Tire Discounters in other cities:
I like to use Tire Discounters on Sunbury Rd even though it is out of the way for me. I trust them because I trusted Jimmy and Tommy at a previous tire shop. Trust is important. They have earned mine with their honesty, integrity and good work. I value their opinion as a single parent who has car questions at times. I know I can count on them!
I went in with a rattle underneath my car and asked if someone could just look at it to make sure it was safe until I could get to my mechanic. It should have taken 15 minutes...but 2 and a half hours later I received my car back with an oil change but no answer to my original reason for being there. When I asked the mechanic what the rattle was, he rudely said he did check for a rattle because it wasnt on the sheet. It was the entire reason I was there. I was given an oil change which I paid 65.00 dollars for and I just asked for someone to look at my car. When I got there there were 2 cars in the bays. This was ridiculous and I shouldnt have had to pay anything. I came in crying...did I mention I was there for 2 and a half hours. I had other engagements that I had to reschedule. I come here all the time but I will be rethinking that choice. The mechanic had no right to be rude to me. Very unprofessional.
Called for a morning Saturday spot and was told to come on in. They had the brakes in stock and my car was done in two hours. Tire Discounters and Tom cared more about my car and my safety then the dealership where the car was purchased. I will continue to do business with this facility. Thanks again for having a great attitude and taking time to care for a customer and their car.
Wonderful customer service! I had already bought tires. Went in to have then mounted, balanced and alignment. For a Friday I luckily got right in and they had it done in under an hour. I had some corrosion on my rims and they even cleaned those for me! They also hung a coupon on my mirror for an oil change so Im going back tomorrow for that. Overall best experience Ive had in a long time. Will definitely be back! 🙂 Will try to get the gentlemans names to post.
Had 2 vehicles done here in less than a week. Ford Explorer and a Mercedes. Both done in a timely manner! Customer Service was great.....they were extremely busy yet time was taken to explain warranties and best tire for each vehicle within budget. Went with the General Grabbers for the Explorer and Continental Extreme Contact on the Mercedes!! Need tires...go here!!
Great place to get a set of new tires. Ed and the staff were very helpful and were able to answer any questions that I had and explain to me what I didnt understand. The service time was pretty quick, even though they seemed busy. Reasonable prices and a free alignment. We will definitely be back.
Got a flat tire on my way to work. Tire Discounters in Delaware Ohio got the vehicle in while I was at work, 4 new tires were needed, 4 new tires on. Very fast and friendly guys in the shop. They were so nice to my little 5 year old and let her watch tv while I paid. Highly recommend Tire Discounters, especially in Delaware Ohio.
Fantastic experience at Tire Discounters at Delaware, OH today. Had a tire repaired and thru conversation the manager found out I am a Veteran. He handed me my keys and said thank you for your service, have a great day! I told him he doesn’t need to provide the service for free. He said he knows he doesn’t need to but he wants to and is thankful for my service. The entire customer service experience up to that point was exceptional and very professional. Definitely recommend going their for tires and maintenance needs.
Obviously, there are staffing issues. It adversely impacts their ability to provide customers with the service expected from a large chain. That should not be my problem. When a person needs tire service they dont need to hear appointment times when they can come back. Very disappointing.
Jim and his team at Tire Discounters were amazing!!! We were only an hour into our vacation trip to Alabama and had some unexpected car trouble. They got our vehicle in right away and got us back on the road in less than 2 hours, on a Saturday morning no less! Thanks, Jim!
Every time I have went to this location I have had nothing but outstanding customer service. Today was no exception. I arrived at opening to get a tire looked at. I mentioned that I needed to be at an appointment by certain time and they got my tire fixed promptly. Thank you for your continued excellent customer service!
