Two Men and a Truck in other cities:
Wow wow wow. Our team of movers from 2 Men and a Truck was incredible, actually we had 3 men and a big truck - they were kind, professional, took extra care, and they told us what they were doing every step of the way. Not only did they move the stuff but they understood what made sense - making sure the right items ended up in the right place and taking care not to leave us a mess to untangle. They even brought humor with them with corny moving man jokes. You cant go wrong with this team. Thank you for making an emotional move a delightful time.
Chris, Chuck, and Jeremiah were EXCELLENT! They made my entire moving experience so pleasant . They all were personable. professional and worked so efficiently. The entire Two Men and A Truck from the front office to the actual movers are a GREAT TEAM! Highly recommended!!!!!
They will cost you more, but if you have the money or your company is paying, Two Men and a Truck is the most excellent choice. We had a move that required two large trucks and five men, and that is exactly what they suggested on the phone when I called. Instead of guessing, run around, and uncertainty on moving day, I got clarity, the personnel and logistics I needed, and they started before 8:30 am on the day of the move. I just brought the McDonalds and coffee and handled breakable things in my personal car. Just the best movers Ive ever worked with.
Its not fair to say this necessarily as this was my only experience hiring professional movers, but it seemed expensive. But also, nothing was damaged, everything went quickly and smoothly, and my dad didnt have to throw out his back helping us move a marble top table. Your employees in the field, or at least the three we had, are an incredible asset to your company and I had upmost trust and faith in their work. Robert specifically did a great job managing everything, educating us on the process, and overall delivering great customer service. It may have been a premium price, but I received a premium service.Changed to 4 stars because 3 months later they just blasted my phone and email for reviews.
The two movers sent out were AWESOME, they took great care with some very antique furniture and worked efficiently!! The work these guys do is done well. There was some miscommunication with the billing but overall worked out. It was a bit more pricey then expected but I would recommend. Thanks again
Very hard workers! Very polite and conscientious. They moved me out of a small temporary apartment to a new house AND unloaded a POD. A few dents from moving furniture which THEY pointed out to me. A few days later they sent someone out to fix them. Setting up the appointment was easy and handled by the nicest people. Confirmations sent, no surprise pricing. I would definitely recommend Two Men and a Truck
We used Two Men and a Truck in Brunswick for a move from Oberlin to Brunswick. Our team of three men (Eric, Devine & Jerry) were fantastic! They were professional, knowledgeable and very careful with packing and unpacking our home furnishing. Everything arrived perfectly!I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful team of movers to anyone in need of their services.
Appt setters were very professional, thorough, and helpful because we had to make changes a couple times. When movers arrived they asked if I wanted to spend $75 to get insurance if they broke something. I declined because I thought it was there responsibility to not break it. Movers Deshon and Ken worked hard and efficiently without breaks, took good care of antique items pretty well as far as I can see, however, did not attach one dresser hutch, or put cast iron wheels under an antique dresser, and it is walnut and marble and I cannot lift it. Said they would come back and do it when I called them directly and have not within 3 weeks. They ran into my overhead service electric wires, broke phone line, loosened internet line and didnt tell me. When complete, I gave the movers a $50 tip (which I believe thats why they didnt want to tell me and jeopardize their upcoming tip money), so I have my regrets about that. I had appt with Best Buy to hook up my streaming TV and computers next day and discovered no internet service only after walking outside to feed the birds at 1 pm and seeing they wrapped the down line up and laid it by side door stoop. Had to cancel Best Buy, call cable company and lost 2 days more work, waiting for them to come back and fix it, besides not having internet for awhile. Called to discuss with the movers, they said to call the office. Called office and they put me thru to voicemail secretary Pam, she never returned my call. Called again and they put me through to claims, and they never returned my call in 3 weeks time. Just keep in mind if they DO BREAK SOMETHING, YOU WONT BE ABLE TO GET ANY POST MOVE SERVICES, AND MOVERS WONT TELL YOU THEY BROKE IT.
