The people were friendly,our waitress was great the food was excellent. Our waitress Desiree was fantastic she kept our drinks full and checked on us everytime she walked by to see if we needed anything.
They didnt give us salsa or chips but they gave it to others. We had to ask for it while everyone had it ce with their drinks. There were flies in the air, landing on our food. The bathroom smelled rancid and the toilets definitely hadnt been cleaned in a while. Some of the food like guacamole and lime looked and/or tasted old (very brown).
Got the Steak and chicken fajita . Let’s just say I’ll never be back …. They put a pile and I do mean pile of veggies with lil to no meat …… for 18.00 …. What a waste of money . Hubby got strimp nothing special abt it tasted like it was out the store and cooked no flavor . Waitress was nice tho african American one Thank u ☺️
I showed up and parked in the spot for online orders. I called and they said they’d be out soon(I’m a very patient person and showed up when they said the order would be ready) 30 minutes goes by after I’m watching multiple employees come out to their vehicles smoking cigarettes, E cigarettes and even one couple consoling one another because one was crying. I then called after 30 minutes of sitting there asking the status of my food and within 10 seconds someone came out with my food. When I say I never leave feedback, I NEVER leave feedback/reviews because I have better things to do but I felt like I needed to say something here.
I would not go there. Service is bad. Usually as soon as you go and sit down at your table you get salsa and tortilla chips. But we had ask for it right before our food. When we were done with our food, our server brought us our receipt and we put money on the table she took it and didnt ever ask if we need and go box.
First and last time eating at this Tumbleweeds. Horrible service. Horrible food. I ordered a medium well steak and there was blood on the plate when they brought it. Gross! Sent it back...still red juice on plate. I will never go back.
My god. The only saving grace was the taste of the food. Service was slow. Food took over an hour to come out. Finally got the check and of course it wasn’t correct. Hopefully things get better here.
Great atmosphere, the burgers are huge and delicious.
Had late lunch there, no problems....the AC was way too cold the day we went with friends, Im hot blooded and was chilled...otherwise no problems would eat there again

It looked super busy, always a good sign. We decided to try it out before we left town. My pulled pork sandwich didnt have much pork, was very dry and the fries were stale. My husbands burrito on the other hand was big and delicious. The waitress did her job, but didnt really try to be personable. Im very torn about this place, depends on your preferences I guess.
Love this place! Great location with plenty of parking. Hostess greeted and seated us immediately at our own preference of where we wanted to sit which was nice. The staff and waitresses were friendly, polite, fast and and all around little worker bees. The employees were festively dressed up for christmas as well as the restaurant decorated which led to a very cozy family oriented atmosphere. Oh and did I mention the food was a full on 5 stars....BEST STEAKS compliments to the chef. Definitely recommend!
My wife phoned in pick up order at 6:50 which took 10 minutes to place. Was told it would be ready at 7:30. When we pulled in lot she called and was told they would get it out when they could get out to us. We have been waiting for20 minutes. In that time we have seen 3 or 4 employees step out back for a smoke break. DO YOUR JOB and TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMErRS FIRST. After all it was us that kept you in business at the beginning of COVID. I can hope the long wait we endured the food will still be good.
Bartender and Bar Guests were all very friendly, this really helped make the atmosphere. Food and drinks came out quick, despite being a busy Saturday night.
Got the chimichanga, rice, beans. Server was excellent, kind, prompt. Food was almost cold. Not microwaved long enough, or sat to long after cooking. Taste was alright, but the portion and the quality was not worth $13+.
Upon arrival, 3 female employees were out front on benches by the front door smoking. I made a comment to my friend that it seems they should have a more private break area. Food was good but waitress seemed distracted.
Steaks not cooked properly.Antler chandelier needs some major cleaning. Was hoping that no dust bunnies fell into the food. Waitress was great.
Its a hit and miss every time I go to TW.We usually sit at the bar and it seems that some bar tenders need a bit more training . They are never rude but lack of knowledge in how to promote or up sale different drinks and specials .The food is ok
Steaks where grisly, unfavorful, and cut incorrectly. Sent one back twice for being undercooked, and we are perfectly ok with medium rare so that should tell you something. Was not impressed and will likely not go back.