I had a power steering line with a hole in it. It was obvious where the leak was coming from, so I asked the salesman Ed, how much would it cost me to have the hose replaced. Ed went with the usual they have to do an inspection to see what they find scheme instead of just changing the hose that I wanted changed. So I went along went the scheme just so I could see what they would come up with. I signed the paper and gave him the keys. I wanted to be sure that since he told me that it would be $82 to see what leaks they could find, that they were going to check from front to back. Then he told me that it would cost me $120 for a full inspection. I asked for my keys and left!!! I cant trust a place like that to work on my car because they dont do business ethically. Con Artist of America should be their name. JUST FIX THE HOSE I WANTED FIXED!!!
Terrible service. Tried calling and emailing about a brand new tire from them that keeps losing air - no response. Online chat - down. Online form - wont submit. SCAM. Went to a partner location to have my tire fixed, spent $70 and they denied being partners with TD, so it ended up coming out of my pocket, even though the TD sales rep on the phone said theyll cover it. Tire is still leaking. Theyll try to upsell you on tires you dont need, and the ones they give you simply do not meet road safety standards. Looking for a response from the company, otherwise I will get a third party involved for scamming customers.
These guys have treated me great for the last seven years. Last night, however, they went over and above my expectations. I was under a tight timeline and they bent over backwards to get me in and get me out.All of they guys that work there are very knowledgeable about the tires they sell. I highly recommend talking to them directly and bypassing the call center (press 4 on the phone menu.)
I found myself needing a new set of tires after experiencing a sudden tread separation on my factory installed tires. After getting the car back I noticed lots of vibration that wasnt present before taking the car in. Additionally while I was picking my car up I had to wait a significant amount of time while the manager was more concerned with talking to his buddy about their trucks than checking out customers. With all of this I decided to have the vibration looked at by my dealership who said I had a bent rim. This leads me to question the quality of work being done at this shop. How could they have not caught a bent rim while it was being balanced and why did they not tell me about that damage. I will look else where for tires in the future as this wasnt the first bad experience I had with this location.
Ive been going to Tire Discounters in Delaware for a couple years now for service, and Im always grateful for their work and outstanding crew. Today, they managed to work me in even though I didnt have an appointment, and my wait was much less than they originally estimated; I was in and out quickly! I appreciate the teams upfront communication on costs, the work they will be doing, etc. Couldnt be more pleased! :)
Originally was in about nine months ago Wife had to have some work done to her car about a month and a half later there became another problem due to prior work not the technicians fault but the parts that was put on the car went bad. Took the car back in we had no issues staff was very friendly especially Ed and his team was able to fix the issue and been good ever since. Went in again today thought we had to get a new tire due to the tire always leaking air was ready to spend money. Then tire discounters was very honest and informed us it was the valve that was leaking air and the tire did not need to be replaced. We was charged $0. My wife and I was so impressed with tire discounters that we have bought them a pizza for lunch in the past .
Pricing is competitive, service is great and front counter people are quite friendly & helpful. I got new tires mounted, balanced & an alignment (free). Complete inspection for my vehicle & nothing needed. Nitrogen in my tires at no extra charge. Very happy with this store!
This used to be my go to place for having work done, but lately have started to notice their customer service is starting to go downhill, while their prices are going up on basic sevices. The only reason I am giving them 3 stars, is because of the pricing on their tires and install.Called a couple months ago to quote getting spark plugs changed. It started off on a rocky start when the tech didnt even know how many spark plugs were needed for an 8 cylinder Chevy engine. They then quoted me $600 to just change the plugs. I took it to the dealership which charged me around $250.Also noticed oil change pricing gas gone up. Used to be around $30, now its up to $50. Was told its because they went to a full synthetic, but shouldnt there still be options for people? Finally, the 2 hours I was there waiting for an oil change today, I noticed that the people working at the counter, were hardly at the counter. If there wasnt a person to wait on, they were out in the service bays. I noticed people walk in, wait for about 5 minutes, and turn around and leave when nobody helped them. While I will still go to them and recommend them for tires, I can not see myself using them for anything else, unless absolutely needed.
