Tire Choice Auto Service Centers in other cities:
Sorry for the delay in posting this review... I travelled to Columbus from New Jersey for a long weekend back in August as my daughter attends The Ohio State University. Over the weekend I developed a leak in one of those run-flat tires. On Saturday, went to one of the national tire centers in the area who charged me around $30 and couldnt find the leak. They remounted the tire and said I should be good. Sunday morning, flat again! Went back to national dealer and concluded I should get another tire but the tire wouldnt be in until Monday afternoon. I was hoping to head back to New Jersey Monday morning. Stopped by Monroe on my way back to the hotel. They found the leak in two minutes! However, it was very close to the sidewall and a new tire would be needed. The owner, whos name escapes me as I write this, said the tire would be delivered Monday afternoon. I explained to him that I was really hoping to leave on my 8 hour trip back to NJ by noontime. He said that instead of waiting for the tire to be delivered to shop, he would have someone go and pick it up and the tire would be in by 10:00 AM. I was on the road heading back to New Jersey by 11:00. Now thats client service! Thank You!!!
I have been with this place for a while, mainly because the place is very convenient (near library, walking distance to my house). However, I have lost my trust with them. They installed a new regulator for my driver window about a year ago; it did not last long, and when I came back to ask them to check, they told me to have a new one replaced with a cost of $600...This is only one of many other costly replacements.
Overall I was not thrilled with the service I received. I went to Tire Choice when I had a flat tire after just getting off of work because they were the closest place I could reach. They were kind enough to work me in on a busy Saturday, which I was incredibly grateful for. I asked the customer service representative at the front desk to give a rough quote for how much it would cost to replace the tire, should they not be able to patch it. She quoted me $40 (something) for a tire with lower mileage and $78 for another with higher mileage with a $30 installation fee. I was happy with those numbers and planned to spend around $108-120 (with tax), however when I was called and given a quote for the replacement by the technician the fee went up to $147.21, which I was confused about and proceeded to ask the customer service rep why there was such a significant increase, to which she responded that she didnt give the exact quote for that specific tire. Once the CSR was ready to cash me out, she gave a final number of $157.21, to which I refuted, given that I had just spoken with the technician 10 minutes prior who had just told me $147.21. I found the constant change and increase in pricing to be incredibly shady and wish I wouldve been told a realistic estimate ahead of time, so that I couldve made a more informed decision while other places were still open and I wouldve been able to have a choice. I think it is remarkably unprofessional to misquote and proceed to increase prices, just to make a quick buck on someone who was desperate at the time. Also was told at the beginning that as a courtesy that they would rotate the tires and fill the older ones, but that was clearly not done. Based on my experience, I certainly wont willingly return nor will I recommend them to anyone else.
Very expensive for a basic oil change, even with the coupon. They marked my filters, brakes, and drums as needing replacement. Was suspicious of that, so took it to Franks for a second opinion. Found out there was nothing wrong with any of them. I dont appreciate someone trying to scam me like this. Will never consider this franchise again if this is how they think its okay to do things!
Quoted $39 for an oil change over the phone, and it cost $79 when all said and done. Quoted us a $1050 break job which I got the next day at Grismer for $379. Unfortunately honest Tony retired. If they’d focus on professional service without the chicanery they’d get customers for life.
I blew out my tire on Lane Avenue. I limped into Tire Choice on a completely flat tire with two young kids in tow. Ashlin was very kind and professional. She was able to give me a quote on a brand new tire in no time. She was sweet with my children and made them at home in the waiting area. .I spoke with my husband and I changed my mind. (After the car was pulled into the service bay) Instead of buying a new tire I decided to go with putting on the donut. Lenny was able to fish out my spare (in a very inconvenient spot in the middle of my Honda Odyssey I would not have been able to do had I been stranded on the side of the road! He did it with no problem and put everything back neatly.) I was so grateful that they were able to change course. Getting the donut out of the car was probably the hardest part. The spare was on my car and the car was drivable within 10 minutes.I had a pint of Graeters ice cream in the consul that I had just bought and was on my way home with when my tire blew and that didn’t melt they did it so fast.Highly recommend. Will definitely go back. Great service and great employees!
