Tumbleweed Tex Mex Grill & Margarita Bar in other cities:
Salad had more wilted pieces than Id prefer, my roasted red pepper pasta had to be put in the microwave after being brought to the table because it was so cold yet the cheese was melted on my mesquite-grilled chicken. The waitress couldnt care less what the experience was. Its been 3 years since my last visit and I doubt I go back after todays.
They are telling people it is a 30 minute wait for 5 people (or less). Yet I walked through the restaurant and there are 5 tables open for 5 or more parties. Not counting open booths. I have addressed the issue with the host and the manager with no results. Still open tables as the pictures show.We frequently eat here and most of the managers recognize us. Often we bring parties of 12-15 on Sundays. If you want to contact me to discuss this further please let me know. Otherwise I will assume you have recently hired incompetent employees and new management.Update: after getting seated, Audri did an excellent job talking care of us. She was a very friendly person and worked very hard despite being on her feet all day while getting ready to have a baby in a few days. Her tip was appropriate for her great service and not based on the poor operations of the front desk.
We really enjoyed our visit to this Tumbleweed today! Its been years since weve been to a Tumbleweed, so it almost felt like trying a new restaurant. We had the tableside guacamole and it was so worth it! You cant get any fresher than that and it was fantastic! We had side salads - mine had ranch dressing and the ranch was delicious! The jalapeno croutons are spectacular as they are made in house from cornmeal and theyre actually warm on your salad and are slightly sweet (like cornbread). YumOur entrees were Avocado Chicken Tacos (comes with santa fe rice and black beans); And Enchiladas Dinner that includes 1 each chicken cheese and beef enchiladas (comes with santa fe rice and refried beans).Everything was very good!Haleigh was our server and she did a good job!
This is my steak suppose to be well done. Sent back 2 times and also the whole time my potatoe was not change until I said something the last time that it is now cold after sending it back 2 times! This is the picture of my well done steak black on one side and on other not all the way done... Also the waitress was hardly around to give us drinks when we was out. I will not be back in the future.
Food normally good this time it was mediocre steak did not taste like it had any flavor items forgotten service was good when we got it but it was slow even though the place was busy might be understaffed but it looked like they had a lot of people that worked there walking around
Excellent, as always. I strayed from my typical ribeye and tried the bourbon glazed pork chops and Im glad I did, they were FANTASTIC! My wife got her usual, a burrito deluxe with a frozen margarita. Straight up yum! Our, server, Diana, was incredible. Took wonderful care of us, and we left with a bag of fresh chips and apricot salsa for a nightcap.
Ordered the porterhouse steak asked for it to be well done. They bring it out bloody not once but twice. Had baked sweet potato with it and asked them to replace the potato on the second trip to get the steak done they bring it back so dried out it was stringy. Picture is their twice backed potato.
The table wasnt cleaned there was food on the seats and top which the hostess just sat us anyways, they gave me a girl with the prongs vent in half and the menus were covered in split soda you could see the residue all over. They were so sticky. The good was okay and our server was great otherwise.
Decent place to eat when your group cant decide what you want to eat, they have a little of everything from steak to Mexican cuisine. We visit numerous times each year and have only experienced minimum issues that were immediately resolved by the management. Food is good drinks are cold and average priced.
What a fantastic experience! Our server was amazing. She was fast and polite. We really appreciated her. The food was great! We both had the Chimichanga with refried beans, rice and veggies. The guacamole was made at our table and was delicious with the salsa and fresh chips. We also enjoyed desert which was equally tasty.I highly recommend Tumbleweed in Heath, OH!
Sorry to say it wasnt the most enjoyable visit. We eat at Tumbleweed alot between Heath and Zanesville. We wont be back any time soon. I slid and fell walking to the table,no caution sign up, wet spots everywhere. Not a single employee checked on me, apologized that I fell or tried to help me when I fell. Our chips were crushed crumbs, we ran out of drinks and waited a while for them to be refilled, and our food was not as advertised on the menu......... I could understand if they were busy even, but not the case tonight.
