Dave Hogue is the man! He was straight forward, made the process of getting my Tacoma easy, kept me up to date regularly and had great customer service.After getting the run around and poor customer service from another dealer, I chose Toyota of Boardman after hearing some great things from friends/ co workers.I am very pleased with there customer service all around. I drove 400 miles from Bergen County, NJ for my used Tundra. The mileage and price were exactly what I was looking for. Boardman Toyota gave me a fair trade-in value for my Toyota Sienna. Dave Hogue got the financing in order and paperwork ready before I even got to the dealership. Erica Graham had me in and out of her office with all documents signed very fast. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely check out Boardman Toyota the next time I’m in the market for a vehicle. Thank you Dave and Erica!
Wish I could say it was great experience with the sales team of Boardman Toyota however it was not. The only good part was the financial part as the young lady was very professional.I will not elaborate on why I was not happy with sales team for it’s not my doing to humiliate a person. I personally explained why I was upset to them only to be told it’s not how they handle a delivery of a used vehicle.I love the vehicle I purchased from them, it was filled with gas and very clean thank you.
They were very helpful and eager to resolve the issue I am having with my vehicle. They took the time to listen to my concerns and did their best to remedy the issue. Phenomenal service department! They also came into the waiting area to keep me updated on the vehicle, unlike another dealership that left me waiting, all alone, while they all went out to lunch! Best dealership I’ve ever bought a car through! They were up front and transparent the whole time. Didn’t try to give me the run around like other dealerships. When I came in to sign the paperwork, they had everything ready. Whole process took maybe 15 minutes. I was able to lease a Tacoma for an incredible price. We’ll be leasing another Toyota from Kevin when my wife’s lease runs out on her GMC! There are other Toyota dealerships closer to me, but I’ll be driving to Toyota of Boardman for my car needs from now on!
Zeke was very helpful in helping us find a new Corolla for my son. He keep us informed. We were in and out of the dealership pretty quickly when the new car arrived. I previously leased a Camry there last year. And will continue to come thier for my car needs.

