I was a little worried when I dropped the car off after the gentleman at the service desk said hopefully I get more guys coming in today cuz Im the only one here right now. But nevertheless they ended up getting my car fixed timely and I didnt feel bamboozled, which is always a good thing.
This place has gone downhill. Tried to drop my car off for an appointment and spent 10 minutes trying to get the attention of the workers in back. Knocking on the door, waving, calling. Spent the next 5 minutes looking up recent reviews and decided to go elsewhere. Im not interested in fighting to pay people money.

Bryan was extremely helpful along with his mechanics they squeezed me in to get my wheel bearing fixed and completed it very quickly Bryan also kept me undated when the part they ordered was running behind I will definitely be coming here for all my further car issues!
Four the second time in four months I have had an exceptional experience with The Tire Choice Auto Service Center on Bethel Road, Columbus, Ohio. The first was about four months ago when I discovered a nail in my tire and they were able to patch it so I didnt need a new tire. Well, last night my tire pressure light came on and I was panicked because I have to drive to Pomeroy, OH on Friday. This morning, I called Tire Choice and explained my situation and the very nice gentleman said to bring it right in. He checked all the tires, filled them to the required pressure, explained how the change in the weather and aluminum wheels causes this and sent me on my way. I have been using the dealer for my maintenance but am considering using this Tire Choice location for my future routine maintenance needs.
Got my brakes changed and the man was very polite. It was cool because he showed me the brakes and I was like 😬 because they were so thin like oh man. But everything was quick and I will be coming back in the future for oil changes or anything my car might need later down the road
The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I needed new brake pads and rotors and I was driving a car that needed a lot of work overall. The man who helped me did a very good job of walking me through exactly what he was doing to fix the car and updated me on the work that would need to be done in the future. He called me to the bay to look at the process, showed me what the problem was and didnt talk down to me once. He checked in multiple times through the process and had me okay the work that he was doing before he proceeded. Overall a very positive experience for a competitive price. I would definitely come back for future repairs.
I found Tire Choice when searching for exhaust repair. I started my car last Sunday and it sounded like an explosion happened, then my car was SUPER loud. I called the Bethel Rd location and was told it sounded like someone stole my catalytic converter. I was shocked. My husband looked under my car and sure enough it was gone. Tire Choice even told me my auto insurance would cover it. (I would not have known that) so, I take my car in and meet with Eric and he was very informative and kept me updated throughout the entire process. My parts had to be ordered and there was more damage found (they cut wires, and took/ broke O2 censors) it came out to just under $3k to repair. Eric worked with Geico and got the claim all sorted out and paid. I literally didnt have to do anything apart from an initial call to tell them where I was taking my car. Once my parts came in 5 days later he had my car fixed within a couple of hours. Today I picked my car up!! It runs and sounds like new! Eric even let me know he discounted the charges a little to get it completely covered. THANK YOU ERIC for going above and beyond to make this theft right for me. I had Tire pressure issues last not had it check seem to be ok. Driving into work the light came back on. I called Discount Tire but they were put off with my call so I call Tire Choice. Steve was awesome Checked the tire fixed it with no delay and off to work I went. I will be back if I need assistance with Tires. Good Job Steve and thank you.
While I didnt like having to put so much money into my truck, Eric the manager and his crew did a fantastic job of explaining the issues. The truck now runs smooth and Im very pleased. Because of a couple unexpected hiccups with the repair time line, they offered me a ride home and to cover an Uber charge. Highly recommend.
Jesse was a good dude! We lost 2 lug nuts (the stems busted right off) while driving on the highway. We went and bought a new wheel barring and Jesse had it fixed within 30 minutes and we were able to get back on the road!!! Thanks again!!! Good customer service is hard to find in most places these days!
Tire Choice on Bethel is always so good to me. Jesse, the store manager, is extremely kind and thorough. He explains things in a way even I can understand with no knowledge of cars! Nick the technician got my car right in a matter of hours. They are the best and I will only come here!
Absolute worst experience you can have at a repair/maintenance shop. Came in with a company vehicle for a minor over heating issue due to a gasket needing redone and transmission coolant lines. Paid $650 for the repair, within two days overheating issue came back. Van was brought back for the repair to be redone. Told it was taken care of free of charge. 1 day later after second repair was done, van overheats and coolant starts leaking everywhere under the van, now needing towed back to TireChoice they take absolutely no responsibility for the issue and say “it’s unrelated” and they will not even do the repair for the new radiator because they told me word for word they don’t want to be “Married To The Vehicle” absolutely terrible on every single level of experience with them. I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone. No matter if it’s as simple as tire pressure needing checked. They are not the place you want to go.
I absolutely love this place. They are very fast and efficient. The prices are definitely affordable. I used to go to other “quick” places for my car maintenance and repairs but believe me when I say that changed today. The staff is very friendly and treated my car very well. They truly take good care of your car. I will forever come back here. Thank you all so much for taking amazing care of my car and I. It is running amazing!!!
We just left Tire Choice after calling multiple tire shops in the area and they were able to take us in for an emergency situation regarding a nail in our tire. They were friendly, very knowledgeable and we can’t thank them enough for having us road ready now! I highly recommend taking your vehicle here, they are honest and great people and you will be taken care of! Thank you!!
Went in for a tire rotation. Perry checked my tread depth and said I didnt need to...at no charge. I have been to this location before, and I am going back when I need to...Honest mechanics are hard to find, and this shop has an honest guy running it. Will update when they do my exhaust tomorrow!UPDATE: STILL FIVE STARS...would give more if possible. Shop manager, Perry repaired my exhaust system today, and made sure it was done to his and my own satisfaction. My Honda is back to being quiet and I could not be happier with the service I received. I watched him help people with no charge for simple fixes, he gave updates and cautions where needed and worked with my budget and his customers in the shop today. YOU DONT SEE THAT OFTEN! Ill be happy to take my vehicle there again, TREATING PEOPLE WITH RESPECT BUILDS BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS! And I respect that! Thanks to all the gentlemen there working!
