A colleague of mine recommended Tres Belles Cakes after their wedding, and I am so glad I took his advice! We knew we wanted a simple cutting cake- I actually really dislike cake/icing so I was doing it more so for tradition. When we had our consultation, we were given samples of cake that I not only liked but LOVED. We decided to get a naked cake so the icing was minimal and it fit the theme of our wedding. They also mentioned if we had leftover flowers from my bouquet (We did the DIY flowers in Dayton, so I had a ton) they would decorate the cake for no additional charge. The day before my wedding, we stopped in and gave them the extra flowers and let them do their magic. They invited me back to where they were decorating my cake to get my thoughts, and I couldnt believe how much of a difference a few flowers could make! My cake went from a pretty cake to a STUNNING cake. I had people complimenting it all night long! Not to mention- it was delicious. I even went back for multiple pieces 😊 If someone like me who dislikes cake could truly love what they made, they can make something for anyone. If you have any doubts, book them for your wedding needs!
Tracy and Tres Belle Cakes are amazing!I was planning a celebration for my mother-in-laws 80th birthday. I sent Tracy a photo of our decor and she created the most beautiful and perfect cake. I grabbed the dessert burger at Tres Bella Cakes this afternoon. It was different from the usual Burger Week offerings obviously and delicious. They have it all packaged up and ready for you to stop in and grab one.
Tres Belle comes highly recommended from us. We utilized their company for our wedding cake. What Tres Belle is able to do is more than just bake a cake. They are truly able to take your vision and craft an edible version for you and all of your guests to enjoy. Their desserts are delicious to the point of wanting seconds or thirds every time you take a bite. Our solidification that we picked the right company was when we had guests coming up to us at our reception with cake still in their mouths saying how delicious it was. The planning and design process was incredibly simple and easy, we tasted some of their flavors and picked our favorite while sharing some design inspiration photos mixed with dicusssing physical samples shown throughout their shop. They were able to take what we discussed and deliver perfectly on our wedding day. We cant wait to stop back in their shop to enjoy all of the delicious treats they have to offer.
I’m in love with Tres Belle. I had first heard of them at a bridal show right before Covid really hit. I’m convinced they could make nothing bad, everything is delicious! Staff and owner are so sweet, and it was effortless to get my wedding cupcakes. Thank you for the delicious cupcakes and wedding cake!
We bought our wedding cake from them, and it was soooo delicious. The cake looked gorgeous, they set it up without me having to worry about a thing, and all my guests loved it!
Everyone said that we had the best wedding cake ever!!! Friendly service from start to finish. We enjoyed our cake tasting as well. We chose Pistachio with Rasberry Cream and Chai spice with Cream Cheese filling. Delicious and beautiful cake!!
I ordered two cakes from Tres Belle for a 30th birthday party for my husband and good friend. Ordering was a breeze, the lady who helped me pick out the flavors was super sweet and gave me great advice. One of the cakes I ordered was a blue ombre rosette cake with blueberry cake and lemon curd filling, which I thought would definitely be the best of the two. Surprisingly, the cake that was suggested for a key lime pie lover; key lime cake with orange vanilla buttercream filling, was the real winner. Both cakes were amazing, dont get me wrong, but the suggestion was seriously on point. Thank you for making their birthdays special, I wont hesitate to order from Tres Belle again!
We ordered a cake for my parents 50th. I didnt expect many people to eat it since a lot of guests were older with dietary concerns, etc. IT. WAS. DEMOLISHED. People were raving about the cake. Im so glad we ordered from Tres Belle and cant wait for another excuse to buy a cake.

All I can can say is OMG! They make the most moist, delicious cake I have ever had. And I am a chef that has tasted a ton of wedding cakes in my time. They also have some unique flavors as well as great coffee, and a very personable experience at their little bakeshop. Small business doing it right!