3:30 on a Tuesday, the place was relatively empty. Hostess sat us down. Several minutes later a couple sat behind us. They promptly were waiting on. We just sat there like we were invisible. Gave it a few more minutes..nothing so we left. This used to be put favorite place to eat when we went to Heath. Its okay, Red Lobster got our money..
Love the atmosphere and waitress always go above and beyond to help. Also this is one of the few places that I can go out to eat and not just have a salad because of my food sensitivity. However I would like more restaurants in the area to he transparent with what is in their food.
The steak was to die for!! It was truly a tongue melting experience. I just wish the steak had been bigger. Possibly it was a large piece but it was so good that I consumed it quicker than I possibly thought. The waitress was excellent. Checked on us often and kept the refills coming. And she was witty as well. Fair amount of diners. Nice and clean surroundings although it looked slightly dated. The music was at the right decibel: not too loud, not too low. Bathroom was clean. Lighting in the main dining area was good. I give it a 4 stars instead of a five, because of the outward appearance. It looks a little shabby and in need of a spurce up. Will dine there again.
Food is great and service is usually pretty good. This remodel that they did though...They went from a hunting lodge type motif to a Here is a $500 gift card to Hobby Lobby Karen, go wild. They are just missing the Live Laugh Love signage. Fire your interior decorator asap.
Our waitress gave me attitude when SHE messed up and scanned my card on someones elses receipt when I told her I would pay the (less then 2.00) difference in cash she got up set and refused said she has to rescan my card no other options very rude about it. My friend showed up late and the waitress acted like she was upset about it. Over all food tasted great service horrible if you want a nice relaxing evening with no problems dont go here.
Ordered takeout tonight. My boyfriend absolutely hates pickles and specified no pickles on his sliders in our online order. They put pickles on all of them obviously because they can read very well. When we picked up our food, he went back in to get it changed in any way. What did they do? Clearly just took the pickles off and that’s it. I was a server for about four years. The least they could do is put them on different buns but that’s too hard. Also both of the hostesses need replaced because they have no people skills whatsoever. Thank you tumbleweed for letting us know where to never eat again.
In town for the Mopar Nats and decided on Tumbleweedss. What an awesome choice!! Our server Nicol S was very attentive and friendly and the foods was absolutely delicious! The kids were asking for seconds. The amount of food we got for the price was great. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a bite, you will not be disappointed
I am a veteran in the industry, as is my husband. That being said this location was hands down the best experience we have ever had anywhere. Cleanliness, hostess, speed, prices, food, atmosphere, service...all exceptional 👌 I really regret not having our servers name because she def deserves the credit but the blonde server with the 2 French braids and the tattoos deserves a raise. This is our new favorite restaurant of all time now. Treat your employees right, they def deserve it.
Ive always had excellent service at this Tumbleweed location. The food has always been worth the price and wait. My only problem with this restraunt is situational. If you are seated at one of several booths across from the bar (which seems to happen a lot to me) it tends to be kind of cold. There are doors located on either side of the bar that lead to the outdoor patio/eating area that are left propped open almost always. This creates quiet a bit of airflow and even on a day where its roughly 70 outside it can cool off your food and make your dining experience a little cooler than youd like. Other than that one situational thing I cant recommend this place enough.
I ordered chicken avocado tacos. It was disappointing. None of it was hot (temperature)! It was soft shells and no attempt had been made to warm them. Served with beans and rice. Again, they were barely warm. My dad had ordered a burrito and here seemed to enjoy his meal. Not a place that I will be going back to. Service was good and the waitress friendly. Saved the rating from being a 2.
Were larger people and i explained this to the hostess before waiting for a seat. We waited and was led to a booth that we did not fit in. That wasnt the problem the hostess left before we could tell her and my wife is on a Walker. I went up and told them to put us at a table instead and she ignored me. . We left and had a great meal at longhorn steak house. Wish this could have been fixed. Liked the food in last place.
