Steve was a big help, he knew his trade and helped me pick out a perfect bike. Dual Sport 4.Also the place is amazing for accessories. A one stop (well stocked) shop.Update:Pics March 20, 2021Went tubeless tires this spring, with narrower tires, switched from 40mm (originals) to 35 mm. I can tell already the road is less jarring, more confident around sharp turns, great traction on and off road.
Isaac and his store were great working with me on a new bike purchase. They even turned their store into a velodrome during a snow event so they could test their build-my buy before I drove 3 hours to pick it up. Would make the same decision to buy here 11 times out of 10.
Havent had a new bike in over 30 years. Wanted to look for a bike that was comfortable, affordable and looked nice. Chris greeted my wife and I and was super helpful. He was awesome! He helped me find exactly what i was looking for in a bike. Chris explained all of the features and benefits of the Verve 2. Fitted me with the correct size frame. I loved it. And my wife, Kim, also loved it and we ended up buying 2 bikes. Chris made our shopping and buying experience enjoyable. I would highly recommend dealing with Chris if you are looking to purchase a new bike.Mike & Kim Taylor
I knew a year ago I would be purchasing a new bike. I looked at the various options/manufacturers and settled on the Trek Domane SL7. I visited the Trek Store in Dublin, OH and was met by Jordan Bodwell. Jordan was great to work with and helped me find the best bike for my needs.
We had the best all-around experience from your Trek store! We had to order our bikes but Cam was great about it and helped us find the style we wanted. He originally told us they probably wouldnt be in until August so we were surprised to get the call saying they were ready in May! When we got to the store to pick them up, Cam helped us again and got us fitted for our bikes and helped us with the test ride. He also helped us pick accessories. Then Nate was helping us also because we brought an old Trek bike we had in for a service quote. Both Nate and Cam were wonderful. We even enjoyed a beer while we waited for our accessories to be put on our bikes. Then when they were finished, Nate showed us how to take the front wheel off and put the brake stopper in while the wheel was off. Then Nate and another young man who I cant remember his name, walked our bikes out to our car and helped load them nicely. Everything from start to finish was wonderful! I highly recommend your store and especially Cam and Nate!
Trek purchase and Dublin store.Update information from this Trek store is not helpful. Made a purchase with delivery stated to be June 7 and with repeated update inquiries it’s now June 19 and all store contacts lack any info on current status. It seems the Trek logistics system either lacks accurate information or store representatives can’t access timely updates.Initial sales process was smooth. Results at the moment are unknown. Recent call connected me with the sales manager. That person committed I would hear back today or tomorrow. Hope for a reliable update.6-30-2021 UPDATESales manager Isaac was very helpful and located a bike perfect as an alternative. Picked up and Evelyn will be happy. She test rode yesterday. Thanks to Isaac for all the effort in delivery of her new Townie bike!
You wrote a review for Trek Bicycle Store of Columbus23 hours ago5.0 star rating3/12/2018I dont know where to start to say how great of a Bike Store this is!!!!Everyone is super helpful and knowledgeable. Chris F. spent a bunch of time with me and did a Precision Fit he sized me up for a new Project One Domane SLR, I was very anxious to get on it and take it for a ride. I was more than confident I was on the correct size bike frame, handle bar shape and size, stem, and crank length. The service dept is awesome, this team of mechanics is top notch and up to date on all the new items out their, have never felt so confident in a group in many years. I have had them take my previous Madone and upgrade it to DI2 from mechanical, which worked flawlessly. Now My new Domane came in and Matt and his staff built the Project one from ground up for me and it works and looks awesome, and unbelievably comfortable, bike was set up according to my Precision fit. I took it for a ride and have never been this satisfied with a bike in my life. If you are looking for a bike and can get into this Trek Store location it will be really worth it. If you need your bike serviced in any way this is the place to go.I wont shop or have my bike serviced anywhere else. Thanks Chad and all his staff for there Great Assistance.
I was in town for the day for business and they had a black Marlin 5 that I’ve been looking for. Bike was still in the box when I ordered it online and I was only in town for the day. They rushed the bike to the front of the line to get it assembled and ready before the end of the day before I headed back up to Cleveland. Top tier customer service and the adult beverages in the waiting area are a great perk as well! Highly recommend.
No matter what my issue or question is, they always take care of me. I feel like they truly value my business, which is rare these days. Every person Ive dealt with at Trek has been incredibly friendly and helpful. This type of customer service really makes me want to keep buying Trek!
Having visited Trek Bicycle Columbus Dublin numerous times, the team is always found to be engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. Trek provides quality bicycles, but in sales it is the customer relationships that strengthen brand and customer loyalty, which this store does quite well.
I love the service I receive at the Trek Columbus store in Sawmill Plaza in Columbus. Ive been going to this store for over 10 years and is my top choice for anything cycling in Columbus Ohio. All staff have always been respectful and very helpful, taking the time to educate and not just sell. I also have utilized the Trek Warranty (best in the business) twice and they were super helpful in explaining options and helping with the decisions.I feel like my bikes and I matter when I go to this store.I also want to call out Matt at this store for his superior customer service and his unending detailed knowledge that he willingly provides every time Im lucky enough to interact with him. He goes above and beyond to make sure I understand and am comfortable with the services and products provided.I also love love, love the Thanksgiving-eve sale event, and end up buying a ton of merchandise and interacting with the Trek employees and customers, having a great time.Lastly, you cant beat the quality and style of a Trek bicycle, their warranty, and the services provided by the techs.
I waited for 7 years to buy a bike... I finally did it in 2019. I got an FX3 and that was the beginning. All the employees in the store were cyclists and help me find products that were good for me. I then purchased a number of addon items to dress out my bike plus clothing and other electronic gear. The products at the the Trek shop are designed to work together and fit. I know other people try to get stuff off the internet and some works and some doesnt. It is really convenient to buy things that were designed to work with Trek. I took my bike back for service over the winter and had it tuned up and had some things fixed. It was great to be ready to go early in the spring. Im at 500 miles plus and counting!