Slow, waitstaff needs better training. The fried food had obviously been sitting for several hours and I had mushy croutons and fries. The greens were lackluster and the chicken was dry, and the table next to us was left a mess during the entirety of our visit.
I grew up around Tumbleweeds in Louisville and always had a soft spot in my heart for them. Years ago they kind of fell off and I havent been in over a decade. When I stumbled across the neon glow of this Tumbleweed in Zanesville, I immediately decided this was where we were eating that night. I just want to say that I was blown away with the quality of customer service and skill at this location. The food was the best Ive ever had from a tumbleweed and the wait staff was a well oiled machine that met my every need. Every time I pass through Zanesville moving forward, Im going to have a meal at this great place.

Bathrooms were terribly dirty. Food was not very good. This place has gone down hill and needs to make some changes. I will not be returning.

This was the worst meal I have ever had ! Ever. Ordered food to go,we only live five minutes away and the food was cold. The fries were old and cold and been microwaved before we picked them up. This restaurant is a waste of time and money. It deserves a zero! Dont go there
Tumbleweeds is what you are going to see waiting for service. I have been sitting at the bar for 15 minutes and the bartender has yet to even say a word. We tried to get a table the hostess was the rudest person ever. After 20 minutes of no one even acknowledging us at the bar we gave up and left.
Waitress was so very nice. The steak was raw and was ordered medium. Taken back and cooked more but potatoes were cold by then. They made it right by taking the steak off the bill. Hopefully better next time.
Not amazing food and a small selection of beers (bud light type of beer). The only thing going on is their margaritas.
We are regulars every Friday to this location. My hubby and I have date day there. We absolutely love the girls who service the booths by the bar. Always fantastic service!

Service was lacking. Took forever and a day to get our food. Our meals were terrible. Chicken and Steak Fajitas left alot to be desired, Steak was absolutely terrible. They give you a pile of onions and not much meat. Enchiladas were like rubber. Beans were very dry. Seats in booths are very uncomfortable and worn out. This place is in need of updating. We do not plan on going back.
Salty salty salty salt! Im a traveler, service was good, speed and attention was medium fine, attitudes were awesome and friendly. Food for traveling, table side guacamole was perfect, whole food and fresh, actually!! Ordered a burger patty to stay healthy on the road and it was sooooooo salty, I put it in its own category. Burgers are inherently unseasoned or lightly seasoned. I ate half, soooo hungry, and got my sodium for the next three days. The table chips had the least sodium! (Table gauc and chips were really great!)

The past 5 times Ive ate there I had the white bean chili w/ avocado and cornbread.. Its one of the cheaper dishes. The beans are always fully cooked and not gassy. A nice protein boost to finish the day of work.
Today was my first visit to this location, and the service was incredible! Our waitress was polite, patient, and very professional. She was attentive but not overbearing. No wait as we visited off peak during the afternoon and were seated quickly. The food arrived timely and was delicious! Really liked the atmosphere of this restaurant. It was also very spacious and clean. Excellent menu selection and prices are comparable to other restaurants in the vicinity. Highly recommend!

Cold queso, dirty tables, over cooked food and poor service.Wait staff is friendly but provide terrible service. Waitress stopped to check on me multiple times before remembering to bring out my queso. Once I received the queso it was cold.Waitress kept trying to take a break in the middle of my dinner. I had to remind this same waitress that I wanted to pay my bill.The restaurant was not busy either.
Bourbon pork chops, delightful a big meal for a small price. Great wait staff, very accomodating. Youll not be disappointed.
We got there about an hour before close. They were not very busy. We went to Lonestar down the street but they had an 80 minute wait time. So we go in and sit down right away. Every step of the process to about ten minutes longer than it should have. The waitress was very nice, but she kept getting told to do closing duties instead of waiting on us?! Food came out cold. Got the wrong drink, they brought the right drink but then charged us for both. The food was bland, and over salted, not sure how that works. Ended up getting out of there about 20 minutes after close. Will never go back, or go to any other Tumbleweeds. We now know why the other steakhouse had over an hour wait. Feel very bad for the waitress, she was kind, and pretty good, just had her doing to much closing stuff before they were closed.
Everything was excellent. Only problem was needed a bigger plate for the chicken burrito deluxe. Best burrito Ive had.