Would definitely recommend Tire Choice after working with Dan & Kevin with my car. I had a not so great car experience with a different management team in a different shop, but the team here really went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and understood what was going on with my car. I appreciate that they always took the time to explain things to me and answered all the questions and requests I had- and the service was quick and easy to get in for. They definitely restored my faith after being really untrusting of shops after my first experience. I feel comfortable that I will be treated honestly and fairly here!
I was a first time customer at the Bethel Rd Monroe and will be coming back. It was just a routine oil change, but Perry was clearly interested in making me a satisfied customer. He also gave me a good price on some rear brakes that have been pulsing for a bit and was able to set up a convenient time for the work. We had a great conversation on how he got into the business and ended up not charging me for the oil change. Not sure how you do any better than that...
Excellent service! I had a nail in my tire. The shop owner fixed the tire super fast. He made me feel welcomed and appreciated. He was professional and polite. I will definitely use this shop again. I will definitely tell my friends/family to use this shop. 10/10 experience!!!!
I took my Honda Element in to have a hanger for a muffler welded on. I figured it would be a simple job. I was getting estimates over the phone from $60-$170. I drove there anticipating that I would drop the car off and pick it up at another time. Jesse took my keys and 15 minutes later he said the job was done, and trust me the price was much lower. Wow! I will certainly return to Tire Choice. Thanks for your help Jesse!
I have been going to this location for a few years now. They have always provided good service and good prices. However, my most recent experience was very disappointing.I made an appointment to get new tires and an alignment. When I arrived the person working was talking to a customer outside. He saw me walk into the building but said nothing. I waited for 20 minutes and just as I was about to leave he came in. Apparently this location only has a single worker on a Saturday. The biggest annoyance to me is after such a long wait there was no apology or even acknowledgement of how long I had been there waiting for him. The employee then tells me they cant do an alignment because their machine is broken. So I just ended up getting the new tires installed. It took 4 hours.
I was getting my boyfriends car fixed they were very patient with me having to call and ask him if he wanted to go ahead with the repairs. The best part of the service is that they were able to explain to me the problem. I really like to understand what is going on and they took the time to explain the issue with the mechanism within the car. Also they were able to get the car done that day even though the shop closed in a few hours. Thanks again!
I had a very good experience here on 2/23/20. I had two tires that were losing air and was hoping they could be patched. After a cursory inspection, the tech told me up-front that one could definitely be patched but that the second may need replaced, depending on the outcome of a more detailed inspection. At that point, I agreed to have them service the tires. After a detailed inspection, the tech told me that the second tire could also be patched. Frankness and honesty are my most important considerations in choosing who to have work on my car. I greatly appreciated receiving both here.
Ask for Perry Daniel, (new manager) he definitely knows what hes doing. Im very impressed with their customer service and car service. They diagnosed my cars issue and gave me a follow up call in under an hour. Even took me to work and finished the car before my lunch break. Very happy with my experience here and will definitely recommend them for any car maintenance needs.
I recently had my vehicle repaired at this location. Having used a family own local shop for years in my hometown, I was hesitant to have my car taken to a chain establishment. However, the service was exceptional and Perry answered made sure to explain all procedures needed prior to performing them. He also made sure to show me the removed parts so that I was comfortable in the work that had been performed. I am certain it was very apparent that I was lacking in knowledge and confidence regarding the repair, but I didnt feel exploited by Monro at all. I had a roommate use this shop a month or so ago and he also was very happy with the work Perry and staff did. I would definitely recommend.
Ive always been a Monro customer but today I truly had the best customer experience hands down. I spoke with Perry Daniel, got me in right away, no wait time. Talked to the mechanics they were all very knowledgable and honest with me. This is why I love Monro and will continue to do business with them. They are honest, respectable and operate the business with full integrity which is rare in mechanic shops. Will never go anywhere else to get my car serviced! This is the place to go for honest service!
I used to live just down the street and when this was a Monroe Muffler I used to go in there all the time to get my oil changed. The service was excellent. The manager knew me by name and we got along excellently.I have since moved and have not been there in nearly a year and noticed they changed to a Tire Choice, which I understand is owned by Monroe. I called to see about getting a new tire and was quoted a price that I thought was a great deal. Upon arriving, I was informed that they had only given me the cost of the tire itself over the phone and that it would be an additional $45 to have it mounted and balanced. When I expressed that I was not expecting this additional cost I was told that everyone has that charge and it is standard. No discount or apology was given despite the lack of information on the phone.The gentleman at the desk was polite, which is the only reason I am giving the 2nd star, but I thought the service was greatly lacking, especially considering what it used to be. I will not be returning anytime soon.
Was sent to this location by another store due to the fact they had the tires in stock. Was met by the manager Jesse and was able to immediately get my truck in and tires installed with in less than an hour wait. Everything was quick , easy and smooth. Would definitely recommend this location.
Perry is awesome. Service was fast and honest. As a female I normally hate going to car places but I felt very comfortable and actually enjoyed myself. I got an oil change and It took a total of 25 min from the time I pulled in to the time I pulled out. Highly recommend this Monroe muffler and brake. 😊
I have never written a negative review but this one is justified. I feel this may help someone else. DO NOT GO HERE!!! They will definitely take advantage if you are a female. They will lie and tell you things on your car need done that really dont. My car was misdiagnosed twice by them. I paid them a $1000 for work on my car and my car still has the same problem. They hire incompetent workers that lie. I have proof of all of this too!! Save the headache and take your car to a certified dealership. Itll save you money in the long run. Dont fall for the 5 star reviews. I wouldnt doubt if they paid people to write them. Horrible communication. They kept my car for 3 days with no update. You have to call them! This is just a condensed version of everything that has happened with this company. I will add I have been coming to Monro for the last 6 years and have not had a problem until this location. Even their worker stated that some work done on my car was a selling tactic. How disgusting!