I have always been pleased with the quality of Trek BIkes, Ive just now purchased my fourth and havent ridden anything else as an adult. Ive bought three of those at Trek Store Dublin. The customer service Ive encountered is off the charts: patient, knowledgeable, kind, willing to work with you no matter where you are, whether seasoned or newbie. And I havent found the kind of cooler than you vibe that I sometimes find at other shops - at Trek its all about service and helping the customer to find the right ride, the right accessory, whatever. It honestly seemed a miracle that I found exactly the bike I was looking for: in these days of high demand and low supply, Id almost given up buying my new gravel bike until maybe September of next year. I walked in to the Dublin store, at a loose end for a few minutes, and was stunned to find that they had just received the model I was looking for, in the color I most wanted. Jordan worked with me and got things set up so that I could get my bike. The next day Isaac worked with me on the front end, and Dan, the builder, on the back end, to get everything set for me to take delivery of my bike. Isaac worked back and forth with me on the final details through the day, texting back and forth with options, prices, pictures, details, recommendations. This all helped me to make those decisions during breaks while I was still working, and then spend less time on the shop floor when I arrived, which was a huge help.It was all brilliant! I had a great experience, and am very happy that Ill be able to get out and enjoy some touring and gravel riding early next year. Thanks, Trek!
I purchased the 2021 Trek DS 4, over the phone, from Jordan. He made sure I was getting the bike I was looking for and asked questions to make sure the bike was right for me. He took the time to recommend accessories, I had not thought about. I drove 4 hours to pick up my bike and the pick up process was painless. When I arrived at the store, Jordan was busy, so Isaac took care of me. He made my bike ready and took the time to make sure it was fitted for me. Even though the store is 4 hours away, the staff made it worth my time. I HIGHLY recommend them.
The Trek Store in Dublin saved Christmas for our son! We had ordered a bike for him back in September from a local bike shop and found out the week of Christmas that it wasnt going to arrive in time. I called the Trek store only a few days before Christmas and Jordon went above and beyond to take care of us. He was our Santa Claus this year! We will never hesitate to purchase Trek bikes from this store and will recommend to others as well. They have gained lifelong customers!
It is the place to go if you want the bike that fit perfectly to your need! The sales take their time to give you advises and for them biking is first of all a passion. It is the first time for me that I find a store where I enjoy to spend my money!Super magasin, super conseils, une très belle équipe de passionnés!
I purchased a new marlin 7 while being in the Dublin location to get a competitors bike worked on. While there I asked about a trade in and ended up trading in a bike I had owned for less than 6 months on the marlin 7. The dealer support and customer support offered by trek is amazing and the people working in the stores I have visited have been professional, knowledgeable, welcoming, and helpful. They are certainly going to get more business from me in the future
The bikes and accessories are great, but its the service and store atmosphere at my shop that makes me decide to purchase here vs. online or at another store. Just very friendly, knowledgeable, and above all else, helpful... Even when there isnt a big sale to be made.
I have worked in the customer service industry for many years, and I understand the value of providing excellent service. As a result, I tend to have high expectations. With that being said, I had one of the best overall customer service experiences Ive ever had from the team at Trek. Each person Ive worked with was patient, knowledgeable, and honest. I worked extensively with Steven and Shane as well as Chad. I visited 3 other bike stores in the Columbus area and none came close to providing me with the exceptional experience I had with the Trek team.I ended up making a substantial purchase that I feel very confident about. I initially walked in knowing nothing about biking and left with useful working knowledge about my bike and how to care for it. These guys really care about their customers and make recommendations based on your needs with attention to safety.Im now a lifelong customer. Thanks Steven, Shane, and Chad!
Had a great experience shopping for a new bike with Griff as the salesperson. He was great at listening first and giving ideas for when you should consider something. Even during the pandemic, the staff here (especially Griff) was willing to put in the time to make sure you get the right fit. I tried a couple other local shops. Only one other (Roll:Dublin) was willing to put in the time to make sure you get the right bike, while the others gave one word answers and tried to get you in and out as quickly as possible. The bikes are top notch as I have owned 3 treks previously and all three (one from the mid-90s) are still rolling and working. That said, the people at this location are even better.
This is the kind of place you WANT to do business. Kelly, the staff that has taken care of me, is the BEST! Really a bike-shop-rock-star IMHO! He listened to me and was thoughtful about his recommendations. He followed up with me after my initial visit, and I was able to be honest about what I wanted and the price point I was comfortable with. He took my wish list and brought it to life! I did a test drive today and the bike he picked out for me was PERFECT! I wont take my bike business anywhere else. I am so impressed with the product, but even more impressed with Kelly, his professionalism and knowledge. Great customer service! Great store! Certainly worthy of stopping by to check them out. You wont be disappointed. Highly, HIGHLY, recommended!
Great experience buying my new bike at this store. I had shopped at 4 other stores last Saturday and had test rode my bike that morning. Very helpful friendly staff, clean showroom, and they were following Covid 19 guidelines. When I had made the decision to buy that bike later that day they had already closed. I called Sunday Morning and Jordan put my bike on hold until I could get there. I was very thankful because inventory everywhere is so low. Thanks again, I love my new bike 😊
Amazing shop. The store was packed when we got there but we were still greeted and an associate got with us very quickly. The staff was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Great experience for getting my sons first bike without training wheels. Top quality product and the kids trade up program will be wonderful as he gets older. We will certainly be back.
The service was excellent! I went in to get a new wheel for my road bike and ended up getting to mount the tire and tube myself! I told Jordan I didnt know how to change a tire by myself and he was more than happy to walk me through the process. Im so glad I have such an awesome local bike shop.
My son and I were first time customers Trek Bicycle Columbus Dublin. We are new to mountain biking and started our search for new bikes there. Stephen greeted us upon entry, listened to our story and immediately set out sizing us for bikes and then showing us options in our price range. We then set out test riding a few models. Stephen answered all of our questions and even gave us a quote for two new bikes. We shopped around and decided the quality of the Trek bikes in our price range were superior to others we tried. We also liked Stephens knowledge and helpfulness. We returned and ordered our bikes, Stephen helped us pick out pedals and accessories. We picked them up in less than a week without any issues. I will add that when we returned to pick up the bikes we received the same helpfulness from the other store associates. I feel that this store has friendly knowledgeable personnel and a great selection of bikes and accessories.
The service at Trek Bicycle in Dublin was phenomenal. I took my daughters Electra Townie bike in to have the chain tightened. They fixed it in a few minutes. I bought a basket and a bell for the bike and realized they didnt even charge me for the chain repair. They said no worries! Awesome service! Will definitely be back.
