Tire Discounters in other cities:
The worst i’ve dealt with so far, after theyThey changed my four tires the employee told me that one of my sensors got broken while they were changing the tires but they fixed it on their own cost I came back to him and told him that the sensor still showing that there is a low tire and he told me oh because we just put it drive for a day and you’ll be good but that didnt happen, 2 months after changing them i got 2 flat tires. When i told him i want to change 4 tires he started trying to sell me a deal that tires will be covered for a year. Which means he destroyed the sensor and wasnt truthful and tires are bad. Not recommended at all
Nobody wants to buy tires... usually, but Chuck was a good guy to work with. He got me. In and out within an hour. This was a 4 tire job with all the bells and whistles. I even came out paying slightly less than his initially quoted price, and get this, they did a little bit more work than planned. All around good store to go to.
Great overall experience. Bought a new set of tires 2 years ago. Got the road hazard insurance. However I drive a Subaru. Getting one tire replaced with the insurance and another new tire in order to not screw up my Subaru was very reasonable. They were also able to fit me in at the end of their day which was awesome. Extremely impressed with their service.
There was a nail sticking out of my tire, about 3/4 of the nail was showing. Naturally, I wasn’t pulling this out myself because it’s the winter and I’m a stereotypical gay, male. I called the closest tire place, which happened to be this Tire Discounter, Chuck answered and was very helpful and professional. I took it in, they assessed the situation and said the nail didn’t puncture enough to require intervention. They didn’t charge me for their time, although I would have understood. This was a great experience because they could have easily taken advantage of me and they didn’t. Thank you all for the great service!
The service at this location is just phenomenal, Ive gone several times. Today I brought by my 32foot motor home to deal with a seriously low front tire. Chuck helped me and couldnt have been more gracious and friendly, even having to be out in the cold. Will go back for any tire needs, and highly recommend!
They run a very solid operation over there. I have had to literally argue with Steve to refuse favors he has offered while trying to go over and above on work Ive had done. But its not just Steve. All of the guys here are quality people. Very good communication skills, very professional, very punctual, and very transparent. I have gone to them numerous times and am yet to have any issues, or notice any issues in general with this business. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here.
I purchased my tires from a different location a few years back. I was in this area 3 months ago and I decided to visit this location because 3 of my tires had a slow leak. The service took a little bit longer than I would have liked but I really appreciated the work they did because they were able to fit me into their schedule. They thoroughly examined each tire and they ended up taking each tire apart to the bare bones. They could not find anything but they suspected the slow leak was coming from the nozzles. So they cleaned out the debris in each nozzle and sent me on my way. No charge. Well I am writing this review because since then, I have had no issues with any of my tires. Job well done!
I had a specific set of tires that I wanted for my 2013 Ford Focus. I ordered them prior to my installation appointment. They arrived as promised. The installation process was as smooth as glass. Everything was done as promised, the staff was super friendly and I left as a very satisfied customer. No surprises, no high pressure sales tactics. What you see is what you get and they deliver EXACTLY what they promise.
Never buy their warranty. I bought one in 2017 and is told that I have to do tire rotation every 5000 miles to be covered. I usually do tire rotations at the time of oil change at my dealer which is around 6000 miles and I don’t have time to go to their store every 5000 miles just in order to be covered. In addition, they told me I have to change all 4 tires while l told them the dealer has looked into the tires’ condition and told me I can replace only the broken one. I choose to go to another Tire Discounter store on bethel road and they inspect all tires and told me my tires are pretty new and they can cover half of the cost with the warranty and I just need to replace one tire. That store’s review is much better than this one. I should have checked carefully every store’s review before I made decision. Definitely don’t recommend this location.
Worst experiences Ive ever had!!!!!! put me out a few days for an appointment, showed up on time, grumpy waitstaff as they didnt want us there, waited 90 mins for our single tire to get looked over (yes, with an appointment), paid 1/2 the new tires worth for 15 mins of work and they left my rim looking like a dirty mess. They came recommended but will be sure to speak bad of this company to everyone I know. thanks for making it easy for me to never come back again!