We went for a family dinner and the wait for a Saturday afternoon was surprisingly short. My first observation was that a waiter had his mask under his nose. Our waiter greeted us and brought our drinks promptly. We then waited about 45 minutes for 5 dinners. When served, the mashed potatoes had sat long enough that they were crusted over. The sweet potato was burned so black that I didn’t even know what it was. The pulled pork was undercooked and cold. And the deep fried corn was inedible. We didn’t get a refill of chips that we asked for, not refills on drinks. We expressed concerns to the manager, who offered $20 off of the bill, and apologized for the wait, due to lack of kitchen help, but didn’t address the state of the food served.
We liked it. My service was great. My wife said she wasnt all that impressed with the menu, I think she was expecting a little more of a Mexican restaurant, and it is not. It is Tex Mex. I actually enjoyed it more than our usual Mexican restaurant. My only complaint was that the seat in the booth we were in felt like it needed the springs replaced. I could feel the frame under the cushion. I think it would have been more comfortable to sit on a flat peice of wood. We were in town for an event, and probably wont be back any time soon, but I think we would go back when and if we are back there.
We were told 20 minute wait and it ended up being 45 minutes. Then I ordered a taco salad with chicken and all I can say I got a salad with beans and 2 slivers of chicken. Then was charged for pico $1 and I didn’t even order it! No one to complain to. So not going back!
Place needs some cleaning attention ( check light bulbs in bar especially antler light.) Need to hire a busser.. we arrived at 2 pm.. waited 15 minutes because several tables needed bussed. Our table had dried food on it. Food was good small portions though for the price.
45 minutes to wait to be seated. Food came, pulled pork, had no BBQ sauce. Asked for extra butter for baked potatoe and did get it. Waiting to ask our waiter for the extra things and he disappeared for quite some time than asked another waiter. Took forever to pay and get out.
Three friends and I always come in on Thursdays for dinner and margaritas,we have not been in for awhile for awhile. Im not a complainer but tonite we did not have a good experience, to begin we were brought a small bowl of chips and salsa, we were not asked what kind of Salsa we wanted. I asked for extra sour cream for my fajitas, did not get it, we were brought our checks, was not asked if we wanted another margarita, which we did, my granddaughter was with us and she was not offered another lemonade. We felt we were being rushed. On the good side, the food was great as usual!
We stopped in tonight. 6/12/2020 at 4:16pm table 106- Our first dine-in meal since the covid-19 started. Donald B shows on the receipt but we had some young waitress with him as well in training. They both were great! We sat in the indoor patio with no one else. I felt they did a fantastic job at keeping us guest 6 feet apart and at a distance from each other. They wore masks (which I know is a pain considering Im an essential worker as well) and gloves when bringing our food/drinks to the table. The food was amazing as well.! Great job Tumbleweed in Heath Ohio
I come here to sit at the bar and receive great service from the bartender, Tino. He can have a full bar and be serving tables and I still get the same great service every single time. Awesome bartender and even better guy. The food is always great as well, my steak comes out right every time.Daniel(Manager) seems to run a great show here. Interacts with the guests while clearly helping his staff. This is a great all around place and I will continue to come back often. Recommend to anyone.
Went and took my girlfriend and her daughter their for dinner few weeks back we sat at a booth by the bar. The bartender was running the bar as well as the booths and heck of a Job. This guy litterly treats his guest like royalty didnt miss a beat. You didnt have to worry about running out of a drink didnt have to ask he was on it. I cant remember what I tipped but ill tell you if I had more I would of left Great Job im sure once you read this review you will know who you are and thank you for the A+ customer Service as well as great food. Thank you!
The food and staff are great. My only complaint is that our waitress told us there was no allergen menu, not even online. I know that doesnt affect everyone but it made things kind of tricky for our group. Very great restaurant overall. I hope they are able to add an allergen menu in the future.
The epitome of great customer service. We had the best associate on staff her name was unique I think it was Kenan. She knows her stuff. She made great recommendations and the food came out hot and it was delicious. I didnt realize there were so many choices on the menu I will come back again and I will definitely recommend to friends.