I don’t think there are enough words to fully express my satisfaction with Tres Belle. I recently chose them to do our wedding cake for my wedding on 11.12.20 and let me just say how amazing it was to work with them. The process was so easy from booking the tasting appointment to the tasting itself, payment and picking up the cake. The staff were amazing, informative, friendly and answered all our questions. However, the best part was the deliciousness of the cakes. We loved almost everything we tried (didn’t care for the chocolate much but that was just due to personal preference). We ended up going with the pink champagne flavor for the top tier and lemon for the bottom. EVERYONE was raving about how amazing the cake was. FANTASTIC job Tres Belle. Keep it up!
Tres Belle did my wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Everyone was raving about how delicious the donuts were. My husband and I are not big cake fans so we had a dessert buffet with a donut wall. But included for free was a small cake anyways that we brought home and got to share with family who couldn’t make the wedding. Not only is the taste great, the presentation of the desserts precise, but the value for everything you get is second to none. We never ran out of any desserts and had a huge variety from donuts, cupcakes, brookies (chocolate and raspberry), turtles, buckeyes, and lemon bars. The staff is awesome to work with! I would recommend them everytime!! Thank you for being part of our special day!

Lots of dry model cakes on display, just two tables for seating inside during a scorching 91 F degrees Sunday, legend on coffee machine that reads: “Dark and moody as the owner”, which we could absolutely believe after the meh service. The cup cake tasted ok. Name in French and decoration in french style but lacks the care & love they put in their food. No fork with our cupcake, no one to ask for it. So much to fix guys.

This was the winner out of all the cake tastings weve done! Every other place was close, but didnt quite hit the mark. I do have high standards for my wedding as Ive got a well-seasoned sweet tooth. So, Im glad to have come across this perfect bakery.The cakes are light and moist. The buttercreams are smooth and rich! Guess who weve chosen for our eventual wedding cake? Thats right- Tres Belle Cakes!My fiance isnt usually one for sweets, but by the end of our tasting you could tell he was smitten. He made several remarks about how much easier this process was with these professionals, as well as the high quality of the cake. I cant wait to see what beautiful treat they create for our big day, as I know they will absolutely NAIL IT!
Great cakes and cupcakes. Never a bad experience. Its sometimes hard to get a hold of someone to get answers to questions or help take a special request cake order, but this place is a family favorite.

I had never ordered a cake from anywhere before but I am so glad that I did. We ordered a Deadpool theme Red Velvet cake with cream cheese filling for my Daughters 14th Birthday and I was very impressed with everything. The staff were very pleasant and professional. I ordered it Thursday afternoon and picked it up first thing Saturday morning. They did an excellent job on the design, it was perfect and more importantly it tasted AWESOME!!! Since then Ive spoke to several other people who have ordered from them and NOT ONE complaint. I would definitely recommend and I will order from them again.
Tres Belle ABSOLUTELY nailed my dream cake. She listened to every detail I requested and it was nothing shy of incredible even with my husbands crazy ideas of flavors. The guest were so impressed with the cake that they ate over half of it and were calling the next day to see where to go to get more lol. My cake matched everything so perfectly and she even let us use a circle cake stand that just topped everything off! I HIGHLY recommend!!
My wife and I stopped in for a coffee and treat and were very pleased with the entire experience. The staff are cheerful and attentive to their customers. When the coffee ran out, they quickly made a fresh pot for me! I suppose that I should mention the dessert choices too... AMAZING!I had a Chocolate Bomb cupcake and loved every single bite. We ordered a custom princess cake for my daughter’s first birthday and it was a horrible cake I have ever tasted in my life. It was a two tier cake, one layer chocolate and the other red velvet. Red velvet tasted as if they just added red color to the cake dough with a horrible taste to it. They charged us 175 dollars for the cake and it was a complete waste of money. All the guests complained about the cake tasting different and horrible. They did this to us as if we don’t know the taste of red velvet. Will never ever go here again. Bad product and over priced
Tres Belle catered our daughters wedding. The pink champagne wedding cake with buttercream frosting is definitely the best wedding cake Ive ever had! We ordered quite a variety of cupcake flavors, and its hard to pick a favorite. I highly recommend Tres Belle. Everything went as planned and they were wonderful to work with.
Tres Belle did AMAZING throughout the wedding experience! They handled dropping off everything without any questions. They had minimal direction on how to decorate 2 tables of dessert buffet and they did soooo good. I wish i had a photo. Also, its important to note that there was only ONE solid fee for any amount of rental pieces (we had 18 i think- cost was the same as one rental). Again, it was incredible easy to work with them AND YOU HAVE TO TRY PISTACHIO CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE GANACHE! its worth it :)
Tres Belle made our wedding cake and mini cupcakes for our big day! Not only was our cake beautiful, but everything tasted absolutely amazing. Owner rushed my fiancé and I through a cake tasting. She had no interest in talking design once she found out our wedding cake was going to be small. Cake was just ok, customer service was pathetic. Overall, do not recommend.