I really want to rate this place higher, because the staff are great people....that is, when I can get in. Im supposed to have free rotation and balancing since I bought all my tires there. Theres a little thing I have called a job, so I have to take care of maintenance on my off days. So when i need a tire rotation, i dont expect to be asked if i have an appointment like its a doctors office or something. And I cant drop everything and come in 2 days later because we have no one to do it todayThey didnt require an appointment when I dropped $600.00 for new tires. My dealer has no problem rotating my tires when its convenient for me, and my dealer will have no problem getting my $600.00 for the NEXT set of tires either.
Walked into the Fishinger boulevard location without and appointment spoke with a gentleman by the name of Nick, I was absolutely blown away by how knowledgeable Nick was about my vehicle, and on top of that how polite he was and accepting to my needs. They were absolutely packed with work and had numerous customers up front and still he made me feel like I was the only customer in the building and made sure I got exactly what I needed in a timely fashion I’ve never had such great service at any automotive repair shop period. Anyone who needs automotive repairs definitely go see Nick, you won’t be disappointed!
I would like to begin by saying this company was a 5+ star rating for me since they opened. They have worked on many of my trucks/cars, from tire purchases, rotation and balancing, have done a few oil changes in a pinch. Have spent many thousands of dollars with them. But this is where 1 bad experience changes from a 5 to a 0/1. I will have to continue using them for rotate/balance for the tires I have already purchased since that is part of the purchase and I’m not paying someone else to do what I paid for, but will think twice before using them moving forward for new tires.I dropped truck off 5/2 for rotate/balance before leaving town (VERY appreciative they got me in that quick). Picked up right before they closed and cleaned truck (including waxing rims as I do once a week). I noticed a puncture in one of the rims. I submitted an online claim (#00138509) that night with a confirmation return email. I called the manager while out of town on 5/4 and he said bring it by when I get back in town.Stopped by on 5/9 when we returned, he took a picture and said a “committee” would review. I called back on 5/22 (never heard back from them) and he said it was denied. Said the “committee” deemed they don’t have any tools/techniques that could cause it. Said I must have hit a curb????I then called corporate on 5/22 and created a claim there (no one has a record of claim #00138509, waste of time creating that on 5/2) and the agent said someone would get back with me.Never heard from anyone, so I called corporate on 6/8 and spoke with same agent. He then informed me the regional manager said there was nothing they could do. I had to contact them each time. NOT ONCE did anyone contact me back.I am attaching a picture so anyone can determine for themselves if this puncture looks like it was caused by hitting a curb (no other damage and the puncture is straight DOWN)I would suggest if you use them, take pictures of your rims when you get in their parking lot and let them know you have them.Sad they went from a company I would recommend any day of the week for years to one I would now say if you want LONG TERM CUSTOMER SERVICE, think twice.
Alec one of the managers was awesome in helping me resolve an issue with my tires. This location is far superior to others in the Columbus area. It makes the south Hamilton location seem like a salvage yard in which you can’t escape from. If you value good service at for a reasonable amount of time go to this location not south Hamilton.
Matt was extremely helpful in finding me the tires I needed in my price range. He went above and beyond in explaining to me what I needed and why. He did not try to oversell me anything. He was direct and made me feel comfortable with my purchase. Installation of 4 tires and alignment took about an hour.
The staff at Tire Discounters in Hilliard is always friendly and courteous. They even called ahead to let me know they were running late so my appointment had minimal wait time. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great recommendation and price on new tires.
I had a really excellent experience. They communicated clearly with me, were transparent about the the costs and options, the service was performed efficiently, prices were much lower than competitors, and the staff was friendly. I’ll come here every time I need tires.
I bought four new tires here a couple of months ago. Service was fast and employees were very polite. I recently got 2 screws in one of my tires. I arrived for service about 15 minutes before closing time and the tire was repaired and tires were rotated and I was out of the store within a half hour. So far, I have only experienced good and fast service and courteous employees.
Happy that they were able to accommodate my requested appointment time for a oil change, balance/rotate, and check of my alignment. Employees were friendly and service time was reasonable. The gentleman even told me that the alignment would be half price due to an oil change/alignment special. However, when I picked up my vehicle I was told that the alignment wasnt really necessary but they went ahead and completed it. I found this to be somewhat unethical- I would have liked to have been given a choice if it wasnt really necessary, regardless of the deal, especially if they were going to outright tell me it wasnt necessary. I reviewed my alignment ranges and a few didnt change at all and most changed only a couple of degrees. Would have given a 5-star but this was disappointing.