Long wait, but very good food and excellent service. Six ounce sirloin ordered Medium rare x2, both more medium. Bacon cheddar burger very good flavor, love those croutons on the salads! Top off with Sam Adams seasonal- nice 🙂.
Shared dinner with my brother and sister in law, we had a very friendly, attentive waitress, and as always, a great meal. Theres not much to say really, I youve been to Tumbleweed you know what to expect. Never been here and not had a good experience.
The staff was nice, but the food is mediocre at best. The salsa that is served free resembled Pace, but had way less flavor, more like tomato sauce. It was free so I have no room to complain. The rest of the food was edible, but nothing to write home about.
Went to the Weed for New Years (Zanesville Oh,) Outstanding service from the Bar area, amazing food and drinks..
Service was friendly, good food, I had the pork chop with vegetables and soup. Beer selection was limited on tap, though the grapefruit IPA was very refreshing. Would visit again.

Give it more stars if i could! The steak was tender and so delicious! The white cheddar mashed potatoes were amazing the grilled veggies were wonderful and the coffee was.....well the coffee was extraordinary! The service was so wonderful the place closes at 10:00p.m and we was not able to get there until 9:35 and they treated us like we were the first customers of the day. Our waiter was a wonderful young man! He was kind courteous and very friendly and very good at his job! Will most definitely return to this establishment!
Came during the lunch hour and was seated quickly and dining was perfectly paced. Side salad came out fresh with onions, tomato and trimmings. Beautifully presented with Bleu Cheese dressing and fresh croutons. Received chips and salsa to munch on. Ribeye Steak came out cooked to order with onion straws. Excellent flavor from the grill! Great service from Carla and a reasonable check.
Menu is more day verse than average Mexican or texmex place. Staff remained masked even though patrons largely didnt. (Ohio no longer requires.)Fried chicken salad had a unique crouton and was overall quite yummy. Chicken chimichanga was also good.Great service and dining area was quite clean.
The staff is hard working, but the restaurant is falling apart. We walked in and the restaurant was cloudy with kitchen smoke. We ordered an appetizer because we were unsure of the quality and cleanliness. We didnt order anything else.

I am an avid babyback rib eater and this place has the best around as far as Im concerned. I had the honey chipotle sauce and it had just the right amount of heat for me. I do my own ribs often and these are better than some of mine... Lol.... But yeah, highly recommend this place 😋😋

I love their steak. Always seasoned and cooked perfectly. The jalapeno cornbread croutons on the salad are amazing. Love everything I have tried so far and service is really good as well. This is a regular place we go to eat out.

My family and I all enjoyed this restaurants dishes! The staff was very friendly and super fast to take our order and bring out the food for takeout. I do think it would have been nice if they answered the phone when we called to place our order saving us from having to walk over there luckily we were only a block away! But in that heat it felt like a mile.

I don’t usually leave reviews but hopefully I can save someone else the disappoint. I ordered a 20oz porterhouse med-rare. It came out rare borderline raw. I will usually stuff down any steak but it was truly rare/raw. Asked politely if it could be brought up to med-rare. Btw staff was very polite and attentive. My waitress was very good.... anyway it came back out med/med-well. That med-rare can be hard to get for an inexperienced cook but it’s their porterhouse steak. In a steak house. They should have that mastered. Anyway just go across the street to red lobster. I think it’ll be a better experience.Ps I feel I should edit this. As I was writing the original review I had been waiting to check out. Completely I waited approximately 15-20 for a one person check. I’m not quite sure what happened but my waitress never returned... another waitress saw my frustration and kindly checked me out. Other than her kind actions it was a really bad day experience.
Our waitress was great she got our drink order and salads. We watched 2 tables after us get there dinners to be told they were working on ours. Asked to speak to the manager Kim came out said our order had just been rang in 10 minutes ago we had now been waiting 40 minutes as we tried to explain she walked away and went back to the kitchen. Told out waitress to cancel our meals and give us our check she told us it was taken care of we tipped her 20.00 because she was great but the manager lost our business due to her attitude. She probably thinks no big deal but my husband eat there for 4 months every night when we were relocating back here.

Nice restaurant clean well maintained, has a nice décor with longhead mount above a burning fireplace. We stopped in mid afternoon about 12 customers, there was nobody to seat you while we stood there another couple came and had to wait. Once seated the waitress came and quickly took our drink order, came back with drinks and took our order for meals. The waitress did a great job keeping our drinks filled and checking on us. Once we told her we were needed our check it took 10 minutes to get our check and for her to get our receipt this is the third time it has taken so long to be able to leave. I wish they would pay more attention to seating and end of service. Sign on front door says the use door dash for delivery.

