Xenia Tire Choice is a great shop to get tires or any other automobile repairs with fair pricing and honest people. Michael was a pleasure to work with and he found the Michelin tires I wanted and for a great price. I would definitely recommend and will do business again.
Was greeted by Scott and asked him about installation of 4 new tires and also new serpentine drive belt. Scott presented several good options to choose from. After making my choice, I was offered to make an appoint for the next day or have the work done while I waited. One hour and 45 mins later, I was back on the road. Outstanding Service!!! Does not get better than this...Thank you Scott!
6pm on a Friday. Driving through on a road trip. Scott and Brian at this shop and John at their other location were very helpful and accommodating. Drove into first shop, he said he couldnt fit us in but called the other shop and sent us on over. They took a look and were able to diagnose the issue right away. Quickly tightened up sway bar and made sure we knew tie rod should be replaced soon. Friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. Back on the road, no clunking, drives smooth again. Thanks guys!!
Terrible service.my car has been in the shop for almost 2 weeks. they kept on switching up the times on us saying it would be done Saturday & then changed it to Monday & then changed it to Friday!they said they just found out they needed to order a part for the car after it had been in there for 7 days! we called in to ask about it the next day and they said they still hadn’t ordered the part. we just called about it yesterday, the part STILL hasn’t been ordered.on top of that, they’ve already charged us $1,000 then proceeded to charge us an additional $500 for the part! it would not have been an issue if my car hadn’t been in there for 2 weeks… they then had an attitude when we said we weren’t gonna spend $500 on that car part because of how terrible the service is.we are going to call their cooperate office, to speak to someone about this because this is just unacceptable!do not come here! it is a waste of your time & money.
Kept my car for 10 days total, after 5 days I stopped in to find out what was going on. The manager apologized then blamed the other store manager. He promised me some answers the next day, he never called. Finally I call again and the manager says I was waiting for you to call. When I picked my car up (not fixed) it had some very deep scratches in the paint that wasnt there when I left it with them. Id let a drunk family member work on my car before I would take it here. If you do take it here get pictures of your car before you leave.
So kind and pleasant on the phone when I called with a brake problem and they even reassured me they would take care of my car and help me get back on the road that same day if at all possible - they were so accommodating. And guess what - I was back to my trip within 2 hrs with minimal cost! Thank you for your wonderful service and help, Monro! Definitely check them out when you need car service and help!
The service was fast enough for an oil change but nothing else. Manager was alone in shop. Other mechanics were pulled out by supervisor to work in different locations. One customer in the lobby was waiting for his car. Manager said the parts were ready to go on but then had to cut out the old exhaust. Not an impressive showing.
I absolutely love this place. They always do great work at a good price. Their customer service skills are always on point and I never have to wait. I drive alot so I am here more often than most. Thank you Monroe for always taking great care of my car, checking everything to make sure my car is safe, and never making me wait on my walk-ins. You guys are the BEST.
Ive gotten my tires done here before, and took it in again today for some major repairs. Chuck and these guys were amazing! every hickup or issue they had with my van they contacted me immediately to let me know what options i had for the fix. for how many major issues and fixes i needed to have done im very pleased with the time frame they got everything done in! They worked with me on pricing after providing them with my budget. I love this place! keep up the great work!
I went originally for my breaks because I had a rattling sound. When I went they said it’d be a few hours and I’d get a call. I dropped off at 11 a.m and never got a call so I called right before they closed and the one who answered said “uh, I didn’t really see anyone looking at it but I’ll check and call back.” I get a call back saying it’s my transmission and have to take it to my dealership. I take it to my dealership and turns out it did have to do with my breaks. No transmission issue at all. Rattling is completely gone. So I’m wondering if it was even looked at all here in the first place...? Won’t be going back.
Chuck and Harry were so good to us! After having a horrible day at another body shop, they came to the rescue! They even worked with my warrant company! This was not my first time here. Each time we are here, its a great experience. I will definitely be returning for any future needs. :)
These guys were very nice but they could not get our van AC working. They tried two times to fix it and it cost me over $1,100 but it still wasnt fixed. Took it back to them a 3rd time and they wanted another $900+ to try again to solve the problem. Again, nice enough guys but they shouldnt want to keep charging for a problem that they could not fix the first time.
