There was no where near adiquate parking. People were litterally parking in any space thier car would fit along a park road, including on sidewalks and anywhwere else they could squeeze thier car. We had to park over a mile away from the event and walk, including up a large, steep hill that was unexpected for my 75 year old Dad. Once we got to the stadium there was only one gate open to get in so the line was wrapped half way around the stadium. Luckily we arrived over an hour early or we would have missed the start of the game as it took that long just to park and get inside. By the end of the first quarter consesions stands were running out of food. They were out of hotdogs and other items and believe it or not soda... how do you run out of soda before the second quarter even starts. After the game it was dangerous getting out. It was dark and the park street was unlit. Since cars were parked on both sides of the road in every square inch they could find people were forced to walk down the unlit street fighting with the traffic trying to drive down the street at the same time. My advice, if you are planning on going to an event get there very early, be prepared to park randomly on the side of the road any way you can and plan on a long uphill walk to get in.
This was my 2nd visit to Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. Last year for Massillon in the championship as well. An entire year passed and there still is only 1 scoreboard within view of the crowd. Far away. Sitting in the front seats in the end zone you couldnt even see the flag on the screen for the national anthem. Pretty frustrating for someone like myself who doesnt know as much about football. It would simply be nice to be able to see stats from more than one spot in the stadium. Moving on to parking- there are not any parking attendants other than the people who take your money. Nobody directs you where to park. If you want to park in a lot.... you better be there 3 hours early like we were. That is only for a HIGH SCHOOL championship game! I couldnt imagine the parking/score situation at a professional game. Nice bathrooms and concession though. I feel like these things are not nearly as important as parking and stat boards.
Awesome experience for the pro football hall of fame weekend. Easy to get to. Very nice and clean. Easy to navigate and overall a very nice, small stadium. The lines for concessions were a little longer than youd like, but that is understandable for the unusual volume of the weekend. Also, there were a few technical difficulties during the speeches, but other than that, the venue was great.
Great day as a family a few weeks back! Peyton Manning class act always. We did it all for the love of Peyton and the Colts for alot of years. Took inlaws RV over for the 5hr drive to Canton. We all pitched in on the drive at some point. The parking was nice and shuttles provided to the field. Super time going thru the hall of fame. For our kids to have this memory is priceless 17 and 21 i hope they took it all in. May the love of the game continue in our family and trickle down. We had the pleasure of seeing Hunter Smith a favorite Colt who we now cheer with in the stands on Friday nights to support our kids and our Webo Stars! What a great experience for the books! More to celebrate than just Manning. Many wonderful speaches and I can only hope our boys carry themselves and speak like a pro in the future when called upon to do so! You can take away alot from being part of team and always being prepared. Cheers to the good times as a family. Missing our Carli and Ryan though. Love football always everyone!
Went to watch Massillon Vs Hoban for the div 2 state championship game 2018 I loved the Stadium the seats were comfortable and since they were made of plastic so they werent that cold! The field looked great & the pressbox and club seats looked so warm & beautiful lol
Great facility from an event operators standpoint. Facilities were clean; both technical and event staff were very helpful in navigating the concourse, troubleshooting connectivity of the junction boxes, and protecting crew kit from visitor families and children. Made our production run smoothly, and would be happy to contribute toward events in the future.
Just spent 48 there 4 Ohio Div2 & Div 3 working as ATC for state titles. Beautiful facility. Jim on sidelines was super friendly & accommodating. Chocolate milk should provide milk to athletes, not just 30 bottles to the winner! #Comeon! All athletes deserve it! #changesponsors!
Its a nice statium gives you that nfl feeling with the amount of seats in it. But the score boards need to be replaced actually played when it was nicer in the statium back in 2005 we won btw in case you were wondering its good for state championship games but its in need of repairs.
I attended a Pitbull concert at the stadium and found it to be perfect for a mid-size concert venue. Parking was just across the street and easy to get in and out of. Prices for pop and water were much more reasonable than at a professional ball park, and bathroom facilities were plentiful and clean. The stage was set us so that seating was on just one side of the stadium, so there wasnt a bad seat in the house.