We just bought a Tacoma from this dealer and it was really easy to complete the purchase with them, all simple and no pressure, it took us 15 minutes to close the deal and they did the rest. The next day they took my car to my house two hours from the dealer, we signed at my house and thats it. Kenny was kind and helped us find exactly what we needed without pressuring us.
Very good experience so far. Salesman was very knowledgeable and pleasant. They did offer other cars to fit my need but wasn’t pushy which I can appreciate. The transaction really was smooth.
Everything started off smooth. However once I got to the dealership it felt pushy. I had already financed through a bank in the city I live in. The bank and the dealership began to go back and forth multiple times I was asked by the dealership to finance through them. I advised that I had already done that and my APR is pretty low. I test drove the vehicle I noticed the rear windshield wiper was too big and needed replace. The salesman Kevin Bertilacci insisted that he didn’t have anyone in service to work on the vehicle. He eventually suggested the car be delivered once he could get service to look at it. Once everything was worked out through the bank and dealership the vehicle was brought to me. Upon me receiving the vehicle a message came on to say the blind spot monitor was unavailable, I looked in the top corner of the vehicle and noticed the oil change sticker the car needs an oil change and I just purchased it. The car was not put on a full tank after delivery. I’ve never purchased a car and it not be put on full. The car also needs rotors. Mind you the car was just delivered to me on May 12. Jason Albanese the sales manger emailed me several times during this process. When I responded with feedback on the vehicle already giving notifications or service being needed, monitors not being available I didn’t get a response. When I reached out to Kevin, his response was the message wasn’t there before we dropped it off. Which is a lie bc I took a picture of it the same day I got the car. The fact that the dealership received a full payment and I received a car that immediately needs maintenance is extremely terrible. The car also doesn’t have all the features that were listed in the description. Poor customer service. This experience was unfortunate. I’ve worked with Toyota in the city I lived in the experience was completely different. I really feel like if I lived in Boardman and financed with the dealership they might have taking the time to maintenance the vehicle before giving it to the customer.
Gerald is the best! He lets me know when something will be coming due so I can prepare myself. If it’s nothing urgent he lets me know I can wait a little longer. If it is important he makes it known so I don’t choose to slack lol. He’s not pushy, I love that.
If you like being scammed or being taken of advantage, Toyota of Boardman is for you. Not only, like everyone else, do they not have any new cars in the lot, but also, in order to buy one, they are asking for over $7000 above retail. They said its supply and demand. Since people need cars, they feel obligated to drag them over the coals. Its just business, they say. On top of that, if you have a trade in, they give you $800 for a $15,000 car in mint condition. They have no interest in selling you a car. Save time and dont deal with them. The salesmen and manager are as sleazy as you can imagine.
Second vehicle Ive bought via text message with Jason Albanese. In and out in less than 40 minutes. No surprises on arrival. Third vehicle Ive purchased from Toyota of Boardman overall, always left feeling satisfied.
I just recently purchased a vehicle from them and the vehicle I bought was priced decent, but they are on the low side as far as trading in a vehicle. Do your research on what your vehicle is worth. All and all not a bad dealership to do business with.
Bought a 2012 Buick Verano for just over 7000 dollars about 1 year ago. I drove it maybe 3000 miles in that time frame. Just recently the engine completely blew up. I understand I bought as is, but I had an issue with it within the 1st 30 days of purchase and I called to see if you could help fix the issue and I was blown off, now Im out a car and 7 grand. I didnt put enough miles on to need a service, and when I called 3 weeks after purchase I was blown off. I get that buying used is..Id... but to put your name on something like that isnt a good look. However I would buy again from you, but I just dont have the money.
The alternator on my toyota quit working, My toyota service plan said I had to use this dealership because it was closer that the dealership I purchased my vehicle from. They were outstanding, they looked at my vehicle at 730am and called by noon to tell it was ready to pick up.,and the service plan covered everything. My dealership had told me they are booked up and might not be able to get to it for a while, but I could drop it off and they will call me. They also had told me they have to look and see if the failure was caused by something else before they can say if it will be covered under the service plan. Baierl Toyota is no longer my dealership. I will be using Toyota of Boardman for all my future needs. They were very professional, honest, and provided fast and excellent service. That is what you are looking for when you are in need of car repairs. This is your dealership!!!

This is my third Toyota - but first time at Toyota of Boardman. By far the best car buying experience we have ever had. I found the vehicle I wanted online, Kevin verifed it was there, Jason ran all the financials with me and I drove down an hour took it for a test drive and took it home! Their followup was amazing, the process was fast and smooth, and the car I got is just what I wanted! 100% recommend them.

I was in the market to trade in my lease, I was giving a new car quote, or to sell it back to Toyota, I have been dealing with Kevin (Zeke) for the past few weeks. I was told to sell the car back one quote and I have asked him numerous of time to verify that price; So I was there on Monday 2/28/2022 to sell it back. When I asked him what the selling prince was he told me then went to see the sales manager Doug Peters, he came over to me and I told him what I was told and he raised his voice and said that not what was said I miss understood him then raised his voice and said hes the MANAGER AND WHAT HE SAYS GOES AND REPEATED THAT NUMEROUS OF TIMES. I did not want to embarrass him and so I just listened. Toyota should be ashamed to have such a nasty, angry, disrespectful and control freak working there Shame on you. He must of thought he was talking to his wife, mother or children like that. And being a women he tough he would get over me, but I had more class then to be talked down to like I was below his level shame on DOUG PETERS, shame on Toyota Boardman for allowing such a RUDE OBNOXIOUS GENERAL MANAGER he belongs in a barn. I will never send another person there nor will I ever buy another car there. SHAME ON YOU. So he gave me 500.00 compared what the original deal was.

My salesperson was Richard, no pressure, just matter-of-fact. Was pleased with the simplicity in taking a test drive at Toyota of Boardman, some PA dealers fill out paperwork to “rent” the car to you short term which has taken 30-40 minutes at times. The vehicle was clean as expected. No ridiculous “Covid cleaning charge” (yes a dealer in Wexford PA adds a $599 charge and they call it a Prep Fee) or other questionable charges ($949 lifetime oil changes, $3695 extended warranties) on the worksheet. Steph was able to help me get to where I needed to be cost-wise and the added bonus is buying the car at Toyota of Boardman is little different than buying in PA, i.e. they take care of all the PA paperwork. Overall this was a pleasant experience. Would recommend anyone in Western PA make the trip, easy access off the Ohio Turnpike.
My brakes were in desperate need for new brake pads. I had waited too long to get it scheduled. I called at 8am and it was being worked on by 11am. Thank you for such a fantastic service department! Truly the best!