While their business is primarily in wedding and special event cakes, the cupcakes that we tried were splendid. Also, they currently have reward cards for both beverages and cupcakes. They have healthier options available too and also serve lunch. In the brief time I was there, a super satisfied client came in and was amazed at how they had meticulously matched her order to look like their invitations. That was really cool to witness her excitement and joy! Will definitely be visiting again.
I hired Tres Belle for my wedding this past summer and it was absolutely spectacular. We tasted at quite a few different places before making our decision, but Tres Belle was by far the best in the city and the customer service cannot be beat. Our cake was truly a work of art and our guests are still raving about it!
Wow what a find! They make the best GF cake options and pull apart cakes. We had a 1yr old cake smash animal theme and then a pull apart duck cake. They did an epic job and its soo tasty!! They also make fantastic hot cocoas!
Our wedding was 7/28/18 and the cupcakes from Tres Belle were DELICIOUS!! They were so fresh, and they added whatever color icing/decor on the cupcakes to match our colors at no additional charge. I had so many guests asking where the cupcakes were from and they had nothing but great things to say!
The cake was delicious and decorated so beautifully. They had great customer service in the store and over the phone. I also ordered a chai latte and it was amazing with so much flavor.
Tres Belle Cakes has made several birthday cakes for me and my family. Every cake I have ever ordered from them has been both delicious and beautiful. Our favorites so far have been german chocolate cake with salted caramel filling, and a white chocolate macadamia nut tiered cookie cake. Their pricing is very reasonable, and the team is easy to work with. I highly recommend Tres Belle Cakes for all your cake needs!
Cake for our wedding was very delicious. The only thing I would advise is the staff delivering the cake be a little less rude. My husband and I were already stressed setting up, and we did not appreciate the attitude we got about our stand being to small and our flower topper too big. When in fact both fit perfectly. My husband listened to the complaining of our cake stand and topper while staring at a cake that was the complete wrong color. It was fixed before they left. Im assuming the order sheet was double checked, because we didnt say anything. Taste is what matters in the end and the chocolate was delicious.
Went for our wedding cake tasting. One of the employees with dark purple hair approached us without introducing herself and just started asking questions. My friend had to stop her and tell her our names. You know, formalities? Fiance needed to use the restroom before we started. Weve been running around all afternoon! They told us to go to the McDonalds across the street! We ended up just stopping the tasting and leaving. Very disappointing! How can you concentrate on which wedding cake you like and go over details with a full bladder? So far planning this wedding has been a breeze with all of our vendors. This was the 1st bad experience since I started and that left me feeling very upset. Customer service is everything to me!
We only stopped in here for donuts but they were amazing!! Such a cool little shop off of Reading Road. They have macarons, cupcakes, donuts, cookies, and more! My girlfriend and I were having a hard time even picking three donuts because everything looked so good 😅. I need to go back and try some of their cake because that is what they’re known for. As far as their donuts, A+!
They created the perfect and most delicious cake for my dads 70th! The hand painted silhouette scenes brought tears to his eyes. I’m so pleased with how it turned out and how seamless the ordering and communication was, highly recommend. I’d love to post pictures but can’t figure out how to do it, so let me know if ya know!
A few weeks ago, I visited Tres Belles for the first time. I ordered a latte and quite a few cupcakes. The Honey Lavender was my favorite by far and the decoration was simply beautiful. There was a blonde woman working at the register. She made the latte and it was absolutely delicious! She was very friendly and a joy to interact with. I will definitely be back!! Love the place!
We absolutely adore Tres Belle Cakes and love Tracy! She takes great care of our couples and everything is always so beautiful and YUMMY! From wedding cakes to anniversary cakes to birthdays, she takes care of us for wedding clients and for our personal events. We always recommend Tracy. I had a cupcake that was giant and delicious. The coffee was great and a large is the largest Ive ever seen. For sure will be back to try all the flavors. Other people in our group had pastries which were also tasty. Highly recommend. Seating area is big enough for a group of 6max probably.