Stay away from the Bethel Rd location! Every time I go here, they are trying to charge me way too much. For instance, on 7/16/20, I walked in for a conventional oil change (non-synthetic), and even though the sign said 19.99, the guy gave me the invoice and it said $54. He tried saying that he saved me money by taking $10 off. Walked out and went to a different Monroe/Tire Choice, and they gave me the right price before me telling them about what happened at the Bethel rd location. Brake service was the same kind of story. Monroe/tire choice are good shops in general, but not the one on Bethel Rd.
Super nice employees! My car started making an awful grinding sound late in the afternoon on a Saturday, right before I had to make a long drive out of state. They fit me in before they closed and we’re able to fix my brakes that day. The assistant manager Keyshaun showed me what the problem was and explained what they did, which I appreciated since I don’t know much about cars. There was a piece of hardware missing that they couldn’t order that day since they had stayed past closing, but he put in a temporary fix & let me know that when I come back I’ll only be charged for the hardware and not for labor. I appreciate him going above and beyond, and charging a fair price to boot!
I just dropped by the shop this morning after a curb incident last night. Walking through the door, I was immediately greeted by kindness and generosity. Im usually hesitant to go to a car mechanic alone for fear of being ripped off, but everyone here was open and transparent with me, willing to negotiate to provide me the best service for an unbeatable price. While repairing my car, I also decided to get an oil change. I originally was told a lower price that turned out to be more after checking in the computer, but instead of charging me more, they did my repair for free! Definitely visit this location for all of your car needs. I know I will definitely be returning in the future and recommending them to all of my friends. Thank you!!
I brought my working vehicle to this shop looking for new brakes. I was called to say my vehicle was finished and when I picked it up my brakes were not working two mechanics told me something else must have been wrong when I brought the vehicle in. I had to have the vehicle towed to another shop where I found out THEY PUT THE BRAKES ON BACKWARDS.I called customer service to request a full refund and they only agreed to 50%. It took me almost three months to get said refund. This is a much longer story, but all I can say is, I will never use a Monro service center again because of their ineptitude and lack of accepting responsibility for the mistakes of their mechanics.
Walked in expecting to replace brakes, rotors and get an oil change. Walked out with knowledge, and the feeling that I was valued for my return business. I ended up getting the oil change, and will be back when my brakes actually need replaced as they still had life in them.This shop is honest and does good work. Thats why Monroe and their front of house rep Perry deserve this 5 star review.
Oscar provided outstanding service. Came in for an oil change and new headlight. He caught an issue I knew about but forgot to mention. Fixed it quickly and for a great price, no high pressure sales just honest advise. Recommend calling ahead to make an appointment, they were looking at my car within 5 minutes of bringing it in.
Completely Unethical! I will NEVER allow anyone I care about to use this service center again. First off, my husband took our truck over there this morning and explained the truck was needing the brakes done. He asked if we didnt need the rotors done to please just do the pads. The Owner of this center looked at the brakes and said there was slight grooves but he could pad slap and that would be okay for now. The night before we were given an estimate of $212.00 to do the repair. NO PHONE CALL WAS MADE once the truck was dropped of to approve or not the job. About 1 1/2 hours later he received a call stating the truck was done and the price was $270.76. Not cool Monroe! A phone call SHOULD have been made in the State of Ohio not only for the work to be done, but the 24% increase in the cost. When I called to speak the the person he basically had an entire different story of what my husband said. So, sadly I will continue looking for a reputable service center in this area and will NEVER do back there again.
Perry was fantastic. He found my problem and fixed it in under an hour. He was so nice and professional throughout our interaction. I will definitely be recommending Monro on Bethel and will use their services again. It was a refreshing change from another establishment where I first attempted to have my car fixed.
Ive dealt with many shops over the years, and this, by far, was my best experience to date. I came in for some exhaust repair work, and Perry, the gentleman who worked with me, was kind, courteous, and wanted to help me weigh my options, in regards to fixing my exhaust, or replacing the entire exhaust system. He was both honest and sincere, and wanted to make sure I was satisfied. I was in and out, with my exhaust functioning properly again, and Ill definitely return if I need anything else!
Perry over at Monroe Muffler on Bethel Road is a godsend. He is very respectful, knowledgeable and keeps you in the loop to what is going on with your car. He does not try to sell you something you dont need and he gives it to you straight. If you need work done on your car by and Monroe Muffler service, that is the place to go. Do not take your car to Monroe Muffler on Hard Road because if you do, you will regret it. They is really a full service shop for all your needs.I just left Monroe Muffler on Bethel Road and was very pleased with the work that has been done on my car. A far cry from the work that was done by Monroe Muffler on Hard Road. He let you go back to see the work they have done and explain in detail what they are doing to fix your car. Perry is a honest, reliable, respectful and trustworthy person and very pleasant to talk to. His mechanics are very knowledgeable, trustworthy and very detail oriented in their job. From the time he has worked on my car, he has kept me in the loop on everything. I am very please with work so far and is very excited to see the outcome of their work. I urge you not to take your vehicle to Hard Road to be work on but instead consider Bethel Road if you want it done right.I went and pick up my car today and it sounds fantastic. Perry at Monroe Muffler on Bethel Road, like I said, is a godsend. My car was fixed properly and sounds like it did before I had problems with it. I am very pleased with service and worked I received from Monroe Muffler on Bethel Road. If you have any car problems and need it done properly, you be a fool not to take it there. Attention to details and knowledgeable expertise in their work is what you will receive. If I need anymore work done to my vehicles, that is the place I will go. Please do not take your car to Monroe Muffler on Hard Road because if you do you will regret it. They do shabby work and is very unprofessional and unreliable. Dont be naive and go there!