Always have a great experience here! Very professional and courteous staff. The waiting area looks great, has comfortable seating and complimentary drinks and snacks. Not only do they do the maintenance service I requested, my car is nicely washed and there’s usually a coupon available for the service they did! I come from out of town and it’s totally worth it!

Everything was excellent. The only reason did not give five stars was they normally always wash the vehicle when serviced. This time they did not. Not a big deal, and I will continue to take my vehicle here for service.

They top off all fluids except coolant. Request bumper to bumper inspection and was not done. Replace a battery terminal because it was loose. I just tight it and if it was loose, dont mean have to replace it. It suppose to call me before any repairs. I dont know what happened. I used to love this place.
Again it was a very pleasant visit just a normal oil change rotation of tires but the staff there is so friendly helpful and knowledgeable Brian Tanner waited on me usually Gerald waits on me or Sam but I have to say all three are top-notch service department is excellent I’ve been going there forever I love my Toyota’s and I love your service department even the guys in the back that you never get to see a big thank you to them —never had a problem ever- Happy new year to all of you and I’ll see you again next year

Though I will never buy another car from this location. They always have the highest prices on their cars and the lowest trade in offer. After they refused to sell me the truck at the agreed price. I got more truck for less money elsewhere. There service department is top notch and always on point. So do your research on vehicle prices before buying here and never hesitate coming here for service.

Took my 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid in to get a look at with a ton of lights on. I only expected to get the diagnostic as I was fearful it was a big issue. It was not! They fixed it and turned off all lights and cleaned and reattached items causing the lights for a very cheap price!! Highly recommend their service department!
Went in to Toyota of Boardman for my 2020 Tacoma 20000 mile service. Service Writer Gerald was very professional and explained everything that was going to be done under the 20000 mile service. After around 45 minutes the truck was done and Gerald went over everything again. Every time I go into Toyota of Boardman I feel well taken care of and treated like gold.

My wife and I were so blown away by the exceptional service Doug gave us when purchasing my new Tundra! I could immediately tell that Doug truly enjoyed his job. I purchased the Tundra right as it came off the assembly line. Every morning I would have an update from Doug about where it was and when it was due in. When my wife and I finally got to meet Doug, he took great care of us as well as the rest of the Boardman team and made the whole buying experience a great one. Again, I just cant say enough how much you can tell Doug loves what he does and he really likes seeing people get excited over purchasing a new vehicle. We live two hours from Boardman and have a Toyota dealership five minutes from our home, but we had such a great experience, that were going back to Doug once its time for a new vehicle again! Since 2011 I have purchased 5 new automobiles from Preston and have yet to be disappointed. In both sales and service they are well above the competition. Over the years I have forged a personal relationship with my salesman, Dave Hogue, and Toyota of Boardmans sales manager, Jason Albanese. I have always felt they did there best to put me in the right automobile at a fair price. I highly recommend both these men and the organization they represent.

Got my 4Runner finally and I love it.Monday after purchasing my new 4Runner, I called parts and spoke with Ron to see if I was able to change out the rims on my vehicle. He was super nice and told me to just come in and they would order them for me.When I went in and Gerald took care of me in service. He was super friendly and helpful and got me in for my new rims literally two days later. He gave me a time frame it would take and I told him I’d just wait there for it. Multiple times he asked if I needed anything and apologized for the long wait. (Only 15 minutes past and they were busy so I completely understood). To my surprise he gave me a huge discount for waiting longer than expected! I That’s usually unheard of nowadays and I am so pleased already with Toyota of Boardman. I would highly recommend them to anyone for their car needs!
I recently purchased my 3rd new car from Toyota of Boardman. I have loved every one! Keely was awesome! Also had help from Doug and Erica. They made the experience easy and got me great financing for the beautiful 2020 red Camry SE that I wanted. I have always been happy with their professionalism. Rachael has been helpful when I was interested in possibly buying a Tacoma and she made a point of stopping to talk to me on my last visit. Also Gerald in the service department has mad every appointment easy. Every experience I have had with them has been great. Again, Keely is awesome! As usual, the dealership and service department were very neat and clean and efficient. I can’t believe how busy service was, yet I was there for a shorter period of time than I was originally quoted. My only complaint is that an employee was smoking near the vicinity of my vehicle, and the smell was overpowering.

