 5 years old I was about to refuse the load And also she was yelling and screaming at those construction workers working at the warehouse I believe her name is Gabby Lala she really needs to take some ethic and social behavior classes just shame on your Management.