Tony and his team are excellent! Ive been going to them for about 10 years. They do great work and theyve got great customer service. My most recent repair was for a brake issue that a different company supposedly repaired but had misdiagnosed. I brought my car to this Monro after the other place looked at it twice and sent me away with them still broken. Tonys team diagnosed me correctly in just a few minutes. Im grateful to have a mechanic I know I can trust to keep me safe in my vehicle. Thank you guys again, youre the best!
After dropping off my car for a noon appointment at the Tire Choice Auto Service location at 2845 Tremont Rd, Columbus, OH 43221, I came back 90 minute later to the shock that not only have they not fixed anything, they hadnt even started working on it as my car was in the same parking spot as when I left if there…I essentially had to sit in the waiting room, keeping presence, until they would actually start working on it. Less than 30 min later, I was given an estimate nearing $1,500 for a radiator and an A/C compressor issues. The A/C compressor had just been replaced in the last 2 years completely new, so I knew that had to have been incorrect.I elected a second opinion. So the same day, I stopped at another Tire Choice Auto Service location at 3085 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43202. Howard Gabbert, who works there immediately started looking over the car and noted the issue was not the compressor but the A/C blower motor was making the noise, as he walked through how and why, with increasing the fan speed would make more noise, and how it was completely illogical that the compressor would be an issue as he noted the A/C is ice cold....Not only that, Howard shaved off $75 from the radiator fix AND completed it the same day from 5-6:16pm...so in short, visiting the location at 3085 Olentangy River Rd NOT 2845 Tremont Rd, saved me close to $1,000 in completely unnecessary repairs.I thank Howard Gabbert and the team at the 3085 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43202 Tire Choice Auto Service for a VERY quick high quality turn around, and to actually watch out for the customers benefit!!
I called before scheduling my appointment to ask the price for a full synthetic oil change. The lady said $50 plus tax + fees. I had my oil changed the same day and it cost $80.99! When I asked about the price when checking out she said acted like she didnt lie to me on the phone earlier about the price. I called the manager right away and he agreed to adjust the price. I would not recommend going here because I do not trust them.
I went late in the day on a cold December afternoon during the pandemic just before close to see if my tire could be plugged. The place was busy with customers coming to pick up their cars and i couldnt believe how friendly and wonderful the employees were and fairly priced. Very lucky to have this place in UA and amazing staff. Thank you for all you do!
Charles is great. On a tight timeline, Charles dropped me off at home in order to check the brakes on my wifes car-which needed done. We paid about 1/3rd of what Honda quoted us for the same exact job (our 2nd Honda Tony and the team at Monro have done brake jobs on). Great local business with an interest to provide great service and a great value. Highly recommended.
My experience with Monroe Muffler Brake & Service on Tremont Road has always been superior! I have always received excellent service and quality parts at a reasonable price. For many years, I have taken all of my familys vehicles to this location for under the hood repairs, tire repairs and replacements, and oil changes. Among everything they do so well, the thing that stands out the most in my experience is their honesty in dealing with me and keeping our vehicles running in great shape. Thanks again to Tony and the crew! Our community would not the best same without you guys!
Excellent service here! My boyfriend went in and got service done on his van they were quick to find out what was going on with his brakes. They told him one thing might be wrong with the brakes and they recommend replacing it. But they said he could try and make sure the seal hasn’t been broken on it and if so it’d be cheaper. In the end they were able to take care of him at the cheaper price and they were unbelievably fast service full of smiles and knowledge to help us understand our car. I liked how the young man had 3 different options available for my boyfriend, and explained each one clearly, and gave us his recommendations
I had an oil change , rotation of tires, air conditioning service. I check 3 other places and the price quote was lowerwhich cluded the high quality oil only exception was the air conditioning service . They matched a cheaper quote from an another service place. I had two filters I had bought and never got around to installing them .They installed both for 20 bucks. Tim the service manager was super friendly and professional. I live very close and he gave me a ride home because of the weather when I dropped the car off. I been going there off and on for about 15 years and they are trust worthy and do good work.
