Ive never been so impressed with the customer service side of a dealership till i started working with Jordan. She goes above and beyond on a daily basis for our location. She has made our work here at Miami Valley Truck Center much easier and the confidence I have in knowing whatever I need Jordan will find it. Thank you Jordan!!!
This company is a fairly ok company, what blew me out the water is how great their customer service is. I got a used truck from these guys and it had minor problems, but with their amazing customer service (Dan in particular) I was able to overcome the minor problems and they’re in the process of reimbursing me my money as well. I’m definitely coming back to these guys (Daniel Richardson) when I get ready to purchase my next truck.
Might want to tell your parts guy buddy to lose the attitude. I was about to get a part I told him it was gonna be card over the phone. He just straight up said no can’t do it it’s over 500. I need the card here. When I called my company he changed the answer to I need pictures of the card and fill out the authorization form. I asked him if he could email it to the company and he got an attitude and said hold on and walked away
Had a windshield put in a 2020 579.charged $520.00 labor and $393.00 for the glass.we normally pay $500.00 for glass and labor combined, at our local Peterbilt dealer and from our local glass company. We were in a bind on time and couldnt get an appointment with safelite.I sure feel like we were taken advantage of on this.I spoke to Ben in service and got no help from him, thats what it costs, he said.We have a 200 truck fleet in the midwest and as Fleet manager I will do everything in my power to never send one of our trucks into another TLG shop!
Not happy at all with the shop or their service, I understand that everyone has different experience. I dropped a truck on Thursday. Before I get there called and asked how soon they get into my truck. One of the customer service told me I can bring it so they can look at it by 11pm that day, Friday called 3x, Saturday once, Monday still waiting to get the estimate to start working on it.
Well. It must be a buckeye issue. I believe his name is buddy in parts. Older guy white hair seems to not like drivers. 3 stars for the name sake. The TLG people in Missouri much more pleasant. So I called the day before ordered 2 cab air bags and 2 cab shocks. Asked the guy to put into wilcall. Will be there when they open. As I did. When buddy showed up he unlocked the gate only enough to get the 2 cars outside, leaving the gate ajar in front of me. Essentially blocking me from entry. WTH!!!! Rude. As it turns out he is the parts guy. Oh boy. I wasnt the reason he has a job, but the cause of him having to work. When on Tuesday I asked for the items to be put in wilcall, apparently that didnt happen either. He asked me what time I called.... is the customer suppose to remember what time he placed an order. So he came from the back with the shocks, went to the front area to pickup the air bags. Thus telling me somebody didnt put in wilcall. Phone records show I called around 1530. When in ohio, Im not going to TLG in sharonville, ohno. I give my money to another dealership
Some people may read this review some not. But let me tell you all about Bob.I call looking for a part Williamson Control Sensor everyone who I called quote me a price of over 400.00 dollars. Bob took a moment to compare numbers and told me the part number were the same item I was looking for he saved me 200.00 dollars. The part did work. Bob is the man at Cincinnati Peterbilt.
We are back 2nd time to pick up our truck only to find out its still not fixed. At least this time we were not broke down on 75 for 45 minutes, 5 minutes from the shop. Our sales man was nice, but i certainly dont recommend purchasing a truck here or trying to get any thing fixed here! After an extremely rough start I cant say enough about the owner and staff to actively work to rectify the issues. Thank you for turning this around.Would do business with you again. Thanks
A past client of ours purchased a 2006 Volvo 630 back in 2014 and the truck has been good. Its still on the road and its never had any major repairs or an overhaul done yet. Their sales guy Joseph M. was very professional, courteous and worked efficiently. They have a pretty decent selection of trucks. I would recommend this place to any trucker in need of a big rig.
Went to TLG Cincinnati to buy a truck and Chris English went the extra mile for us, even stayed past 8pm at night! On a friday!!! Great guy, easy to talk to, works with your needs, doesnt push trucks on you and you can tell him ANYTHING, he will help you out! Thanks Chris, hope to keep getting all of our equipment from you.
Shop takes entirely to long for repairs. Had my truck a 579 with less than 100,000 miles for 4 weeks to repair 3 ujoints and a yoke. Fixed under warranty but still couldnt assign a cause to it. Now the front rear end seal is leaking terribly and appears to be a new one they just replaced. Im worried how long Ill loose it this time. It seems a normal 1 day repair equates to 1 week.
Customer service was fair I think maybe they need a little help more mechanic available on Saturdays should stay open till 5 pm-1 pm does not give anybody any time to fix anything from 8 to 1..why should you be open on Saturday just to tell people that you cant do any work until Wednesday or Thursday..
I had a fantastic experience with the Peterbilt of Cincinnati. Had my truck in another shop for a week in Chicago (DPF issues of course), got on the road and 200 miles later threw a check engine light code. Called the shop and Darryl from Service was able to get me right in, diagnose the additional issue correctly, and got me on the road that night. A very professional team and went above and beyond to get me taken care of. Most impressively though, I received a follow up phone call from Darryl the following night just to check up on how the truck was doing. I never....EVER had any shop ever call me back to see if everything was OK. I just about had to pick up my jaw off the floor I was so impressed. That is truly what customer service is all about. This Peterbilt has definitely earned my trust and will always be on my radar map for any future repairs. Well done Darryl and team.....well done!
Very shady. Shoddy work. Picked tractor up and new code lights were on. Plus when I went to hooked up to my trailer I noticed different airlines and brand new electrical pigtail had been put on. Service department of course denied any knowledge. Basically called me a liar. Ive owned this truck for 22 months. I know my airlines, trust me. I have more work that needs to be done but they wont be doing it. ****update*** have taken truck back 2 additional times to have the problem fixed. 3 weeks down, $3,000 plus in repairs, who knows how much in lost frieght. And guess what???? IT STILL ISNT FIXED.
Based out of Cincinnati, so my company uses them. My truck spent 17 days in the shop for a clutch adjustment and a new synchronizer. 250 miles after picking it up, complete transmission failure. Company got me a loaner truck. It needed new batteries. So 6 days into the loaner i get them replaced. 450 miles later, truck has electrical failure. Not sure what goes on here.
Anyone thinking about purchasing a truck from this company please be VERY CAUTIONS. They advertise that they maintain there trucks very well and ensure they are in GREAT condition but my experience determine that was a big lie and very deceiving. In trucking they say you have to pick your poison and I chose the worse of them all.I bought a 2012 peterbilt in may, I did a DYNO test which read good,, received maintenance paperworks which they claim they did but it appear as though they just clear the lights and codes and sell the trucks as is. Within 3 weeks had to the replace the starting motor, drums and brakes, wheel seals, drain oil from rear axil check engine came on with codes for the entire after treatment system to be REPLACED including the SCR (selective catalyst reduction).Members of sales and corporate where all informed with response that they can do nothing.I wish i did not have to give them a star, but thats the only way i alert fellow truckers out there.BE CAREFUL.