People there very nice and trustworthy, manager and master mechanic very knowledgeable will work with you if its too expensive they will figure out a price that you can afford not trying to get over on anyone Took my Lexus in there and new how to work on it and did a great job definitely will be back there when i need a mechanic. I have been a customer of theirs a few times with no problems, nice service, done quickly. Then I had a problem with my gas cap. I went there just to find out if they could take a look at it and just tell me if I needed to come back at a different time to fix it. The man at the desk told me it would be $60 to walk out in the parking lot to look at it. He said I couldnt expect the mechanics to do work without getting paid. Seriously!? I will not ever go back there again.Today the new manager of Monroes called me and offered me a very sincere appology and said that he hopes I will give them another chance. Since he was so sorry about what happened I will at least give them one more try. Only because they are under new management.
Really great experience here - I had a slow leak in a tire and wanted to stop quickly to have it filled. They took my car in as soon as I got there and had it plugged within 25 minutes for $19. They were really polite and friendly which is not usually my experience at auto shops.
I went there today to get my tire pumped up and I met a nice, polite, understanding, and helpful man named Chuck. He was so helpful he pumped my tire up for free. I told him what was going on with the tire and he said to come back again tomorrow and he will check to see why our tire keeps lossing air every few days. I would recommend that if anyone is having trouble with there car that they should go check them out.
Saviors of XeniaI was traveling from Richmond VA to Indianapolis and my old vehicle stared giving me trouble. Luckily I was just passing Xenia and took a exit and drive to Monro auto. After I explained them on what’s going on with my SUV, they quickly guess it’s related to electrical system issue and identified one of the battery terminals are loosely coupled. They didn’t had that part to fix my issue. But they went ahead and did a temporary fix and it helps me to reach Indianapolis safely. Also they helped me to back up my SUV since it was attached with a trailer. (I’m not good with reversing when a trailer is attached to my vehicle) When I offered to pay him he said ‘You don’t owe me anything’. Humanity is still alive. Thanks for helping me and my family on that day. THANK YOU 🙏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I went there to have my brakes looked at. They told me one of my calibers were sticking on one side and that they couldn’t replace just the one, telling me they can only buy them in pairs. Called auto zone and was told they are sold individually. They wanted $1000 to replace both calibers, brake pads and rotors. I took my car to my usual mechanic and the calibers were fine and I just needed new rotors because they were worn unevenly due to high speed braking which only costs me $350.
Every time I bring my vehicles in to this shop they have always been up front and honest with me and they have always done me right. I bring my vehicles in for routine check ups and oil changes and they have always been great on the prices and repairs. Thank you so much its greatly appriciated.
I came in to Monro because the service center where I bought my car was claiming there was nothing wrong with it although oil was missing from my engine month after month. Within minutes they were able to identify 4 areas where the oil was either leaking or burning. They even brought me out to the car and showed me all the points where there was oil where it shouldnt have been. Rick, Jay and Logan were extremely nice and helpful. They got nothing out of helping me since they could not even preform the repairs my car needed. What they did gain was a customer for life though! It is very obvious this is honest shop that knows what they are doing.
Chris was fantastic, as was his mechanic that worked on my vehicle. I had taken my car – 2002 Lexus RX 300 to a couple of different places with exhaust issues, and I was told by them they could not fix the hole in my exhaust I would have to replace the entire system for 1000+ dollars. And I went to Tuffy on North Detroit in Xenia, the guy told me they were too busy to see me and to come by the next day, I showed up the next day ,and they had closed their shop up at least an hour if not two hours earlier. At the last minute I called Monro in Xenia they told me to come right in - put my car up at about 645 and even though they closed at seven they finish the work right then and there around 730. Very impressed - Only charge me $50 for a welding job instead of $1000 everybody else was trying to hit me up for.
Baseline: Poor work and dishonest workersGood price for an oil change but that means nothing if they do it wrong. The workers either crossthreaded or over-tightened my drain plug which ultimately stripped the threading on the screw. This broke the seal and oil had been slowly leaking, which could have caused major damage if I hadnt found it soon enough. My plug had to be enlarged and re-threaded to correct for this which is simply unacceptable for a simple oil change.Additionally, I was told I had some other major issues, which they attempted to scam me into fixing. I had the supposed issues checked by my regular, honest mechanic and nothing was wrong.