Tres belle is amazing! The only bad thing I can think of is that its taken me this long to write a review. Last August Tracy provided a cake as well as a variety of mini desserts for our wedding reception. Her and her staff were always available, accommodating and patient with my husband and I with every request that we made. Even with the custom cake flavors we chose and the many changes to the what desserts we wanted to serve. They were so helpful and we never felt like she was trying to upsale with additional items. Our family and friends still tell us how great the desserts were at our reception. Ive also used tres belle to make my husbands birthday cake. They were able to make it taste just like a Milky Way candy bar. Weve basically decided Tres Belle is our go to bakery for events we have at our home. Sometimes we go in there just to try any new cupcake flavors.
Its a feast of sugar! Catering to weddings on a cake / cupcake level (mostly cupcakes) but very high quality and delicious filled flavors! Set in the bridal district of Reading, its a must stop for your special day if you want simple elegance. The variety is high and details are plenty!
I have been using Tracy and Tres Belle since 2013. I have gone to her for all my dessert needs. She did my bridal shower cake, multiple cakes for my wedding, two baby shower cakes plus not to mention the countless times my family has been in to purchase an afternoon cupcake or even a whole cake. So, when it was time for my friends baby shower, I knew exactly who I was going to call. I ordered a themed cake, call to confirm it was received and let them know when I would pay for it. The Friday before my Wednesday pick-up confirmed the order again and went over the design with one of the workers (I can’t remember her name but she was wonderful! No complaints there!). Wednesday we cut into the beautifully decorated marble cake and see only yellow cake. Chocolate was no where to be seen. After slicing several pieces, we found one piece that maybe could of been chocolate swirl but honestly we weren’t impressed. So embarrassed after how much I built up the anticipation of this bakery, I called that day to let them know it was not a true marble cake and one of bakers said she would let the owner, Tracy, know. Come Friday: still no call back, so I called again. Tracy was out on a delivery but she called me back and spent a solid 3 minutes defending her work saying she guarantees it was right because she made it herself when she came in on her off day to make it. I tried to tell her I appreciate the effort and do not mean to offend but it wasn’t right. She bluntly asked what do you want out of this and I said I was hoping you could make another cake and she said no. We aren’t making you another cake. I said OK... could I be reimbursed. She said I’m not reimbursing you. I know there was chocolate in the cake. I said yes, but it was a small amount and not a marble cake. To stop the back and forth (honestly I was getting upset at this point) I said I would come in and show you what the cake looked like inside. She said Ok. I went in yesterday and showed her the picture and she said “the best I can offer you is $20 credit for a future cake”. That’s not even what I paid for the cake!Can’t believe after 5 years of praise and dedication I given this place, the treatment I got this week. I understand it’s wedding season but if there wasn’t time to make the cake, they had plenty of chances to tell me. I don’t think I’ll be recommending this bakery anytime soon and it truly breaks my heart to say this but when the owner herself gives you horrible costumer service - what else are you suppose to do?
Great place to get coffee and place an order for a wedding cake. People there are really nice. Wait for a big holiday and they might have some off colored items for sale. Best holiday for those are Valentines, Halloween and Christmas. Only get those if your sense of humor is off as theirs is.
Brides beware!!! I put down a deposit with Tres Belle Cakes over 3 months before my wedding. I stopped in the bakery at least 5 or 6 times to try different cake flavors and finalize design details, paid the final balance a week before my wedding date, and called 2 days before my wedding to confirm everything. As I am getting ready to walk down the aisle, my venue coordinator tells me THE CAKE HAD NOT ARRIVED!!! This was at 7:30pm, and the cake was supposed to be there at 5:30pm. They had forgotten about my cake!!! Thankfully my venue coordinator got on the phone, reached someone at the bakery, and they did finally deliver a cake by 9pm in time for the cutting, but the cake was not as I had ordered. I imagine they baked the layers beforehand, forgot about it, and then rushed to get something out to me after their horrible negligence was brought to their attention. The sugar flowers