We used the Brunswick, Ohio location & are beyond pleased we did! The 3 guys we had move us did amazing even with our move taking twice as long as we thought plus it being 90 degrees outside. I believe Brian was the lead guy & he did great! The office staff was prompt as well & everything went smoothly. We would definitely use them again & refer them! Thank you!
Can’t say enough good things about our recent move with Two Men and a Truck! Our first contact was with Katie who really listened and understood our moving needs and fit us into a timeslot that worked perfectly with our busy schedule.Danielle actually came out to our home and looked over what we needed to move and got us all set up with exactly what we needed to be ready with moving day.Moving day went perfect from start to finish. Dakota, Rob and Robert we’re very interesting and made the day much more enjoyable. They made sure to check with US several times throughout the day to see if WE were doing OK and if there was anything extra they could do for us. Everything was delivered in good shape and put exactly where we wanted it.We sat down at the end of the day with them to go over the bill and everything including the price was exactly as quoted. It was fun to get to know them in little conversations throughout the day.We feel very confident in recommending this company for your next moving job whether it’s big or small!
We were very satisfied. They were very careful with a our furniture a d very helpful arranging g it in our new place. We have been trying to reach you so we could give our great movers a tip. Please call me so we can express our gratitude. Judy - move was on January 14 from Columbia Station to Strongsville.
I have moved quite a few times over the years, however Adam and team from Elyria made this move the most smooth. From the time of their arrival until they left our new place, each person was smiling, friendly and really professional. I hate moving but if I had to do it again, I would definitely work with this team and company again. Thank you for a great move!!!
Where do I start. Well the only up side was their ability to do my move within 24hrs notice. Now on to the bad stuff. First, the 2 movers didn’t lay down moving blankets on my hardwood floors. Then they carry more than they should and broke my wife’s irreplaceable music box, given by her Grandma. Ok, accidents happen. Right? Well then I go into one of the bedrooms and open the closet to find another belonging broken and tossed inside, out of view by itself. They tried to hide this from me!! Unacceptable!!! I called the Brunswick office and explained what happened to a manager. She was apologetic and said she would look into it. A week passes and I didn’t hear back. I call again, only to find that nobody had any knowledge of my complaint. I AGAIN...explain the situation and was offered apologies. I paid $511.70 for 3.5hrs of moving. That was unacceptable by my standards. The manager had no idea how to handle this since I declined their ridiculous $120 insurance policy. I mentioned offering me 15% off my final bill in hopes that I would give them another try. You know...customer service 101 kinda stuff. I was finally given that as a solution. I still have broken family items and a bad taste of this company on my mind. I would never recommend them to anyone I know. Call Blue Men Movers. Hope this helps.
I hired Two Men and a Truck to move from an apartment to my new home, and it was an incredibly upsetting experience. They suggested 3 movers and one truck, which I was fine with. Looking back now, I dont know that 3 movers was absolutely necessary. They seemed very slow, would often check their phones on the clock, one was even smoking, and did not pack my things with as much care as previous movers have. I asked that they pack my entire apartment, and they completely neglected a coat closet, a linen closet, and both bathrooms that I later had to pack myself. When they started moving things into my brand new home is when things really went downhill. They put scrapes and dents all over the walls when moving furniture upstairs. The one mover was bleeding, got spots of blood on the wall. They broke the trim on my dresser, so they said they had to take the dresser back with them in order to fix it (which Im told could take months). And on top of that, they put another dent in the wall when taking the dresser back downstairs. I paid $1800 for scrapes and dents in my walls, a broken dresser, and a broken storage ottoman. Biggest waste of money ever.