Fries were good. Their salsa for their chips has more of a ketchup texture. The chips were good but salsa is not very good. I ordered the mini cheese burgers well done and they came out red. Would try again but not anytime soon.

My husband and I visited your restaurant on a very rare night out. It was a terrible experience and we will never be back. We were made to wait along with many others while clean tables sat empty. We waited 40 minutes for our food and only were served after I asked about the status of our order. My husbands meal was tasty and good. My meal, however, was luke warm at best (I ordered fajitas...they should have been sizzling). During our time spent at this establishment numerous people chose to leave before being seated due to the unnecessary wait. There was never a manager visible checking on patrons. The whole experience was undesirable.
Had a great time at Tumbleweeds with my adult son and daughter. Our food was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable and everything was very clean. Our server had a kind, caring tone to his voice. He was patient with our inability to choose what we wanted and he has a professionalism about him that told us that we were in good hands.
Bad experience order was all messed up .the place wasnt busy .waitress didnt seem knowledgeable about the menu .and who buses a table while people are still talking and boxing up there leftovers and ordered a medium ribeyes steak got a raw sirlion bad service just horrible
The staff is lovely but the fajita wrap was pretty terrible. We usually have good meals there but I cant say Id recommend that wrap. Also charged for kids meals (2) on Kids eat free Sunday yesterday. My MIL didnt want to bring it up.
Great dining experience. Our male server was totally on top of things and the food was awesome...really hit the spot. I had a half rack of ribs and I almost ate my fingers after I was done with the food! I also loved the way the restaurant was decorated. Definitely had that southern charm which accentuated the western dining experience. Give Tumbleweed a try. From my perspective, you will Not be disappointed :-)
It was super packed but since I only had a party of 2 we got in very quick, waitress was very nice and attentive. We got our food fairly quick for how packed it was and it tasted awesome. It was our first time coming here and it sure wont be the last(:

Overall the food was not bad. The positive: The wait staff were very good at keeping up with refills, getting our appetizers out as soon as possible and they were very freindly. The negatives: Dont order the veggie side unless you really enjoy your vegetables underseasoned, and barely cooked. They were very busy today so the wait time to get our food was long, but they were very apologetic and offered us a discount. While this restaurant is not my favorite, I would come here to eat again.

Great food and cold beer! Its one of the only places around that has hot salsa that actually has some heat to it. The borritos are the size a small goats. They are good, especially with queso on top (borritos, not the goats). The only thing that sucks is that I get so full from the borrito, I cant drink more beer.
In the past always pretty good. The staff tries but you can tell management no longer cares. Longer and longer waits because the kitchen is often backed up. They dont have more patrons so its quite obviously poor management. Texas roadhouse will open soon and then sadly another empty building.
I absolutely love this place, food is always amazing and the service is great and their apricot salsa i tried for the first time a few weeks ago and oh my gosh its delicious
Great food and fun atmosphere for everyone. They have a bar for those that want to drink and relax with friends. Service is awesome, they serve salsa and chips while you wait for your food. My daughter loves coming here and she is only 9.
The ribs were the focus of our visit, several local friends had indicated that the management was new and the food and service improved. A visit during a December hunting trip two years ago had left us to vow never to return. The service was improved, our server did a great job. The ribs, were certainly improved and although not great were good. Changed my mind on Tumbleweed.
Great variety, good value and very tasty
I had never been and now I will seek them out. Great staff. Clean. Great decor. Fantastic pulled pork. To die for mashed potatoes. And my side salad was dang near an entree size with ample bacon and cheese. My fovorites
It is fine. Salsa was terrible. But everything else was fine. Salads were mostly iceberg lettuce but service was great.
Took my family there for dinner had a great server Jaz but our food literally took 45 minutes to get to the table. My husbands steak was cold and mine was overcooked severely. By the time we received our food and seen our meal I was to angered to eat. No visit from the manager to check on us since we complained so we paid our bill and rolled out. We will not be back. Sad thing is this was one of our favorite places to go eat but no more. Highly DONT recommend!!
We ordered from the lunch menu and the prices on the menu were $8.99 for the slider meal and $7.99 for the taco salad meal. When I asked about it our server said it was her fault but said her manager said they changed the prices although on the menu it said one price but charged us a different price. I am really not happy with our experience. If youve changed prices then they should be on the menu not a surprise on the [email protected]