Fantastic operation!!! Was there 14 Dec 2020. Walked in carrying a sidewall-damaged tire on the rim. They didnt sell me anything I didnt need. In and out in 15 mins with an offer to put it in my trunk!!!! If I lived close to Hilliard, I would do all of my business there!
So so service. Went yesterday for an oil change. Part of what they do is rotate and check the tires. Drove home and the tire pressure light came on. Every tire was 6 pounds low. I just called and to give friendly feedback and let them know they have at least one tire gauge that is reading wrong. The person who took the call, Gordon, said he couldn’t find my work order and questioned whether or not I was at that location. Kind of was argumentative. To me it’s Kind of embarrassing that a tire place can mess up air pressure, Gordon! But make no mistake. I was at that location. Mary and Richard, two very nice service writers were there the day before and were super nice. So my advice is to check your tires yourself before you leave the lot.
Bought my tires here 4 mos ago. Great service. Have tried on 4 different occasions to get them rotated with their lifetime rotation policy. Been told 2 to 3 hour wait. Made an appt at another tire discounters location and got there and was told 2 hour wait. How can you sell a product and then not stand behind it. I can rotate them myself in 30 minutes. Terrible service after the sale. You have lost a good customer
Fantastic, quick service and they told me what my tire pressures were when my vehicle had been brought in and what they were when the car left. Gordon is a fantastic associate and helped me with a great quote on tires. My most fabulous visit ever. Thank you Tire Discounters.
Went to a different TD location last week to get tires, wouldnt do my alignment because the front toe was seized up and was told to get new tie rods & adjustment sleeves & a camber bolt for the left side...my mechanic got everything loose with zero issues & I didnt replace the camber bolt like they said I had to before they would do it, so I went to this location. My alignment was done with zero issues and was on my way less than an hour later. Glad the service techs here werent afraid to put forth the effort to loosen some bolts! Thank you TD! Next time, this will be the location I choose to spend my money at.
Great place to get new tires. Can bring the car back to get them rotated and balanced every 5,000 miles to help make the tires last longer.Staff is friendly and will of course let you know about the promotions they are having, though I have personally only opted for tires and the free rotation/balancing service. They will also let you know about any issues that were discovered during any service on the vehicle as well.
Is scamming your customers part of the employee training!? I walked in today asking for a nail to be removed from my back tire, also for them to plug it up. I was then told he needed a minute to go look at it. After YOUR employee returned he stated that he wouldn’t Plug up my tire cause I needed all new tires. This is funny because I just got new tires about 6 months ago. So with in a few minutes he was trying to Hard Sell me on buying 750$ worth of tires. Oh excuse me, he told me he would give me a ‘Discount’ at 680$. So please explain to me how your EMPLOYEE is able to determine someone needs all new tires, after one minute of looking at it parked. So I left with a really bad taste in my mouth thinking you people just scam unknowing customers into buying tires when they probably don’t need them. How can you value your customers when your just putting your hands into there wallets?I went to my mechanic today, they plugged up my tire and informed me they all were in good shape. Total charge was 25$.I truly wish I could leave a 0 star review.
Service was good. Alec, the GM took very good care of me and stuck around late to get the vehicle done in one day. Some miscommunications made the repair take longer than it should’ve, but the lady who got things mixed up said she’s still new. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt.Only true complaint I have is that somehow the vehicle got rubbed against something green, right along the quarter panel of the bed on the passenger side. Drove by to see if something on the racks there is green and sure enough there is a green box or reflector on the right side of the lift. Easy enough to fix with a clay bar and some spray wax, just sucked to have to do it in the cold.
I have bought 8 or more sets for various cars in varying value ranges plus several odd tires. Tires are tires and I have been satisfied with every set I have bought with regard to wear, quality, and value. What I have found that sets these guys apart is their friendliness and service. Whether on the phone, in person, or just sending my daughter in alone, they work quickly, completely, and give me just what I want at a good price. One time they had a bad installer (based on the fact that he lasted less than a week and they werent surprised when I called). The manager came to where the tire was (it was that bad), took the tire, re-mounted and balanced, let my mechanic inspect the whole deal and let us take it back in for a free alignment after some suspension work I had already planned. Imperfect situation handled perfectly in my opinion.