I had my disk brakes on both axels replaced here yesterday and my experience was a little mixed. The price is pretty fair but I had an appointment for 11am set up already, I showed up at 11am and had to wait for a friend to pick me up. While I was waiting I witnessed many cars that came in for tire service, with and without an appointment, get worked on before my car. They never even inspected my car and called me back with what it needed until 4:15pm. So what in the heck was the point of making an 11am appointment in advance??? Anyway, the staff was very nice, they did it for the quoted price and still had it done that day at a little after 8pm, which is after closing so I appreciate that...hence the 3 stars.
Great place for tires. Guys at registers really fixed me up in a pinch! On my way on a 2000 mi trip and heard a tire thumping. Wheeled in and told them the problem. They test drove it and recommended I have all 4 tires replaced before the trip. They showed me all 4 tires were cupped. They got me right in and out in 2 hours. It delayed my trip but I got there and back safely!
I was told two days prior to my appointment that I should make an appointment to get 4 new tires, which I did that day. I brought my car in at 11:50 am for my 12:00 appointment. I went for a walk and when I returned at 1:20, the car was on the rack. The mechanic pulled the first tire off at 1:30 (an hour and a half after the scheduled appointment time!) I started to walk around the building (for exercise) while he worked on putting on my new tires. He left around 2:00 and returned maybe 30 minutes later. I finally had my vehicle at 3:00! I dont think it shouldve taken 3 hours to put on tires when I had a scheduled appointment. The most disappointing part of the entire experience (and I have purchased tires here for years) was the robot front desk employee who handed me my paperwork with no comment. I actually took the time to say, Thank you to him. (Since he wasnt going to------so much for customer service!) I was extremely disappointed with my time at Tire Discounters.
When I took my vehicle here to get a tire replacement and an alignment done as my wife had hit a pothole and did not tell me. I got my vehicle back with a worse alignment than when I dropped it off! Clerk said that I needed parts to align it better. (All while not wearing a mask during a pandemic.) I know a bit about cars and knew that I didn’t need parts to get it aligned properly (or even at least better than what they gave it to me). I took it to the Polaris location and they did the job right! They also affirmed I did not need parts to fix the alignment. I am not against TD but don’t waste your time here, go to a different location.
This has to be the WORST tire discounters in Ohio. Before I left my house I called to see if I needed an appointment for oil change and rotate and balance. He said they were not busy and to come on in. I drove all the way there and when I walked in, the front counter guy was sitting on a chair looking at his facebook, did not even turn to acknowledge me until he was done scrolling. Then proceeds to tell me that I need to make an appointment because they are about an hour and a half from being able to work on it. While all of their techs are just talking in the shop. It was a waste of my time and fuel. I do not recommend this shop to anyone.
I had a tire blow out the other night. I called around and though it was close to closing time, their manager (I think it was John) said to come on in. They were tired but they answered all of my questions, and did not try to sell me high end tire or even make me think I had to buy a pair of tires. They gave me the best deal on a quality tire and the lady at the front desk was very helpful. Brian in service also answered all of my questions and helped me understand my purchase without hesitating. I will go there again for my tires because they are down to earth, great people and they are there to serve! Thanks for helping us get back on the road when it was late and close to closing time, staying late and helping us out although I could see you all had a long day and were very tired!
I would not recommend going to this location. The only reason I rated them 3 stars was because of the manager, Micah. I ordered a new set of tires with Jason and he told me they would call when they came in, in a few days. Almost a week later, and apparently a new computer system, I had to call them to see if they had got the tires I requested. I was told they did, so I arranged to get an appointment. When I left my car I left a piece of paper with the tire they were to be putting on because I had a feeling I was not going to get what I had requested. When I went to pick my car up, I parked beside it to see if they were the correct tires, nope! I went in to “pay” but before I asked Jason what tires were put on and when he told me the wrong tires, I let him know that’s not what I ordered. He just wanted to keep saying that is what was ordered and that’s what fit my car. Nope, not happening! All he wanted to do was argue with me and try to put the blame on who ever ordered them, it was Jason. Long story short, I left my vehicle without paying. My husband called and talked to Micah who gave us a discount. After I drove away, still very upset, I noticed it was not a smooth ride. They didn’t even balance the tires! Obviously, we went to a different Tire Discounter to have it done. Not sure if Jason just thought since I was a woman he could get away with it or what, but not this one! Thank you, Micah for trying to make the situation better and admitting the wrong tires were ordered, unlike Jason.