We moved a 5200 sq ft home (3600+ sq ft plus a walkout finished basement) in two stages with two men and a truck. On day one we moved some stuff into temporary housing. On day two we moved the remaining contents into storage. We have alot of very heavy, large furniture. The guys were amazing! They took everything apart and set it up in the new place. They marked the pieces, screws and bolts etc and fixed them to the furniture that needed to be disasssembled. The care they took to wrap our items so nothing was damaged is just their standard practice Im told. We have used several other moving companies over the years-national moving companies moving from one state to another and small local movers and this move was by far the smoothest and easiest. Not a single scratch on anything! Not one item broken...and no damage to our wall when they were going in and out with all the stuff...and I cant even speak to tell you how these guys packed our storage units! The two (I was told we would need 3) storage units were packed like a puzzle! No space wasted at all! Somehow they fit more than half the truckload into the first unit! Amazing! Thanks Two men and a Truck! As a Realtor Ill be recommending you to all my clients and coworkers!~We used the Brunswick Ohio location.
Have used them in the past and if needed will use them again. My team and the office staff were some of the most enjoyable people to work with while being very professional at the same time. It was nice to feel comfortable while my possessions were being moved. They may only be of value to me but they kept them safe. Would recommend them every day
I had an emergency and confidential move. I called on a Saturday and was scheduled for Monday. The office handled everything for me discreetly, only speaking with others on my behalf that had the password. 2 movers arrived in an unmarked van to help me pack and take furniture apart. A couple hours later, 2 more movers came with the truck, parked on another street, and helped finish packing before they brought the truck to the house to start loading. They went along with everything I asked, making an extremely stressful situation much easier than I anticipated, all thanks to Deon Bailey and his crew!
Came on time as scheduled, , highly motivated, friendly very helpful!! I had been warned by a friend that used another company... sometimes movers move slowly to pad the bill so you have to pay more for extra hour.... I had exactly the opposite experience !!! this was very fast and efficient service! Highly recommend Devine n Willy thanks!! Good hustle and all receive in perfect condition 😜
With all the professional efforts and the polite and respectful works from Adam, Chuck and Brandon were outstanding. Those guys were awesome in handling my stuff, well wrapped with the coverings included. They worked with a great pace. And with those three guys, instead of only two guys gave me half the time than I thought it would take. Seriously! I wish they would at least take a time-out; maybe a lunch break.Ive been in the culinary management at The Cabin Club for years. And with the tasks of P & L, I would hire those guys in a heart beat. ANd this work was done one week ago from today; January 17.My word of mouth is a great way of advertising for you guys. And thank you for all you do.Danny Ezell
The guys were nice and appeared to work hard; however, several things stood out as part of an overall lower than expected experience.1: Phone estimation of 8 hrs with 3 guys and less than one truck after going over entire inventory of home room by room for 10 mins. Actual in home estimate not done b/c no one at the company was available weeknights at 6 pm or later. Actual move was 15 hrs (2 full truckloads) with a 4th guy called in to help for the last 4 hours. Company accused us of changing the contents of the move when pressed about this gross underestimation. Actually, I moved 3 of 4 TVs, a patio set, a treadmill, a dryer, etc. by myself that was listed in the original phone discussion inventory.2: Stacked boxes/bins so tight in basement of new house that the critical areas of the basement could not be accessed. This includes the fuse box, water shutoff controls, sump pump area, etc. 80% of huge unfinished basement left with no boxes? Seemed like a rookie move by the team. Common sense should have prevailed here.3: Several items and boxes that were clearly marked as to where to go in the new house were simply dumped on the main level, even if labeled otherwise. Very frustrating.4: So many misc items were left in the old house that I had to make four trips the next day (4 full SUV loads of items).5: Lost bolts/screws of my sons bed and left guest bed apart (no explanation as to why). Days later the manager came out and finally put my sons bed together, even though it was promised the next day.My advice would be to get several in-home quotes from Two Mens competitors. I was expecting some % of a refund for this poor experience, but it is now 4-5 days later and I have heard nothing from management in regards to what can be done for us. The manager that fixed my sons bed offered to help me move boxes to a better location in the basement, but I was sick that day and had to leave to pickup my son anyway so I politely declined.