I got the tires I wanted for the price I agreed on. The tires installed at the appointed time. Picked up the vehicle, everything seems to be fine. Staff was professional and pleasant. The reason for 2 stars? Upon opening the door to my truck there was about 75 cents in change, quarters nickels and dimes scattered about my seat and floor. I keep spare change in the door handle pocket. My question is how hard does someone have to SLAM the door to knock all that change out of the door handle pocket and spew it all over the seat and floor? Harder than I have ever closed my doors, I can tell you that. Then, as I started the truck to leave, I noticed the passenger side window was all the way down. The truck was locked but if you leave the window down, what difference does it make. I have a lot of tools, ammo, and other expensive things I leave in my truck. Nothing was taken but I could have been robbed blind. The tires and the mounting etc all seem to be fine, but when people treat your vehicle with such a lack of respect, you have to wonder about the rest of the job they did that you do not see.
Called Mary on a Saturday morning requesting a quote for tires. She was very professional, and assisted me with the purchased of 4 Michelin tries. Very competitive, and she had me in and out of her store in an hour. Incredible service, value, and warranty were all part of the transaction. Save yourself some trouble the next time you need tires and call Mary.
I first went in earlier this year simply because of a coupon. The new GM (Alec) left me very impressed with his knowledge, above and beyond-level of help and genuine friendliness. Both my wife and I have gone back since, and we have received top notch service each time. Alec (and TD representative-extraordinaire Ellen) have been wonderful in helping out - saving us money where they can and making us feel at home while were there. We definitely recommend giving them a chance.
I was not having a very good day. I had a flat tire first thing in the morning. I took the tire in to get it fixed and was told it could not be repaired that I would need to purchase a new tire. I was not happy as I had just purchased these tires in Dec. They were very good about working with me, getting my car back on the road.
I was in a car accident on 5/19/16 and soon after I was need of some new tires. My mothers husband and I went looking and we wound up at TD. All employees were very nice and respectful and I was under the impression I was getting a very fair price for 4 NEW tires at only a little over $400. I proceeded to take my car back for regular maintenance and had no problem with pricing or feeling like I was being taken advantage of. Until one visit I was told that my car was going to be due for new rotors and beak pads. I asked for the ball park range on pricing so I was prepared for my next visit, and I got the estimate of $700. And in my mind that seemed very expensive. So I did some research and come to find out my boyfriend had put brand new rotors, break pads and ball jionts on his newer truck for only the cost of parts which was a little over $200. In my mind there was no way my little car would cost that much in just parts so there was no way I would need to pay over $500 in just labor. That was the first time I felt taken advantage of by TD. Come to find out I was in need of 2 new calibers and the whole job cost around $800, so I can only imagine how much I would have been charged at the local tire discounters. But like I said before, i went searching for NEW tires after the accident, and what I have come to recently find out, is that I was never given new tires at all. Retreaded tires were placed on my car. Which means used tires that they glued some new tread on too. So Im searching through the warranty and confidently enough Im just over the 12 month agreement and I will have to go purchase 4 brand new tires after only a year of use on the ones tire discounters slid past me. So for a personal recommendation, make sure that when you ask for NEW tires, you revieve new tires, and also make sure you read your receipt very clearly, because sure enough, in the fine print, it says that TD sound me retreaded tires so I dont think there is anything I can do. It sucks to feel as if you were conned out of so much money for no reason but for a business to make a couple more bucks.
Walked in at 8 am saturday morning, right when they open the doors and Alec says that they are booked for the whole day and cannot get me in untill during the week. If i was there to buy 4 brand new tires im sure it wouldnt have been a problem, but because i was getting them rotated he wants nothing to do with it. I live in Michigan but have always bought my tires here, so i stayed in Columbus an extra day specifically to get my tires rotated here, ill just start buying my tires some where else.