My daughter was married this past weekend at Tom Benson HOF Stadium. This place is a hidden gem! The venue is beautiful and we had many spaces to choose from. The wedding was going to take place on the Sky Terrace, but the threat of inclement weather moved us inside. Instead, the ceremony was in the press box and was just stunning! All their event spaces have unparalleled light from the windows. The reception was in the Club Lounge and was equally spectacular. The event staff were wonderful to work with and made sure that everything went smoothly. The food, catered by AVI, was delicious as well. I would recommend this venue to anyone!
Not handicap accessible. The ramp leading into the main concourse is at roughly a 45% grade. The ramp to the second level, while more manageable, youll be meet with resistance from the elevator operator. According to every elevator operator they have had, the elevator is to be used by coaches and people in the suites. None of the main restrooms have accessable stalls or handrails. Handicap parking is nearly non existent. They have a roped off section, however good luck if the spaces fill up. A week ago three cops were parked facing there wrong way in the curb lane. I had to park a half a block away. As a result of the cops parking in the curb lane and a lack of sidewalks, I was forced to push my wife in her wheel chair in the middle of the street with oncoming traffic moving both directions. If the pro football Hall of Fame is not appalled and the school district is not appalled at these conditions the public should be. This review hasnt even addressed hasnt even addressed physical safety concerns. I urge every single person to call and demand change. If there is anyone that disagrees with this review I will meet you at the stadium with a wheel chair and you can see for yourself.
Looks like this stadium has gotten some bad reviews in the past but I visited for the HOF Game on 8/5/21 and I liked the stadium. Plenty of food/drink counters (a couple hidden ones with shorter lines too), and pretty simple to navigate around the stadium on foot. I did feel like the big columns installed on one side of the stadium obstructed views for half the people in attendance though--not sure why those are there ...
Excellent game and band. Horrible parking. Wasnt allowed to park in parking lot. Had to park streets away. No handicap parking. Watched a lot of people struggle to make it there. But, i have to thank a police officer. Who went out his way to take struggling people to there cars. God bless him. Forgot to get his name.
Stadium was nice. We were there for a soccer tournament and they had a sign up that indicated parking for soccer. So we parked in that lot but there was no indication as to which direction to go or how to get into the stadium. We wound up walking to the front door of the museum. Upon entering we spoke to the person at the front door that was the ticket taker and he was of little to no help basically just told us to walk around the building until we found out how to get in. Wound up finding a gate that not certain if we were even supposed to go in there but we did. After the game was done when we were trying to leave we followed the directions and the signs and it left us two three neighborhood blocks away completely in the wrong direction from where it had told us to park for soccer. Facility looks nice. its under construction right now and Im sure it will be better as soon as the construction is finished but they need to do a better job of directing people where to park.
Fair. Score board did not work at a Hall of Fame game. What is that, because it was the first Black Hall of Fame game that I had the opportunity to attend and it sucked. At the little league and High School games, The boards work way better always. Wowwww!!!!!! Could go farther but what is the purpose 🤔. Expected so much more!!!!
Several doors in the girls bathroom dont latch. Internet service is slooooow. Sound system is good. The idiots in charge of letting people in for the Kent State graduation arent letting people in until 3 when my ticket says 230pm. Obviously a product of the Canton City school system who didnt learn how to tell time. F-.
Went for 2020 induction ceremony for Steelers great Troy Polamou, Bill Cowher and Donnie Shell. Great atmosphere. The only drawback was transportation back to your car. Buses could have been better organized, so we walked back to our car. All in all it was still a great night.
Security really was unnecessary and crazy for a high school game. The seats are so close together, I had to seat with my arms folded, so I dont bump the other person next to me. Also I walk serval blocks to the stadium from Stadium parking lot, I was told there would be a shuttle.
Impressive facilities but could be managed a bit better. The visitors stands had ice and slick spots when we came. We witnessed several adults and a child losing their footing at different times. Despite that and the surrounding construction, the seats are comfortable, concessions accessible and everything I saw was very clean.