The bike I purchased is the most comfortable Ive ever ridden. The build quality is amazing and its obvious that it will be the bike I ride for the next 20 years. The staff at the Trek Columbus store on Sawmill Parkway in Dublin was incredible. From the day I walked in looking for my first road bike to the day the sale was made, Kelly Eager showed what a sales person should do to make the customer happy, no matter what commodity. The store went beyond my expectations for getting a bike in from across the country for me just to test ride to making sure I was properly fit to the bike to making the sale. Great experience.
After purchasing my first Trek road bike last summer, I have completely trusted Trek Dublin to service my bike. The service department is top notch and is always open with me about what needs to be repaired. Not only is the service department outstanding, but the sales people are extremely helpful. They really know their stuff and are very approachable. Dont go anywhere else for your bike needs!
I’m visiting from out of town but planning on buying a bike soon and came in to take a look. Isaac fit me for a frame, listened carefully to what I was looking for, and let me test ride a great bike even knowing I wouldn’t be able to purchase same day. I really appreciated his time and expertise and I will most likely be buying a Trek hybrid to complement my Trek road bike soon!
I have been to Trek Bicycle twice now, and each time, I have had amazing service! The first time (@5 years ago), I was trying to figure out how to set up my folding bike. Id been to another store that basically said, We dont carry that. Cant help you. At Trek Bicycle, the response was more Cool! Ive never seen one of those in person. Lets check it out and get you going! This time (last week), I needed new tires and tubes for my old Schwinn, and again, even though they dont carry that brand, they helped me find the tires I needed and went above and beyond to answer my questions and help me learn to care for my bike properly.Honestly, this place has the best customer service of any store Ive been to in Columbus (not just for bikes), and I will never go anywhere else for bicycle care or help!
I bought a very nice bike a few days ago. They were slammed at the time and with the quarantine issue I had to make an appointment, but still had to wait, which wasnt a big deal at the time, but did add to my frustrations. Because they were slammed I took my bike home to install my own accessories which the very helpful salesman helped me pick out, which was simple and he gave me a few tips which turned out to be helpful. Now, I shop local as best I can and dont generally give bad reviews but my front gear shifter just didnt work when I took it for a ride today and I was very upset (legitimately Very mad), I replied to Treks email request for a review and was honest about how upset I was, and that I wouldnt be driving back to Sawmill, I would just fix it myself. The manager was on the phone with me the same day (today), sent a truck to get my bike, fixed my bike after work hours, and had it back to me the same day (today).Absolutely would recommend their store, plus the Emonda ALR4 is a sweet, light, and almost uncomfortably fast bike. Very happy with my purchase and with the store, they nailed it, and Im gonna smash my last triathlon times. 5 stars.
The mechanics and sales team were very accommodating and answered every question to the fullest. They made sure that I had just the right bike and patiently waited on me while I took multiple test rides. My purchase even ended with an associate helping me load my bike on my bike rack and giving me tips about the best type of rack for my bike. Also, my new bike is the best. I was very concerned that I would never find a bike with a ride as nice as my Cannondale. I was extremely pleased when I tested it on one of my favorite bike trails. It is, without a doubt, the best bike I’ve ever owned. 100% worth the money.
We have shopped at the Trek Store on Sawmill Road in Dublin since the day it first opened more than 14+ years ago. Weve always had good service, but our last experience was exceptional. The new configuration of the store allows for a better bike fitting experience, merchandizing in the store makes it easier to find what you need, and the service department took care of our bike needs and got our bikes in top shape for the start of the riding season. The best, though, is the top-notch staff. In all our years of doing business there, Im not sure theres been a more qualified, knowledgeable and attentive group of employees. Weve shopped other bike shops--no one else comes close.
The staff was incredibly helpful at helping me find the type of bike and setup that was best for my kind of recreational bike riding. If youre looking to buy a bike now that will last the rest of your life, I would certainly recommend seeing the experts at here at Trek!
I bought my first road bike from the Trek store (on Sawmill) last fall and had a great experience with the salesman (Mikey) finding the right bike, pedals, shoes, etc.I just took my bike in for my first tune-up (after the initial break-in period) and the mechanic (Paul) was awesome... he went over the bike thoroughly and explained the adjustments that he made to it. And he took the time to listen to and answer all my questions.Very passionate people!
I had a great experience today at the Dublin Trek Store. I simply went in to purchase a tire tube after the valve broke. One of the salespeople, Nate, must have noticed I had no idea what I was doing so he offered to fix the tire for me. Nate was kind and patient enough to walk me through the process of how to fix a tire. Nate not only saved me a lot of time today, but he got me back home earlier so I could go on a bike ride with my son. Nate...you made my day. Thank you!
From the time I entered the door at Trek Bicycle Dublin, through my “test drives” until I excitedly drove off with my new bike in the back of my car, the sales staff made my entire experience as wonderful as it could be. Each member of the team was knowledgeable, patient, professional, courteous and made purchasing my new Trek bike lot of fun.
Zack, the bicycle mechanic is my hero! Just before the Fredericksberg, OH Library Roll was due to start he fixed my pedals, which were out of alignment & went over my whole bike; tightening up everything that was loose. And then he fit my new Selle Anatomica saddle to me & my bike. I wouldnt have been able to do the ride without him.
I am very disappointed to receive such a reply to my complaint. Naturally there is no history. I moved from Georgia in June. I always bought my bike at the Atlanta Cycling Ansley. They know me And the staff was wonderful. I dont need any excuses anymore. I wont go here.
I’m a first time Trek owner and I love my bike! It’s a very comfortable and smooth ride. The staff at this store is top notch!! Mason is very knowledgeable and thorough and did a remarkable job of educating me on my options. I’m looking forward to putting many miles on my Verve 2!
I had a great time at this trek store. The people that work here are professionals and super kind. I got a quick check up and the technician Paul that fixed and tuned my bike was awesome and went out of his way to fix it. I would be glad to come back and possibly buy a new bike here in the near future.
Just purchased a Trek Domane from Dublin Trek store. The experience was outstanding. Chad and the team were very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great buying experience and Trek is great product. Visited other bike shops in the area, but the Trek team won me over! I can’t wait for the weather to change so I can ride.