Tire Discounters is usually great, so its painful to have to give this poor review (love the Stelzer location).I set up an appointment on their online chat, on Saturday afternoon. I went to my appointment on Monday evening and they did not have me on the books because they didnt see the email that came through with my appointment info. I could have waited to get service, but made a new appointment for the same time the next day, hoping to get in and out much quicker. The next day comes around and the service is not much quicker, as I stayed at the location for about an hour and 15 minutes. That said, the worker gave me good service and the service was free.
Had an appointment for 2:30, they didnt start until 3:50. Had a flat in Pa on a tire that I bought from them, 1 of 4. Still had at least half the life of the tire left. Said they could do nothing, no road Hazzard ins, tire was cut on side wall. Didnt check alignment like they always did, I guess now you need to ask for it. They said I was going to need front brakes soon, so I asked Gary for a ballpark figure so I had an idea of how much it would cost. After he was looking for about 5 min, they brought in my keys. No charge for rotation, but he said it would be another 5 min or so for brake price. Told him forget it, was late for a 4 oclock appointment. I think they lost me as a customer.
Placed 2 new tires. Customer service rep informed me that tie rods were bad. (Thanks for that) When I told him that they were under warranty and I would take them to get replaced by my mechanic, he told me that the parts were original (OEM) and that they could not have been replaced. I know for a fact they have been replaced 3 times. My car was a salvage car and its been in 2 accidents after that. My mechanic, is also my roommate and close friend. I personal bought the tie rods and assisted in replacing them. I am a woman, but I am not clueless! Honesty is the best policy. You dont have to pressure people or mislead them to get their business. Just be honest, fair and provide quality work.
Scheduled an appointment from 12-2 for an oil change and tire rotation on our two cars (originally bought my tires from here). Thought two hours seemed pretty long as this takes 30 minutes for other companies, but agreed to this time slot over the phone as the price was great and I could do some work while I was there. When I arrived, they said the two cars would not be ready until 5 as they had many scheduled appointments that day. What is the point of making an appointment if you dont hold to it? Very disappointing. If you want to save $10 and have 5 hours to waste, come here. If not, consider the $10 a donation and give your business to someone with a little more respect for their customers. Our family certainly will not be feeding any more money into a store that does not respect their customers time.
Went in to get some air in my tire because my tires were low and all of the gas station air pumps nearby werent working effectively. There was no one in the waiting area but the gentleman at the desk made sure to ignore me for about 3 minutes before asking what I needed help with. I asked if there was any way I could get assistance putting air in my tires. He turned his back and muttered bay 2. Completely rude customer service! The only reason I even gave two stars is because the young man who filled my tires up was incredibly nice and made sure to communicate everything that he did and was just pleasant overall compared to the man inside. Based on this, I cannot see myself returning to this location again.
I’ve bought my tires here for years and during the last tire rotation, the techs put 2 of the lug nuts on to where it jumped the thread and we couldn’t get it off without snapping it when we went to change the brakes on our own a week later. I called to just warn them to make sure their techs were being more careful, and Matt offered to make it correct right away. Two weeks later I brought it in, and they not only replaced the 2 we had to break but 3 additional ones that had jumped the threads. My dad being old school greased the bolts when he replaced the tires after changing the breaks. Because of this, additional nuts jumped the threads and had to be snapped. Alex called all over town to find me new ones to be put on. They did this all this free of charge to make sure the car was safe to drive, and I was a happy customer.
Great service...We were heading out of town and saw a nail in the tire and the fishinger location got us in and taken care of. That being said, the only negative is the 12 month road hazard warranty. Some other places its 10 times better. I would have given a 5 star if it werent for the crappy warranty.
I run the office at my company as well as manage our fleet of cars, so I need to make the most of my time when Im out of the office. I called Monday and got a quote for 4 tires with road hazard for $612 and made an appointment, stressing that I was NOT dropping the car off, rather needed the car serviced at the appointed time so I could get back to the office asap. When I got there Thursday morning for my appt, they told me Chris had SOLD MY TIRES. Cant anybody put a HOLD sticker on a set of tires after a quote has been given to the customer? Matt offered to either take me back to work and pick me up - big waste of time - or he would drive to another tire discounters that had them in stock pick them up and drag them back to his place - another big waste of my time. At $70 overhead it costs my business money for me to sit and wait. So he sold me a better set of tires, with a discount, but it was still $100 more then my original quote. THEN not until the tires were mounted, balanced and wheels aligned and invoice prepared did he inform me that road hazard was NOT included in that price - they wanted me to pay for the road hazard ON TOP OF THE EXTRA $100 it cost me for their mistake. I refused the road hazard so I wouldnt be spending $200 more then I originally was quoted. IT WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME AND MY MONEY. I wont be going back there. Ever.