So to start off the buying experience was ok which was July 31. The problem started last week on the 27th of September. My fiance went to Canton for post op from a surgery 6 weeks ago. Came out car wouldnt start had triple AAA come out to find that the our 2018 Certified Highlander battery is bad after only 2 months of purchase. So Cain Toyota in Canton replaced the battery and reprogrammed the system. $458 later we get told it isnt coveredWith our extended warranty. Made many phone calls with no call backs. 1st Toyota and probably last. **update** since I posted a review now the owner wont help due to a bad review.
We were totally mislead today. We are looking for a used decent shape Toyota Highlander 2016. We thought we found a really nice one with low miles 19 K to be exact. We were told the car could not be held and thought we did not want to let this one getaway. Should’ve known no photos were ever up for this vehicle , which we had asked for simple pictures from a phone.Talked to another dealer and he said they would hold it for us until we could get there on Monday. So we rented a car and drove 500 miles to pick up our new car. Spent the night in a motel , and arrived at 10AM. The car was a complete mess and huge disappointment. Dents on the sides too. No wonder there were no pictures! They offered to fill our tank full of gas which would’ve amounted to 5 gallons since we had already filled. Not very accommodating at all. So bummed that this couldn’t have turned out better.

Being from out of town, Gerald was able to schedule me an appointment that worked for my travel schedule as well. Highly recommend this business for solid and honest staff.

This was our first Toyota purchase since the 80s and it was a good experience in all ways. The easiest way I can say it, is that there was no bs. They had the vehicle I wanted, the salesperson was knowledgable and there was never any type of pressure. I did my research regarding pricing and found them to be very fair. A friend recommended Richard Bell as a salesperson and I am very happy I listened to their recommendation.
Great experience. Jason the Sales Manager worked with me to get me what I wanted with the payment that I wanted. I went to the dealership and was able to walk out with my new car in under 45 minutes. Also, Dave in the service department is also very knowledgeable, and gave me a remedy to fix an issue that I had mistakenly caused with my headliner, and I greatly appreciate that!
I bought my 2014 Tundra from them and I love the truck. I took it in for an oil change and alignment today. I received a call from the service department stating the spring that is in the oil filter housing was missing. They have agreed to replace the part since all but 2 of the oil changes were done by them and the other 2 were done at a Toyota dealership in Cincinnati a couple years ago. I really appreciate the resolution to the issue. I am a very loyal customer and tend to stick with people I trust and do right by me.
I had a good experience buying my car here. It has been reliable. I only have one complaint. The short brunette woman that works the service desk gives me an attitude every time I go in there. I only go to the dealer when I have to. It’s a shame because I like to have all my records in one place, but customer service is important to me and I just don’t get it from her.