Food was good albeit a little slow and cool when delivered to the table. Wait staff was excellent. Good adherence to new COVID rules, but mask use could be a little more diligent.
Shared a 14 oz rib eye dinner with my sister. 7 oz of fat and gristle, baked sweet potato was burned on bottom. When mentioned steak to waitress, she said that is what you get when you order that cut of meat. I guess she does not know the difference between marbling and fat. Margaritas & chips and salsa were good. Service and atmosphere was good
Average experience bad interactions with our host. No offer to see dessert menu felt rushed to pay. Small things we asked for should have been provided. Cant say that i will return here too many other places to try. Olive garden wouldve been a better option. On a lighter note we still tipped i wont put our waitress on blast. My steak was ok a bit on the small side. Mashed potatoes lacked evidence of white cheddar. Chili Con Queso took forever and was cold. With our server being so dense i didnt want to complain. This was not money well spent.....
Service was excellent. (Thanks Storm). My chicken was prepared excellently but the chicken itself was tough and stringy (as rick said that chicken might have been old enough to get social security). My wife and girls ordered steak, 1 medium well 2 medium rare, i didnt hear any complaints from the girls but my wife did say applebees steak was better (i had to disagree because I zanesville applebees). All in all a pretty good dining experience
Just entered the Zanesville location there were booths empty across from the bar and the hostess told us we would have a 10 minute wait so the servers could destress And we would have to wait in our car. Very disappointed in in this restaurant.

Neither I nor my father was from the Zanesville area. We were given this restaurant as a recommendation from a friend. The atmosphere was tremendous and our server didnt outstanding job of recognizing our needs giving us time when we wanted not rushing us in any manner. The food was fantastic and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone either passing through the area or a resident.

We each had Angus burgers and fresh cut fries. The burgers were seasoned perfectly and the fries were hot and tasty! I have to say they serve the very best burger in town! Our server was attentive and we couldnt have asked for better!
We came in with our two young kids. They took our name and told us it would be a 10 minute wait. Then a group of two came in and were seated immediately, followed by a family of five (although missing one from their party) and were seated almost immediately as well. We continued to wait when a group of three came in and were also seated immediately. We then spoke to the hostess and left as we had run out of patience.
The food was amazing, our server was really nice. It was a little confusing whether they were open for inside eating because of the big sign on the side of the building said outside seating is available. They are open for inside eating.
I have been warned about this place since I was a child, but I was given $50 gift card to this place for coaching. Waitress was fine. Service was fine. Food came out pretty quick. I was pretty set on the tableside guacamole appetizer, but asked for a recommendation and was told about the pulled pork nachos. I said that would be fine, they brought out both. Guac wasnt too bad, but the chips seemed stale or old. The other nachos were obviously made from the same chips, they had pulled pork on them which was very subpar. My little cousins even thought the cheese they used was the canned cheese whiz, not sure if it was or not.Main course, the waitress suggested the porterhouse steak. I got it, some steamed vegetables and a baked sweet potato. The steak was absolutely unseasoned and tough even though it was cooked exactly as I asked (medium rare).The sweet potato was fantastic and the broccoli was decent.All in all I wasnt going to make a big stink about being brought and charged to appetizers since it was a gift card and I didnt plan on returning again. I wouldnt consider returning again, way easier just to get real Mexican from other local places, or a real steak from other local places.
Very good food. Tex Mex is a favorite of mine. Monday is $0.99 margaritas and they were full size. My friend ordered a martini and it came in the smallest tini glass I have seen.
It took over an hour to get our food and my wife and I both did not receive one of our sides. The waitress was very nice and immediately brought out the missing food. The food did taste good.
The food was great ,the waitress was great. But the place needs a good cleaning. Our table was sticky the floor from bathroom to dining room was very sticky. The seat in the booth had food stuck down it. Don t think management checks cleaning .
Service was great. Mac n cheese was very dry, waffle fries cold, and steak overdone. I will not be back to this location.
Wow!!!! Amazing food and amazing customer service. One huge plus is they use fresh jalapenos. Yes that sounds weird but if you think about it have you had horrible food at a place that has fresh jalapenos? Garunteed not. Most places use canned. Less burn apparently.
It was great. I had a half rack Bbq Ribs, it was great. Waitress was great.