After taking the tire in I was assured that it was fine and ready to go. Went home to put the tire back on and could hear the air leaking from the spot that I pointed out the manager I assume. I am not happy, I could have drove the car with the bad tire with my kids in the car and something major could have happened. This is why I will remain a loyal customer to Discount Tire.
On my way home with my 7 month old baby, I got a nail in my tire. We were able to make it to Discount Tire in Delaware where Mike and Ed got us right in without an appointment. They were very courteous and extremely helpful! Thank you guys for your service and all of your help!!! I cant thank you enough!
Stopped in on my day off work because one of my tires wasnt holding air. After telling them what was wrong they told me there were 4 or 5 people ahead of me and asked if Id be able to come back tomorrow since it might be a while. I said it was my only day off so they took my keys and said theyd try to squeeze it in between. After waiting only about an hour my tire was patched and ready. They were nothing but kind and professional the entire time and all they asked of me was to come back when I needed some tires. I will most definitely be doing that. Great people and great service.
I can honestly say I went in with very low expectations, I normally will not let a chain place touch my truck but I needed someone with an alinement machine and decided to give them a try. They fit me in quickly, finished the job in a reasonable amount of time for a fair price and the customer service experience was above expectations. I will definitely give them a chance next time I need tires.
I have visited here often and I have received good service every time. This past weekend I took my vehicle after seeing a small leak in my drive way. I was able to leave the car in the morning without an appointment.Later in the day I received a call and was told that the technician discovered a small leak in the transmission but for the age of the car that is normal. TD also noticed a small hairline crack in my oil pan and suggested a repair. The work was done quickly and is guaranteed! They treated me like family.I have liked the service so much I encouraged my local office to use their service for our fleet maintenance.Shout out to Nate for flawless customer service!
I DO NOT recommend this Tire Discounters. A few months ago i had my Brakes changed at this location and shortly after my car start to make a random knocking noise when i braked. I took the car back in and explained the situation. The Manager, Micah, tried to tell me that it sounded like a suspension issue, which i argued didnt make sense as the knocking ONLY happened when i braked and it was only happening sporadically. He was dismiss of my concerns and was positive it was suspension related. The next day, after having to call them several times, I was told that they couldnt find any issues after taking off the wheel and that they thought it was likely the CV Joint. They said that they didnt want to do the work as they werent 100% sure that was the issue though and couldnt get the car to reproduce the noise when they had it. They told me though that the car was SAFE to drive on and to come back when the noise got worse. After driving it a little longer the noise was getting worse so i took it into my dealer for a 2nd opinion.Per the local Toyota Dealership, there is a caliber bolt MISSING from my front driver brake. They asked me if i had recently had my brakes replaced, and i had at this very tire discounters. Not only did the Tire Discounters make the mistake of not putting the caliber bolt back on after having my brakes replaced, but when i took the car in to have it checked out they LIED and said they had taken the front wheel off and checked the brakes and said they were fine.I am beyond angry! I am calling their corporate office today to file a formal compliant but i wanted to be sure to share this online so others dont make the mistake of coming here.Especially if you are woman. The attitude i received from the manager at this location when I told him i was positive it was something with the brake and him dismissing my concerns is very upsetting to me.
Wouldnt reccomend this place. Went in for an alignment and later said they couldnt do it so I asked for an explanation as to why they couldnt. Told me that my wheel bearing was loose and making noise and they couldnt get a nut off. So, I went to my mechanic the next day to ask him to check out cause he does some of my replacements. Come to find out he could easily loosen both nuts that they said they couldnt loosen, and he had a wheel expert even show me that my wheel was making no noise and wasnt loose. Never doing business with this place ever again. On top of all that, I asked them what the price would be to fix it, they said I would be looking at $800+ mind you the alignment was already $100 and the part I needed replaced was only a little over $100. Id avoid this place if you wanna save your time and your paycheck. Go to your local mechanic.