My husband and I have been customers for almost 5 years. Today we had the worst experience with oil change. We made reservation for two cars on Saturday by phone and the manager gave us an appointment on Sunday. The young lady ( her name on the receipt is Ashlin Milligan) working on Sunday refused to take two cars as they have only one car reserved on the system and they have only one technician working on Sunday. My husband asked to do tire rotation and she agreed to do that. We waited to be called for the service is done which never happened and we have to go to the store 15 minutes before the store get closed. She didnt call to let us know service is done and car is ready for pick up as they used to do and as I saw her calling other customer. When we arrived we found that she didnt do the tire rotation as agreed and her excuse that they dont do that on Sundays although there is a flyer in the store that they do that free for every customer. I would expect if on Sundays the service would be like that why not just shut the store down and save the customer time and give better service? So the end result doing one car instead of two cars and the service for one car was incomplete with unprofessional behaviour of the manager.
I came in when my car would not start, and I needed a jump just to get it to the auto shop. Brandon was the person on duty, and he was very helpful, patient, and professional. He went to my car immediately for an assessment, he worked hard to get me a great price for the service, and he got the job done by the end of the day (in spite of being busy already). I would highly recommend using their services.
Had my car serviced there yesterday. Outstanding customer service. My car was taken care of in a prompt manner with a wheel alignment, tire balancing and oil change. There was no upsetting, just straight forward information. This location has earned my business and it is highly recommended.
A great place to go for tires or Tire repairs. I have nothing but good things to say about this location. The prices on other car repairs seems to be very reasonable also.I got a set of 4 tires for a very good price, and also a very low price for a lifetime protection plan for the tires. I definitely recommend if you need tires, or repairs done.
Needed air in my tires, so I went in and asked the young man up front if someone could help me. He said if you meet me down at the edge of the building I’ll be out there soon. Couple minutes later he came out and put air in my tires. He informed me on the condition of my tires, and how I need to replace them. I don’t have money for tires right now however he told me to come up front to get a quote. He wasn’t pushy at all. I feel he was well educated on the tires, he gave me three different options and gave me the pros and cons. I will definitely return for tires soon! Thanks for your excellent customer service!!
This is the second time I have been to this particular location and everyone was very accommodating. Ashlands customer service was excellent and she was great by telling me about their coupons. In addition, I had called for quotes for a routine oil change and tire rotation. This was by far the best deal. I would recommend this location :)
Stopped here because my brakes were getting noisy, and they do a no charge inspection which is nice. However, they quoted me over $3000 total to fix the brakes (pads, rotors, calipers for all 4), get 4 new tires, and to replace the radiator which they said was leaking. Luckily I did not commit, and I took my car out of town to be checked by a more trustworthy shop. My hometown shop fixed the brakes and put on 4 new tires for $1200 total; and they checked the radiator & cooling system and did not find any leaks!I would get a second opinion before spending a serious amount of money at this Monro.
First time here. Muffler was torn to shreds and needed replacement. Charles was able to squeeze me in before my shift at work and did everything he could to get me the best price possible. Looking back into the shop, I can see David taking care with his work. I’ll definitely be checking here first whenever an issue comes up, if anything just for the customer service alone. Thanks!
I called today to ask question about my car. Spoke with Charles, he took the time to help me understand how shocks and struts could effect my tires, and the way they have gotten worn out. He also explained that there could be something besides just the shocks and struts causing my issues, and offered me a free inspection. I feel that this shop has a good understanding of cars and with the way management was willing to spend time over the phone, I can only imagine what they would do for customers that are right in front of them. Thank you Charles for your help, I will for sure be coming in to see you soon.