The staff was very helpful, and showed me what was wrong with the car first hand. They are helpful and easy to talk to. The work done on the car was exceptional. Overall this muffler and brake service center exceeded my expectation in customer service, efficiency, and quality of work.
My car broke down on the side of the road. I had it towed to this Monroe Muffler and they took AMAZING care of me. They were honest about what was wrong with my car even though they couldnt fix it. The management was very caring, kind and compassionate towards me about my situation. I highly recommend this location. Not only will you receive good service but they also will treat you very well.
Went there for an oil change, and was happy to find it well priced and there was no attempt to up sell on unnecessary services. Very refreshing. Went back again to get a tire stem fixed, and the folks who worked with me were very helpful in explaining what I needed done and gave me multiple options that varied in price range. Was out of there in 14 minutes. Would recommend and will be back.
I had been all over Columbus trying to find someone to get my truck in last minute, this was my last stop of the day and these guys had every bay filled with vehicles and after explaining my situation they were able to fit me in. I had to get on the road and head to Florida and I knew my truck was going to give me issues along the way if I didnt get it serviced first.I am very thankful for the gentleman here, and it didnt cost me a arm in a leg either.Very professional, and great customer service.
In a time where the public seems to be crabby and uncertain it was nice to visit a place that was more like he old normal, except with masks on lol, friendly and inviting staff that you could see their smile through the mask. Priced way better than nearby places and quite simply seemed to be enjoying their job. Will for sure be back

I just got my oil changed for a second time at this location since Perry took over management. Both visits have been great experiences. Today, while I was there, I expressed that I was going to be driving cross-country in a couple days. Perry went out of his way to make sure that the car was ready for the trip. I highly recommend this location.
Id been here once before when I lived in the area, so I popped over after work to see when I could get my oil changed.It is under new management and I am nothing less than fully satisfied!!! They were able to do it right then and it took about 20-30 minutes. Every one of the employees that came through the waiting area acknowledged me with a smile or friendly words, and the manager was very nice.
I cannot say enough positive things about this place! They gave me a quote and were very accurate. My car is better than when l bought it!!! They did what they said and actually charged me a little LESS than the quote!!! Im quite impressed with my overall experience ... Perry, the manager, was THE BEST!!! Ive been going to the Monro on Bethel for a few years now, and have always been given excellent service. The most recent time I went was to have an intermittent check engine light diagnosed. When checking in for my appointment, I spoke with Perry and explained what was going on. Instead of just taking my car in, he suggested that I try a fuel add-in to clean out the fuel line. I was skeptical at first, but after doing as Perry instructed, my check engine light has been off for a while now! Needless to say, I am very pleased with his honesty and willingness to suggest a potentially cheaper solution. I will definitely be returning here for all of my maintenance needs! Thank you!
I dont normally write reviews, especially about auto service centers, but due to the exceptional service that I received from Monro Muffler Brake & Services staff and Manager, Perry I feel it is a diservice to them not to share my experience. Perry, the Manager is honest, very professional, and maintained excellent communication with me while my vehicle was being serviced! Perry kept me updated throughout the entire process. The staff was very professional, respectful, and courteous. I highly recommend Perry and his staff at Monro Muffler Brake & Service to everyone, but especially to the women who always feel like they get taken advantage of everytime they take their car to be serviced. Finally, an honest, professional, & caring auto service shop I can trust! Perry, I want thank you and your staff so much for all your help! I stopped by for a price quote on a wiper problem I was having and the gentleman at the front was incredibly helpful in trying to see what the issue was. I had been to firestone but they had quoted the cost much higher than Monroe had. He even tried to fix it on the spot although the problem was a little worse than imagined. I appreciated the time he took to look it over and give me an honest evaluation with no added cost. Good honest people working here! Keep up the good work!
Mr. Tire at Bethel Rd./Reed Rd is no more, so I tried out Tire Choice (same company) on Bethel Rd. It turns out that Mr. Tire moved because of an issue with the building, and the Tire Choice on Bethel Rd. is run by the same local management team. I always had a good experience at Mr. Tire. I had a similar good experience at Tire Choice this weekend. If you liked the Mr. Tire at Bethel Rd./Reed Rd., give this one a look.
So my car broke down right across the tire choice on bethel road which I have been to before and had great service but they went out to my car to bring it to the lot and they said they couldnt get it in neutral and that my car jumped time and there was nothing they could do and so I was left there on the street I had to call a tow truck got my car home and my friend was able to get the car started and did a few things to her but it didnt work but I ended up taking it to another service cuz my car was driving to get there and they did a plus cuz theres a bubble in it and change the water hose and my car is running great now but they told me they couldnt do anything because of the timing issue which they didnt even have it hooked up to you a analyzer so they told me to stop and have me on a high anxiety level thinking my car was done for and my new repair at the other place I took it to was only 400 and some dollars I feel like the new staff there is not professional or knowledgeable
I got work done here because it was close to home, and I am so glad I did! I feel like these are the most honest people that I have worked with when having to do work on my car. They were straightforward, did the work quickly, and at a great price. I will definitely be coming back here!
My mom came to Columbus to visit for mothers day and as we were out and about we noticed a burning smell coming from the front tires. When we drove to our next place there was smoke coming from the front, drivers side tire. Monro was the closest place so I called them and Perry (store manager) was excellent, he fit my moms van in right away and once he knew what the issue was he walked us through through the problem and fixed it immediately. It has been awhile since Ive taken my car to a monro muffler (I used to go to a different one) but after my experience with how Perry handled my moms issue Im willing to give them a shot if something comes up with my car. Wanted to share our good experience.