I called these guys, out of the blue . . . as I had a trailer tire (not purchased from them) that had a bad valve stem. Of course I found it this afternoon and am leaving on a trip in the AM. Help! They said bring it on down. When I got there, they put a new valve stem in and wished me on my way - was in/out of there in less than 10 minutes. When I went to pay, Jon said No Charge, glad we could help. That is great service! I will need four new trailer tires this summer for my other trailer - you can be dang sure Ill give these guys my business.Great customer service, THANK YOU!
Update 10/6/18: These guys are just awesome! I have had different types of service here. I bring my car, moms car, and have another friend come here as well. These guys have always been great and take good care of the cars and tires. I really appreciate everything you folks do for us.
I came in tonight after getting home and hearing air hissing from my tire. Of course it was a half hour before closing and I hated to be the person to go in that late but none the less they took me right in, found the nail, and patched it right up. Everyone couldn’t have been more friendly and hospitable. This was my first time in here as I’m new to Delaware, but needless to say I will be back after the great service and kind technicians! Thanks for staying late and getting my tire all fixed up!
Bought a set of tires 3 years ago with a 50,000 mile warranty. 25,000 miles later they are bald with 2 alignments, proper rotations and no front end damage in that time frame. They offered me a credit towards new tires that added up would equal about 1.5 tires if I got cheap ones. I would rather have the 25,000 miles then to have to shell out more money. Manager was real short with me...Horrible customer service. Taking my business elsewhere.
This shop is a vast disappointment. Many other discount tire shops in central OH are pretty solid, but every aspect of this visit has been terrible. The front desk employee made me feel like I was a real inconvenience, the wait had been excessively long, and the facilities are shoddy at best. I am currently watching a handful of employees stand around and chat with no real intent to do work while my car sits in front of them with no one doing anything. I am here to have ONE single tire replaced and it has been 2 hours. Seriously pathetic. Poor employees, attitudes, facilities, and work ethic. Will never come here again, and will actively advocate against it whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Scheduled an appointment less than 24 hours out. Wife took the car in the next morning as we had a slow leak in one tire. We were expecting to get offered a new tire or told that we needed to replace something. Instead, they said some corrosion on the rim was causing a slow leak, cleaned it, filled up the tires and sent us on our way - FREE of charge. Great experience and service. Good to see businesses still out there like this one. Highly recommend!
I had an issue with my low profile tires and after replacing 9 tires over 2 years John, Ed and cayenne help lessen the pain with Speedy service Great customer service and more importantly identifying a new set of rims and tires in order to get out of the low profile Tire issue. It is now been 2 weeks and I couldnt be happier not dealing with the sensitivity of low profile tires. They were more than accommodating and overall a very fair deal which made the frustration of blowing multiple tires on the road a lot easier. Great work Tire Discounters team Delaware Ohio.
Took my car in for brakes this morning thinking that I would be taken of relatively quickly. 2 hours and 4 ppl behind me later I left with we are open until 4pm. Were you going to wait that long here ( ie sitting in the lobby)?. Good pricing, and friendly staff is about all the good I can say about the chain tire store. Check your local mechanics and shops before tire discounters.
If it seems like a good deal, this shop will make you pay for it in some way. One example being the 4.5 hours they make you wait and take half day off work to put a patch on a nail hole in a tire, or 8.5 hours and an entire day off work to wait for an oil change, rotate, balance, alignment, and one repair they said needed done. Now after paying $70 for 3 years worth of alignments which sounded like a great deal, they always find something wrong with the vehicle as an excuse not to do the alignment and it always seems to cost around $800 or more to fix whatever they say is wrong. I no longer trust what they say about needed repairs and will take my business somewhere that doesnt need to rely on sales gimmicks like free alignment to get business.
Have to say Ive been very pleased in the past. But recently had a poor experience. Took over two hours to mount two tires. Had an appointment. They pulled the car in right away but then worked on other things for hours. I was the only person waiting the whole time and just a few minutes from one employee would have had me on my way. Disrespectful of my time and the work was quite expensive.