DO NOT GO HERE. I walked into my appointment after telling them what I drove and what I wanted. I just raised my car 1.5inch over stock and wanted a 60wall. They then told me it would rub and I agreed to down size to a 55wall (even though I know people who run a 60 and have no rub with the same suspension set up) Then what I assume to be a manager (unnamed) walked out and said they wouldnt do a 55 wall because it was more than .5 of an inch over what they recommended for stock. I explain several times that it wasnt stock and I just wanted tires on and they refused. Regardless I left and went somewhere that people would take my money and got all new 55wall tires THAT DO NOT RUB. I was going to open a card and give my business to this place, hey but instead I talked to a couple buddys who have large grossing corporate accounts with them and convinced them to move there business else where. Learn to park your opinion and serve your customers.
The representative, John, was exceptionally rude and sexist to me. Initially, my husband and I were told that it would only take 1hr to have the tire replace and an alignment done. After it had been 1hr 40min, I asked how long until my car was done. My question was met with hostile sexism from John. He only spoke to my husband (I was the one who asked!)and said that he has no way of knowing the how long wait times are and that I shouldnt have come in if I didnt have time to wait He treated me as an inconvenience. Furthermore, John demanded that you need to make a decision quick. If you want the alignment done or just leave when I needed to know how much longer the alignment would take. I tried to explain why I needed to know how much longer (it had already been 1hr 40min.) Since we were assured that it would only be an hour. I only asked once. The alignment was not done properly and will need done again. On January 29th I was contacted by Adam who claimed that this is is the first time that John has ever received a complaint. He barely listened to anything that I had to say, down playing my experience the entire time. Before we hung up, Adam promised me that he would try to validate my claim and would contact me later with a resolution/compensation for my experience. As of 2/9/15 Adam has yet to contact me with any results of his investigation or even offer anything in the way of compensation for my experience.Ill be using Discount Tires from now on. They treat me like a person and apologize if they make a mistake or if it takes longer than expected.
My family has been utilizing the services at the Mill Run Tire Discounters for a few years. We are all very happy with the friendly, knowledgeable service we receive at each visit. There is a small town neighborhood environment when you walk through the doors. You arent treated like just another customer. We even stop in just to say, hello!
Easy to set up appointment and I browsed the website for the best deal. Mike is the manager I talked on phone and I originally wanted the Geo Star $48 a piece, but Mike told me a special for the better brand Hercules at $50 a piece but with a $50 discount so it actually saved me $42 more. Free alignment is so awesome and since my Honda Civic was so rusted and corroded at the bottom, the rear alignment was still off. They sprayed and cleaned out some rust and wanted to wait for a day because they do not want to bend the axle too much for a day and risk breaking it, I had to bring the car back the next day. It was no big deal because I only had to wait for about 35 minutes for the second alignment (free) and they fixed it. They really make sure everything is right and will tell you about it. The first day took about 1.5 hrs with tires and alignment.
Had a problem with tire balance and weight installation. I’m from Nevada and had tires installed in Las Vegas but I’ve had problems losing hubcaps. Went to this local store for help and they went above and beyond. Rebalanced all 4 tires and moved weights to the back of tire to allow hubcaps to sit flat against the steel wheels. Very professional and friendly staff and had me in and out in well under an hour. I couldn’t be happier with the service. Thank you Discount Tire!