I stopped place air in my tire at a gas station compressor today and my tire would not accept any air... although the other tires did just fine. The tire was below 10 psi so I was concerned that there might have been an issue with the valve. I made a same-day appointment at Monro and they were able to air up my tire without any issues free of charge. It took a few minutes of their time to help me out and prevent damage to my tire, but it made my day! They were very helpful and would definitely return for service.
Ari was a Godsend today..got a flat on the way to my wifes ultrasound. He installed the spare for me and got me back on my way in less than 10 minutes and I was able to make it to the appointment thanks to his awesome service! What a guy. Not many people are this amazing.
Do yourself a favor and never do business with tire choice (monro). My terrible experience is documented below (and I don’t use that term lightly so read on).I purchased a set of 4 tires from this location.1. Tires were not balanced correctly so I had to return with the car to get them rebalanaced.2. Appointments were running late and my vehicle was not ready in a very timely fashion. A phone call would have been nice as I was riding the bus to and from the location.3. There was an advertised rebate for, if you bought a set of 4 tires of a certain brand and signed up for the “Drive” credit card, you received a $100 rebate. I qualified for the credit card, paid for the tires. I then asked the manager in the store if he knew how to obtain the rebate. He had no idea. I called Tire Choice (Monro) corporate headquarters, they had no idea. I called the other tire choice service centers in Columbus, OH, and they also had no idea. I finally figured it out by contacting the financial institution that backs the credit card (Citibank). Citibank gave me the name of the rebate company (ACB coop rebate center). We are now two weeks after I got the tires.4. I called ACB coop rebate center. They told me the rebate was only for $50 dollars, when it should have been $100. They sent me a link to apply for the rebate online. I applied so I could at least get the process moving on HALF of the rebate I was one. I then received a letter in the mail a week later saying I did not provide a receipt. I already had provide a receipt that showed my name and all personal information, the tire purchase, and that the tires were charged to the “Drive” credit card. The letter was vague and unhelpful. I called the rebate center and they stated they needed a special receipt, even though all the information they needed was on the original receipt.5. I called tire choice (monro) AGAIN, and asked for the special form/receipt. Just as before, they had no idea what the rebate company needed. At this point I think it’s safe to say that this represents total incompetence. The rebate company and the bank are third parties that directly impact a tire choice customers experience. Also in this call I finally got my first decent news, a $50 credit to my drive credit card account. This is after around 7 hours of extra time wasted on this nightmare.6. I contacted tire choice (monro) again and asked them to provide me with one additional credit of $50 so I could be done with this horrible customer experience. Two emails and 4 days later I have yet to get a commitment to get what I, as the customer, is owedOverall, worst customer service experience of my life. 8 hours of my life wasted and no solution in sight. If I would have known that tire choice was just a rebranded monro in my area I probably wouldn’t have chanced it. I am currently filing various BBB complaints and CFPB complaints on Citibank as a last resort.
I was very pleased with my experience here. Everyone was friendly and I was able to get my car fixed in a timely manner. I was worried I would be pushed into spending more money than I needed to, but they offered me a simple and inexpensive alternative to my problem. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of and I really appreciated that. Will definitely come back.
At the end of November I went for checking the brake status on my car. they checked and changed the two front brake rotors and all the pads. one month later I took another appointment because my car was no good while I was braking and also I got noises every time I was braking. they checked and gave me back the car saying they didnt find any problem. they said to be patient and wait around 2k more miles because it was normal when you change brake pads. I waited 4k miles. My car was getting worst week by week and I was seriously worried about the safety for my family. So I changed dealer: they fund all the 4 caliper seriously damaged and they changed the rotor brakes in the rear side too this time, as well as the pads because they were ruined. my car is great again from the moment I left the other dealer. my opinion is that they have caused more damages in some way to my brake system, and theyve probably also underestimated the problem when I went there for the second time. choosing the wrong dealer caused me a huge waste of money and a big risk for my safety.
Definitely the best Monro location around Columbus. Have been here 4+ times since I’ve moved here and haven’t had a problem yet. Good availability and quick service always - called today and got in immediately without an appointment.Turns out my brake pads are shot, but rather than coercing me into overpriced service I was shown the issue and given a rundown of everything in order to get it serviced through a family friend. :)
Very realistic, friendly, and honest shop. Had an issue with my exhaust where they could have tried to do a high pressure sales routine to sell me on a 1200 dollar repair but they instead were very honest about what needed to be done and broke down exactly what all my options were for me so I could make the best decision for me and my budget. I have had numerous positive experiences here between my car and my girlfriends car.
Honest. Reasonable Prices. Fantastic Customer Service!I would like to specifically mention that Keyshawn and Jim both went above and beyond in terms of customer service, I was very impressed.I was recently in this Monro Muffler to get an oil change as well as a tire rotation. This only cost me $28 and was done in a reasonable amount of time. While Jim was in the process of rotating my tires he had shown me that all 5 lugnuts on one of my tires were quite messed up. This tire was recently replaced by Firestone and whoever was working on it did not use the correct size of a certain tool to remove and replace the lugnuts which had resulted in warped lugnuts with indentations where they shouldnt be.Keyshawn had offerred to replace them free of charge but unfortunately they did not have the right size lugnuts in stock. Monro went above and beyond and Jim actually drove me to both Autozone and Advanced Auto Parts to see if we could find the right size. Unfortunately, neither store carried what I needed so I will have to go to the Ford dealership itself to get these specific lugnuts.I was extremely impressed with the level of customer service provided as well as the honesty of both employees. I will certainly be returning to this location for all of my future oil changes.