Had a flat beyond repair. The manager Tony was very curtious and helpful. He was able to find a tire to match my other 3(that were pretty new) and send someone right out to pick it up. He worked with me on the price and even pulled my car in and put the tire on. The teams effort got me back on the road and back to work promptly. Thanks
I wish I would have read some of these reviews prior to going to Monro. Ive been there about 3 times now. Each time for a routine oil change. Its been anything but routine. I dont think Ive been there without them recommending a host of maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. I have a 5 year old Camry, with average mileage for its age. The first time, they suggested I replace the air filters. Fairly typical. The next time they suggested I replace the tires. Even though I replaced all four tires less than 2 years ago, less than 25K miles ago. Finally, they suggested I replace the water pump. It gets tiresome going in there expecting to pay $30 for an oil change and coming out with hundreds of dollars in suggested maintenance.
I cant say enough positive about the guys at this shop. They always do quality work, and never suggest anything that doesnt need done. Theres been a couple times I thought something needed to be replaced, and they assured me that it did not. They always point it out, so I can see exactly what they are talking about. They are always very friendly. They have a couple guys that can do much more than a normal tire and brake shop. Which makes it nice not having to worry about where to take my cars.
Poor customer service and high prices. I dropped my car off to get the brakes inspected. They did fix my brakes, but when I compared prices they were over $300 more than other companies. Additionally, they told me my vehicle would be ready to pick up before the store closed. I did not get a call from the store and when I tried calling, no one answered. I had to leave the vehicle at the shop overnight. The next morning, when I called they told me it was done and someone had called and left a voicemail (they did not). They also said they stayed 30 mins past closing waiting to see if I would call. I called three times during this period and no one answered. I will not be taking any vehicles here again.
Quick and friendly service. I stopped in with no appointment in the morning with a flat, the tire I needed was not standard but they were able to get that tire in the same evening and gave me a call to let me know it was in and they could have it fixed that day still.
I went here for an oil change because they had a $14.99 sale. When I got there and gave them all my info, they recommend the high milage oil which was also on sale for $28.99 which I agreed to since I drive an old truck. I sat and talked to the front desk person while I waited who was very friendly but when my truck was done they told me my bill was $82. They said it was because my truck needed 9 quarts of oil rather than the 5 quarts thats covered on the sale. When I went in I gave them every detail about the truck, they should have known how much oil it would have taken. And told me the correct price up front. Paying for 80% more oil shouldnt cost 280% more. After telling them I was upset I got my bill down to $68 which I was still not happy with, but I paid anyways. To make things worse, while I was waiting for them to pull my truck around they did the same thing to the man behind me. His vehicle required a full synthetic oil change so they went ahead and did it without notifying him. He was expecting a $15 bill and got handed an $86 bill. Either the staff is not knowledgeable enough to give proper estimates or they have mastered the bait and switch. Either way, I will not be going back.
My children are away at school and when they came home over the break I send them to Monroe on Tremont. The manager, Tony, tells them how to take care of their cars in terms they understand. I am reassured that their cars are in proper working order and safe. This worth a lot to me. I would highly recommend Monroe on Tremont for any automotive concerns... They are much more than just tires and oil changes. Great Service.
WATCH YOUR WALLETThis is probably the biggest screw job I have ever had. I had to take my dog to O.S.U. Veterinary Hospital from Cleveland to have a procedure done. When I got there my brakes began to grind. My thought at the time was to take my car to a place that Id heard of. Not only were they very slow getting to my car, since they felt they had me around a barrel, so to speak, they told me I needed front and rear brakes and it would cost $2200. I knew that was high and called my mechanic in Twinsburg who I had been doing business with for years. He told me that for the work they were quoting would cost at the most $600. Anyway, I told them their price was insane and that Id be taking my car elsewhere. Since I really was in a desperate situation however, they said theyd do the front brakes for $750, which was more than double what my mechanic wouldve charged me.When I got back to Twinsburg, Ohio my mechanic did the rear brakes for $260. The rotors, that Monro Muffler said were shot had plenty of resurface room. How this company manages to remain in business is beyond me.