were just stuck in the cake in a non-attractive way, and they were not the right colors (I had even brought them photos and swatches well beforehand). They also did not bring the cake pedestal I had picked out (and paid a deposit on)- the cake was just on a piece on foam board. The cake looked awful. I had always wanted a gorgeous cake for my wedding, and I had spent so much time researching designs and flavors- to end up with what I did was horribly upsetting. I would have been better off ordering a blank cake from Krogers and having my florist put fresh flowers on it. I had to leave for my Honeymoon the morning after my wedding, so my Mom called to try and get my money back. They only agreed to refund half, and were not even initially going to refund my deposit for the cake pedestal (which they didnt bring!) until she called back again. I will never step foot inside this bakery again, and would highly recommend you look elsewhere for a cake so you do not have the same awful experience I did.
I love these ladies and I have never met them... They made my wedding cake only from pictures, emails and phone calls. The cake was exactly what I wanted and it tasted AMAZING! If you are on the fence about picking a bakery for your wedding cake, STOP here and give these ladies your business you will never regret it! :)
Terry was wonderful! The three tier cake was beautiful in its simplicity and complicated the bride and grooms cake perfectly. Which at the last minute was told to us couldnt be made by the designated bridesmaid a week before the wedding. I called Tres Belle told them of my plight and they stepped up to the plate without hesitation making the cake beautifully and exactly how the bride pictured it! Terry and her crew are unbelievable! Im forever grateful! Thank you so much!!!! Oh, all three flavors and fillings were devoured: strawberry cake with strawberry filling, lemon cake with blueberry filling, and chocolate cake with yellow custard fillling. MMMMMMMM!!!!!!
The staff is amazing and the cupcakes are the best Ive ever gotten in Cincinnati! The cupcake/frosting ratio is perfect. So many other cupcake places have so much frosting on top of the tiniest piece of cake. Tres Belle does not skimp on the cake. The cupcakes really are as big as they look in the pictures. They make a large sample everyday so you dont have to pre order if youre looking for a dozen or so.They have some lunch specials too and you can tell everything is homemade and made w care!
I recently hosted a baby shower and placed an order for cupcakes only 2 1/2 days before the date. She was able to take my order over the phone and have the cupcakes ready for pick-up when I arrived. Simply Fantastic! A lot of the people at the baby shower asked where I got the cupcakes and where the bakery was located.
Tres Belle has THE best cupcakes!! I live in The same town & go there once a week for my fav, the black raspberry chocolate chip cupcakes. AmAzInG!Best & friendly staff every time I go in.Sandwiches, soups, coffee, etc. in a quaint little shop make it the gem that it is, whether youre perusing for wedding purposes or ANY day!
I cant say enough good about this place. They did our wedding cake, and make an anniversary cake every year for a very fair price. Dine in, take out, get a cake decorated - whatever you choose, they will make you highly satisfied with your purchase.Love love love this place!
The space is so cute, the food display so enticing, and my iced coffee was on point. The pastries tasted a little too commercial, like they were made in advance and refrigerated for awhile. There werent many customers in the shop but thet got overwhelmed easily and messed up 2 simple orders. I would go back, but Id opt for the nearby Wyoming pastry shop first.
Tres Belle was incredible to work with! We felt so lucky to find a cake vendor that was not only affordable but open to our ideas and designs. Tracy and the Tres Belle team exceeded our expectations across the board. Our guests are still raving about the cake and we are already counting down the days until our first anniversary cake. Recently ordered 50 cupcakes for a 40th birthday party and they turned out amazing. I was impressed not only by the amount of options (over 40 different flavors), but also the unique flavors offered including Black Raspberry Chip and Key Lime.We ended up getting dark chocolate, classic white, black raspeberry chip, and key lime. All were a hit!We will be back, whether it is for a quick cup of coffee and sweet treat like a cookie and macaroon, or for something more substanstial like a party cake or order of cupcakes.
Definitely recommend! Showed a picture of what I wanted for my daughters 2nd Luau themed Birthday party...& the cake they made me looked dead on, and even better! The taste was Amazing, and the staff is wonderful. Very pleased!