I will never do business here again and will tell all my friends and family about my experience. I have been paying for a catalytic converter and O2 sensor since February on their drive card which gives me 6 months no interest. Now 7 months in and (2) catalytic converters later along with (3)O2 sensors the issue still isnt fixed. I was told to go somewhere else to see why the check engine light is still on. I did and its the catalytic converter, again! They told me I would be reimbursed for the diagnostic from the dealership the recommended me going to and credit the card for the expenses. None of the things they promised has happened... I have not gotten my reimbursements (2 diagnostic fees), not credited for the repairs never completed that I paid for 6 months, and now interest has accrued on the card and, of course, that hasnt been taken care of either.The managers just pass the buck and have no authority to do anything and refer me to corporate customer service. The managers do not communicate well nor call back as they say. So I am going above and beyond my responsibility of being a customer and calling customer service which after 3 calls, have not called me back. I did speak to one rep that said she would call back but never did. The other 2 calls were messages I left. Its a simple reasonable request.....credit my card $1922.15 (for the repairs never fixed along with interest accrued) and the reimbursement check for the 2 diagnostic fees they told me to go get and they would reimburse ($262). This will allow me to go get the catalytic converter fixed before more damage can happen.I would say dont go here for anything but a simple oil change but if you read the other reviews, they screw that up too! If I get a resolution to this on going problem, I will post the resolution. Please avoid this place and go to more professional, knowledgeable establishments.9/13/18 UPDATE: Customer service replied, as you can see below. I called Theresa as requested at my earliest convenience on the same day. No answer. Left message and have not heard back.9/18/18 UPDATE: Still no return call from customer service! I called the # below for customer service and left another message with Theresa. Then I called another # for customer service and Theresa answered and when I said I just left you a message we got disconnected. I called back and spoke with Christina and she wanted me to send the paperwork to her that I have already submitted to the Xenia store as they requested for reimbursement. So I now emailed the same paperwork to Christina. I will keep you updated as the saga continues. Also, they know the credit card statement due date is 9/24/18.9/24/18 UPDATE: As expected, I never heard anything from back from Christina at customer service. They knew this needed to be resolved by 9/24/18 because of another credit card payment due but no call, no concern. I went ahead a made a minimum payment of $70 on the card so it doesnt effect my credit. So I called customer service again and spoke with Alex. He put me on hold and told me Christina would call me to discuss once she gets off another line. Now (9/26/18) she must still be on the other line because no one has called me to get this resolved. It is obvious to me that this isnt just a Xenia, Ohio store issue or the that the staff in Xenia is poorly trained, in my opinion is must be corporate wide. Once you are responsible to spend all your time trying to get an issue resolved with no cooperation, this is in intentional effort to ignore the customer. I have now acquired legal council to get the issue resolved.
This store has very reasonable prices and great customer service. If ever you are experiencing any issues with your vehicle, like I was, they will diagnose and fix it to get your vehicle up and running as quickly as they can. I recommend checking them out next time you are in need of service.
Charged me $80 to check my power steering only to tell me that I had a leak and that I should replace the hoses and rack and pinion. I asked how much would that be he said it usually runs a couple hundred dollars then gave me a quote of around almost $2000. Then when I asked to take my car down he told me how I could replace the hoses with replacing the rack and pinion and that was still another $500+. I asked which would be better he says there is a high chance that it would work and a low chance that it won’t. Then when I asked him to repeat it he said there was a 50/50 chance. I was in tears in that shop. I hate when I go to shops and they don’t act like they care they just want your money. Then they always try to get over on women. Just because I’m a women does not mean that I’m rich😭. To make matters worse I went to the auto parts store and got a price for the parts I need for my car and it’s like the prices that I was given by this mechanic tripled the prices at the parts store. This is shameful. Where the The honest and caring mechanics.
Should have been a simple repair. Then charged me $200 more than originally quoted. Then my car wouldnt idle correctly when I drove home. Went back to have them repair it and they didnt apologize about sending me home with an incomplete repair. They fixed it and when I checked the repair when I got home I found some kind of clip just sitting on my engine. I dont trust them with my car.
My wife took her vehicle in on Monday to get an oil change. The manual for the vehicle says to use a synthetic blend (semi-synthetic) motor oil. They told her that they refuse to touch her car if they do not use full synthetic, $40.00 more than it would be with the semi! I called and spoke with the manager and he told me that GM changed those recommendations and you were to use full synthetic. I contacted GM directly and they told me that you are supposed to use the fluids listed in the owners manual. So I guess either they do not have their facts straight or someone is not telling the truth! Any way we will never use their services again!