Excellent service, but terrible food. I had a grilled chicken sandwich that I couldnt hardly stomach, and my husband had ribs that clearly had been taken out of the freezer in plastic packaging and then heated in the microwave. The salsa was also disgusting. The only thing we enjoyed was our beer. The beer is what made the food bearable.

They sat us in a booth across from the bar. There was 2 couples in the booth in front of us who had to many drinks. One was standing and talking loudly. We did ask if there was any other seating and was told no. It was packed. Everytime the door opened the cold air came in. Our waiter was nice and kept apologizing for our seating. We were missing silverware and my husband noticed a waitress putting some together and walked over to get some. She said our waiter has his own. My husband said we have salads to eat. So she gave them to us but was rude about it. It probably wouldnt have bothered us except we had a child with us. The food was ok. A little cold. We just asked for containers and went home to eat it.
Snotty hosts especially the one with nose piercing.Waited 25 mins as they chit chatted to sit at a table that was empty when we first got there.Then a waitress walks by announced sit them down I be over their with my fake smile to take their drink order.Never will go again.Poor staff- non friendly tools us over an hour for our food
Came in for lunch, but waitress didnt even know her own menu. Food was overcooked and the place was an absolute mess. Do yourself a favor and skip it.
Our server, Alec, was very efficient, friendly and helpful to our needs. The food, including the tableside guacamole was absolutely wonderful. Im beyond happy with my choice to dine here with my family. A++++

When we first sat down the bar tender said we was not allowed to sit there even thou the hostess said we could. Wow!!! Then the drink i ordered was suppose to be a easy drink. Nope didnt even take the time to crush the ice up. I sent it back and got a tea. The food well i was not impressed. Definitely cutting corners on the food. I will not be going back.
Pretty good. My filet was cooked to perfection but it needed som flavor. The bacon butter looks neat but doesnt add anything to the party. If I ate the steak with the mushrooms it was really good. Fried corn was fun.
The sirloin is amazing every single time at this location. Its why we keep coming back! The sirloin fajitas are also great.
We stopped here passing through to Indiana. It was Tuesday for dinner. I ordered the chicken avocado tacos. I was very hungry and very disappointed. They were filled with lettuce. The chicken was cold and there was a few very small pieces of avocado. My husband ordered the chicken tenders in chipotle bbq sauce with the onion strings and baked beans. The chicken was good but the onion’s were soggy and greasy. The staff was friendly. This meal was $28.80 and I only had the 2 tacos a-la-cart with the chicken meal.
Not that good. I ordered to go and sat at bar and ordered a margarita. The bottle was empty and had to be tossed. I saw her pour into a jigger as the bottle was empty and didnt fill the jigger even half way and then served it to me. Bun was soggy on the chicken sandwich and forgot the salad dressing on the to go food.
The margaritas and burritos are awesome. The only thing I would stay away from is the queso. Tastes a little too much like Kraft singles for me. And the service can be a little slow sometimes. But overall really good!!

Waited outside in my car for a hour and a half called asking when our table would be ready for them to say we already text u. AND NO THEY DID NOT. Go eat somewhere else while eating then get a text saying my table is ready.

The food was delicious. My steak was the perfect medium rare. Our waitress could have been more attentive to our needs but Id definitely go back.
The girls / waitresses were wearing weird t-shirts that I didnt care for and there wasnt much pasta on the menu but one dish and I asked if it was spicy and they told me No and when they brought it out it was so spicy I couldnt eat it and I had to make him bring it back I like the way the place looked inside but I dont think Ill be coming back
The day was good going here, but it was definitely not worth what I spent. I got two meals and it was 45 bucks, not including tip(which is always 5 for me) so it was 50 bucks.