As a delivery driver who works at a business across the street from the shop, this has been my go-to for oil changes for the past 3 years. If I had written a review for past service, it would NOT have a 5 star rating unfortunately :( However, there is a new manager by the name of Perry who is at the shop now and he definitely deserves the 5 star rating! He and his coworker at the desk, along with the other mechanic, were incredibly helpful and personable and honest about the fact that when I had my last oil change there (before Perry took over), the mechanic had neglected to change a part during the oil change that is now having to be replaced. Rather than tell me what was wrong (previous mechanic), they just said that everything was good to go and let me leave. However, Perry was honest and let me know that there is a part that I’ll need at my next oil change, where I can get it, etc. I appreciated that very much. I felt much more comfortable in the shop than I ever had before which is also a plus. I’m very happy to know that so many people are giving him great reviews because he deserves it! (Side note-a lady came into my place of work yesterday to buy Perry a cold soda because he had been so nice and helpful to her!) Thanks again for doing such a great job!
I have been visiting this location for over 2 years now and always have had quick and kind service. Prices are also very reasonable. A special shoutout to Oscar for being so kind and taking the time to show me the parts on my car that were needing repaired. Very trustworthy and genuinely kind so if you’re in the area he’s the one to ask for! 5 stars for customer service and a job well done.
I had my car’s brakes replaced at a small hometown shop in southern Ohio before driving up to Columbus. I noticed a grinding noise while driving and took my car to this shop on a Saturday morning of the Ohio State vs Michigan game. These guys guy my car in and looked at within minutes and showed me the problem. If left unchecked it could’ve caused serious car issues or safety issues. They got my car fixed up and back on the road within an hour and charged a very reasonable price. The even told me to get pictures to show the previous mechanic in case I needed a new rim. Great service all around.
Monroe Auto Service and TiresI just wanted to say that I honestly had the best customer service possible at your location located on Bethel Road in Columbus Ohio from both the manager Keshawn Ward and the repairman Chad Ogle. I called last minute with a broken alternator and getting towed by AAA a mile from this location. Im just a college kid who doesnt hardly know a thing about vehicles, mileage, models, etc., but your manager over the phone not only took his time and patience with me in identifying the right part for the vehicle. He also explained how to find this information both on the car and the registration papers, how long it might take, and actually managed to calm me down emotionally as I was worried (nearly crying) about how I dont know what Im going to about this car, college, just in general having a long long week. The repairman assured me (and did so quickly) he could repair the alternator as soon as he got the part (which both parties did quickly). I just couldnt ask for a faster, better service for a simple problem with a vehicle. Been coming to this location for the last ten years, a new MGR Perry is now operating this location, this is the best service I have had so far I could notice the big difference as soon as I walked in, the lobby area was neat and clean and you could see a big difference in the garage area!! The garage area was clean and well organized. I received prompt polite service. Hope this guy stays around because he is making a difference!!
I went to tire discounters first. They wanted 40$ for wheel balancing and schedule appointment or wait 2.5 hrs to get it done.This place got my wheels balanced for ½ the price and i was out in less than 40 minutes without any appointment.Staff was very friendly and polite.
Since becoming Tire Coice with Jesse Steel running the shop & Nick Evans the mechanic I have never seen it more busy, efficient, clean, & well run! Will continue to come here for my automotive needs & will gladly recommend it to anyone Who needs their car or SUV serviced.

They saved me from spending several hundreds of dollars on parts I didnt actually need. These guys were courteous and explained why I didnt need to drop money, actually showing the wear and tear, or lack thereof on the parts I was previously told I had to get. They werent at all pushy and I didnt feel rushed while leaving. Im so glad I got another opinion! I definitely recommend this Monro location.
It was awful. I took my car to Monro in Bethel rd. for a simple brake breeding, they kept my car for 3 days, they were giving excuses and said that they are working and trying.I just went there and see what happen they told me that this place doesnt have the right equipment...after 3 days!!. I lost work days and paid tow service for nothing. They guys are very nice but dont communicate honesty what kind the job are able to do. Really bad experience.
This is place is amazing!! This is the first place Ive been to where i feel like the genuinely care about their customers and listen to you. They will do everything they can to fix your problems. They dont just try to get your money they will tell you their honest opinions. Oscar at the front desk was very personable and customer service oriented. He is a great asset to this company and part of the reason i will continue to take my car here in the future. I highly recommend this place!
Went in about two weeks ago for an oil change and was told my rear brakes and rotors had to be replaced within a week. Now this was after being in a month before and having my front ones changed out, which had very obviously needed to be done. I decided a second opinion was necessary and sure enough my rear brakes are only worn down half way. So thank you for trying to take my money on an unnecessary fix when there are more critical issues that needed to be addressed. You better believe Im finding some place else to take my car.
The staff seem knowledgeable, but I ended up walking away because they have $13.99 oil change advertised on the street, but then oil change price came out to about $30.00. I also said I needed my back turn signal light replaced...to which they said they carry “limited bulbs” and probably wouldn’t be able to do it. They said if they did have the bulb, they would “sell it to me” in addition to the oil change price. Ended up going next door to the Valvoline and had a much more pleasant experience!
I came to this location after working overnight and they were overwhelmed with vehicles. I had to be at my second job in four hours so I was trying to get in and out for an oil change and other maintenance services but they told me it would be a couple of hours until they could get to my vehicle. When one of the technicians (Oscar and Kody) over-heard me telling my wife I probably wouldnt be home and wouldnt be able to take a nap before going to my other job so they expedited my services and I was done within 40 minutes. Im truly grateful and appreciative of there professional and compassion. I know my wife and kids are thankful too. Im forever in debt to those guys. And Ill definitely recommend this location to my family and friends and will be a customer for life. KUDOS to the entire Monro management and staff.