We enjoyed being at the stadium. The restrooms are clean. There are a lot of concessions. The employees were very helpful. The only critique is, be there early, or you may have to park a bit further away. There was a shuttle bus but we didnt see it until wed already walked to the entrance. Overall, nice experience.
Seats are uncomfortable. Squeezed like sardines! Food is good, but overpriced. Gotta make someone a millionaire, sure its not the workers making the food. Parking is ok. They should have a parking deck, being a NFL stadium. Parking should be free--millionaire statement. Tigers beat the bulldogs, good enough for me!
What a beautiful Stadium we have Canton Canton Ohio. Its a shame the festivities for Hof weekend will not be taking place this year do to covid-19. Although I wish oh, and I feel in my heart that its still Fawcett Stadium. Go BULLDOGS.BEMOWell guess what hopefully covid has been held at Bay for all of us inoculated people. So guess what ? Come on down, theyre open the bulldogs are going forth this year. As a matter of fact just picked up my season tickets couple days ago. Look for me and my terrific parents whom are all of 83 years old and still going strong. Where at the 50 yard line South side top row no steps involved. Come on by and say hi. Let me introduce you to two of the greatest old people I know.
Awesome stadium with free parking. The seats are super cushy. Only thing I would change would be allowing to bring in outside beverages or small snacks for kids that come along to games. They go a little far on securing the no outside food or beverages by searching your purse, literally digging all the way to the bottom!
The stadium was being renovated...it will be truly amazing when completed. The event staff for Hall of Fame weekend were so kind, caring and helpful!! They really went out of their to assist me and allow me to enjoy my visit, even with a broken foot/ankle!! They allowed me to be able to enjoy an amazing concert and did everything possible to make my visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!!!! The Hall of Fame Weekend Staff were all truly angles!!!!!
We came for the Imagine Dragons concert in August and it was amazing! The seating was not uncomfortable, and there really is no bad seat in the house. Even in the back corner the view and sound was great. Concessions are expensive, even compared to other NFL and concert prices.
The stadium is just okay I dont like the seats that are attached to a scaffold they shake to much and makes you nervous the lower seat are the solid ones. I dont like the prices of the Beers $10 for a regular 12oz $7 for water and so on. I recommend you visit the Stadium for the experience but keep your money in your pocket unless youre going to see the history of the NFL. Stadium prices 👎🏾
Its a beautiful small stadium that keeps you close to the action for the game. I actually was going to give this place a 5 star review but I was disrespected by a rude beer salesman during the hall of fame ceremony. I ordered beers for me and 3 people with me. I passed along $40 to pay for the 4 beers (pretty excessive for bottled bud light). While my money was passed up I was asking the people with me if they had any large bills, as I only had a $100 bill, in order to tip. Before I could even get any money from my friends the beer salesman yelled at me saying I was being disrespectful for not tipping and then yelled out to the entire section stating he would not come back unless people tip. I was not just upset....I was embarrassed. I just hope that someone from the stadium reads this and looks into who they employed to sell beer in section 219 during the hall of fame ceremony.
People have no consideration for the cleaning crew. They trash the stadium like its nothing but ill tell you what, whoever cleans it does a damn good job!! Concessions are really expensive. Cant really afford anything. A soft pretzel is like 5 dollars and a bottle of water is 4 dollars. Crazy to think people buy that stuff. But other than that, its an amazing stadium but couldve been better. I expected more.
The concert was great, but what a disappointment it was when the two end zone big screens went out and did not come back on for the people to see. This is the second year of a disappointment for me. Last year I had floor seats for $130.00 and they put the sound system tent right in front of our seats and therefore had to stand in the standing room only section.