I ordered through doordash and was missing an item from my bags. I called and spoke with the manager Daniel. He was so respectful and understanding about my missing order and kindly recommended he deliver my missing order to me asap! I was so pleased and happy with my service from Tumbleweed! Im a long time customer and will continue to be! They always put their customers first and are always smiling, respectful and happy people!
We went to Tumbleweed this afternoon for lunch. I ordered a taco salad. It was the worst taco salad Ive ever had. The only flavor was the EXTRA guacamole and salsa that came with our chips. We were so disappointed in the food today. Second strike. Not sure we will ever go back
My husband and I went in to eat dinner. We had to leave and find another restaurant to eat at cause they only have a tables for large parties. We are handicap and plus size so we need a table and they told us that they are sorry but can only offer booths. I kind of felt discriminated towards.
The food was undercooked or overcooked. My sliders were raw, not rare, raw... They fixed them. My brothers steak was well-done green he ordered it medium. When they brought out a new steak, there were parts that were rare and the rest was raw. I will never go back to this restaurant again.
My steak (Small cut ribeye) was terrible! You expect an excellent steak from a steak house. I couldnt chew it - it was so tough! My buttered mushrooms were extremely large and several of them were hard - like wood! Wasnt happy. They didnt charge me for the steak. Wont go back.
The food is really mediocre. I think they try to be fancier and charge more for the food but you could easily get more bang for your buck at half the restaurants around here. The service was pretty good though. The steak was probably the best thing but wouldnt do it again.
This is the last Columbus and surrounding area Tumbleweed left. Its got great food, specials are on a separate menu, but only 1 person out of 5 adults got one. One plus....the Margarita Bar..I asked what flavors, expecting the usual Original,. Strawberry and Raspberry...the very nice bartender gave us a choice of 8 or 9.The Pineapple was Awesome. Thank goodness we sat down at the bar, our 20 min wait was pretty accurate. But after ordering food, we waited and waited.and waited while table after table ordered and was served their food. We finally inquired, just as our food was delivered to our table. Children wouldnt make that wait. Food was really good, but the wait wasnt.
Ask for Tino, he is a GREAT waiter!! Have never had a bad meal here, and we eat here at least once a week. Cant beat the 30% off mon-thurs either. Even if you dont get Tino, you wont be disappointed as all of the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
Quality of the food is excellent, friendly service, knowledgeable servers every time we have eaten here except today. Sat for ten minutes before our server came to take our drink orders after she had sent another server to our table to say Dianna will be with you shortly. She wanted me to let you know.….finally received a warm tea and when the meal finally arrived was cold, we never complain just take note for next time as we eat out alot to do the nature of our business. Then I asked server for a to go box, she pointed to the boxes sitting behind me at her station and let me know I could grab one. Ask for a bowl twice before receiving one. Worst service we have ever had here but first time with this particular server, just wasnt her day.
Worst experience cant believe I definitely said I wanted the pulled pork sandwich and even pointed it to the waitress and when came out was a pork sandwich she did nothing but argue with and said thats what I ordered tested me like a child never had I had such rude service
Food quality very low.Ordered the buffalo chicken wrapThe wrap was swimming in buffalo sauce and was the only thing I tasted. The food was cold and the fries are luke warm almost almost like they were under the warming light from the morning and they got nuked in the microwave. The queso came out on a stand with a candle bottom I am guessing to keep it warm any way unlit and cold.So being the reason for one star and this leangthy review
Tino was a really fun server and good at his job too. My friend and I both got the 6oz sirloin and they were delicious.Warning: the mesquite seasoning was too spicy for me, they remade my meal and it was yummy. My daughter is vegetarian and had substitutions to her meal which were executed perfectly. Add a frozen Strawberry margarita for her and a tall draft Budweiser for me and thats perfection!
Food took forever to get there and when it did, my order was wrong. I told them, they said they would remake it, and everyone else at my table was done with their food before the waitress came back saying the order was in...and this was for a burrito, which takes NO time to make in the first place. They didnt charge me for the meal, which is the only reason Im giving them two stars. They also over charged me for a margarita, and charged someone at my table for a second beer that was never given to us. No one at my table ever got any drink refills either. Food that we did get was good, its just too bad the service was so poor.