Never go to this tire discounters. I had them put nee tires on my car which I have not had any problems with the tires themself just with the service I get when I go to this tire discounter location. After they put the tires on my car I went in for a tire rotation and they tell me that two of my studs were cross thread last time my tires were put on and they broke when they were taking them off. After having to argue with them that they were the only ones that touched my tires they finally took responsibility for the cross thread and say that they will fix the studs. Now I take my car to get the oil changed and tires rotated at ntp watching them the whole time come to find out that tire discounter fixed one stud and had just forced the lug nut onto the other broken stud. So finding this out I return to tire discounter to question them about the broken stud and the lug nut that had been forced onto the broken stud just to have the lady working there say they sidnt do it and called me a liar when I said that they had broken it last time they rotated my tires. So all I have gotten from purchasing tires from them is trouble with the people that work there. Like I stated before dont take your care to tire discounter unless you want more wrong with your car then when you brought it in.
You really can go anywhere for tires, but the staff here really care about the customer. I had a nail in my tire recently, and when I called they said come right in we will take care of your at no charge. Within the hour I was taken care of and right back on the road. You might be able to find cheaper tires (maybe), but this is the place to go regardless of price.
I had a lug nut and stud that needed to be changed because it was cross threaded from a previous tire rotation (not by TD). I have had this happen before and the TD in Reynoldsburg, OH gave me a new stud, lug but, and labor for $50. Great deal. However, when I went to this TD, they wanted $300 for the same fix! I pointed out that I had this done less than a year ago at a different TD for $50. They acknowledged that they saw that in their system and that was an “error” and I was “lucky” to get it at that price before. They wouldn’t budge on their price at all.I ended up taking my car to a local shop and they got the lug nut off with their hands and they did the repair for $40 total.Avoid this TD for sure.
The people are respectful and explain the options in full. They only promise what they can deliver and dont hit you with any hidden fees. The prices are competitive and I also like the 3-year all-encompassing warranty. The Hilliard store seems busy, but they still completed the job in the estimated two hours which I find to be impressive.
Husband showed up 15 mins early for his 11:30 am appointment, was told his truck would be done by 3:00 pm. He showed up at 3:30 pm because no one has called to update him, only to find out his truck is in the lift with no tires on it and they are still waiting on the tires to come from Polaris. Which certainly doesnt take that many HOURS. No calls to update on what was going on, just left in the dark and screwed for the rest of the day since we live an hour away. No courtesy or regard for our time.
Better service, after going to other Tire discounters on bethel rd, who has no time for me and asked for $29.99 to fix a nail..I came here and right away they fixed it for free..Do not know how same TD has 2 close locations, with 2 different pricing and CS..?!!Just couple of miles away, than the one of Bethel rd, yet 100% far better in everything
Soooo apparently Ive been driving around with a nail in my tire for ohhhh about a year. Didnt know what was wrong; just kept putting air in it every couple weeks. Since Im traveling out of state this weekend, decided to bite the bullet and get 2 new tires. Came to Tire Discounters (Mill Run location) where Mary the General Manager personally took care of me. She measured my tread and said I had plenty of life left in them, lets just take a look at the problem tire. Voila! A nail. Easy peasy tire plug, $25 instead of $400. Thanks Mary! Plus Im entertained by the signs around here. Really appreciated the integrity, the great customer service, AND the clean restroom! Highly recommend this location.
I ended up with a roofing nail stuck in my front right tire. Worried, I called the location on Fishinger Rd. in Hilliard, Ohio. The man who spoke to me told me that the location closed in an hour but he would take a look at it for me. I know nothing about tires except you should keep them inflated. I rushed to the location and the promptly took care of me. I left my dog in the car while they were repairing my tire and they complimented me on how pretty she was. It was a fantastic experience. The employees who helped me were fantastic & I was very grateful for all their help and my car is driving better than ever.
Spectacular service! We had a daughter stranded in Columbus (two hours away) and Gordon Tanner found a way to get her on the road in a very busy time for him (Saturday). She was in Columbus to take her boards for her RN. His quick service got her to her back on the road and to her test in less than an hour. He really saved the day. Thanks again.
Fiancé had tires replaced on Saturday. They took 5 hours to get it fixed, and when they finally called saying his car was ready, they stated (very snotily) that they had closed 10 minutes ago. That kind of unprofessional attitude is a big no no for me and I do not recommend them. We will go elsewhere next time.
I was thoroughly pleased with the service and experience I had with the Tire Discounter in Mill Run. After shopping around multiple tire shops, Tire Discounters not only had the best prices, but they were so helpful and knowledgeable and got me in and out so quickly! Im officially a Tire Discounters Lifer!!