I was there 3 times. First time I had 2 tires leaking air. They said it was rim corrosion. They told me it was fixed. A week later, my tires were flat again. I took it back. They said they fixed the wrong tires. They fixed them again. A week later my tires were going flat again. I went back up there. This time they said they didnt have time to fix them. Which was a blessing. I took my truck to RNR tire. I waited half the time, and my tires are fixed. Dont waste your time here. Go to RNR tire and get it done right the first time.
I brought a vehicle in to get a tire replaced while I was working. I asked them how long they thought it would take because I was on the clock and had to get back to work as soon as possible. They said it would take about 45 minutes. They pulled my van in within 5 minutes of my arrival. It sat in the bay for about 35 minutes without being touched, after they removed the tire it sat for about 40 minutes before a guy came over to install the new tire. When he was finished the van sat there for another 10 minutes before they backed it out and I could go. The job took twice as long as quoted because the majority of the time my van was sitting there not being worked on. Im taking my business elsewhere.
I needed a tire repair this weekend and it was a really busy day for Tire Discounters. They still worked me in and actually found that I had a major issue on another tire, along with the one I knew had damage. They were able to replace both tires and change my oil. I hated that I had to replace two tires, but am grateful that they found the problem and could correct it. I would really hate being stuck on the side of the road and I have to go out of town next weekend. I truly appreciated that they made time to take care of me on one of the busiest (and hottest) Saturdays in a long time. You guys rock! Thanks again!
Horrible place! I am a 65 year old woman and was told by them that the date stamp on my tires were the same and that all 4 needed to be replaced as they were 7 years old. My gut told me that something wasnt right so I went into Columbus to a different tire store. Come to find out that I was lied to about the date stamp on the tires and that the only way to see the date stamp, which is on the inside of the tire is to put it up on a rack. Tire Discounters did not do that!!! And they quoted me $200 more! Do not go there! Buyer beware!
Had an oil change Saturday, found oil all over my garage floor Monday after it sat since the oil change. Took it back and it was supposedly a bad gasket on the filter and was told they been having trouble with bad filters, then was told they topped off my windshield wiper fluid as if it was something extra for my inconvenience. I thought that was always done with an oil change. This isnt the first issue Ive had. I also had them check my brakes and was told they were fine, next week I was down to metal. Needless to say I wont ever go back. They have gone downhill fast!!
I cannot speak for all of the Tire Discounter stores, but I can tell you the customer service in your store in Delaware Ohio has been absolutely remarkable so far. John treats the customers with respect and a friendly attitude . Micah, the store manager is extremely lucky to have people like John and Ed to take care of the customers. But even beyond that, the service techs were very helpful and considerate...Customer service in this day and age has become obsolete almost everywhere you go. NOT TRUE AT DELAWARE OHIO TIRE DISCOUNTERS. I will continue to buy my tires there and continue to highly recommend them to friends and family.
Service was good (not great) for two tire replacements. Made an appointment a week earlier, which I would recommend. Walk-in traffic was busy.My only beef: the shop should take the time to wipe the new tires clean and apply some tire shine. Mine were smudged from the install all over. After all, the customer is buying new tires...so make them look new! Sounds picky I know...but its negligible time and material to perform...and leaves a lasting impression. Other Tire Discounter stores Ive shopped have done this.
Had an appointment, went in for a balance and rotation. One hour and 15 minutes later they hadnt done anything and told me I needed new tires. Then I told then I needed to leave and it took them another 30 minutes and me asking multiple times to get it off the rack. Go to Discount Tires or at least a different location of Tire Discounters.
Left my car 2 hours to get a tire patched. They called and said my car would not start. They just handed me the keys like there you go pal! They flooded it and ran the battery down. So I had to jump it myself and get it started and no one there even cared about me being handicap in the rain at dark. Not a good experience!