Im very pleased with the service department Toyota of Boardman. While a different dealer recommended a $900 repair of my exhaust system, the guys in Boardman referred me to a welder who fixed the problem for $120. Boardman also repaired my brakes for free, citing previous work that they had performed on my brakes, although I had no recollection of the previous brake work. And they never try to upsell me on additional work that I have not asked them to perform.
They were thorough and professional and very open about what repairs were needed
I just bought a new 4Runner for my wife and the experience was great. Kevin, Dave and Rich were great to work with and were able to work a dealer trade to get the exact vehicle we wanted. The process was simple, smooth and everyone involved was extremely helpful. I want to extend a special thank you to Kevin for taking the time to get everything set up with my wifes phone and for answering all of her questions. Took my own parts in to get replaced and they weren’t happy about doing that.Part had been checked and said to be good, but Serv. Mgr.called and said you don’t want want to use that one.We’ll put ours in only about $600. More! I’m retired and can’t afford that kind of money!But I had to come up with the extra! So you won’t see me in your place again. NOT HAPPY! And the serv. young lady needs an attitude adjustment. NOT NICE!
My experience with Toyota of Boardman was everything I wanted. No greasy gimmicks, and the best price out there. Many dealers were competing for my business (I knew exactly what I wanted), and only Nick at Toyota Boardman gave me an up front out the door price that no competition could touch in the entire region. When the other dealers found out I’d settled, they tried to pull me back in other ways by saying they’d give the best price, but refused to make any offers without seeing a price sheet from another dealer and me coming in their doors. Toyota of Boardman built me a price sheet with every detail at the very beginning before I even showed up, and they followed through. I got the color and features I wanted. Nick took care of everything quickly and we spent time learning about each other’s families. It was honestly like working with a friend. Thank you Nick!

Took the 17 Tundra in for service at 42k miles and a check engine/traction control off showing on dash. Gerald Lane in service was excellent in that he got me into a loaner and into & out of the shop quickly. He was very professional & kept me posted throughout the process. Service techs did a great job; the truck runs better than it ever did, and that was pretty good! Overall, a great team effort - love this dealer!

Drove up from Pittsburgh to look at a Certified Used 2017 Toyota Corolla. Dave Hogue was the salesman I worked with and he was really great. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They worked with me to keep me close to my budget, and I couldnt be happier. We even got a local dinner recommendation that did not disappoint. I would 100% recommend checking them out!
Look elsewhere.The staff was making fun of customers on the sales floor. From the start I was never greeted and I was on the lot for 20 minutes looking at cars. So I thought they were busy. Nope. Every salesman sitting at their desk playing on their phone. Not one person got up to greet me. The salesman “Zeke” aka Kevin Burick was disrespectful and didn’t listen to any of my needs. Then he bashed other dealerships which wasn’t a good look. I wanted to buy a car today but the level disrespect in his tone of talking to me like I was a child was enough for my wife and I to get up and walk out. Stay away from this dealership.

When I initially bought my car it was a good experience. After having it for 6 months, was a different story. I think Toyota is a great brand but, I got a bad one. I traded it in at a different dealership because this one treated me like a number. I paid for gap insurance in full on my new vehicle and then eventually on my next vehicle. Therefore I was warranted a refund for the first vehicle. I had to deal with Erica Graham. Little to no communication, several mistakes were made and super unprofessional. I wonder how many people theyre ripping off with this tactic. I tried contacting the GM to file a complaint against this Erica. Unfortunately, after several attempts and no returned phone calls. This is the best I can do. They dont care about you, your money or your best interest. I wonder if shes from a temp agency? She cant do basic math and she got so upset with me over her mistakes I got an email in all caps. Lol Do yourself a favor and make the longer trip to a different dealership because this one is a joke.Youre only human!!!! How about how rude and unprofessional she was! Thats not human! Veteran of 10yrs lol TRASH. I have told many ppl about this encounter and I will tell many more. Were human. This backs everything I said. What a joke!I love how I got a response back to this faster than anything she did and I never got a response back from the GM!
To expensive 60.00 dollars for tire rotation and balance took an hour and twenty minutes for oil change and and rotation wont be back

She makes scheduling easy, provides just the right amount of timely updates on my vehicle’s service, and always ensures the work is done on time. I look forward to seeing Joanna on each visit.Based on the work I’ve had done there, I have a great respect for their technician’s expertise. I’m a very particular individual and the technicians have accurately known the exact cause for all my car’s “symptoms” I have brought to their attention.Each time I leave their service department, I feel well informed, confident my vehicle was serviced correctly, and like I received a fair price.

So I purchased a used vehicle with higher miles because the vehicle was pitched as a one owner clean car fax record vehicle.Later that night when the headlights were turned on I noticed they were very poorly aligned so I took the vehicle to a local garage for the adjustments and I was informed that the lights could not be adjusted do to the improper alignment of the body panels because the entire front clip had Ben replaced and on closer inspection I could see that the original color of the inner fenders was red when the vehicle was actually gray.I contacted the dealership and said I didnt want this thing that was misrepresented too me and was informed that all sales are final.No offer to even fix the lights and this was on an 18,500 dollar vehicle.I don’t have energy to fight with them but what goes around comes around at the end of the day they are liars and will twist the truth to get a sale unfortunately.Just thought someone might want to know they are hustlers.

