I cant begin to say enough about Jean Ann, Chris and the entire Trifles Catering staff. It was our 1st time using them for a private event, Clam Bake for our Company party. From start to finish, they handled everything, and the food was fantastic! I highly recommend them, and we will use them in the future again!
Trifles provided a wonderful selection of hors doeuvres for the Fieldstone Farm Annual Meeting last night. Our Trustees and staff members loved everything! It arrived hot, was presented beautifully and tasted delicious! Plus Jean Ann and Gerry are always so easy to work with and so accommodating. Thank you very much Trifles!!
Our first time using Trifles and I can tell you it will not be our last. They are amazing. Food received so many compliments I should have been giving out their business cards! In addition we had two servers help us out. John and Sami. They were amazing and helped our party run smoothly and efficiently. They even labeled the leftovers with re-heating instructions and cleaned everything! I can’t recommend them enough and can’t wait to have them cater another party. Thank you trifles! We will be return customers for sure!

Trifles Catering is our SOLUTION for entertaining family, friends, and customers – for at least 30 years! All I have to do is call them with our request for a party: when, where, what kind, how many guests. Trifles, then, promptly emails me several menu ideas & prices, based on past choices of ours stored in their computer. If we are planning something new, such as weddings at home, anniversaries, Christmas parties, birthdays, funerals, or corporate events, their personal, expert guidance and outstanding serving staff leave us completely comfortable. We used Trifles for our May 2019 wedding and couldn’t have imagine our big day without them. From the beginning, the staff have truly been amazing. They put together a little private food tasting where myself, the bride, the groom and our maid of honor and best man were able to try all the dishes to select for our wedding. Jean Ann and Jerry were very responsive and any time I had a question, they were always more than happy to answer for me. They both made me feel at ease when making decisions that are sometimes difficult having not gone through a Wedding before. Jean Ann even came on both set up days to ensure we had everything we need and both her and her husband were right there hands on the night of the wedding to ensure everything was perfect. This team is very reasonable and a hidden gem for any bargain bride. Will certainly recommend this group to many more brides to be!
I am originally from the Cleveland area, but have lived in the state of WA since 1986. My family and I came back to Cleveland in August of 2018 for my mother-in-laws 90th birthday and family reunion; and also my brothers 75th birthday and family reunion. I wanted to plan a birthday celebration day for my brother, Tom; spoke with his son who lives in Chagrin Falls who said he would host our family; and I would provide the food for the party. After checking online (food, cost, reviews, etc.) without knowing any of the 3 caterers we decided upon, I am so glad that we decided to have Trifles cater our buffet meal. I chose food for 21 - 14 adults and 7 kids - so I knew I had to have food that all ages would love! Trifles menu has a lot of variety and options on their menu depending on what type of event theyre catering. Their infamous chicken salad was a big hit along with the lasagne; fresh fruit salad; potatoes; rolls; and several different salads! They were fabulous, friendly, dependable and easy to work with - our successful party was their success! They also delivered the food to my nephews home in time for the food that had to be cooked was done and ready by the time the family got their for the main event! Outstanding communication, food, and service at a reasonable cost! I would highly recommend Trifles! Thank you!
Ordered some frozen items (pulled pork, crab cakes and chicken marsala) & the hot chicken salad from the online store. The frozen entrees were delicious and enjoyed by everyone! The crab cakes may be in my top 3 ever! Hot chicken cant be beat as always.
Absolutely the most amazing food you will experience! Totally the best!They served for a brunch at the Grand Prix Polo Field, a poached Salmon that melts in your mouth, a veggie quich whose flavors burst with yumminess, french toast that I wished I could take some home and more! I highly recommend them. Kudos to the chef! (the service was superb as well).

I have used Trifles on multiple occasions and for events ranging from 10 to 150 people. They have been consistently excellent with quality and delicious food as and with customer service. They also accommodate food allergies very well.
Ive enjoyed crab cakes from Maine to Maryland and Trifles are my favorite!

2022-06-27We used Trifles Catering for a joint 50th birthday party (around 65 people) and they were fantastic! The food was great and the servers/bartender were awesome. What really impressed me was their attention to detail and how they guided my husband and I through all the options. We would definitely use them again!

2022-06-13We had Trifles cater a celebration of life event a few weeks ago. Im VERY picky about food and food quality. Everything we selected was way beyond my expectations and everyone who attended said the same thing. The food was fabulous! I highly recommend them for any catering event. We served veggies lasagna, stuffed chicken breast, beef tenderloin, falls salad, caesar salad, green beans, roasted potatoes and desserts. DELICIOUS!!!

2020-10-26I ordered Trifles catering for my baby shower this past weekend and the food was excellent! We did a mix of breakfast and lunch items to achieve more of a brunch feel and the blueberry croissant bake and egg strata were perfectly cooked. We received so many compliments on the lasagna also!!Jean Ann was so lovely to deal with and answered all my questions quickly and all the food was delivered exactly when they said it would be! We also ordered Chafing dishes and sternos through them and they brought everything we needed to make the food great for our special day!

2020-09-03Trifles was outstanding with helping us to organize a small, family wedding celebration, far from our home. The food was absolutely marvelous: Beautifully prepared and presented. Trifles accommodated a special request of Chicken Marbella (a family favorite), and it was exactly as we expected...scrumptious!Our server, Cindy was fabulous. She was friendly, professional, and efficient. Trifles is fortunate to have her. I highly recommend Trifles for all of your catering needs!My only regret is we do not have a Trifles in Massachusetts...Thanks a million!

2020-10-13Recently, I hosted a bridal shower. In light of our “new normal lifestyle”, decided against serving lunch buffet style to the guests and chose to serve lunch boxes. My first and only choice was Trifles Catering. Not only were Jean Ann and Gerry a pleasure to work with, they were most accommodating. Trifle’s lunch box menu is beyond compare! I chose the chicken salad option - ordered half grape chicken salad and half lemon chicken salad. Both chicken salads were delicious and the presentation of the food in the lunch box - beautiful! Cannot thank Trifles enough and highly recommend them for all of your catering needs!

2020-07-22We used Trifles for our mid-pandemic wedding on the hottest day of the year. Despite the challenges, their staff was professional, courteous and worked tirelessly. Virtually every guest complimented the quality and taste of the food, the passed appetizers particularly. And, this was no easy crowd: about half of us work in food service. Jean Ann was a pleasure to work with in planning the event, always flexible and responsive with a lot of great ideas to make our event a success. She even sourced the tables and chairs for us. Exceptional performance from top to bottom, Id highly recommend this great local company.

2018-08-23They are wonderful! I hired Trifles to cater my wedding, I’ve never really had great food at a wedding before, but they know what they are doing. So many compliments from my guests, plus they packed everything up for me and my husband to take home. The staff was amazing, Jean Ann is a pleasure to work with and they never overcharged me on anything. I will absolutely hire them again and again!

2020-06-22OMG the frozen food I picked up last week was fantastic! We had two couples over for our first social-distance dinner on the deck, and everyone loved everything. We had the Bacon-Wrapped Goat Cheese Stuffed figs, Crispy Asiago Asparagus, Parmesan Crusted Chicken Cutlets, Broccoli Salad, and the Fancy Pick-Up Sweets. I usually cook for our friends, but was nervous enough about having our first pandemic gathering, so not worrying about the food was such a help. Now placing another order, just so that we can have great food available for a last-minute gathering. Thanks!