I was told I had to vacate my apartment in a hurry and I heard good things about 2 men so I called and talked to a woman named Alicia who said she felt horrible about my situation and spoke to me at length about everything in life then finally told me a price and i was comfortable with it. So I packed and boxed everything and placed it by the door and waited she said 1:30 they were like 2 hours late and it took the 2 kids 3 and a half hours to carry 18 boxes down a flight of stairs with me telling them I cant afford an all day affair so I started doing a lot of the work myself and I have MS a horrible disease so when it was all over I did a ton of work and they charged me 200 dollars over the quote. CRIMINALS.
Overall, this company has been very difficult to work with. We were estimated incorrectly and when we tried to call and come to a deal regarding valuation, the receptionist was very unprofessional and rude. Our bed was damaged, we filed a complaint, hadnt heard anything back, and were told again today (upon us calling) that someone would call us. We were also told that we would need to bring the damaged bed to them to fix. There is no way we are bringing something that was damaged BY them TO them to fix. We keep getting the run around and are extremely upset with this company. We will not be recommending them to anyone . For what we spent, how much we had to move ourselves, and the damage that was caused, youd think a big name company like this one would at least give us a call back to remedy the situation.
Guys were quite professional. took care of my furniture and extra care of my grandmothers knick knack cabinet. they didnt play around. they meant business. had me loaded and unloaded in roughly 2 hrs. even took a sectional out to my daughter, who lives roughly 45mins away from me. these guys are totally worth the $ and will definitely use them again in the future.
The guys I had did an absolute awesome job. They were on time, polite and very helpful. They constantly asked if there was anything more that they could do to help. It was also apparent that they knew exactly how to pack items which made the whole process that much faster.
First off ,we can say the two guys doing the work , work hard and nonstop, our issue is the very high cost for what was really i contents of 1 room move .so the issue is not with the guys that did the work but the way the company tells them to come wrap everything in blankets , yet we the customer do not know this at all until first 1/2 hour goes by and nothing has been takent o truck yet so i go in to see why and they had been wrapping things in blankets . and wowould have wrapped everything had i not stopped them .i can see this is management telling them to do this to protect everything.i have always moved myself and many times over the years ,this should have been hour loading and hour unloading both places, plus we added extra hour just for travel and any things that may come up, so for a 3 hour job 390.dollars plus. ended up being 680 plus .a week before i had every thing packed , furniture edges taped , moveable parts taped , and everything in living room stacked by the door ready to go. so i dont want or need things to be wrapped in blankets when they get here i just needed things to be carried to truck and off truck.this is VERY IMPORTANT THE PEOPLE setting the appointment need to tell you up front not leave us to discover that during ourt ime on the clock.just soo thers are aware and not getting price shocked when the time comes .again i have moved my entire home with just myself and a 2 wheel dolly , with exception of a huge fishtank was only thing i need help with , i moved all appliances furniture etc. i know how long it takes and had everything ready to go by the door . if i had known and beed TOLD BY THE LADY WHO MAKES APPOINTMENTS , they would come in and rewrap things i wouldnt have them do the job this was just a small move i cant imagine a whole house move . again workers did fine they just do what they think or management tells them and wrapped some things we didnt even care about of cheap particle wood , was a huge waste of our time and money . we will not use two men and a truck again and tell/warn others of the hidden time waste and costs.
What would have taken me and an unwilling friend over an hour, took them only minutes. They made an in-house furniture shuffle look like a cakewalk. They saved me time, marred walls, frayed nerves, and sore muscles. Thank you, for your professionalism, and enthusiasm!