We picked up a nail in our tire while traveling to my sons Ohio State graduation. We tried 2 other places, but they said they couldnt help us. Ashlin and the crew at Monro took us right in, end of day, and fixed the flat in less than 1 hour. Fast, professional service; we so appreciated it!
I had power steering problems with my older 2005 SUV and they were able to get it diagnosed and fixed the same day. Tony (the manager) explained the problem and what caused it and was very professional.Great shop and i didnt realize that they can do much more than muffler work. Thanks againWayne Reeves
Got an oil change, only took about 25 minutes and I was in and out. They also brought up a few things about my car that may need some work, which I appreciated as I know it needs some things repaired. They weren’t pushy about the repairs after I said I would just stick with the oil change.Overall, a good experience!
These guys really know their stuff, very capable and experienced technicians. Manager is very professional and personal a true ambassador to the business. Thank you for having this team of men to service the high demand of Auto Care needed in this upper Arlington neighborhood
The staff here were great and the service I received was excellent! When my battery died on me, they came out to my car to give me a jumpstart and were able to check and replace my battery within minutes. They even made sure that the battery hadnt died due to some other reason. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
I dont normally give reviews, but I just wanted to thank Tony and the others at Monro Muffler in the Tremont center. My wife took her car there and took care of the problem quickly and fair. We have taken many cars there in the past and have not had any problems. Thank you, Tony.
Really shocked at these bad reviews. Most of them seem to basically be I cant believe how much it costs to fix my car! Ive found their prices to be in line with what other repair shops charge (I actually just compared estimates with a so-called discount repair shop), and most importantly, Ive always thought their work was thorough and well-done. Ive been coming here for years, and after moving across town, decided to try someplace closer to me. WHAT A MISTAKE! After a terrible experience at Bexley CarStar, I brought my vehicle to Monro in UA. Monro not only correctly diagnosed the problem CarStar missed, Monro found the cheaper-to-fix, root cause immediately that CarStar couldnt diagnose after bringing it in THREE TIMES. When they saw I was worried about the expense, having just sunk money into another repair shop that didnt even fix the problem, they went out of their way to find me discounts and financing options. I ended up having Monro fix the other shops mistakes, and my brakes have worked like new for months with no problems. Believe me when I say you cannot put a price on quality work for your car, but I feel like I recently did that and the UA Monro is not only priced the same as other shops, but they know what theyre doing. Tony and the rest of the team here know their stuff and Ill happily drive from Bexley for their experience and expertise. Ill never go anywhere else again. Thank you!
We pulled in to a restaurant across from monro just as a tire light came on. Our car is AWD and flat tires are very costly as the whole set needs to be replaced. Anyway, they had the car up and back out within the hour. Low tire pressure, no charge. Honesty deserves at least one positive review.
The staff was exceptional and very through based on my recent experience. The coupon that I presented did not apply to my make and model but management was able to offer a discount and work with my on price. Although I spent more $$ then anticipated they completed the job in an hour. Ill be back for sure!
Overall it was a good visit. I knocked off a star because I wanted a synthetic blend oil change and ended up with conventional which is a downgrade because this was a free visit due to a screw up at another Monro location. So I went from synthetic blend to conventional. Im tired of specifying I want synthetic and getting conventional instead everywhere I go. Otherwise the team there was very thorough and went over everything my car needs. I will not return to another Monro now because of all the mistakes made.
Service at this shop is so far above all the other shops in the area. The staff and management is very kind and honest and efficient. Even after moving 30 minutes away, I still come to this shop because I know both me and my vehicle will be receive great and professional treatment. Can’t recommend this Monroe enough, they truly understand the importance of great customer service.
Went in for a general inspection on my car. I came to find out what was wrong so I can slowly fix it. Charles was kind enough to get me in right away. He wasn’t pushy on trying to get me to fix my car today he understood I don’t have the money now, however he labeled things in the order of what I needed to get done first. I’m thankful that he was here and did try to take advantage of me being a young female like other shops do. I will be returning.