Wait time wasnt to bad., about 30mi s. Place is clean. I was somewhat concerned when we 1st sat as to what kind of experience we were about to have. Happy to report it was hands down THE best service we have had in recent memory. spot on., never had to wait for drink refill, napkins etc., guacamole was made fresh at the table., delicious. Food temp was hot we were served timely., food was outstanding. Atmosphere was jovial and relaxed. We will go back to this restuarant
Place is great! We ordered some potato skins and forgot to ask for them without the sour cream and seasoning. They were nice enough to make us a new plate of potato skins without the sour cream and things for free. Food was amazing, baked Patato was one of the best I have had and the steak was great!!
First I would like to start off with the complimentary chips. They were the texture of something made of plastic. Tooth breaking chips are just the tip of the iceburg. Next came the 45 minute wait to get our food. They did not care one bit about wait time as other customers that had arrived later than us were served before us. I would not go to this place unless you like poor service and a bowl of dentist visits.
Almost gave it 1 star, but our waitress was very sweet and still in training. She was pleasant and attentive. Unfortunately thats where the positives end. I ordered the Ribeye dinner and the potato skins as our appetizer. My other half went with a burrito dinner. The free chips were gross - very strange texture and bad after taste; the salsa tasted like cheap GFS salsa and was watery. Yay. We got the potato skins and while it looked appetizing, it completely lacked any flavor whatsoever and we didnt really care for the lettuce and tomato addition to what is normally a pretty hard to mess up recipe. 0 for 2 at this point. We got our meals very quickly. Sadly, the burrito meal looked like a high school hot lunch with commercial refried beans and melted cheese wizz on the top. The beef filling looked like dog food 🤢 My steak was mostly blobs of fat and gristle and had way too much salt or whatever seasoning they tried to hide the cheap frozen steak flavor with. Mashed potatoes tasted over salted and my corn on the cob, whole good, didnt make up for how nasty the rest of our meal was. There literally wasnt one thing we enjoyed, and we arent typically picky eaters. $50 down the drain. We will never be back. Gross!
My daughter and I took my husband, her dad, out for lunch for Fathers day. We expected it to be busy. Not so much. We were seated right away, got our drinks, ice tea (warm) and coke. We ordered our appetizer (potatoes skins) right with our drinks, it came to us luke warm. We sat for over an hour waiting for our meal. 2 other families came in after us, same server, placed their orders, got their food and ate their food got their bills and left and we had still not gotten ours. The server refreshed our drinks twice. We told him we had been there over an hour. Finally got our food, it wasnt warm. Mine was hot in the middle. Im sorry but I find this unacceptable. The server gave us a discount, big deal, I would rather of had hot food. He apologized and said he didnt know what happened. I dont either. Probably will not go back for food though. Maybe we should have asked if we could have mailed them our payment for the food.
This was a horrible experience. First we waited for over 30 minutes for a table while there were at least 6 open tables that needed cleared. I ordered the 20 oz Porterhouse. Took almost 40 minutes for our food to come out and when it did the sides were cold and yucky looking and my steak was about 10 oz of bone and gristle. Waitress miss 1/2 of our sides and had to return 2 times to get it right. Used to love eating here. It will ne some time before I return and spend my money here again.
I was at tumbleweed Sunday and I must say I really must say I really did Enjoy my experience. I had a party of 5 on a Sunday, (keep in mind sundays are usually the more busy days for restaurant) but we were able to be seated quickly. The waiter took our drink orders and within a few minutes we had our drinks. He then proceeded to take our orders. I ordered the half rack of ribs. To my surprise within 15 mins our food was at our table. The Ribs were delicious and the fries were fantastic, the only downside to that meal was the toast they gave me. It was very dry and tasteless I couldnt finish one slice let alone two slices. Overall I really did enjoy Tumbleweed and I hope to eat there again soon.