2022-04-29They advertised Rapid Check service. I called to verify that they can honor this service and was told of course. I was not expecting them to fix it in two hours but check and advise. After checking in I started the clock, and I understand that things come up, after 4 hours and 28 minutes I told them I had to leave. Just needed someone to hook up a computer to my truck and read a code and advise me what it was. Yes I explained that to them when I checked in. Not a way to win repeat business.

2022-07-21Have been sitting here for over 3.5 hours and no one has bothered to look at my truck to see whats going on with it. When I arrived I let them know that I was on the clock and still had a load that needed to be delivered so if they couldnt get me in let me know up front. Waited for roadside assistance for two hours only for him to tell me that theres nothing he could do for me, I had to bring my truck to the shop. Now after waiting for over 3.5 hours, they tell me that I will have to wait until the next shift gets in. This has been a day of wasting my time but I guess its ok with them cause its my time and not theirs!! Would NOT recommend them unless you dont mind wasting your whole day. If the wheels arent turnin then you arent earnin. Didnt earn a dang-on dime today!!!

2021-02-25Make sure your intentions are to have time to learn some stuff if you use Chris English as your sales coordinator. Great guy. He definitely hooked me up with some knowledge. Test drove my first 579. Looking to drive a manual then one more automatic. I pray my buying experience will be as good as my learning experience today.

2020-11-17Good afternoon! I want to share my experience of contacting this dealer. I found a small leak of antifreeze in the hose connection. Arriving at the service, I showed this problem, to which I received an answer - lets draw up the documents and we will fix everything. after three hours of waiting, I was told - we removed this spare part but we do not have it in stock and we cannot fix it, or wait tomorrow or we will put everything back. I could not wait because I had a load. the assembly took another two (2 !!!) hours. I ended up spending 5 hours and $ 335 on it. (!) and the problem was not resolved. I have a few questions 1) why remove the part and take money for the work if you know that this part is not available. 2) why drain all the antifreeze? if you can pinch the hoses 3) why did this work take 5 hours? then after driving for 30 minutes, the on-board computer wrote to me that I had a low level of antifreeze, opening the hood, I found that it was less than the minimum level !!!! do you call this a professional service? once again you convince that if a person is wearing a dealers overalls, this does not mean that he is a professional! draw your own conclusions!... value your time and money!

2022-02-10The worst place ever I took my truck for coolant issues they worked on it for over seven weeks charged me over $18000 and when I picked my truck now I have electrical issues. They are bunch of thieves bad customer service I’m in the process of hiring a lawyer to take legal action against them. Don’t waste your money in this place.