I havent been on a bike for close to 30 years and I knew nothing of what the biking world was like now. Stephen taught me what I needed to know to make an informed decision as well as find the right size of bike for me. TREK is my bike and Sawmill is my store. I highly recommend this store. Thank you!
A week ago I traveled from near Toledo to purchase a new bike. Bad experience with the local bike shop in Whitehouse, OH. Couldnt be happier with my decision. Found an excellent shop with a staff that treats you with amazing courtesy and friendliness. Thanks Isaac and Stephen great service from you both! One week now with the Domane Sl6 and I couldnt be happier. Thanks again guys see you soon for service.
I had a fantastic experience at the Trek store in Dublin Ohio. I was having an issue with a bike a purchased a few years ago and Chad went out of his way to assure I had a bike the worked well for me. I could not be happier. I recommend Chad and his team for anyone considering a new bicycle or anyone in need of out of the box thinking to meet your personal needs.
The service at this location is great! They sold me a 2019 Marlin 7 which I am completely in love with, silky smooth ride. Any and all questions I have had regarding upgrades and accessories have been carefully thought over and they have catered to my every need. I will happily continue to purchase from here again and again for the foreseeable future.
I like that when I buy a Trek bike for my son, they handle all the service adjustments and fix the minor problems that i have with the bike. I like that they explain what they are doing and help me to understand what I need to do next. This time the brake wire needed lubed so that they worked better. They are honest and reliable and service my bikes as if they were their own.
We decided to replace our bike fleet this week and picked up a few Marlins and a Roscoe for the family. We spoke with a fun and knowledgeable fella named Jordan. As always, the sales staff was wonderful and Jordan even more than most. We ran this guy around for over an hour before finally making choices and getting wrapped up. In the end we met a new sales guy, got the right bikes for the job and best of all we are on our way to a biking weekend in Southern Ohio with our new rides.Side note: Jordan Needs to Mod His Tacoma...😬
The Trek Store in Dublin, Ohio, has it completely together, all the parts are working together, smoothly. I can’t express how grateful I am for all of the people who have helped me over the years with my favorite machines, my trek bikes. This time it was after I had a serious fall last week. I was pretty sure my five year old Trek was history. I called Dublin Trek and was immediately and kindly reassured by Chad that they could help. He did what any great retail representative should do, he got me off the phone and into the store. There Matt took over with an unbelievably precise examination of my entire bike. Not only could they repair the break but suggested an outstanding overhaul after my five or six thousand miles I clocked on the bike. Less than twenty-four hours later I picked up my “new” Domane Series 4. A quick 20 miles and it performed like a dream. Having had a pretty good head strike I also picked up a new XXX helmet that Chad properly fitted for me. Sean wrapped up the sale, then, just to ice the cake, Chad sent me out the door on an E bike. It is not a matter of will I buy one, it’s just a matter of when I’ll buy one. You can bet it will be from Chad, Matt and Sean at Dublin, Ohio Trek, the best bike store around. I thought you should know.I am grateful. Mike Cleary
On this visit, I didnt purchase anything, but moving forward this will be my go to spot for all my biking needs. Extremely friendly staff, very concerning and personal. Plus they have a very friendly dog there to greet you!I was on the search for a bike seat to replace a used one on a donated bike, giving to an adopted family for Christmas. Not only did I leave with a seat but also a used bike that will help make some little girl very happy this Christmas! Thank you again for your help and your contribution back to our community. My wife and I greatly appreciate your help!
Overall experience was great. My wife and I are not experienced bike riders and walked in with a lot of questions. A sales associate name Griff welcomed us as soon as we got in the door and was great throughout explaining different kinds of bikes. We explained we wanted something that can be universal but mostly bike path, road-like, but can be versitile because we have kids. He showed different price points and styles and did not try and up-sale us into a high priced bike. And with the help of the manger, Chad, we had a great experience and happy with the bikes we bought!!
My wife and I have bought three bikes from here and have had great experiences. The bikes fit great and the salespeople were very easy to work with and knowledgeable.Have taken the bikes in a number of times for service and have been very pleased with the quality of work that is done.
The staff at the Trek Store in Dublin are phenomenal. As someone who lives an hour away and has attempted to support our local bike shop, I recently made my first visit and wasnt disappointed. After dealing with faulty shifting for some time, and failing to cure the issue with repeated services and attempted repairs locally, I decided to take my Trek Emonda to this store to be sorted out. Unfortunately, I found out that my frame was bad. Usually these are covered for life under Treks warranty, but I purchased this bike used last year, so the warranty didnt transfer to me. Utilizing Treks loyalty program and deeply discounting the bike further on their end, the guys got me into the bike Ive always wanted, a Madone. They also took good care of me on a bike for my wife which she is very pleased with.At the end of the day, I cant speak more highly of the level of customer service that I was provided from the sales team and the service teams. These guys know what they are doing, and they do it very well while putting the customer first. They took a really difficult situation with my bike and made it a good one. I will be a loyal customer for life, and suspect that if you give them a shot, you will be too.
My fifth mountain bike purchase was a 2018 Trek Procaliber 8. The previous four were from a competitor to which I was brand loyal. However, after riding a friend’s XCal and Rig, I was convinced that the G2 geometry was superior. I received a phenomenal deal, because the 2019’s were available and this bike had already been in the local inventory for a while. A month after the purchase I decided that I wanted a different bike. The store allowed me to return the bike for a full refund, which isn’t typically allowed on closeouts, and then proceeded to give me an equally phenomenal deal on another bike, despite the fact that they had to special order it. That is outstanding customer service. I’m still fiercely brand loyal - only now to Trek.
Wow. What an experience. My wife and I have been struggling to teach our 7 year old how to ride a bike. With a friends recommendation I reached out to Jon at Trek and asked if he could teach my son how to ride a bike. I also told him I would be happy to pay him for his services. Not only he agreed to help us but he also did it for free of charge. To top it off, it took my son 5 minutes to learn. We need more people like Jon to go out of his way to help customers. We were very happy. To show our appreciation, we bought some items there but I will definitely frequent their location. Thanks Jon!