I have gotten good service from other Monro locations and hoped for the same when I recently moved closer to the Monro store on Bethel Road. I neednt have worried. As always, they have outstanding customer service and support. Keshawn is courteous, professional and an expert auto mechanic who went above and beyond in diagnosing and fixing the problem. If I could give this place 0 stars I would!!!I am not one to write any review about anywhere but this place here boy....they earned it!!!I’ve gone to this place 4-5times in this last year. Each time I go because I am a female who drives a sports car I get told thatthis is wrong on my carthat’s wrong on my carand that I have the wrong muffler on my carwhy this why thatAndthat I need this and that.... totaling up to some outrageous amount)When I first started going there I had NEW tires. Every time I go I always get the “best” option they have. They always tell me that they do everything I’ve paid for. When clearly they don’t do everything I paid for.Today I go and the guy at the desk tells me my back tires are bad and i need new ones and proceeded to try to sale me the tires.I said so let me ask this question if I need new back tires it’s because the last place I took my car for a oil changed didn’t Rotate them? He said correct. He said where did you take it last I said HERE!!!Then to top it all of the genius who actually takes your car back was Reving up my engine like a loon because it’s a loud car and proceeded to do it when he was pulling it out even the customers inside said what is he doing. I am beyond furious AND WILL NOT be going back even if it’s FREE!!! If you like your car don’t go here!!!! Pay a little little more for better service!!!!
I went here for oil change. In addition, they said that the brake pads were almost finished. So we changed it. The next day, my car started to make severe noise. I went back to them, they said there was a bearing issue. I said that it started after I visited them; to which they said that was a coincidence.Also they say that they do wheel alignment along with oil change, which they didn’t.Long story short.....it appears that they fix one problem and open another one !!
Ok shop. Bought tires on Tire Rack, was listed as a local installer, prices seemed good online, was quick/easy to get an appointment. Had a coupon for 20% off an alignment. Bill was about $160 to mount/balance/align.Wasnt thrilled that balance was an extra $12 per tire and had a random $15 shop fee... all and all descent shop but typical extra items that these auto chains always tack on. Alignment is one of a very few automotive things I dont have equipment to do.... have multiple vehicles, will see if I choose them again.
Got an oil change, went to the store immediately after & came back to my car not starting. Called monro & they acted like it was my fault. Tried to blame it on my battery though in my free diagnostic nothing was mentioned about my battery. Meanwhile I have a brand new battery & no further issues with my car as of now. Super unprofessional, won’t be back & wouldn’t recommend.
I would recommend everyone avoid this shop and Monro locations in general. I went in for the engine code for multiple random misfires and ended with a car giving the same code, with added damage. This location not only installed the wrong parts (wrong sized spark plugs) and caused permanent damage (scratched the pistons), they also installed parts that were not necessary(coil packs, parts removed were tested at another shop showing full functionality) and refused to refund this work. After getting the work done by Monro repaired at another shop, the only responsibility they took was covering the secondary repairs their work caused. I was not refunded for the negligence of their work or reimbursed for the parts they put on that were proven unnecessary. During the time of repair they continuously delayed the work for various reason leaving me without a car for the better part of a week and then given a barely functioning vehicle at the end of the process. My experience with this location and the Monro corporate office was the worst I have experienced in relation to any automobile repairs. I am deeply disappointed in the professionalism of this establishment and highly recommend all future customers avoid this location.
Worst service ever. i go to them for a free inspection, show the car that im thinking to buy. they told me nothing wrong with the car. one month later, i have a problem with that car go to local mechanic. the tires need to replace, half shaft need to replace, brakes and rotors need to replace, engin mount needs to replace, front struts needs to replace. the car is in bad shape... but if you ask monroe it was a nice car. i dont suggest their service im sorry.
I was in Monro on Bethel earlier today to have my window fixed. Keshawn and Josh was great! Keshawn exceeds in customer service and I really felt like he went above in beyond in making sure all of my issues were taken care of. Great experience! Would recommend this place to anyone.
Just got back from this location. The staff are friendly, work hard, and do their best. I needed my new brake master cylinder installed, and my lines bled (of air). I turned over my keys expecting my brakes to feel like my accord just came off the lot. After the 3 hour wait time (no biggie; I was expecting closer to 2 days), Cody called me to tell me my car was finished and ready for pickup (i missed the call and had to call him back. Oops). I paid my balance of about $200, and left. When I pulled off, my brakes felt like they did when i dropped it off. Maybe i was expecting too much.While I was leaving the walmart on bethel, my brakes started sinking further to the ground, with no braking power. Luckily, i didnt have my daughter in the back seat; I almost hit another car. Upset, i called the store, and told Cody what happened. He told me to bring it back in, so i did. I didnt understand how a staff, that seemed knowledgeable and (i thought) had the tools, messed up to that extent.After bringing it in, Cody met me outside and examined the brake pedal, only to verify what i was saying was true. Cody genuinely apologized, and i watched as he pulled $50 out of his own wallet and handed it to me, while saying I know this doesnt have anywhere near the same value as you or your daughters life, but Im really sorry, and Im glad youre okay. I was touched by the gesture, and really should have declined his offer, but I was upset and not thinking straight. In my head I was thinking you mother f***ers almost caused me to have an accident and EASILY could have killed me. However, I changed my demeanor after I realised he was being genuine, which I greatly appreciated.The technician working (unfortunately, I didnt catch his name) asked Cody to press the brake pedal to begin the bleeding process. They immediately put my car on the lift, inspected it, and found a wrench on my rear right bleeder valve. AND the valve was still open. All 3 of us immediately knew where my issues were coming from.Supposedly, a technician named Mike did the bleeding initially. I dont know who mike is, but im very upset at him. How do you miss that? Thats the first valve you open on a lot of cars. How did you leave that there, and why wasnt it closed? That could have killed my daughter, my fiance, my mom, brother, me, or a friend. Seriously dude? Are you freaking stoned or something because if so, you need to understand you cant do that while youre on the clock. I bet you wouldnt have made that dumb mistake if it was your car!Cody and the forementioned technician bled my brakes over, and over, and over again. Unfortunately, the brakes still arent to my liking, but i dont have the cash to be picky about how my brakes feel. The car stops and its slightly better than what i had before.Overall, it wasnt exactly the experience i was expecting or wanting. Im just glad my brakes are half-a** working again. Still no where near where Id like them to be, but itll do until i can afford a better finished product - price was way too high for the quality of work. Sorry, Monro.5 stars due to Cody, and the technician that did their best to make me satisfied. Cody was the MVP in that department. I genuinely appreciate his time, words, gestures, and efforts. He definitely went up and beyond, and did more than what id expect anyone to do.Cody, if you read this, or if word goes down, I plan on giving you back your money. All though I really appreciate it, the company (really, even more so, Mike) is liable for the work provided, not you. Thanks a lot. I appreciate what you and the other guy did. Perry and his crew saved the day! I was on my way out of town and had a slow leek on one of my tires, so I asked for a quick patch and thats exactly what I got. No hustle, no pressure sales. I also left knowing I need roters soon thanks to some sound advice from Perry and his crew. I will be back! Thanks guys!