Took my car in for a routine oil change and they told me I needed new brakes ($600) immediately. I chose to not listen because I hadn’t noticed anything out of the ordinary. When I got back home to get my car inspected 5 months later, there were no problems with my brakes at all. I guess they saw my out of state plates and decided to take advantage of a young girl. Can you say deceitful? Needless to say, they won’t be getting any more of my business.
Worst customer service and they ripped me off. I paid $70 to have a headlight replaced and it wasnt working so I took it back cause they said they would fix it. I was told it was not the bulb and that it would cost $60 Just for them to look at it. I went to pick up my car and told the guy I just paid a lot of money and my headlight still doesnt work and that I should get little bit of a refund. He rolled his eyes at me and said they did the work and that Im not getting anything refunded. He was such a jerk! I will never go back there.
Horrible place. Will never go back. Went for an oil change and they refused saying I had no oil in car and they wouldnt add oil so I could drive away. Had to call district mgr who sent mgr from Wilmington. They agreed to add oil to my vehicle. It only took slightly over 2 qts. So I obviously had oil in the vehicle.
I visited this location to have a muffler pipe welded and when I walked in both employees were on cell phones, I asked for them to take a look and without even looking at it the guy at the counter said they cant fix it. Last time I checked this is a muffler shop.This is not my first issue with this location, and after the experience I had today I will not be back.CUSTOMER BEWARE!!
These guys use scare tactics to pressure customers into purchasing items for their car. Told me I was going to go to jail if I didnt spend the $70 to fix my car I could go to jail. These guys are so misinformed or uneducated its unbelievable. I hope this was just a desperate attempt for a sale on a slow day, but I doubt it.
Great group of guys.. This store one of the cleanest shop I have seen.. Being a woman I wasnt treated different and you do get that feeling in most auto shop and was never treated that way by any of their guys! Worst customer service ever! My parents have used this repair shop for years out of habit, even through the change of ownership. Their knowledge is minimal at best. They spend more time trying to convince you of something else being wrong with the vehicle than they do actually fixing the problem that the vehicle was originally brought in for.
Unethical and lied to me! I brought my car in for a routine oil change and was told I needed new brake pads and rotors. After their suggestion, I had another trusted place put new brake pads on the rear wheels. The next time I went back for a routine oil change they said I needed brake pads and rotors on all four wheels again. Hmm, I thought that was weird since I just had 2 out of the 4 replaced, so I called my mechanic and he said to refuse the service, which I did. My mechanic then looked at my car and said that I had another 30,000 miles of wear on my front break pads, but Monro said they were in the red and needed replaced immediately. Im very displeased that Monro was trying to make money off me. I had been getting my oil change there for at least 7 years, its time to go somewhere else!
Nice knowledgeable staff. Last oil change they found a problem with a gasket and something else the dealer had missed a month earlier . I took it back to the dealer and they were correct .Thank you Monro for finding the problem . Definetly recommend this hometown shop.

2022-06-13I am very disappointed with the service I received from this location. I brought my car in for a loud knocking/ rubbing sound from the rear passenger side. After 2-3 days I was told that it was caused by the ball joints. I agreed to the repair which cost almost $400. A few days later I picked up my vehicle. I did not even make it down the street before I heard that same sound. I took the vehicle back immediately and insisted it be fixed. Several days later I pick up the vehicle and am asked to pay an additional $300 because “they had to fix the ball joint on the drivers side a well”. After all of this time and money the issue was never resolved. That was several months ago. I have not been able to drive the vehicle since.

2022-04-26They are very shady, the first experience they took forever to fix the car and left it smelling like cigarettes. The second time was when I purchased a vehicle and wanted someone to look at it, they tried to say the oil needed to be changed and were pretty insistent on charging me right then. However, I went for a second opinion said that there was absolutely no issue with the oil.

2021-09-07I called Tire Choice Auto Service Center in Xenia last Friday needing a brake job ASAP, as they were overdue and I commute an hour to work daily. They took me in immediately, at a fair price, and had my car back to me the next day, less than 24 hours later. Everyone I spoke with gave me clear updates every time I asked and presented great, kind, and professional customer service the entire process. I will return here for more work I may need in the future.