I recently moved to Columbus and was looking for a good bike shop. Stopped in based off the reviews and was not disappointed. Their selection of bikes and gear is awesome and the staff was more than willing to help with questions and riding locations. Highly recommend and will be returning.
Had an awesome experience at Trek in Dublin, OH! Make sure you speak with Chad Westlake when visiting this store. Chad is very knowledgeable and will set you up perfectly for your next ride! I purchased a new X caliber 9 mountain bike but had to wait two days for them to order the correct size. I really wanted to buy a bike that day but Chad told me it was best that I wait and get the right size/model that would fit me best. I’m glad I listened to his advice bc I love the bike he set me up with. Perfect size and exactly what I was looking for in a mountain bike! I will definitely recommend this Trek store to my friends and family and anyone else looking to get the perfect bike! Thank you Chad and staff members at Trek!
I worked with associates Stephen, Jordan, and Matt to find the bike that I was interested in. Each individual was incredibly helpful in providing answers to the questions that I had. I purchased the 2021 Trek Checkpoint SL5 from the Dublin store, along with a Bontrager Spectre Wavecel helmet, Bontrager SSR MTB shoes, Shimano XT Pedals, and some other accessories such as a seat post bag and tire repair tools. They have quite the willingness to ensure that your bike choice is the right one for you.
I recently purchased a Trek Powerfly FS7 E-mountain bike from Chad. He was very knowledgeable and answered my many questions. He let me demo the bike and I was sold within the 1st minute. If youre looking for a high quality bike go with Trek and if youre looking for great support and customer service go with Trek Bicycle Columbus Dublin.
I was very impressed with the amount of time and personal service that Trek and Mason afforded me. Mason spent a great deal of time with me, helping me try out two different frame sizes. In a very relaxed manner, I was able to evaluate and compare how I felt on the different bikes - and I did not feel rushed at all. I asked a litany of questions and all of them were answered immediately and confidently. I thought that Trek did a great job of communicating with me about the status of my bike. And what was great is that Trek took care of installing and configuring the 3 accessories I bought for my bike (my Garmin 820, Garmin radar and Bontrager light). It made life very easy for me - I was able to ride my bike the next day. It was a fantastic experience. This is the first Trek bike Ive ever purchased. I thought my Trek purchasing experience was the best I ever had, from beginning to end. The staff (especially Mason) were exceptional.
This has been my goto bike shop for years. The level of attention and information that I receive from the sales and service staff has always been top notch!!Recently my bike was stolen, Matt and Griff in Sales and Matt in Service did a great job working with me to get relevant information to my insurance company and assist me in picking out my replacement bike. I am now back on the road with a shiny new Madone!!THANKS TREK STORE DUBLIN!!!!
This was the first time Id ever been to the Trek store. Someone had told me they could do quotes for how much it might cost to fix up a bike. The bike I brought in ended up needing a lot of work so Chad brought over a nice bike that was my perfect fit. It was love at first sight :) Everyone at the store was outstanding and always willing to help. LOVE this store and I dont think Ill be going to any other store for my bike needs while Im in Columbus :)
Rode my bike for the first long ride today and am very pleased with my purchase. I drove all over the city test riding all different styles/makes/models. I decided on the Trek bike for its great value and I found Trek to have the best atmosphere and most friendly employees. I wanted to buy from a store that knew their stuff and stood behind the purchase. I couldnt be happier.
I bought a new Trek FX2 from Trek Bikes Dublin, OH and found a cosmetic flaw in the paint when I arrived home. I sent a message to Trek Dublin via Facebook Messenger. The store manager contacted me and insisted that I return the bike to be exchanged for another one.Chad said that the goal of Trek Bikes is to deliver perfection. I simply asked for touch-up paint to cover the flaw and he said that they dont work that way. They want me to have a perfect bicycle. They grabbed another from the inventory and made sure that it was flawless.I am a new Trek customer. I have bought many bicycles over more than half a century of cycling passion. I can tell you this for certain. My next bike will be a Trek bicycle.Thank you CHAD and the team at Trek Bikes Dublin, Ohio.
My husband and I stopped in to Trek to see if they had any bikes in stock for us. We havent really biked since we were kids and were looking for a way to help us get back in shape. Unfortunately, with the COVID craz, there is very little in stock anywhere. Griff was very helpful, taught us a lot about bike, made suggestions based on our goals, never made us feel out of place for not knowing and encouraged us to keep checking back. We stopped back in a few times to check and got lucky that they had one that worked for me. Griff helped us figure out what we needed to get started, told us what wasnt needed and seemed to sincerely care about us and our experience.
This place is AWESOME! My husband and I live in Cleveland and had issues with the bike shops up here in finding a proper bike. We had to return 2 different bikes because of improper size or mechanical issues with the bikes my husband bought. We took a leap of faith and drove down to Columbus & I can honestly say, this is the best bike shop we have ever had the pleasure of buying from. They spent 4-5 hours working with us to find the perfect bike in our price range. My husband rode his Emonda for a few hundred miles and went back down for adjustments to make sure the bike fit him perfectly! A combination of the service we received from John and Steven and the fit from Chris made this trip worth every mile! I couldnt recommend these guys more! Thanks, Trek Bicycle Columbus for providing all that you did so that my husband can ride the perfect bike!
Store was as expected, nice environment, friendly staff. However I had taken a bent rim in to see if it could be trued and of course it couldnt so I bought a new rim. They changed all the equipment from the old rim over to the new rim, but stripped the screws holding the brake rotors on in the process so they ground the heads in order to get the screws off. I have no problem with this as I have done it before, but the careless manner in which they did it (I watched them the whole time) was highly disappointing and they cut in to my rotor. I didnt make a big deal about it as I have a budget bike and it is completely cosmetic but was upsetting about the lack of respect that was shown to the bike.EDIT: Manager contacted me and asked if he could fix the problem. More than satisfied with the results. Would use their services again.
We showed up at 7:10 not knowing they were closed at 7. A sales associate named Kelly happened to be near the front door as we turned around when we saw the closed sign. He let us in to look around and was very nice in doing so. He was knowledgeable and seemed to be in no rush even though we showed up there after hours. I will strongly consider purchasing my bike here a few months from now.