I took my car here to get my rear brakes replaced. After rattling off a few problems they told me it would cost about 470 dollars to fix it. More than I planned to have done but was in a pinch and needed it back on the road asap. When I picked my car up they had done over 1200 dollars of work without telling me and expected me to pay it. They gave me a couple discounts that brought it down to just over 1000 and told me all thats left to do is put old parts back on the car. Long story short I spent about 1/3rd of what the car is worth on just rear brakes. At the very least GET YOUR QUOTE IN WRITING before getting anything done and by someone else.
After reading reviews of this shop I wasnt too sure if I should trust these guys here. However as I sat there in the waiting area, and heard the manager Charles on the phone with a customer, he was full of information and spent a great time explaining and answering questions. when he got my inspection sheet, he wrote up the estimate and explained everything to me. He looked at me and could tell I was conflicted and confused. he then proceeded to ask if I understood any of it, which I did not. Charles pulled up a video thing on his computer and showed me the parts and services needed on my car. I told him I appreciated it but I didnt think that the car needed this work, because i just bought the car from a dealer and his mechanic had to have looked at it before they sold it. Charles offered to take me out to the car and show me everything, i took him up on the offer. I quickly found out that Charles and his team didnt try to take advantage of me, or anyone with the bad reviews. I feel that people have a miss understanding, of what is going on. Not always is what they suggest needed, I learned that after Charles laid out the services in order of importance and safety, he also explained how some parts you have to remove to put new ones on and that its better to replace those parts at same time so you start fresh. I learned a lot today about my car and learned a lot about how mechanic shops should be with there customers based off of the actions displayed at this Monro today. I urge everyone to ask to be shown whats wrong if you are slightly confused or worried, because i learned a lot from my car today. I will definitely be returning, for the repairs.
I went in for a routine oil change and Charles came back to tell me I needed $4500-$5000 of work done immediately. After a minor heart attack I took my car Perrysburg Collision and Auto Repair and was told that I didn’t need ANY of those things. Definitely not going back to Monro.
The first time I had oil change in this store, they charged me around 40$ for an oil change and the oil filter, with their advertised second quality level oil. A few days later, I found the oil is leaking from the oil screw. A mechanic told me I need go back to the Monro to fix it up. Over there, they sealed it up and charged me nothing. Later I saw oil leakage continued. Another mechanic found that the oil tank seal is rusty and replaced it. This solved the leaking issue. So in the end, it was my cars issue and Monroe at Tremont did quality work wirh good will.
I had already heard bad things about this place, but I decided to take the risk and valuate neighboorhood services. I took my old Volvo to fix because of a warning in the panel to check engine. They charged me more than $300 to replace a part and less than one week later the light was again on in the panel. In a second visit, they told me to take the car to a dealer, for a computer reboot or something. As I compained about the incomplete service, I had to hear that I choose the wrong car if thought it was expensive. Wait, what???I could pay $1000, $2000, whatever in a good fixing. The problem is to charge people for service they CANT RESOLVE.To the attending (whoever you are), I could have told you this personally, but I guess this must be public. The problem is NOT the money, is your lack of ability to do your work.I am one more unsatisfied customer.
Charles Hester from Monro helped my Mercedes C350 same day and was very helpful. Will take all 4 cars to Monro for future car work. 2845 Tremont road next to Chef-O-Nette! Amazing service and they have a Warranty to ensure your car drives well. Thank you for being clutch when I needed help with my car!
Tony and his team are the best, and whenever I need something done either fast or long term, theyre always there to help and exceed customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend them to anyone who need expert opinion and to make sure their car is safe enough to drive.