I had previously bought a RAV here and I loved it. I knew when I needed to get a new car I wanted to get another RAV. Richard Bell sold me my first one so when we went back we asked for him again. Both me and my husband were extremely happy with how easy the process went. It was super quick and straightforward and Richard was extremely helpful. We will definitely return in the future.

My Dad and I are very pleased with our experience at Toyota of Boardman. My Dad was looking for comfort overall with his purchase. We walked in Kevin Sikora asked what we was looking to get and what was important in Dads new purchase. Within 20 minutes we test drove, was informed of the features, and had a close estimate of the cost. We had other shopping to do that day and wasnt pressured to purchase now, which is very important to my Dad. By the end of the day Toyota of Boardman had the best deal and service! We came back a couple days later and Dad purchased an awesome 2019 Toyota Highlander SE V6 AWD Midnight Package (very sharp SUV). Thank you Toyota of Boardman and Kevin!!

I was pleasantly surprised with how wonderful my experience was. I tend to stay away from chain businesses but I found the perfect car for what I needed today and decided to check it out. Half hour later I have my perfect car! Such low miles and such a good price! They set up everything there for you which Im not used to. I figured Id be driving to 1000 places today to get everything switched, but nope. Got it all done there and just had to call my insurance to switch vehicles which took 2 minutes. Cant believe how easy that was! Shout out to Kevin! He was so accommodating. Will be doing business in the future here.
We just wanted to thank the service team for once again taking care of us. For seven years now we have been buying and servicing our vehicles at this store and they always go above and beyond in assisting us in getting our vehicles in, serviced and back to us in a quality and timely manner. This last service trip, I had dropped the ball and forgot to make the appointment before leaving for a vacation, sensing my urgency Gerald Lane, the Assistant Service Manager, went above and beyond to get our vehicle in the day before we left for our trip. I just bought my very first car here (a used Toyota RAV4) and I could not be more satisfied. I worked with Dave and Kevin B, and they were both very conversational, very kind, and I didnt feel like they would try and manipulate me (as a female first-time buyer) at all. They were upfront, honest, and while it is dealership price you pay, it is definitely worth it. Will absolutely come back for future purchases.

2022-02-27EXCELLENT experience with Megan and Toyota of Boardman! We traveled to Boardman from about 2 hours away to look at 1 used vehicle. Megan kept me informed on the status of the vehicle throughout the week so I would not make an “unnecessary” trip if the car sold prior. We were able to test drive the vehicle independently and were told to take as much time as wanted. My trade-in was honored for it’s worth and all questions were answered. We were able to check all features with Megan to ensure they work and Taylor in finance reviewed all financial documents and warranty info. We were there for about 2 hours total, no hassle, no “sales pitches”… this was the best car purchase experience I’ve ever had. Will look to Toyota of Boardman FIRST for any future needs. Thank you - specially - to Megan in Sales and Taylor in Finance for making this such an enjoyable experience!!

2022-03-26I’ve been dealing with them for a decade. Service dept is very well run and always great communication, the key to being successful at anything. I’ve never had to call them to see if my car is done. They’ve always have called me first and keep me well informed of repairs. The Toyota quality speaks for itself too. Great vehicles.

2022-01-27Military Friendly fast, and professional. When an emergency forced us off the highway they were right there helping us replace our tires. The shuttle service was fantastic and helped get me to and from the center without having to wait. My family and I greatly appreciate all they did to help us get back on the road!

2022-07-22The dealership was open and clean when we walked in. My mother chose this dealership based on the car she wanted. And they delivered. We drove 4hrs to pick it up and Kevin had everything buttoned up before we got there. Financing was handled, we knew exactly what we needed, the finance manager was ready and we walked in and out in less than an hour (including the test drive) with her keys. Great experience. He went above and beyond by ordering extra parts which arrived on time and were installed before we even signed papers.