I recently had a good experience with this Trek on Sawmill Rd. First, the backstory… I bought my Trek in April 2016 from the Lane Ave store, which promptly closed shortly after I bought the bike. This spring (2017) I had a clicking sound coming from the bottom bracket so I took it to this Sawmill store. They fixed the sound and a broken rear spoke for a fee. But the sound returned about a month later. Not wanting to pay for another “fix,” I bought the bottom bracket tools and tightened it myself. So fast forward to a group ride I was doing a week ago on rolling Hills of Ohio... During that ride I popped 2 more spokes on the rear. With combination of the Lane Ave store closing and having repeat problems, I was becoming not happy with my Trek my experience. When I returned to the Sawmill Rd store the frustration must have been obvious cause they immediately referred me to Matt their lead repair guy. As I was venting on him, I could tell he was trying to convince himself that the customer is always right. After I vented and explained the above, he then calmly offered to replace the wheel for free. Im sure he was involved with other jobs but he replaced it right then and made other adjustments while he was at it. He then took some time and talked about maintenance, brackets, wheels, etc. He also told me he would have originally tried to sell me a higher end bike given my size (220 lbs), carrying gear on back rack, and the riding Im doing. I guess that makes sense. Like I told my wife, these repair guys probably deal with lots of people like me. We want our bikes for cheap but then get mad when things break. Anyway, Im now happy again with Trek.
Impressed with responsible staff. Given above and beyond information. Been browsing the Trek Bicycle Ride Club book given to me for free. Road first 32 mile route via app and QR code. Had an amazing time and cant wait to come back in for next bike related project or repair.
A wonderful selection and purchasing experience! We brought our grandkids 2 bikes in, needing to get a size up for a birthday. Not only were we guided to the perfect new bike, these old bikes received a chain adjustment and tires filled. Ready for younger grandkids. Thank you for your help and expertise.
I did not purchase anything today but was properly informed to make a decision. The sales guy Chad was honest when I asked him about other brands and even gave me comparable models to consider at other stores to help me find the right bike. After visiting every other bike store in the city I will be making my way back to this one to buy my new bike.
Jon helped out pick a Trek for my 6 year old. He took his time, very patient and professional to help us out. Also ironically helped out with a milestone in his life, teaching my son how to ride a bike without training wheels for the first time (we simply asked and he didnt hesitate to say yes even though I dont think its within his job description). When my son is ready for his next bike or we need another one, we sure will be seeing Jon. We also serviced our other bike and they have been very helpful to take care of us. Great store, great employees!..
Trek has the best Styles, reliability, selection, and most Importantly, they have designed bikes especially for women. The sales team at the Dublin store bent over backwards to get me the bike I wanted and in record rime. It was a fantastic experience and I absolutely love my Neko 2!
So far great experience. I originally came to the store to get the eater bottle busses replaced on my aluminum bicycle i purchased at performance. I stopped at performance and as my usual experience the service guy yelled loudly hold on!!! When I said hello and told me They didnt fix the water bottle cage bolts and told me not to go elsewhere because no one else did on Sawmill either. I went to Trek and even though they didnt sell me the vike fixed it that day and even replaced more than the one that was broken. They held the door for me and made me feel like i spent thousands instead of a few dollars. They go above and beyond to help you. As a result I decided to buy a new bicycle from them two weeks ago even though Performance was cheaper. I ended up spending close to four grand which to me is a lot to spend on a bicucle. I bought my first carbon fiber bicycle there and had a very good experience. I bought an Emonda SL6. The first bicycle I took home had a small scratch on the bottom of the bike so I took it back and they ordered me a new one. The manager I think is named David is very nice to customers and went out of his way to help me. The salesman was great and always attentive. It took about a week to get in and the guys there made me feel like I was a very important person. I ended up spending more than I expected but I will pay for good customer service. I have bought assessories several times since then and have had good customer service. Last week I decided to bring the bike I bought from Performance to Performance for a free adjustment. I walked back to the service department and the young man at the service counter yelled What!!! Rudely. So without a word I placed back the assessories i was going to purchase there and bought them at Trek for more and decided that I will just pay Trek to adjust the Fuji bike even though its free at Performance.
After a hit & run bike incident, it was imperative that I invested in the best and brightest safety tools and technology for my bike. A friend suggested I visit the Trek Bicycle Store on Sawmill Road in Dublin/Columbus, Ohio. I HIGHLY recommend this store. Great people and a positive service experience…from the help I received from opening the door to addressing my bike safety, nutrition and riding needs, the folks at Trek were great. I purchased a Bontrager Flare R Tail Light, and unfortunately the light fell off while riding on a busy street. Thanks to the helpful and courteous customer service team at Trek on Sawmill, they offered a full exchange to replace the tail light that had fallen off my bike during Pan Ohio Hope Ride. I highly recommend both Trek Bicycle Shop and the Bontrager Tail Light!
Had a problem and they diagnosed it fairly quickly. They didnt have the part (Bike Source didnt have it either) and they special ordered it. I decided to get it done at Trek because they said the part would come in 2 days, whereas Bike Source said it would take 10-14 days. The part did arrive in 2 days and I went in and had it fixed very quickly. Service was friendly and knowledgeable.
They did a good job with the tune up, but the process was insulting. They took my bike and started looking it over - didnt say a word to me - went over and starting getting parts, and without asking any questions starting ringing things up. Then they said my tune up would be $300. Only after I asked did they explain what exactly they wanted to do. Some of it was not at all needed, and I had them take a few things back - but it was still over $200. The pick up was no better. They tried to collect my payment before I even saw my bike, they didnt go over anything they did, just wanted me to pay and get out. It was printed on the receipt, but by then I had paid, and I had to just read it, no one said anything to me about my bike. I never should have left it there, but theres no way Ill ever go back.
Walked in after a bad day at work and not in the greatest mood. I was greeted by Chad who instantly made me feel like a friend... something you dont normally experience. We connected instantly and I have never had a stranger who could pull me out of a funk like that... After buying a new bike for my son (who hasnt stopped talking about Chad and his amazing dog, Red) I walked out completely floored by the level of customer service and attention to detail. He made sure my son would be safe riding his bike in the neighborhood. Lights, helmet, water bottle, bell, nothing was missed and they have a great junior trade in program. A very well managed bike shop. Ill never go anywhere else! From one Chad to another, Thank you!