Salsa was basically ketchup, chips were stale and the margarita was not good to say the least. the service, however, was excellent.
Service was horrible manager was very unprofessional food came out wrong twice after we explained what was wrong the first time came back out the exact same way didnt offer discount on the bill very rude cook the meal from my girlfriend because we told them the steak was overcooked when she was going to continue to eat her chicken fajitas and just have them bring a new piece of steak but they just yank it out from under her while she was eating the food so she said she had to sit there with no food for 20 minutes. Her mother and I let her eat off our plates by the time we were finished my girlfriends food finally came out and we told him to put it in a to-go box and they coped a huge attitude. I would never recommend for anybody to have to go through the experience that I just went through Tumbleweed has always been good to me but not the Zanesville location and to top it all off this was my girlfriends birthday dinner
Me and my girlfriend went and our potato skins were cold , and half my chips were undercooked our whole meal was honestly poor quality food, but great margaritas!!
Props to you guys I came in tonight for dinner and ordered the porterhouse cooked rare. Top five steaks Ive ever had and Ive eaten a lot of different cuts at a lot of different places. Keep it up!

Fajitas portion was really small. More onions than a Vidalia farm instead of peppers, looked like sauerkraut. Lettuce, pico, cheese and sour cream was left under the food warmer, the cheese actually melted together. No managers anywhere while our waitress cleaned up from a large party. Great waitress just was in the WEEDS. no reason for it.
Took at least 30 minutes to get our food. Server was excellent but she should go to work at a better restaurant.

Very good food. Not impressed with the salsa as it looks like many of the others are not but my meal was good. They get you with a 2.70 charge for drinks which seems quite high. But the wait staff was excellent.

Hands down the worst restaurant Ive ever been to. Dirty, overpriced, and undercooked.The table was dirty when we got seated, so the hostess said shed clean it off. She cleaned almost half of it off and then walked away. The menus were so dirty, I didnt even want to touch them. I didnt even attempt to use the restroom because I knew it would be just as disgusting as the rest of the place.Not only was the place dirty, but it was incredibly loud and the lighting was migraine-inducing. Just all around a terrible atmosphere. I didnt even get a drink because I wanted out of there so badly.The complimentary chips werent cooked all the way, and neither were the replacements we got when we brought it to the waitress attention. The bacon bits on the salad werent cooked at all. I was actually *afraid* to eat my meal after I saw all the undercooked stuff they already tried to serve to us. I wish I hadnt eaten my meal, because Ive been running to the bathroom for the 2 days since our visit.Outback Steakhouse prices for McDonalds quality garbage. They charged us $2 per side of INSTANT mashed potatoes that were so gritty, I couldnt even eat them. We dropped $50 on meals that shouldnt even have cost $20.Overpriced and undercooked. I wish someone had warned us. Im giving one star because Im forced to. Id prefer to give this place negative 5 stars.

Service is adequate, hostest are rude and completely ignore request. Foos is good and waiters are good. Not enough parking but somewhat worth it. The wait can be long and there is not very much room to sit to wait and no one will give up their seat even if someone else needs it
They have some of the best barbecue spare ribs in town all and also dont forget margarita Tuesday all the margaritas you could drink on Tuesday at the dollar of up. Everything was good, appetizer, margarita, service, my friends enchiladas, except my burger. I was disappointed. I guess its best to get what their speciality is, mexican food.

Very solid place right off of i70. Food was good for the area and the prices were very good. Where this place shined was their service. Alec was very attentive and made sure we were comfortable. Ill be stopping here again as I pass through.

It was Sunday April 24,2016 I had family from out of state and had my dad and mother at tumbleweeds for my birthday dinner, they sat us quickly as there wasnt alot of people in the restaurant, the waitress came over and took our drink orders and we asked for apricot salsa as well as mild salsa,the waitress brought our drinks and regular salsa I asked the waitress for the apricot salsa she said I will bring it,it never came then the waitress asked for our dinner requests we gave our order and I asked to add a salad she stated it will be two dollars extra,my dad said thats fine we all want salad,the waitress restated it will be two dollars extra my dad said thats fine,the waitress stated well I dont want you to yell at me when I bring you your bill,my dad said no worries, she finished taking our orders we ordered ribs and we all asked for the mild sauce,the waitress said it is mild unless you ask for hot ribs,we,got our dinner the ribs werent done,they were hot not mild and my mom and,sister n law couldnt eat them,we asked the waitress she said they are mild,they didnt taste mild,we asked for drink refills didnt get them,it was horrible food and service, then a baseball team came in and were very loud,and the waitress bent over backwards for them,we didnt leave a tip due to the waitress rude behavior, as we were going out the blond hair manager whispered to us have a good night, like we were the loud ones,we werent! That was so rude of a manager to behave that way she wasnt professional at all,I was so embraassed to have my family from out of state to have their dinner ruined, as well as my birthday dinner was ruined by their rude behavior my mom and dad felt so bad because they reommended tumbleweeds, I will never ever go back the food wasnt done the service and manager was very Rude! Every time we went there we always have an issue, Stay Away from Tumbleweeds in Zanesville ohio, it is dirty,staff and management Rude save your money, go to Texas roadhouse much better food and prices,I even called their corporate they are yet to contact me about this issue! Its been over two weeks since I left my name and number, still waiting! Dont go save your money and frustration!!
Tex-Mex plenty GOOD! Service VERY good! Their pork tenderloin sandwich, the best. Everything is ALWAYS clean, bathrooms exceptional. Very nice people.