Customer service is terrible front desk ppl have no skills. Bought a new tire and blew in 7 days no sign of nail or anything else confirmed by tech. Blamed us for driving on flat tire, not possible as we habe low air detection. Blew out on highway, so yes we had to drive on a flat to get overt to side. What a bunch of crock, taking my business elsewhereFollow up- store called me back to offer a solution. District MGR called later as a follow up. Thanks for the solution and compromise!
Tire Discounters, you lost a 15-year customer over a $15 part: shame on you! I have given this company every opportunity to correct an issue that they caused when their Delaware, Ohio damaged a TPMS sensor on my vehicle. After attempting to resolve with the store and regional manager, as well as submitting my concern to corporate three times, unfortunately I have no choice but to leave them a bad review on public websites.
After a less than happy experience at the Tire Discounters in Gahanna, I stopped by this store in a bit of a panic. I was supposed to head to Cleveland for the weekend and the store in Gahanna did not program my computer correctly after installing a new tire valve earlier that morning. While driving on the highway I kept getting a flashing message that alerted me of a problem with the TPMS (i think that is what it was called). I stopped by this location where Ed got me in to take a look at it. Dan was able to fix the computer and re-program things so that I could get to Cleveland safely. I was appreciative of their kindness and help.
If i could give -5 stars i would. I moved to Cleveland and this is the closest location to me. I bought 70000 miles tires last year and have drove maybe 12000..Two of the tires have cracked. I called this location and was told to come by and they will take a look. I drove for two hours only to hear that they are not going to honor the warranty. Clayton Freeman was rude and was trying to ignore me and was implying that i dont drive my car improperly.
This is the worst place I have ever been EVER!Their customer service is HORRIBLE!! They put a big dent in my rear wheel well just rotating my tires. Oh get this their free alignment is free because they dont do it. I drove off the lot got on the road my car went straight to the left. They said it was because I was their last customer and they probably forgot. I will never ever do business there again. I have never been talked to as rude as this store talked to me. This place I would not take your car here!
We were in town for Ironman 70.3 - noticed a tek-screw in the face of the tire. Stopped into the shop and was greeted like a long lost friend. They knew I had to get back to my wife and get her bike down to transition....within and hour I was out on the road again. All of this is amazing service - friendly and a few smiles shared while waiting. When I tried to pay the bill.....I got a no thank you - tell your wife good luck at the race and welcome to Delaware. You have a great team at your shop and a heart felt thanks again passed along to you.
I had an appointment scheduled to have two tires replaced. When I called to make the appointment the gentleman that answered the phone seemed in a rush and was about to hang up the phone without even asking which tires I needed. Thankfully I stopped him and told him the tires, which of course had to be ordered in. When I arrived for my appointment I walked in and was told to have a seat because they didn’t have power and were not sure when it would be restored. I told him that I had other appointments this afternoon and couldn’t just wait around, and he told me to call them later to reschedule. I probably will not be calling to reschedule after this experience.
Typical repair shop. Trying to get every last dime out of you. When you get your car repaired. never pay the outrageous prices they charge for their parts .sometimes the markup on them is %300 and its legal. Go to Advance Auto Parts. AutoZone. Napa. Buy the parts yourself. Find a shop that will just charge you for labor and put them on for you. Of course they say they wont warranty the parts. but who cares when youre saving hundreds upon hundreds of dollars. Sat Nov 14. I call at 3:45 pm. To ask them for one tire. They tell me They are closing in 3 minutes. There web site says there open till 5pm on Saturdays. ROFL. Horrible customer service and they dont even honor the hours they post.
I have been a long time client with TD. I had a minor issue with the timing of picking up my vehicle the other day, the manager proactively addressed the issue beyond my expectations. In a service industry fraught with a lot of perceived issues, this TD is excellent.
They told me a needed a timing belt when my vechilr was equipped with a chain instead of a belt. Meaning that they just looked at the computer which stated that my car with these miles needs this. Thats what they recommended to me instead of actually inspecting my vehicle. Thought they were different than mainstream mechanics i.e Firestone, Goodyear, Midas, but they arent. Fine work but out for the most they can get from you.