The decor is Western hunting lodge with plenty of tables and booths and an outside patio. Full bar and a wonderful double sided fireplace in the main dining room. Sturdy tables and chairs, and multiple TVs so you dont miss the game or the news. they have a big full menu that is clear and easy to read. The service is excellent, with very friendly staff, and quick beverage service. I find the prices to be in-line with other similar casual dining restaurants and reasonable. The bathrooms are always clean, well lit, stocked, and have plenty of room to navigate in.Food quality is excellent, and has improved from a few years ago. Tumbleweeds went through a period of time where they changed the menu, and not in a good way, it seemed that corporate was looking to save some money and making cuts, cuts that I didnt like, they removed a number of appetizers, the bacon from the salad, no more filet, etc. That has now changed back for the better. They are back to making an excellent salad, warm chips with salsa, the filet is back, and mighty tasty by the way.I can be pleased with a couple of simple things, get me seated, get a drink and chips in front of me, get my order correct, have good tasting food. Get that done in a reasonable amount of time. Tumbleweeds did exactly that the last two times that I have been there. Food quality is excellent and especially their steaks. I have enjoyed good chicken and ribs as well as their Mexican style food. Good job guys.I enjoy coming here, I like the food, and I recommend it next time you dont want to cook. They are family friendly and have enough menu diversity to make everyone happy.
Ordinarily I would rate this place with 4 stars, but my dinner there over the weekend was bad. My salad was wilted and slimy. No carrots or tomatoes etc..just a handful of stale cheese on top of old bag salad. Their salads are normally very fresh and loaded with veggies. I ordered a filet cooked medium and it was really overcooked and tough to eat. The only edible was the chips and apricot salsa. Thirty dollars is pretty expensive for a handful of tortilla chips. FYI ..when I told my server about the issue he did nothing. Very disappointing
This place is usually packed around lunch and dinner but wait times are only around 30 minutes or so. Theres a wide array or food but its all pretty good, the alcoholic beverages and the desserts are absolutely wonderful! Ask for kevin for some of the best service, he goes above and beyond to make sure that absolutely everything is how you want it! They have good prices during happy hour too.
Oh where to begin, we placed an order through door dash for the pork chops, ribs and queso. Once the food was delivered we noticed we didn’t receive any chips, the small order of queso and just plain pork chops. Upon calling the restaurant we were informed that they did give us chips and everything was right on their end but agreed to give us the missing items. Now it’s entirely possibly the door dash driver didn’t give us some of our items but I was not impressed by way the manager handled the situation. We didn’t want Extra food. just for the order to be corrected. I think there may be an issue of ordering through the app and then the to go person entering it Into the system on their side. When I was finally given the missing items. The chips were missing again! At that point I gave up, drove to Kroger to pick up tortilla chips so I could finish my dinner.
We have never had a bad meal at tumbleweed... They do a really good job on their steaks ...cook to order... Salads come out fresh and to order because I always want my dressing on the side... Chips and salsa is always good and filling... Wait staff is always very friendly...
Me, my husband and my 2 yr old son ate here. First of all the service was crappy. My chair was broke. And Every time someone walked passed me whether it be a waiter/waitress or someone walking to their table my chair got kicked or I got hit. My husband and I order the steak wraps with fries. My husband didnt even eat his food. The was seriously 2 pieces if steak in the wraps the rest was lettuce. So gross. My 2 yr old son got chicken strips and fries with applesauce. Now he loves, I mean loves chicken, fries and applesauce. He wouldnt eat anything. The chicken was so dry and tasted like fish. I got him a lemonade. They gave him water. My husband ordered a raspberry tea. It wasnt even sweet. I ordered a sweet tea with lemon. Didnt get lemon. And I had chunks of, Im guess splenda in my cup. I didnt even drink it. Fries were gross also. We told our waiter we didnt like the food and he did nothing. We spent $40 on food we didnt eat!!!! And our waiter barley waited on us. I will never come back nor will I recommend this place to anyone. The most disgraceful place Ive ever been too!!!