These guys are incompetent and dishonest. They charged me over $70 to fill my manual transmission with oil (generally a ~$30 job) and then told me I needed new brake pads, rotors, calipers, struts, and a control arm. I took it into my go-to shop (aarrow radiator) and they told me everything was fine except for the control arm. These guys are crooks.P.S. Aarrow radiator is a little rough around the edges but the proprietors, Dean and Dave (brothers) are honest and capable. Great prices, too.
I was having issues with my breaks squeaking and decided to call around for quotes. Being a lady I had no idea what I needed. I spoke to Charles on the phone . He was able to put my mind at ease and gave me a quote. Being a woman I worry about having car work done. I feel like I can go here to have the work done that I need.
I hate getting work done on my truck. I know nothing about how they work and always feel I am getting taken advantage of. I usually go where ever I have a coupon. That all ended when I went to Monroe in Upper Arlington. It’s the first place I didn’t feel like they were just trying to make money. I will take all my vehicles there from now on.
Got a screw in my tire. They said my tires were too old and that it was to close to the edge to do anything. By the end of it I had a quote of $300. Drove down the street two minutes to Firestone and they fixed it in 5 mins for $20. Said they had no idea what they were talking about so I’d be careful when they give you a quote.
I called about getting a tire alignment, set up an appointment and was told it would be 80 dollars. I later found a coupon online for 20 dollars off.I go in and told them I had a coupon too and was told they would take care of everything after it was done. They did it in the time frame they said and I go to pay, and he said it would be 80 dollars. I told them I had a 20 dollar off coupon and he says oh, we already gave you a coupon. When I talked on the phone I was just told that the alignment was 80, not that I was getting a special or a coupon was being applied (he also already knew I had a coupon because I told him). I told the person working there and they just stared at me like an invalid and didnt say anything or try to resolve it.When your customer has a problem, try to do something besides give them a dead, lifeless stare.
I wasn’t very happy with my experience. First the front desk attendant wasn’t wearing a mask even though it’s the law. My car sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes even though they had no other appointments and I had to ask why it was sitting there for so long. The charges were not explained (I went for an oil change and a tire patch) and the front desk attendant was not the least bit friendly.
This place is a complete joke, i went in to have a brake pad replaced and they told me i needed pads, rotors and calipers on all four tires and quoted me $1100. Ended up just replacing the pads myself for around $50. Feel really bad for some of the people that for sure get taken advantage of by this place. Will never go back again.
I had a terrible experience with them trying to fix non-existent problems for way too much money. A friend of mine just had a similar experience. Dont agree to let them fix anything unless you are extremely confident you know what needs fixed and what the price of the fix SHOULD be.
The guys here saved my but!!!! As a drivers ed teacher when my car breaks on a Sunday that Im booked 12 hours straight my word falls apart and these guys got me in right away to fix a broken bumper 😑 and then didnt even charge me they def have mine and all my co workers business from now on

2022-06-02Truly the worst consumer experience I have ever had. I had a screw in my tire and a tight deadline to get it fixed, so rather than fix it myself I brought it here to have it fixed. They claimed that my tread depth was too shallow to repair. While this was not true, I wasn’t in a place to argue due to my time constraint so I went ahead and let them fleece me for two new tires for $500 (much more expensive than that should be). At this point, I wasn’t even upset as they were able to complete this very quickly. The real problem is that several months later, my car started experiencing a number of other issues. When I brought it in to the dealership to repair, they told me that my two new front tires were different sizes, which had led to around $6000 in damages to my vehicle. After contacting them about the issue, they have just given me the run-around and will not take any responsibility for their mistakes. I would recommend avoiding this shop.

2022-07-07Have no idea how good of work they actually do but they have to have the worst customer service of any auto shop Ive ever attempted to use. My car was there for 5 days, just to get looked at for a leak, not to get anything fixed. I called 5 separate times, was told 3 separate times it would get looked at THAT day and theyd call me back. Was never called back and when I just decided to get my car, they had to spend 10 minutes looking for the keys because they had no clue where they were. I dont expect great service but this was just ridiculous.