Just stopped in to have a tire plugged, already had the tire off the car and in hand.. Told me sorry it would be an hour and a half until they could do it.. Lol to plug a tire.. Five guys there two actually working only two cars in the bays. Went to auto zone right next door and plugged it my self in 20 seconds used free air. This shop is a joke..
Awesome, as per usual. Every one there was super nice, didnt give me attitude when I asked if there was maybe a cheaper tire for what I needed, got me right in and out even after I told them I wasnt in a rush. Have gone there there before, will happily go back there again. Good job, Guys!
Talked at, not talked to. Felt like bait and switch between the location manager and the tech doing alignment job. I waved off the up-sale until after first of the year. As I was leaving, I said, Thanks, see you after the first of the year. Response from the manager, Yeah, you sure will. Just bad wording? I hope so. I had an alignment job done.

2022-02-17I was in Columbus for business & got a flat tire late in the afternoon. I planned on driving home the next day - I HAD to get it fixed right away. TD got me in immediately & out with a new tire within 1 hour. They even reminded me I would need an oil change soon based on my mileage & recommended I get my remaining 3 tires rotated at that time. They were fast, friendly, and reasonably priced. I recommend this TD location.

2022-07-06These guys are literally the best! The partnership with Uber to get me to and from their shop, so I can continue with my day - genius.Their work - impeccable.I needed four brand new tires and they had me in and out, during us into their schedule! Then, when my tire found a screw on the road, it was a single appointment, handled and taken care of, back in the road within an hour.I wont be going anywhere else for a long time.

2022-03-24Tires were good. Wasn’t happy that I called day before , got an appointment, said had tires but then get to shop day of appointment and was quoted $300 more than was over phone day before. I wanted 4 new tires, was told they had them for my appointment but apparently someone sold one of the tires so they only had 3 so now it was $399 more. The gentleman was able to find different brand and lowered it. However I still walked out paying about $100 more than quoted. I guess all I can recommend is if you call and get an appointment, call before u actually go to your appointment to make sure they haven’t sold what was promised to you so you don’t pay more or waste your time.

2022-05-15Guy ay the front really worked with me on tire price. And the service techs were extremely fast that day. I mean half the time he estimated. I double checked my lug nuts and seal to make sure. Balance and everything on spec

2022-05-26Had a nail in my tire the day I was going out of town. Another shop didn’t have tires in stock for my car so I called TD. Not only did they have a variety of tires to choose from, Konner, the service manager, got me in and out within 2 hours of my calling. Great and fast service! Will be back to this location again for sure.

2022-04-23They were easy to deal with and helpful, Steven helped me and was polite and courteous. Would have gave 5 stars if they had free food like donuts or danish. Tire part was cool tho .

2022-04-21I have taken many vehicles here. I have been always impressed with the honesty from fixing what I came in for plus giving me heads up of what may come so I can prepare my budget accordingly! Thanks again!!

2022-05-21Absolutely avoid this particular shop at all cost. After patronizing Grismers for years I decided to get a quick front break job for my nissan from TireDiscounter Hillard. Two new calipers, pads, no new slide pins and ABSOLUTELY no grease on the clips and my pads are seized up, rubber boot on caliper destroyed, piston seized after less than 10,000 miles! No excuse for this type of poor work and all for 750.00 dollars!!!! AVOID this place!

2022-03-30Do NOT take your vehicle here! Dropped off an suv for an alignment after some new parts. They were short staffed and needed a few day...no biggie. They called me day 2 and said one of the eccentric washers (alignment) was stripped and needed replace...so i bring them a replacement. The asst. manager tells me there MAY be an issue with rust but isnt sure...weird, he couldnt tell me what the issue was for sure, and they needed another few days to look at it. I towed the vehicle to another shop where they sent me photos of my damaged subframe due to technicians neglect and inexperience. Tire discounters has not offered a resolution.

2022-07-08Have had 2 tires plugged at this location, quick good service that is very timely. Will be back!Came back a year later as I picked up another screw, found the belts starting to come out of 3 of 4 tires after 65+K miles. Set me up with a new set of tires in under 24 hours. Excellent service and VERY competitive prices. Will be back.