This is my favorite Monro location, by far. The service is always exceptional, and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Shawn has always gone above and beyond to provide the best customer service experience, and I will return here every time thanks to him.
They charged me $150 to lubricate my brake pads to stop a grinding sound I experienced when braking. I later found out that the squeaking was due to my tire rim being bent. I would strongly advise people to not patron this business. They have poor business practices and do not respect its customers.
I was there last Saturday July 20,2019 at 5:15pm for oil change my car,They never acknowledge me when I asked for that, after few minuets one guy from 2 told me we’re sorry can not do that because my friend have family emergency need to get off now! I told him it’s just oil change with filter don’t needed 2 guys! he said I’m sorry don’t have enough time for that you can come back next time.. I never go back again .
If I could rate 0 stars I would. I had an issue with my car which I knew the solution to but didn’t have the means to fix. I took it here hoping for a quick and easy fix. No, they tried to tell me it was over $1000 to fix.. yeah probably not I took it to my parents and got it fixed for under $100. This place is a SCAM
The Monro’s on Bethel Rd is terrible! They never acknowledge me when I go there and I stand in the waiting area for a while without ever being greeted! I have given them several opportunities and now I am done with them! The other Monro’s in Worthington is always considerate and helpful! This is where I will take my business from now on!
I took my car to get a tire alignment and I had to wait for 3 hours. At the end they tell me I need new tires. I have new tires! They should of said something about the tires before they began doing the tire alignment. They are a rip off! They are not fair to their customers!
I went there for oil change. They told me to wait for an hour, our people have gone for lunch.Even the guy was there very rude and behaving like I am stealing something from him. Trash people & place. If you are unable to hire an educated people then please at least teach them ethics.

I did oil change for focus 2012 and the bottom engine cover get out on the highway,I told them when I went to change for second times ,and the manager said it happened because your cover is getting old and I trusted him .I went to change oil for my Corolla and next day I couldnt open the car hood ,and I went back to tell them ,the manager said your car is old that is why ,so that made me crazy ,you broke my hood and all my cars are old .he didnt want to fix it, and he was rude and said dont come back here .every time I took my cars there he was telling me you need to change your rooters ,brake pads, ..etc .Dont believe him when say change parts he is fraudulent and rude
The signs said $17.99 oil change, I was charged $25 plus a bunch of different charges that came up to $34.60 with a $10 discount, then when I confronted the clerk Perry he tried to raise his voice at me but I stopped him, he was pushing me on the time, it was 6:36 and he said he was going to close in 10 minutes when the website said they close at 7, I paid with a$100 bill and he said: well, you’ll have to get your truck tomorrow because I don’t have change... are you kidding me? When I asked why the price was so high he tried to treat me as a dummy, He’s rude and arrogant, i just noticed they didn’t even put a sticker to let me know when my next service is, this place is a joke, a few months ago he made a comment about a pretty girl that was outside, if i didn’t tell him she was my wife I’m not sure he would have said something improper, i do not recommend at least this location
My first time i visit to change motor oil i get little bit obssed for the job they didBut my second visit is new team new spirit and friendly (manager and tekicha ) they treat u good and nice and fast if they dont have people they give me verry big discount defintly recommanded to go and i will go againI hope every body be happy for their job like iam now happy 4th of july

They were very transparent about everything and trustworthy. And would not charge me until they found the problem. 2022-02-13Blew a tire last night in a pothole that was worthy of being dubbed Ohios Poor Man version of the Grand Canyon. This was one of the few places nearby that was open the next morning, and I was able to have the set of front tires replaced in only an hour. The work and the employees are excellent at this location and I highly recommend anyone whether in a pinch or just replacing worn-out tires to visit this store.

2022-04-28One morning my car started acting funky and I did not know what to do, so I found the closest place where my car can be checked. I did not have an appointment. I was greeted very pleasantly. The mechanic checked my car right away. I received the answer of what is wrong with my car and I got an estimate for the repair. Good service, Steve. Thank you!

2022-04-03Went in for oil change, tried to rip me off saying i needed a new serpentine belt, tensioner, CV axels, new tires, and new brake pads and rotors on all 4 tires. Absolutely false. First thing that actually needed replaced besides routine service... An O2 sensor half a year later. Go to AAA down the street, you wont regret it.
