TLC Transit provided my transportation while I was unable to drive, for 6 months, due to surgery. They were always within their estimated time of arrival. Their staff always provided great customer service and assistance.
They dont care about there disabled customers.. theyre always over an hour late to pick my son up from his appointments and a few days ago they stood my son up..he was sitting out in the rain in his wheel chair waiting forever and they never showed up ..smh..they lie and they are not professional...they do have a few good drivers but we couldnt always have them..so were done with these people.
Wait time within the hour means an hour from now or maybe later. Both on delivery and pick up went to the wrong location. Both drivers wereI just do what Im told $110 to simply go around the corner. Called to express dissatisfaction got I do apologize that was it as to their concern.
Called for information and pricing for private pay transportation. Tina was very cordial and polite when getting additional information I requested. TLC is the best price for what I needed to do. The vehicle was clean and the driver very nice. I would recommend TLC and will use them again.
After reading some of the reviews, I thought I would chime in, TLC Transit has done a 360 in the past year, serving the population here in Lucas County, Previous owners ran it into the ground, their goal was at the end of the day what was the profit margin. Since TLC Transit came back on line by the new owner Mr Jon Elston, yeah that guy that was Superintendent of transportation for MR/DD, also that guy that ran TARPS. TLC Transit is a top notch professional business! Its only mission is to transport one with and without a medical device such as a wheelchair or scooter, SAFELY to their non-emergency medical appointment. The companys first and foremost is SAFETY!!! It all helps that the owner of this company has 30+ years in Transportation.
Worst transportation company ever!! The most inconsistent, disorganized, disrespectful business on the planet. If you need to cancel a pick up, this company wants at least an hour notice. If this company is going to be late, you will not receive ANY notice. You have to call them to find out where your ride is.
The drivers are polite.The drivers assist you getting in and outof the van and the van has plenty of space.TLC has a problem of being on time.
Patient was seen in our office and had to wait 2 HOURS! That is unacceptable! Poor communication!I would leave negative stars if I could!
Unprofessional company thru and thru from the dispatch that double and triple books rides and then hangs up on you when you complain about being stranded. They are a real class act LOL wouldnt tell anyone to use their services.
I haven’t had anything but great experiences with TLC! On time and kind drivers! Quick and easy to schedule rides.
Horrible horrible horribleThey always have my patient waiting 2 or more hours for a ride home from the doctor and it makes me so mad I feel so bad for her its sickening shes 70 years old and they have their clients waiting around like that? If I could give ZERO STARS I would!!!
2 min short of an hour...long time hanging out in dr office.
Very very poor service waiting over hour and a half for a ride and poor excuse me if I know anybody that wants to drive that is not my priority or my job.
Very unreliable with pick ups and drop offs, rude staff unwilling to respond to complaints. I wouldnt let my dog ride with them.
Needs to take turns slower but all in all it was a good trip.

2021-08-26I used TLC for the first time and will never use them again. We waited almost 2 hours for pick up for my 98 year old father! Then when the van arrived 2 hours late, the van already had 3 people on it (including driver, companion, and client in wheelchair) and they wanted to put my dad on the transport too! Not during COVID! I called after 3 times in those 2 hours and they said they would be there momentarily. Obviously this was false! This Is totally unacceptable! I will never recommend this company!

2021-12-30They or the facility made a mistake on pickup time for my loved one. However, they did correct it and Ive used them again with no issues.

2021-11-09My pick up time 12:30 p I ck up was 1:39 10 minutes after my apt time. No reduction in fee for being so late. No apology. I am hoping àt this point Dr still sees me. Driver was unkempt and looked Un clean NEVER AGAIN

2020-08-09Tough, but fair. They are busy with loaded schedules, they will arrive on time and will wait a short while (5-15 minutes) before proceeding to the next run. They will go the distance for you though. Transport Vehicles are clean, the AC/Heat works in them actually. They also have good/friendly staff. They may not seem like much if youre spoiled with family rides, but compared to the rest, they are the best in Northwest Ohio.

2021-10-29I was getting discharged at St Lukes hospital at 7:00pm on October 28th. It was raining out. There was one of your vehicles sitting at the doors, under the awning with all the doors open and the lift down and no one in sight. After having hernia surgery, I had to walk to my car, in the rain because of this inconsiderate driver of the TLC van.

2021-09-022 hours waiting in empty lot with patient with dementia. Must have called them 5 times. In this day and age, how could they NOT know if someone was on the way? Smartphones, gps, CB! how do they not know? Put us off 30 minutes at a time.

2019-12-04TLC is one of the best transportation services in Ohio! The staff is professional & the drivers are kind, safe & try to be on time as much as possible! I have seen some of the bad reviews & in my opinion their not being fair! They have one thing that some of other transportation companies dont have..... They actually care about their clients & do their very best to accommodate them!

2019-09-11I am the transportation coordinator at a local nursing home. I deal with all sides of transportation on a daily basis. TLC has been amazing with providing quality care for our transportation needs. They are affordable. Their drivers are very personable and helpful. Family members looking for transportation for a loved one (due to their insurance not providing transportation) I highly recommend TLC, they offer a fantastic service for much less then most local competitors. I have been interacting with TLC for almost a year now with no major issues. If something has occurred they were there to ask questions then got right on top of whatever situation and had it solved. I highly recommend them!

2019-11-20This is the worst non medical transportation company ever. I have only ridden with them twice and both times were an epic fail. They got me to both of my appointments late and the first appointment they were over an hour late picking me up. The second appointment not only were they an hour late. They told me that even though I had a scheduled pickup time. The afternoons are busy and other people had scheduled pickup times too. Do yourself a favor and choose another company

2020-04-09Wonderful first experience with a med transport company. From the first call to an emergency change of times at the last minute, everyone I spoke with was kind and helpful. And Jeff, the driver on two of the trips couldnt have more considerate and nice.Thanks for such a great experience.