2022-06-21Fast and friendly. Wayne was the only one working on Fathers Day and had lots of customers, but was still kind and fixed my valve stem in a jiffy.

2021-12-19Girlfriend took her car to check on a tire that was leaking. We figured something was stuck in it where we couldnt see or leaking valve stem. Turns out that the tire needed replaced for a nail. All good so far.BUT what is not understandable is that when they called her back they mentioned that the nail was in the side of the tire, pretty rare for something like that we thought. Keep this in mind...I told her when she picked up her car to ask to see where the nail was. She did. It wasnt on the side at all. She said it was half way between the center and the outer edge of the tire. Which means they could have tried to plug it. I understand that plugging a tire isnt always ideal, but you could have let her know her options.Than they never asked her what kind of tire she wanted and the fees associated with it. We assumed that the price even on the high end would be roughly 150 or so. Explain to me how ONE tire should cost someone 250$. I got all 4 tires a month ago somewhere else for 450$. They totally just took advantage of her and didnt blink twice. When she finally went to go pay, he told her to just insert her card without telling her the amount. Who does that? Wow. Just astonishing.Just because you are located in a wealthy area does not mean you can take advantage of people.

2022-05-02Professional, fast and friendly. They saved the day by fixing a broken valve on my tire on the spot. Highly recommend this place!

2022-02-28New tires should come with some type of discount, whether free alignment or other. Instead, I received additional charges for “optional” services that were never provided as as optional and I wouldn’t have approved.

2021-03-06I had a flat tire, completely unexpected and after having just gotten that tire replaced a few months prior, I called Tire Choice on Friday and spoke with Kayla I believe, she was extremely helpful and got my an appointment the next day. Andre was who I met when I arrived for my appointment, he was extremely friendly, professional and accommodating. I was even 15 minutes late to my appointment and he couldnt have been nicer about it! Really appreciate the service and kindness from this place and will absolutely be back for any other car needs I have, though hopefully thats a bit farther away next time!

2020-11-03I had a disaster yesterday (10/1/20). While traveling in Columbus, OH, on a Sunday no less, on tires that are essentially brand new, I hit a fairly insignificant pothole as I pulled into a convenience store. When I came out of my 90 second visit, I noticed both of my right side tires seemed low. As I tried to put air in them, they wouldnt take any. Uh-Oh...As it was near 3:00 on a Sunday, and I absolutely needed to return to Pittsburgh that evening, I went to the Tire Choice on Tremont Rd. in Columbus. I was greeted by the Store Manager, Tony Bellman, who quickly took the car in and discovered that both tires had sidewall punctures and we irreparable. He also informed me that he did not have those tires in stock. Thats not abnormal as its an Audi and they like to do things differently..I called another local provider, who had the tires but wouldnt be able to install until Tuesday. Mike agreed to install them and even tried to get them delivered for me but the provider wouldnt take a credit card on the phone because, ya know, its 1978.....and a customer in trouble has to comply with policy...After some additional issues, I was able to get the tires to the Tire Choice store at about 4:30, well after closing time. That, however, was no problem as Mike stayed open to take care of my needs. The tires were installed and test driven quickly and I was on my way.In this day and age it was fabulous to find a service provider that, when recognizing my dilemma, went out of his way to get me back on the road. Lets be clear. Its Sunday. Its the end of a long work day and my trouble took priority. Thats exceptional.Although I dont live in Columbus, my son does and he saw the kindness and effort that made my required trip home possible. Im certain hell be visiting when he needs tires or service. For me, I am truly grateful for having found a store and a manager that made his branch work for me even if he had to extend the hours of operation. Thats pretty rare these days. Thanks Tony and thanks Tire Choice for giving him the freedom to help troubled customers.

2021-06-22Been to them for a few oil changes/check ups, pretty straight forward, cut off some hanging plastic for free. I had trouble with installing my wiper blades, John helped me took a look with the replacements I already had and taught me how to do it and didnt charge me. Been very stress free in my experience.