2022-03-01The two gentlemen that moved my stuff were quick and efficient! They took gentle care of my furniture and wrapped everything with moving blankets! Interacting with office staff was great as well! It was very affordable and totally worth it! I would highly recommend to family and friends! This is the second time I’ve used this company!

2022-08-20Think before you hire them. I am a 69 year old recent widow. The movers made a stop between moving from my storage and my home. $35 thousand in jewelry and $5 thousand in ammunition missing. It went on the truck but did not arrive at my home. The unmarked boxes it was in they were told to leave in storage. They also damaged furniture, walls an trim as well as my floors. The local office and corporate office hang up on me. I finally went in person on 8-19-22 in person to the Elyria office. They said that they will check into things and get back to me by Tuesday. Well see! My wedding rings and my husbands wedding ring was in the stolen jewelry. It was a lifetime collection. Two of the four movers quit two men an a truck within days of my filing a sheriffs report, I was told. They cannot be located.

2022-08-12They over booked and canceled my move the day before via text message! I’d think when people Have taken time off work and packed their entire life up canceling the day before would merit an actual conversation. The first two text messages didn’t offer an apology just to move the date or cancel. I canceled then received a sorry text. They entire experience was very unprofessional.

2022-08-03No showed, rescheduled hours later....No discount....No reimbursement...No communication.I used this company to move my grandmothers piano 3 weeks ago. During the scheduling process they were incredibly helpful and friendly (moving a piano is very expensive so of course they were - they wanted the business). I requested the earliest appointment because I had a late morning appointment in the area so they put me in first, 8am - 10am. On the day of the move I had to drop children off at camp early (which costs extra money), and drive 40 min to the house where the piano was at, only to have the company call me at 7:55am to inform me the movers didnt show up to work and would be to me around 10am. I explained that couldnt work due to my other appt. She said they couldnt get to me until after 1pm then, which I begrudgingly agreed to. I was annoyed and explained that the house with the piano was under contract (sold) so it was bare of most furnishings with nothing (no food/drinks, no tv/wifi, etc) and it didnt make sense for me to drive all the way back home to turn around and come back for my other appt in that area. All very frustrating, especially with having to drop kids off early, so I asked for 10% of the cost ($81, off the $810 to move the piano). She said she would put it on the bill for the manager to see. When the movers finally showed up they were actually wonderful - very thoughtful and kind with moving a precious family heirloom. Upon leaving however, the one mover sliced his finger open so they hurried to leave. I paid with credit card on an iPad that I could barely see in the sunlight and hurried through it because the man was bleeding pretty badly. I still tipped the men tho because they were good.Later I got my bill of sale via email and realized the 10% was not taken off - they charged me the full price. It is now three weeks later and Ive made multiple phone calls, left multiple voicemails and even responded to their Howd we do? email yet no one will respond to me.I know things are hard and strange right now with employment everywhere, but I am beside myself with how kind these people were at first and then did a 180 after they took my money - providing horrible customer service and not refunding a simple 10% when they and their workers screwed up. I will never use this company ever again even if they are the cheapest in town.

2021-11-30Jesse P, James J, and John K out of the Brunswick location recently moved me on November 26th. They got my apartment unloaded and reloaded into my new location in under 3hrs! They hustled and worked very well as a team. They were careful with my belongings and truly made this moving experience a little less stressful. They were friendly and communicated well during this process. I will strongly recommend this company to my friends and family in the future! Thank you again guys!

2021-03-05On Wednesday, the Two men and a Truck moved items inside my house and into the garage or basement. I asked for three guys to help move. They showed up on time and were the nicest and well mannered guys I’ve met! They listened to me and took wonderful care of my stuff. From the time I called to set up my appointment for the move; even the lady on the phone was nice too. Everyone communicates and emails me too. I would highly recommend them for your move. I have had others movers move me and these guys have been the best. Thank you Two Men and a Truck!

2021-01-04DONT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Damaged furniture, walls and molding dented. When they attempted to move the refrigerator out the front door it wasnt measured properly, the only way to get it out was to kick and push it out the door. Over $500.00 to fix the refrigerator they offered my $160.00. Because i didnt pay for extra insurance they wont cover the full repair. I was told they arent responsible to pay the full amount because i didnt get the insurance. This wasnt any accident. Corporate said they wont do any more than the local branch. Dont waste your money.

2019-12-05My Mother-in-law moved to assisted living home, and they told us to use 2 Men and a Truck. We did and were very pleased, from the time I set the appointment, I was explained everything and how things would be handled. The gentlemen called and said they were 45 minutes out, that got them there right on time, there were 3 men and they were real friendly, explained what the were going to do. Had the truck loaded and on the way within 30 minutes. We met up with them for the drop off, they were again, friendly and fast delivery, and they took their materials back with them even the wrap that was used. We would recommend. 😊

2021-01-24I moved on a Thursday and noticed damage to furniture and walls over the weekend. I called Monday morning and was told I would hear back from them no later than Wednesday. I also emailed the pictures that they asked for. I didn’t hear back so I called the next Monday and was told I’d hear back by Friday. Again I heard nothing so I called again the next Monday and was told I would receive a call that same day. I got no call. I sent an email and got no response. So I called corporate and their representative told me that she would reach out to them and if I didn’t get a call within 2 days to call her back. I got no call, so I let her know. I finally got a call from someone from the location (at this point over 1 month after my first call to them). She asked me to email her photos of the damage and she would call me back with information about repairs. I sent the photos again, but I never got a call and again called the corporate representative. On the call she connected me to someone directly to the location. She said they didn’t have the information in front of her and would call me back in 15 minutes, and confirmed my phone number. No call back. So again I called corporate. Then I finally got a call from the manager offering a refund to my credit card which I accepted. Only that refund never came, so once I again I had to call and ask for it before finally receiving it more than 2 months after moving. So in total I had to initiate 4 calls to the location directly and 4 calls to corporate before getting any resolution. I understand that in a move things may get damaged, but to ignore me was totally unacceptable. I will not be using this company in the future and I would not recommend them.

2019-02-21I had a team of three move my furniture. They were friendly, courteous, and professional. They took such good care of wrapping my furniture so I didnt have to worry about drawers sliding out or doors banging open/shut. At the new home they placed everything exactly where I wanted, unwrapped and cleaned up. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them!