Arrogant sales associates that made me feel like I was bothering them to ask questions. They were more interested in talking to each other about where they were going to ride on the weekend than helping me. When I finally did get the sales associate to see when I bike was in stock on his computer, it was interrupted by a 10min long personal call. How do I know this? Because he did it right in front of me. Worst customer assistance I have EVER seen.Update: Went to the store on Lane Ave. Sales associates were much more helpful and friendly.
Every time I visit the Dublin Ohio Trek store, I am greeted by a friendly staff who is eager to answer any questions, recommend products tailored to my style, and tell me about events. I feel like I am hanging with friends when I walk into the store. The bikes are rad looking and Chad is a freakishly cool dude.
I was in the market for a new roadbike, but I wasnt sure what model was right for me. I have been on a Trek Madone for almost 10 years and knew that there had been many improvements in ride quality since then and bikes had moved from rim brakes to disc brakes. After consulting with Jordan, I decided to go with a Domane SL7 E-tap with Sram Force electronic shifting. I picked the bike up on Saturday and took it for its maiden ride on Monday. What a fun bike! It is so much smoother than my old bike and its fast too! The electronic shifting is really neat and the system integrates perfectly with the Garmin Edge for all kinds of neat data to look at while you ride and during the post ride analysis. Thank you to Jordan and the whole staff at the Trek Columbus store for making sure I got the right bike!
Stephen was awesome! I probably had 100 questions about the ebikes over the last year while deciding on what to buy, and he knew pretty much everything! If he didnt know off the top of his head, he went the extra mile and found out for me! Several other staff members were extremely helpful, but Stephen really shined! Thanks! This ebike is my 3rd Trek bike and and every bike so far has been excellent quality.I recommend this specific store to anyone who asks about bikes!
I started looking for a bike a couple weeks ago (I havent biked since high school and Im 35) and Stephen helped me. He wasnt pushy and had a genuine love for what he did. After talking a bit he sent me and my partner on a ride on an e-bike. I really didnt expect to buy a $3k electric bike lol. I went to literally every bike shop in Columbus over the next week test riding and looking at mountain bikes, hybrids, road bikes, and e-bike and I came back to Trek because 1. I knew a regular bike would not get used nearly as muchbecause after experiencing the e-bike it just doesnt compare 2. Steven is the most genuine and friendliest bike sales guy in all of Columbus 3. Nobody was pushy and they let me decide what I wanted to do. 4. They offer a lot of services regardless of what price range you choose and they do have many affordable bikes and the quality is great compared to many other brands. This is a great place to buy a bike! Oh- My partner also decided to buy one haha which surprised me and Steven! Looking forward to tons of fun days with our bikes now :-)
Hands-down the best service department in the city, especially for high-end bikes. I wont take my Madone anywhere else. These guys really know their stuff and are friendly and easy to work with.Matt and Paul pay attention to even the small details that many mechanics overlook. They know their stuff and can talk at length about the nuances of cable routing, tire materials, spoken tension, etc. But you dont need to know any of it. You can just hand over your bike to them and know its going to come back completely dialed in.
The guys here are very knowledgeable and friendly. No need to feel intimidated walking in this store, if you are new to purchasing a road bike, mountain bike, kids bike etc... The electric bikes Trek has are insane. I demod one and if I didnt work from home Id scoop one up!
Its the biggest bike shop in Columbus. The inventory is good. Unfortunately some of the mechanics dont know what theyre doing. I came to have my hydraulic brakes bled and they took apart my headset and took out the ball bearings. Its just Trek bikes and nothing else. Most of the bikes are above the $1000 mark.
Words dont seem enough to express how I feel every time I ready my Trek for the road. Third generation is riding Trek. Solid designs, knowledgeable staff matching bicycle to rider, excellent service & maintenance whether you are investing in a cross-country performance machine, or an impromptu neighbors-on-tour out to enjoy the great weather, your bike is the last thing you need to worry about. So, ride Trek!Recently needed new helmet, strode into Trek @ Sawmill Dublin, walked out happy with my new helmet. Thats my whole point? You will walk in needing this or that and walk out ready to ride.
Amazing - I drove down from Cleveland after buying and returning 2 different bikes from shops up north that fit wrong or had mechanical issues. TREK in Dublin worked with me for 4 hours on a Saturday to find the right bike and size. After purchasing they let me put 200 miles on the bike then bring it back for adjustments and refitting!!! Chris Freter is the the man - got me fitted on my Emonda fantastically!I strongly recommend making the drive to TREK in Dublin!!Cheers fellas!
The first time I went here, I was picking up a web order for tires and ended up getting a lecture from the manager on how I should have just come into the shop to buy them, even though they didnt even have the size I needed in stock. I guess I robbed him of a commission or something! I also bought a new inner tube, which I had to get another employee to get for me because he was immediately otherwise occupied and which was overpriced to boot. And a month later the tube went flat because of a defect - a weak spot in the weld where the stem attached. Instead of even offering me an exchange, the same manager proceeded to explain that it was cut by a sharp spot in the rim - which I had checked for - and that he didnt get tubes for free. I suppose this is a fine shop if you prefer to shop exactly how the manager wants you to! Now that roll: has opened just a few doors down, I suggest them instead.
I appreciate how friendly and engaging everyone always is. Even if you aren’t rolling in a Madone you’re greeted with passionate and knowledgeable folks. I’m turn, it makes it even easier to love and be passionate about Trek products. Keep riding and keep up the outstanding work!
I went to the store to have a pedal removed and pick up a trainer axel, and the employees looked over my bike while I was in. Although informative, they recommended several hundred dollars of unnecessary work and suggested that my frame and components would be in danger if it was not done soon. Adjustment costs were added on top of a $175 tune up fee costing for example $40 extra for the rear derailer adjustment. I took it down the road to Wheelie Fun Bike shop for a second opinion and the owner of that shop stayed around for 20 minutes after the store was supposed to close and did the rear derailer and brake adjustments for free and told me exactly how many more miles I actually should ride before needing to replace the chain and tires.
Had some repairs done to my bike and wasnt able to pick it up because my car was in the shop. Chad, one of the store employees offered to deliver it to my house so I could ride the following day. Exceptional customer service over and above!!Thanks Chad and thanks Trek Store of Columbus!