The cupcake was enjoyed by my daughter, but my mocha latte was way too hot. And there are no restrooms: my 4 yo daughter & I had to race out of there because she had to go! Its kinda hard to sit and relax in the café after something like that.
Oh gosh, so glad I dont live closer! Id be in there all the time. They have great cupcakes, pastries, and just the best macarons! Also, they make Unicorn Hot Chocolate, complete with edible glitter - and it actually tastes good, so Starbucks can shove it lol
We had 2 meetings and they knew exactly what I was looking for. My cake turned out absolutely amazing and it was one thing that I didn’t need to worry about the day of! They also have a variety of flavors and mine was amazing!! I can’t thank them enough!

Last minute needed a cake for a sweet 16 bday back in December. They did an absolute fantastic job. The cake was beautifully done, tasted great and was a hit by all the party goers. Cant wait to use TresBelle again

First time in! I stopped in to buy a friend a cupcake for his birthday - a Chocolate Bomb! I accidentally ate it.....OMG, da bomb!!! Thank goodness youre open on Sunday so I can get a replacement!

2022-05-28Tres Belle made our daughters wedding cake a month ago....great to work with.... delivered exactly what we wanted. Daughter & new son in law mentioned they didnt get any cake beyond that bite for photos....so for their 1 month anniversary I purchased a smaller version....another great cake!! Check them out if youre looking for a baker for your wedding or any occasion!

2022-06-20Tres Belle made a three-tier pistachio cake with almond buttercream for our wedding and it was AMAZING. They decorated it exactly as I imagined. We couldn’t have been happier with our cake! They also brought the cake stand in the photo and we’re so happy we rented that. It was perfect with our decor.

2022-05-05Tres Belle Cakes knocked it out of the park for our wedding from our first contact with them onward. The tasting was DELICIOUS and well curated (better than other bakeries we tried in the area). Tracy gave good explanations, let us try our top flavors again at the final details consultation to lock it all in, and took all of our inspiration and specs to deliver something beautiful and oh so very tasty. My only regret is not being able to try our top layer at all because our caterer served the entire thing... But anyway, dont tell me how many calories are in this these things, because I will definitely be bringing future celebrations to Tres Belle. 🤤

2022-04-18We were so impressed with our amazing wedding cake created by Tres Belle Cakes! Everyone at our wedding could not stop talking about how great the cake was, and it looked stunning too. They were able to bring the cake to our reception when we needed it, they supplied us with a gorgeous cake stand, let us choose as many flavor combinations as we wanted, and created an amazing, delicious cake for us. They were so easy and nice to work with, very accommodating, and we would highly recommend them!!

My daughter on the other hand can’t stop talking about it and says it’s one of the best places ever. Thank you for the kind courteous service as well.

2022-02-16First of all, I must say that this is obviously a place that mostly does wedding cakes. We came here after a Google search for coffee shops in the area. So I am only reviewing the coffee and the service. The place is small, but very nice. The bakery case looked amazing with plenty of yummy things to choose from (we ordered a few macarons and a cheese danish, which were delicious). My husband had taken a seat at one of the two tables in the shop. Unfortunately we were told by an employee (and in a not so friendly way) that the tables were reserved for tastings only and we could not stay, even though there was nobody there. So we took our mocha and cappuccino to go. Both were scalding hot and unfortunately not very good. We ended up throwing them away. So again, my review is based solely on the coffee. The sweets we ordered were great and the cupcakes and cakes that we saw looked amazing.

2020-06-10This fantastic bakery is owned by someone so sweet (no pun intended) and creative! They made my wedding cake/dessert dreams come true. They executed my design vision perfectly and made helpful suggestions. When there was a flavor I really wanted to try (that wasn’t part of the cake tasting) they made a batch of cupcakes the next day just so I could try it! This bakery is amazing at what they do and will take great care of you. They also have wonderful goodies every day at their shop.

2019-12-23Unique, one-of-a-kind cakes and delicious coffee. This is a special little shop you must see if you are any type of cake, cupcake or Local-shop connoisseur. The cake we got for my brother’s birthday was shaped like the abominable snowman! Lol! There was a pumpkin cake at Halloween too. I think it has a wedding cake award too from the Knot.