Nice time when going to concerts. Need to have shuttle busses b able to get closer to bleachers...also, need to have sitting break areas along the way because where we got dropped off it felt like it was three miles to walk to the stadium and that just should not be like that. I am quite confident that there is a better way so that people do not have to go through all the crowds in an effort to get to their seating and it definitely should not be miles that you have to walk. Its usually very hot and I dont understand the point of not allowing people to bring their own water and if it has not been opened yet then we shld have been permitted to have our water. That is just NOT OkAY.if the waters not opened we should be allowed to take it through gates. it should not be that big of a deal. Because then you have to walk and walk and walk to try to get something to drink and the prices are outrageous~ it would seem as though that is purposefully done(buy water from HOF n this is Canton, Oh which is 1 of most poverty ridden states n we finally have something to do in this town even if it is 1 time a year). Its already costing a lot to see the concerts. This is 3rd year in a row we have gone n the rules get worse n so much stricter n EVERY1 IS WELL BEHAVED yet there are cops n security everywhere (very unnecessary). The security has nothing to do sccept harsass well intended n paying citizens. This does not need to be this way n if so, there has got to be a better way n there is a whole year to get a better sysyem in place.
I visited for the PFHOF 2016 enshrinement ceremony and game and have to say that while the ceremony was awesome getting in and out of this stadium not so much! Then the whole unsafe field fiasco was a really disappointing finish to an overall great weekend. Not 100% sure, but I believe they really only use the field once a year so youd think that theyd be on top of having the proper paint, but apparently not. Hope to actually see a game here one day!
The game was fun. But the event is poorly managed. Parking is bad, but that probably cant be helped. So you have to take a shuttle. Signage is shoddy and unclear. Wasnt easy to find where youre going. Shuttles are densely packed old school buses.Food service was garbage. Waited over 10 minutes for a hotdog. Cashier had no idea they had a canned IPA - I had to point it out.Security was everywhere, but often just talking in groups or sitting down. Seemed very unnecessary to hire so many people who were doing nothing.I have no desire to go back.
Grew up near this place, part of the local fabric now. They are revamping the stadium, building more stores, hotels and a host of additional attractions. Should be really awesome by 2020 ! They have built new fields for the younger kids to practice on. Big $$$ are being invested by The City of Canton, The NFL and many others.
The HOF is a wonderful organization to volunteer for. Most recently the HOF hosted the Ohio high school championship games. Well worth volunteering and/or attending any event related to the HOF. I volunteered for the Black College Football HOF weejend and that also was a well handled event from the paid professionals to each and every volunteer.
Parking isnt very abundant, had to pay $5 to park in someones yard, with a handicap person! We had to walk a mile and a half to our car and it was without lighting at night! On top of it all she fell from all the construction and gravel all over the roads, without lighting this is why lightning is a must! The people that they hired from Cleveland are very rude to help with this event! We won’t be back! 🙁 High school football event 😡

2022-04-24Wow, this is a very well put together very nice football stadium and multi event multi-purpose center. The seating is well designed and adequate and the upper decks are are great theres even a canopy over a fairly large common area in case of rain. Access and parking are pretty good and will be better after construction has been completed.

2021-08-08Wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of the exhibits and HOF weekend but it was a great experience! What made our visit extra-special were all the volunteer staff who obviously love this place and take great pride in making sure that visitors enjoy their time there! Special shout-out to Mark, who volunteers every Saturday morning! Awesome source of information, especially for two die-hard Polamalu fans!!

2022-06-26A really solid stadium! I went to watch the USFL playoff game tonight, (sadly my team lost), but the experience was amazing! The stadium was modern, had a great layout, and the seats were actually comfortable! The restrooms were decently clean, and the food from the concession stand was surprisingly good too! Overall, a great venue to watch a game at!

2022-06-26The USFL game was a blast to be at. The general admission was suitable seating to see everything. The only complaint is the concession stands. The extremely overpriced food and drinks was somewhat expected, but to only have 2 windows open at the main floor was idiotic. There was a 30 - 40 minute wait to get something to eat or drink. At an event that large they need to have at least twice that much.

2022-06-28Only one concession stand was open on each side. I think the line was an hour long. They wont let you bring in your own food. Hopefully they see this before this weekend. Ill be there for the USFL championship. Let us at least bring in our own waters.