Desk people are rude and I never received a call stating the vehicle was completed. When I called 5 hours later they said it had been completed a long time ago. This place needs some serious management oversight. Customer service is the key to a successful reputation!
Needed a tire fixed that was losing all of its air pressure in 1 day because it had a screw in it. Called this morning and they said they could fit us in today. Dropped off the car at noon and picked it up at 5pm. Thank you for taking care of us on such short notice!
Less than 1 star!!! Staff was rude and liars. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I had similar situation at the Wal mart Auto center....they went over and above to help me. And there were only 3 men working that day and totally over booked and still took the time to help.Tire Discounters would not give me the time of day!!!Just look at reviews. 3.7 s out of 159 reviews is horrible!!!
I made an appointment to have my car aligned. When I showed up to get it done, I was told it would be 2 hours. This is the second time this has happened. There employees didnt care and offered no solution. I will not be going back and I would not recommend anyone going to this place.
Had an appointment at 3 and came back at 4:45 and my truck is still sitting in the same spot I parked it in. They dont stick to their appointment times. They were busy, but when you have an appointment, they should stick to that time. I wont come back here anymore. NTB will be getting my business now.
If I could I would give it no stars but it wont let me so I went there today and I saw a woman walk in and I heard the man talking about her private areas and say what they would do to her and things like that in that is disgusting to hear I will never be coming to this tire discounters or any Tire Discounters for that matter and i will make sure all my friends and family never go to any of these places for tires

2022-05-05I got a flat while in Delaware (I live in Downtown Columbus) so was freaking out, as I usually depend on my husband for these things, but Ed from Tire Discounters calmed me down on the phone and told me to drive - slowly - into their parking lot. The guys were friendly, honest, fair in pricing, and the service was fast. I was back on the road with a new tire in about 30 minutes. I highly recommend this location.

2022-05-29Tire Discounters is my go to place for all things auto related. Tommy, Jimmy, Eddie and the crew are customer friendly and take time to explain things when your car has issues. I share this location with anyone who wants honesty, integrity and value. It is often difficult to find people you can trust with your vehicle, but I have trusted Tommy and Jimmy for over 10 years!

2022-07-02Horrible customer service, the workers were extremely rude. They said they couldn’t fix two flats and then wanted over $600 for two tires. When we went back, they didn’t put our air caps back on and were very condescending when we asked for them back. They also refused to put air in our tires so we could drive it home less then a block away. We then had to get a tow truck, which required a receipt or note from tire discounters saying we didn’t have a balance, or a receipt showing we didn’t owe them anything and they said they didn’t know how to do that on their register and talked to us very rudely on the phone, and finally we asked if they could put handwritten note for the tow truck driver allowing the car to be released from their parking lot, and they did so, but forgot to sign it tire discounters. We will never do business here ever again and we recommend everyone to find a company that actually cares, actually wants to help customers, and gives customers a good price for tires.

2022-04-28I limped in on the mini-spare today and they fixed me right up. Whatever I ran over ruined my day, but I had the road hazard coverage and it didn’t cost me squat for a new tire, mounting and balancing, and a checkup on the other 3. Inside an hour I was gliding down the road as happy as a clam.

2020-10-10I purchased a set of pirelli tires that were on a no labor special. They offer lifetime balancing, tire rotations, road hazard. I ordered tires online and the process was great. Could have more choices in stock but overall experience was good. I dealt with Ed at the Delaware Ohio location, and he did a fantastic job. My truck looks great with its new kicks.

2019-04-29They always do a great job (or fix the problem if they dont get it right the first time). I needed a new tire after hitting a pothole Saturday afternoon. I called but it was too late to order it then. I called this morning and they had the tire and it was installed after work. Thanks for doing another great job, guys!

2021-11-18I brought 4 tires to be mounted and balanced. My car was pulled into a bay as soon as I arrived for my appointment and the work began immediately. If you bring your own tires, mount and balance does cost a little more than some other places. The price was worth it to know that it was done right the first time and my car was well taken care of (unlike grocery store tire changes). No bs from the service writer, no hidden fees.