Instantly finding yourself on the ground during a race after hitting a muddy root is NEVER good, but having a bike shop to diagnose a weird noise after finishing the race is key to getting back on the dirt again. It was not the shock, drive chain, bottom bracket, or wheels.Took it to Matt & Paul at Trek Dublin and they evaluated and got me the bike back quickly, working like new! Thanks Guys!
I went in as a novice with lots of questions. Every question was answered and I left feeling like I was a pro. The manager Chad was very friendly and took the time to explain everything to me, he seemed very passionate and made me feel like a friend. This is the place to go for all bike needs.
Bought a demo bike and was told they treat it as new bikes being sold ... Had a few issues after riding it , brought it back in to get looked at... Both sales and service took care of me and my mountain bike free of charge ... Thats awesome customer service and had me back out the same day riding ... Highly recommended
I have a probaly 20 year old Trek 1400 and a couple weeks ago the front brake assembly literally fell off the frame on the Olentangy Trail from losing the special internal frame mount nut . Rolled into the store today and the service manager guy pulled one out of this work box for me - “man that’s an old 105 setup” he says - yes it is! Thanks guys - when I go to trade up I know where I’ll be going!
I just moved to Columbus and was looking around for a shop. The Trek store was the shop I called that really made an effort to help me. The staff is friendly and they really seem like they are working for the love of the sport rather than the money. Highly recommended!
Friendly staff. Was welcomed at the door, which is huge, most times you can be in a retail location for 10-15 minutes before being acknowledged, in some places I’ve never been spoken to until I hit the checkout. Staff where very friendly and willing to answer all my questions.
Worked with Stephen who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Id been having foot pain and he suggested starting small vs. trying to upsell me. His fix worked wonder and Ill keep coming back. Couldnt have gotten that from buying cheaper online. I would have overpaid for something I didnt need.

2022-04-30Don’t walk, RUN to Trek Columbus if you are in the market for a new bike. This has been the most positive retail experience I have had in a long time. From the moment you enter the shop you feel like family. Steven took his time sizing a bike for my son, discussed all the features, and even offered for my son to try the bike out back. He taught him about gears, what they do, how to use them, much better than I would have been able to.We bought a few accessories which were added to the bike without even so much as a request from us.We will absolutely return to get a bike for myself.Trek Columbus and Steven, thank you for everything you did for us!

2021-12-24Fantastic experience! Isaac, the sales manager, really has the customer in mind at all times. He made the buying experience easy, even from 100 miles away. I would definitely recommend Trek - Dublin!

2022-03-27Came in knowing nothing about what we actually needed. We paired up with Alex, and he was fantastic. Really broke down the different models, let us sit on a few to get sizes. And we were convinced enough after talking for 30 minutes to just place the order.I like the idea of a reliable shop nearby, and the level of expertise and friendliness will have me coming back for everything.Really can trust anyone here, can’t wait for our new bikes !

2022-03-07We were looking to upgrade our bikes that we had for many years and knew we wanted to stay with Trek. We visited the Dublin store late last year and Cam helped us find the right bikes for us. When they arrived, he and Mark helped us accessorize them and made the whole experience very satisfying. This level of customer service is why we continue to frequent this store.

2022-06-09Such great service. I went in looking for a bike that I knew they had in stock from the Trek website. The sales person was helpful and got me set up for a test ride without being pushy. He also answered my questions and handled a couple customers at a time expertly juggling everything that was going on on a busy day. I was pretty bummed that the bike I actually wanted was available at a different Trek location in the city as after all the help I got I really wanted to make the purchase at this location.

2022-04-18I purchased a new Verve 1. This is an older model and not a top-of-the line bike, but still an expensive purchase for me that I was really excited about. When I picked it up and took it home, I realized it was making a noise from the rotor rubbing against the brake pad. My boyfriend and I considered trying to fix it ourselves, but I felt like I shouldn’t be responsible for a fix on day 1 of my new bike. So I took it back into the shop and the people there (who suspected it was the front rotor as I did) “fixed” it. I got the bike on a trail, and about 2 miles in I realized the rotor was rubbing again (this time the back rotor). I called the shop to ask for any tips they had to help me while I was on the ride, and they instead sent someone out (thanks, Nate!) to pick me up, return me to my car, and take the bike back to the shop for work. They delivered the bike back to my home later that day and I confirmed is now in working order.Initially, I was not thrilled at how the bike was assembled. I purchased from a Trek store specifically so I knew it would be put together correctly and so I could trust the maintenance there. I think because the bike I purchased isn’t a flashy one, it may not have gotten the attention it deserved and was thrown together quickly. And on my first ask for repair, I still left with a bike that needed more work.On the flip side, the work the team put in to make it right and help me out was really incredible. To get roadside assistance and delivery for an issue on a bike was a first for me and I can say that all the people that stepped in to help me really cared about making my experience better after the initial problems. So overall, 4 stars. Check your bike thoroughly when you pick it up and don’t feel bad about asking for a longer test ride before you call it “good.” But also, if you do have an issue, I can guarantee they will work with you to solve it.

2022-07-09I recently purchased a used bike. Prior to listing the bike, the seller had $400 of service done at Trek Sawmill including brake pads and rotors. I have a copy of his receipt dated 6/7/22. He told me he thought the brakes were acting funny so he had returned to Trek and was told this was normal for new brakes. I was surprised they would return a bike to a customer without bedding in the brakes, which I assumed was the issue after a quicktest ride . After riding about 40 mi and attempting to bed them, the brakes were still noisy and lacking stopping power. Turns out Trek installed the front caliper upside down so the pad was 1. Glazed 2. Only making partial contact with the rotor, hence partially stopping.I have never stepped foot in a Trek store and yet their incompetence cost me $80 and had me riding an unsafe bike. They allowed the seller of my bike to leave their store a second time without making sure their work had been done correctly and the bike was safe to ride. I would be very weary of any shop that guarantees a 24 hour turnaround on service. It’s much more important that a shop take its time and take your concerns seriously….there’s many small, local bike shops in Columbus that will.

2021-04-29The Trek store in Dublin is awesome. Large store with plenty of room to browse bikes and accessories. The salespeople were knowledgeable and the service department helped me get my bike back on the road. They can work on any brand bike, and the price for reconditioning my bike was very reasonable.