Food is always hot and served quickly. alot of people can cook a steak... just cant cook it right... the cooks at TW MADE MY STEAK PERFECT!!! Ill eat here over and over again... plus my lady likes the margaritas here... when she drinks my day gets better!! thanks Tumbleweed!!
It has been years since I have been to a tumbleweed so we figured lets give it a try. I had the beef burrito w queso which was good not great but really good. Wifie had a burger and fries that she seemed to really enjoy. I would say the chips and apricot salsa were very good. It is worth a visit.
Great Tex-Mex. A shame so many of these in the Columbus market closed a few years ago. The one in Heath is worth the trip, though. Excellent burritos, chimis, and other Mexican foods. Also great burgers. Waffle fries are really good too. I havent explored the menu beyond these items. Not because of interest, but because of the time to drive there limits my number of trips.
Weve been here many times usually as a family and most of the time it takes a while to be seated and then get taken care. Most recent visit we had to send three steaks back because they came out cold...not even luke warm. We still have no food after sitting here for over an hour and a half. Well see if we return....

2022-05-11We’ve ordered from here a cpl of time recently and have had awesome food!Tonight however was not the case. Full rack of ribs that were rubbery and almost impossible to pull a part. The few bites I had have left me feeling kind of ill, and I pretty much fed the dogs with a 25$ meal. Not a good time when you were already starving. Pretty bummed out considering I’ve enjoyed my other meals from here recently. Guess Their Tuesday night staff lineup isn’t filled with their starters, but c’mon man! I worked in the industry, there’s no way I would have served that.

2021-07-25First time in 5-6 years having a bad experience at this location. If it wasn’t for the way we were treated I wouldn’t even be writing this review because I usually let stuff slide. As you can see from the picture the food was not even done after waiting almost 40 minutes. We did not complain about the wait while we were there. I know they are short staffed and doing the best they can. I tried to inform our waitress about the food and she just said “ahh yeah” and walked away. The manager walked by and I was trying to tell her that uncooked food was not acceptable and also had a question about the menu and she also walked away with out a single care. I have never had employees at this location be so rude before. I am always respectful and courteous of those who work in customer service as I do myself. My family and I always clean up the table to make it easier for the staff and in return we get unfriendly behavior. I know you guys don’t care when a customer says “We won’t be back” but unfortunately that is what we decided after tonight. We aren’t those people who try to get free food. I do expect to be heard though when I voice a complaint and tonight no one cared.

2022-01-04***Gave them another shot 9 months later - food was just OK. Understaffed, so there was going to be a long wait, so we decided to eat at the bar. If youre in the mood to hear the bartender from Kentucky rudely complain about previous customers while she very loudly washes A LOT of glasses right in front of you while youre eating, Tumbleweeds your place. Or, if you like being stared at by the bartender from Kentucky while you eat, go to Tumbleweed in Heath!******Obviously, this photo is after I ate a lil bit, but the contents of this styrofoam container cost me $14 - my husband got the same thing. And it was just OK. There were maybe 3 forkfuls of lettuce and tomato, and a very small amount of rice and beans. The only reason we ordered from here is because the good local Mexican restaurant was closed, and we wanted a burrito. $14 is a little steep for a little bit of OK food. Also, we ordered by phone to pick up, was told it would be 25-30 minutes, and we showed up after 29 minutes. Food was ready, but just lukewarm. My husband overheard other customers being told it would be 15-20 minutes for their orders. Hmm... maybe ours had been ready and sat there waiting for us for 10-15-ish minutes??? Lets see some improvement, Tumbleweed!

2022-06-02Waitress was rushing. Taking drink orders before we ever all sat down. Party of 8. 2 orders were incorrect, 2 margaritas were virgin not regular, tables were extremely sticky and drink menu was completely stuck together. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like.

2022-05-03Tumbleweed is a decent dine-in for Tex-Mex style food. Nothing too fancy, but the food is good quality. Not too hard on the wallet either. All in all, there isnt really anything bad that I could say about the place.