This was my first time at this establishment and I do not regret it! The food was fantastic and my steak cooked perfectly. I will definitely stop here again when I travel to Columbus.

2022-04-26Update: The $7 burger and bottomless fries on Wednesdays are a great deal!I love our Tumbleweed. The mango chile glazed chicken tenders and the mango pineapple sirloin are unique and right up my alley. Nettie and Emily always do a fantastic job. This is my favorite place to sit down and eat.

2022-02-01Went for lunch. It was an okay experience. Not very many people where in the place when we went so it was nice we experienced fast service. The food is the only thing I didnt care for. The cook did a good job its just their recipes that I didnt like, for example the salsa reminded me of just ketchup with chunks of tomatoes and seasoning, the chips needed salt and the other recipes where a little spicy ( I mean my kids got tacos and I would think they wouldnt be as spicy as the adult place.) But, the staff where all friendly, yet for the price and taste of the food I dont think Ill want to go back. Just wasnt my cup of tea.

There were more than 3 reviews about the chips and salsa, salsa taste more like ketchup which is true. I agree with that. Staff is good. But the service is slow, it is again the second thing most reviewed, about the slow service. Food taste ok. Chicken tacos average in taste. House fries way too thick and plain. This place also need deep cleaning, Couch at the booth have stains. The ambiance is attractive, with antique decorations. The place is big and ample of parking space. Options for desserts is limited. Visiting once is fine.

2022-07-04Went here to eat today and will never go back. We normally love Tumbleweed but it was horrible today. We had to wait a good 45 minutes for our food and it wasnt great when it finally arrived. Had to ask for my croutons for my salad a few times and never got them til I got the bill and they were so salty you couldnt even eat them. They need to train their new waitresses better. Overall it was terrible.

2022-05-29Every time I have been in this restaurant it has gotten worse and worse. The last time our family of six went, there were only people at like two other tables and yet we still had horrible service. We had to ask the waitress each time we needed a drink refill, it was hard to get something when we needed it because the waitress would disappear for long periods of time, the steaks were not cooked the way we asked for them to be cooked, it took forever to get our food and it was cold when she finally brought it out, she completely forgot about a salad we ordered, and she brought out everyone’s meal except for mine cause she forgot to put my order in. Won’t be back.

2022-05-30The service was impeccable ; however the food was mediocre. I got the chicken tenders which were cooked to a crisp, a sweet baked potato also over cooked and Mac and cheese that tasted watered down. My son got the loaded nachos and those were actually extremely good. My friend got steak tacos and they were cold with rice that tasted very plain.

2022-05-17Always had great food and wonderful service. This trip...not so great. Excessive wait on meal. Steaks came with knives across meal all super hot to touch from being under warmer way to long( no they were not busy) and my medium steak was definatelty past medium, but I ate it. Then realized we had not gotten our salads. Waitress brought them after we inquired. Baked Weet potato was black on outside. Salads had large cut pieces of the core. Over all not in a hurry to return.

2022-03-05Well, once again, I am highly disappointed.Ordered for pick up. The girl that answered was rude. Get home, and directions for the food was not followed. One salad had bacon and tomatoes after being asked to leave them off, one steak was cooked well done instead of medium and the baked sweet potato came with no butter or sour cream. I am done ordering from this location. How many chances does one place need?

2022-05-13Went and ordered a ribeye cooked medium. The steak was really fatty and cooked well done, tough to even cut. Had to go to the bar to get my own drink refill. Manager refunded the steak as I couldnt eat it but Ill never go back.
